Keeping up with my little tradition of recreating the first drawing I made of us the day I gave my heart to him. I still love you madly, Mad Mod. I am forever in your world. A month too long since I’ve drawn my love…Just did something on the spot.

His suit is inspired from my favorite musician Neil Tennant. I saw the outfit in a music video and HAD to draw the other Neil (haha…. my Neil) in it! I was going to draw a flamboyant full-body pose as well, on the same day, but I’m too tired to do it now. So I shall tomorrow.

Obligatory mention that the dialogue is a quote he made in the show. It’s what popped in my head while making the pose. Then I drew the facial expression accordingly. Most of my artworks I make up as I go…Rather chaotic really.

Finally an excuse to sperg about this topic.

My teeth are slightly yellow and pretty crooked. Especially the bottom row but no one can see them fully when I smile because of my overbite. I’m weird- I find teeth imperfections to be charming. I don’t have a tooth gap in real life unlike my self insert. I’d like to have one, though. I think they’re cute. It’s actually a beauty trend in Japan for girls to have their straight teeth crooked. I’m not sure if that’s medically safe, but it makes me feel less alone in seeing the appeal for them. Even so, I don’t like giving a wide smile only because my gums show. I’m not sure how honey would feel about that. I never do it in photos. It’s hard to do a bright smile artificially so I probably look more laid back than I actually am.

Anyways. I don’t think Neil has much room to judge… Lol. He sometimes got that Bri-ish teeth 😝 I also think he doesn’t particularly care if they aren’t perfect. I mean this in the nicest way possible. I fucking adore Mod’s smile. When he’s drawn with his teeth extra protruding, crooked, chipped, or yellow. dig it. I have specific fixations on certain features of people. I can talk about beauty shit all day. Or my vision of it. It’s in the eye of the beholder. Fashion too, of course. It’s why I like drawing characters. Thanks for reading my little ramble.

Absolutely sista!! 😊 Neil loves Earl Grey too. It was mentioned briefly in a comic. Our hard working men needs that stress relief & respect. He’s a Brit, so I already know he wants that milk and sugar!

My favorite thing to do for him.

I absolutely love making him tea and tending to his' sore joints with a jar of Tiger Balm(the red kind). Just rubbing him down with that camphor shit and watching the stress of laboratory work melt away while he sips Earl Grey tea, no milk, sugar only.
