Pairing: La Squadra x GN! Reader

Risotto Nero

Risotto, as a leader of the hitman squad, immediately notices the change of atmosphere among La Squadra once Y/n appears. Albino, to his huge dismay, understands that he’s not the only one who’s developed feelings for Y/n. Albino knows every member’s habits and usual behavior, capo is the first one of all hitmen who figures out that everyone is his rival now (but only when it comes to Y/n, he’s still their leader and he respects every member equally)

Risotto is more of a father figure to Y/n. He warms up to you shortly, pampering you with his attention and genuine care, always being there for you. You’re hungry? The two of you are going to the nearest cafe for you to have a proper meal and Capo won’t take “no” as an answer. You’re stressed and something messes with your pretty head? What a poor thing, come here, Risotto is always ready to listen. Others immediately catch on the change of Capo’s treatment, every day it becomes even more obvious that he has a huge soft spot for Y/n

Least favorite rival: Melone. Risotto hates how smooth purple-haired is around you, how he is open with his flirting, how sincere all of his words sound. Nero wishes he had at least half of sans gêne Melone has. He’s a Capo and he has a reputation to uphold, but behind closed doors Risotto has tried flirting with Y/n and it was so so clumsy and awkward, it’s just… not his style

Prosciutto

The second father figure for Y/n, but if Risotto is more of a sugar daddy, indulging you with expensive gifts and foods, Prosciutto mostly acts like a real father would, scolding you for going outside at winter without your hat on (tho he never wears a hat himself) or for petting stray animals on the streets

Even despite all of his parental sternness, Prosciutto is really caring and attentive towards Y/n, even more that Risotto is. You got scratched accidentally because of your clumsiness? We gotta clean the wound up and patch it, don’t even try to protest; it may be a simple graze but what if some dirt got in it? Your shoulders ache after a long tiring day? Come hither, your dear Prosci will rub all the pain away

Least favorite rival: Risotto. Prosciutto doesn’t hate or despise albino, no. Risotto is a capo, and he got this status for several reasons, so blonde man still respects his boss, but both man have pretty familiar tactics of charming Y/n, and that definitely annoys Prosciutto

Formaggio

Formaggio is one of the most oblivious of all La Squadra men, he doesn’t realize that he’s not the only one having interest in Y/n and even when other guys flirt openly with Y/n in front of him red-haired just thinks that his teammates just try to be friendly towards a newcomer

He’s definitely that type of macho from all the cheesy movies - attractive, excellent smooth talker with constant flirtings. Formaggio is not opposed of using all possible cringy lines what annoy everyone in La Squadra, even Risotto has hard times restraining the urge to roll his eyes at all those shitty teasings. But Maggi is an easygoing guy, it’s so easy being around him and even all his pick up lines don’t repel you from him

Least favorite rival: doesn’t have one. As I said, this man doesn’t notice that other guys try to get Y/n to themselves, the thought of having possible rivals doesn’t even cross his mind

Illuso

It’s not a secret to anyone that Illuso is a little nasty bitch with a huge god complex and all his wooing is no better. “You wanna spend time with me? Shit, you’re such a pain in my ass! Okay, I guess I will indulge you this time, but that’s only because of your cute face” - doesn’t sound so appealing, does it? And that’s exactly the way brunette flirts with Y/n (well, at least he tries to)

Illuso wants to make you crawl to him, to make you crave for his presence and his touch, you make you fall in love hard. Brunette wears his best outfits, uses the best of his perfumes make up stuff just to show you that he’s better than all of his teammates. Surprisingly, even his behavior changes slightly when Y/n is around - he’s not that unbearably churlish towards you, on the good days he may even compliment you - “Your hair… looks good today, I like it”

Least favorite rival: he hates all of La Squadra equally. Illuso is certain that he’s the only one who truly deserves Y/n’s attention, he’s the best partner for you and only he can treat you properly. Doesn’t even try to hide his hostility towards teammates - why would you want spending time with such a trash?

Ghiaccio

Ghiaccio is a tsundere, do I even need to explain why? Is obvious to everyone in La Squadra that he’s head over heels for Y/n, but he still aggressively denies everything if someone points that out. He’s also very protective of you, if Formaggio or Melone or Sorbet try to flirt with you in front of Ghiaccio - they’ll get their nose bleeding soon (blue-haired gets scolded for that by Risotto often)

Blue-haired tries his best to hold all his outbursts in front of you. Even when you ask the stupidest questions, Ghiaccio would clench his fists til his knuckles turn white, grit his teeth, try doing breathing exercises - everything just to remain calm and not to get tantrum in front of you. And you guess that means really a lot

Least favorite rival: Sorbet and Gelato. Those guys (gays, lmao im sorry) don’t even try to hide their interest in Y/n, pinning for you, prying your attention only to themselves. They flirt so openly with you, some of their lines and allusions make even Melone feel slightly uncomfortable, so Ghiaccio sees those almost as if two husbands were shamelessly molesting Y/n

Melone

Melone knows that at times he may be a little bit… too much, so he turns it down for as much as he can so his “strange” tendencies won’t scare Y/n off. For the first few months purple-haired is nothing but sweet and caring, looking pretty normal, just like an average man that doesn’t think of breeding and all possible kinks every two minutes of his time

Even though, he acts like a gentleman with Y/n. Carrying heavy bags for you, giving you a hand when you get up, and if you’re studying medicine he’s up to help you if you have problems with understanding something. Melone had been studying for almost four years at medical uni but got kicked out for having sex with his cogrouper right in the uni. So he may be pretty helpful if you don’t get something or if you’re just interested in medicine

Least favorite rival: I can’t say that he cares much about other guys from La Squadra, but if he had to pick out one it’d be Illuso. It’s not about the way brunette tries to charm Y/n, purple-haired from every beginning didn’t like this guy. All of his conceit and arrogant behavior - it all just pisses Melone off

Pesci

Pesci is so so timid with Y/n, every time you walk by him, saying hi or just smiling at him, poor boy’s heart twists into tight knots. How are you so sweet? How are you so perfect?

Despite all your friendliness green-haired is still incredibly bashful, he is simply afraid of approaching Y/n. It doesn’t matter how much he likes you, Pesci just can’t force himself to try and initiate a chat. Sometimes Prosciutto helps him out with that a little (even though he doesn’t realize that he helps), but blonde is still careful with his actions, not letting even his precious Pesci get too close to Y/n

Least favorite rival: Formaggio. This guy is so noisy and vigorous, every time Pesci finally pulls himself together and finds the courage to approach Y/n this guy seems to appear from fucking nowhere, hogging your attention all to himself and leaving green-haired an angry blushing mess

Sorbet and Gelato

At the very beginning it feels more like you are Sorbet’s and Gelato’s child and they’re your parents fretting over you. They often take you with them on some trips, Gelato helps you with your school (if it’s something he knows about), Sorbet picks you up from work/school and drives you home etc

Sorbet is more of a tease, playing around with you, shamelessly flirting with Y/n, littering with not so pure compliments and comments. His touches are a little bit too long, his gazes are slightly too intense, even stupidest one would notice brunette’s longing for Y/n. Gelato is way less intense than his husband, blonde is way easier with his words, charming you with his sweet talking and constant doting. He’s more of a pillow that eases the expression Sorbet gives you

Sorbet’s least favorite rival: Risotto. Brunette hates how calm and well-composed Capo is, what if Y/n thinks that albino is cooler than he is? But Sorbet immediately makes a new plan in his head: if Risotto is more of a dad to Y/n, always doting on you and being so kind, Sorbet’s going to become your daddy, making you fall for him and Gelato, make you hungry for their attention

Gelato’s least favorite rival: blonde is pretty acknowledged that everyone in La Squadra tryies to get Y/n to themselves, he sees everyone (except Sorbet ofc) as his rival. Man dislikes everyone, seeing them as his opponents, but he doesn’t have a least favorite one. Yes, other members are hella pain in the ass, but blonde is pretty sure that Y/n will end up in his and Gelato’s arms anyways, so there’s no need to jangle his nerves

Quick first thoughts on the first ep of the Hypmic Anime. Spoilers beware (and im writing this as I watch so :p)

Otome’s speech is.... questionable from a persuasive point of view. Manga did a great job of introducing her (which you can read here) but they really cut out the more terrifying parts of her speech and how she uses force to show people that she's not to be messed with

Its cool seeing everyone in their respective environments though. thats cool. Though they could have added Sasara and Kuuko (shhh i know why they didn’t let me dream)

I love how poppy the typography is. Its amazing how the visuals just leap out at you. The OP does a great job of this. The first few seconds before the title really gives me Persona 4 OG OP vibes with the influx of information given. The rest is a clear concise and streamlined way that still gives character. Animation is sparse but still carries across a general idea of each character and shows off each character object. Rendering is really nice and pays a bit of homage to the posing artwork thats done for the MVs. They also do their division hand signals and thats cute

Love how the OP has blatant HifuDoppo and DRB matchup foreshadowing

so far I really like what theyre going for. BB is about brotherly familial bonds and they show the goods and the bads. Jiro and Saburo bickering right out the gate really cements the fact that they get along like cats and dogs but you can still see that they love each other, working together when the situation calls for it

Now the 3d models. Theyre... not great but usable if you don’t look too hard. They serve their purpose and don’t actively detract from the viewing experience.

Visual typography in the rap itself are fun and poppy but they dont.... speak to me? like theyre there yes and I appreciate them but the only ones that got me excited were from Ichiro’s rap

I love how they interpret the Hypnosis Speakers though. Esp. Saburo’s organs. That was super creative and I love it! If there was one thing that I felt was missing from the franchise was a deeper exploration of the speakers but the anime puts a new and fresh spin on it! Love it, especially with their attack patterns!

If the production team ever feels inclined to, Id love to see those info sheets on Otome’s desk released. There seems to be very interesting info and stats written out about each member (like capabilities, personal status etc.) They all seem unique too so I really really really hope they release images of those sheets

OOOOOOOOKAY MTC. I have such a big biased for them so Im very torn to see what unfolds

Rio striking out on his own is interesting. Out of everyone in MTC hes the biggest team player yet here he trusts his teammates to go ahead. This either displays Rio’s willingness to trust his teammates or it becomes very OOC if the anime wants to set him up as a lone wolf like character

I love how they specify its a drug deal. It means that Jyuto surely will show up and it also shows that Samatoki knows Jyuto’s motives and willingly gives black market info that he knows aligns with Jyuto’s goal. Thats A+ detail writing there and a great establishing characteristic for both of them

OOohhhhhhhhhhhhh man Asunama-san’s voice acting is god tier his work as Samatoki is phenomenal. He pulls of Samatoki’s threatening voice so well with those almost calm words before his voice becomes loud and confrontational. Those rolling syllables in contrast to Komada-san’s almost lyrical and airy speech and Kamio-san’s strict and enunciated words is such a delight to hear. It just speaks to how amazing and great these Seiyuu’s are in order to pull of such amazing work

Im so biased but MTC has such a better rap than BB im so sorry. Just by watching Samatoki’s part, the imagery is amazing. Even the arrival of his Hypnosis Speaker was awesome and sent a shiver down my spine. using the lyrics to form blades and blood was such a great thing to do. Theres so much more variety that just him standing there and shots of his hypnosis speaker. The old fashioned vignette shots, the four panel spread, the nods to old Kurosawa era films are great and I love these small details. Even the typography looks better.

Again, the interpretations with the speakers is fresh and new. Its great and I love the different imagery and attack patterns. Each one is so unique but carries across each different style of rap.

The 3d modles aren’t any better tho lol

(Hi this is Astro who is reading over their assessment again and making a note. Yeah I’m a bit harsh on BB’s rap. I’m not going to change it since I still stand by it and this post is supposed to be a documentation of my first impressions. I think one of the reasons why I’m so harsh on BB is because of their dynamic as a trio of brothers. They Have to have a more uniform approach than the other divisions. Which in of itself isn’t a terrible thing, it just doesn’t catch my eye as much as MTC did. Thats all! I definitely don’t hate BB, they’re maybe my 3rd favorite division out of the current lineup [not including TDD era teams like Kujaku Posse, MCD, and Naughty Busters] its just that their rap was pretty meh)

Samatoki crouching like a real gangstar and the cigarette kiss killed me

sadjkhfjkasdghsadjkcsdjhsdfsjhf im dying i love these trio of dumbasses so uch oh y fod someone save me aaaaaaaa (Astro note here! yeah i died when the jyuto and samatoki’s stomach growled im weak please. Samatoki’s face is just so precious and funny I might set it as a profile pic somewhere)

But also my initial assessment of Rio possibly being characterized as a lone wolf is very much jossed and im very thankful for that. It seems that Rio was simply trusting his teammates to carry out their part of the plan while he carried out his own. I like that, it really shows how much of a team these three are and that they genuinely trust each other. He’s also comfortable enough around them to invite them to dinners after work casually and not just for special occasions.

I really love MTC guys

Oooh! we get Ramuda on his design process which is really cute. the inside of his studio is super cute and retro and i love it. the poppy old music you would hear in a cafe or 90′s resturaunt is also really cute (astro note: yeah i know that in ARB you see the interior of Ramuda’s office but its kinda different seeing it animated)

the translation i have has gentaro speaking in early modern english (Shakespearian english for those who aren’t english nerds like me) but from what I can hear, he doesn’t speak in a particularly old fashioned way? Its more formal than old? and hes speaking without any of his character persona lying thing that he likes to do (as he refers to himself as “Shousei” throughout the segment where hes in Ramuda’s office which is kind of his default pronoun of choice). so its kinda odd for the translation to go in that direction but im not complaining

Gendice banter is gold but it feels... flat? a little? it doesn’t have the same impact as in the drama cds or in the manga? i feel? Also Ramuda using gratuitous english is??? idk how to feel about that

kjshf thats against the rules Ramuda omgggg,,,,,,,, (astro note again: while watching i was under the assumption that using your hypmic for monetary gain such a as buskering [which is what FP is doing] is against the rules. May not be the case but whatever)

FP’s rap might be my favorite in terms of tune and lyrics though. It’s a nice laid back bop and really gives of chill vibes. the integration of 3d and 2d is really nice and i love how they play off each other in the rap. The wordplay is so fun with little nods here and there and the beat is poppy too so it really energizes me.

Ramuda’s rap concerns me slightly since he makes very subtle and small nods towards his past (being created in a laboratory, warfare, and his overall very unpleasant life experiences) but spins it into something cutesy. It could be a coping mechanism, it could be me overthinking it. But it does make me worry a bit. Gentaro and Dice’s rap really play off each other with Gentaro sticking to stories and Dice taking up the baton by carrying on that same imagery but putting his own spin on it.

the self awareness of how scattered they are as a team is interesting though. It doesn’t seem like something you’d speak about in a rap? but i guess since its not really a do or die situation they can afford to be looser on things like this.

Right off the bat, i don’t like how they handled Hifumi and Doppo in relation to Hifumi’s fear of women. Slug made a post once talking about this and I echo many of his sentiments. Hypmic has never been very tactful about tackling this particular issue and while I didn’t have high hopes that the anime would be any better it hurts to see Doppo take away the one thing that allows Hifumi to function within society.

Doppo’s breakdown mirrors a lot of my own mental state when I spiral though its shown a lot quicker than what happens to me oof. that hits close to home. though Jakurai’s advice is. Questionable. Its not the best advice to give to someone but we have no idea what kind of doctor Jakurai is so ill let it slide

Jakurai’s pose looks like hes going to do a mahou shoujou transformation lmao

I don’t have many thoughts about the rap though again. How they visualize the rap is interesting. the different imagery is quite interesting for each of them and the typography is nice a distinct but im still on the fence about the visuals here

The sound is in the same boat. The sound effects either drown out the rap or are too quet but some parts are nice at least. When they talk about Tokyo’s beating heart, the heartbeat sound is a but distracting especially since its only played once. But the imagery is at least nice

I wonder if for the eds they’re going to take a similar approach to what Enstars did and have a four different endings, one for each division. I love the blend of styles here and it really accentuates that although they’re different they mesh well together.

Ramuda’s silhouette though is hilarious. Love it.

:p and thats it. Uh not bad for a first episode. Established all 12 characters really nicely and their dynamics. I had some problems with it but then again nothing is perfect. I look forward to what they show us next week

so after working so hard and long on her secret santa fic for the bnha event, my amazing friend @just-some-friendlydrabs @mtladys-wife didn’t get her fic in return, so i had to do something about it. pls normie-army attack her with love!

im so sorry these are bad, i’ve never written for these characters before and i’m an anime watcher so i only have the wiki to rely on T_T

Ice skating (head canons) - Yu Takeyama, Inasa Yoarashi, Camie Utsushimi x (g/n)Reader

Yu Takeyama (Mt. Lady)

While this girl is generally lazy, there’s no exception when it comes to the ice. The first step she takes she almost takes your pants off on the way down, landing on her ass and whining. You are expected to be a good pole for her when she ice-skates

She’s clinging onto you most of the time, but it’s not like you could complain with her tits pressed against your arm, except for when she makes you fall, which is the only reason why you fall

You’re also going to have to give your jacket to her cause she wore something thin, underestimating how cold the ice would feel against her ass

She manages to get a staff member on the ice to help her out with skating, even if they are not supposed to be helping her, holding their hands as they guide her along the ice. Soon enough she tries her best to impress you by performing a small twirl on the spot but ends up falling on her face

After that little stunt, you were both off the ice, drinking soup as Yu’s red nose wouldn’t go away. It was prominent enough to default her as Rudolph the red nose rein deer. Except her cuddling into you for the rest of the day, a small pout and blush on her face from the embarrassment, and it was worse because people recognized her in the rink.

“Why did we even go there, y/n…?” she mumbled softly as you both walked towards the subway, “You suggested it, Yu”, “I don’t trust myself anymore”

Inasa Yoarashi

This boy is decent on the ice. Before stepping on it, he tries to hype you both up, chanting your name as you both enter the rink. He picks up the momentum of ice skating fast, and with his quirk, he can go fast. Of course that doesn’t excuse him from slamming in the edge of the rink. But he casually gets up, apologizes to the staff before skating off total crackhead

Constantly shouting motivation for you and actually helps you enough to not hold the edge of the rink. He surprises you and uses his quirk to push you forward, which while it sounds fun, it was a living hell for you, you felt like you would lose your balance any second

But don’t worry, Inasa’s got you, being your pole as you both skate around the rink, being the only couple on the rink that doesn’t fall at least 50 times in half an hour. You have to try not to fall because each time you do, Inasa’s booming out encouragement, and while you love him, it’s slightly embarrassing as others stare at you

Once you both get off, Inasa’s in his happy mood (when is he not) and gladly carries you in his arms or on his back because your ankles got sore from the cheap ice skating shoes that you had to wear

Inasa quite enjoyed ice-skating, more than he expected to and he definitely forces you both to skate more, and the season doesn’t matter. I can see Inasa as someone who watches ice-skating videos in his free-time and after he gets over his quarrels with Shoto, he makes him make a rink for you both

Camie Utsushimi

She’s surprising really good at ice-skating?? Like despite her laid-back attitude, she’s like so good at ice-skating?? It surprises you but also annoys you cause she constantly teases you for not being able to even glide on the ice, just walk like a penguin

She’s like zipping past you, doing cross-overs backwards and even small spins in the air, leaving you all alone to struggle on the edge of the rink. But don’t worry, she nudges you on with her own form of encouragement; teasing you and messing with you

She makes you fall down in fright a few times, skating backwards towards you, pretending to not know that she was about to crash into you before braking with the edge of her blade, successfully coating you in ice shavings as you lay on the ice on your ass

After you both get off, Camie is giddy from the adrenaline rush that she got from skating and keeps talking about how she did certain tricks, which is cute to you, because she gets all bubbly and excited about it, jumping up and down and waving her arms around. Its different to how she normally is, but it’s a nice different and you wouldn’t mind skating with her again, even if it’s at the expense of your dignity

Of course, you both go and grab a small hot chocolate in a nearby cafe, sitting down on a table to make plans for your next skating date

TL;DR: All Might, Japan's number 1 villain has a successor. The problem? His successor is a hero hopeful. All Might will stop at nothing to make sure his kid gets to live his dream.

au where all might is a villain raising izuku to be a hero!

quirkless izuku, his backstory is mostly the same

all might decided that hero work had too much red tape. if he was going to take down afo, he needed the freedom to do whatever he had to and he wasnt getting that working within the law

so hes a,,, viilllaaaiinnn?? like. stain. but less murdery, would also save civilians if they were in danger

he has 0 qualms about crippling fake heroes but hes not a fan of murder

nighteye is still his sidekick, he doesnt use his quirk on allmight bc all might h a t e s it

hes kinda on board with "the future is only set in stone because you've seen it now" so he wants the freedom to break fate. but its very useful to get info, so nighteye just uses it on other people

hero to the people villain to literally everyone else

allmights villain costume is reallll similar to his hero costume. just less eye bleeding

he has longer grey hair too.

all mights bronze age costume is basically his villain costume thanks for listening

david shield is still in this story

david agrees w all might and like,,, sneaks him stuff on the downlow

all might told him ab. his quirk because who on earth is gonna believe that one america man about japans worst supervillain?

also melissa is a Soft Young Woman and she is all mights favourite person on this fucking planet until he meets izuku

all might went to ua, only defected after completing his hero training because he wanted to be trained by the people he was going to screw over

izuku has always kinda been a big fan of all might. not openly because hes legally a villain and very much paints himself as one, but his quirk is one of the most amazing things izuku has ever seen

when he looks closer, all might has never let a civilian get hurt once hes been on scene. hes taken hits to protect housing, hes pulled heroes from the line of fire

izuku watches his sports festivals and wonders why? why did all might, the man who happily told the world he'd stop at nothing to keep them safe, suddenly flip sides like that for no reason?

izuku doesnt buy it

izuku's big yellow backpack is a big red one in this universe, hes had it so long its gone pink but he still loves it

the sludge villain

all might saves him and izuku is crying. allmight thinks its because hes scared but izuku just turns to him with this big weepy eye smile and gives him the most genuine thanks he thinks hes ever been given

(its honestly the shock of that that makes him deflate into small might, which has izuku scrambling to find tissues and called an ambulance before he thinks better of calling emergency services for All Might)

izuku is like "Im SO SORRY SIR ARE YOU oK"

and all might is like ",,, b oy"

izuku softly asking

"can,, can i still be someone with out a quirk? can i still make a difference?"

all might doesnt get the chance to anser because there is a massive explosion in the distance

its bakugo!! hes dying

the sludge villain got away bc izuku and all might were chatting a little

izuku hears it and he feels this terrible realization, because its probably not bakugo? but its definitely bakugo because izuku's life is falling to pieces

he sprints towards him and katsuki will n e v e r admit it but he feels hope in that moment because some one is trying to help. even if its just izuku, he wasnt totally left for dead

all might sees this tiny, nervous, quirkless kid run straight up to a villain that almost killed him seconds before to save someone what looks like they'd rather die

and he thinks

"no one deserves one for all more than him"

and allmight, the most wanted villain in japan, maybe the world, jumps in

the heroes look at him and they are scared. if they couldnt take the sludge villain, what is all might going to do to them? but the scariest man in japan, the person parents tell their kids about to stop them from going out at night, blows the sludge villain to tiny pieces and carefully, gently, places the two boys by the heroes

before he vanishes before they can call for backup or even ask why

izuku gets yelled at by the heroes because the heroes are scared and angry they couldnt stop either of the villains and izuku is so overwhelmed that hes crying and he can hardly breathe

bakugo doesnt even yell at him because hes so dazed about everything that happened and he cant make himself yell at this sobbing kid that used to be his friend

(bakugo is holding izukus hand like hes going to crush it but its the only thing keeping izuku present)

izuku is walking home and hes still hicuping and crying because he almost died and the heroes hate him and he feels a hand on his shoulder, and a soft :"its ok now my boy"

he knows its all might but he cant help but hide his face in his shirt and sob

all might gets down so he can look izuku in the eye

"you asked me if you could be someone with out a quirk and i didnt get the chance to answer. my answer? you already are someone. you are someone that inspired me, a villain, to save the day. you are going to be amazing"

this painfully thin villain, who just saved his life and who has unimaginable strength

and he throws his arms around his waist and sobs

inko isnt a great mum in this au and she likes to basically pretend izuku doesnt exist

izuku trains a lot and has to make his own food bc his mum just ignores him

he sneaks out at night to clear trash and sneaks back in before dawn to clean the sand from his hair

he smells like saltwater and rust, and he hasnt slept more than 4 hours a night in weeks and katsuki is worried

all might sees him crumbling with a smile stuck on his face and he wants to stop him from self-destructing, but the kid will never learn his lesson until he feels his body give up under what hes doing to it. if all might steps in he'll do it again and again until no one stops him and hes never learnt his limit.

so he waits and he watches while he pretends he cant see the bags under his eyes and pretends that everytime izuku sways on his feet he doesnt feel a jolt of deep panic

did he do this? if he the reason izuku looks like hes falling apart before his eyes?

the kid passes the fuck out and all might tells him off in a soft dad way and izuku cries bc why does this villain care more than his mum does

and all might catches the end of that little mumble, and feels terrible so he pretends he didnt hear and takes him for lunch

they go to a cafe and all might buys izuku the cutest slice of cake and a big ass bowl of katsudon and some fancy fucking tea and covers the kids eyes every time he tries to look at the prices

izuku looks at all might and asks

"are you buying me katsudon with crime money"

and all might looks sheepish and izuku giggles like an idiot and says "dont tell me ill feel bad!!!"

all might grins bc this kid is honestly the only reason he hasnt stabbed a pro hero in a few months bc hes so fucking sweet

he has to carry izuku half the way home bc the kid could barely lift his chopsticks and almost fell asleep in the booth after he finished eating

and allmight, skinny and kinda scary is giving his 15 year old a piggy back and someone says "you're such a good dad!" and he almost coughs up his last lung

izuku mumbles sleepily and hes has the biggest warm and fuzzy feeling and hes going to yell bc hes All Might the No. 1 Villain and this fucking kid is drooling on his sweater but he would die for him

some random stranger on the street commenting on how it was rly fortunate that izuku inherited his adorable smile from his father

all might, abt to burst into tears: whack

allmight is easily flustered even when hes killed a man

he comes home and inko isnt there so he has to like, wake up izuku to get him to open the door and he feels bad bc izuku is a Sleepy Man

izuku mumbles that he cant ever tell if shes at home or not because nothing changes and all might feels a wave of "wait my son isnt being parented enough"

so he makes izuku a cup of tea and tucks him into bed after he has a shower because izuku is His Son Now Inko

hes like

sitting in the living room reading the paper and he hears inko's car and hes like ",,, fuck it im walking out the front door im no coward"

she doesnt even notice and hes going to scream because does she have a brain

inko, spaced out, tired and terrible: oh is the tall man here for izuku :))) thats great :)))

all might is screaming bc"" do you get let weird men into see your tiny son>???? what the fuck???

hes so small inko??? and you?? let random men in?????

all might would yeet her into the sun if he could but his boy needs an actual family member to make going to ua easier

inko is kinda mentally ill. she is depressed and often forgets she has izuku. like shes not always being terrible she just sometimes forget to do basic things

one time she locked izuku out of the house for 10 hours and he had to sleep next to the front door

one month she didnt buy any food so by the end of it he was starving and out of his own money and there was n o t h i n g in the house, but inko would go out to eat every night and lunch and not take her son

allmight is upset bc izuku didnt tell him but izuku is embarrassed. embarrassed that he was forgotten by his own mum, that he couldnt do anything to help her or himself and honestly mad he was so hungry all might noticed bc he didnt want to bug him

it was getting to the point that katsuki actually slipped some change into his bag with a candy bar

Can’t wait for Mac Miller’s Spirit to enter the next body of a genius .

I was hit with the deepest depression of my life the day Mac Miller died.

I sunk into a place, covered myself with a blanket then with dirt then a stone to cover the tumb after I hung a do not disturb sign at the door.

It’s not because I was a huge Mac fan, knew every one of his lyrics or even could tell you much about his life.

But Mac Millers time marked significance in my time. His death reminded me of the death of friends and dreams. Conscious friends and lucid dreams.

I started smoking weed in 12 the grade. I had little to nothing and new little to nothing about myself. I was told I was intelligent. I didn’t know how to swim.

I was just a foster kids with no definition of home and no desire to make one or be subdued by the offering of one or family.

I was alone I felt alone. I was ok in that for years.

So like most teens when you first start smoking in highschool I bought weed from the proclaimed misfits, the kids whos two parents didn’t get them, loved kid cuddi,

smoked weed and who bummed cigarettes off each other .Going in on an 8th together. They took their dirty fingernails to the weed to break it up.

I watched friend’s roll it with his saliva and dark lips.

White and black alike we all gathered around.

They all loved Mac Miller. Wiz khalifa and didn’t give a fuck about the bell schedule.

School and the professors we didn’t give a shit about could wait.

.we stayed in time together. Drum kits and lyrics.

Id usually disappear after someone rolled me one that I bought myself. No I didn’t know how to roll for some time. Plus getting my shit rolled kept me apart of the social. I usually shared it with my girl at the time and was left alone to be alone. She was there .the smoke settling in her hair. That would later die smh.

. Mac was the artist of our time.

He felt what we felt.

Made us feel what he felt probably more than what we felt.

We were lost and he was finding him. He found someone he didn’t enjoy that was obvious. Someone sad, thought-filled and unhopefully dream filled.

He kept making music. Found an outlet in it like most of it.

We would sit on the grass or crouch on elevated cement fixtures around our highschool campus.

Feeling like The hunchback of Notre Dame most likely.

I stopped smoking my last day of college. Vowing to be satisfied with my life. But that’s a whole other conversation.

Over the years I’ve heard Mac Miller songs on my Spotify mix and thought he was sounding more and more like funk and soul. One song even sounded like j Cole’s in my opinion. I remember riding through Oakland saying who does this guy think he is?

What got him into this new sound?

I was now an unpaid music critic. I loved sound and vibes. Obsessed with connection and fucking my life up by the seconds I did nothing with this interest.

Fast forward three years later I move to Long Beach. Not LA.

It was the middle of August and I had just moved into a sweet apartment by the beach near bars and restaurants.

We had wood floors and a cute Ikea carpet. My gf and I, although I referred to her as my partner at that time to feel more adult, had finally created our space.

I wasn’t working but I had some money in the bank from a settlement I fought for all by myself. Autonomy right. Self reliance . Yea . American

Over the years I would take time to sit down and watch NPRs tiny desk series. That August I watched Macs. Seeing him there. His face around his eyes as orange as his hat on his head made me feel something about the way I felt everything. Deeply.

I knew he wasn’t well because I knew I wasn’t well.

I could hear his voice crack on syllables that pricked his heart and mind at the same. He covered his mouth like I had Everytime in life I felt unworthy.

He was melting inside like ice cream on an August day. While he was also the kid watching his ice cream melt.

He was here and there. The observer and participant. The performer and the audience and that duality did him as much harm as it did good.

He was tormented by his ability and inabilities. His insight and his refusal to change what he saw. I checked out his song 2009 a few times after watching that performance and thought he did a good job.

The day was hot and we had decided we would rescue this dog at a shelter over an hr away. This had been our third time going up there and knew for sure we’d bring the dog home that day.

We listened to our Spotify playlists as we drove. The vibe was sunnyish with over cast. I felt it creeping on my neck. Did I really want this dog? Or did she? But why ? We had a perfectly good dog in the back seat. She took the craziest shit on our beach towel and a hoodie we had on the back seat the last trip we made up to the shelter. Why didn’t we turn back then?

I was numb and just doing things that made sense and looked cute in social society.

So why not two dogs. Both the same breed. ? Shrug. I’ll drive.

I’d drive the hr drive there and back Everytime.

This was me.

My overly informative Google phone broke the news. I knew it was coming like the dark that comes every night.

I was gone couldn’t tell you where I went. I lived in that moment for almost 10 months. And I’m just getting out of it and reflecting on it now. Imagine I wasn’t completely me before . Now I was just a shipwreck far from the shore and anyone that could save me. I didn’t think I needed saving. I would save me . I swayed back and forth between those two action plans for a while. I just came to realized what actually saved me.

I write all this to say,

Mac Miller was one of a kind, a guy on the journey with truth to his truth.

He was famously himself. Awkward, nervous, artistic and lost like most of us who loved him are.

One of his most shocking lines for me was in a stupid song called Weekend ft Miguel where he said “ I fell asleep but forgot to die. ” (2:21)

Swimming was made for us he would leave behind

The young adults he captivated in his career and journey as a musician this lifetime.

What does it mean to swim

Keep trying

Go to it

Surrender to the waves and the tide in your style.

You don’t control the timing

Just how you react

Sometimes some ppl swimming drown

They tried we remember them for it.

Keep swimming.

Bring ur floaties

And most importantly your community/ friends.

I think about how many of us are still swimming everything.

My friend who’s ex fiancee left her and made her move out months after proposing.

My other friend who’s children’s dad emotionally and verbally abused her for 5 yrs.

My love who’s family came to the US to get a better life. Her mom who’s suffered debilitating back and knee pain but still works a cleaning job every day to make a living.

My dead friend’s brother. (I wish there was a better way to write that sentence)

We keep swimming. We keep at whatever we feel like we should. For whatever reason we can muster up for that season.

This year I’ve had some of the most violent tides. I’ve had to ask friends and community to carry me. I realized that I had the tendency to live in moments.

I snapped out of a couple moments I had been living in for years. Like the time I became homeless and snapped, or the time I ruined my relationship with a good friend because I was too immature.

Im now present wondering how could something last for so long without me realizing it.

I don’t try to play cool anymore.

I was brought to my purpose on the backs of mentors and friends. Waves were getting very rough for me to manage alone. I was reminded of my kindness the soul they saw and experienced when speaking with me, regardless of the shit I saw. I was brought to my heart by Yoga meditation and emptied my mind filled with so much emotional baggage by way of sifting items through my heart.

It’s a great exercise. Please try it.

Anyways on the Anniversary of Malcoms death. Im sitting up writing in a cafe like I’ve never before.

I am considering myself to be an empath. Recognize that I am someone who lives with, in and around depression. I have the tendency for addiction and have a mother who is preoccupied with my sexuality to even see my soul.

I have accepted things, moved on from others (friends, lifestyles, preconceived notions of me, jobs, ( I just put in my two months notice at an investment firm) and hung up the idea of entrepreneurship)

My purpose is to improve the quality of life for as many people possible. With this first published piece I hope to connect with others affected by the death of Mac Miller or anyone they’ve loved, admired and had hope in.

There’s a lot of us out here. Let’s begin to speak on it. Communication, Form Community, Commune. Speak, connect and eat at each others tables.

I've had this constant thought of Yoongi having a young daughter who'll just sit in the studio and listening to him make music and sit on his lap while slaming her hands on the piano. omg.

listen, Yoongi being a rlly famous rapper + producer who looks rlly intimidating on stage and in the studio

But he's actually the biggest sweetheart and has the cutest daughter that he posts about literally all the freaking time

Her name is Soomi

I feel she'd be around 8-9 years old, goes to a private school and has a bff who is an actual sweetheart

Her bffs name is Jisung, hes an angel and the shyest bby EVER

Anywho, Soomi is honestly the best thing in Yoongi

She'll sit in his lap while he's at his studio and Yoongi will let her play the keyboard he has in his desk and shed fall asleep on the couch in the room and omg

She also draws A LOT and it's mostly drawings of her and Yoongi

Yoongi carries around this bag with all his papers and lyrics n' shit

But he also keeps the drawings that Soomi gives him cuz it's his little goodluck charm

Anyways

Since Yoongi is busy A LOT

His good friend Park Jimin, aka one of his back up dancers, takes her to a cafe close by, occasionally bring Jisung if he aint busy

Once time,, when Jimin was babysitting Soomi, Yoongi was in a meeting

She somehow got away from Jimin??

Soomi is the definition of a social butterfly, she'll end up starting a conversation with someone

Anyways, since she goes there so often shes already made friends with the workers there

Aka Hoseok, Jin, Jungkook, and Taehyung

She talks with them all the time, mostly Hoseok and Taehyung since Jin and Jungkook are busy making drinks and serving other customers

Also they know that Soomi is the daughter of the one and only famous rapper Agust D and that Jimin works for agust d

But they couldnt care less about that cuz they all just want the two of them to be comfortable in their cafe and make an effort to make sure no one crowds them or bothers them

(Also Jungkook and Taehyung have the fattest crush on Jimin omg, its so cute but thAT'LL BE FOR ANOTHER POST, vminkook everybody 🙏🏻🙏🏻)

Jin is honestly the best god damn baker ever, he owns the cafe and he makes cute little pastries for Soomi and Jimin

Jiddy boy is actually dating Kim Namjoon

Aka another big rapper

Aka a rlly good friend of Yoongis,,, like his studio is down the hall from Yoongis

Like the only reason Yoongi, Soomi, and Jimin know about Jins cafe is because Namjoon requested

Yoongi used to go there all the time but that was before Hobi started working there and Yoongi got stuck with sO MUCH WORK OML

Also soomi maybe hella young but she doesnt fail to drop hints to Hoseok that her famous father is single as fu—

K, now Hoseok would be a fan of Agust D,,,,,,, aka y o o n g i

And he occasionally writes music, raps, sings, also a hella good fckin dancer

He is a dance major

fun fricken fact,,, him and Jimin used to dance together when they were younger

He has offered to take Soomi off of his hands sometimes

So during his break he'll hang out w/ Soomi while Jimin takes care of some shiiiit

Now HERES WHERE YOONGI AND HOSEOK MEET

SO,,,, Jimin and Hoseok would actually be talking while Soomi sits in Hobis lap and draws with some crayons n' all that

Yoongi comes in lowkey upset, Jin greets him when he walks in with his bag full of all his ☄p r o d u c e r🌸 stuff

(Oh ya,,, no one knows that jin and namjoon are a t h i n g except for Yoongs)

Why is Yoongi upset? You may ask

Cuz Jimin wouldnt answer his fckin phone

And Jimin is one of his rlly good friends that'll listen to his music, see if theres anything to add, and he also listens to Yoongis ideas when it comes to MVs and Choreos n' shit

But Jimin wasnt answering his fricken phone so he kinda mad

So,,, ya boy walks up to Jimin and Hobi who are vv into a talk about dance and how they could hang and do some dancing together

Soomi is drawing a cute little thing of her and her dad and Hobi praises her for her artistic ability cuz omg what

Yoongi comes over irritated,,, full on dagger glares towards Jimin

"Hey Yoongs, didn't expect you to drop by, what's up?" Jimin doesn't even realize he's glaring

Hobi is flustered and s h o c k e d cuz Min Yoongi, aka Agust D is standing there looks hella fricken cute with his big scarf and black coat

But also highkey hot as hell

Yoongi notices Soomi sitting on Hobi's lap and he's like "uhhhh,,,, who tf is this??"

Soomi hops off of Hoseoks lap, eagerly grabbing Yoongi's hand and tugging him closer to Hoseok

"Dad! Dad, come over here! I wanna show you someo— Hobi! why are you so red?!"

Did I mention that Hobi has the smaaaaallest crush on Yoongi (its actually huge I must say)

Yoongi gets a g o o d look at Hobi and he's (mentally) like "who is this angel what the fuck??"

Yoongi, highkey in love, is like, "omg uh,,,, hi, I'm Yoongi" while holding his hand out

Hobi, internally fucking shitting himself, takes his hand and smiles, keeping his c o o l

"Hi, I'm Hoseok,"

Jin calls him over cuz Hobi's break is over and you can like,,,, physically f e e l both Yoongi and Hoseok disappointed

"Well, I'd love to talk more with you but I have to get back to work, see you around Jimin! Bye-bye Soomi!"

Gently pats Soomi's head, waves at the three of them before getting back to work

Yoongi highkey s t a r i n g cuz Hobi is literally fucking g l o w i n g

"Having fun there Yoongi?"

"Who the hell was that and why is he literally shining ??"

Both Jimin and Soomi are giggling while they get ready to leave and Soomi exclaims v e r y loudly

"Dad has a crush, Jiminie! Did you see the way he loo—"

"OKAY SOOMI,,, WE HAVE TO LEAVE, LET'S GO C'MON!"

Yoongi picking her up and almost sprinting out of the damn cafe with Jimin laughing his ass off behind him

Meanwhile behind the counter

Hobi is hot and flushed r e d, Jungkook and Tae highkey teasing the fck outta him , Jin scolding them all to get back to work while also snickering at Hobi's current state

Alright my honey dumplings,,,, I have w a y too many ideas for this au so I'll post a part 2... at some point,,, when I'm not busy....

Greyhounds, Goon and G'days

For the past six weeks I've been making my way down the east coast of Australia on the good old Greyhound bus. The journeys have been looooong, like very long, like up to 15 hours each time! To save money on accommodation, I've been pulling the oldest trick in the 'How To Save Money As A Traveller' book and done them all through the night. Unlike New Zealand, most places are so far away in Aus and when you look outside the window on any stretch of the coast, there really isn't much to look at but when you reach your destination you begin to realise why soooo many people choose to visit this country. I flew to Brisbane first and caught up with a few friends including one I met in America and the other I'd met in Hebden Bridge UK back in July. She kindly put me up for a few days and it was an amazing start to my adventure in Australia. I got to experience the buzzing atmosphere, the amazing shops (Tree Of Life being my personal favourite Australian chain) and the free, city hopper ferry. I would definitely recommend South Bank as being the best attraction of the centre. Finally we had a trip to the beautiful Sunshine Coast and I learnt that a Blue Bottle in Australia is not the insect we know it as back home but a stinging jelly fish, which viciously wraps its tail around you before stinging! Luckily I managed to dodge them but equally wasn’t impressed by the sand crabs lurking around you whilst you sunbathed! I suppose the wildlife is what you have to put up with in Australia in general and amongst its coastal line. I then flew to Cairns and although I didn’t make much of the boozy, British cultured town itself, I still got to experience the Great Barrier Reef, which genuinely amazed me. A side note to Cairns.... if you are 25 and over try not to be tempted to stay at Gilligans you will feel old! Anyway back to the Reef! A lot of travellers on the trip decided to dive but I just chose to snorkel and Im really glad I did because when swimming in the reef, you look down and like looking through a window you literally see right to the bottom of the ocean floor anyway and all the wonderful fish and colourful choral. When snorkelling you can float along on a noodle and just chill out and its cheaper! On top of that I was lucky enough to swim with four big turtles and a barracuda fish, which at first glance I thought was a shark and its safe to say I was very relieved to find it wasn’t! I tried swimming with reef sharks in Fiji and it really wasn’t my thing lol Next stop and 14 hours later was Airlie beach. A pretty coastal town, which was much more atmospheric and picturesque than Cairns. I met a lot of lovely people in the hostel and on the first day we spent some time relaxing by the lagoon. A lot of northern Queensland coastal towns tend to have lagoons, free to use, which sit right in the centre. In my opinion it is very necessary for the towns to have them as the temperature far north can be stifling hot and very humid! A few days later I went on a two day one night boat trip to the amazing Whitsundays. Ok so ill Start with the positives..... I couldn’t recommend a trip to Whitehaven beach enough. It was literally the most beautiful beach I have ever witnessed and looking down from the view point and taking that memorable picture of the swirling turquoise and white gold, it almost didn’t seem real. Whitehaven without a doubt was the best thing about the trip. The first day was filled with snorkelling, eating nice food and meeting other travellers, which was also a very lovely day.... but then came the night. If you are like me and don’t tend to research before a trip i.e. typing questions into google like 'what is it like to sleep on an adventure boat?' most of the time you will get away with it but sometimes it bites you on the ass! All night I felt like I was been cradled by a grizzly bare with so much strength you would think the boat was going to flip upside down at some points! Constant rocking side to side, which made me and some others feel like we were in a nightmare! So the point im trying to make is.... seasickness? Stick to a day trip! DO NOT sleep over! Up next was another main attraction of the east coast, Fraser Island. Fraser I have to say was so much fun and better than I expected! You and your selected group set out from Rainbow beach in a big 4 by 4 and get a ferry over to the island. Fraser is made entirely of sand so quite casually you spend your time there driving on it to get to each of the islands attractions. What I loved about Fraser was swimming in the lakes made entirely of spring water. The intense blue colours of them reminded me of the lakes I saw in New Zealand, except in Australia, the water is much warmer! The lazy river being one of my favs! You get to visit an old abandoned ship wreck and hike to the most beautiful view points. For three whole days I felt like I was part of a lovely family and with no signal on our phones, everyone just got to know each other so well and its safe to say a lot of drinking went down as each of the nights commenced! #goon The last part of my trip was spent visiting friends over the Christmas period. Stopping briefly in the hippy area of Byron Bay but mainly staying in Coogee Bay Sydney. Christmas day in Sydney was an unforgettable experience. It felt so wonderful but incredibly surreal. After being amazed by the cities attractions including the opera house, the bridge and the rocks etc and having Christmas dinner in Hard Rock Cafe, me and my friends made our way back to Coogee. Getting off the bus I was amazed to see the swarm of people covering the beach wearing bikinis and Santa hats, drinking their bags of goon and getting high. It was so weird to think of cold Britain and although I enjoyed my Aussy Christmas I wouldn’t change the way i normally experience it. After a week of visiting the beautiful beaches between Coogee and Bondi, visiting Manley, which I highly recommend and camping out NYE at 3pm for eight hours to see the spectacular fireworks right in the centre, i got on the greyhound and 14 hours later arrived at my last stop in Aus, Melbourne. A lot of travellers along the way have expressed their love of the city and I really understand why. There really isn’t a huge landmark like the opera house in Sydney but the unique, quirky atmosphere of Melbourne is something Sydney definitely doesn’t have. I just loved walking around and seeing how much choice there was for food and GOOD coffee. The side streets full of street art, which is constantly getting updated. At night I walked along the bridge to witness the colourful skyline and talented musicians busking on every street corner. The overall look and vibe to the city is something you definitely have to experience. One of my favourite spots in Aus by far and spent with a very good friend of mine to 😊 I also took a trip to St Kilda beach, which is a gorgeous spot in Melbourne that I highly recommend. Overall my six weeks in Australia, travelling completely independently has been a brilliant growing experience. There’s been a mixed bag of emotions, some sad but defiantly most of the time happy ones. The reason for this is when you get to the three month mark of travelling, you start to feel physically exhausted and the fact you are in such a hot climate doesn’t help. Moving around all the time carrying your heavy backpack and sleeping in bunk beds really does take its toll. With all that said, even though I would love the comfort of home sometimes, I would never trade this amazing experience. There is never a dull enough moment to make me want to go home as I know that moving around all the time means that no situation stays the same. I have had some days where I've been lonely and down but the next I've met people and had such a laugh. Its very important to not give up and to stick with it as the reward of travelling is seeing some of the most beautiful sights of the world and meeting people you would never normally have the chance of meeting. My time in Australia has also been a long chunk of my overall trip so including all of my experiences in this blog has been very tricky. So finally below I've listed the main things I've learnt about Aus! Enjoy and thanks for reading xxx Things I've learnt about Australia.... Don’t wear your hair in French plats! When travelling in hot heat, all you want to do is have your long hair out of your face. If you're planning on platting it like i did, make sure you put sun cream on your scalp! Yes I burnt all of my scalp sunbathing on the beach. Be careful! Be aware of hostel plugs! This is more a one off experience (and nothing to do with Aus) as I plugged my hairdryer into a plug in a hostel and got electricuted! I had to go in the back of an ambulance so they could take my heart rate etc. Not the way you want to start your night out! And its safe to say it didn’t do much for my travelling alone confidence. All was fine! So don't worry I'm ok! There is no shade on the Eastern beaches! When we go on holiday to Europe, its normal for us to hire out an umbrella and bed to protect ourselves from the harsh rays. But on probably one of the hottest coastal lines in the world... NOPE don’t expect to find them. In my opinion, I think its crazy and isn’t going to favour the countries skin cancer statistics. Everywhere I go in Aus, all I see is skin cancer clinics but the beaches arnt shaded??? Go figure 😂 There is never too much sun cream! Make sure you put a good amount on every morning and top up during the day. Its Australia, you will get burnt. Aus = LA! iv noticed that the Aussies are just as health conscious as LA people. There are so many health kick juice bars and breakfast places that sell muesli and acai bowls. If you are a health freak you certainly wouldn’t have a problem finding somewhere to eat here! Goon is the way to go! Its safe to say that Australia is one of the most expensive places to drink, except good old goon! A boxed wine which tastes like gone off apple juice but will get you very drunk is priced as little as 13 dollars! Aus has amazing wildlife! I stayed with a friend in countryside Victoria and was lucky enough to witness a field filled with kangaroos at sunset. It was a lovely moment. I also held a koala in one of those wild life places, which was also lovely but I only got to hold it for a millisecond just to get the picture as there was a queue of 20 odd tourists behind me waiting to take the same picture! Australia is only just over 220 years old! Yeh didn’t know that! Stay clear of Australian men! The ones iv met have been total freaks and I have come to the conclusion that the chat up lines are too vulgar to put on here! To sum it up, you could say that in terms of culture, the Australian east coast is a lot like Britain in the sun. There are probably more poms in Aus than Australians them selves. But the fact that you can drink from the streams and experience all the other wonderful things I’ve mentioned in this blog have always reminded me that I am most definitely on the other side of the world.
