I have issues and I wanted to check something and then I went overboard with it so yall are getting my research lol

I wanted to see what's the average of times per season that Buck and Eddie have touched each other on purpose while not in imminent danger or necessary for a call because someone made a post about the last time being the hug in 3x06 and I couldn't get that out of my head. We are ignoring the 3 hugs and the shoulder bumps since those are a lot more a consequence of how close to each other they walk.

Season 2 has Eddie tapping Buck with the tool before the ambulance, the handshake after it, the fistbump, blurry boyfriends in the background, Buck tapping Eddie before the "why wont you date" convo, after Thomas dies, fistbump in merry xmas, spiderman routine side hug. That's 8.

Season 3 has the post-tsunami shoulder grab. And that's it. We do have that moment where Eddie's hand hovers over Buck's shoulder at the trainwreck, the shoulder grab is the only instance besides the 2 hugs.

Season 4 has... nothing. I mean, the crossover has 2, but the crossover doesn't count lol

Season 5 has the shoulder touch. And that's it.

Season 6 has the return of the blurry boyfriends but that's it.

That's 9 intentional touches, 11 if we go with the blurry boyfriends in the background too.

But why did I feel like doing all of this? This season they have already touched more than seasons 3, 4, 5, and 6 combined :)

If we were averaging out at around 2 touches per season, we're already at that lol something shifted.
