gojo knows how to peel oranges

a/n: just something simple inspired by the poem oranges by jean little, i cried the first time i read it, hope you guys enjoy <3

there was a lot you did for satoru.

you helped ground him, reminded him to drink water, made him food, taught him how to fold clothes and do laundry, showed him all your favorites- from places to eat and videos to play.

you reminded him what love felt like, your tender touches late at night, gentle thumb pads wiping away hot tears, soft whispers and proclamations of love.

satoru always wondered what he did for you.

he didn’t think much of the quality time he’d spend with you, he thought that was a given. he often brushed past the shower of compliments he gave you daily, figuring that was the standard. the little gestures of holding doors open, buying you flowers, remembering your favorite candle scent and buying your shampoo seemed too natural to him for it to be considered and outward act of love.

“you want some oranges?” you asked, looking at him with a smile from the kitchen.

“i could go for some oranges” he replies, getting up from the couch and joining you in the kitchen, taking an orange in his hand.

his thumbs easily tear into through the peel, gently digging his finger and separating it seamlessly from the sweet fruit, continuing his motion until the peel comes completely off, all in one piece.

you on the other hand, are putting too much force into your thumb, your finger piercing straight into the flesh of the fruit, shrieking when the juice gets on your face a bit.

“how do you always peel it so neatly? i have never once been able to” you huff, setting the now punctured Orange on a towel, washing your hands in the sink before drying them off.

“cmon sweetheart it really isn’t that hard!” satoru grins, taking your orange and easily peeling it apart neatly. “you have to do this, and then… get it there and boom!” his smile widening as he stares at you, a pout on your lips and an annoyed look in your eyes.

“yeah yeah mr. ‘I’m so good at everything’” you tease, tasking the orange from his hand and munching on a piece. “they’re sweet today” you smile, putting both your pieces and satoru’s in a bowl, heading back to the couch the two of you were on.

two weeks later the two of you are cooking dinner, reading off the recipe and realizing the dish called for an orange.

“can you hand me an orange?” you ask, turning around and thanking him as he hands it to you. you were determined to not make a mess this time, it’s just an orange after all.

but as gentle as you were, the peel wouldn’t budge, and the little force you applied proved to be just a little too much as your fingers pierced through the flesh again. you groaned in frustrations satoru already taking it from his hands, a smile on his face as he so easily peeled it.

“coulda just asked” he hums, handing you the orange, you’re glaring at him, giggling when he misses your nose.

“thank you angel boy,” you mumble, chopping the orange and adding it in.

one year later you’re sitting together in a grassy field, the wild blowing past the two of you, your laughter and love filled gazes scattered in the wind.

“i got some oranges from the market today!” you grin, taking them out of the wicker basket and showing them to your snowy haired lover. “you owe me breakfast in bed if i can finally peel this damn citrus fruit” you wager, satoru easily sitting back, a small smirk on his face as he nodded.

“I’ll do so breakfast in bed for a month if you peel it in one piece” your eyes widen at his proposition, nodding before looking at the fruit in your hands.

it’s only ten seconds later that you’re throwing yourself back, saying the fruit was obviously defective because ‘there’s no way the peel was that easy to cut through!’

satoru takes the oranges from you, peeling them perfectly and separating them into neat sections.

“I’m glad i have you to peel my citrus” you smile one night, taking the mandarin slices from his hand and humming in delight as the sweet taste hits your tastebuds.

“I’ll always peel your oranges for you” he replies, voice soft, his blue eyes seem a little lighter and his face a bit more relaxed as he looks at you.

it’s been years since then, and you never learned to peel oranges, the times you’d attempt to, juice would get everywhere and the peel coming off in chunks, the aftermath looked like an orange massacre.

satoru’s heart flutters when he sees the citrus fruit, knowing you’ll hand it to him, for him to peel for you. he knows you’ll always ask him to do this for you.

satoru is grateful everyday that you can’t peel oranges, because with the boundless things you do for him, he knows this is the one thing he’ll always be able to do for you.

Mariejois: Celestial Dragon and when there’s a Reverie there’s gonna be a lot of snobby royals she has to protect. Should I bring the list. And the same goes to God Valley.

Marine Headquarters: Sea Serpent! Reader is almost ALWAAAAYS there because of strict rules, the reason why it’s not the same rank as Mariejois, it’s because of the few good marines there like Coby, Corazon, Fujitora and etc, but she’s always trapped there either at meetings or at her room that the Gorosei made for her. They won’t even let Sea Serpent! Reader have student of her own!

Enies Lobby: It bring bad memories especially the gate of justice, the place just shows how corrupt the world government and how they will do anything to keep anyone shut, the lengths they will go for no secrets to leak out.

Dressrosa: It’s a wonderful country with beautiful culture, dances, food and people but most of the “people” there are toys. Doflamimgo reassures to you that nothing wrong with the country even though you senses tells you otherwise. No matter how gorgeous the country is there’s a gut feeling that something is incredibly wrong

Wano: While at the gorgeous capital of Wano, resides or at Onigashima, everything you want will be at your knees (cuz ur tall teheheh). Everytime you wake up in your futon you’d be gifted with flowers that was hand picked by one of the Tobi Roppo or even King, Queen, Jack themselves. And when you eat glistening meat and tasty juice are prepared at your table with a sober Kaido, it’s a wonderful place he’s but the treatment of the people makes you feel guilty whenever you eat even one piece of meat. The pirate world is extremely harsh.

Egghead: You may be a history geek but you’re not one to deny anything that strives to be futuristic, the human mind or the mind of others is extraordinary. It’s a wonderful place that you must be extremely lucky to even step foot in it. Even though it’s a government land, Egghead gives Sea Serpent! Reader a lot of freedom. But the dark stories that King told about made Sea Serpent! Reader back off to Egghead island especially when Vegapunk was the one deducing the experiment and the pacifistas were the ones to fully show how bad it is to Sea Serpent! Reader’s eyes.

Totto Land: Land of a Yonko and the commanders or higher ups of the Big Mom are enchanted by you. People there are incredibly nice to you, at the castle of Big Mom, her younger children would always bother you always asking when are you gonna be called [Name] Charlotte, if you look around you can see the 3 sweet commanders having a big blush on their face, Katakuri raising his scarf while daydreaming the day of your wedding and when he as to put a ring on your finger and after that you bend over to kiss him on his lips, Smoothie turning her head around so her hair could block the blush adorning on her face, Cracker using the palm of his hands and secretly biting on it, trying his best not to scream that he’s still not married yet, all 3 are just imagining how your future kids will look like <3

Amazon Lily: Not only is this place made surrounded with your Sea King friends but it’s an island full of women! You never felt so comfortable whenever you’re there! Boa would daze at you as you munch at the feast she prepared but unlike Wano, the residents there aren’t being mistreated too much unlike Kaido.

Sabaody Island: Your good pal Raleighy and his wife- Shakky now resides there as commoners, late night talk with them with alcohol in your, Rayleigh and Shakky’s systems, such conversations are accompanied with laughs underneath the orange light, with Rayleigh’s voice slowly becomes much more deeper as he leans closer to you, Shakky’s hands slithering on your legs like the former Kuja princess she is, Shakky may or may not have put your glass with a much more stronger alcohol. Wait I’m getting carried away.

Baratie: The food are absolutely amazing there! The conversation with Zeff and the oceans are amazing too!

Skypiea: The Sky brings the ocean its natural blue hues and to touch the fluffy clouds were one of the many dreams little snake [Name] wanted to walk and when [Name] found out that there was indeed a sky island, she immediately went to work to how she can reach that island, and oh boy why she not disappointed. So if the sky is not the limit for adventures what is? Such question made Sea Serpent! Reader yearn for more adventures with Joyboy.

Zou and Fishmen Island: Both are close to her heart, Fishmen Island was made from her hands of course she has a deep relationship with the island, like a mother to her kid, the same thing goes to Zunesha that’s carrying Zou, [Name] likes to visit the minks from time to time, they even make a whole town feat whenever she comes to visit they know how valuable you are, the little minks are always on your side asking about your adventures which you joyfully tell. At the end of the day when every mink is asleep you would softly talk to Zunesha, both your conversation would be complied with the water splashing of each step Zunesha takes.

Logue Town: "The town of the beginning and the end" When Sea Serpent! Reader woke up there was this instinct to go to the place, and that’s when she met the future Pirate King - Gol D Roger.

He smacked his teeth and said, “ Girl bye I live with a Puerto rican mom in case you forgot.” He said while rolling his eyes playfully. “ No baby I don't think you understand the music is different and I'm just trying to give you a heads up.” You said while raising your hands up in defeat. “ I'm sure I'll be fine, it's just dancing Y/N.” He said while poking at your hips to annoy you. “ Aight but imma just tell you right now if i hear my song im dancing with or without you.” You said trying to walk out the room, but he caught you by your waist, and spun you around to kiss you. “ Miles.. As you went out, you were completely bombarded by your mom and aunts telling you and miles to come and dance. You glanced over at him and said, “See?” And he chuckled as he followed you over to where everyone was dancing. You then heard the song Fever by Wizkid, and you and your cousins started cheering. Your mom walked past you and Miles and whispered to miles, “ Be careful, Y/n can dance really well, and she can dance for hours.” Miles chuckled as he saw you dancing with your cousins and whining your hips to the beat. You then saw him kinda in the corner and took his hands for him to dance with you and your cousins. “ You know when you dance they spray you with money right?” “ Wait, are you forreal?” he said, completely shocked that you can get money from that. Just then, you heard the song Soundgasm by Rema start to play and you turned around and put your back to him and started grinding. He was just in awe because he's never seen you dance like that before. He then started to feel the song and how attractive it was and how you looked while dancing and put his hands on your hips and started whining with you. You looked back at him still whining and gave him a smile. Your mom and the other aunts started to come and hype Miles up. And started spraying him with money. And he started going crazy and showed all the aunts that he didn't come to play. Everyone was so shocked as were you that he warmed up so fast.

When the party ended, and you were walking him home, you held his hand tight and said, “ You know my family absolutely adored you right?” “ Shi.. I mean how could they not?” he said playfully. “ Ok not too much now. You're just lucky my dad was on a business trip.” You said giving him the hand. “ Girl that wont be a problem.” “ Wait because I'm actually still in shock that you were able to dance like that.” You said while holding your stomach from how hard you were laughing. “ Well I had to learn one way or another.” “What do you mean?” “ How else will I dance at our wedding?” He said while smirking at you and the fact that you got so flustered easily.

When you got home you helped your mom clean up all the mess from the party when she suddenly called you. “ Y/n, see eh, you betta just be preparing to marry that boy. He’s a very fine one and I need grandbabies. You chuckled and said, “ That's the plan.”

I loved ur orange side theory post. However, My orange side trait theory is that he actually represents thomas' hatred 4 carrots. In WTIT we all think that thomas is upset nico 4 not responding but in actuality, he was just remembering those boiled carrots from FWSA & when he met nico the first time. He calmed down when nico called bcuz nico actually has this sort of nice, calm magic that he puts on thomas. (Nicos also a witch btw)

Also when Logan throws the paper ball at Roman in LNTAO and there's orange light coming downt hebstairs, that also has nothing to do with like how Logan's being treated. Its because, once again, thomas hates carrots. Now i know this one might sound a bit tricky but its very easy to see once i explain. You see, in LNTAO, something the viewers dont see is that earlier in the day he was forced to eat carrots and he didn't really like that. He talks about how being asked "but what do you really do" by a person after telling him he does youtube is what upset him, but REALLY its because they made Thomas eat a carrot & now he resents them. Same thing w/ the wedding, they had carrots there. He did NOT like them.

Its a really subtle thing in sanders sides & im not surprised no one catches it

as we also know carrots are also green which coincides with my theory of remus and orange being opposites in a way which implies remus actually loves carrots and is trying to combat orange to get thomas to eat every carrot he needs

In mythology there are huge festivals and holidays to celebrate each of the gods. what are the main festivals for each of the crew?

Luffy: Sun festival!!! Lasts at least 3 days, a week on a good year. Kind of like saturnalia, lots of food, drink and debauchery, but also lots of dancing and music with strong drums. He appears at the islands as long as there's food offerings for him before moving to the next one, and it's bad luck to fast for more than 4 hours during the time, because Luffy notices and goes to see what tf's going on. (lots of slave liberation because of this, celestial dragons hate the sun festival because they need to feed their slaves better for a week or Luffy will find them)

Zoro: battle festival!! Drink and tournament!!!! Everyone with a desire to participate Must, no matter of gender, race or skill. Zoro protects the weaker ones with his blessing. Not from getting their ass beat, but from serious injury. Top 5 winners of the tournament fight Zoro. Only once has Zoro been beaten and that was by Mihawk, who let the other 4 he was lumped with get beaten before he drew his sword like the cocky goth he is.

Nami: Rain festival! She wants Cash Offerings from rich people or she Will throw tornados at them. Kind of like a night market, with tangerine treats and windchimes and pinwheels everywhere. Drinks made with rainwater are considered good luck, and any farmer's child that does a rain dance will get a good harvest on their farm. Lots of blue and orange themes, and the music is mostly just chimes to play along with the windchimes.

Usopp: Masquerade festivals. All the masks need to be made of wood, and it's considered good luck if a leaf or two sprout from your mask. Lots of children's games, and buying and selling plants. Few know this, but if you can steal a plant without getting caught, it will grow remarkably fast because Usopp thought that shit was funny. Lots of theatre performance too, person with the best story gets all their crops to grow twice as big as they should in half the time.

Sanji: Harvest Festival!! Basically a mixture of valentines day and thanksgiving, a banquet blessed by Sanji, the less waste, the better the fortune by the blessing. Smaller towns will just all eat at the same giant table. If you get engaged during the harvest festival, Sanji Will appear at the wedding and u Will live a happy life with ur partner. It got super saturated with romance and now it's tradition for couples to make the harvest festival meals together.

Chopper: Animal Festival!! Basically don't kill or eat an animal today, it's bad luck. In small towns its basically 'everyone bring ur pets to the park' day but larger cities have petting zoos. Just interact with animals, simple. Recorder music, cotton candy and petting zoos. Chopper can't give a lot of fortune but he can help a crappy farmer's cattle revolt so you'd better pet an animal today.

Robin: Robin likes to keep quiet and subtle, she only had a holiday on O'Hara and now that it's gone she just visits each of the survivors individually on that day to learn about their lives and tell them about their old friends and family on other sides of the world.

Franky: Maker's festival!!!!!! Funnest shit ever, artists, inventors, creators, everyone comes to show off their creations and see all the other creativity. This festival is spent with families mostly, but Robin always joins Franky in admiring each individual idea the humans made with the gift he gave them. It usually lasts several days because Franky wants to see all of it, and hes got a lot of people using these festivals to show off their art and their ideas.

Brook: Music festival!!!!!! Happens mostly at night, song and dance everywhere and lots of people waiting at docks looking for Brook, jamming and surfing his giant whale around the whole world. People tend to fast this day because they think since the moon is the 'opposite' of the sun that the sun feast should mean a moon fast. Not required, though. As long as you sing and dance and are never alone this night, Brook's happy. You can usually find Luffy dancing at one of the moon festivals because he is the stars and the sun, and he loves Brook's festival because it's almost as mindless as his

Jimbe: Jimbe doesn't like the idea of celebrating himself, so he spends his holiday, for one single day, using as much power as he can to bring every drop of water to life. Any hint of moisture can rust away shackles, any drop of water can quench the thirsty, any splash can be a fatal blow, all to free as many slaves as he possibly can, before he has to rest for an entire month to regain the power to stand. This means once he gets those people out, they have to fight for their own freedom from there.
