My Little Angel from Heaven Above by Bittersweet_in_Boston (AU, Vampire Bucky, No-serum Steve | 3K | Mature): He’s even cuter up close, Bucky thinks, staring avidly at those huge blue eyes with ridiculously long eyelashes, the high cheekbones dusted with glittery highlighter, the full lips accentuated even further with pearly pink lipstick. Even the slight crook in his nose adds to the allure. “I had that all taken care of,” the angel says ungratefully, crossing his thin arms over his chest. “I’m sure you did,” replies Bucky, his voice smooth. He leans in a little and tilts his mouth up a little more. “I’m James, but you can call me Bucky. And you are…?” he lets the sentence hang in the air. Angel looks over him for a moment and must at least not hate what he sees, because while his grumpy expression never wavers, his eyes light up. “Steve. I’m Steve,” he says shortly. Bucky might be a little in love already.

💙 FUBAR by Ginny_Potter/ @hipsterdiva (Post-Endgame Fix-It | 64K | Explicit): Steve jumps in the past to return the Infinity Stones and doesn’t come back. When Bucky travels to 2012 to look for him, the Ancient One tells him just one thing: “Captain Rogers decided to move on”. Back in the present, Sam Wilson is more driven than ever to find his friend, believing him to be lost in the Quantum Realm but Bucky knows, just knows, that Steve made a choice and the choice was to stay in the past. Struggling to cope with a world he doesn’t recognise, Bucky falls in an addictive spiral of jumping up and down the timeline under the vigilant eye of the Ancient One, just to see Steve one more time, just to get his next fix. And in doing so, without even realising it, he heals and in the end finds out if he was right. "Your…cat thinks there’s a snake or a rat or a raccoon in the attic." He leaned out of his door, peering over Bucky’s shoulder. "Are you alone? Do you need someone to help you?" "No, I’m your neighbour." "I know," he replied, not sounding even slightly reassured by that fact.

💙 The Pull of You by musette22/ @musette22 (Evanstan RPF, PWP | 2K | Explicit): Of course Chris can be gentle – sweet and patient and careful – he often is. Right now, though, he just needs, and wants, so he takes. He sinks the hand that isn’t pressing Sebastian down into his long, chestnut hair, getting a good handful and then pulling, forcing Sebastian’s smooth back to arch in a gorgeous, lazy U-shape. Sebastian yells.

Dream Come True by grandmacore (Evanstan RPF | < 1K | Teen): Chris loves Sebastian every day of the year and sharing every waking moment with him does sound like a dream come true.

And Steve needed information. Lots and lots of it. aka Librarian Bucky helps freshly desfrosted Steve learn how to use computers and catch up on everything he missed whilst he was in the ice.

The west had ripped Bucky down to his foundations, and built him back up, many times before. And it will continue to do so again, and again, and again. He was strong, he was a fighter. But what happens to a man when he’s given something to protect and fight for other than himself?

What happens is what Steve would call; a goddamn miracle.

The retelling of James Buchanan Barnes as an outlaw in the wild plains of late 19th century America, and how an outlaw's heart thawed like the harshest winter into a bountiful spring.

A/N; Hello there! This is my first ever writing project, this idea has been swimming around my head for a few months, and I finally had the courage to begin my journey. This story is mainly Bucky-centric, with a majority of the chapters being purely from his POV. In creating my OC, she is left blank except her name so you are free to imagine her as you see fit!
