Xisuma has a local tavern that is quite popular. Many travelers go through it on their quests and he lets people in need rest in it for free with a warm meal, everyone grateful for his kindness. The many travelers, a lot or people on the run or seeking adventures, or just wanting some intel or a quick buck to make by helping him with quests, they all gather at his lovely Inn.

There are a lot of regulars and X has found himself quite enamored with many of them. X was never a man of simple relationships and honestly, he wouldn't have it any other way when one of his many partners stumbles their way back into his tavern, with tales of ancient cities and faraway lands. Everyone around knows that if you are in a relationship with X, you gotta prepare yourself to share with many others. Hes found himself calling his partners "Hermits", just to make everything easier. At least its easier than "Oh i have a policule going on that is so big, i cant even keep track of how many"

Though when X is in trouble, be it a stupid idiot thinking he could rob him in his own tavern, or the king sending his guards, again because of X's heritage of having very rare and desirable hybrid traits, his hermits arent very far behind.

And they also arent as merciful as him.

Unbeknownst to Xisuma, several of his hermits worked together to create a system. If they hear about any threats to X (and each other too) then they have ways to pass it on: spells, messenger stones, familiars...

They also make sure at least one of them is in the area at any time. Xisuma isn't helpless by any means, but there's no harm in it either. Better to be prepared and do something than let Xisuma get hurt unnecessarily. He'd always put others first, too, if it meant protecting them from harm.

It's very noble, and a value most hermits share. But also you sometimes need someone willing to make the call to bash somebody. X won't be getting hurt on their watch any time soon.

ahhh truck driver toji so cute ur aus for him are srsly superior i swear!!! i think it’d be so cute if maybe you wrote abt the items/souvenirs toji has collected and gifted you as you travel together :D the emotional meaning and why hehe

hii ! here’s a list:

disposable cameras: he buys them more for himself then he does for you. he’s the type to refuse to delete photos to free up storage on his phone, and won’t pay for the extra gigabytes, so naturally he just started opting for hard copies.

there’s shots of you two tucked into every crevice of the truck, and he has an old shoebox full of them tucked under the driver’s seat. he usually keeps his weekly favorite tucked away in the visor mirror.

coins! he’s constantly sifting through his change from gas station purchases to look for older or unique coins to gift to you. he loves how excited you get when you come across those vintage coin press machines and insists he be the one to press the lever down.

trucker hats again, these ones are more for him than you. you just end up wearing them more than he does (and he lets you). he literally can’t help himself when it comes to getting new hats. and when he decides to bring one up to the counter you always have to remind him that he has at least 6 just like it.

he’ll send you into gas stations with a crumpled 50 from time-to-time, telling you to go ham as long as you make sure to get him a case of beer. you’ll sometimes get yourself a gag gift out of boredom, showing it off to him with a smile.

you bought him a gag hat one time that read “#1 MILF.” he found it funny at the time, using it to push back his fringe once the sun started beating down on you two. he ended up forgetting that he had it on by noon, sitting through an entire meal at an ihop not knowing why everyone was giggling at the two of you.

keychains! he loves giving you the ones with little snow globes attached, you have a key ring where you keep all of them. they always change depending on what season you’re in. if it’s cold he tends to go for winter themed charms, and if it’s warmer he likes to get you the kind with pressed flowers.

bottle caps: random sobriety checks are frequent depending on where the two of you are driving through, so toji knows not to let himself get caught with alcohol in his system before the two of you have gotten to your destination for the night. when he finally gets to crack open a case, he’ll give you the bottle cap to fiddle around with.

you’ve since started saving them in a jar after learning they could be exchanged for cash! you’re saving up to buy him something for his birthday.

What are the guidelines for the bingo?

I will be borrowing some of this from the MYSU Valentine’s Day Bingo 2022 Guidelines, since they were fantastic.

For Everyone:

1. Remember to @sambuckylibrary in the post as well as #tfatwsanniversary2024.

2. Please also tag the prompt you’re filling (for instance, if the square is “Redwing”, use “#redwing” as one of your tags when posting about it on Tumblr).

3. If you’re uploading to AO3, please:

Things to be mindful of when creating:

For Sam

Avoid framing Sam only as a caretaker or emotional support for Bucky. Be mindful of Sam acting angry or aggressive in an out-of-character way and falling into the angry/sassy Black man trope (check out the MCU source material to help with character traits).

Avoid decentering Sam as a main character and refrain from focusing entirely on Bucky.

In art: avoid whitewashing Sam’s skin and research drawing Black characters.

General disclaimer: Race affects every aspect of his life, including interacting with police/government and the white structures of the world when it comes to performing his duties as Cap and simply being a Black man that lives in the U.S.

For Bucky

Avoid phrasing “flesh/normal/human hand” to refer to the contrast between his prosthetic arm and his right arm. The phrasing is ableist. You can simply refer to his prosthesis when relevant, otherwise use “right/left arm/hand”.

The session was progressing well, with this month's revenue breaking records again after finalizing the partnership with Gojo Enterprise. The influx of inquiries from other companies kept everyone busy, a challenge you welcomed.

Toji, seated beside you, diligently recorded meeting minutes and contributed insights, especially during Kong Shiu's presentation, the head of your BFSI business unit. Toji collaborated closely with Kong Shiu on certain projects, but ultimately reported directly to you.

Nanami nodded in response to your inquiry. "Yes, according to Gojo-san, our current pace aligns with our agenda. He stressed maintaining service quality as crucial. The partnership has garnered attention, and upholding our standards is paramount."

Leaning back, you considered Nanami's response. "Good to hear. Quality remains non-negotiable as we scale up. We can't afford to compromise and damage our reputation."

Nanami remained composed. "Agreed. I've discussed resource allocation with team leads. We'll handle increased workload intelligently without compromising performance."

As the meeting progressed, Toji contributed, "I've reviewed potential synergies with Gojo Enterprise. Tech implementation stands out as an area where our teams could complement each other."

Nanami showed interest. "Excellent point, Fushiguro-san. Let's set up a meeting with their tech leads to explore these synergies."

You agreed, "Worth pursuing. Coordinate with their team and see if we can arrange something for next week."

The meeting continued with energy, ideas flowing, and plans taking shape. The partnership with Gojo Enterprise had opened opportunities, and your team aimed to leverage them.

After adjournment, Toji lingered. "I'll draft a proposal for joint tech exploration and run it by you before sending it to Satoru."

"Sounds good," you replied, appreciating Toji's proactive approach.

As everyone dispersed, Nanami approached, cautious before expressing his thoughts. "It's reassuring how well things are progressing. The team cohesion is stronger than ever. It should keep him at bay, or, with luck, we can finally shake him off."

You smiled, acknowledging his observation. "Teamwork and adaptability are our strengths. Let's maintain this momentum. Kento, thanks for your insights. I can imagine the effort, despite my reminders to take it easy."

Nanami nodded. "Of course, anytime. I want him out of the picture pronto."

You sighed, looking at your senior director. "Me too, Nii-san. Me too."

Toji observed the interaction between you and Nanami, later discovering he was your big brother. Upon realizing the resemblance, he understood why some mistook you for twins. Despite the age difference, you maintained a professional demeanor at work, surprising Toji when he learned about your relationship.

Returning to your office, your confidence in your team's abilities was evident. Once in the safety of your workspace, you released a slightly shaky breath, realizing you had been holding it during your walk from the boardroom. Toji, ever-observant, had been watching you but remained silent until you were both back in your shared office.

"Everything okay?" he asked as you settled at your desk, noting the unreadable expression that shifted into a rehearsed smile when you faced him.

"Yeah, just a bit tired from the meeting," you replied.

Toji hummed, settling at his desk to resume his tasks. Memories of the day Kenjaku visited replayed in his mind. He recalled the odd look on your face when Kenjaku entered, sensing the animosity between you two. Most of it emanated from you, your eyes shooting daggers at Kenjaku, who reveled in the confrontation with a smug smile.

The man's smile oozed smugness, his posture radiating self-assurance. Toji observed the interaction with a nonchalant air, his instincts signaling that this encounter held more depth than apparent.

You held your ground, a façade of composure concealing the turmoil brewing beneath the surface. Toji's sharp eyes shifted between you and Kenjaku, a flicker of intrigue igniting in the depths of his gaze.

As unspoken tension thickened the air, Toji found himself an unwitting spectator to a history shrouded in secrecy.

Kenjaku's voice flowed smoothly, carrying an unearned familiarity that echoed through the room. His eyes bore into yours with a dangerous mix of amusement and shadows.

"Kenjaku," you replied evenly, your voice a masterclass in masking the storm within.

Kenjaku advanced, his movements calculated, invading your personal space with the ease of a predator. "You're looking well," he remarked casually, as if the years between you were nothing more than a fleeting moment.

Your jaw tensed, every muscle poised against the instinct to step back. "Cut to the chase, Kenjaku. What do you want?"

He chuckled softly, the sound grating on your nerves like a dissonant melody. Toji's frown deepened as he observed, the room's tension a silent ballet of wills.

Kenjaku's smile turned predatory, revealing the hidden fangs beneath charm. "You've done well for yourself. JJK Holdings, partnering with Gojo Enterprise. Quite the success story."

Arms folded, you defended with a defiant grace. "I'm not here for pleasantries. If you have something to say, say it."

Toji's gaze flicked to your hands, the subtle tremor betraying the composed exterior. His concern deepened, a silent promise to intervene if needed.

Kenjaku's eyes narrowed, the charm slipping away to reveal the cold calculation beneath. "You always had a sharp tongue. But some things never change, Y/N."

Toji remained steadfast, the lines of readiness etched into his features. Your nostrils flared with a potent mix of anger and frustration. "I'm not afraid of you anymore, Kenjaku. Your games won't work."

Kenjaku's expression darkened, the mask crumbling further. "We'll see, Y/N. We'll see."

Eye contact lingered, anger boiling within. It took everything in you not to succumb to the impulse to slap him. As Kenjaku made his way to the door, his eyes landed on Toji, a sly smile playing on his lips.

"Ah, and who might you be?" Kenjaku's voice carried amusement, a calculated interest.

Toji leaned against a nearby table, his posture a blend of nonchalance and quiet confidence. "Fushiguro Toji, Y/N's Executive Assistant."

Recognition flickered in Kenjaku's eyes, a fleeting memory trying to resurface. "Ah, an executive assistant. How quaint."

Toji's lips curled into a knowing smile, his tone casual yet laced with an underlying challenge. "Indeed, quite quaint. But even the most ordinary roles can play a part in remarkable stories."

Tension thickened as a verbal spar unfolded. Kenjaku's arrogant smirk met Toji's confident gaze. "Well, it's good to see that some find contentment in such… supporting roles."

"Supporting roles often hold the threads of the story together, ensuring the narrative's success." Toji's response was a masterful blend of cleverness and professionalism; his words served as a shield of support for you, skillfully countering Kenjaku's implications.

However, Toji wasn't the only one adept in the art of subtle jabs. Kenjaku's attention shifted to you, but his words were directed at your executive assistant, a man visibly measuring your visitor. "Yes, yes... I'm sure Y/N picked you among her seas of applicants for your... capabilities," he turned to Toji, a sick smile playing on his face. "As someone who knows her so well, you're in good hands, Fushiguro-san."

Kenjaku's words dripped with innuendo, a vile implication that sent a chill down your spine. You understood the insinuation, feeling a deep sense of disgust – not towards yourself as Kenjaku perceived, but rather at the twisted conclusions he drew due to your past involvement with him. Meeting his gaze with a calm demeanor, you concealed the tumultuous emotions swirling within.

Toji's response was a seamless fusion of level-headedness and a touch of cheekiness; his words carefully chosen as a retort. "It's always reassuring to provide valuable assistance to a highly respected colleague."

An uneasy tension lingered as Kenjaku's gaze shifted from you to Toji, as if he were peering into the depths of something he shouldn't be privy to. With an arrogant smirk revealing concealed intentions, he slowly backed away. "Ah, well then, I shan't keep you any longer. You both seem to have been having a really good conversation before I arrived."

Kenjaku turned and left the room, his departure leaving behind a residue of tension that slowly dissipated yet never truly disappeared.

As the door closed behind him, you exchanged a brief glance with Toji, the shared unease unspoken yet palpable. Then, for a split second, the lump you had been suppressing surged upwards, choking you with a whirlwind of emotions.

"Y/N!" Toji's voice carried urgency as he swiftly moved to your side, a pillar of support in the aftermath of Kenjaku's unsettling presence.

Slumping down on the floor, you felt the weight of the encounter crash down upon you, your body reacting to the overwhelming stress in a way that you couldn't control. As you expelled the contents of your stomach, the taste of bile on your tongue was a bitter reminder of the toxicity that still lingered from your past.

Toji's hand found its place on your back, rubbing comfortingly as he tried to offer solace amid the storm raging within you. His other hand fumbled for his phone in his pocket, the urgency of the situation driving him to seek help from anyone who could offer support.

Frustrated tears streamed down your face, mingling with the remnants of nausea. The sudden and unwelcome intrusion of your ex-husband had shattered the carefully constructed walls you had built to keep him at bay. The image of his smug smile was seared into your mind, each flash of memory a fresh wave of distress.

Your body convulsed with coughs, and your chest tightened with each intake of air. Toji remained steadfast, his presence a stabilizing force amidst the chaos. He murmured words of reassurance; the sound was a lifeline that helped ground you even as your panic threatened to consume you.

Moments later, the door swung open with a sense of urgency, and Nanami burst into the room. His usually composed demeanor was replaced with raw concern as his gaze landed on his sister, trembling and broken on the floor. He knelt down beside you, his touch gentle yet firm as he sought to offer his support.

Nanami's eyes held a mix of frustration and protectiveness; he had witnessed the toll Kenjaku's presence took on you before, and the sight of your suffering struck a nerve within him. He gently reached out, his hand finding yours in a comforting grip. "Y/N," His voice was soft but unwavering, a lifeline echoing Toji's earlier attempts to anchor you. "You're safe now. He's gone."

But just like any other attack, their words flew by you, distant echoes in the midst of your overwhelming turmoil. You were trapped in a whirlwind of emotions, your chest constricting with anxiety and pain. The memory of Kenjaku's smug smile and cutting words replayed like a haunting melody in your mind, each note reverberating with the memories of past wounds.

As you trembled, unable to find your voice, you felt Nanami's arms wrap around you in a protective embrace. The warmth of his presence and the strong beat of his heart against your back provided a sense of solace; his touch was a silent promise that he was there for you and that he wouldn't let you face this alone. His grip tightened as he held you close, his voice a whisper against your ear. "I'm here, Y/N. You're not alone. Not anymore. Not ever."

But even in the safety of his arms, the pain persisted, the memories too vivid to ignore. Tears streamed down your face as you struggled to regain control over your racing heartbeat. The suffocating weight of fear and anger pressed down on you, threatening to overwhelm your senses.

"I'm sorry, Y/N. It's my fault. I failed you again today." Nanami’s words hung in the air, heavy with the weight of his own guilt and turmoil; his tone was heavy with regret and self-blame.

You turned your head slightly, seeking his eyes through tear-blurred vision. His gaze was earnest, filled with a mixture of remorse and affection. In that moment, you saw not just your older brother but a man who had carried his own burdens and regrets, a man who had always tried to protect you, even from the demons of the past.

Toji, once again a star witness to yet another spectacle he's probably not allowed to see, continued to observe from a respectful distance. His expression was a mix of concern and understanding. He watched as Nanami cradled you in his arms, offering the comfort that only a brother's embrace could provide.

As your tears gradually subsided and your breathing began to steady, you were too tired and drained to speak. Nanami's grip remained firm, an unspoken promise that he would stand by your side through it all. In the midst of the lingering pain and vulnerability, you finally found peace in the presence of those who cared for you—a reminder that you were not defined by the scars of your past.

However, your eyes still looked distant, a complete contrast to the ones that Toji was used to. When you turned to him, your eyes somehow regained their clarity, and the sight sent shivers down his spine. The scene felt hauntingly familiar to him, a poignant reflection of the depths he had once sunk into during his grieving days after the loss of his wife. "Hm, not just yet. I need to wrap this up in time for our meeting with Satoru next week."

After gathering his belongings, Toji walked over to your desk and peeked at what you were working on—the proposal for the partnership. "If you want, I can work on that at home. Just email me the key points, and I'll have it ready by Friday."

You met Toji's gaze with a mixture of reluctance and relief in your eyes. Despite wanting to refuse his offer, your gratitude betrayed you, causing a chuckle to escape Toji's lips. He affectionately ruffled your hair with one hand and suggested, "Leave it to me, Y/N. Head home and get some rest."

A grateful smile formed on your lips, and in an uncharacteristic move, you leaned gently into the warmth of his hand, now cozily resting on your shoulder. Such familiarity between a supervisor and her subordinate might raise eyebrows, but the fatigue coursing through you outweighed any adherence to protocol. And in all honesty, it had been so long since you'd experienced any semblance of softness and warmth that your hormones were acting up. You couldn't help but feel slightly self-conscious as it physically manifested through the apples of your cheeks.

Besides, ever since that pivotal day, the seed of a harmless crush had deepened its roots, evolving into something more profound. While you hesitated to label it love, you were certain you were hurtling in that direction at the speed of light.

However, your musings on Toji's feelings for you were less certain. Was he merely being a steadfast friend, or was he forging a deeper connection? Or did your own self-doubt misconstrue his intentions as pity, stemming from witnessing your vulnerability?

"I'll leave it to you then, Toji. Thank you," you replied to him, to which he responded with a gentleman-like nod. You smiled at the gesture before standing up to stretch your very tired limbs. You were practically glued to your seat, so sore all over your body that a tiny whimper escaped your lips.

"Just doing my job," Toji said, his voice laced with mirth.

"Make sure to plot in your timesheet that you allotted overtime hours, so it gets measured by the payroll team," you reminded him as you gathered your own belongings. Toji chuckled at this and nodded again as a response, but it was soon followed by a cheeky reply, "Thanks, boss."

You snorted at his remark and playfully smacked him on the chest. A shared laugh filled the room, and your eyes briefly met before you pulled away to finish tidying up, preparing to head home and rest. The journey to the elevator was enveloped in a comfortable silence, punctuated by the occasional brush of your hands. Each accidental collision sparked a wave of warmth in your chest, and Toji's ears showed a hint of crimson. He contemplated whether to pull his hand away or yield to the desire to grab yours and hold it tight. Ever since that day, something stronger and more compelling had stirred within Toji.

What he had been denying to himself since your paths crossed was becoming clearer. It wasn't just gratitude; it was a genuine attraction that burned and ate away at him the more time he spent with you.

As you waited for the elevator, Toji broke the silence by asking, "Are you free this weekend?"

"Hm? Yes, why?" Your voice betrayed a subtle excitement, and your heart raced. Is this what you think it is?

"Well, I was kind of thinking of inviting you to come along with me and the kids to an animal shelter we visit monthly," Toji started. He cleared his throat and scratched a spot on his nape, a nervous habit. "Tsumiki, my daughter, and well… Megumi too, they love animals, and so we have this tradition of volunteering at the shelter near our neighborhood. If you want, you can tag along and, you know, relax. Not that working at an animal shelter would help you relax, but at least, it would keep your mind preoccupied." He chuckled sheepishly.

A genuine smile dawned on your face. You couldn't help but appreciate that he wasn't outright addressing what happened a couple of days ago, as you weren't quite ready to have that conversation. You looked at him, and this time, you were rather bold with your actions as you subtly batted your eyelashes at your executive assistant, saying, "I'd love to." The air seemed to crackle with unspoken emotions, and Toji's gaze held a mixture of relief and anticipation, a silent acknowledgment of the uncharted territory your relationship was treading.

two fights for freedom ~ chapter three: hope remains

It was hard to miss him. Near impossible. The guy was a giant compared to the citizens flocking him, barking about their perks and their discounts. He had his arms full with a huge basket of goods, and some kid beside him was holding onto a growing armful.

“Who is that guy, Genzo?” Nami questioned sweetly, “I don’t recognize him.”

Neither did he. “Stay here, alright? I’m going to go interrogate him.”

“Stay here? In the middle of town?”

Her eyes batted innocently when he looked her way. Maybe that wasn’t the best advice in hindsight.

“Go back to the orchard, then. Help your sister.”

“Yay!” Nami threw her arms in the air exuberantly, bustling off towards her home. Bell-mère could chew him out for this later. There were more pressing concerns.

Nearby vendors hardly looked his way when he approached. Not with the berri signs glimmering in their eyes. “Hey, hey, enough.” Genzo called out, which finally warranted some attention. “Everyone get back to your booths.” He ordered with a strong extension of his arm. The stranger and his kid shifted their focus towards the authority figure. “You two. I don’t recognize you. Who are you, where are you from?”

“We’re travelers.” The blond spoke in a friendly baritone. His hair was a bit unkempt, all waves and curls from the humidity. Jeans, boots, a crisp, clean button-down. He wasn’t from the East Blue. “Call me Dante. And this, this is my kid, Paul.” He plopped a hand over the teen’s spotted hat. Hard to believe they were related in any way. Dark hair, darker, splotchy skin. At least he was wearing shorts. He offered nothing but a silent wave, while the other arm awkwardly managed the bulk of his basket.

“Travelers.” Genzo repeated, as the townspeople listened on in silent awe. “Why have you come here, of all places?” He eyed between them fiercely, “And how?”

“By…boat?” Dante’s reddish eyes darted about as he chuckled nervously. “What do you mean?”

“I mean, how did you get past the Arlong Pirates?” Genzo bit out, tired of this blissful oversight.

“The…Arlong Pirates…?” That dopey grin started to melt.

so mr am (@/234am) has been hosting a lil dnd campaign for a few of us!

its been SO much fun, and mr am has consistently gone above and beyond in providing amazing enfishment for our small little group to gnaw upon within our virtual enclosure

i thought, both as a thank you to him, and coz sort sort sort i like to arbitrarily sort its fun, that i would release little scraps of our adventures here as i go through and document/preserve our ongoing shenaneries

the campaign itself is homebrew and ffxiv-themed; the party meets up weekly on d/iscord and consists of four players (myself, my wife*, @/blatantlyqueer, and @/meredactyl), and four main characters (mordant, fhloe, e-yuk-pen, and sohna) that are (mostly) au versions of themselves (fhloe is the exception and was crafted specifically for this)

the campaign itself is ongoing and currently still in Act I--

which thus far has solely centred around being stuck in The Torment Nexus aka Palace of the Dead, where bad and naughty characters get put through the pear wiggler and we collectively get to see what falls back out :)

the whole campaign is basically themed around this:

from what mr am has told us, there is An Lot content planned, so we can likely expect to see our characters go to lvl 20 and potentially further!

basically, this is four absolute walnuts (affectionate) knocking barbies together making four supposed strangers fumble their way through hell, looking for both answers and a way out

Hello, fellow Stranger Things writers,

I've been thinking of starting a private group roleplay, for adults (18 and above) only to make sure it's a mature space + for my own comfort. In short, I wanted to see which AU people would be most interested in writing. This would be canon characters only, weekly and monthly events guaranteed. I have seen a bunch of modern and band AU settings so I decided to approach different themes,

'Monster High' AU: Vampires, Werewolves, and Witches, each and every one of them feared by most which is why they'd find themselves in the infamous town of Hawkins. It is a place known for being inhabited by monsters rather than humans, especially the local schools. These creatures mostly spite each other for their differences in the past, something that might bring tension- or perhaps unlikely friendships.

Folklore & Pirate AU: Mermaids/Mermen, Weresharks, Sirens... all kinds of creatures inhabit the depths of the sea, some wish to live hidden from the world while others spite the beings that sail the great seas. These people may be members of a pirate crew seeking hidden treasures, simple fishermen who are just trying to make a living and so much more.

Fantasy (D&D) AU: Following the general setting of Dungeons and Dragons and its canon world (Forgotten Realms), this roleplay would take place in a small city of sorts. Writers would need to fill out character sheets (based on their character) as if they were to enter a campaign themselves, hunt monsters, criminals, or simply have an occupation outside of the Adventurer's Guild that the city is most known for.

Greek Gods AU: Each and every character would represent one of the many Greek Gods/Goddesses, Titans/Titanesses, living their lives on the peak of Mount Olympus. Look when Grian said he’d be inviting his sister to join the hermitcraft guild they didn’t expect their best rogue to bring back a 10ft tall Goliath Ranger with a literal army of direwolves at her beck and call! Which only adds more confusion when Grian who is a gnome albeit an oddly tall one comes in with a giant woman claiming to be his sister. Even with the explanation of she’s adopted doesn’t help! How do you just causally forget to mention that your sister is taller then her kind is normally supposed to be along with the 30+ direwolves that follow her?!

After the hysterics die down and they drag Ren out of the pile of giant wolves they got Pearl signed up to to the guild and she quickly proved a deadly fighter and an even deadlier summoner with her wolves. She even gives False a run for her money when she’s swinging around that greataxe of hers which the hermits are pretty sure is the same one Grian stole from a now dead nobleman few months prior. And she quickly integrated herself amongst the group serving as both provided of giant wolves to cuddle and embarrassing stories about her baby brother-for the last time Pearl just because your taller doesn’t mean your older!-to the other hermits. She’s gonna fit in just fine…Well maybe they’ll need to get her a bigger bed though.

Grian didn't think it was that weird! Pearl is Pearl, he forgets other people aren't used to her. He's relieved the hermits accepted her, though. He knows she's been lonely for a while and he's not been able to spend as much time with her as he'd like, needing to focus on the guild. Now, he has the people he cares about in one place!

If she ever asks, though, he just missed the wolves.

(He also needs to figure out how you're supposed to give the 'don't hurt my sibling' talk to people he's also dating. Uhh... Maybe Beholders?)

Tales of Corokina is a Coroika AU, fantasy-themed with D&D elements, by @galax-dragon. It follows the main characters, the S4, as they are sent on a quest by Galax, a strange sage who insists they are part of a prophecy to save Corokina from evil. Along the way they meet new friends and foes, and become closer to one another. This blog is mainly for updates, though art and other stuff related to Tales of Corokina will occasionally be posted here.

ddejavvu’s 1K celebration!!!

oh my gosh! thank you all so much for one thousand followers, that number is insane to me! I started this blog only a few days before Halloween of 2021, and I can’t believe how far we’ve come! I’ve decided to do a week long celebration for 1K, a sleepover of sorts, where each day is a different theme. This might sound very similar to my 700 follower celebration, and you’d be mostly correct in that. However, what makes this celebration unique, is that instead of character themes, each day is a different type of writing. This celebration will run from 2/01-2/07/2022! Here’s our schedule! And yes, most of the titles of the days are terrible, but hey! I only said I was a wordsmith, I didn’t say I was a good one.

Tuesday 2/01: Trope Tuesday! I want cliches, people, cliches! Ask me to write about there only being one bed, or ask me to write about two best friends falling in love with each other, or ask me to write about two rivals falling in love with each other! Absolutely any cheesy trope you can think of, this is the day to ask me for it!

Wednesday 2/02:Weepy Wednesday :( Send me some sad, sad angst requests! Make me cry, make me make you cry! The angstier the better, make me regret theming wednesday to be so sad!

Thursday 2/03: Thotty Thursday! Do you think I would launch a celebration without giving all of my 18+ readers some 18+ content? Thursday is gonna be a smutty, smutty day, and you can always request smut for different days (ex. an au on monday that involves smut) however, smut is all I’ll be writing on Thursday, so if you’re here for my nsfw content, you’ll want to be here on Thursday!

Sunday 2/06: Sappy Sunday! I’ll still be crying from Wednesday, so I’ll need some cute fluffy prompts to make me happy again! If you’re a fan of tooth-rotting fluff, this is the day for you! Send me the cutest, sweetest, fluffiest requests that you can think of!

Monday 2/07: Multiverse Monday! Send me a request for any au that you can think of! This is our consistent, weekly themed day. However, because this celebration is still running, it’s going to be the last theme!

Welcome to the MTL Rare Pair Month Challenge!

Starting July 4th all the way to the end of the month, this is a challenge where you can write, draw, or create anything really only based on rare pairings!

As doing daily challenges may not possible for some, I am including weekly challenges!

Each week has a theme, and you can use that however you want to! You can replace a day’s theme with a weekly theme, write one fic per weekly theme each week, center a theme around the challenges, anything you want! How you complete this challenge is up to you, but this is just another challenge that I’ve decided to include to either make things harder or easier for everyone :D

It’s all entirely up to you! If you want to do one over the other, both, and/or work on them separately it’s up to you! You are not obligated to do all 31 days or all 4 weekly challenges. The point of this challenge is to have fun so where’s the fun in being stressed out?

Can I write crossover pairings? (I.E Nathan Explosion x Eddie Briggs from Brutal Legend) Self-inserts/OC x character pairings?

Of course! It wouldn’t be a rare pair event without some crossover or OC pairings now wouldn’t it?

Week 1 Theme:

Tarot Cards: Tarot Cards can answer many things but will they even ask? With this week’s theme, you can write a fic centered around tarot cards, a tarot reading, or a single tarot card that sticks out to you! If you have a deck of your own, maybe you can use the cards to guide your fic?

Day 4: the first… Day 5: Arranged Marriage/Fake Dating Day 6: Heroes/Villains Day 7: Sunrises/Sunsets Day 8: Monster AU/Magic AU Day 9: Soulmate/Enemies to Lovers Day 10: Mutual Unrequited Love

Week 2 Theme:

Fear of The Unknown: Season 4 especially seems to slowly shift to this theme for the viewers; what will happen to Dethklok? What is Project Falconback? Take this challenge as a reflection or confrontation of what characters may have to face, whether it’s with the prophecy or with their own relationships. Alternatively/additionally, you can use this to write on pairings you haven’t before!

Day 11: Deleted Scenes (This would be different from Day 18 as this is more focused on adding to an episode, rather than rewriting an episode)

Day 12: Kidfic/Kid AU Day 13: Coffee Shop AU/Tattoo Shop AU Day 14: Lies/Honesty Day 15: Dating App/Random Meeting Day 16: Rainy Day/Beach Day Day 17: Road Trip/Night Drives

Week 3 Theme:

Changing of the Seasons: As old as time, the seasons change one after another without fail. Will their feelings be as long as summer nights or will it slowly fade over time by the time fall rolls around? This week’s challenge can do anything with the seasons, metaphorically or physically doing something like raking leaves or attending local winter festivals.

Day 18: Episode Rewrite Day 19: Blind Date/Double Date Day 20: Sick fic/lazy day Day 21: Power Outage/Stranded Day 22: Prom/Wedding Day 23: And there was only one bed…./Actually, there are two beds Day 24: Amnesia/Reminiscing

Week 4 Theme:

Emotional Turmoil: Can you tell that a show is lacking in something so much that there needs to be a challenge about it? Definitely. This final challenge can really amp up the angst or fluff you may desperately crave. Will their emotions run high in an ever-changing environment? Is the weight of their past or future finally making them break? Or will they finally confess their feelings when it’s all too late?
