I’m noticing an increase in new fic writers on AO3 who…uh…mayy not know how to format their fics correctly..so here is a quick and VERY important tip

Using a random fic of mine as example..

The left example: ✅✅✅

The right example: ❌❌❌

Idk how many times I’ve read a good fic summary and been so excited to read before clicking on it and being met with an ugly wall of text. When I see a huge text brick with zero full line breaks my eyes blur and I just siiiigh bc either I click out immediately or I grin and bear it…it’s insufferable!

If a new character speaks, you need a line break. If you notice a paragraph is becoming too large, go ahead and make a line break and/or maybe reconfigure the paragraph to flow better. I’m not a pro writer or even a huge fic writer but…please…ty…

Love how tumblr has its own folk stories. Yeah the God of Arepo we’ve all heard the story and we all still cry about it. Yeah that one about the woman locked up for centuries finally getting free. thinking about that post of people assuming ao3 has an algorithm and also about how bonkers persistent the view is that ao3 is social media lite. like with startling regularity I get comments saying something along the lines of "it's probably weird to comment on a fic this old--" no it isn't!!!! this is an archive I am literally just assuming you searched for a selection of specific tags or sorted by kudos or looked back on my pseud or any other number of completely normal ways to use an archive site ?? kill the tiktok ghost in your brain and comment on old stuff it's NOT weird

I honestly don't understand how Zoro passionately reacts to Sanji. Like that man is chill af, he never let anything get to him. He would scowl and he would be pissed off. But not to the point of reactions that Sanji is able to get out of him. I've never seen him so worked up with someone other than Sanji.

Sanji I get. He's hotheaded and screams just about to anyone except the ladies but goddamn, Zoro, he needs to self-reflect bc it's starting to get pretty obvious and pretty embarrassing how much hold Sanji has on the guy.

And Sanji... He'll deny it but I know he's been fantasizing about being squeezed in Zoro's fan-fucking-tastic tits. Which to his credit is fair
