Wriggling fingers

Summary: When Ace had been younger he had been subjected to tickle attacks a lot growing up. He had thought maybe in NRC he could escape. Oh wrong he is

A child's high pitched scream could be heard all the way from downstairs to the kitchen in which a couple sat doing some paperwork. Now normally, this could cause some form of concern and make parents rush to see what the noise was but these parents just sighed as if this was a regular occurrence, shook their heads and shared a fond smile before going back to their work.

The screaming continued and got louder closer as the source of the scream ran from his older brother.

"Momma. Daddy!" Ace yelled as he ran to hide behind his parents from his older brother.

"C'mon Acey. The tickle monster is going to get you." Jack Trapolla wriggled his fingers threateningly, advancing slowly as to both scare his brother but also give him time to run

"Daddy!" Ace cried as he ran to his father.

The man merely sighed and scooped up his baby when he came close enough and held him tightly to his chest, rubbing his back soothingly, whilst fixing his eldest son with a look that said 'really?'

Jack at least looked mildly sheepish and rubbed the back of his neck apologetically.

"Jack." Their dad sighed, disappointment in his voice "You know you're not supposed to do that." The man scolded his son lightly but both Jack and his wife could see the mischief in his eyes and Ace's mother shared a similar twinkle. "You're supposed to do it like this!" And the high pitched screaming returned, this time followed by childish giggling and hiccuping.

"Ooh, give me!" Pouted his wife reaching for their son to tickle him aswell and he acceded and gave him over, smiling apologetically when his son shot him a betrayed look.

"Come to mama!" Ace's mom laughed as she tickled his little stomach making the little one squeal once again and squirming to try and get away from the torture

Jack soon joined and Ace eventually conceded, and let his little self be tickled persistently by his family.

Eventually, they let him off and he hiccuped as he tried to get his breathing back under control. When a loud yawn escaped him, his family turned to look at him fondly and all chuckled at the adorable sight of the little one whipping his eyes with his pudgy little hands.

Jack gently picked him up from his mother's hold and held him tightly "Sleepy?" He asked gently and laughed softly when Ace merely nodded and whined out an affirmation. "Let's get you to bed then"

"Bye mama. Bye daddy." Ace waved goodbye to his parents as his parents waved back an image of calm and collected on the outside whilst on the inside screaming over how cute their baby was.

As Jack set his little brother down on his bed he couldn't help but place a loving kiss on his forehead. "You're going to grow up to be a little trickster one day for sure." And he seemed oddly proud of his little brother growing up to cause mayhem and chaos but I digress. "But you're still going to be this family's baby."

And with that the eldest Trappola sibling got up and walked out, not without running around and giving his sleeping little brother a soft smile.

Over the years Ace had been forcefully subjected to tickle attacks by his family and when he thought he would have been able to avoid it at Night Raven he had been deadly mistaken.

As Ace sighed for nth time Yuu felt their self control snap bit by bit.

When Ace sighed again, Yuu snapped their book shut and smiled sweetly at him, a dark aura surrounding them as they turned to their friend. The first year group winced whilst others smirked at the heart eyed boy. Things were about to get interesting.

"Is there something wrong Ace?" Yuu asked, voice saccharine sweet. Now, any normal person would recognise the danger in Yuu's voice but Ace's mind was on something else so he merely replied smart-ass as always.

"Yeah. All of us are way too bored and I know for a fact that you've just been staring at your text book not understanding anything for the past 10 minutes, Prefect." Ace replied, smirking as Yuu flushed at being called out so brazenly.

"Yeah well maybe I would be able to concentrate if someone didn't keep interrupting my concentration!" Yuu retorted as they poked Ace on his sides, not expecting the glory that would come out of that. Ace's face flushed into a pretty pink colour and he let out a squeak.

Everyone stopped their fake revising and turned to look at the first year, all with varying looks of disbelief.

"W-what?" Deuce looked like he had seen a miracle, looking disbelieving at Ace.

"It was just a sneeze!" The lie was so bold that a blind person could see through it.

"Oh really?" Yuu replied, mischief in their voice as they reached over and poked him again before he could react. Another squeak left him and he tried to cover his sides from anymore but it was already too late, Yuu had pounced on him.

"W-wait n-no! S-stop it!" He cried out as Yuu tickled him incessantly. He tries to fight them off but due to his weakened state he couldn't do much and was forced to let himself be mercilessly tickled.

Suddenly, he felt another pair of hands join in tickling him and he let out a shriek of laughter, his attempts at escape renewing as he tried to escape more hands but it was already too late.

By the time he had given up all of the first years had joined in tickling him and he had all become a limp noodle that can only let out high pitched laughter.

Eventually, they all ceased in their torture and allowed the redhead to breathe for a moment.

As they all stared at him they couldn't help but feel their cheeks flush at remembering how cute the other had sounded.

"Well then," Yuu interrupted their collective moment of appreciation "Now I know a sure way to keep you quiet" they said slyly, eyes full of revenge.

Ace gulped and crawled away ever so slightly and picked up a textbook and buried his face in it to hide his burning face from his friends whilst everyone just stared at the redhead, their heads already thinking of ways to take advantage of this newly learned information.

After that day Ace knew peace and safety nowhere and now had to look left and right because if he didn't he would get attacked. At least it was only the first years and his family, right? It couldn't get any worse than this, right?

Ha. Right.

Ace needed new friends and stat because the heathens he currently called friends were the spawn of satan out there to get him.

For the past week or so he'd been tickled, both in public and in private and he'd had too many close calls for his liking

"Hey Acey~" the traitors he called friends would coo as they would wiggle their fingers and head towards him, backing him up against a wall, trapping him and not allowing him to escape from their teasing.

This time it happened one lovely afternoon where he was lounging at Heartstaybul, completely innocent and minding his own business. In fact, he was so engrossed in doing his own little thing he hadn't noticed his senpais and Deuce approach him and he certainly hadn't noticed Deuce shush their senpai as he tiptoed closer and closer to him and he only noticed when a loud shriek left his mouth.

"D-deuce!" He cursed between breathless laughter. "I-I h-hate y-" he shrieked again as Deuce doubled his efforts.

"So mean Acey~" the fucker mockingly pouted, smirking that infuriating smirk he had when he realised he was a mere centimetere taller than him. "And I'm only making you laugh~" the blue haired boy's smirk only grew bigger when Ace just cursed again between laughter.

He felt their senpai's confusion slowly vanish as they all smirked at the oddly adorable scene in front of them, Ace laughing with tears streaming down his cheeks, making his normally pale face flush red.

They slowly walked over to the pair and one by one started tickling him as well.

"S-senpai!" Ace protested as he tried to escape from Riddle's hands as the small housewarden aimed for his neck and Cater aimed for his sides as well.

Trey smirked and laughed at his struggling kouhai "C'mon Ace. This way we're promoting friendly bonds between senpai and kouhai." However the shit eating grin on his face showed that he only found pleasure in bullying his mischievous little underclassmen. As an older brother he knew the greatest tickle spots out there and planned to utilise every bit of information he had.

"Yeah Acey~" grinned Cater. "You look so cute as well"

Riddle said nothing, merely focusing his efforts in finding out how high the younger laugh could get.

Deuce watched all of this with fondness in his eyes as he watched one of his best friends get utterly wrecked.

Ace truly was adorable when he wasn't being an utter terror.

Twisted Wonderland and DnD Ideas

Okay, so I know that this sort of thing isn't technically in my ballpark, but dammit, it's been bothering me for a few days and I need to just get my brain going because I'm distracted with this idea and I'm tempted to make a funny side-series on it alksdfjlkajl

As you can tell by the title, it's TWST with DnD because of the shiny math rocks and all that fun stuff are there and chaotic adventures.

How the NRC boys learn about DnD is from Yuu/Yuusona. They get invested in the crazy world that Yuu has played in. They think DnD is a video game or something, but no, it's a TTRPG and it's all based on dice and decisions.

Some of them like Ace and Epel initially think that it's a little nerdy and weird, but in actuality, they learn about the freedom that DnD provides due to the whole dice mechanic.

Deuce would be into it as well, but the mention of math would make him hesitant until Yuu mentions that it was simple math and using calculators was okay, so that's fine!

As a part of the board game club, Idia and Azul think that it's an interesting game, the former being so excited about it that he basically makes Yuu/Yuusona describe it all in detail as much as possible.

Idia would definitely want to play the game, although the social aspect of it would make him want to strictly play online than in person. Idia would make a bot to play on TWST's version of Discord and implement everything that's needed to make it run.

Azul would wonder about marketing strategies based on the concept and Yuu would off-handedly mention how there were places that did just that in their world, so if Azul wanted to, he could do it.

I imagine Yuu being a Dungeon Master/Game Master and that's why they know a lot of the game mechanics off the top of their head. Forever DM and all that rip.

Either that or Yuu was going back home after a long session of DMing for their group and brought all their DnD stuff with them to TWST. I can see them having a digital copy of all their books on an iPad or something because that's always good to have on hand. Or something along those lines because I've got ✨ideas✨

Anyways, Yuu would have to explain that there are ways to play DnD. If the others want to play DnD, they hold a Session Zero because you should always have a Session Zero to discuss what should go on in the campaign. Brainstorming away, they get everyone's stuff ready for the most part, and yeah, that's how things begin.

As for classes... I've got some in mind for the others :D

Deuce would want to play as a Paladin, mostly because the idea of a knight character with an Oath sounds a lot like himself. Either that or a Fighter because it's pretty simple and straightforward without being too confusing.

Ace would lean somewhere between a Bard, Rogue, or a Warlock, mostly because he's smart enough to use Charisma to his advantage in real life. Rogue because it suits him and his sneaky nature, plus sleight-of-hand tricks are an essential part of being a Rogue.

Epel would be a Barbarian. Rage, full-out attack, and just being the strongest person on the team- that's a dream for him. It's either that or one of the melee classes. An interesting pick would be a Cleric, although he'd go for a War Cleric.

Jack is a tricky one because he can fit into a number of roles. An interesting one would be Monk, mostly because the idea of Jack playing a Monk makes sense to me. He's another person who can be a Fighter, but Druid could also be interesting for him, depending on the context of his character. Also, Unleash the Beast is basically Wild Shape if only limited to him turning into a wolf.

Sebek would want to be a Magic Caster and is warned about the Spellcasting mechanics of the game beforehand. He's a diligent guy, so he listens carefully to the rules and remembers them. That being said, Sebek would definitely want to play something like a Sorcerer (Dragon lineage) or possibly a Warlock with a Pact with the Fae. He'd definitely be choosing a Half-Elf as his first character though.

Ortho would be interested in the idea of an Artificer or a Wizard. The reason is for their intelligence and Ortho's always excited to learn new things. Also, an interesting one to consider for Ortho is a Rogue that's diving into the Mastermind subclass. Sorcerer's Clockwork Soul is an interesting one to consider too 🤔

How would the NRC boys would react if Soni took them back in time to the Husui region?

Note: I haven't been able to play Legends: Arceus yet, but I do know a decent amount of the story now.

I think their collective reaction to this whole thing is "Who made a time machine?" because all of a sudden, they were thousands of years with little understanding of how they got there. They are very lucky to have avoided their memories being erased oof

Soni, being someone who's not familiar with Hisui but is knowledgeable about old Johto practices (i.e. Apricorns can be made into Pokeballs and making Potions using herbs and Berries), would rely on what she knows.

Because if you get thrown to Hisui as in "stranded there with no idea as to escape" and everyone around you is trying to survive, then it's best to find shelter and provide for yourself. Pokemon in this time period weren't as domesticated as they are in the modern-day, so they were pretty dangerous entities that many people often avoided and outright feared. NRC boys would be looked at strangely if they asked any of the locals if they liked Pokemon. Although if the people they came across had grown accustomed to seeing Pokemon around the town, then there's a higher chance of a positive reaction. For the most part, it's very 50-50.

Lilia would reminisce on his memories of the Far East as he looks around Hisui, although Soni would have to tell the others (Malleus, Sebek, Leona, etc.) to hide their animalistic features via magic. It's not easy to blend them in, especially when someone from the village wonders who the heck they are and where they came from.

Soni worked overtime to convince the people living in the nearby village that they were just looking around for a place to stay for a brief point of time.

Those who were used to handling Pokemon (catching them, battling them, etc.) were given temporary positions in the Team Galactic Survey Corps in different areas.

Depending on the people who get sent into the past, who gets what wildly differs.

Rook and Soni were prime catching experts as well as great on the field, given their skillsets. Silver and Sebek are likely candidates for survival as they've been trained by Lilia in the past, although they have to rely on their physical strength as opposed to their magic in Hisui.

Floyd and Jade leave as they please and do as they please on their missions. No one bothers to correct them as they are too intimidating lol

Ruggie, Deuce, Trey, Jamil, and Kalim were a part of the group that stayed in the village, assisting in part-time jobs like cooking for the Corps, dealing with the Pokemon that were in the field (the PC area), and even learning how to make medicines like Potions from what the field group brought back from their work. Their clubs and understanding of Pokemon Care/club activities, and skillsets (Jamil with his own antidote kit from Episode 5) are what give them that opportunity.

Vil looked at the little Bidoof running around the village and his own Bidoof just greeting the other Bidoof cheerfully. Vil is getting all sorts of inspiration from the clothing but also does his damnedest to look good with local products. It goes surprisingly well, especially with the local hairdressers.

Epel and Jack would do heavy-lifting duty, despite many of the Hisuian people there thinking otherwise with Epel.

The NRC Boys with Pokemon are seen as different, given how they easily bond with Pokemon. Ruggie and Morpeko are given funny looks when Morpeko goes on a Hunger Mode spree. Deuce babying Happiny makes some wonder what's the point of such a thing.

Ace, Cater, Leona, and Malleus would get the simple tasks of delivering things to and from places. Ace is the best at rolling and dodging Pokemon attacks due to his exposure to them.

Azul would be a great secretary, but I'm not entirely sure if they'd trust him enough to give him that sort of job. Maybe as a greeter by the door?

Like I said, NRC boys are given funny looks and are treated as such. Soni isn't immune from this either, especially when she goes through the tasks like it's nothing. Very efficient and does her work well enough that people can't deny her contribution to the village.

The potato mochi is delicious, but people are relieved when they get back to the present in Twisted Wonderland. No one said that trips to the past were fun-
