YALLLLLLL IM SCREAMING
After months of keeping this a secret, I can finally share that The Librarian of Souls has gotten a NEW ILLUSTRATED COVER 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Rowan Woodcock fucking blew me away with this one. I just stare at my pretties all day now.
If you'd like your own version of this, you can buy the ebook on Amazon or ask your local bookshop to order you a copy.
I'm hoping sometime in the new year to also have signed editions of the new paperback available on my website. 🙏

Okay so please tell me you agonized over that phone call and it's repercussions at the end of Chapter 6 and didn't just decide to toy with them for sport? I mean right when he's determined to get her off and she seems more than receptive to his charms. It had to be painful to cut them off, right????
I 100% planned for that fucking tease at the end. I joyously wrote that. 😈😈😈😈 That is my area of expertise.
Edging
And spoilers
I do it a few more times. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Pre-order The Librarian of Souls now, out 11 May 23

"She sold her soul to the librarian a long time ago, she's got fiction lining her gentle heart, and poetry in her veins.."

Imagine being a librarian before 1908, but long after the disappearance of Abaton. You got nothing to see, no hollows, no soul jars. Hell, you’re probably never gonna know you’re peculiar unless you happen to walk into a loop on accident. But who does that yknow

The Librarian was an orang-utan, and no one thought that was at all odd. The Reader in Esoteric Studies spent so much time reading in what the Bursar referred to as ‘the smallest room’ that he was generally referred to as the Reader in The Lavatory, even on official documents. The Bursar himself in any normal society would have been considered more unglued than a used stamp in a downpour. The Dean had spent seventeen years writing a treatise on The Use of the Syllable ‘ENK’ in Levitation Spells of the Early Confused Period. The Archchancellor, who regularly used the long gallery above the Great Hall for archery practice and had accidentally shot the Bursar twice, thought the whole faculty was as crazy as loons, whatever a loon was.

[Image description: An NPC character card for Key and Legend from Dimension 20′s Neverafter.  Key has dark skin and a tall blue afro, and they use a pair of forearm crutches; their expression is wondering as they look to the side.  Legend has light skin and dark hair tied in a bun; she is smiling widely as he looks at the viewer.  Both wear a uniform of a white collared shirt and a black vest; Legend also a bright blue bow around her neck and Key has a large ring of keys attached to their belt.  The card reads “Key & Legend, The Librarians (they/them & she/he/him/her) Explanatory, Of the Self and Otherwise.” End ID]
Help your honour, I love them.

Full blurb:
Augustine Ravenscroft
Immortality is stale. For decades, I have been a paragon of self-control, never once allowing my sands to feast on the humans that surround me, tempt me.
Until her.
Every rule-abiding grain of sand in my body wants to swallow her whole, in her dreams and the mortal world. Her golden aura and honey scent drive me to the brink until I am breaking every order that has kept our monstrous community safe for centuries just to feel her joy and taste her arousal.
Joanna Cole
My life is stagnating. I’m stuck in a rut of trying to please everyone, but this only leads to more work and sleepless nights. The library is the only place I find solace.
And see him.
It’s ridiculous to have a crush on the librarian I have never spoken to, but he is the man of my dreams. Until one night, the dark and lustful dreams turn into reality. He wants to claim me, and I want him to own me.
When chance encounters don’t add up and old fae magic threatens my life, my only option is to trust Augustine and the new world of secrets and deception he has shown me.

Love being called an “old soul” by my much older coworkers at the library. I thought libraries were supposed to be filled with people who were bad at socializing as kids

"Ship up or ship out."
OMFG what the hell is Patrick's problem? Joanna has been freaking amazing with all she has done for him and now this is how he's carrying on. Surely he has to be on something or worse being manipulated by someone? I mean he can't really believe she doesn't have the company's best interests in mind. Something is definitely off here and I can't wait to find out what it is and how Joanna and Augustine will deal it and anyone else that's involved.
My lips are sealed 🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐

"She's a demon, a library heathen and she snatches books with a laugh.. she grabs them cause she's got to have them with no intention of bringing them back. The librarian fights her and bites her, but can't keep her hands off the stacks.. then she crawls up the walls, and goes down the hall into the room that is pitch black with a laugh."
She's not really a demon, I exaggerated.. she's just crazy about books and she gets excitable, haha - eUë

So we’ve heard from The Boy again, once again mentioning his fascination with knives, which I’m still nervous about. But I’m more worried at the notion that Tamika doesn’t seem to think she can prevent The Boy from doing as he pleases. Tamika is typically so confident, especially in her physical abilities. Is The Boy more powerful than her? Does she know that for certain, or is the fact that librarians feel scared of him that’s throwing her?
