Hi lovely, I usually wouldn't write for this subject because I too am going through ED recovery at the moment and wouldn't want to dig anything up for myself. However, this might be cathartic, so please enjoy and I hope you're doing well.<3

Warnings: eating disorder mentioned throughout, low self-esteem. Please don't read if this is triggering for you.

So Loki is the sweetest man you've ever been with. It may be surprising to everyone around you, but he's incredibly gentle and loves you dearly.

So when you approach him to let him know you were undergoing ED treatment he was really confused.

Not just because he wasn't familiar with this type of ailment, but because he somehow hadn't noticed that you were struggling.

He knew that besides just the general issues being a problem, there were deeper issues under the surface

You'd voiced before that you were surprised that you didn't have an issue finding a doctor with you being plus sized

You had to explain to him that some doctors wouldn't believe you because of how you looked

Ofc he was fucking pissed

Now, once you have an established plan he's there for you every step of the way.

He'd accompany you to appointments and wait patiently in the waiting room for you to come out no matter how long it took (he definitely got strange looks at first, but now the nursing staff knows and loves him)

He'd hold your hand throughout the whole treatment process. He'd listen to everything your nutritionist said and make sure to make you foods that would be appetizing, but also keep you healthy

He'd hug you and reassure you on bad days, especially on days when surfing the urge just isn't enough any more

If calorie counting was something you struggled with he'd definitely cut off, rip off, and get rid of all of the little nutritional information on all of the food in the house

Most of he'd just love you endlessly. Shower you in praises -more so than normal -kiss you everywhere he could reach

He'd just want you to know that you're loved, and will forever be loved

This was 2017-2019, not in ancient times. Certainly deserves a lot of attention
