THE UNWANTED SACRIFICE - WIP INTRO
Fastyma's life was all in preparation for one moment: her death. From the day she was born, she was marked to become one of the yearly sacrifices to the all-powerful dragon, Tharzalia. When she was between 16 and 20, on a year where the Central Region was expected to provide their sacrifice, Fastyma would die by Tharzalia's hand so the kingdom can be safe from her wrath for another year.
But, Fastyma's sacrifice does not go to plan. The kingdom once again finds itself in peril, and worst of all, Fastyma doesn't know why. All she knows is that her duty is to die for the kingdom, and Fastyma will do anything to make sure that comes to fruition.
After all, what does she have to live for, anyway?
~~~
FEATURES:
A protagonist who just really wants to be eaten by the dragon
An obnoxious bard who makes everything difficult for everyone
Gods shenanigans
Fellas, is it gay to teach the doomed girl magic?
No one knows what the royal family is up to, honestly
Why does everyone want to go to the Northern Ranges??????
~~~
This is the new WIP I'm currently drafting while doing final big edits for Ghosts of the Steel Road! Feel free to ask me anything about it at any time. Not sure when I'll exactly post snippets of it but I do plan to at some point, as long as I'm happy with the writing.

Hello, World!
Hey y'all! I'm Coz (or Void) and it's about time I make an intro post :)
I've been lurking about the writing/whump communities for years now so... What changed? I finally feel like I've posted and engaged enough to warrant an intro haha. I'd really like to follow even more writers to keep myself on the writing train.
I mostly write original content with above average suffering (hello whump community), but I do like writing stuff set in existing stories (see: Vigilante). I also reblog plenty of stuff ))
My pinned has most of my WIPs—nothing truly complete by my standard, but there's a bit for each. My most recent WIP is Sticks and Stones, but I'll be working on Carrie and Willow sometime soon... eventually...
Feel free to send me asks! I'm down to talk about tropes or share fun facts or a secret third thing.
Hope to see y'all around ))

writeblr resurrection (mind the gap, i'm still filling the grave back in)
about rhyaxxyn…
❂ my name is rhyannyn (ree--uh--nihn), but i go by rhys or rhyn
❂ she/her
❂ 21. last time i was here, i was totally 19 (maybe?)--and now I can do adult things??
❂ infp/infj - t  |   leo sun... i don't know what that means anymore, but i am ambitious to an awful extent, and creative to the point i feel like i'm dragging ideas around by their throats 24/7
❂ of native american and polish ethnicity. unfortunately i didn't grow up very connected to my native american culture so i don't claim it in my books though i do include aspects here and there (just little things i remember my dad telling me as a kid), but a lot of my polish heritage shines through in my writing.
❂ i work customer service and it drains me--but i love all my coworkers and would do anything for them
❂ i'm pretty sure when i wrote my last writeblr intro i said i love mac and cheese. things have changed for the worse and now i'm very allergic to dairy. tragic, i know.
❂ per usual, my little mentally ill bones give my writing inherent spice
❂ i have a partner (everyone clap), and he has thankfully made me realize how toxic some of the relationships i used to write are :D so many of the couples you may have seen if you've been following me for a while are OUT. but you know what's in? my sweet meow-meow boys. just you wait.
what do i write?
❂ many of my works are religiously inspired or have religious themes. yes i used to be catholic. yes it sucked. now i tear down those systems which took advantage of me in my works.
❂ i still don't write yucky relationship dynamics, especially now that i realized that I DID. but, i do write women who stand up for themselves, i write girls who discover that they deserve kind lovers, and i write men who aren't incompetent when it comes to the women they love. and being queer and dating a queer person, i write healthy wlw, mlm, and nonbinary inclusive relationships.
❂ i love complex characters. i love main characters who do awful, terrible things that are justified by the outcome. I love antagonists who fight against the protagonist because they've only seen the terrible means. and i love haunted characters who are stuck in cycles of evil which they see no way out of.
❂ in the regards of genre, i still only write fantasy. in variations, of course, but i'm a beast of habit
here's what you came for; the WORKS IN PROGRESS >:)
Tumblr media
In the wake of a god being mysteriously killed, the Nameless War has waged between the gods and humanity for fifty-eight years, killing that which is mortal and immortal, and creating constant battles for territory between the divine Creator military and the human Revolutionists. As hope for future peace between the species wanes, the fate of the war lands in unlikely hands.
Pandora, a goddess, the lost creator, nameless and chained to the Earth because of duty, yet still running from her true power.
Quinn, a god, the skijic and Creator High General, desperate for the memories of a life lost and the familiarity of a purple-eyed goddess.
Natia, a girl, heiress to one of the Republic of Valentulus’s most powerful cities, and slave to the Revolutionist Snake General.
Loyalties whither, fear awakens, and stories collide as the Nameless War reaches its tipping point. It is up to Pandora, Quinn, and Natia, each of them sworn against one another, to challenge the boundaries of their duties—and their pasts. The only thing that might change their opposing fates is the truth, letting the past fly free could very well set the darkness loose.
Infinite Tangents rewrites the definition of divinity, the gods of legends remembered and lost no more than a species without a home. The fight between deities and humanity is made equal, and the fate of the universe unsure.
Tumblr media
Billions of years prior to the events of Infinite Tangents, the planet of Kaleis, and the Kaleidoscope Suns' kingdom is in the peak of its power, guarded by her Divine Majesty Heather and her Phantom Suns. However, in the wake of an attack on the Light God's holy temple, they come face to face with the dark, and the reality that the universe will always call for balance.
Now Heather must navigate the dark, the light, and the truth that good, evil, demonic, and divine may not be so easy to define as she led herself to believe.
All empires must fall, but how much of herself must Heather lose in the process?
Tumblr media
Aita Hunt is a ruinsome, good for nothing orphan. With no one to rely on in Requiem, one of twelve glass Orbises launched into Earth's orbit in the wake of its enigmatic destruction, Aita suddenly finds herself fallen into a world of politics, deception, and magic which has little to no patience for a girl who is changing the world by mistake. Bound to love the man who abandoned her; bound to kill the woman with enough money to buy Aita's assassination--she must be scrappy, and quick-witted, and foolish enough to take any handouts offered to her.
Even those given by her makeshift god and Teller of the Requiem.
Aita has never known her odds to be fair, never known a kind touch since her mother drifted into her eternal sleep, but even if it is a dangerous, powerful man granting her a chance to survive, she'll take it.
And if she must be more ruinsome than her divine masters can take, Aita will learn to pray for forgiveness.
(applause here)
if you've made it this far and would like to watch me struggle and scream into the void and hopefully finish these projects, i'd really love a reblog/comment/follow so i can reach out and follow back. seeing others write and pursue their passions pushes me to pursue my own. plus, i love having new writer friends who enjoy void-screaming too.
well then friends, that's it... sort of. i have plenty more ideas to spout at you all but these works will be my main focus. unfortunately for those of you who followed me in the ancient days and are now watching me claw out of a grave like a disgruntled corpse, i will have to pull a bit of content for Infinite Tangents and the world of The Natural Orders in general. for good reason though, as i've started researching literary agents in the hopes of publishing the first book! yayyyy :')
all of this is very daunting, and horrifying, and so much as looking at my list of agents makes me feel like i wanna throw up--but i do remember and am so thankful for the support of everyone who i so much as came across on the writeblr community. without y'all i wouldn't even be trying, so thank you.
to anyone who does remember me, welcome back to my page and sorry for the metaphorical dust. things will get clean i promise. and to anyone new, intrigued, or even skeptical about the crazy things i come up with, please feel free to follow or question me. though, i don't promise the answers will make much sense either.

writeblr intro
hi all :) my name’s melina or mel (she/her), and i live in adelaide, australia. i’ve been getting back into writing these past months in the hopes of continuing towards my dream of publishing a novel. however i am currently earning a masters in counselling, so my time is torn between that and writing. i am hoping to keep up my motivation by interacting with other fellow readers and writers on this blog :)
i’m currently working on an original modern fantasy wip alongside my fanfics. i’m a huge killing eve fan so have a fanfic for that show in the works. i’m in the process of drafting a stranger things fanfic also. additionally, i get a lot of writing inspiration (and just inspiration in general) from taylor swift. as jake peralta once said, “she makes me feel things.”
reading was my escape as a child, and continues to be my escape when life becomes a bit too much. i hope one day my writing can become someone’s else’s welcomed escape when they need it.

summary
Every small town has a secret. Every person who lives in a small town has a secret. Everyone likes to pretend these secrets don’t exist. However, these secrets emerge sooner or later, whether people want them to or not...
In a rural Australian town, Illiana can’t wait until the day she leaves her hometown. But when she unwillingly becomes involved in a mysterious disappearance and reappearance of an eighteen year old girl, leaving becomes the least of her concerns. Especially when there’s no evidence, the girl can’t remember a thing, and an enigmatic woman, Eris, begins appearing outside Illiana's window almost every night.
Illiana just wants to find out what happens so she can clear her name and return her focus to leaving her town. But then girls continue disappearing, and as Illiana finds herself being drawn more towards Eris, she becomes increasingly drawn to her hometown's past, too, and finds she might be more connected to these disappearances than she thought.

A More Thorough Introductory Post:
Hello, friends, and welcome to our semi-official P&K content blog. I'm @smzeszikorova, and I'm working with @adrielcastlyre on a series of four books, currently titled Pemoki & Kenacia, though that name may be subject to change. We've spent about ten years world-building and character-building. Not an ideal timeline, but I regret nothing. The joy's in the process.
We've laid out the foundations for all four of our books—made the transition from pantsers to planners. The outline's all there, and though there's a few important details to work out, we know what direction we're taking. Phase one's complete. Once I've submitted my thesis (UPDATE: SUCCESS) , we'll be set to hammer out our drafts.
For newcomers:
Pemoki & Kenacia's a bit ambiguous, genre-wise. The closest thing to it's probably hard fantasy. As for our target audience, I'd go with "adult". our POV characters' age range is pretty broad, and their interests and concerns vary accordingly, but they're written with adult readers in mind. I'm cautious to reduce P&K to a string of TikTok tropes. That said, here are some things you can expect to find here:
Multiple protagonists. Our cast is large. We've got approximately 90 named characters in-universe whose appearances in the end product are more or less guaranteed. Granted, most of these aren't central to the plot. But our main cast is on the large side. Each book generally has one to two protagonists; they change from book to book.
Multiple POVs. And to ensure that each character's arc comes to a satisfying conclusion, I switch between points of view somewhat regularly. (My tendency's to head-hop. For college degree reasons, I read a lot of old-timey Russian literature in the vein of Anna Karenina, and it influences my style, but I know head-hopping's a bit of a controversial writing choice these days. Whether we'll try to shift toward a purely omniscient style is currently under debate. Regardless, expect to get to know a lot of characters.)
War and international conflict. Our story's very concerned with the personal struggles of our characters—familial conflict, romance, friendship, betrayal, etc.—but it all takes place within the broader backdrop of these warring countries we've invented. And the war takes center stage often.
Deep worldbuilding. This universe is large—well suited for such a large cast. Currently, it involves five multinational regions, eleven countries, and nineteen cities. With limited space to explore all these places, we highlight what's essential and let the rest inform the narrative in subtler ways.
More reality than fantasy. People who’ve had a look at our works in progress say that we’re pretty grounded in reality for a couple of fantasy writers. All our main characters are human. Magic is a genetically-inherited phenomenon with rules loosely based in science. And while none of our fantasy regions, ethnicities, or religions are meant to be read as directly analogous to any real-world ones, they do draw influence from the real world at times. I’m sure you’ll notice this in the Russian-based languages of the Sitrii Elariny, the English-based language of Kenacia, and the language of Qhiron, which draws from both but perhaps not quite so obviously. In our worldbuilding, we make a point to give our invented nations believable complexity, heterogeneity, and political and economic motivations. We’re not too big on the “This region is inhabited by the stouthearted, down-to-earth Welverpeople who universally prefer farming tools to swords, are warm and inviting to outsiders, practice simple domestic magic, and make for extremely loyal allies” vibe.
Conlang. Fairly self-explanatory. Usually I'll just say, "[Insert sentence here]," Character X said in Pemokese. But now and again, when I feel it enhances the narrative, I'll leave it in my invented language and let readers draw their conclusions about the meaning.
Problematic characters, dark topics, and complex, incomplete redemptions. It's very important to us that we approach our darker topics with caution and sensitivity, but we're not writing Aesop's fables. Don't expect comfortable, obvious answers to the ethical questions we pose. Folks looking for escapism or retributive justice narratives should probably look elsewhere.
Queerness; disability; ethnic, racial, and religious diversity. Our story isn't really about these elements, per se, but our characters come from a variety of backgrounds, both real and invented, and it does inform the story. (We're both white and culturally Christian, and in terms of our relationships with queerness and disability, we'd both make for lousy representation, so we're operating with the understanding that we're gonna need hella beta reading once all this is done.) And on a similar note . . .
We take some unusual liberties with our world. Fake religions (Dzulyan, Kvotyj, etc.) coexist with real ones. And though our languages and cultures are obviously influenced by the real world, they're all explicitly invented. We're not too concerned with making our universe consistent with real-world history, so while we do touch on issues related to queerness, ethnicity, etc., we don't go out of our way to align the experiences of our cast with those of people living within a certain real-world time period. When we decide what scientific knowledge and technology to include, our key is internal consistency. We'll guide you through the rules of this universe as needed, but if at any point you find yourself wondering what time period we're supposed to be in, just know that the answer is "none of the above".
Now, with all that said...
What are you likely to find on this blog?
Updates. If you want to know how P&K's coming along, here's where we'll ramble about the process.
Art or other related side projects.
Requests for beta readers, once we get to that stage.
This blog's a writeblr of sorts, but we won't discuss anything unrelated to P&K here. My coauthor's not very involved with social media in general, and I'm in and out of the writers' community on this site. So if you're here for tag games, community events, etc., @smzeszikorova's where you'll find all that. This blog's essentially a dumping ground for P&K materials. I can't imagine it'll be too effective as a hype builder, but once our books are released, everything we post here will be available for our readers to see. And on the off chance that our books get big (which I'm not counting on, but it'd be pretty cool), those of you who join in the fun now will have special clout. "We were here from the beginning." Do with that what you will.
We take asks! If you're interested in putting our characters in (non-erotic) situations, feel free to send in an art prompt.
As for the books themselves, I've tried to be sparing about plot reveals. (That'll be truer from here on out than it was on my other blog. Current mutuals, I swear I'm not kidding when I say all those art posts, quotes, and snippets I used to post are basically void. That's how much we've changed over the past few months. But the first book's premise remains the same:
As the threat of war looms on the horizon, Catherine Leures, an impoverished Kenacian woman living in the north of Pemoki, enlists in an effort to pull her family from the depths of financial ruin.
(I think I'll hold off on descriptions of the other books for now. They'd be pretty spoilery. But I'll post more thorough blurbs as I start getting these published. We do have titles for the second, third, and fourth books: Fledgling's Descent, Stirrings of a Silent War, and The Fallen Star of Thaeryvon.)
What do I mean when I say everything's changed, then?
I mean the process of filling plot holes, removing extraneous plotlines, and accounting for sensitivity in our characterization has resulted in a good number of our characters' personalities, relationships, and arcs being completely revamped. Lucky you! Aside from knowing the names, national and moral alignments, and general appearances of most of the first book's main cast, you'll be on about the same page as new readers if/when P&K gets published.
Before I go, a couple updates about P&K:
Since I started writing my thesis, my writing style has changed significantly. We've been making stylistic revisions to our original draft. Thankfully for our future editors, our first draft's gotten a lot more concise.
All the canon events are essentially set. The "outline" I did for my thesis is basically one long synopsis. All that's left for our first draft is to fill everything out with dialogue and detail. (Easier said than done, but I'm excited anyway.)
My coauthor and I have been playing with the idea of a character narrator: someone with a personal investment in the story. We're not sure yet, but it's a fun experiment.
If you've gotten this far, thanks so much for reading this incredibly long post.

Story Summary
In post-apocalyptic Crater City, Elijah is attacked by a group of military-grade bots one night, seemingly out of the blue. Once his best friend, Blair, finds out about the attack, he vows to do whatever it takes to avenge Elijah. Whatever it takes. Between the pair’s tumultuous relationship and the dark secrets that lurk around the city, it seems as though there is more to Elijah’s attack than everyone lets on.
Main Characters
Blair (he/him) 23, carjacker "uber" driver. Quit his job as a Computer Hardware Engineer because it was “too boring,” much to his boss’ dismay. Vows to do whatever it takes to avenge his best friend even if that involves getting his hands dirty. Impulsive, charismatic, wears his heart on his sleeve, can be quite vulgar, tends not to take things very seriously. Special ability: can talk someone’s ear off for hours at a time. Quote: “Oh, so you're mad at me because I wanted to avenge my best friend? Excuse me for thinking my best friend’d wanna help me dispose of the body!”
Elijah (he/him) 24, employee at an arcade, electronics store, and a fast food restaurant. After being kicked out of his home at 18, Elijah struggles to make ends meets, and is ultimately threatened to become repurposed after falling into overwhelming debt. Overthinker, blushes easily, non-confrontational, very resourceful, dresses more intimidating than he actually is. Special ability: can drink up to 7 energy drinks in one day. Quote: “Blair, you can't just tell a man—who's clearly out of it—to ‘suck it up’ because the world has already ended!”
Darcy (he/him) 40, mayor of Crater City. Notable for his schemes and cover-ups by media outlets; citizens either love him or hate him. Created specifically for the role to guide humanity out of a second dark age, Darcy will do whatever it takes to fulfill this role, stopping at nothing—or no one. Confident in his success, dramatic, pragmatic, highly intelligent, believes the blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb. Special ability: very convincing. Quote: “Oh, that struck a nerve? Once I take that toy away from you, I’ll scale you and gut you like a fish. Don’t test me, Blair.”
Frasier (he/him) 37, mayor’s receptionist & assistent. Has ties to very important people. Made an irresistible deal with Darcy that would allow Frasier a way to protect those he loves. Recruited due to his complicated ties to Darcy. Affable, chatty yet reserved, unpredictable, great bargainer, does not settle for less. Special ability: can draw out a lot of information from someone he just met. Quote: “Since it’s so difficult for you to wrap your mind around, let me spell it out for you: our relationship is no more than a business transaction. And I’d like to keep it that way, Darcy.”
Melony (she/her) 39, robotics engineer, founder of Second Chance. Once a little girl captivated by the limitless (yet dangerous) possibilities the now-illegal gene-therapy offered, now a renowned scientists who continues her search for solutions for people like her to have a second chance in the ever-evolving, post-apocalyptic world. Determined, wears lab coats for “the aesthetic,” free spirit, has many clones of herself lying around, often forgets there’s a Board of Ethics. Special ability: has found a way to disable her nerves so that she can experiment on herself. Quote: “You interrupted my breakfast this morning, so I’m going to interrupt your board meeting!”
Rose (she/her) 25, designer or perhaps marketing chief of Second Chance. Recruited due to her ties to Melony and her bold, daring ideas. Elijah’s childhood best friend. Spunky, very big personality, huge empath, competitive, risk-taker, has garnered a lot of respect. Special ability: can effectively translate Blair-isms into layman's terms. Quote: “This is a ludicrous idea! Let’s do it.”
...

Introductions are a necessary evil.
Hello! 🙌🏾
You can call me Forte. I'm a Brazilian writer, essayist, and film screenwriter. My work is influenced by the new Latin American fiction of magical realism, post-boom literature, philosophy, and African diaspora culture. I write in Portuguese and English, and in addition to being an aspiring novelist, I’m also a sound technician, activist, and lover of good music.
I started writing as a teenager, mostly short stories. I was in the habit of keeping a journal at that time too—something about being able to write down my feelings helped me cope with them. In high school, I wrote more fanfiction than original fiction because it seemed like an easier and more comfortable genre for me. Fanfic is very forgiving, which made it a lot less intimidating than writing something new from scratch. After high school, I went on to college and got a degree in Film Studies. My focus was screenwriting, but I fell in love with being a boom op (audio technician) during my internships, so when I graduated, I pursued film production instead.
A few years later, I decided I wanted to be a writer again. And now I’m here back on Tumblr, sharing what I can.
This blog will be focused primarily on my two current work-in-progress, NOCT WIP and Saint WIP. They are both young adult novels, though they have different themes, settings, and tones. I plan on posting some snippets/excerpts of each periodically, along with character profiles, behind-the-scenes information, and general updates on how the process is going.
NOCT WIP is a dark academia novel set in a prestigious music conservatory. The story follows a music quartet through their senior year, focusing mainly on their relationship dynamics while also dealing with personal issues such as generational trauma, abuse, mental health problems, and grief.
SAINT WIP is a MM fantasy novel, following two young men in a city burning with revolutionary fervor. The story focuses heavily on political shenanigans, the relationship between class and power, and the struggle of identity and self-discovery. Demons, anarchy, and violence are woven throughout this one.
Both books are currently in early drafts, so please bear with me if I post anything unfinished or rough around the edges! But hopefully you'll enjoy reading what I've written so far.
I also write poetry, flash fiction and reviews on (rare) occasion. If you're interested in getting in touch, feel free to send me a message. I'm open to collaborations and commissions too, so let's talk!

Hello! Welcome to the blog. This is an updated intro. I've been here for a minute, just wanted to tidy things up.
I am Wallace, but I also like Wally and Lace just as much (and I generally refer to myself as Lace), so feel free to pick your preference! They/Them or He/Him pronouns, in that order.
This is my writing sideblog. My main blog is over at @lacependragon! I will follow, like, comment on posts, and send asks from there, but I post my writing here and I reblog writing stuff to this blog.
I'm a queer, autistic author with chronic illness/pain and a whole lot of wips. I'm Canadian. I've been writing over half my life (and when you're a couple years shy of 30, that's not bad!) and I was reasonably popular as a fanfic author (RWBY fics mostly), something I've largely stopped doing as of September, 2021.
I'm very passionate. Which is to say I have a Lot(TM) of opinions. And I refuse to take personality tests even if I love them for characters.
Also I really love writing programs. I don't think you need them to be a good author, whatsoever, but god I love them so much.
My Writing
I write basically two things: big ass, character driven, SFF series with tightly woven plots & relationships, plus ridiculous amounts of lore and worldbuilding; and romance novels. That's it. I'm pretty sure I'm better at the latter, which I think is cool.
Also: I have a lots of wips. I cycle between them regularly but I always come back around to the others eventually.
I can sum up my writing as such:
Mostly SFF with a focus on fantasy and scifantasy
Character focused and driven
Often relationship driven - family, friendship, romance, etc.
Almost all of my protagonists are they/them NBs or some other flavour of trans
Mainly queer, disabled, neurodivergent characters
Queer and trans focused romances, also polycules
Found family, slow burn romance, platonic bonds, redemption arcs, overcoming adversity & trauma
Gray morality and tough decisions
Intricate world-building, in-depth magic systems, lots of fantasy creatures, and details on how these things interact with everyday and overarching life
Puns. A lot of puns.
A lot of silly combo words I use as a shortcut to avoid conlanging unnecessarily (though I do LOVE a good conlang)
Listen there's a lot of apocalypses in my WIPs. And overcoming them. It's a theme. It's because of the state of the world. Roll with it.
The Blog
What can you expect on this blog?
Character intros, WIP intros, worldbuilding posts, magic building posts, lore posts, and more
Lots of rambling posts about my WIPs, in general, and progress updates as I draft them
Screenshots and discussions of writing programs, including Scrivener, Word, Excel, Plottr, Aeon Timeline, Scapple, Powerpoint, Illustrator (for maps), Clip Studio Paint (for maps), Photoshop (for nonsense), and Notepad++
Snippets and chapters from various drafts of various WIPs
Inspiration posts for various WIPs
Reblogs of other writeblrs I think are great
Tips, tricks, and advice I picked up from my own experiences as a writer
Rambles about writing, the universe, and my process

THE METAHUMAN INITIATIVE Book One: Descent
Series Overview Urban fantasy, mystery/thriller, suspense, adult. Long as fuck.
Nat Carter is drawn to Veda City, a place built to uncover the secrets of superpowers in Metahumans, after the violent and mysterious death of their family. Once there, they set out to uncover who killed their family, why, and how it boosted Nat's own powers, only to realize that the conspiracy is far deeper than they ever imagined. And, somehow, Nat might be at the centre of it all.

the last one sucked so here’s a new introduction that doesn’t really cover everything
Hello, I’m Quisyop or… whatever else my URL in due time will be. I’m a minor, I’ve loved writing for a long time (still uncomfortable with the quality status) and use any pronouns! I love learning news things and all people are welcome (excluding bigots and the such). Uhhhhh… I’m a Gemini, if you care about that sort of things. My favorite color is blue! Yada yada
WIPs in under the cut
I’m in a strange position with my wips as I sorta let them go along as I write them, which really determines the plot and whether or not it sticks with my brain.
My strange brain child thing is unlikely to become an actual story (more a character that I imagine occasionally doing insane shit) is:
Herschel Brown, a socially inept detective who’s many accomplishments are balanced by his many fuck-ups. He’s joined by Mary Sebastian, a lesbian biker lady who’s kinder than she seems, and Theodore Lux, the old man police captain who keeps the two of them in check. It’s mystery, it’s comedy, it’s found family, it’s weird!
My other WIPs are less defined, as I’ve lost interest in one and have started another recently.
Sector 43-5B is a working title, and in general, a working idea. I plan on developing it more over October (hopefully writing it for NaNoWriMo) and it’s about a crew of 4 people stuck in a random part of the ocean, recording data, fixing things up, and waiting. It’s isolated, it’s boring, it’s slightly skin crawling, and sorta confusing, as they’re seemingly there for no reason at all. But hey- it’s good enough pay for basically nothing, so who cares about the strange malfunctions in technology, a large absence of small fish, or the creeping fear one gets when sitting in observation room. It’s horror, it’s mystery, and it’s something I don’t know crap about, so please shoot me up if you know stuff about deep sea travel or writing a (form of?) cosmic horror in general.
And uhhhh. There’s stuff I’ve sorta left behind, and ideas floating about, but that’s about it.
@writer-of-the-void is my blog that I (hopefully) will post writing about? I said I would last time and just…. Didn’t at all.
Thanks!

Introduction / Rules
Hello! Call me Uni or Aether. I made this world out of interest for mythology and astrology. I enjoy the concept of Earth and as well the other planets. This is also a heavily reconned project that is hopefully the end of constantly reconning. I have DID so I often put in the system's input as well for this project. It's a whole collaborative project essentially. I wish to be anonymous other than the important note of me having DID. So that my project is more shined upon than who I am. To whoever reads this, thank you. I hope you won't mind this journey. ---------------------------------- I do have rules onto this blog for the sake of people's comfort. 1. No NSFW. In order to make this blog for both minors and adults, please don't mention NSFW in the blogs and whatnot. 2. No Roleplaying. This isn't a roleplaying page. Sure, they'll be some blogs on ask a character but that's not exactly roleplaying. 3. Please ping me into posts that involve any sign of oc work or fan art! I'd love to see it. 4. More rules will be updated as seen fit.

An introduction to your author (aka yours truly) (yes, again)
Hello everyone !
Nothing new under the sun- I just decided, after much thoughts, that switching my main and secondary blog would be easier moving forward. The writeblog is now the main one, retitled L’antre des Merveilles for the occasion, and all the reblogs will be done on @swift-perseides !
I won’t be deleting all the reblogs that were already done here (24k posts, I’m not crazy-), but I will be deleting the posts already done on the sideblog to repost them here, no panic- and everything writeblr-related will continue here ! (People will finaly be able to send asks, yeheeee)
I will be handling all the modifications tonight, but in the meantime, enjoy the repost of my writer intro~!
XxX
Hello everyone!
About me:
I’m Maz, a trans man writer, who decided to finally jump the shark and share with other fellow writers and people in general the world I’ve created and wish to publish one day!
I mainly write fantasy stories filled with drama and angst before the happy ending (the joy of being a big softie who always NEEDS a happy ending AND a lover of whump), with magic oddly terrifying, focus on relationships (romance yes, but platonic, friendship, family, and more !) court intrigues, adventures, and families found in the most unlikely of places- all of that queer (in general, so long as I haven’t say it EXPLICITELY, just assume all my characters are queer :”D)
I have been on Tumblr for a while, but I’d love to meet new friends and people to discuss with here! ^u^
I’ll be posting wips, drabbles, maybe some longer texts, and probably lots of worldbuilding stuff (bc I love those too much lmao).
My ask box is ALWAYS open for asks of any kinds (questions on characters, in general, worldbuilding or other advice, etc- as long as everybody is respectful), tag games, ask-games, and any events that might happen in the writeblr community any day of the week ! Coming to talk about your OCs or work is okay as well too!
Probably important to note- English isn’t my main language, and with school kicking in I might not be active 24h/24 or everyday, but I’ll do my best!
My reblog blog: https://www.tumblr.com/swift-perseides
About my work :
- Breaking the Wheel- The Chronicles of Havren (coming-of-age series, queer main characters and representation, magic is a dangerous thing, found family, deals with hard topics such as abusive familes and abusive dynamics, cycle of abuse, torture, grief)
Did anybody ever wondered, in our beloved stories of worlds ravaged by epic wars between monstruous, terrifying beings against mighty and glorious heroes, what might be taking place away from the battlefield ?
On the continent of Havren, it’s what the latest generation of the 10 royal families of the realm are about to find out: their parents bound by the ancestral Serment of Ashaara to defeat the apocalyptic threat of the Veil, it’s to the faraway queendom of Litespes, reputed as the most secure land on the continent by its sovereign, that children and teens are send to grow up in complete safety- whether they want it or not, not a matter for them to decide.
King Consort, Princess, Knight and Healer respectively, Kazan, Aboaleyne, Becca and Llyr might have never set a foot on the battlefield, Life is far from having been kind to them either- to be honest, at the rate things are going, life isn’t going to last that long for them anyway before they let their souls destroyed by their own demons.
But what to make of it, when Fate throw the whole game upside down, and put those 4 adults, with nothing in common than parenthood, to meet...alongside the royal heirs, as lost, wounded and abandonned than them? Can adults and children let the past keep on carrying on their life, or will these years away from their realms give a far more greater solace to such uncanny group than any of them would have ever anticipated?
The end of an era is near for Havren- but the massive changes that will bring this new dawn might not come from the glorious deeds of our warriors monarchs like we’re all anticipating...
I suppose that’s it! I hope you all have a good day ! ouo/

There was nothing anywhere where blackness and horror and silence and bones
Tumblr media
— About
My name is Marion, but I also have started to use 'Morri' as a pen name for my writing. I am twenty-one. I fall on the acearo spectrum. I identify as both genderqueer and nonbinary, using they/them pronouns; I have certain days I'm fine with others, but they/them are my current preferred. I am also polyamorous with three partners currently. I am a pagan and a knowledgeable witch, I practice with most pantheons and spirits.
I write primarily fantasy, but I may stray occasionally to other categories. My favorite theme and recurring pattern you will see across all my projects is the matter of ethics vs morals. I like to write every character to be morally grey, so they are human as possible; all my characters will make mistakes and take regrettable actions; it is up to the reader to determine who is the antagonist and protagonist in all my works. Also, all of my characters, for the most part, are queer and diverse in ethnicities.
I will also write on sensitive and dark matters. I touch on trauma, in detail, and the healing process of it. I tag and add the proper warnings to my writing as I can. but I know the details of certain topics are not appealing to some people, so this is my warning to you on what you will find within my writing.
Things you will not find in my writing are cishet main characters. I am not one, so I do not write them a great deal. I also am anti-colonialism, pro-choice, and an activist for the oppressed.
You will find I have no issue with you as long as you respect others, their choices, and their freedom. If you are someone who uses authority to berate and humiliate others if you are someone who finds joy in hurting others, if you disagree or hate anything you have read so far about me, then this is not the place for you. I will and always have promoted a safe space for people to be who they are, and I will fight, tooth and nail, to ensure people are comfortable and safe in a world where some wish to see them dead or worse.

— Wips
I tag everything accordingly. I like organization.
So you be able to find anything, or filter anything accordingly.
I use a 'personal' tag for anything that isn't writing.
I use a 'ramblings of a madman' for when i go on rants or make shitposts.
I will use a 'mutual' tag for when I reblog or boost posts made by others on here.
I have a 'wip intro' or 'character intro' for finding anything on my wips.
There is a 'world-building' tag for finding lore on any and all of my wips.
There will be a 'tag' tag for when I am tagged in games or posts.
There is an 'Morri answers' tag for when I respond to asks in my inbox.
I will use proper tags such as 'Morri's collection' to find all my wip intros under. There will be tags for each wip subgroup to find info on those.
A HERO TO A VILLAIN: follows a group of noble rejects who entered high society, trying to subtly change things from the inside. And then you get a group of slaves who basically kick the door wide open and start revolutionizing on the outside. [wip count: 2]
I have quite a few projects I work on and off with. Since there are many I have broken them into thirteen subgroups.
BURN TOGETHER: follows a group of dragons who get sick of being persecuted and bullied by humans. They decide to group up and bully the humans back. And when they become the greatest war criminals the world has ever seen, the humans learn to shut the fuck up and keep their stupid opinions to themselves. But occasionally the gang has to come around and knock a few heads together to keep the humans behaving. [wip count: 1]
FROM EDEN: follows the generational history of witchcraft in Raeryn. The foundation of the Witching Community, its impact on the world and other nations. [wip count: 18]
I'D RATHER WATCH MY KINGDOM FALL: follows that Cuhlt is the longest-standing kingdom in Raeryn, behind the Witching Community. How have they not crumbled, had other kingdoms build over them? It's simple. They know how to choose what king sits on the throne, and how to secure power so no one will challenge them. [wip count 1]
IT'S ANCIENT HISTORY: follows several events that tie into 'Burn Together'. These stories all stand alone at first glance, but you will see reoccurring themes and faces across them all and you realize how they tie together. All of these events will lead to a current revisit to 'Burn Together', since some generations never learn from history. [wip count: 6]
KEEP YOU JUDGEMENT: follows the consequences of 'Monsters From The Shadows'. A few gods almost destroy the world, and when it isn't a few religious fanatics are born. These said fanatics soon lose sight of their original goal and purpose, lose themself in power. A lot of people pay the price for that. And it's only recently a small handful starts to right the past wrongs. [wip count: 6]
LEAVE ALL YOUR LONGING BEHIND: This is a novel I created from one of my partner's writing, and her world she creates in. It follows the story of a young man who has unlearn everything he's been taught to learn what freedom truly is. [wip count: 1]
MONSTERS FROM THE SHADOWS: follows the power vacuum with the gods. Someone wants power, someone has it. They take, and take, and take to their own satisfaction. No one cares who is hurt. And they have to deal with the consequences of their actions when they start to drag mortals into their affairs. [wip count: 4]
NO LONGER ALONE: follows how piracy developed and exists within Viogia. It follows the stories of different individuals, how they formed their crews and how their paths have crossed. [wip count: 10]
THE DEVIL YOU FORGOT: follows a pantheon of gods who abuse their authority and privileges against their servants. When those individuals finally stand up and say no more they're kicked from the heavens, and they decide to get vengeance. Along the way they gain some allies, face hardships, and who knows, maybe they're successful. [wip count: 2]
THE SYNDICATE: follows how the crime syndicate came into existence. It follows the stories of selected characters and/or groups on how they got involved in the families. [wip count: 12]
THERE'S BLOOD IN THE WATER: follows why there is so much bad blood between the Heavens and Ghosts. It follows a few generations who try to make amends, despite errors and flaws of their ancestors. [wip count: 9]
— Taglists
WHO I WAS OR WHO I AM: follows a small group of individuals, all running from their own problems. Things lead to one another, they agree to stick together for survival. As the years go by, they slowly forget what they're all running from, they become employed by an emperor, and they soon take in another adventuring groups... And they're reminded of the things they're still running from when an old face from the past comes knocking. And before they all know it, they're all dragged into events that threaten a third god war. Can they stop it, or will they let it happen... Who knows. [wip count: 7]
I do have a writing server. I post there a lot as I work. If you wish to join to check in on progress, since I lack on posting here sometime, I will tie the link into this post for you.
Since there are many projects here I will have several different taglists.
I will have a general taglist for those who are interested in looking at anything I post. I will only tag this list in wip intros, so you can get a feel for each project and not be bothered by everything.
I will have taglists for each subgroup. So if you are interested in more than one project in a subgroup you can be added to this taglist.
There will be a taglist for individual projects. So if there is only or two or a small handful of projects you're interested in, you would only be tagged in the proper projects.
I will have a taglist for everything. If you want to get notified about everything I post, this will be the taglist for you.
If you wish to be added to a taglist you can go about it any way you wish. DM me. Send in an ask. Comment on a post. Put in the tags of a reblog. Any way you feel like doing, in which I'll see it.

Intro:
Tumblr media
Zane || 16 || male and gn x reader's
Tumblr media
Hi!! I'm not new to writing at all but decided to make an account solely for idv writing. I'll only be writing for male and gender neutral reader's. As well as only male characters as of now, that might change in the future but I can't promise anything.
I am by no means a professional and I took a big break from writing so I can't say that's it's amazing but I try my best. My native language is not English, I am born and raised in Puerto Rico. If there are any mistakes please let me know and I'll fix them as soon as I can.
Updates might be slow or inconsistent as I am in 11th grade but I'll be doing what i can. I want my writing to improve for college so thats why I made these two writing accounts.
My previous writing account was @virtual-luvr and I'll probably be coming back to that account but won't be posting my idv content on there. Requests and commissions are closed until I publish at least a bit of my writing and perhaps get feedback. Im happy to be back to writing and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I love doing it <3

Basic Blog Information & Posting
Hello folks! Welcome to my multi-fandom blog, with the main focus being writing & learning about different cultures. I’m somewhat new to this side of Tumblr and excited to jump into things. I’ve had this blog for a year or two and have decided to get back into writing. This will be temporary to see if I like having one blog for everything, or a separate blog for my writing. Right now I’m mashing everything together! Posts will be tagged accordingly.
Mainly I will be posting fandom related things and anything that interests me. I blog about anime, video games, k-dramas, k-pop, art, writing tips and anything else. (Check out my info tag here.) I am also in the process of getting back into icon making.
                                             ════ ⋆✧⋆ ════
A little about me!
Jess // 25 years old  // She/Her (They/them is acceptable.)
7 years of writing experiencing the roleplaying & fanfic side of tumblr.
I’ve only recently taken my writing seriously the last 2 ½ years.
Writing is still a hobby and something that brings me joy. I’m still in the process of learning how to properly write & broaden my vocabulary.
I’m an introvert and very shy, however, I do love chatting to people when the change arrives. My dms are open and hopefully we can become friends!
                                               ════ ⋆✧⋆ ════
Writing & Future Projects
Currently I write short stories and will post them when I’m feeling confident. I usually focus on world building, creating characters and overall figuring out how my characters personality will be like. All of my characters have some type of struggle that they’re working through. Most of my characters have disabilities, tragic loss, emotional struggles, and becoming a better/healthier person. I love developing characters with a deeper meaning and seeing how they will overcome their own struggles. I write about their journey and connections with others. Usually all my characters are connected in some way.
I’ll admit that I do daily chats with myself about my original characters, and yes I do post them. Feel free to read or comment. They’re usually side notes for myself & I just love talking about my characters.
Thanks for reading & checking out my blog.
