TUA FIC IDEA (3)

Had this idea for a long while but unsure how to go about it, but i legit wrote a whole prologue about it in my notebook that perhaps I'll type out eventually once I figure out *where* to go plotwise

Klaus centric, an AU where Klaus died on the day of his birth alongside his mother. His skin tinged blue, body cold and pallid.

Its only within the next hour after his birth does his heart beat again. The wails of the infant filling the small cabin, hands - still cold, freezjng - flailing against the white sheets covering him.

His aunt only could only slowly peel away the fabric, heart stuttering to reveal the same infant she saw before - blue, sickly, and corpse-like - yet wriggling, crying - alive, *alive*

The father rushes in to stare at the baby, watching at its eyes peel open to reveal white, milky irises.

The eyes of death.

Eyes of a curse.

Or an AU where Klaus looks more like the ghosts that haunt him rather. It changes a few things

Spoilers if I were to ever write this

Likely an explorative piece - I deal with p bad Body Dysmorphia and have from a young age so this likely will be a vent piece

Will be pre-season 1 - might go into apocolypse week but there'd be changes and if I do, this might turn into a multi-part series

Things I wanted to explore

His appearance:

Klaus essentially has pale white skin and is almost like a thin translucent layer that showcases the vivid blue and purple veins underneath

Rarely has a flush - often jealous at the others who go red even at the slightest compliment. He tries to slap and pinch his skin for it to do the same, nd despitr the heart beating under his skin, no blood comes to paint his cheeks pink underneath

Dry skin, always cold (he always carries a chill around him. Fun side note; its something his siblings appreciate during the hot summer months. Not so much during the winter)

Pallid - skin almost like rubber. Unnaturally so

Small detail that even the lids of his eyes have a spider web of little veins that he hates. Dark bags under his eyes

Irises are pale and white - like a film on top of them. Only a pale green hidden in his irises if he were to look hard enough. He wishes the green would break past the white film they hide behind, but they never do.

His pupils are more often then not dilated - when high, he likes stare at how they get smaller to reveal more of the pale green he wishes to see

Hes fairly thin, gaunt and struggles to gain muscle mass. Hr doesn't know however, if its from his condition or the lack of appetite

His lips are often chapped, dry and also always tinged purple

More on this AU

Klaus realizing he looks different amongst the others. Or rather, his siblings look different most of the people Klaus knows, all of whom, with the exception of his father and his robot mother, are dead. At first it wasnt that big of an issue, but Klaus couldnt help but notice people on the magazine covers that Allison liked to sneak in or on the pictures of people in their textbooks

It becomes more apparent when the kids start sneaking out and people take notice of Klaus, either recoiling in disgust, or fear - most people try to stay polite, but it's not hard to notice their flinching and stares when they see him

As much as I love the sibbies, kids are cruel and do start commenting on Klaus being different. Reginald has little care for appearances but does not disuade the others from making comments

Comments turn to teasing, eventually become mean

Becomes more apparent at their debut, where magazine covers and media comment on Klaus's appearance - calling him creepy, strange, odd

>>>> one scene where they have a photoshoot and the photographers embrace his look. klaus is made to feel pretty for the first time

Klaus experiments with make up - does a horrible job (cuz hes a kid) and is made fun of for looking like a clown. Lots and lots of shame and klaus failing down a self hate spiral

More tough words - some isolation due to the strange aura he brings along with his appearance. Told by one of them that no one would love a corpse (during a fight - again, kids are mean)

Gets older and believes he's revolting to look at, the ghost calling him one of them. But he's not dead, he's not like them. He's alive. He's alive. (But is he?)

Five leaves - might do something of Five caring the least about his appearance. Hit him hard.

Klaus is now an unconfident teen, hides in clothes that are too big but still colourful to try and bring some sort of life. He still plays a little with make up - small bits to make him look less like a corpse and more (alive) like the others

Media and now others consider him like a bad omen, bringing in the haunted and could only lead to bad luck. His siblings start noticing this as well and begin to believe it to a degree. Klaus does as well

Still flighty and what not cuz ghosts are loud and hes trying to figure out a way to silence them - likely keeping the scene with the heels and discovering drugs

Fic would be dealing with self harm, intrusive thoughts and dissociation - klaus would be in his head a lot

in an alley, klaus desperate for some sort of numbing relief that he can no longer depend on stealing at the academy (Reginald had Grace hide all the opiods). Difficult for Klaus to get the drugs on the streets due to his appearance and death aura - his reputation still prevailing, along with his high status - people rather not deal with him

Ben's death still occurs (some part of klaus is jealous that ben looks more human than Klaus even as a ghost) and Ben follows him around after that and bears witness to Klaus's descent into depression and self hatred

Klaus becoming too afraid to leave the house but also needing the drugs - at a limbo

TW SUICIDE ATTEMPT: klaus offing himself, finding himself in the void with God. Notices his reflection (maybe thru the water or a mirror), for the first time, that despite his pale and colourless skin, he looks more alive than he ever did when he was actually alive (was he ever actually alive). His eyes, he notices, are green. Vibrant green. His fingers trace along his skin and he thinks, for the first time in his life, that he is pretty.

He wakes up. Ben is screaming and crying in the way only ghosts can. He barely registers it. Only scrambling back up to look at himself in the mirror to only cry when he once again looks like a corpse

Everyone but Klaus and Luther leave the academy, klaus still does drugs but not at hard due to struggling to find people to deal him and the fact that he's so ashamed of his appearance - deals with agoraphobia that worsens overtime

Luther and Klaus bonding - Klaus begining to trust Luther and Luther getting cracks in his rose tinted glasses. Starts to wonder if he should take Klaus to live somewhere safe, away from everything and everyonr - they only have each other

Vanyas book - talks about Klaus and his creepy aura. Ben is mad, Klaus just slinks further into depression and isolation. Luther is angry - soon after the accident and Luther undergoes his fathers serum

Luther and Klaus bonding over body image after Luthers accident! Luther now too ashasmed to leave but angry and frustrated. Klaus trying to be supportive

Some tentative things:

Roadtrip to Pennsylvania!! To see his mother to only find out the truth - sends him into further depression

Luther deciding between going to the moon - I am considering that he runs away with Klaus

Klaus still undergoing training with Reginald - discovering more of his powers over the ghosts

Powers may include that he is acrually able to control them - once again, issues of whether he is alive or not come into question. Ends up giving in to the ghosts as they chant "one of us" to him

Before that we could see some sibling bonding with the others - diego is the first to see him

>>>> perhaps when visiting Grace, Diego sneaks around to see if Klaus is still there - which he is, cue long talks and Diego coming by once in a while (and Klaus trying to convince Diego to also talk with Luther)

Klaus using his immortality as a method of escaping, God isn't happy but he has enough control to stay for a little while in a body that he feels like is actually his

Still debating about Luther going to the moon and leaving Klaus to Reggie or him finding a place with Klaus and escaping - Klaus laughing and calling all three of them (Luther is aware of Ben) a runaway circus act

If the former - klaus goes further under reggies training, so angst angst. Power increase but also lots of mania and trigger warnings

OOOOOR

If the latter, luther and klaus bonding, homelessness but also struggling to adjust to a society that outcasts them

Tempted to write both haha like an AU of an AU, the latter maybe the AU and the former may be what actually happens cuz it could help lead to the apocolypse week- but, considering I have like 5 fic ideas (not posted yet) that deal with apocolypse week, kinda tempted to do something else

KLAUS POWERS:

full control and communication with the dead, summoning and banishing ghosts, raise the dead (aka make the corporeal), immortality and regeneration, levitation, soul projection into the void

**tentatively, has some sort of control life and death like a grim reaper. If i incorporate this, then likely will have Reggie experiment this on him

Perhaps in a happy ending, Klaus gains the control and learns to banish the ghosts

Okay typed this all out in the lunch room - nothing is edited and I'm just spilling out the ideas I have. Nothing is edited and can be switched around or changed as I deadass typed this in one go.

Please do not copy my ideas as these may be used in a fic!! Potentially - I am very cautious about uploaded finished pieces but this fandom has me with so many ideas!!

i woke up this morning and thought to myself, ‘i need to make something.’ and then i spent the majority of today working on this:

hc that Klaus survived (got resurrected) the first apocalypse but because he wasn't used to dying and the way he died he took very long to wake up again (see how in reginalds tests he wakes up withibg smaller intervals) and by the time he was up and moving five was already gone and he spend the next however long in that wasteland and when five time traveled he didn't take klaus with him (because he didn't know) so there is just one timeline with total desolation where a lonely klaus is wandering surrounded by ghosts but unable to die

(oh he got wiped out when five timetraveled who knows)

List of Current Klive Projects

So I have waaaaay too many unpublished WIPs in various stages of completion, from just plot bunnies, to complete outlines, to partial chapters, to almost completed fics, lmao. Currently my main focus has been If It's Not Love (Then It's the Bomb) with some oneshots or short multichapter fics scattered. However I've just started posting the follow-up to my Hitman Five fic (Kill Me Twice), Let Me Tear You to Pieces, which is going to be multichapter, and later this month or next month I'll be posting something else--but what that is remains up for debate, as I'm spoiled for choice on what to work on.

The question I have, I guess, is what of my 9 billion ideas sounds most appealing to others. So poll time! Here's a brief(ish) rundown of my various projects for Klive. Take a look and tell me what you'd most like to see!

*Accidental Sugar Daddy AU (~50k ish?) Season 4 AU where the rest of his siblings are making lives for themselves without their powers, but Klaus has no idea what to do with himself. Luckily for him, Five is more than happy to take care of him in the meantime. But as Five goes to more and more extravagant lengths to keep him happy, Klaus feels like he should be giving something back. And when Diego jokingly calls him Five's Sugar Baby, Klaus can't stop thinking about just how he could show his appreciation. Basically Didn't Know They Were Dating followed by Mutual Pining While Fucking, Misunderstandings, Angst, and a delightfully cheesy Happy Ending :D

*The Professional Cuddler AU (likely ~20k) - Ben is a professional cuddler who has an emergency and asks his BFF Klaus to take his appointments for him one day. Five is a maladjusted, touch-starved little psycho and his BFF Viktor buys him a session with a professional cuddler to see if it might help. *Danger Days AU (multi-chapter probably in the 75k+ range) Set in the Danger Days universe (from My Chemical Romance's album/videos/comics), Reginald rules the world and various of his adopted children run major cities. Five runs Battery City, with the Handler training his SCARECROWS. Five ends up with a new sexbot that doesn't behave like bots are supposed to, but as angry as it makes him, he's not about to return the bot... Klaus, meanwhile, is a top of the line, self-aware, true AI and secretly working with the underground, sending info back to Diego and Lila, and trying to find out where Reginald's last son, Viktor, has disappeared to.

*Time Travel What Ifs # 1 (multi-chapter ~25-50k) When Reginald throws Klaus out of the tunnel in season 3, he doesn't manage to die in time before the Kugelblitz gets him...and he wakes up back in the season 1 timeline, tied to a chair in Hazel and Cha-Cha's motel room. Klaus sets about fixing the timeline in a decidedly Klaus way, much to the bafflement of his siblings who wanna know what the hell happened to change their brother so dramatically overnight. (Also, Five keeps walking in on Klaus in various stages of undress. This is not essential to the plot, but I do adore it :D)

*Time Travel What Ifs #2 (probably a fairly porny oneshot ~ 10k at most??) Five's equations end him up in the mid 00s in a hot young 20-something body. 15 yo Klaus is super fucking into it, and trying to seduce Five, while Five tries to resist. He eventually fails to resist...

*Mob AU (?? 15-30K ish??) Psycho Mob Enforcer Five is the Boss's favourite, but has to leave town a while to lay low. Upon coming back and he takes a special interest in, and starts stalking, the Boss's newest sidepiece Klaus. Klaus is, predictably, super into it (and all the glorious fallout of that relationship when Five's not willing to share with anyone, boss or no...)

*Old Man Five/Hooker Klaus (25-50k) Old Man Five hops through the timeline trying to help improve his siblings' lives, even if they don't know it's him. When he gets to Klaus, he figures some money could improve his situation, but Klaus is disinclined to take money without providing services in return...Five doesn't mean to fuck his brother, but once he gets started, he's not about to stop. Klaus becomes his kept boy, and Klaus, despite the fact that he doesn't know much about his mysterious benefactor who disappears for long stretches of time, starts to fall in love. Except then Five disappears for good (after the Handler threatens to kill Klaus if Five keeps going back). Upon returning to his 13 yo body, Five doesn't want to tell Klaus the truth, assuming he'll be pissed to find out it was Five all along. But then Luther, the only one who's seen Old Five finds a photo of him in the background of some major historical event, and upon seeing it, Klaus blows up like wtf how could you not TELL ME??? and there is DRAMA and a fair amount of angst, but an eventual happy ending.

*Daemon AU (a la His Dark Materials; 10-20k ish, oneshot-ish, probably with other short one-offs in same ' verse) I have SO MANY FEELS ABOUT KLAUS' DAEMON OKAY??? And I don't want to get into them too much without being spoilery. But basically some vague timeline what timeline where they avoid the apocalypse and still have their powers and settle back into the manor. No one has seen Five's daemon since he returned to their timeline, leading his siblings to believe she must have been severed from him. No *humans* have seen her, but Klaus' daemon has, and the two of them hang out a lot. Meanwhile Klaus' daemon is as much of a mess as he is, thnks to various experiments Reggie performed, and of course the issue of what becomes of the daemon of a person who can die and return to life, when upon death, a daemon becomes Dust? Basically these two have some fucked up issues that are reflected in their daemons, which leads everyone around them to jump to conclusions. But mostly it's a really soft, romantic fic, of Five's daemon taking care of Klaus and Klaus taking care of Five, and just...lots of feels guys, okay?!

*Meet as Teens AU (25-50kish) Cancer Patient Five's family move to America for treatment. In the small town nearby, he meets Amish Klaus, who works at his family's market. Five's going through a bit of a rebellious phase (facing some really bad odds with his cancer) and Klaus lives on the fringes of his society, an outcast because of his weird abilities. Of course they gravitate towards one another, but when Five gets bad news after his most recent round of treatment, Klaus decides to visit the Girl and ask for a favour. *Commune AU (under 20k oneshot/maybe several short ~2-5k ficlets) Instead of selling Five when Reginald comes calling, Efa, whose family has a plot of land, invites other mothers of the powered children to drop off their babies if they don't want them. And if you want your baby but can't keep them because of shitty family situations, drop yourself off, too. Basically some of the moms stay and together they raise and teach and train the children together. The kids grow up happy and moderately well-adjusted and Reginald gets none of them, the dick. Five and Klaus are good friends, but then genius Five heads off to university pretty young, then a year of study abroad, and they mostly only keep in touch via mail. Five comes back from his study abroad to find Klaus has finally moved off the commune, and when he mentions not wanting to live in the dorms next semester, his mum mentions Klaus having space in his apartment. The last time Five saw him, Klaus was still that sort of wary, fluffy farm boy. But then Five walks into Klaus' gallery and both of them are all "oh no he's hot." Klaus is all cool and sexy and tattooed, and has all these friends and Five's despairing "what is he going to see in me, his square, nerdy friend." and Klaus is all, "ugh, Five is so hot and serious and he must think I'm so immature and stupid"

IDK if this will get any response whatsoever, since Klive fandom is so small, but I figured I'd try!

Wip Game

I have a lot of wips so i’m just gonna do a couple more recent ones. And they're all tua, they're all about Five.

1. Hide the Morning from the Stars - The thing that started this one was a line I heard that went, “I just wanted to be loved!” It another one of those post-everything Five acclimating to a peaceful life poorly type fic. The siblings are pretty caught up in rebuilding their own lives, as you do, and so Five proceeds to have the loneliest first year of retirement ever. This one also leans pretty heavy into something @mangoshorthand posted or reblogged a few whiles back about Five struggling to reconnect with Grace because she reminds him of the Handler.

2. Howling still counts as a wip because i cannot go a full 24 hour period without thinking about it. It’s just sitting in my brain, simmering in all the juices. I’m working on this one constantly. Like all the other wips are on a constant rotation, but this is the big fat star they inevitably orbit.

3. Selkies and Shit - my attempt at mermay masked author but i haven’t gotten very far with it. I don’t even know how to describe this one. The kids were selkies, the Handler was a pirate who was keeping Five and Lila’s skins, and everyone in the world had forgotten all their memories from more than six months prior. No one knew why, but it had something to do with the Moon being missing and the ocean being tide-less.

4. Planned Obsolescence - that fic where the Commission put a kill switch in Five in case he ever defected and then it slowly kills Five when he defects to be with his family. Here’s a tid bit from that one.

5. the delicate parts of us - it’s... a wing fic. anyone remember that really gory wing eruption scene in Haibane Renmei? yeah, i watched that as a kid and this isn’t the first time i’ve been inspired by it. Kind of dumb, actually, but mostly about Five asking for help.

6. And an untitled post-season 3 fic about Five being human trafficked and saving some kids and generally having a bad time and then a less bad time when his family shows up.

I think it might just be one or two really dedicated authors but the rise of unassisted home births in fanfiction really scares me.

This is a special interest of mine so I know a lot of the things that can happen during birth that a doctor would be there for. There's also just the fact that even if everything goes exactly according to plan, you will never have as much understanding of what's happening than a qualified midwife or OBGYN.

I just feel like people are gonna get this romanticized idea from fanfiction and then they or their children are going to get seriously hurt or traumatized.

How I feel after writing 11,100+ words on just the outlines of 5 unfinished chapters of a fic with even more chapters I haven't put on the doc yet along with two 2,000+ word outlines for two other fics all for a kids show that has 115 episodes and I'm only on episode 12

#yeah I love *insert this new show I'm obsessed with* a normal amount it's okay and I'm totally okay 👍#did I mention I have about 10+ other wips for this show too? I have so many ideas and too small of a crazed brain #I've always loved this gif but I have no idea where it's from so I just grabbed it from a mutuals blog from one of my side blogs #I wish I could put this much passion and craziness back into TUA and my TUA fics but unfortunately I don't know if I can #let's hope I don't burn myself out before any of these even become complete drafts sjdfckadls #normally I'd separate the chapters up onto their own docs but I'm trying something new here #do I even wanna tag fic stuff for this I feel insanse #fanfic writing

TUA FIC IDEA (2)

Writing this here before I forget.

Really wanting some dark klaus and five fics and ended up dreaming of an AU where Five, working for commission and having a undercover mission to protect a major drug/crime lord somewhere in the early 2010s. The man is meant to play a major role in the timeline, and despite the abhorrent crimes he commits, he must stay alive.

Of these crimes involves sex trafficking/pimping out addicts from the streets.

Five believing this mission would be a quick, easy task. Routine. He's seen and protected horrible people, and he's also killed innocent people. All for the timeline. All to get back home and back to the family.

Unfortunately, while working undercover, he comes across some of the victims. Amongst them was a boy, young - maybe early 20s, he assumes. His skinny lanky frame making him seem small and fragile despite his tall frame. It takes a minute, maybe more, to see the the familiar green eyes, mop of curls that he remembers could never be tamed and the flash of his wrist exposing a tattoo identical to his own.

For a second, Five feels his breath stop along with his heart stop. His eyes wide, and normally quick mind screeching to a halt.

AU where Five has to make a hard desicion

Spoiler stuff if i ever write this. None of this is edited, im genuinely just dumping ideas on my phone and storing it somewhere I do not forget

Some notes to remember (spoilers??? If i ever write this out)

Older Five, fic maybe in all or mostly thru his POV

Five must work undercover to protect the crime lord, acting as a right hand man for the man and needing to uncover who may kill the drug lord. Truly heinous shit involving drugs and sex trafficking.

Five has learnt to compartmentalize, keeping his emotions down despite the cruelty shown before him. Really dark stuff involving the events he witnesses.

Deciding where he wants to find Klaus as theres a bunch of options tho leaning towards being shown thru photos or thru a showcase where he's being sold.

Five knows that this is the Handler's sadistic way of testing his loyalty. He knows it.

He knows he shouldn't meddle. He needs to keep away.

But 45+ years of without his siblings has made the yearning strong. The need to protect. He knows Klaus will be there at the end for whe Five will return. He knows from burying an older version under hot rubble and dirt.

He knows.

But at what cost.

Against better judgement, he ends up talking to him, singling him out while undercover. His yearning to protect becomes stronger, and he knows this is dangerous, that he needs to focus only on the mission, to protect a man he so desperately wants to kill.

He needs to focus.

But he also needs to save his brother.

More stuff i think id want to add:

Five first thinking that Klaus is hallucinating but ends up discovering Ben

Klaus not recognizing Five at first due to the latter being 45+ years old (klaus later making a quip about Five needing a better skin care regime - and yes klaus is still a shit despite everything). Its only until much later that Klaus sees signs and Ben finding out and reporting back to Klaus - this makes things worse for Five when Klaus begs him to help him

Five having to witness the shit being done knowing that his younger brother has gone thru and will go thru the same unless he intervenes. But he cannot without getting on the Commissions radar

Vanyas book not yet written - in the original timeline, klaus escapes a year or so later as he dies (tho unaware) from an overdose and is body discarded as he was presumed dead. The book comes out after. Five doesn't mention the book.

ETA: may write a scene in a sequel of Klaus finding the book in Five's things - and despite the messy equations and writing littering the pages and the general state of the book, goes down a spiral. Five having to comfort Klaus, but unsure how as the book was (is) important for figuring out how the stop the apocolypse, his loyalty to Vanya but also because the book is biased and unfair towards klaus and the other siblings

Scene where Klaus ends up getting killed early due to being assumed as a spy. Lots of guilt and angst as Five blames himself

Five ends up killing the drug lord. Finds Klaus alive - discovering immortality

Commission not happy - more trouble

Five can no longer bear to leave his brother - too much has happened and every part of Five yearns to protect his brother from the world.

Handler intervenes and, despite her taunts and cruelty, tells Five that the Commission will allow Klaus to come back to work alongside Five due to the unforeseen potential in his immortality

Five knows, though he doesnt say, that the Commission now has found a tangible weakness that could be use to manipulate Five. Despite this, he turns to Klaus and grips his hand, unwilling to let go.

Klaus agrees, albeit because he knows he has little choice.

Potential promise from the Commission for help with Klaus' powers

Maybe a prequel cuz i would love to write some bits of missions the two must go on and potentially apocolypse week

Older brother five and younger brother klaus- Would be funny to see, i think, this dynamic when they return back to the timeline with now five physically younger. May make klaus his age that his body was last in or also have the equations mess up and he is also little

Maybe its own one shot fic, maybe in the apocolypse fic -

After the death of the crime lord, many of the victims are set free with the police alerted. The undercover fbi/police that were taking the drug lord down (that Five was meant to protect him from) take down part of the ring and discover the major drug shipment. Along with this, the pictures of the victims that were used to sell them were uncovered through files/dark web

Diego, working on the force at the time, training under a detective to help uncover allies and connection to the ring and locate missing victims and/or where the bodies are being dumped, though the detective notes that most of these victims are addicts and/or prostitutes, easy victims who won't be missed

Diego looking through the files of the victims, locations and of the identified bodies. It's where he discovers pictures of Klaus (similar pictures to the one Five has seen in the first part). He is amongst the unidentified victims.

Cue angst. Klaus has been under the ring for over a year and has left with Five only weeks ago. Diego searching for his brother, only to come up short. Klaus is presumed dead or taken somewhere else. Diego is unsure which is worse

His vigilantism gets worse - he attempts to contact the others but it doesnt work.

At this point, Vanya publishes her book the following year. This leads to Diego to further spiral, dropping out of the police Academy
