Heya! So, you know that one comic about the apprentice having remnants of the plague you reblogged? My apprentice has something like that, except a little less extreme. Upon revival, she appeared healthy enough. But when Asra started having her do more and more of the same things she would do, she just couldn't. She has a very poor stamina and is unable to walk more than an hour without breaks. She used to love adventures with Asra before the plague, but now she can't do anything like that. She hasn't gained much weight either, no matter how much pumpkin bread Selasi makes for Asra to buy, and falls sick much more often. People don't exactly run away from her, but she does get stares. My question is, what would Yandere Asra do for her, knowing he brought her back only for her to still be so feeble?

I absolutely love this AU/headcanon ! I'm a huge sucker for angst

Asra would be terrified the first time he noticed it, afraid that they were still suffering from the plague and would immediately do everything in his power to try and find a cure.

He would insist on keeping them inside and doing everything for them, making sure they get enough rest.

When he notices that their condition wasn't getting better but also not getting worse, he would let them do more things on their own and take them outside more often, but he'd never let them out of his sight.

He'd make sure to take care of all the people who'd stare at them.

He'd feel intensely guilty and would never stop trying to find a cure, even if that means he'd have to make another deal with the devil. He just wants them to be safe.

Sadly I do not, as I played the game a few years ago and really enjoyed it but I was called some nasty things for making one of the characters a yandere ((the werewolf guy I forgot his name, but I made a soft fic about him being a protective yandere and I was sent some hate))

I don’t mess with that game or fandom anymore even tho I used to really like it! I’ve just been turned sour towards it, too scared to try again for any other characters in the game at all.

CHARACTER OPINION: If you can, the main 6 LIs?

(putting under the cut because I'm sure some people are tired of these by now hahah)

Asra:

Well if you've followed this blog for long enough you might know that I have some strong feelings about Asra and his relationship with the MC and everything that he's done and ahgddhkfdgh I really want to explore these topics with him and my brainkids but it WILL take a lot of energy out of me.

And technically my perception of him is based on quite a lot of headcanons, assumptions and "filling in the blanks" but I feel like in his case, it's fitting in a way.

Done dirty by people calling him creepy and portraying him in the """yandere trope""" and still going for the rent joke smfh

Nadia:

Hhhhgh unfortunately I'm just not very invested in her route & the main upright/reversed conflict going on. I've played though it three times and that separation from her family still feels… off? Very much wish we'd see more of the nerdy artisan side that I KNOW exists, some extra background (like a childhood/youth chapter, y'know, like every other character has), things like that. The "deeper than they seem" tile is more of "should've been portrayed deeper than she was portrayed".

Muriel:

Well I've rambled before about how NH did him incredibly dirty with the route, so I'm not going to repeat myself for the Nth time hah.

"Got done dirty" by SOME fans - that can be said by all characters in existence I'm sure, but his case is a painful one - though I also have to mention that there are a lot of passionate people going "no" and making some A+ content and I love to see it.

The closest I can get to "never done anything wrong" so he's the only one getting this tile checked off.

Portia:

Hm. I have to replay her route one of these days, it's been a while and since she barely appears in most other routes, I don't have a great grasp on her at the moment.

It's kinda odd because I do like her as a secondary character, she's a great friend for both of my MCs. As with Nadia, there's an issue with lacking background - but in Portia's case it's just the fact that she didn't play any role in pre-game events, being "new" to Vesuvia. Between that, shortened route and an entire separate villain that doesn't show up anywhere else, I don't have many strong feelings. That might change if I finally come up with a suitable MC for her route though, so we'll see.

Now he's here, watching his lovely wife tend to her garden and practice blossoming spells- marvelling at how your robes highlight every little beauty and flaw he adores!

He can't help but yearn for you every moment, to just lift you right up from the grass and kissing you all over!

It's what he's worked for after all, why he killed so many just to keep you.

To see not only you in your glory, but his little offspring who follow you like little ducklings

Even if he played you like The Fool... It was all worth it to him, to have you forget what had scared you away from him

"Ack! Asraaa!" You whine playfully, looking back towards the man who picked you up. "I'm not even done showing our son how to change the petal colors!"

Asra chuckles, letting you back down and kissing your head. "If he's anything like you, I'm sure he's already turning them rainbow." To his amusement, the little white haired boy with (e/c) eyes has already painted the garden with enough colors to put a pride parade to shame.

A heavy sigh escapes your lips as you lean back onto Asra, who wraps his arms around your waist and collarbone.

"Asra?"

"Mhm?"

"Do you suppose there's still some places we haven't seen?"

"What do you mean, Y/N?"

"I mean, we haven't seen much of anything since we had our oldest son... In fact, I don't think we've even taken them anywhere unfamiliar."

"You know... I've been just about everywhere, but right here, in this house, with you and the kids... This is the best place to be."

⦁ He tells himself he's only watching you to make sure you're safe. Besides, no one will even remember that they saw him there, hidden in the shadows of the market, intensely gazing at you.

⦁ He sees you hiding behind Asra as he talks to the shopkeepers, you smile shyly, sinking into the magician when spoken to. Muriel feels a sinking feeling in his chest as he watches you, it burns momentarily & he pushes the feeling away with a grunt.

⦁ He isn't used to desiring someone else's company. When it comes to other people, he can't get far enough away. But when it comes to you, he finds himself fantasizing more often than not what it would be like to have you & only you, all to himself, every moment.

⦁ He knows you're shy & feels a closer connection to you because of that. He, too, feels uncomfortable in social situations.

⦁ As he continues to watch you, he sees Asra try to push you to talk to others, trying to break you out of your shyness. Muriel grimaces. He would never try to force you to talk to anyone. In fact, he wouldn't mind if you never left his hut in the forest.

⦁ You could stay with him, talk to him, only him. Or not talk at all. Simply the thought of having you all to himself, alone, secluded from anyone else, that would be enough for him.

⦁ After all, Muriel knows far too well how cruel & painful the world can be. Asra has always been too trusting, you would be safer with him.

⦁ He stalks you through the shadows like a hunter following prey. His intense green eyes glare at everyone who passes you. Muriel knows how people hide their dark intentions, anyone could be a threat to you. He makes a silent vow to keep you safe.

⦁ The thought of anyone hurting you, it takes him back. Makes him feel the rage and malice he felt when he was the Scourge. He hates feeling so angry, and he promised to never be like that again, but he won't hesitate to rip someone apart for you.

⦁ It's almost instinctual as he follows you back to your shop. He sits outside for awhile, hidden from view, relishing in the last few moments where he knows exactly where you are, safe, so close..

⦁ After a while, Inanna whines & Muriel pats her head with a deep sigh. He turns to leave just as the door to your shop creaks open.

⦁ Asra steps out, traveling clothes wrapped around him. Muriel watches intently as you approach the open door, waving goodbye, you look around cautiously before closing the door behind you.

⦁ Muriel can feel his heart thrumming in his chest, a heat rising within him. Asra's leaving you alone, again. He's always leaving you alone. As if he isn't aware of the risks, or doesn't care. Doesn't he realize your safety is more important than anything?

⦁ Muriel suddenly makes a decision. Something he's been struggling with since the moment he saw your sweet, shy smile. He walks up to your door, it's so easily crushed under his strength.

⦁ As he walks in, coming face to face with your terrified expression, for a moment, he feels bad for scaring you. But he feels like he's rediscovered a purpose when he realizes, finally, he can take you where you'll always be safe.

You tremble uncontrollably before the huge, dark figure towering over you. You gasp as a large wolf follows him in, stepping over the debris from the destroyed front door. The wild animal stares you down with glowing eyes that somehow seem more sane than the green gaze from the human man in front of you. He leans closer to you, eyes burning.

"You'll be safe with me, Y/N."

"W-Who -!"

Before you could react, he had pulled you up by your waist and tossed you over his shoulder. You could barely breathe from how tightly he held you to him.

You kicked and flailed around desperately, but it didn't bother him at all. His grip on you only tightened as he carried you out into the night.
