Ever since the Crowley-Levan theory became more well known, I heard many say that it meant that there would be potential romantic undertones (past or present) between Crowley and Lilia, and…I genuinely thought that was part of the appeal! ｡ﾟ(ﾟ´ω`ﾟ)ﾟ｡ Levan theory or not, I really like them. I don’t really think about headcanon stuff that often, so I thought it would be fun to think of some random headcanons as I went along with the drawing!

It would be fun if Crowley had feathers on his body that are usually covered up by his suit (I absolutely adore Falin from Dungeon Meshi). I see some incredible JP artists draw Crowley with these puffier sort of pants, which I also love. I think it would be interesting if Crowley had a sort of greyed-pale, slight splotchy purple and yellow skin tone, like a deceased body that has reached the pallor mortis stage? (*ﾟ▽ﾟ*) It causes an uncanny and uncomfortable feeling whenever most students look at him…there’s just something wrong with him and no one wants to ask NAJXJSJD (I’d like to think that it’s blot related, and his long-term exposure to it has Not Been Good for him 💀)

For Lilia, I think he deserves some bat-like ears ^_^ I imagine him to have scars all over due to his past as a General. I ended up drawing his torso and legs less as thin as they are in canon by accident, but I kept it because I think he’d have a better diet now than his General days as well! (*ﾟ▽ﾟ*) I am jealous of Lilia,,,I’d like to dance with Crowley! (● ˃̶͈̀ロ˂̶͈́)੭ꠥ⁾⁾

I’m really no good at thinking of relationship headcanons haha, so I’d love to hear everyone’s ideas about them! Even though their silliness would technically be combined in a relationship, I feel like Crowley and Lilia could balance each other out? Despite all the antics they would certainly get up to, there’s a mutual acknowledgment of each other’s life experience and age. I can imagine them idly talking about parts of their own pasts over tea or a stroll in nice weather…maybe not huge chunks of backstory, but just little moments from their long lifespan that has stuck with them since. Crowley could potentially become more responsible because he’d be fretting over Lilia’s gaming time ANJDJXBD. Crowley would absolutely eat Lilia’s cooking and to him it would taste good…crows/ravens can eat pretty much anything like meat, berries, garbage and carrion so I don’t think Crowley would be upset about the chopped liver randomly inserted into his meal 😭 Even if they don’t really look it, to me they really give off the vibes of the typical image of an older couple! 🤣🐦‍⬛🦇

It's ok.

Like, nothing wrong with it, but not really a song I would want to listen to on repeat too much? Am I a bad person for saying that? I don't think so. Obviously you connect to some songs and don't to others. I don't hate this one, but don't connect with it too much either.

Not much later Jaime texted me that he was waiting outside my apartment complex. I rushed down and got into Jamie's car, giving him a kiss on the cheek before exposing the necklace I wore.

“I wore it. You wanna tell me why I had to now?”

“Well you didn’t have to, but I knew that if you did it would make my gift to you even better.”

“Jaime, I thought we said no gifts. I didn’t get you anything.”

“You’re all I’ll ever need princess,” I wanted to act annoyed, but the blush on my cheeks would prove my attitude wrong. “-just open it now. I can’t wait until later.”

I nodded in excitement before grabbing the white box, untying the pink bow on top, and opening it. 

“Oh Jaime…” I felt tears build up in my eyes at the necklace he got me. “-this is beautiful. I love it, thank you.” I stretched across the center console to give my boyfriend a kiss.

It was a replica of the necklace I was currently wearing, except instead of my initials they had Jaime’s.

“Let me put it on you.” Jaime said, grabbing the necklace from the box and gesturing for me to turn around.

“Take my other necklace off.” He seemed a bit confused, but still did it.

I pulled the sun visor down and opened up the mirror to look at the piece of jewelry. 

“Jaime, I feel bad I didn’t get you anything.”

“Princess, I already have everything I need right in front of me.” 

“Jaime, wear my necklace. The one with my initials.” I smiled over at him, sheepishly, scared that he wouldn’t like the idea.

“I would love to…” He quickly turned around so I could put my, well his, necklace around his neck. “-I actually asked you to wear that necklace in hopes you’d give it to me.”

Both of us began giggling before we realized we had to leave for brunch.

“I love you, Y/n.”

Who wants more Big Giant AU? I guess the first thing I should say is that the Big Giant AU now officially has an Actual Title and 45k words, so I threw together a banner for it -- the banner, the title reveal, and this Sunday's six sentences are behind the jump! (Still have no idea when this WIP will be done though, so... uhhh... sorry?)

First, for the big reveal: the Big Giant AU (AKA KHIX, AKA King Henry IX)'s title is... Facing Tempests! And yes, I lifted the title directly from the lyrics of the song I'd previously designated as the theme for said AU. Here's my lil' banner, which you'll see again in approximately (indistinguishable mumble) when I finally start posting this sucker. I'm gonna keep using #wip: khix as a tag on Tumblr for fic meme purposes, just to keep things organized. 🤣

When Alex was in seventh grade, he joined an intramural soccer team coached by the dads of two of his classmates. He played right midfielder for the first half of the season, and then the kid that the coaches had routinely put in as striker got the flu and had to sit out for two weeks, so they pulled Alex in as a substitute striker in the interim. Alex scored so many goals during that two-week period that the coaches made him the striker permanently. The next Saturday after the game, while all the players’ parents were still catching up, McKinleigh Slater, who played left wing, took Alex by the hand, then led him behind the equipment shed and kissed him. Alex has kissed his fair share of people between seventh grade and now. He’s had all manner of kisses: good and bad, soft and hungry, lingering, awkward, and sloppy, kisses that led to relationships and kisses that led to one-night stands, kisses in bathrooms and bedrooms and cars, kisses that have meant absolutely nothing... and kisses that have absolutely flipped his world on its axis.

Hello! Can you share some hcs/tidbits of Patrochilles that you choose not to show through the chapters of Disasters!AU? I'd love to see how you imagined them to be outside the picture😁 thank you, and have a nice day!!

Thank you so much for this ask!! I have a lot of headcanons for these two but after writing close to 150k words for this fic I'm not sure there are many I haven’t shared 😅 But there's a few that come to mind (mostly fluffy bc I love them):

- Every year Achilles makes a cake for Patroclus’s birthday. Every year, he fucks it up somehow. Either the frosting isn't right, or it doesn't cook all the way, or it deflates, or he forgets to get one ingredient or other. He has many talents but baking isn't one of them 🤣 And it's almost become kind of a tradition now so Achilles is always looking forward to Patroclus' reaction when he presents him his little fucked up cake. 

- They once tried to build a boat/raft from scraps and bits of wood they found in the garage and the fields. They started the project because a)they were bored, and b) Ajax told them that the Spercheios river goes all the way down to Athens (it doesn't). It took them two weeks to finish it and gather provisions etc for their voyage. They took it to the creek. It sank. Achilles cried for hours. It was wild

- I think this is obvious from the fic but as well as they get on with each other they do bicker quite a lot. Achilles can be deeply annoying and/or set in his ways, and Patroclus is also stubborn, in his own way. He is sometimes hesitant to try new things or might get a little sad and withdrawn or completely tune Achilles out, and Achilles just wants to shake him LOL. Also growing up Patroclus had to sometimes act as Achilles' impulse control, like "no we can't set this random pile of dried leaves by the side of the road on fire" or "no we won't ride to the beach at 3am on a winter Tuesday, we have class tomorrow" etc etc, but more often than not he is following Achilles in whatever dumb thing he's made up his mind to do, and then they bicker when it all goes south instead 🙃

- While they were in Phthia, they actually slept together almost every night whenever Peleus wasn't home. It wasn't romantic or anything at first, they just spent so much time together and in each other’s rooms that it didn't make sense to separate for sleep. Or sometimes they'd just fall asleep while talking/reading/watching films etc. Also like, with no parents or other caretakers in sight they were essentially each other’s source of comfort and affection and sometimes you just want to cuddle up with your bestie under a blanket and not do much else. ALSO also this isn't surprising bc the story deals quite a bit with toxic masculinity and internalised homophobia and how that affects Pat and Achilles, but I have a lot of thoughts about how the pressure to "man up" and "be tough" as they grew up really started to wear on them (especially Achilles), bc like what's wrong with crying or showing emotion or hugging your best friend or holding his hand or kissing him on the cheek! What's wrong with being soft and tender with the people you care about, what's wrong with any of it. So being able to come back home and have their safe space to vent and cry and be goofy and cuddle and not have to act a certain way around each other was such a lifesaver for them.

[Also I think their physical intimacy is something that's universal across every possible iteration of Patrochilles out there lol they're just super comfortable touching and hugging and kissing etc and I simply love how it might not even have sexual connotations a lot of the time, it's just something they do. They just like to glomp]

- I think this has been mentioned in the fic at some point, but Achilles often composes incredibly silly songs on the guitar or changes the lyrics to popular songs to tease Patroclus and Laika with. Often extremely early in the morning.

- Achilles has taught himself to knit and crochet as a result of a past hyperfixation over the span of a summer. The bright orange scarf he wears in Chapter 20 is one of his own creations, and Patroclus literally loves that thing. He teases him about it all the time. Achilles has made a few wonky beanies and mittens for Patroclus as well while he was practicing, they're very stylish (NOT lmao)

I’m always inspired by other people’s work whenever I read because I’m actually quite picky on what I read and have a super short attention span so if a fic gets my attention I’m always taking mental notes on how the author got my attention and enjoyment and I try to do it in my own writing. Honestly no, writing is when I feel my most confident so it’s just pure fun for me.

Oh I love this question because music really drives my work and is a need besides caffeine for me to write ☺️ I’m currently going in between my Luminara and Barriss story and the sequel story to The Padawans and where I’m in in both stories, I’m having to really delve into Barriss’s depression and internal pain and even Luminara’s I may add so I listen to the song “Birds” by Audrey Morgan. I guarantee you that you will think of Barriss Offee and/or Luminara Unduli when you hear that song and/or read the lyrics.

💛- Do you ever alter, highlight, or de-empathize certain canonical traits in a character? If so, why and describe how.

I definitely do more highlighting on Luminara and Barriss’s positive canonical traits (I.e. their compassion, their intelligence, etc.) because they receives so much slander from the Star Wars fandom that it’s partially why I started writing fic in the first place, because I want to chip away at that negativity.

🤍- What’s a fanfic scenario or idea you’d like someone else to write so you can read it?

I’d love to see someone tackle any of these ideas I have not conquered yet but would love to see someone’s interpretation of it.

Hi! I have just see Jk tracklist and I wanted to share my op -

First: I don't understand why, only because I like Jk as an artist and person, I have to accept blindly every single thing he does. I have my ideas and morals and I apply them consistently. I like seven, I don't like 3D. I am not a prude, simply I find that 3D it's explicit in a dirty way. For example.

So:

• I don't have problems with not writing your lyrics but I'm a little disappointed that in his first album there isn't even 1 or 2 Jk credits. Yes he surely approved and choose carefully but it's not the same thing to really write them, we can't read the lyrics and be like "that's what he think" because we can't be sure that he specifically approved that phrase that we are "analyzing". Meybe that was the only phrase that he doesn't like lol.

• I know he is working hard and I respect him for that, I'm just sorry he is working at something that is not what in my op a lot of fan were expecting

• I think that all those songs will be more the 'no deep meaning' songs, again, nothing wrong with it. But when you are the frontman of a band famous for the deep meaning of their songs people have expectations. So for me the problem is that I and other fans wish to have from bts members the meanings, the ideas, the relatable lyrics, the personal style not songs given by random people. So I personally understand who is disappointed and find it valid.

Still I respect his work.

• note: tae doesn't wrote his lyrics too, but in his case Idk if he received the songs or if the songs were made for him, that is a little big difference.

Hi anon. Ah, it seems as if you have entered today’s realm of stan culture where you are an anti unless you like every single thing an artist puts out and every single thing they do. That applies to all artists with huge fanbases not only limited to kpop. I’m talking Taylor Swift all other artists fans are moving the same way these days. There is no room for healthy discourse. You are either in or out. I also didn’t like 3D and I still don’t. Do I think that Jungkook knew the sexual innuendos in English that all the y/ns projected onto him? Hell no 🤣 tbh I didn’t know what “champagne confetti” was either and I wish I still didn’t know.

I’m a little disappointed too, but also not really and not surprised. We know Jungkook was having some sort of writers block/burn out around the time FACE was happening and some time after when Jimin was still busy. If it took 10 months to produce Jimin’s album and JK hadn’t even started working in March, then there was no way that he had anything to bring to the table for his album. I really wonder if they were all contractually obligated to release an album (except Jin) before MS. I wouldn’t be surprised if they did, and that would also explain the involvement of western producers and 🛴 grubby hands in everything.

I agree that we can’t project a bunch of deep meanings into these songs considering they were given to JK. Yes, he probably picked through his options, but it’s comparing apples and oranges when his other option would have been songs he personally wrote. And no, not every song written by someone is about their personal life, but songs not written by the artist definitely are not either.

I’m not fully convinced that JK wants to be working this hard tbh. He loves being on stage, but with some of his latest performances, his energy is different. I don’t know how to explain it, but those that can see it, see it.

I understand the disappointment, I do. But to be fair, the rap line have always been the brains behind BTS songs. Not Jungkook. Jungkook has written some great meaningful songs like Magic Shop but the majority have been by RM, Suga, and Hobi. So I am okay with departing that identity from BTS and JK as a solo artist.

True that Tae didn’t write his songs either but that didn’t seem to ruffle as many feathers. I think the fandom has always put a huge weight on Jungkook’s shoulders to be that “golden” maknae that the title has been bestowed on him. He supposed to be able to do it all and do it perfectly in the fandom’s eyes, in kpoppies eyes, in his country’s eyes. I’m glad he is letting some of that pressure go even if this is not the direction that I wanted him to take. I take comfort in knowing that he has people like Jimin to ground him and always remind him of home.

all you really need to know about moon song verse is:

it’s based on phoebe bridgers song ‘moon song’, or even more specifically the lyrics ‘if i could give you the moon, i would give you the moon/you are sick, you’re married and you might be dying/ but you’re holding me like water in your hands’ which is such a devastating sequence of lyrics

but more importantly it’s max and daniel being super stubborn with each other and learning if they just talked honestly with each other the fic would’ve been over in the first chapter. but they don’t so it takes max getting married, then divorced, then daniel getting a kid for them to realise talking can actually be quite helpful.

“I’m divorced now.” Max states plainly, like Daniel doesn’t know. He definitely didn’t get multiple texts from people linking a news article on his divorce.
