I think Popeyes needs to be held accountable for every other place adding pickles to chicken sandwiches. As a pickle lover and chicken sandwich lover (Wendy's spicy chicken my beloved) that is one place pickles DONT BELONG!

Idek if officially Popeyes is to blame but it wasn't a thing until that sandwich came out and everyone was going nuts over it in like 2020. Then suddenly everywhere was adding pickles.

one thing i sincerely wish for terminally online people on here obsessed with dragging up receipts from years ago: someday you will meet one of the best people in your life, genuinely kind and gives their time and energy to others. and you will learn that they had a bigoted past. they watched fox news, they went to anti-abortion rallies, they were aggressively homophobic, they were racists or just general scumbags making dead baby or nazi jokes. will you stop being friends with them because of the shadow of the person they no longer are? there’s so many reasons for someone to be horrible, but there’s also so many reasons for someone to grow. most of the time I think people on here forget that second part because they want to punish others for their wrongdoing. like lmao what are you, catholic?

Hot Kalim take but, even though Kalim loves children, I do believe he'd at the very least be hesitant to have some of his own. Considering that Kalim got so upset over Jamil getting poisoned and put into a coma from eating a meal meant for him(so much so that it's one of least favorite foods), I can only imagine what his reaction would be toward the idea of his own child/children being at risk, simply because they are his heir. I doubt Kalim wants anyone to go through the exact thing he had to as a child even though he knew what came with the title of being the heir to Asim. But at the same time, Kalim loves kids. And I bet that even though he would probably think that it's selfish of him to want children of his own, even if it means putting his children through the exact trauma he had to go through, he would still want them regardless. It's probably a struggle for him knowing that even with his vast amount of wealth, his connections, his own magic, won't stop others from wanting to hurt him or his family just to gain something from him. And that he can only hope that his children will be as strong as him as they grow up in a loving but hostile environment, where even their own friends and family wants them dead. I just think that it would be in a constant battle with himself over this. Especially since it's expected of Kalim to have children at some point, to continue the family line.

Anyways hot take, I know, but still I'm constantly thinking about how technically fucked up Kalim's childhood was and he's just kinda expected to brush it off, even if it was severally emotionally damaging. And that he still has it in him to keep an optimistic outlook on life and how he's still willing to forgive those who wronged him. But that's a whole post on it's own that I will get to. At some point. Eventually.

That one post that's like "How come when I find a fic author I like, I go to their profile and the rest is JUST hockey rpf?" Because it truly does slap.

And I KNoW how people feel about RPF and usually I agree but Hockey RPF is just so separate from the actual source like it truly doesn't count as regular RPF to me. Like maybe just read this twenty five chapter Soulmate AU fic about Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn and then maybe you'll calm down.
