This is so true. Olivia has always struggled to make every single one of her relationships (except with Ed) work, because she’s always been in love with Elliot. And now we have Barba confess that he loves her. I think this symbolises that if Olivia had ever gotten over Elliot, she would perhaps move on with Barba. The best friend that loves and cares about her so deeply, who’s watched her be hurt on the sidelines and wants nothing more than her happiness. It hurts.
