Bones

 in the current era of the world large skeleton of leviathan sizes dragons are scattered throughout the lands. the largest of these skeletons are found in the ocean making large islands made of bones.  the way these bones are treated by the local population vary, depending on the attitude of the locals towards dragons and their kin. in the region of ellora and casterfoster there are no bones, not because dragons did not die there but became the bones where broken apart and made into object centuries ago.  it the south in agoura there is a particular large skeleton that houses a large city called Bones. the city both reveres the bones but also mine them for resources.  in the island chain of koket, there is a large collection of these  sometimes called the boneyard (because i don't need to be expected to be original). there are roughly five giant dragon skeletons in the area. Dragons are sacred creatures to the islanders, so they do not want to disturb the skeletons by mining them for resources. in fact they respect, fear and do not go near the bones most of the time. many festivals are held celebrating the peoples relationship to the bone yard as   they "burry" their dead on these skeletons. by giving the bodies of the deceased and soon to be deceased  to the ferry men who would ferry them to the islands where the ferry men will ritually place the bodies there. constantly growing the islands of bones.

#mp answers #i've been trying so hard not to be annoying to my bnha friends but if you will allow me to push this for this ask let me say 🙏 #if you're afraid of the episode count for one piece the manga is a lot quicker read while being just as enjoyable because the art style is #an actual delight. its great its fantastic im absolutely in love with it #the series is soooo good and i know luffy can seem unappealing to people before they start but he's just SUCH a great character & continues #to be even now. the story is SO GOOD the characters are SO GOOD... theres so much lore and world building that its insane #if you read the manga we get 'cover stories' on what's going on with previous characters to see what theyre up to even though we moved on #from where we left them. a lot of these cover stories blend into the main story so well its just seamless #there's one where we get introduced to a character we dont see hundreds of episodes into the anime and they show up like; during the second #saga. the series is about traveling to other islands and every single arc has been tied to another in some way or form that shows up later #even if its sagas and sagas later- it still becomes relevant again!! it's a huge ongoing story and there isnt a single arc that feels like #it has no purpose (sans filler in the anime-but even then!! some filler arcs are really entertaining!) #it's emotional! its sad! its downright stupid and silly but GOD... you can feel the love that oda put into this series and his characters #and the emotions in the expressions and the messages the story gives off it just makes me UEUHGHHAHGHH!!! #it's all about the adventure and the romance of it all! its about the freedom it brings and bringing freedom to others! #its a series where treasure should be a focus given its pirates and the its a giant treasure hunt for the one piece and yet! and yet so man #of the characters treasures are things that are not coins and gems but people and promises and family and and #im going to EXPLODE i love one piece

Fun fact: Tinker's goggles are made of the undersides of 2 strawberry jam jars. One of the lids is used to secure the sail! The sail itself is also made out of an old bed sheet.

i know it's not the way the game was formatted but it would have been so cool to see the characters in danganronpa get more disheveled and tired as the game went on

like the idea that they started with a closet of identical outfits but as time goes on they neglect appearance and start to forgo ties/ jackets, haircuts, little things to show the passage of time and the growing distress

#like if i was in a situation where i ended up on an island with 5 other people after a series of murders i wouldnt keep my shirt tucked #id probably cut my hair and walk around my bra #and probably stop washing my hair #itd be cool as well to see which characters would try to keep up a modicum of presentation for longer and which ones give in quicker #bc when you get closer to a group of people you care less about ur outward appearance right #and on top of that if ur on a murder island youre gonna start caring way less about how ur perceived #thinking of it as a kind of world building i guess #idk #danganronpa

I remember someone in the warrior cats fandom saying that instead of Bloodclan members using dog claws to reinforce their claws, they should use Eagle talons instead considering that they are much sharper and deadiler than regular dog claws could be and now I can't help but think of the 2bt2 wasteland where some of the most seasoned vets there use reinforced talons, making them that much deadlier than your average rouge.

Okay so Avatar shrines are the exception. Still wild. Aang having weird gender feels after becoming & being possessed by a strong avatar lady is my headcanon now!

I know I’m overthinking it, but couldn’t they just make or find a small mobile avatar shrine & take it with them everywhere?? I mean we see something like that in Zuko’s ship in his room. 👀 I mean I’d rather see Aang figure out his power on his own & with his friends, but I figure I would bring that up again. Just carry around an emergency fuck you button basically. Lmao

not to beat a dead horse bc I know I've said this a thousand times already but totk sucked. there was nothing to work with after it ended. by this time in botw content circles it was ramping UP. it went for YEARS with elaborate theories and videos and an entire secondary canon built by theorists and fans. when was the last time you saw someone talk about totk? how much positive discussion have you seen about the story, ever? theories, world building, etc? anything at all?

#i follow a ton of zeldatubers bc i was really into the botw content when it was happening #and after totk dropped it went from weekly if not daily uploads to. crickets. #and occasionally zeltik or monster maze put out a video but even then its with none of the passion or creativity they had before #and its bc totk was just. BAD. it was so literally botw 2. #bad dungeons a thousand shrines a story told theough small peeks #except unlike botw there was no emotional hook with the characters. nothing personal. we dont know ANYTHING abt the sages #their two biggest hooks were the zonai (who they entirely changed from what people found interesting in botw- #-then did nothing to elaborate on. at all. no history no world building no character arcs at all) #and the sky islands (which were rare. copy and pasted. scattered small identical puzzles) #like what did you even do? you took away all moral greyness all character development all personal investment #and you gave us all the same flaws and THEN some while saying you were listening to what the fans had to say #what was the point even. the only good part of totk was tulin.
