And if that doesn’t work he‘ll manipulate his way through

Very smart: outsmarts the dragons, the puzzles and literally everything else

His special skill only improves his already crazy good manipulation skills

Only problem is if he gets caught by a dragon he’s practically toast

How would a platonic Yandere! Batfam react to a foster sister who, well, doesn't grow very tall?

All the family memebers of the Batfam are, to least to say, giants. Even the shortes one is quite tall than the avarage height. (All of them, except the child version of Damian, are between 5'5 and 6'2 feet tall. )

But what would happen if his adopted little sister, who eats well, lives a healthy life, has no signs of illness and so on, becomes short in height? She is simply no taller than 5 feet and that's it. All of them grew up well! why you were the exception?

Would they worry that their little sister wouldn't grow up no matter how hard they tried, or would they be happy to have a "pocket edition" little sister?

I don’t want to keep the height strictly 5 foot just for the x reader element, I never want to force one body type into my writings (except for chubby) just because I want everyone to feel included and one body’s deformed shortness will be different to another. 

But yes!! 

I head canon that all the bat-boys have little snacks that they keep, some not as nutritional as others, but they all end up having more healthy snacks on them because of little ol’ you.

Sandwiches with whatever spread you like, more perishable sandwiches are only brought at short distances not missions (if so, they are bought fresh), cut up fruit, fruit snacks, the jelly beans you find at pharmacies with the red and white cross on the bag, bottles of water and little cartons of juice of whatever flavour you might prefer that day (trust me, Alfred always somehow knows what flavour you’re going to like that day). 

I feel like they would all worry about your short height to an extent, Bruce being the worry wart, constantly getting you checked out every two weeks, making sure you take vitamin gummies (because let’s face it, they’re better than pills and I will NOT take pills).

Second to ol’ Brucey is Jason, he died- and he probably freaks the FUCK out when you keep growing but you don’t show any signs of getting taller. At first, he keeps assuring himself that you’ll grow.

“They’re just a late bloomer”

“May- Maybe Their just short!” 

“Why arn’t they growin- Oh my god is (Y/N) dying?! I told that old man to kidnap them earlier!” 

Oh, Jason definitely watches you when you sleep (like the rest of them) and furrows his brows, trying to figure out an answer to why you’re so small.

The rest of them do have lingering thoughts but they can see Bruce dragging you to the doctors every other week and they make sure your on top of your meals and medicine so they don’t really outwardly do anything else. Tim definitely does poke at your height as a joke, but it does help his delusion of you needing him, like the rest of the fam. All of the boys definately try to 'secretly" show of their strength around you so you rely on them more, though you figured this out quickly and it's somewhat amusing to see them show off their muscles like a peacock.

If you do feel bad about how you look the rest of them will shoot Tim down immediately and praise you up and down. Some of the other more silent boys might do this in a more discreet way but rest be assured your getting the floor you walk on kissed. They might even let you have very light work outs! (Without any equipment) though it usually turns into you sitting on their backs to help them with their push ups or holding their feet so they can send you a compliment or tease as they come up from a sit up.

Foster! Reader is fed a lot- Full plates at every meal, breakfast, lunch and dinner is ate and there is a strict ‘NO SKIPPING’ policy. Even if it’s just a few bites, even just one, your ass better eat and after a fit from you because you watched your siblings skip their meals without any harassment or scolding, the rest of the family now has the same rule as you (much to Bruce’s chagrin after trying to make his kids have a normal eating schedule since forever.) 

Overall they would just be a bit more strict with eating rules and making sure you feel good in your body, but other than that mostly the same.

Aww your just a little thing, you wouldnt survive in the real world cub. Hu? What do you mean "the doctor says I'm healthy and fit?", you might be but your still oh so small and you need your family to protect you! Can't you see how weak you are compared to our big beefy bodies? You don't have to worry your cute little head about it though! Your boys will always be here to take care of you.

Heya! In which of the boys route do you think Yui was broken/hurt the most?

I always wanted to know which would be the worst scenario (route) for like.. an avarage girl irl . I know most girls would not survive there😅 but just wanted to know your opinion which of those 6 doors you would never open. Or 13 if we count all the characters.

// Since it's an otome game, it goes without saying that there will be a lot of plot armor and that the love interests can't really harm the heroine seriously throughout the route, regardless of what she does, because the plot would go nowhere like that. Most characters are jerks but not really that hard to handle, since they were known for scaring Yui rather than letting her get genuinely hurt. However there were certain Diaboys who were very scary, as it felt like they had no feelings of remorse or empathy.

Laito:

Can’t say that his HDB route is the worst thing Rejet has ever written (because it’s definitely not) but it baffled me how he was so okay with Yui breaking like that to the point where she lost all her will to live and only wanted to be set free from him. I mean, she literally tried to commit and he was just there not even intending to stop her bleeding veins despite being the one who cut them?? It’s true that in the Vampire Ending she doesn’t turn out that bad but after all, this is just because it’s fiction.

Kanato:

He was easier to understand than Laito because at least you were able to know that he had a soft spot for sweets and Teddy. Nevertheless, it was a bit too much how he kept stabbing Yui with the fork and a few chapters later, I’m pretty sure he stabbed Yui with a knife in more places as well. Still, it’s surprising how she turned out worse in his route, considering the fact that in the afterstory she kills innocent people—

Kou:

I love Kou but he was a literal demon in MB. I really hated how he made his fans bully Yui JUST FOR FUN. It wasn’t even any sort of punishment, he merely wanted to make her suffer. Another thing I couldn’t stand was how he kept putting Yui’s life in danger, only to make her prove her love. I understand wanting to test someone but it would have been way better if he actually saved Yui after seeing her do something dangerous. That way it would have proved that he cared for her yet he continued to watch her get hurt for him over and over again, without feeling any empathy. He was sorta redeemed at the end but yeah, most of his route was big yikes, especially since you wouldn’t have expected a cheerful and friendly idol like him to be such a wicked person.

Carla:

I like the Tsukinami family's desire to preserve their lineage but sorry, I must say that I find it repulsive that a 17-year-old would be forced to become pregnant out of the blue with strangers. I understand that Yui was partially to blame for Carla's anger and subsequent dungeon scene but that moment grossed me out sooo bad. She lost her will to live but Carla literally jumped on a depressed girl and was on the verge of rap€ing her, if his Endzeit didn’t kick in. He gets gradually better throughout his route but this scene left a sore taste in my mouth.

Kino:

Look, Kino is a great villain and a lot of fun, but his LE route was trash. Kino killed a child, mistreated Yui, abducted both Yui and Ayato, planned to sell Ayato to the church for execution, manipulated Yui and tortured Ayato. The pain he caused them both was immense and although I appreciated Yui calling him out, it's so sad that she was brainwashed. While it's true that Kino can be quite cute when he wants to, their romance was so rushed and forced because they didn't give us any reason why Yui would fall for him other than manipulation when Ayato, who was seen to care more about her than for himself, was right there. I wish they developed Kino’s feelings better, given that he straight up blackmailed Yui to become his, otherwise Ayato would had been killed, therefore Yui had no other choice but accept the situation. That’s why his CL route is way better.

I only mentioned 5 instead of 6 but that’s mostly because no other character came closer to them in terms of bad scenario. The rest of them felt decent in their routes for a game called Diabolik Lovers, lol.

The day you Grayson Hawthorne it was an avarage Tuesday night . It had been a long day of lecture and then a long two hours of studing afterwards, but now you were finally at your safe space, the local bookshop. God, how you could spend hours wandering the aisles, just admiring the books. There was something special about the smell of coffee, the shelves stacked to the ceiling and the velvet reading chairs placed here and there that made you really love this place.

You had been aimlessly walking through the romance aisle when you felt a tap on your shoulder, you spun around to see who had tapped you only to see a gorgeous pair of grey eyes staring down at you, “um- hello, do you know where I can find the classic literature?” An American accent? “Oh uh, I don’t work here I’m sorry.” You turned back to your shelf but the guy tapped on your shoulder again. “I said I don’t work here, did you not hear me?” You turned around to look at the guy again, god he really was handsome. “I- uh I know but um, could you just tell me anyway?” He frowned slightly, “I don’t have time to be wandering around a bookshop like a lost deer.” You sighed and put your books back on the shelf, “asshole.” You muttered under your breath, the guy raised one eyebrow, “what was that?”

“nothing.”

“I’m Grayson by the way, Grayson Hawthorne.” Had you heard that name before? “That’s nice to know, Graham.” You smirked at yourself, purposely trying to piss this Grayson guy off. “No it’s Grayson, not Graham.” Grayson spat out, “I heard you Graham.” Grayson didn’t attempt to make any small talk on the rest of the way to the classics section.

Once the book girl had dropped him off he brought his books and left. He walked back to the hotel, although he wasn’t sure why, he could easily call a driver to come and collect him, but instead he decided to walk home in the pouring rain. There was one thing that was bothering him, that girl. Why didn’t I ask for her name? He thought, he had the perfect opportunity to, right when he’d introduced himself, the girl didn’t look like she’d recognised him. This could be his chance for something real, something that his brothers had that he yearned for so dearly. You’re being fucking delusional he had spoken to this girl once, and she’d gotten his name wrong, what was he thinking? But, she was pretty, more than pretty actually she was beautiful. Him and his brothers were in London for a week. A week only, if he visited that bookshop everyday and hoped that she was there, could he, just maybe, talk to her? Maybe even invite her to dinner?

Soo that’s part one 🤭🤭 I really hope you like it @never-enough-novels because I really enjoyed writing it, part 2 should be out but Saturday! (And yes in my mind Grayson is the most delulu person ever)

Timespeckle and Mothtuft were born in Mistclan, along with Silverwater and Darkspeckle. They were found next to a dead loner and were taken into the clan, Timespeckle and Mothtuft were adopted by Burdocktangle and Cougerlily. While Silverwater and Darkspeckle were adopted by Sparrowfur and Basshollow.

Timespeckle graduated at 11 moons for his hard work, Mothtuft graduated late at 14 moons because of their self-respect. Silverwater graduated at 11 moons and Darkspeckle graduated at 12 moons, only for both of them to get taken away by two-legs on a patrol a moon later.

Descriptions:

Timespeckle: A average sized rosette tabby tom with short white fur and pale ginger markings. Timespeckle has one copper eye and one emerald eye, wearing bluebells, vines, and a single clover.

Mothtuft: A little under avarage sized classic tabby cat with short light brown fur. Mothtuft has heather blue eyes, taking care of multiple bugs.

Despite all the insults Lemonjumble threw at Frozendrift for being a tom queen, it never stopped Frozendrift's kindness to the other tom. Later in life they became mates and adopted 4 kits before Lemonjumble died of yellowcough.

You were out to "GENSOMOORU: Land of Everything.", you wanted to buy some frozen pizza, you were too lazy too cook that night, after all, it was winter. you walked past the front door and as soon as you walk into the store, your eyes meet a tall and chubby man, he had a depressed look on his face. you weren't sure why he caught your attention, he was a avarage human being.

you walk past him, you then noticed two familiar figures, they were Skid and Pump!

"Hey, Boys! what are you doing here?" You ask to them.

"Hello, (Y/N)! we are just buying this toy!" Pump said as he looked to you, holding a Happy Fella doll, it freaked you out but you didn't say anything about it.

You were friends with Lila, Jaune and Pump's Father. so, you pretty much you knew Skid and Pump.

"Do you boys have enough to buy it?" You ask to them.

"We have enough for it!" Skid said as he showed the money.

"What are you doing here?" Pump asked to you.

"Just grabbing some frozen pizza for dinner, i didn't felt like cooking today." You say as you put your hands in your pockets.

"That's cool!" Skid smiles.

"I have to go now, i'm really hungry right now." You felt like wanting to ask why they were using costumes but you knew how these boys always used them whenever they got a chance.

You waved to them as they left, they went to talk to that same depressed guy from early. You shrugged it off, you just walked to the frozen food section. you grabbed your favorite type of pizza and you were good to go. As you come back there weren't any other free lines, only one with that same depressed guy, you walk towards him.

"Hello, how can i help you?" The man asked in a mundane tone as he looked to you.

"Just this." You say as you put the frozen pizza in the checkout counter. the man slowly looked down at your pizza, then back at you.

"Too lazy to cook?" he asked, him calling you lazy didn't hurt you, it more so made you feel bit warmer.

"Actually, Yes, today is so cold and I have no energy for anything right now." You say as you grab the money to pay for the pizza.

"Honestly I can relate." he said.

"Really?" You ask.

"Yes, I lost my motivation in things, now I barely remember the last time I cooked for myself." The man said, you couldn't help but feel kinda shaken by this.

"I'm sorry to hear that, Pal. do you do anything to try lift your spirits?" You ask as you give him the money.

"Not much, I just drink with some friends." He said, taking the money and calculating the payment.

"It's good that you have someone to be there when you need, I hope you get to feel better soon." You said to him, smilling, it was honest, he noticed it.

"I don't think that's happening soon but thank you.* He checked the price and seemed like you overpaid.

"You paid a bit too much." He said in his usual mundane tone.

"How much?" You ask, taking your hands out of your pocket.

"Five dollars." The man said.

"You can keep it to yourself, Rick." You say as you grab your pizza.

"How do you-" He remembers that his uniform has his nametag on it. "Oh." he said. You giggled at him.

"Was good knowing you, bye!" You wave at him. he thought about some seconds before walking towards you as you left the market.

"Hey." he said, nudging your arm. You look confused at him. he grabs a piece of paper and he gives it to you.

"If you want to talk again, call me, if you don't, it's okay... I understand." He said as he gave you his phone number. "I will, you seem like a cool guy, Rick." You smile at him.

"Thanks, i didn't get your name." Rick said.

"I'm (Y/N) (L/N)." You said, still smilling.

"I'm Rick Hedony." He said, you giggled in response.

"I know but thank you, i'm gonna text you when i get home!" You said to him.

"Thank you, Bye." He said, going back at the market.

You were happy you just became friends with a random, it would take some time to know him better but he seemed like a nice person. you wanted to know him better. you made your way down the street, back to your house... you plan on seeing him tomorrow.

2022

2022 is over, what a weird and interesting year it has been for the BL world! 🤡

A lot of series, that I didn't expect anything special from turned out to be unexpectedly great for me. However, many series that I expected to be miracles turned out to be just avarage or even meh 🤷‍♀️

I haven't finished a lot of series. And to me that was the most surprising thing. Even those that I watched with some kind of interest, I just eventually... dropped or fastforwarded. Basically - after a week's break, I just didn't watch the next episode. This had rarely happened to me before 🤔 so I guess it’s a sign of something, idk (too many series? too many mediocre series that can’t keep my attention?). Anyway, I tumblr-watched many dramas, as in, I checked the gifs, read the reviews and that was enough...

So here’s my little summary:

Eternal Yesterday (which, although subjectively ended badly, objectively kept the high quality until the end)

The above series started well, AND ended well. They just either maintained high quality from start to finish, or even their quality increased with each new episodes.

✨Shows that started well but either flopped, or clearly had no idea how to finish, or ended flat or did something really stupid in the finale that ruined the whole show for me:

Ghost Host, Ghost House - until the first half of the episode 7, it’s a 10/10 show, after that, this series doesn't exist for me, so angry with that one

The Miracle of Teddy Bear - I hate the finale SO MUCH, the rest of the episodes are 10/10, again, so angry with this one

Enchante had a chance to be a great show, what a waste..

Old Fashion Cupcake ended a bit anti-climactic, although otherwise the series is GREAT!

KinnPorsche - sort of? I mean, I LOVE Kinn and Porsche, but since the last few episodes kind of lost their focus on them, it stopped being that interesting..

✨2022 had another amazing thing, which was couples that had spectacular chemistry, or some great scenes together (quite often on shows that were otherwise weak plot-wise or simply boring for me, that I wouldn't normally watch, if not for that one couple). These definitely include:

Kevin and Pluem (GHGH) - who went beyond any scale in terms of naturalness in the relationship (which the show ignored in the end with a stupid, forced breakup)

Kinn and Porsche - forever the most beloved soft husbands, the best relationship on and off screen, Mile and Apo my beloved 💖💖💖💖

Jang Jae Young and Chu Sang Woo from Semantic Error, as well as ->

Ughhh I'm so tired of following the hunger games tag when most of the posts are just people shitting on Gale. I don't understand the appeal and honestly it feels like these people are stuck in middle school shipping wars or something.

Also they are totally trying to cope with the fact that the hunger games wasn't lovey dovey enough for them by shitting on Gale and pretending that Katniss was always head over heels for Peeta.

Or maybe, once again, they just read too many fanfics and hunger game copies. Let's see, in Divergent there's one love interest and one guy friend who's in love with the protagonist. Tris, the main character, is head over heels in love with this hunky mysterious dude. Meanwhile her friend who isn't attractive to her is in love with her and when she rejects him he goes crazy and commits crimes against her. So are you guys confusing Hunger games with Divergent? Blasphemous tbh.

I think it's pretty obvious when you read the books that Peeta and Gale are both good guys, otherwise they wouldn't react the exact same way to the same situation only a few pages apart. Gale is not a murderer and did not murder Prim, and if you think that you're just trying to cope with the fact that you think Gale is hotter than Peeta and you need a reason to hate him so you're fine with Katniss not choosing him.

The books are over. Katniss ended up with Peeta, she chose to be with him. There is no shipping war to play out, so why even smear Gale like this? He's just a character who Katniss didn't fall in love with. The only thing he did wrong was kiss her without asking first but I seriously can't remember if this was in the books or not. I remember a lot of kissing between Katniss and Gale where Katniss wants to kiss him for her own selfish reasons: Either because she feels sorry for him and thinks this will help, or because it makes her feel alive. Katniss is actively misleading him, and it's fine because everyone makes mistakes and she's young but like she knows he's in live with her so she should probably not kiss him and let him think that she wants him?

Meanwhile Katniss kisses Peeta like a million times .... not because she wants to. Because she's forced to. In a few of these instances she mentions feeling good about it anyway, but it falls flat for me when she is being forced to kiss someone. It seems to me that any time Katniss deals out kisses, it's a bad thing. Yet the everlark fandom keeps romantizising it and claiming that Katniss kisses peeta because she loves him. To me, kisses is obviously not the way that Katniss shows love, she just does it to try to please others and it's never born of her own desire for someone. If I had this history with kissing, I would be traumatized and never want to kiss anyone ever again, especially the person I have been forced to kiss.

Katniss is a complicated character and the hunger games series are complicated books. They're not your avarage love triangle shipping war material, so why is team Everlark still shitting on Gale? It's ridicolous

Sketch 6-11: I think Ethan watches a lot of movies, being the geek one in the office while Mia barely watches any movies, giving a reason for the two to hang out and afterwards date,,, (edit: it was supposed to be Ethan saying "we should have a movie night", damn my dialogue-forgetting arse)

Before ending it for today, Ethan being a systems engineer and geeky everyman to becoming the megamycete's host and the second-coming of the black god felt like something particularly out of Devilman, the protagonist who once lived a normal everyman or avarage joe life only to become a devilman yet who's heart still retain humanity and love.

I mean, Mia and other characters aside,,, imagine being Ethan's co-worker from the beginning of RE7, your acquaintance or perhaps office buddy called you and informed that he found his presumed-dead-wife's location,,, and of course, you'd be surprised by the news yet skeptic knowing that 3 years had passed and how would your office buddy's wife survived all those years?,,, and,,, after the call, your office buddy was never seen nor' heard again except for the article/newspaper relating to the Bakers' estate,,, and you were the last person to hear your office buddy,,, and as years passed by, you're not aware that your ol' buddy turned out to be a moldy corpse, had a mushroom-messiah-daughter and (in the continuation) became a mold god,,, shit escelated hard,,, and you're just a human continuing your joey days til' your dead,,,

To make it short, the concept of some normal guy being put in a situation where they develop into a dangerous entity who's heart is still pure really fascinates me as both artist and writer (I do have original works involving with that concept but i'll share later),,,

And alas, Mia putting Ethan in varies dangers - resulting him becoming a moldy boi - and feeling overwhelming guilt yet still being loved by Ethan after all the painful events is really something,,, can't find the right words to describe it but yeah (LIES!! TW: C-PTSD, memory loss

I had C-PTSD symptoms for most of my life, from memory loss and dissociation, guilty & shame, to later on flashbacks and nightmares.

I can identify a few horrifying scenes that did contirubute to it, but the weird thing is, that some symptoms were present even before. (Some of the later traumatic events never could have even taken place without them) And I cannot figure out why and what happened.

It's avarage not to remember early childhood memories (around age 4-5), but this part remains unexplained. I had knoweledge, fears, and ideas by that age that I shouldn't have had by myself.

Especially considering later events that triggered me, even though there was seemingly little to no reason for it. (And they themselves couldn't be traumatic)

I often think to myself that the "darkness" was all made up by my imagination as a child, I overreacted, and in the end, it's my fault if I had any fears or took my parent's words and actions to heart.

Any thoughts?

I'm so sorry about what you've been through and are experiencing.

It's possible that you're repressing the earlier childhood trauma that may have contributed to age-inappropriate thoughts, especially if you find yourself triggered and aren't sure what caused it, or what makes it triggering for you.

I also just want to say that it's common for triggers to not be traumatic in and of themselves. Often times, triggers are simply associations our brains make with a time when we felt in danger, and once we recognize even a glimpse of a similar pattern, our survival mode turns on. For example, a trigger of mine is a fragrance. That's not inherently traumatic but it was the fragrance my abuser wore, so my brain immediately thinks that if I smell that fragrance, my abuser is nearby and so I must protect myself.

You are a valid trauma survivor. It's not your fault for being traumatized, even by things your parents may have said or done. We all have different factors genetically, psychologically, and situationally (?) that contribute to the trauma we develop, and that's okay. The point is not to quantify how traumatic the experience may have been, but to instead focus on how you reacted psychologically and what you need now.

So, at work the managing team in my department has an avarage age of 30 (only 2 are over 36, the rest a mix between 24 and 35), we are not serious at all because of this, like, you enter the office and an anime ost could be playing or it could be Metallica, depends on the day, anyway, yesterday as i was arriving we began talking about off days and vacation time, for some reason one of us made the joke of stip dancing to get our supervisor to give us the requested off days, being the nonfiltered person that i am, i said "is strip dancing the only thing i need to do to get those days off? Should have told me sooner" they found it hilarious, my supervisor laughed and blushed before leaving in a haste...

Hello! I just found your blog and I've just fallen in love w/ur art! I've always wanted to have a more paint/textured digital style but I feel like I'm too nervous to experiment with brushes/color. Do you have any tips? Also unsure if this has been asked before but how long does a piece usually take? And do you have and tutorials/artists you recommend!

Thank you so much <3 Sorry for a late answer but I didnt want to rush answering these questions. It got a little bit long and do keep in mind all of these are my opinions and things I figured out on my own so here you go

I'd say my number one tip for painting is to stop blending so much. When I started painting I wanted everything to be blended as much as possible but I find those sharp edges of colors to be way more interesting to look at and help the eye distinguish elements quicker.

If I want a softer transition of colors I will put them next to each other and blend them so I can get the color between them, then paint over the blended portion with that color, try to not make it just a line after line of colors tho

Here you can see the light parts are just a line of darker and darker colors (still I tried to vary the shape a little bit) but the shading on the chest is more varied and I use not only the transitional colors but change the hue a little bit as well so its more interesting to look at. My rule of thumb for the amount of colors I use for transitions is that I think if it's a hard or a soft shadow, if the light is a very contrasting color, you can make bigger jumps between colors and then as you aproach the darkest parts let the hue and lightness change happen slower.

.Also I use a lot and I mean A LOT of blending modes, if it's hard for you to change the hue very suddenly when painting, just paint the thing like it would be in a very soft netural lighting and then throw a bunch of colors and blending modes at it until you like it. I like to go over parts of my paintings with just a random assortments of shapes and colors that look somewhat plesant together and see how it looks with different blending modes, if I like something I will copy the original layer, merge it with the blending layer and do that a couple of times until I like the results. It's hard to explain how to do that properly tho, it's just something I learned how to use effectively by using it contantly.

Also this back and forth of changing things make my painting process a little bit slow, I'd say on avarage it takes me something like 6h to finish one art piece. It very much depends on the flow I have so I try not to get too attached to any piece of painting or colors etc so I dont feel bad when I go back and change things later.

I dont really use tutorials, my brain is very bad at learning by listening or reading, one exception being tb skyen's legends of runterra card reviews videos I know it's weird I dont even like lol and theyre very long but theres a lot of really good art there and him showing how composition works in them really helped me. I also try to collect art I like in my twitter likes and when I start a new piece I will go through them and see what elements inspire me, what painting techniques or color combos are interesting etc. Theres also a bunch of artstation accounts I look at when looking for inpiration, some of them being Aleksander Rostov, Ismail Inceoglu, Julia Zhuravleva and Dominik Mayer

Even though it might’ve been hard to focus at times, I think you can still get a pretty good score with his methods!

It takes a little time for you to assure him everything is alright and you are not angry at him.

When he gets a little more comfortable, you two start taking turns and asking questions to each other about the upcoming lessons subjects.

The weather is pretty nice and you two manage to study for a few hours until the sun starts bidding it’s goodbye

If you were getting ready for an exam, then you can easily pass with a decent score, but if you are aiming for a higher one, then make sure you don't stop studying when you get back to your dorm.

And if both of you are pleased with your scores, why not celebrate it with a juicy apple from his hometown?

When you came to Rook with a shy smile on your face and asked him to study with you, he accepted immediately with a heart bumping like he just ran a marathon.

I mean, how could he not? He was more than willing to put his stalking aside for a few and spend time with you instead.

However, while studying, he just can not seem to keep his sparkling green eyes off of you. Every little thing you do, he watches like a hawk, wanting to carve every single little detail about you in his brain.

He is a great help, though. Doing everything and even more to leave no questions unanswered for you. Yes, he does get a little strict when teaching but that's understandable.

''Non, non! You have to use this formula on this question, Mon lapin. Focus!'' He says as he puts his hand around yours and corrects your mistake, well aware of you avoiding his gaze in shyness. Eh, even when he is being strict he is still a tease.

When you finish, there is absolutely nothing that can stop you from getting a full score and both of you are sure of it.

And a full score you get. You rush to Rook as fast as you can to let him know about this. Maybe you should start studying together more from now on.

He is overjoyed from hearing your cheerful voice as you announce your score to him.

Let's just say that you could not get away only with a few kisses. Oh, how proud he is of his little lapin.

There it was. Their target. Sitting on a chair back towards the crew, seemingly writing something that made him sigh and rub his forehead. Filip swallowed and his throath felt thight, this was really happening now. No backing down anymore.

*you can do it..c'moon don't be stupid chicken shite..*, Filip thought .

Finally the group leader moved forward and it was time for action. They catched that guy without him noticing anything. The guy fell of his chair and stumbled on floor trying to get away from us. The blond haired leader catched the back of his jacket and banged the guys face against the hard wooden table.

Filip had taken his gun from back of his jeans and now held it with both hands. His hands shaking and heart beating. Everyone had gathered around there. Few watching out of windows or keeping eye on the doors. When Filip saw the guys face he was shocked. That guy who they were supposed to kill. He wouldn't be more than a bit over 20 years. Filip swallowed and held his gun lower, biting the inside of his cheek.

"Shoot him", growled the leader who was standing beside the trembling body.

"DO IT!!" The other one yelled with really annoyed tone.

It was like the whole time stopped in that very place. The only thing that the young boy with a gun heard was his own beating heart. He rised his gun, not shaking anymore. He shot twice that young guy to head and he dropped to the floor while his life was escaping his body. Filip lowered his gun and sighed. He couldn't believe what he just did. He watched the growing dark puddle of blood that was leaking on the floor. He felt heavy clap on his shoulder, but he couldn't react.

"Great now let's get the hell out of here..", one of the crew members growled until one of the boys runned to the mainroom.

"Lads..we have company", he said with an scared expression.

"Shit...", the boss growled when there was sounds coming from the front door "They said that the place will be empty...god, let's go !!" He yelled and all started to run to the door. But one stayed almost like glued to the floor.

Filip just stood there. Still eyes glued to the body that was laying at his feet. He couldn't take his eyes away from it, he couldn't watch away from the mess on the floor. The guilt flowed through him.

"Who the fuck are you?!" Came the voice of an confused and pissed man

Filip rised his gaze finally breaking the spell but too late as the other guy who came from the behind of the guy who spoke. That man had gun in his hand and rised it . Filip didn't have time to react as the Next thing he felt was the fastly spreading pain at his thigh as the bullet hit his leg. He stumbled down on to the floor, beside the already cold body of their victim's. He forced himself up from the floor with final glance to the body .

"I'm Sorry", he mouthed and jolted towards the back door where they came in .

He heard angry shouts and yelling from behind him as the guys discovered their dead friend. They started chasing after him down the streets under the dark and rainy evening.

They say that adrenalin makes you do crazy things. It's meant to help you survive in dangerous situation. Maybe that and the shock from the pain was driving the young guy forward through the side streets. He didn't feel the burning pain of the shot wound as he ran as fast as his legs could go. He probably haven't ever run as fast as he did now.

The only thought that was running through his dead was the voice telling him *murderer*. Why was he so weak. What lead him into this situation.

The rain was still heavily assaulting the city of Belfast as I left my work place in hospital. I was casually driving my car and silently singing along with a song that was coming from the radio at low volume. I was totally in my own world as i started jamming along with the song. My whole day had been hectic and total chaos because of this wet rainy day.

I'm still not used to these rainy days, not even after a half of year of living now in this autumn time Ireland. Yes you heard right. I am not from here. I was born and rised in the United States, I had lived my whole life there. Until that one day when i just wanted to get away and have a fresh start. Change of the scenario as you would say. So I ended up here, in this happy place called Belfast. I moved to live with my aunt who happened to live here and she gave me an offer to come to her place and crash there. I took the offer and soon I found myself from here. No one wouldn't believe that nor would I had as a kid. After few months of living on my aunts hair i decided to get my own place. I moved to live with my one long term friend who had moved here few years before me. We were almost like sisters before she moved to be closer to her family. Now we lived in the same house like some teenagers.

I started working in the hospital as a nurse. The job that i had went to school for. I think i always wanted to work in medical side. I loved helping peoples it was some sort of calling for me, but sometimes the hard job and being the superhero of the day can suck all your juices away and left you all weary. Like today. From all the days, today everyone chosed to break what ever bone they can break or fall at home and fracture something. Sick elderly people coming to reception just hoping for a chat with someone. There actually never was anything wrong just normal old peoples stuff. The list goes on and on. I was totally ready to get to my bed, pull the blanket over my head and sleep for the next 24 hours. Straight. Not kidding.

As I drived down the dark and dimly lit street, only the cars light illuminating the road with yellow light. I wasn't prepared that someone would be outside at this time of the night. There wasn't change for me to react faster than i did as some dark object run straight infront of my car getting hit by me. With a loud thud the dark object fell down onto the street from the force of the car.

I did fast brake and i rised my hands over my mouth. Did I just run over someone ?! All kind of scenarios started to run in my head as I opened the car door and i unbuckled my seatbelt. I hopped out of the car into the cold and wet air as i walked to the front of my car. On the ground there was laying dark clothed person who i assumed to be young man. He was hurriedly trying to get up from the street as i shook my head getting back into this moment.

"Hey, stay down !" I suddenly opened my mouth and the person tried to get up even faster but failed with their attempt. Apperently he was clutching at his leg.

I moved fast squating down and carefully placing my hand on the shaking body on the ground "Hey ? Did you get hurt ?" I asked. I immedietly mentally kicked myself. It was stupid question of course you get hurt when you get hit by a car. Stupid me.

The man still kept trying to get away from me what showed me that he couldn't be that much hurt. I studied him with my eyes in the light of my car and i saw blood on the street. The blood had to come from him and what ever it was that was bleeding, was bleeding heavily. And when i saw his bloody hands.

"Hey, don't move you are bleeding..", i said with a rised voice. I tried my best to stay calm and keep the man on the ground "You need to go to hospital..", I said as the man suddenly had his attention to me

"No hospital !!!", he growled at me "They..will find me", he Whispered almost with inaudible voice. He had an thick accent what was hard to understand. Even for me who was constantly around Irish and british accents. This was different.

I looked at him and then around to our surroundings. Who would find him ? What had this poor man put himself into. What ever it was i wouldn't liked to be part of that. No i was just an avarage working woman.

I was again snapped out of my thoughts as the man tried once again to get up but fell flat on his stomach on the wet street. Breathing heavily. It was more like huffing than breathing anyways. I needed to do something...it's my curse as an nurse I swore it in my vow.

Then the light bulp went on my head and i made probably the worst decision what you can make with completely stranger, but it was the only option at this point. I stumbled up from the ground and i sneaked my arms around his torso, getting only a painful grunts and growling from him

"C'moon help me a bit", i hissed at him and i got him up from the ground and to the backseat of my car we went. Slowly but we made it. After a little of fightning back, he was nicely seated there as buckled him up and i closed the door.

This mysterious man was already drifting from consciousness so i have to go fast. As i was walking around my car i saw dark clothed peoples at the end of the dark alley. I gulped and basically runned fastly to drivers side door and i hopped in . Fastly change gear and started driving forward. Those peoples didn't have any kind of nice vibe coming from them.

I looked at the backview mirror, and to the mysterious man who was now sitting at the backseat of my car. What the hell i was thinking about ?! Is he dangerous ?? What if those peoples were chasing him and they follow me back to our house . I couldn't put my finger on those thoughts and my heart kept racing the whole drive back to me and my friends house. As i watched at the rewiev mirror to the man who was hunched at the back seat i had feeling in my heart. I have to help him, I almost just killed him so i have it for him.

Some thoughts about Shadow and Bone- part 3

I haven’t finish the book yet. The last thing I read was Alina and Ivan conversation.

This book is boring.

You know, it is so weird that Alina was like: wow, how can Genya like such akward and AVARAGE LOOKING (emphasis because beauty is really important to the book) like David, but her romantic interests are a egotistical jerk that dismiss her and a guy who wants to enslave her. Your taste in man is trash Alina. At least Genya chooses someone who puts effort in the relationship (according to spoilers about the Nikolai duology). 

You know what would have made this book interisting? If the King was a grisha and him and the Darkling had a plan to conquer the world. Something like Fire Nation style, like lets make the Grisha not be hunted in the rest of the world just like it is here in Ravka.

Or Alina joins his cause, and they are like we need to get the royals out of power. They accomplish that, but there are some problems like the nobles aren’t happy so they want to revolt and take the throne to the Lantlovs(I don’t know how to write the name, sorry) and in the meanwhile the Darkling is ruling and he is gettinga little similar to the King. Just like Farm Animal (or whatever is the name of the book in English), where the animals free themselves just to see them being controled for other animals. So the Darkling goes power-hungry and Alina sees that, stops him and no more monarchy in Ravka and the theme of power corrupts still exists. 

Mal sucks.

This guy sees his “best friend” being healthy and eating properly for the first time and he is mad at her??

Also, what the hell was that Alina you belong with me because look at everything I did for you?!?!

He makes all that feel like such a sacrifice of his part. It does not seem like a friend that would willing do everything for his friend. It is not “ofc I would do that, we are best friends since childhood”, it is “let me tell you everything I sacrificed to be with you now”.

Also that part when he says that the thing that most surprised him was the fact he missed her???? Bruh, they are BEST FRIENDS SINCE CHILDHOOD and he is surprised that he misses her?? How much he valued her? Their friendship? 

The worst part is that it was supposed to be romantic. 

Look Alina, I didn’t think you were important in my life, actually after you have gone I thought it wouldn’t be a big deal and I wouldn’t miss you at all. BUUUUT now I see you. Romance at its peak.

Ivan is right no one cares about the war. The King doesn’t care. The Queen doesn’t care. Alina doesn’t care. Mal doesn’t care. Baghra doesn’t care. The Grisha don’t care. No one cares about the war. It is wild.

When Alina felt guilty because of all Mal did for her and when Mal felt guilty because of that village situation all I felt was annoyance. Just like, stop with the drama. Move on, move on. I really don’t care.

Alina is so dumb.

She is the only Sun Summoner of the country, she knows the Darkling is after her, she knows the army is after her. And she is like: let me use my powers in public space. 

That scene about Mal, kill me if everything goes wrong was awful. I don’t know why exactly I didn’t like it and I don’t want to come back and read it. 

The Darkling acting so evil was so non sense. I mean, this guy problaby made his mom tell every detail about that conversation with Alina so he KNOWS it was just crazy talk. He is supposed to be that manipulator, the logical thing to do was to continue with the akward persona and convince Alina he is actually good. Baghra had no proof and everything she said was really non sense. 

I don’t consider the Darkling a villain, for me he is poorly written character and a wasted potential (just like everything in the book) and nothing else. I just cannot take him that seriously. 

I guess it is that.

Ps. Sorry for written too much that in the phrases. We use it a lot in my mother language and it is difficult for me to know where that is unnecessary in English
