Whumpees that are encouraged to ask for help, but think that others would be impressed if they didn't ever need it

Whumpees that cannot, under any circumstance, allow others to know what has happened to them, even if it allows Whumper to get away with it, because what would the others think of me if they knew how weak and helpless I was? Or that it actually left a lasting impact on me?

Whumpees who obsessively cover up their scars with makeup

Whumpees who isolate themselves whenever the people around them get too 'invasive' by asking basic questions about Whumpee's mental state

Whumpees who are offended at the mere mention that they may have actually been traumatized, because they're too strong/tough/resilient for anything to actually affect them, and claiming anything else amounts to a personal insult

Whumpees who will not tell anyone if they're sick or injured because they don't want anyone to see them hurting, until they collapse and have to be dragged to a doctor

Whumpees who think that they're better than others because they were strong enough to survive nevermind the debilitating trauma

Intellectually they know there was nothing they could have done to prevent their own death, and it isn't their fault that they weren't there for the other characters, but that doesn't stop them from feeling anguish for not being there when they were needed.

I don't care how many times it's been done and it could just be the trauma, but I love the trope of a good person who's done their best their whole life to do what they're supposed to and follow the rules and has never hurt anyone, but is so wronged and traumatized by the people and society around them who, once again, they've done nothing to, that they just snap and go completely unhinged.

Carrying Whumpee

Is your whumpee sick? Injured? Misbehaving? Pick them up and carry them to your destination!

A beaten, brutalized Whumpee is very gently carried by the medic, Whumpee's head rests on Medic's shoulder, muttering delirious pleas for help.

Team Member is sick, far too sick to be working like this. Leader has to scoop them up and drag them to bed, despite Team Member's protests and indignant wriggling.

A Hero carries a bound Villain slung over their shoulder. Villain remarks how tight Hero's costume is in the back. Hero drops them on their face.

They can't find a pulse. Caretaker cradles the body of Whumpee, numb.

A prideful Whumpee with a newly broken leg has to awkwardly accept help from a Caretaker, being carried is a large punch to the ego but at least they're getting to a doctor.

The inherent intimacy of holding someone close to your chest, their head resting on your shoulder. It's the implicit trust, I think.

Whumper captures an escaping Whumpee, picking them up and dragging them back to Whumper's hideout. Whumpee's wounds chafe against Whumper's jacket, Whumper's nails dig into Whumpee's leg.
