honestly, if i succeed in fulfilling myself that you replied, it'll raise my faith a little bit when/if I see that you replied.

I've been on this journey for the longest time I'm talking divineangelbee, planet, cine, bibi, dreamgrlsworld, daphne, the void obsession, the alpha waves, the mindless or just feeling while affirming, the self and void concept challenges for 2 weeks, and now applying states after edward art and neville and having things click with aphroditeapprentice and blushydior etc ; applying for months. But guess what idk what is happening and what's holding me back!

i know that if i was in the state, I obviously wouldn't be sending this message but since it doesn't matter what I do in the 3D and my human self wants to ask for help, I will ask for guidance.

I've even fulfilling myself, returning to the wish fulfilled whenever I think of my desire, I prioritize the inner man over getting physical results but you know, if someone was doing it right, it would reflected by now right? of course it would because it's the law.

I don't why it hasn't done so yet and l'm slowly and at the same time very quickly losing my faith because it's been like what, 2/3 years since I found out about the law from tumblr? I KNOW I'm meant to be living my dream life in a little cottage in Europe or big mansion in LA, I KNOW I was meant to succeed and live a life of my dreams because I deal with hard things in my life, I AM! MEANT TO SUCCEED. but what am I doing wrong if it's been months of fulfilling myself that it should've been my dominant state already? I feel good and every time I doubt, I know and tell myself that I ALREADY experience my desire in imagination and it HAS to reflect?

I'm going to try my best to answer this without further confusing you so sit tight and in the case that I do bring forward any confusion, do let me know.

In a nutshell, the point of manifesting (or moreso the purpose of life itself) is to appease hunger. That is, to free yourself from the feeling of desire (wanting something) by giving it to yourself whether it's money, the mansion, the dream life, appearance, I could go on and on because whatever you want to acquire is possible of being acquired (because imagination is limitless). If you know the law, you know imagination creates reality so imagination will always be your workshop and that is essentially how you change self (I AM).

Imagination isn't separate from reality because imagination is reality itself. Man's greatest downfall has been to separate the two as completely independent when that could not be further from the truth. When you turn to imagination and you use it to think about what it would feel like to have the face card and the mansion and the dream life, you are present in that moment to the point where it feels like a real experience. If you allow yourself to bask in the feeling of the wish fulfilled, it's as real of an experience as you reading this very post. Neville has previously discussed procuring the wish fulfilled in a way as if you are traveling through time to the end and witnessing the outcome firsthand, then you make your way back to the present and trust that it will unfold as you experienced. It's like when you watch a film you've previously watched and you already know what the ending is, you don't stop to think what could happen, you already know what will because you saw it yourself.

If time is a relevant concern for you and you're looking around to see if it's there, I'm afraid to say you haven't fully yielded to it. You simply thought of it and not from it. If you experienced it and knew that it was done, you would be appeased from hunger and you wouldn't desire it anymore. How could you want something you already have? Time is an obstacle that is standing in between you and the state of consciousness that asserts you as being someone who has the desire in question already in their possession. When you nail yourself to that state and I mean you fully yield yourself to it to the point where you don't feel separate from it anymore, the feeling of desire will vanish. You don't care about time, you don't care about the senses, nothing moves you. Why would it if you know it's yours? (Hint: this is the Sabbath)

I constantly receive so, so many "I did all of this, why hasn't it happened?" questions and I believe you when you say you really gave it your entire heart, but you should sit and ask yourself genuinely if you actually focused more on the thing itself versus quenching the desire you have for it.

I'm here once again to swear by the State Akin To Sleep and why I love it so much. I won't repeat the process since I went into it quite extensively so I highly suggest you read the post.

When I started understanding the SATS through the idea of it as "praying", it made so much more sense to me. You're not visualizing to get, you're visualizing to feel its reality so desire vanishes. If you use imagination to feel its reality (believe that you have received it), the 3D will follow and it shall materialize. This is one of the reasons why I love the state akin to sleep so much. It's such a simple and easy way to define the end and identify yourself with it.

When I use the SATS, I let myself sit with the wish fulfilled by thinking of what the end would look like, what would I hear, who would I be with, what would I see, etc. and I focus on it until I'm consumed by the feeling and acceptance of it and then bring myself back. I trust that my prayer has been answered because I felt the reality of it, so that must mean it's already mine. If for some reason I would feel doubtful or separate from that state of consciousness, I would simply induce the state again and focus on its reality. Do this as many times as you need to until you no longer feel compelled to because you're certain that your prayer has been heard (See: the Sabbath).

I highly encourage you to assess how you're going about manifesting and to use the State Akin To Sleep to catch the mood so you can nail yourself to it. You said it best yourself, you were meant to succeed and live the life of your dreams. Remember that failure is only an option if you let it be one. Don't give up, my love <3

I am taking your ask because this ABSOLUTELY needs to be addressed. Your question is a prime example of why I made that post in the first place. So many of you are completely missing the point: this is not just about "fanfic drama" between two people anymore. The main post that detailed all the leaked text messages is WILD to me, because while they revealed some nasty mean girl behaviour from some, it also showed a blatant display of participation and encouragement in bullying, harassment, and racism from everyone involved. And yet, the most disturbing part is the reaction from your community. It's beyond baffling atp!

To answer your question in a nutshell, I joined this fandom after all that drama went down. When those texts came out, I was honestly confused and had to reach out to my own desi community to figure out what was going on. Turns out at the time, Shruie mentioned getting racist attacks but Bel had everyone convinced she was lying - and since Shruie was a considerably smaller blog, she was ostracized and her concerns were brushed off as mere ploy to get attention and sympathy. And now, with the recent revelation of Bel's use of rat emojis, do you see why that part is crucial here? Can you grasp why even the slightest knowledge of Bel's despicable behaviour is significant here? And, do you comprehend how the lack of condemnation only perpetuates a culture of racist hatred towards this person of colour? It's time to confront and acknowledge these issues head-on.

This drama happened back in July of LAST YEAR (?) and now it's being leaked? And you expect us to just forgive and forget because they made up with one person involved? Sorry, I'm not buying it. They only reached out to the victim because they had a falling out with the main perpetrator. If they truly take responsibility for their actions, then GOOD! But excuse me for being wary of this community who will coddle these grown ass women to tell them repeatedly how they are an “integral part of this fandom” or how they “meant well” while making these mistakes over and over again.

Some of us don't see this as just a petty fanfic squabble anymore. And if you still don't see it, then I don't expect you ever will. Your biases blind you - and frankly, I no longer have any interest in trying to make you see. This ain't my first rodeo with people who want to jump on the anti-racism train but are actually part of the problem. My post was meant to call out the toxic behavior that has gone unchecked for too long. Grace, @the-heartlines said it perfectly, so I'm linking her post here for those who need it spelled out more eloquently. This isn't about the fanfic community - because let's be real, I'm not even a part of it. Do you have an ultimate all time fave Troy scene that you could gush about forever?

Oh god that's such a difficult question. Honest answer would be 'no' because I just cannot choose. I have *so many* favorite Troy scenes that I love to go on and on about. Like, really, I think every ep he is in, I've got at least(!!) one scene I could gush about. I mean, I can't even tell you which ep I love him most in.

Though I do have at least two eps my mind goes to first when asked for favorite Troy scenes - ep 9 and ep12. And again, there's a lot of scenes to love in there but I think most about ep 9 is the confrontation with Madison (and, of course, stabbing his hand on Klah's knife. gotta love that enthusiasm). He's so vulnerable during it, like we get another little puzzle piece of his rich inner life that he keeps so closely guarded (ok or maybe it's also that he wasn't really a hm POV character or someone we should sympathize with that's why his... reasoning or motivation for a lot of things stayed hidden from us 🤷‍♀️). Anyway, the way he says "is that guilt" and "you let *your son* shoot him" (im obsessed) jesus there's a lot going on there. It seems like betrayal a bit (see also "i thought you were cold-blooded"). Also note how he's more fixated/upset over that part, Nick (and not Madison!) shooting Jeremiah instead of, you know, Jeremiah having been shot/murdered.

Also the infamous "I don't surrender" line, I mean, that's Troy in a nutshell, isn't it? No matter what is thrown his way, no matter how people treat him, he tries and tries again. He does so with Madison (I mean, right before she kills him he tries to move past all that shit right, tries again to connect with her), he also did so with his father, staying loyal to him, obedient, through all that abuse and humiliation and belittlement. I think the same is also true for his relationship with Jake, even though the cracks there can be seen, and also for his relationship with the people on the ranch at large. They talk about him, too, but he still protects them - I mean until he led the horde there, of course. But by that point he was dealing with a lot - his father's death, his own exile, Madison's 'betrayal'.... Anyway, I don't surrender, that is so very Troy. And maybe sometimes he'd like to surrender, give up and be done with everything but that's just not in his nature. Probably why he can't kill himself. Why he also keeps going, when Nick tells him "you can sleep when you're dead". Try, try again, even when people keep beating him down. Downright endearing if it weren't so heartbreaking.

Anyway, ep 9. The scene with Madison. I got distracted. The way he goes "hi" after he's done hitting Klah. The way he kept jabbing at her over Jeremiah's death "You hit your quota?" when she tells him "no more killing" (hahahah makes me laugh every time). The way the gun does not impress him at all. Just casually walking up to her. Mostly sure she won't kill him but I think he wouldn't have minded if she had, either. The voice break when he tells her "i know what you did". The expression he makes when he asks "and why wasn't it" after she goes "It should've been me". There's that betrayal. Sadness. Ok maybe also because his dad died. Maybe because they kept it from him. Maybe because she didn't ask *him* to do it.

And then, the very incomprehensible (he is the one that isn't comprehending. but then also he is. this is how it always goes, why would it be different with madison) "i thought you wanted me with you". As he asks he knows already she doesn't. But again, he's trying as much as he can, to get through to her. Until the heartbreaking "I'm tired. I'm so tired." That's probably as close as he gets in asking for help. He did it with Nick too later, in ep 12 ("I need sleep" he told him but he meant rest). He thought he'd die and these people just refuse to get the job done and so he has to live, live with all this loss and he just, he needs a break. So desperately that he says one of the most vulnerable things (so far). "Im so tired." Unfortunately Madison either doesn't hear it, or, more likely, doesn't think she can give in to that (no wonder, he did just attack her after all). And when that fails, this cry for help (in like Troy-speak), he goes. What else is there to do? He'll go and survive because that's what he does.

Now, ep 12, I love the confrontation between Jake and Troy (the little convo in between, between Nick and Troy - "murder, you really wanna go there, nick?" "still ricocheting in your skull, nick?" "you tell it best, nick. I don't want to steal your thunder" "don't say sorry to me, say sorry to him". It's lovely, all of it). And then of course the sibling confrontation. Also very lovely. We see Jake finally giving in to what he's wanted to do for a long time, I wager. He has been fed up with Troy since ep 1 (and before that too, I'm sure. Their interactions do tease a history between them).

"I love that sound" - also very much a contender for favorite line. Also gotta admit I thought he'd say something different (and more uh x-rated) when he went "I love that sound some love when a ball hits the fat of a bat, you know" Anyway, just another reminder that Troy loves all things to do with danger and control. (And I don't even think this has to be in the obvious way, where he loves to be in control, though I'm sure he does. But that he also loves the loss of it when in danger. When at the recieving end of a gun (you best believe I've got a story for this, too, 'fool me twice'... I'm sorry, I cannot stop the shameless self promotion....))

Also I just noticed, how he says "It's eviction or extinction" and you know who else got famously uhm evicted. Adam and Eve. So yeah, when he says "this is biblical" to Nick, the night before, to warn him, he really means it like that.

And then the bit between the two brothers. How Jake tries to impress upon Troy he'll really kill him "I'll shoot you brother, I will" and how Troy *doesn't even hesitate* to pull the trigger himself, almost like saying "fucking do it then". Or he is mocking him. Probably both, considering it's Troy. And he was right, wasn't he, to be mocking. Because Jake doesn't kill him (yet). But Troy tries to rile him up further. He almost sounds panicked in a way, but not in fear of his life. Maybe in fear of Jake *not* going through with it after all.

And then their whole rabbit bit, how Troy looks at Jake while he goes "rabbits they, they scream like human beings", that calculating look. How he interrupts Jake with this mocking laugh and a "oh, tell me about the rabbits" Jake is totally ignoring Troy's interruption, going "I still protected him" and Troy telling him "You left me, brother." And then Jake again, insistently "I always protected you!" and Troy isn't saying anything to that but he doesn't look amused anymore. God I wish Nick would've shut up so we'd really get into their grievances between the brothers. But sadly (or maybe not so sadly haha) he wanted to save Troy because he was feeling guilty about killing his dad. And it gave Troy the perfect opportunity to torture Nick about this, also very enjoyable. All in all, a great interaction all around.

Oh and of course the "you thinking of checking out? we could do it together" has me chanting death-wish, death-wish, death-wish hahahaha. I do think he'd have liked it to go together with his brother. It's sweet somehow. In a way it feels like he wants to help his brother on this journey. Like, then his death means something. And then how he licks his lips when Jake gets ready to shoot him. Is it anticipation, fear? Who knows. Would love to ask Daniel about it...

AND ALSO THE TITLE 'Brother's Keeper', that's a biblical phrase “Am I my brother’s keeper?” Cain said to God when God asked him where Abel was (and Cain had killed him). So I wonder, is Jake Cain then? I mean Jake *does* die and Cain, well, famously does not. But then, it's not Troy that kills Jake. It's Nick hitting Jake before Jake can kill Troy. Would Jake have even killed Troy? I'm not sure. I'm just sure that Troy would rather have died himself than seeing Jake die... anyway, "Am I my brother's keeper" I think this question taken at face value is actually Jake's gripe with Troy. That he feels he is made responsible (probably from a young age, given the little glimpse into the past we got via those video tapes) for keeping Troy in check. While, I imagine, Troy doesn't really listen to Jake (and Jake has no real power over Troy so he can reinforce his will), so a thoroughly frustrating experience for Jake, all in all. And yes, maybe this, assembling a horde and leading it to the ranch, would've given him enough motivation to be able to uhm enforce his will. But maybe not. I guess that's me saying, love the title, love also how we get a bit more insight into the brotherly relationship. Though I *so* wish we got into it even more. Like what did Troy mean when he said "Oh, tell me about the rabbits". Sounds like there's a story there (and yes I did try to imagine it in my story 'childhood memories').

🇷🇺: Давайте я немного расскажу об одном проекте, который я планирую реализовывать здесь.

"Мое прошлое" — это мой первый комикс по Countryhumans. События разворачиваются в двух временных промежутках: Первая мировая война и нулевые года 21 века. Сюжет рассказывает историю об империях и нынешних странах и их противостоянии за то, кому принадлежит настоящее и будущее мира.

Одной из особенностей является то, что в комиксе задействованы преимущественно мои хэдканоны, которые в основном отличаются от "общепринятых", а также сделан упор на историю, но с моей интерпретацией. Проще говоря, целью является создание историко-художественного произведения со странолюдьми.

Планирую начать работать над проектом уже в этом году на русском языке (к сожалению, пока неизвестно, будет ли перевод на английский). Признаюсь честно, до этого у меня не было полноценного опыта в создании комиксов, но я буду стараться, чтобы работа была качественной.

"My Past" is my first Countryhumans comic. Events unfold in two time periods: the First World War and the 2000's. The plot tells the story of empires and modern countries and their confrontation over who owns the present and future of the world.

One of the features is that the comic uses mainly my headcanons, which mostly differ from the “generally accepted” ones, and also focuses on the history, but with my interpretation. In nutshell, the goal is to create a historical and artistic work with Countryhumans.

I plan to start working on the project this year in Russian (unfortunately, it isn't yet known whether there will be a translation into English). To be honest, before this I didn't have full experience in creating comics, but I'll try to ensure that the work is of high quality.

You wrote once, something I interpreted that when choosing partners/friends we can look for confirmation of ourselves by choosing personality types that are very similar or opposites, so that they complement us Ok, I'm an ENTJ and I try to make a good connection with every personality type, thanks to this blog I'm able to appreciate something in everyone However, I have noticed that I am by far the most fond of ENTP, ENFP, INTJ, INFJ, INTP. With the rest, it is rather difficult for them to really like me Assuming we are trying to win the favour of each personality type, what does it say about us which types like us and which don't? Are there cognitive functions which are crucial?

What is motivating your question? Why do you think it's important to try and make a good connection with every personality type? What are you hoping to achieve exactly? It is necessary to ask because some people are obsessed about being liked by everyone, some people can't handle being disliked, some people get a kick out of being able to "conquer" others, etc. I'm not saying any of these apply to you; I'm only making the point that it's important to be completely transparent about your motivation. If it's coming from a less than wholesome place, it might lead you in the wrong direction, developmentally.

Perhaps you hope to improve your ability to connect with people because you genuinely care about forming healthy relationships with them. If that's the case:

There are qualities and virtues you can nurture to make yourself a better friend, companion, or helper. For example: loyalty, trustworthiness, reliability, warmth, kindness, supportiveness, agreeableness, cooperativeness, patience, compassion, tolerance, acceptance, inclusivity, authenticity, integrity, sincerity, openness, curiosity, adaptability, humor.

There are skills you can build to facilitate the formation of meaningful relationships such as: listening, conversation, communication, conflict resolution, emotional intelligence, empathy or perspective taking, problem solving.

By working on these things, you generally become a more attractive friend or companion, and people will naturally be more drawn to you. In a nutshell, no matter the type, if people feel at ease and even feel good about being in your presence, they'll want to be around you more.

The list of types you are fond of is fairly predictable. They include all your fellow NTs (same temperament). They are all N types, which speaks to a disconnect with Sensing and Sensors. Among them, only two are Fs, but it is no coincidence that they are the very two F types that most closely resemble NTs. This speaks to a disconnect with Feeling and Feelers.

These patterns seem to suggest that lack of development of your lower two functions sometimes impedes your ability to get along better with the types that didn't make your list. As your type development progresses, assuming it progresses well, you should get a better and better idea of how to appeal to Sensors and Feelers. It is not a matter of me telling/teaching you what to do. It is a matter of you being able to truly identify with them. Appreciating things about people, as though they are an object of art, isn't the same as really understanding and deeply relating with them.

Perhaps you want to know if there is anything about your ENTJness that is repelling certain types. From the feedback I've heard about ENTJs in general, one of the issues at the heart of their relationship conflicts is a lack of understanding. People feel as though the ENTJ doesn't really know them, either because the ENTJ simply can't or they won't make the effort. This is not entirely the fault of ENTJs. With inferior Fi, it is genuinely difficult for them to understand people sometimes. Maybe it helps to think of the inferior function as a kind of "disability", which means we all have this disability. You have to learn to accept it and find ways to compensate as necessary.

Your question also seems to be about the mysterious idea of relationship "chemistry". It is a complicated concept because there are numerous factors that play into it, some of which are beyond awareness and control. Yes, function compatibility plays a role as mentioned, but sometimes it is a small role compared to more pressing factors such as attachment style or very specific personal/psychological needs that remain hidden from public view.

If you've put in a reasonable effort to reduce function misuse and mitigate the negative characteristics of your type, then you ought to feel good about the positive aspects of your ENTJness and wear them proudly. However, remember that some people will be put off not only by your negative ENTJ characteristics, but also the positive ones, because they are suffering personality development issues that distort positives into negatives. For example, some people see "kindness" and call it "weakness", because they have some deeper issue of fearing exploitation. These psychological issues create a wall in relationships and there's not much you can do about them because you aren't the right person to change their mind. The existence of these psychological walls means some people just aren't relationship-ready, unable to meet you halfway no matter how much effort you put in.

An important aspect of being good at relationships is understanding when a relationship isn't meant to be. You can't compel people to like you. With inferior Fi, it might be difficult for you to fully grasp, but some people like what they like and they just don't like you. There may be no rhyme or reason other than it is just their preference and you don't meet it. If someone just loves apples, you shouldn't blame yourself for not being an apple. There's nothing you can do about such cases because it's really not about you on any personal level. When there is a lack of chemistry and it doesn't appear to be anyone's fault or doing, it's best to accept the fact and move on.

A review of Knight Terrors: Punchline 1 & 2

So I was going to just post a review of Knight Terrors: Punchline #2 today but then I figured why not go ahead and talk more about both issues? Before I start though I wanna just compliment Danny Lore, Lucas Meyer, & Alex Guimarães. They came together to make a REALLY great pair of comics

So the issues follow the pretty basic set up of all the Knight Terrors tie ins. The protag of the book falling asleep, being subjected to whatever they were fearing at the moment, and then eventually fighting them off. Where these two set themselves apart though is the execution. I don't really have a reason to bring it up here, but if you follow me on my main, you might know I'm a MASSIVE horror fan. A fact that has lead me to feeling pretty let down by this event as a whole. Sure, some of the stuff being shown in the other books is creepy, but scary? Nope! Which isn't a slight at the other writers at all, a lot of them are pretty good and even some of the other Knight Terrors books are fun, it's just hard to write really good horror. Danny thought? They absolutely nailed it. Working off some pretty logical and, I'd say, relatable fears to tell the story and explore Alexis's perspective as much as you can in just two issues

Another thing I think this book has over others, and again no shade, is really subtle bits of dream logic in the art. Costumes not being quite right in photos, things notably shifting to afford you a better look when you want to see something from another angle. All those little things your brain plasters over It's a smart touch!

But that all leads to the question of what Alexis fears. It's a couple things, nothing that the solicits said, the first is pretty simple- Surveillance.

I've seen a few people complain about Babsgirl's inclusion in this, myself included, but it really makes sense with how the book presents it. It's not Babs, it's the surveillance she has.

Like love her or hate her Oracle has a genuinely horrifying level of control over the internet, and when you think about that constant threat of violence that molded Alexis into what she is? OFC she'd worry about that when she finds out just what she's been living under for life.

So yeah the big Batgirl monster isn't Babs it's the concept of surveillance like we're in the middle of a Magnus Archives episode. I also like that it does, ultimately, play into her second fear: A lack of control.

(I don't wanna post too many full pages, but this one is too good not to drop in full)

But yeah control, and the fear of losing it, really does make sense for Alexis. Losing control of the narrative, the small amount of safety she's literally paid for with blood, it's perfect.

Most of the second issue is a fight, alongside what I mentioned before, but one thing I really appreciate that got lost in Gotham Game is the fact that Alexis refuses to just die despite fantasizing about it

Out of all of the clowns she is the one trying to expose a message and she's not going to stop I dunno if her using broken glass to try and fight even when she's as good as dead is an explicit reference to the Orca fight in Joker #3 or a happy accident, but either way it rules.

And that's it in a nutshell. An expertly done two issue book with some phenomenal art and coloring that handles Alexis pretty much perfectly.

Seriously DC I'd buy every variant of an ongoing with this creative team I NEED it

The Book of Job, chapters 4-5

Eliphaz the Temanite is a stupid C-nt

Before fullying analyzing these two chapters where Eliphaz ventures to argue with his friend Job about Job's really dark viewpoint, the quote that really gets me is "See how happy is the man whom G-d reproves, Do not reject the discipline of the Almighty" which is something that you can sew into a pillow and give to Grandma and it sounds nice. (5: 17-18 if you really want to do that) but the fact that it comes from the Book of Job should tell you that it's a perilous venture to quote it out of context.

Actually quoting the Bible out of context is a bullshit exercise that people should fucking stop. But I guess I'm howling in the wind since they are calling Bible Thumpers, not Bible Readers.

This is actually a shitty thing to say to anyone. If someone is relatively happy and their life is going well, then you are basically saying that they aren't truly happy until their wife leaves them and they lose their job. But to say it to someone going throught trauma? Fuck you. It's the ancient equivalent of "G-d doesn't give you more than you can handle" or "Everything happens for a reason". It's a stupid fucking thing to say to anyone who is going through a rough patch.

It's fucking evil to say it to a guy whose children just died as he lost all of his money and his health is failing. So that's Eliphaz in a nutshell. Eliphaz is all full of cute little aphorisms and well meaning phrases that help no one but Eliphaz. He sure feels better about himself.

So let's review Eliphaz's rejoinder to Job anger over being born (and over the Leviahan not being let loose to prevent such a horrible moment in his life).

Chapter 4 (remember these are Christian standards but sometimes the Christians can make things easier) starts with Eliphaz claiming that he's reluctant to talk but then upbraids Job for being so helpful to other people in their suffering and now that Job is suffering he's inconsolable? This is rather dickish, but Eliphaz isn't your standard "well I guess all of your comforting words don't work" jerk. He's actually trying to get Job to summon all the strength that Job doesn't have and then goes "what innocent man has ever perished?" which seems perilously close to the Christian beliefs that we are all damned and wicked and awful. He then talks about lions being humbled and what comes around goes around.

So he's saying that Job is somehow guilty.

The rest of the chapter seems like the Christian doctrine where Eliphaz claims to have heard a word, a rumor, something on the wind that told him that no one really measurs up to G-d so of course everyone dies.

The fifth chapter is a ramping up of this belief. Vexation kills a fool. Eliphaz once saw a fool and cursed him. Also foolishness and mischief are man made. And why is Job so smug as to want to judge God who makes rains and saves the needy.

Which brings us back to the shitty quote where Eliphaz says that G-d is justly punishing him and that this is a good thing. Then Eliphaz promises that G-d will make certain that Job is protected. He will save you from the sword; he will protect you from famine and you'll be old and happy.

Just like G-d did with Job's sons. You stupid fuck.

Note that Eliphaz is hitting on the ultimate speech of G-d about how much G-d has to do and how little Job gets of it, but then Eliphaz goes and says that Job deserved and it and that it's cool because that's just punishment and now G-d will totally make things right for Job.

Fuck you Eliphaz.

PERSONALITY: 

An important facett about her personality is that she is a wildcard. Chaotic, if you will. Depending on the circumstances, she can be bubbly and caring, or violently unhinged. Her villainous infamy is trademarked by small-scaled, various violent crimes and the unique power of inducing her victims into permanent delirium. She'll steal the things she wants, destroy property for the thrill of it, seek cruel vengeance, get into petty fights that may or may end up with a homicide charge, and go along in whatever supervillain plans her husband wants to do. 

However, she is not pure evil. In fact, there are times she will play the anti-hero when protecting the few people she deeply cares about. Ironically, though, her most brutal and enraged side comes out when protecting or avenging others, going even as far as torture. In a nutshell, she is capable of absolute hatred and absolute love. Another tid-bit is that she isn't inclined to harm small children and especially the elderly. They're her soft spot. She is also a firm believer of respecting elders, and that bleeds into her relationship, as it is a part of the reason she behaves moderately submissive to him. If given absolutely no other choice, she will cast away her limitations, and will harm anyone and anything in defense. 

Delia into mod fashion and all things about the Swinging London era. She could tell you all her favorite iconic fashion icons and photographers. She would very much do away with her American citizenship to permanently live in England if given the chance. If she wasn’t living with Mod, she’d take the leap. She likes to say she keeps it groovy. She’ll happily throw on a record of her favorite British Invasion boy band, particularly The Animals or The Beatles, and bust out some gogo dance moves in her carefully polished boots. She’s always enthusiastic to learn something new about 60s/70s culture and British culture from Mod. She also enjoys girly-girl things, like cute animals, plushies, sweets, cheesy romance movies, etc. On the other hand, she can be masculine in the sense of gleefully downing a bottle of straight vodka, cursing like a sailor, and having a vulgar sense of humor. Courtesy of growing up in a rough area. She does try to behave more lady-like around Mod. She’s real easy to please, as she can’t help but make it glaringly clear what her favorite things are.

She is an introvert- and also autistic, hence the obsessive and odd behaviors and of course explains the introversion. She prefers keeping a small social circle and having routine. She’d rather have a party within her own home with a friend or two- or even by herself. If she can, she likes having time to recharge after some action. She consumes a lot of caffeine to keep up the mental energy, and Mod’s extroversion and aiding in his work, which in turn makes her an insomniac. She masks her obvious dark circles and overall frail look with makeup and flashy outfits. When she does finally go to bed, usually when she gets cranky, she throws on a comfy robe and socks, and crashes. God help anyone that disturbs her sleep. Often Mod has to berate her to go to bed, and sometimes helps her get into a relax state to be able to do so.

She is somewhat a Yandere. She will kill for him and eliminate any “competition”. Jealousy is not something she takes lightly. I say somewhat yandere, because while she is more obsessive than the average significant other, and again, would hurt others for him, she doesn’t hold the common yandere tropes of isolating her partner, stalking, kidnapping- whatever sort of thing that disrespects his boundaries.

Due to her past abuse from other men and being a repressed romantic her entire life, the thought of losing him is one of the few fears she still has. This can be of a flaw, however, in that she has trouble regulating her emotions in an event he is harmed by someone, or in active trouble, or another person tries to swoon him.

She showers him with compliments, giving him gifts, and doing favors for him such as preparing tea and cleaning. In turn, this feeds Mod's ego, his mad desire to be adored. On the other side of the coin, it is heartwarming to his usually cruel soul. There is a specific, special feeling for him because he doesn't have to use mind control, or even be dashingly young, to receive affection. He doesn't have to make a show for her- although she does rave for his theatrics. He is secure in the fact that she is a faithful partner. 

She feels that she owes him for bringing her a form of happiness she never got to have. She is eternally grateful to finally have a man to fill that lonely hole within her and respect her as a person. 

SMALL BIT OF THE LORE + SUPERHUMAN STUFF:

Grew up in the midwest America, far away from Jump City, in another city where the chaos of giant monsters crushing buildings and superheros are a rarity. The worst comes from the usual human behavior. It is much poorer, with gray skies, a real rough area, but brimming with all sorts of different faces and subcultures. Like most up and coming villains, she was faced with repeated abuse in the past. The trifecta of verbal, sexual, and physical abuse. In effect, she developed a very timid nature, suffering with PTSD. She only went outside unless she absolutely had to. She yearned to be able to speak her mind and stand her ground. She yearned the most to find a warm lover, but, of course, was avoidant of seeking such a thing since she was completely jaded. Over time, a strong feeling of rage and severe distaste for certain people brewed within her, but never was to be lashed out. 

Despite all these issues, she still carried a degree of happiness and engaged in the things that made her feel as such. And enthusiastically she did. She especially enjoyed collecting things, jamming out to music, having a few drinks, smoking the occasional joint, and watching lots of television. A highly hedonistic youthful girl. Small and short pleasures to mask the emptiness.

At age 18, during a cold winter, she discovers Mad Mod on a mock tv series about the Teen Titans and becomes smitten by him. She went ahead and researched everything she could get her hands on about his real life counterpart. He had been an infamous villain for decades, so there was no shortage of information. She day dreamed of being with him, made artworks, and owned collectibles. She was viewed as odd for being a fan of a villain instead of a hero like everyone else. 

Two years later, at age 20, on one fateful night, she decides to dabble in psychedelics as another new pleasure to indulge. She tries out special mushrooms. But mistakenly consumes an extreme heavy dose, sending her down a deep trip full of hallucinations that lasted for days. She goes on a deep reflection of herself, opening parts of her being that she did not want to face- particularly her crippling fear of the world and the emotional pains of her past. She was also propelled to open up her darkest desires- a need for strength, a need to be able to defend herself, a need to sadistically punish those who dare wrong her with a smile, a need for absolute freedom to do what she pleases- nobody being able to overpower her anymore. 

This metaphorically and literally opened her third eye. Her brain became chemically altered by the drugs, unlocking psychic abilities and bringing her insanity full-force to the surface. With her eye, hidden under her bangs, it gives all those cool psychic senses. These senses being: lie detection, danger detection, she cannot be surprised (in example, someone cannot sneak up behind, she'll sense someone is near), and she can read clear emotions, even if someone is trying to hide them. She is not powerful enough to predict the future. EDIT: I suppose she technically can, but it's by a few seconds at best. Ex: Yanks someone from stepping out in the road a moment before a car races by.

Another part is that with the tap of her eye, she can summon it into a staff-like form. It is dubbed The Ultraviolent, and it certainly lives up its name. This staff can shift into multiple different weapons. 

The strongest ability is that the eye of the staff, if made contact with another pair of eyes, and if she directly wants it to happen, can induce an acid-like trip that makes her enemies trapped in an intense and permanent state of delirium. To paint a better picture: paranoia, vivid hallucinations (hard to fight if you're feeling bugs crawling under your skin or believe there's a creepy figure standing in the corner!), incoherent thinking (aka confusion), slurred speech, etc…. That is her go-to power move, if she feels like a quick death isn't enough justice. 

A couple of other things it can do: shoot out laser beams, along with her regular eyes. If spun around and slammed down, it can create a shock wave. This is a very limited range and strength, though. It cannot knock down large buildings, but can leave cracks in the street, destroy things like trees and portions of homes, and certainly knock a group of people back. As for the weapons she can shift UV into, they are: a sword, a dagger knife, a metal bar that can give electric shocks if switched on, a handgun, and a shotgun. These work like any other ordinary gun or sword. 

And none of these can be used by others. It is connected to her. It is but a hunk of junk in other hands. She can also levitate it back to her via telekinesis. She cannot use telekinesis for anything else.  

Since it is essentially a body part, the eye moves along with the other two. It hurts if her third eye gets poked with anything. If any of her eyes are hurt, even as simple as getting dirt or soap in them, she will become blind for a certain amount of time. Ranging from a few seconds up to a few hours. Obstructing her vision in any way such as being in a pitch-black room or having a blindfold on, can render her powerless. To help with this, she typically wears glasses and places a protective lense on third eye. Of course glasses can fall off and lenses can shatter, so it isn’t full-proof. 

Another weakness is she is sensitive to certain sound frequencies. It "short circuits" her brain, causing searing pain to her eardrums, and knocks up her powers while the sound rings. If the sound goes on for too long, even if it stops, she will have swift "brain zaps" that cause physical tics and screw up both her psychic senses and ordinary human senses. The taste of sweet ice cream could register as tasting like a moldy apple. She could accidentally fire out a laser or bullet. This happens at random. Eventually it goes away, just like her blindness. 

And another strength is that she is immune to mind control. A), It’s not an ordinary mind (ya know the whole psychic thing), and B), her mind has already been warped- so it cannot be manipulated any further.

That's about it.

Shortly before the change, she had begun writing letters to Mad Mod while he was in prison once again. And shortly after the change, she felt empowered enough to scheme a way to break him out and finally meet him. She hadn’t completely fallen in love with him yet, she viewed it as a fangirl and her idol situation- or more so did not realize she truly was until she spent some time with him. The mission was difficult and chaotic, nonetheless, it was a success. That was the start of their meeting. Don’t be mistaken, their history had quite a few heavy bumps in the road before she could win over his heart. But that’s another story for another day ;)

i have a bunch of ocs. Many are still in drafts cuz ive been busy with fan works. But i have two to 3 series one i am trying to turn into an animation series (@the-mis-adventurers ) and another that is gonna be a collab comic series with @strawberry-mangoprincess (she's more active one her Insta compared to me lol) one is just merely a fun concept i think about every now and then.

Overall my ocs are inspired by other fictional characters. mainly from whatever media i consume and enjoy.

Starting with the concept one.

I only have two ocs made for it so far. Ember and Crystal. They are sisters with fire and ice elemental powers hence their names. Ember like fire embers and crystal like ice Crystals. Orphans dunno who there parents were. Not clear if their powers ran in the family/curse/etc.

Ember always had trouble controlling her powers especially with having a fiery temper. She's the more friendlier sibling however. Crystal despises her ice powers. She has an easier time hiding them so she can blend in with normal people. (I gotta draw them again sometime)

Crystal doesnt hate her sister but isn't close to her either. Feeling the need to take care of her since she's the last of kin.

In a nutshell i want this series to be about the power of friendship (i blame my mlp phase for this-)

There's four main characters. All girls bc why not?

Their names are mink, jing, Raine and jennifer.

Mink is the more calm and responsible one out of her friends. Mom friend type. Her hair was actually blonde but turned pink to unknown reasons. (I took inspiration from lofi music when creating her) She proudly owns a pet turtle named fern. Will kick butt if her friends are hurt.

Jing is a goth who enjoys making music. she plans on startd her own band someday. (Eventually she does with her friends. Its called rock n pop. Pending title for now) has a rivalry with another oc of mines, Lillian. Loves to scare the others with pranks and horror movies.

Raine is the artist of the group. She tends to break the fourth wall whenever she wants. Also whatever she draws with her paint brush becomes real. her name is also a pun. Raine strom. (You can see her on my tumblr header harassing my old sona) Very zany in a good way. Has a crush on a dense boi*

Jennifer is a social butterfly. Heart's too big for her sleeve. Pacifist. Tends to let wild animals in the house. And thats how she got a pet goat who may or may not actually be one. Her mother wishes she'd be more responsible.

Now for some reccuring characters-

Lillian - famous star, used to be childhood friends with jing. And now they hate eachothers guts. Primadonna gurrrrllll. All she ever wanted was the worrrrldddd(Took alot of inspiration from the song for her) is an attention hog and will do anything to be popular.

*Milo - Also known as peppermint boi/j. But seriously look at his color pallet-. He does enjoy mints and always passing one out to people. Very dense and doesn't get when he is getting on someone nerves. Just as zany as raine. Uber positive. Don't let him get too excited tho. Cuz he'll LITERALLY explode.

Cole - college drop out. Wonders why the haystack milo and raine won't leave him be. Also tends to be their third wheel on their 'not' dates. He hates it. Very moody. Legend has it he's never laughed or smiled before.

Derek - just some rich dude. Comes up with so many back stories like Horst from ratatouille so its hard to tell which is fake and what is real. Tries really hard for Jennifer to fall for him but doesn't work out.

I already rambled to you about max and min. Buttt I can tell you a it more about them at least about their absent/missing parents

Thymes (pronounced Times) and Divid are the twins and Equan’s Parents.

They are both scientists who worked for [REDACTED]. Thymes and Divid were both pretty much crazy but in a ‘not so dangerous’ type of way.  always ready to invent stuff even if it held no actual purpose.

It did concern them greatly when Equan started going through a Frankenstein phase. At least they assumed it was. Probably didn’t help much they were pretty much working even at home leaving their kids pretty much unattended(And boy oh boy did they learn…)

And sadly disappeared due to unknown circumstances.

As someone who studied PR I always find funny how people react to rumors especially when it comes up from anonymous sources. Let me tell you something, this movie Glen and Sydney did will be the grand come back of Will Gluck on the big screen with a room com of course they need to create a big deal out of it, and the best way is creating a rumor about the two leads having an amazing chemistry. This rumor started from a comment for a new ig profile under Sydney post, just to set the ball rolling. Also don't believe that what actors post during the filming isn't approved by production. Also there was a paps following them in and outside of the set and the only scandalous thing he shot about Glen and Sydney was that hug at the airport... Also you might want to know that deux get paid to post or not post certain things, especially if there are pics involved, it's not a coincidence that she posted that pic NOW and not when it first was sent to her. Her sources are celebrities teams and a lot of times they said the wrong thing just to stir something. And last thing Glen is partially repped by CAA which is famous to do pr stunt like this, and Gigi agency is also affiliated with CAA and let's also consider she recently became friend with a famous photographer repped by CAA too. I know it doesn't seam optimal for publicity but look how much followers they all are gaining for this. I am pretty sure Glen and Gigi were done before this rumor started but their teams asked to keep it quiet for some time. Not trying to influence what people think about all of this just wanted to add fome food for your thoughts

Talking about his wife, Dylan's gaze suddenly became darker. Aiganym leaned in closer to him.

"Is your marriage..."

"Well, it's not really ideal. Hasn't been for a while, but in the past couple of years, it just kept getting worse."

"Do you want to talk about it?"

"In a nutshell, ten years ago, Jessica was a really fun person to be around. A real ball of light and joy. Also a really great girlfriend. I mean, you've seen her... the original peppy villager, if you will. She was a breath of fresh air for me. I never really knew joy in my life growing up, and for the first time, I felt I could truly be happy and let loose. We got married within the first year. But the years passed, and what made me fall in love with her at first became really grating. I've matured in those ten years, even if I spent most of my days at home and left my job so Christie wouldn't go from nanny to daycare every day. Jessica, on the other hand, continued to be social and work and hasn't, or barely, matured. I do love her still, but... am I still in love with her, I don't know. I don't even feel like having sex with her anymore. I can tell it's bothering her, and I suspect she slept with a couple people in the past without really having any proof, but everything about her now just turns me off. I'm already not much of a lovebunny in the first place, but now..."

He paused, then pursued:

"Also, well, I wouldn't say she's stupid, she isn't, but I couldn't have talked about her about the things I talk about with you. Conspiracy theories and all, or just video games or novels. I like fantasy and sci-fi, but she prefers more "mundane" topics in books. I just don't feel we are a match intellectually. It wasn't a problem at first, but that's another thing... two years in, not an issue, I still had my original friends back then. Ten years and two moves in, I wish I could have an actual discussion but I can't, and I lost touch with my friends."

"I feel you..."

"Yeah. The best thing is, she has the guts to tell me how to raise our kid when she's not even there most of the time, and was hardly around back during Christie's first couple years of life. I sometimes was afraid that our daughter would end up dead or injured because of just how irresponsible she was. Once, Christie fell down the stairs because Jessica thought "she could climb them down by herself". Hadn't I been there to catch her, she could've broken her neck. Of course, she loves Christie to death, but I feel she's more a best friend to her than a parent, and we frequently argue over this. But I'm sick of arguing. The good thing is, Christie is a smart kid, and was always one step ahead in terms of maturity. I think I did well raising her, at least. I don't trust Jessica with that. At all."

"I don't know what to tell you, honestly... I can't relate. Me and Beatrice generally have got along, even if we argue here and there about things. We've been married for four years, together for six, and what drew me to her never really got old for me. We also don't want children. We like them, but we both are very conscious of what it implies, and our relationship in itself is already a common project."

"You don't have to relate, really. I think I just needed to tell someone about this. Everytime I did, people said I was being overly dramatic, not to mention the ones who called me a sissy or a for staying at home while my wife works and not the other way around, so I stopped talking to anyone about this. "You should be grateful for such an amazing wife", they say. An amazing wife, sure... she's a great friend, a great talker, very charming, but perhaps not for me anymore. I'm a grown man now. I'm not a kid anymore."

"Have you tried going to couples therapy?"

"No. I don't know if that really helps anyway. Besides, I'm a bit afraid of therapists. So many of them are just plain incompetent and I've heard of abuse at their hands. I don't need that. I've already done so much to heal myself from my childhood, there's no way I want all of this hard work undone."

"Again, I feel you... just know that I won't judge you, alright? It's good that you go against these norms. That doesn't make you a sissy. If anything, we need more dads like you."

HELLO MY BEAUTIFUL FRIEND ASIA 💕💞💓💖💗💝💘 !!! i have a Micky astro update to share!

i've started working on the moon nodes (still have yet to finish studying degree theory), and while i was trying to find sources i found a source that actually explains the nodes in their houses, which is very helpful and also extremely telling from what i've read.

i wanted to share Micky's specifically because i found some things that are very important to the tour right now!

the thing about the moon nodes is that people will start to identify with their North Node in their later half of life, rather than the South Node when growing up. Micky has a Cancer North Node and Capricorn South Node; very much centered around familial and emotional matters.

i screenshot it and highlighted things that jumped out to me that made me think "yep that's him" (all of it is, who am i kidding), and underlined things that he should watch for, especially now:

moreover, we currently have nothing within the astrosphere that's in Capricorn, but we do have a Mars in Cancer transit right now, which is at it's fall; Cancer in Mars does not work well, i mean just look at Davy (natal Mars Cancer), the poor fucking bastard. this Mars transit is currently at 11° Cancer, fitting snuggly between Micky's 4H Saturn and 5H South Node in conjunction.

Mars is going to stay in Cancer for pretty much the entire Headquarters tour, heightening emotions to an almost boiling point, and with it being the 5H of creativity and self-expression we are absolutely seeing this unfold within the audience, and a bit with Micky too! also, with it applying (moving inward to conjunction) right now to his South Node, having him bringing up the past over & over is only going to get more emotionally intense from there, at least until it begins separation (moving onward from conjunction).

here's the thing though, Mars is notoriously headstrong and impulsive, so if emotions heighten and you mix that with the aggressive passion of Mars... yeah, it can get messy if gone unchecked. right now though we're seeing it manifest positively, at least on the outskirts, just as long as caution isn't being tempted to be thrown to the wind.

we're almost done with Aries season -- Mars' domicile sign -- and Taurus season will be moving in on the 21st, so Mars won't have a leg to stand on after that. but while Aries is all about following immediate instinct, Taurus is focused on stability and keeping a practical outlook; Taurus and Cancer naturally sextile, having very similar outlooks and views. if Micky is able to hone that influence in for the latter half of April, keeping a valuable support system and allowing himself to be open and honest with his emotions, then i have faith that it won't get the best of him... for now! it's like i keep saying: he needs to watch his head.

and before i go here's a quote from a source i found when looking up transit Mars conjunct natal South Node that perfectly puts this transit for him in a nutshell:

"Mars only touches the South Node once every two years so this can be an intense or cathartic time of release. An old issue may resurface, not to cause more pain but to allow deeper healing."

I LOVE THIS UPDATE SO, SO, SO MUCH!!!! and honestly this feels so fucking accurate, ESPECIALLY the parts you highlighted! but like you said it all definitely applies to micky! i think what is really interesting to me, just on a bit of a side note, is there is almost a trend of micky becoming more reserved and more concerned with appearances only to circle back into being unbothered (i’m thinking 60’s micky who was still weary but definitely more secure -> 70’s -90’s micky who was VERY self conscious and VERY concerned with trying to come off in a particular way -> mid 2000’s micky who started to revert back to being chill). you can also kind of see a trend with how he becomes more in-tune with his emotions, but also how he becomes more comfortable expressing them as well. but uh yeah all of this tracks heavily, like if i got into all the specific moments i’d be writing a fucking essay, but just KNOW this is 10000000% accurate so fucking stellar job as always kale.

i will say i hope to GOD the man takes a break after this and gives himself a chance to just sit with all the memories and emotions this tour undoubtedly brings up, and i hope he can manage to find peace within the upheaval 💖🙏😔

What stories are you planning for the future?

I've got two Sandman fics that are almost done, both Dream/Hob - a slightly silly, very nerdy, very porny kinkmeme fill and a self-indulgent hurt/comfort thing.

I signed up as a prospective author for a Hannibal 'zine recently, and if accepted, I've got a couple of ideas for that. The one that has the most traction, currently, is about Hannibal trying to exorcise his attachment to Will by more creative means than eating him.  (spoiler: it doesn’t work)

Other than that in Hannibal-land, I've got a post-canon longfic that's been sitting for two years that I direly want to get back to and finish, and if and only if I manage that, I've got a Hannibal-Wayward Children series crossover idea I've been percolating for over a year.

(Honestly... I probably ought to just go ahead and publish the little vignette I wrote as kind of a companion piece to the bigger idea. :P It's short, sweet, finished, and actually good. In case anyone following my tumblr actually knows both canons and cares, it's Hannibal's first therapy session with Jack Wolcott.)

What are your pet peeves in other people’s work?

I have several grammatical error pet peeves (lie/lay errors being the foremost, and unfortunately by-far most common, of those), but those just kind of make me sigh and pinch the bridge of my nose, at most. English isn't everyone's first language, and even if it is, the current state of public education in at least my anglophone country leaves much to be desired. Certainly won't ruin a fic for me.

I think the biggest pet peeve otherwise, aside from various "I vehemently disagree with this characterization" sort of things (which I think we all run into at some point), is when a story goes into a lot of depth... or "depth".... about a subject that the author clearly has no clue about, either from practical experience or research. Fics that go into detail about cooking when it's clear the entirety of the author's knowledge of the subject comes from having watched one or two Gordon Ramsay shows. Fics prominently involving characters being college professors where the author knows absolutely nothing about academia from any perspective other than maybe having been a university student at some point. That kind of thing. I'm never going to tell anyone to only write what they know, but like. Either do the research, or handwave it. Don't go into detail and then get every single detail wrong.

Do you believe in outlines? Show us one! 

I do believe in outlines, for anything more complex than one or two scenes! First relatively concise one I found that isn't for something I haven't finished yet below the cut (because it's still kinda long) -

This is pretty condensed, because I wrote it both for myself and to share with @stylishanachronism because we were doing a collaboration for a Pillars of Eternity minibang event. It's for I Recall (stylishanachronism's art embedded <3).

The nutshell version of what this fic is exploring is: In the present-day, in terms of the game's timeline, the protagonist is face-to-face with the trapped soul of her lover from a previous life thousands of years ago. 99% of the fic is about that past life, and how the protagonist unwittingly betrayed the love of her life.

Events timeline

Iovara leaves the missionaries; Nephele is torn, but declines to go with her

Nephele thinks on Iovara often, sometimes struggles with the desire to leave and join

Thaos sends Nephele off to infiltrate, which she is simultaneously sick and overjoyed over.  General intent to fade into the heretics and go dark with Thaos.

Reunited!  Yay!

...and then Thaos personally tracks Nephele down.  Whoops.

Shit starts hitting the fan, and Nephele ends up suggesting going to Ossionus due to trusting That Asshole way too much

Iovara is captured by the Inquisition and events play out as we see in the game

Actual scene outline

Establish both directly and indirectly an existing relationship between Iovara and Nephele, and a bit about what that relationship is like.  Iovara tells Nephele what she has discovered, and that she intends to leave.  They part with mutual regret.

Flashbacks to earlier time with Iovara

Flashbacks to background with Thaos

Nephele is sent to infiltrate the heretics.  Flashbacks to angst and indecision in the time since Iovara left.  Emphasis on mixed but mostly-optimistic feelings Nephele has about this situation.

Nephele is brought to Iovara and baldly confesses she was sent as a spy/infiltrator.  Iovara is surprisingly (to everyone except Nephele) okay with this.  They get to be happy for a bit.  Nephele’s still not completely sure about this whole atheism thing, but it makes a scary amount of sense and she’s glad to be where she is.

Thaos pops up personally and makes a go at convincing her that the movement is Le Fucked, but he still cares about dear Iovara, and the only way to really salvage things is going to be getting Iovara’s people to go to Ossionus.

The trap is sprung, and they realize it too late.  Nephele starts going into “holy fuck this is my fault” mode; Iovara verbally slaps her out of it and tells her to live, and to remember.

Epilogue: modern-day Acantha in Sun-In-Shadow, face to face with Iovara’s spirit.  “I remember.”
