I recently asserted that Sarah-Jane and the Bannerman Road kids rarely stumble across trouble, trouble comes to fuck with them. I have decided to test if my assertion is true, the numbers are as follows

investigative journalism (characters investigate a company/phenomenom/disappearace/whatever and find aliens): 9/37 stories

an accident (no matter what these characters would have been involved, wrong place wrong time): 5/37 stories

fuck you (antagonists are specifically messing with Sarah-Jane or the Bannerman Road kids, sometimes for the sake of it, sometimes because its part of their plans for world domination): 17/37 stories

please note some of the episodes count for multiple categories, obviously every fuck you is targeted, sometimes at multiple people, but sometimes different characters get involved in different ways

The Day of the Clown: a clown follows Clyde and Rani, they then do investigations, but the clown following is the inciting incident (fuck you Clyde and Rani)

Secrets of the Stars: investigating a guy for who astrology works, his plan would have happened anyway, but the group are interested before that (investigative journalism)

The Mark of the Berserker: this one is difficult to call, ultimately the main antagonist of the episode is Clyde's dad, the episode would have ended a quarter of the way through were it not for Clyde's dad stealing the pendant Rani found, him then getting Clyde to leave with him is what got everyone else involved. Ultimately this one is a combination of Rani investigating why that boy was acting strangely, and Clyde's dad taking Clyde and causing the actual problems (investigative journalism, fuck you Clyde)

The Temptation of Sarah-Jane Smith: the Trickster lays a trap for Sarah-Jane so cause the world to descend into a dystopian hellscape (fuck you Sarah-Jane)

Enemy of the Bane: Miss Wormwood shows back up and asks Sarah-Jane for help, it is a trap but thats how our group get involved (fuck you Sarah-Jane)

Series 3 (Prisoner of the Judoon - The Gift)

Prisoner of the Judoon: Sarah-Jane tracks a pod and they find an alien fugitive (investigative journalism)

The Mad Woman in the Attic: Rani's friend has been emailing her about weird stuff at a themepark local to him, as she is pulled into it by investigation from someone not in the main group, I'm not counting it as investigative journalism (fuck you Rani)

The Wedding of Sarah-Jane Smith: another trap by the Trickster (fuck you Sarah-Jane)

The Eternitiy Trap: this one is tricky, as far as I remember, the group are asked there by some scientist friends, but I don't think it counts as a fuck you deal (investigative journalism, fuck you nobody)

The Mona Lisa's Revenge: the Mona Lisa comes to life while the kids are at the art gallery on a school trip (accident)

The Gift: the Blathereen give the group a gift that turns out to be a bioweapon (fuck you everybody)

Series 4 (The Nightmare Man - Goodbye Sarah-Jane Smith)

The Empty Planet: everyone on Earth disappears, except Clyde and Rani because they were grounded by the Judoon in a previous story (fuck you Clyde and Rani)

Lost in Time: another tricky one, investigative journalism least them to a man who spreads them all throughout time, except the man wanted to be found so its more like a trap (fuck you everybody)

Goodbye Sarah-Jane Smith: a woman ingratiates herself with Sarah-Jane and the gang so she can make Sarah-Jane believe she's loosing touch, and ultimately take over the Earth (fuck you Sarah-Jane)

Series 5 (Sky - The Man Who Never Was)

Investigative Journalism: 1/3 | Accident: 1/3 | Fuck You: 1/3 | Fuck You Sarah-Jane: 1/3

In your years as poll runner, what are the most memorable (affectionate) and most memorable (derogatory) propaganda that you've received?

Hi, thanks for the ask! I did have to go back through the propaganda tag to find them because my memory is in shambles, but I think, in general, the most memorable (affectionate) propaganda is when someone writes it for one of my nepo/less well-known faves (Reinhardt from DPA, my beloved). Specifically, however, maybe the “Liu Mingyan is aegosexual” propaganda for the AroAce-Spec Character Tournament since I’m somewhere similar on the ace spectrum (I enjoyed a lot of the Aroace-Spec Tournament propaganda & notes as well since I’m aroace lol). But the Su She propaganda also changed how I viewed his character immensely…. I don’t know it’s all good & equally impossible for me (specifically) to remember lol

Most memorable (derogatory) is harder since once I block someone, it is instantly out of my mind. They are gone with the wind. I don’t really get any memorable (derogatory) propaganda except that one time a Jiang Cheng poll breached containment & got a bunch of “Jiang Cheng is homophobic why would you EVER vote for him I’m so disappointed in y’all” stuff. The only time I actually got mad enough to screenshot/save something was this tag:

are you named after anyone? my gov name is after liv from law&order svu which i cant even be mad about but i dont think the name suits me. the name i actually go by was sort of made up by my older sister when she was 1 so no.

when was the last time you cried? honestly no idea, i don’t cry enough, im working on it.

do you have kids? no and im currently in a crisis about whether i want them. i told a close friend the other day that i think id love it if it were an accident but seeing as im a greyace lesbian... one of my siblings/friends is going to have to take one for the team and kick the bucket in a fiery crash so i can raise the kid with good morals

do you use sarcasm a lot? yeah, i feel like an average amount (maybe slightly above average)

what’s the first thing you notice about people? tendency to help/give others the benefit of the doubt, also how they move/sit/walk, mannerisms and the like

what’s your eye colour? unclear... sometimes fairly dark brown sometimes verging on hazel

scary movies or happy endings? depends. i do like a happy ending but scary movies really do it for me when i need to feel things without... emotions?

it really is! even if you’re not in a position where interior temperatures are to the point where they’d be dangerous or unhealthy for anyone, there are a lot of chronic conditions that are very temperature sensitive! but a lot of the time no one really thinks about that if they don’t have or care a lot about someone who has a condition like that, so it always makes me happy when people don’t have to learn it the hard way :’)

lol I totally get it, every time I go to a store in my wheelchair I have to do constant mental calculations to figure out if I can fit around random displays or restock boxes or clothing racks or the like (and sometimes I just say fuck it and jam myself through anyway, surprise ada compliance test). people on the sidewalk usually move if I call out to them though, since I don’t act like I’m gonna stop for their sake XD it can be so inconvenient though!

how about instead of guilting people for not taking care of themselves we realize that the options are often either: making yourself physically ill thinking about how you’re not doing something or not doing that

the second will always be a better option — even though you’re still not doing whatever it is you need to do — bc spiraling about being so lazy and worthless that your health is going to suffer bc you cant even take care of yourself will not help you go do that, but spiraling will negatively effect your health in itself

#if the options are hurting urself by not doing it AND by worrying about it or not doing as much as u should & worrying less: the latter wins #whats that lizzo quote about loving yourself being survival? its not exactly the same but accepting executive disfunction is survival #the only thing hating yourself for not being able to go take care of yourself accomplishes is further hurting yourself #you dont care #just unfollowed someone i’d been following for like 5 yrs bc they dont tag for shit and #they reblogged a post railing against people assuring other people its okay to just use mouthwash if you cant brush them #and i am EXTREMELY anxious about teeth bc my executive disfunction really hurts my oral hygiene and i have regular nightmares about it #but that doesnt change my behavior bc thats how executive disfunction is #so instead of convincing myself to at least brush my teeth since i cant get myself to shower‚ i spent an hr spiraling about my teeth #would i have gone to brush my teeth? maybe. maybe not. but seeing that post made it an almost definite no #bc ive made myself feel so sick that id probably gag myself multiple times if i tried and my stomach already hurts enough #anyway fuck op and fuck the person i used to follow their blog was annoying more often than not since they got into check please #i get that op was mad that their oral health was severely damaged by neglect but what does their post accomplish? nothing

Alright so here are the hatchetmen/daddy notes, I'll go into more detail in the synopsis, but I wanna get this out for the people who need it-

They're a bunch of sleezy men, played by james, jon, and nick.

I think they're all brothers, at least they're referred to that way. Not sure if its by blood or like a brotherhood kind of way.

They keep calling the leader of this patriarchy, bob Metsker(played by Dylan Saunders) Daddy. Clearly leading up to the episode of the same name

Bob says he paid for his land with blood 👀👀

"Don't you think its time the kids move out, maybe to Clivesdale?" -Emma

"My kin, stays with their DAAADDDYYY" -Bob

Emma's mad at him, saying there's not a problems since she's not going on his property, and she's mad that they're harassing ziggs, saying what she does on her property is her business.

"What you've done with this land is an abomination!" -bob

he doesnt care about the weed being grown, he cares about the trees she chopped to make way for the weed fields

ziggs is kinda into it at first, "mad respect, save the trees!"

emmas great grand dad bought this land

bob gives one final warning to leave, but emma simply says that shes now gotta build a fence

as she walks off, bob directly quotes the judge who ordered the execution of willabella muckwab in witch in the web

"the innocent must suffer, the guilty must be punished, you must taste blood to be a man!"

starting to wonder if this is like a hatchetmen mantra or something

a few hours later, emma confesses why her weed is so good

she's a horrible farmer, in fact, her weed in high school was grown in her closet, she didn't even know to give it sunlight, she forgot to water it, the dog peed in it, but people loved it

she says the secret is she uses soil from the witchwood, that's why her weed is so good, she's convinced the soil is magic (well you're not far off there emma 👀👀)

ziggs notes that if the soils magic, the trees are probably magic, and wonders if thats why those guys were so mad they cut the trees down

Just then, they're farmhouse is broken in by the matsker clan with torches and axes

They then burry emma and ziggs with only their heads above the dirt

emma tries to plead with bob, promising 20% of their annual profit

Bob starts exposition dumping and here's the juicy good stuff.

he explains to emma that some born in this town are different.

they called it having a touch of the Gift

He clearly hates these people, calling it vile sorcery

"it is the sword duty of the hatchetmen to collect these freaks and bring them here. To be planted."

he then says something i cant quite make out "the ritual cleanses them of their dangerous flesh" i think? "and gives them a new body, of bark, and leaves! Their roots and canopies make a net to catch all that bad magic, so that it may not seep into the precious skin of anymore beautiful babies!"

"When you cut down those trees you opened the floodgates! Now every teenybopper in town is susceptible to this malady!"

(dude all im hearing is more hatchetfield witches uh yes please!)

"you took all the power built up in that soil and you smoked it!!"

anyways side note emma mentions how the magic makes everything grow bigger, faster, stronger, so that's why baby jerry grew so quickly and got so demented.

bob wants them to atone and be apart of a new crop

so i guess he wants emma and ziggs to be tree people, which is a lil weird considering, despite what I picked up from my first watch, neither of them have the gift

however if anyone were to make witch emma or ziggs content pls tag me id love that so so much 👀👀

bob then goes to destroy the weed and bury emma and ziggs but are then killed by the nighthawks

anyways that was whirlwind of an exposition/lore dump

i do! i dont think ive ever been asked about them before so yay!

mandatory disclaimer that this post is about the show, not the books, and idc what happens in the books and wont be taking it into consideration here

okay so i think my brotp tag for them ("crazy scientists but make it glam") pretty much sums it up. i love the concept of crazy scientists magnus and izzy. like... if magnus and alec lose braincells when theyre together, magnus and izzy gain braincells, but lose Common Sense

because they are both so into similar things like physics and biochem and technology and magic, so if the subject comes up they will start excitedly talking about idk the possibilities for time travel or something, and alec of course has no interest in those things so hes like "k imma get a drink" and when he comes back magnus and izzy are Actually Seriously Planning On Launching Themselves To Mars and he has to be like "or maybe we could discuss this here on earth???" and alec is really not used to being the voice of reason when it comes to magnus but alas

and i just love magnus and izzy as that duo who can like spend hours talking in depth about the mechanisms of time travel or cures for magical diseases or whichever subject theyre focusing on at the moment and who make a mean team when working together but who can also get Too Excited and lose it a little

other than that the other thing i like about magnus and izzy is that they can relate to each other on that sense of being reduced to The Hot Fashionista, you know? like magnus is called a lothario and izzy is always treated like her one personality trait is Sexy™ and i think both of them kind of use that perception as an armor for themselves. i have talked about that in relation to magnus several times so i dont think it bears repeating because he himself compared his eyeliner to tiger stripes and magicked makeup on when he was feeling bad and alec was coming, so. but anyway my point is that izzy is no different and that was addressed in the sh that is good and lives in my head instead of her just being reduced to eye candy the whole show

like it's obvious that izzy's whole thing with being Sexy™ is something that she uses as part of her rebel act. like, her mom is gonna reduce her to a stupid slut anyway, so why not act the part? case in point: twi!izzy. in the world where the lightwoods weren't making her and alec's life hell, she allowed herself to be a lot more casual. also the way she is always talking about how she can do everything they do in heels, how she always uses her body to be "the distraction" and/or to gather information, to lure in demons even tho thats unnecessary, etc. like i think a part of izzy feels like sex is all she's good at and so she lays that in as thick as possible. she even kind of said so when she said that one of the reasons why she liked raphael is because she knew that sex wasn't a part of the equation for him

disclaimer! dressing in revealing clothes and/or sleeping around is not bad and doesnt inherently mean that the person has Unresolved Issues that end up manifesting like that, or whatever. i think izzy also dresses as she does because she likes it and good for her! she also clearly likes sex and good for her!!!! and it definitely doesn't mean her relationships are shallow because we saw how fiercely loyal she is to those he loves, platonically or romantically. i just think that the way she built her identity around that is partially because it is a good armor - if she presents herself as shallow and concerned only with instant pleasure and looking pretty, people won't get too close. and when they treat her as such, it doesn't hurt as much because she IS laying it on thick and she IS sexy and she can use it to her advantage, even to manipulate people, so whos laughing now?

for example, in s1 in particular izzy was always acting like she cared about nothing but having fun and going to parties, yet it was obvious that izzy actually cared way more about saving the downworld and helping those she loves, particularly alec. like she presents herself as shallow and unconcerned with anything but her own pleasure but it's clear that she's willing to throw all of that away - even give herself up to get married to whoever her parents choose, her own worst nightmare - for what actually matters and drives her: her loved ones and what she thinks is right. she was okay with getting deruned for what she believed in, thats not a shallow person. so obviously that whole thing was an act, and well, why put up an act like that when it borders on annoying honestly? i think it's to protect herself, for the reasons listed above

plus, it makes her mom mad, and a part of her is obviously defining herself in opposition to her mom. if her mom wants something out of her, she does the opposite, and that applies to her clothing too

anyway all of that is to say that magnus and izzy have a similar relationship with 1- their "lothario"/"slut" personas, and 2- the way they understand fashion and clothing. it's about expressing something to others, something that protects their vulnerabilities, for the both of them. and while i don't think they (particularly izzy) are exactly dying to go deep into that subject and their armors, there is that understanding between them, you know? and under the right amount of alcohol and in a safe enough environment when its just the two of them they might even talk about it and its nice to have someone who completely understands it, you know, that pretty specific defense mechanism and being reduced to sexualized stereotypes (especially since both of them are bi. id mention both of them being brown too but izzy's racial belonging in the show is uhhhhh weird to say the least so i wont get into that)

and also just the silly things! going to parties together, going shopping together, remember when magnus and izzy were both wearing the exact same color scheme and pattern? obsessed with the idea of them color coordinating just for like, the challenge of creating outfits that dont look the same or even like theyre supposed to match but that have similars colors and textures and patterns, you know?

also they are fantastic at gifting each other and somehow always know Exactly What The Other Has Their Eyes Own. like izzy will give magnus some eyeliner and he'll be like "how did you know ive been meaning to buy that?" and she'll go "i didnt" and wink at him, and the opposite is also true. or alternatively izzy will get him a book on astronomy and he'll be like "how did you know i was hyperfixating on black holes??" and she'll be like "i didn't" and the other way around as well. alec asks for their help buying gifts for the other more often than not, but izzy realized a long time ago that magnus likes alec's gifts better than hers, because even tho they aren't always a perfect fit, they are always so thoughtful and blow him away even tho that was in no way alec's intention (see: the omamori)

also izzy is fiercely protective of alec, magnus, and their relationship as a whole, which sometimes really warms magnus' heart when she just. jumps in to their defense when someone is being bitchy, you know? it's nice that she has their back

Im also so so sick of those fics not being properly tagged and im lowkey kinda thinking about writing a (lighthearted) fic about benrey pretending not to have powers postcanon because he thinks thats why gordon doesnt like him and its just. -UERGH WHY DOES VLAD HAVE AN AI WITH MADDIE'S FACE ON IT. SOOO CREEPY. AND MORE 'CREATIONS' waiiiit. vlad is Dr. Frankenstein! (despite his ghost design obviously referencing vampires) HE HAS 'CREATIONS' HE MAKES THEN WONT TAKE REAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR!!! this bitch.

-danny was late and his friends immediately start going off about how hes inconsiderate, and has been treating them like sidekicks??? he just overslept, my god. chill. even if he has, be nicer about talking about it with him?? he really can't help that he sometimes has to chase the ghosts, or has a secret identity to protect...

-imagine going home and theres a tiny child on your bed claiming to be your cousin. with as many cousins I have, I would probably believe her. but the 'ran away from home' BIT....SHES 12?? -vlad sucks: the episode, basically. what's new!! I love how he's like, I'm Not A Villain. *immediately cuts to him torturing danny to make him transform, to get mid-transformation DNA, to perfect a Clone.* *immediately shows that he doesnt give a shit about his new daughter Dani and just wants a ''more perfect clone'' and will put her in danger to get that. will let her DIE to get that*

-Dani is danny's clone and is a girl? transgenderism....one of them has to be trans. or they both are.

-gregor having white hair, dressed in black and white...and green eyes...sam has a Type, I guess.

-danny being unnecessarily hostile about gregor. danny!!! hes been nice so far. he looks a little...tall to be 14, but. danny doesnt know anything about him! (he does Suspect, but...you cant just spy on people and be rude to them from a hunch.) also, gregor kissed her, and when she freaked out, he was like 'oh no!! sorry, we can take it slow! I understand!' which was NICE. I hate jealousy plots still tho.

-altho. umm. tucker, being concerned about danny spying on them??? SAM AND YOU WERE SPYING ON DANNY AND VALERIE A FEW EPISODES AGO!!!!! im not saying its RIGHT, but dont be a hypocrite!!! AND THEN SAM BEING MAD ABOUT IT, TOO.

-DANNY IS A 7 ON THE SCALE OF ECTOPLASMIC POWER!!! out of 10? so I want to know where the other ghosts rank...I mean it's a list from the guys in white, so, it may not even be accurate, like, they havent seen ALL of his powers, have they?

-Lancer being like 'im not cooperating with the FEDS' until they said they could access his tax records. they already did that joke with jack, but like, its still funny. kings of tax evasion.

-tucker's aggressive third-wheeling. but gregor being super into it. gregor/tucker is the real ship here. then gregor kissing danny on both cheeks after hugging him. bi poly king gregor. (he does turn out to be a liar with a phoney accent. unsurprising, BUT THE CONCEPT OF HIM BEING GENUINE AND THEM ALL DATING IS FUN)

-THE...GUYS IN WHITE THINKING GREGOR IS DANNY PHANTOM. LMAOOO. GET HIS ASS. or,, Elliot. lmfao

-sam saying tucker is part of the package because theyre friends was super sweet <3 but also 'part of the package'...polyships are obviously the solution to these dumb jealousy/love triangle plots.

-THE SICK TATTOO GHOST IS NAMED LYDIA!!! more Lore On her. freakshow seemed genuinely concerned about her. also, is she mute? I don't think she talked the first time we saw her, either. and we didn't know freakshow 'envied' ghosts, either, the first time, we just knew he was controlling them. interesting!

-...they literally stole the infinity gauntlet from marvel and called it the reality gauntlet. is that legal. what the fuck. even with the gems in the lil slots, having different powers...they had freakshow in jail, but didnt check his pockets??! hes just still in his lil outfit??? what kind of ...oh, its in amity park. yeah, all of the adults are idiots, okay, sure.

-'freakshow!' 'in the anemic flesh!' dude take some iron pills then. also, sure, the red eyes could be contacts for his aesthetic, but the whites of his eyes are yellow! does he have jaundice?! he severely needs more...like, every kind of vitamin. (this is what im worried about as freakshow attacks danny with giant robots)

-again, goth circus is a sick theme, and I love his goth train.

-oh FUCK every single person saw danny transform. on a stage. including his parents via TV. oh god. the guys in white and immediately like 'youre coming in for experiments!' SCARY. at least the crowd is willing to help him to escape...perks of now being a local celeb! even the kids at school are accepting :) this is what, the third time his family has found out? its always been an alt timeline tho. and danny fully intending to just rewrite things again instead of...I dunno, trying to roll with it this time? hes really worried his family won't accept him, huh...

-'maybe our son IS THE GHOST BOY, but its not as if our family's ghostly activities have EVER PUT YOUR FAMILIES IN DANGER' maddie. mmmmmmmmmmmm. okay.

-the old man saying 'hey, i still had minutes left!' and danny saying 'you gotta watch those roaming charges!' about danny destroying the people in the diner's phones so no one could report seeing him...would kids today understand these things. can you even BUY minutes anymore...I remember my first phone being a flip phone, and the fact I always had minutes when my sister ran out super fast, because I didnt have friends calling or texting me like she did...:/

-then he WIPED THEIR MEMORIES AGAIN!!! FUCK. I can understand him wiping the goverments/student bodies' memories, but why his parents?? they were being accepting!! ARGHHH. season 3 couldve been them all trying to adjust to them knowing!

-I know, on a meta level the showrunners probably wanted to just reset things to the status quo of him having a secret identity. But. We've been doing that for (2) seasons, I'd love if season 3 could be like, his parents adjusting to this and trying way harder to learn more and accept it (and the shenanigans that could come from that) and for fun, if he didn't wipe the students memories, it could be him being popular for a while, then everyone slowly realizing, oh, he's still Danny. Like. he might have ghost powers but hes Just The Same Guy instead of putting him on a pedestal (and seeing them all try and help him hide it from the giw/people who don't know!!)

-fuck they didn't even explain WHY he wiped everyone except sam, tucker and jazz's memories. he just Did It right when his parents were saying they loved/accepted him!! and sam and tucker didnt question it at all!!! HELLO??? very annoyed about this turn of events.

-anyway. onto season 3! I know its shorter than the first two seasons, and is the last season... I might just do it in 2 bursts if I can... :3c depends on the episodes' content and how much I want to say about each!

Ngl this is like 1600+ words and i wrote it in like twenty minutes and loved every minute of it. i really hope you like it! i didnt end up adding anything ‘sexy’ but its pretty gratifying to say the least lol.

i rocked back into the couch, laughing at what chris had said. he was sat next to me, very comfortably, as we chatted amongst ourselves. we had been very close friends for a very long time and i was over the moon that he'd invited me to travel with them for this tour as the videographer. not only did i get to expand my portfolio but i also got to connect with my best friend and his band.

"okay but do you remember that one fall at the orchard when you tripped on that apple and ended up face first in the dirt?"

he laughed out and i sent him a shocked expression.

"i thought we agreed to never bring that up!"

i protested, the other guys around us sort of laughing along, them only half paying attention as they played a new video game. their focus was above our heads.

"but it was hilarious. i looked up for a split second and BAM! there you went."

he said loudly, being a little more expressive at the 'bam.' i shook my head at him.

"okay then, if we are ratting each other out about stupid shit weve done,what about that one time you got your hand stuck in the Christmas tree ties on your dads car?"

i said matter-of-factly. his eyes got wide.

"hey! that was an accident and you know it. we couldve taken my whole arm off!"

he said in his defense.

"i thought it was hilarious."

i said sternly back, smiling widely at him. he stuck his tongue out at me, a notion i gladly mirrored. then he grabbed me around the shoulders, pulling me to him. i screamed at the sudden motion, looking to vinny and rick who were sitting across from us for some guidance but they were to into the game.

"you two are too much."

ricky laughed out, looking at ryan for a second as he walked by. chris pulled me closer before licking a stripe up my face.

"ew!"

i said pulling away from him and wiping his saliva off of my face.

"asshole!"

i said, grabbing his face and blowing raspberries into his cheek. he laughed incredulously, pushing me away from him.

"youre nasty."

he said mimicking my notion and wiping his face. i punched his arm lightly before swinging my legs into his lap, him holding them there and looking down at me endearingly.

"so are you."

i said back, shaking my head at him, nose scrunched.

"you know you love me."

he said, bringing his face closer to mine.

"well yeah."

i said back, squinting at him.

"i think im done for tonight."

vinny said suddenly, pausing the game. ricky sent him a look like 'wtf?' and watched him stand.

"im gonna go get some air."

he said and we all watched him walk off the bus.

"that was weird right?"

i asked and they all nodded. i had a good few chances to talk to vinny since tour had started and he seemed like a really cool guy. someone id be lucky to call a close friend by the time tour was over if not something more. part of me felt bad, like chris and i really where too much for him to handle in that moment. but this was how we always were. we practically survived our teens years together, losing touch for a bit but inevitably going back to the way things where when we found each other back.

"you guys mind if i go out there too?"

i asked and they all sort of shrugged at me, chris letting my legs go so i could stand. as i did i leaned down and kissed the top of his head.

"dont miss me while im gone."

i joked and he rolled his eyes at me.

"of course not."

i laughed a little bit as i descended down the stairs, pushing the door open and seeing vinny leaning against the bus.

"you okay?"

i asked softly, walking to him and rubbing my hands together. i had sort of forgotten how cold it had got. it was late fall after all but the bus was so warm and inviting i didnt even think about grabbing a jacket before leaving. i half shivered as i walked closer, his face being illuminated by the street lights outside the venue.

"uh yeah, everything's great."

he said a little condescendingly, kicking his foot into the gravel under him.

"im sorry if we were too much, i guess when we get together we have a tendency to overshare and its not for everyone. but i suppose thats what you get when youre comfortable with someone the way we are."

i tried to defend to him and he let out a short sigh-laugh.

"its no big deal, you guys really like each other. its cool."

i smiled.

"yeah, hes my best friend."

vinny nodded once.

"how long have you guys been together? i dont recall him ever talking about you before."

i drew my brows.

"together?"

i asked and he seemed just as confused as i was.

"look i get it, chris gets all the girls, being the front man and all."

he seemed a little jealous.

"but i dont think he ever mentioned you before tour started and then one day he told us about some girl coming on to film us. but clearly you guys are close so do you have like a, i dont know, like a open relationship type thing?"

i laughed a little bit.

"you think chris and i are dating?"

he half shrugged.

"well yeah, its kinda obvious."

i shook my head and took his hand in mine.

"vinny i can assure you that chris and i are just friends. if anything hes like the brother i never asked for nor wanted but got anyways. but life just does that sometimes."

he looked down at our connected hands and let go of me promptly.

"i guess it just doesnt seem like that."

he said a little hurt. i sighed and leaned against the bus next to him.

"it would be kind of weird to bring it up to him but i like someone else in this band, if you wanted to know."

i said, looking at him a little hopeful he was picking up what i was putting down.

"oh."

he said sadly. i sighed, i guess not.

"yeah, hes super cool, and nice, and ive really enjoyed connecting with him."

i shivered as the wind blew and he finally looked over at me.

"are you cold?"

he asked, ignoring what i had just said. i nodded a little bit, crossing my arms over my chest.

"just a little bit but i ll be fine."

he shook his head at me.

"no way, here."

he said taking his jacket off. at least he had long sleeves on. he placed his jacket over my shoulders, pulling it together in the front.

"thanks vin."

i said as we both returned to our positions against the bus.

"would your new dream guy do that?"

he half joked, i could still hear the venom in his voice. he was absolutely jealous. i thought it was funny because now he was jealous of himself.

"actually yeah."

he scoffed, hiking his foot up on the side of the bus.

"great."

he said looking away from me. i stepped closer and nudged him.

"he would because he just did."

he looked at me and drew his brows together.

"wait you mean?"

he asked, his face turning to that of shock. i nodded.

"god, yes. vin ive had a crush on you since i got here."

i laughed out.

"i didnt think you would like me back and then i realized just now that that was utter bullshit."

he half smiled.

"and whys that?"

he asked a little cocky.

"you were jealous of chris and that has only happened to me a handful of times in my life. once in highschool when my boyfriend said he would break up with me if i didnt stop hanging out with him. once when i graduated college and my then boyfriend accused me of sleeping with him. and right now."

he looked down a little ashamed.

"yeah i guess that wasnt fair of me to do. i just figured since you guys hit it off so fast that you were into him."

i laughed a little bit.

"dont get me wrong i love him with my whole being, but seeing someone go through puberty just does something to your vision of them ya know?"

i asked and he laughed back, nodding.

"okay, well if you really are into me, would it be stepping to far to ask you out?"

he said hopefully and i grinned widely at him.

"i would love that vin."

he sent me a tired smile in the dim street lights.

"may i also be so bold as to ask if i could kiss you?"

i let out a nervous laugh. i was really gonna let that happen huh? i nodded.

"id like that a lot vin."

he stepped closer to me slowly, placing his hand gently against my cheek, running his thumb over it. his hands were rough and calloused from playing the drums so long but i didnt mind. it kind of felt nice. he looked deep into my eyes before leaning down and capturing my lips in his. all of a sudden it felt like home, like this was it, the thing id wanted for so long and never found. his other hand made its way to my waist as he deepend the kiss. i sighed into him, practically melting against his mouth like chocolate left outside in the sun on a hot day. when he pulled away he rested his forehead against mine and smiled like an idiot, one i gladly returned.

"fucking finally."

i heard from behind me, the bus door clicking closed. both of us turned to look, seeing ricky and chris standing there grinning from ear to ear. i had a mad blush splayed across my face now and was thankful that the light was behind me so it would be harder to see.

"how long have you been standing there?"

i demanded, walking to chris and punching his arm. he laughed in pain as he rubbed his arm.

"long enough to see the sparks fly."

he teased, pushing me back. i rolled my eyes at him.

"get your ass back in the bus."

i said opening the door and escorting him back inside. he made kissy noises at me as rick followed him up the stairs. i shook my head and turned around, jumping a little bit at vinnys presence behind me.

"rick had kind of been waiting for that for a while."

he said, looking up at the now closed door. i raised a a brow.

"oh?"

i asked and he sent me a bashful smile, scratching the back of his neck lightly.

"ive been crushing over you for a while too. and being jealous of chris just as long, rick's been pushing me to say something. i guess it just took one last little push."

he shamefully laughed out.

"at least now we're on the same page."

i said before standing on my tip toes and bringing him down to kiss me again, both of his hands going to my waist.

"now come on, im still cold and the bus is much warmer."

i joked and he nodded along.

"agreed."

On The Prowl... Ending!!!

Pt 9

Summary. Reader is a human female researching beastmen in the jungle. She thinks they dont exist only to be captured by a purple panther. He brings her to his den where his pack is . And they only want one thing. Kittens & Puppies

Shinso. Purple panther.

Bakugo. Lion

Stain. Black wolf

Todoroki. Leopard.

Aizawa. Jaguar

Shinso was still off on his own with the four kittens. Watching them mew and walk into each other. They looked very helpless, fragile...

Meanwhile you were now sitting up staring at the fire holding the deer fur close around yourself. The frozen leaves Shoto slipped between your thighs had melted and you were sore, able to walk, but sore. Bakugo would still not look at you or talk to you, he just stared at the fire, his left ear twitching in irritation . If anything he should be mad a Todoroki not you.

Chizome brought you some deer and you just stared at it for a minute then up at the big wolf. He blinked asking if you were gonna eat it . You shook your head but said thank you anyway. The wolf sat down on the other side of the fire to eat the deer. You were hungry but... not for deer. Was Todoroki still waiting for Shinso? Carfully you turned to your side , winching from the slight pain you had in your stomach , the fire now on your side felt soothing, making you quickly forget the pain .

Todoroki was still waiting by the den, his tail flicking every few minutes. You turned back to face the fire . You had a nasty feeling in the pit of your stomach, were your kittens alive? Dead? You did not get a good look at them either so you had no idea what color they were. You prayed they were purple..for Shinso’s sake.

Shinso returned awhile later stopping by Todoroki for a minute to see his reaction . He then made his way to you dropping the kittens on your lap. You jumped catching them finally being able to see them.

“They need names...” he said sitting next to you.

You just about cried. Purple. Four purple kittens. All fussing with eachother on your lap. They could smell you and sense your emotions. They all cried out and you dropped the blanket hugging them crying hard. Shinso apologizes for how he treated you during the pregnancy and you didint really hear him. You were so caught up with the kittens. Your kittens.

“So what now. Im not waiting” Bakugo snapped over at you and Shinso.

Todoroki came over too and Chizome looked up from his deer. You wiped your eyes and placed a kitten on your breast to nurse them, you pet the other two who had to wait. You were scared, you couldint have more right away like this. The kittens needed you.

“I was thinking about that.” The panther purred. “What if we leave this jungle, go where Aizawa was.”

“Thats where this one came from” Chizome said pointing at you.

You switched the kittens out trying not to listen.

“I think it is time to leave, but will you be joining us ? Shinso?” Todoroki asked.

“No, i need to go somewhere where Aizawa wont find my family.”

“But you broke the bastards legs” Bakugo added

“He will heal, and come for me.” Shinso said. “If you want to leave now, then go. I cant go till Y/N is able.”

Bakugo shoved himself up walking to Shinso looking down at him growling. Shinso looked up , giving him a tired smile. The lion scoffed walking away. “Whatever, im going. I dont care if you two follow me or not. Dont you dare get in trouble though!”

“Ill try not too” the panther said smirking.

Chizome got up and Shinso nodded at him, Todoroki was about to follow the lion and wolf but stopped to look back at Shinso.

“Id rather not have us split up.” He said calmly.

“Its for the best Todoroki.”

“You were a good Alpha.”

“Thank you, Todoroki”

The leopard vanished into the jungle and everything was quiet. All the kittens were asleep curled up on eachother in your lap. You still had tears in your eyes. You didint question anything, they were purple. Thats all that matterd. Shinso put his arm around you discussing where you all could go, it had to be someplace secluded, protected.

“Shin..”

“Yes?”

“I dont care where it is. I have everything i need.”

He smiled nuzzling your face purring loud. Gently he picked you up and you picked up the kittens . He brought you into his cave laying you down and snuggling all of you all night.

A few days later you were able to travel , you had a grass dress on now and Shinso got you materials to craft a basket with vine straps to carry the kittens. They could see and hear now and were running all around your feet when they werent in the basket.

Bagheera. The oldest. The self acclaimed sibling protector.

Kovu. The second oldest. The independant one.

Kazu,The third one. The lazy one.

Katsu. The fourth one. And the one with the biggest temper.

It would be a long journey to your new home. And you could not wait to share the rest of your life with your family at your new forever home.
