i dont think ill be going in the ocean ever again if this radioactive waste gets poured in the ocean. i dont want higher chances of radioactive waste entering my skin and nostrils
just gonna have to live with that in addition to the unnaturally scorching heat outside i have been living inside indoor places for the past month keeping my ass glued to the ac facilities
also aliens. but like i already talked about that with a friend- aliens is just a word. first of all the spokesperson was dodging every question and its not even known when the truth is being stretched or misinfo is spreaded and answers are never going to be available in your google search at home. hypocritical bc i did some surface google searches about the ocean dump but if sending a letter is my expense in the situation i dont see harm. unless youre in their position the public wont know what the “alien” is. if it’s dangerous or if it’s just a harmless “corpse.” to comfort my friend and myself abt the thought of aliens (we were taught about the rapture and my friend sent me this tiktok of a girl going on about how the aliens are probably demons and the government would plan to frame the rapture as an alien abduction) because that struck a fear in my inner child, i remembered that we're only on one planet, and that there are 7 others within our solar system, how small we are, how were one species out of an entire ecosystem of animal and plant life consisting of billions of creatures or "aliens" with their own specific values and codes. on a planet in one galaxy out of millions or trillions of unknown exponential galaxies beyond "ours" and our lives will be over shortly. very shortly. i think the world is bigger than the information we hear and receive in our hearts on earth. maybe getting to heaven is just a part of our natural primal urge that craves for survival.

Why World Ocean Day?
Tumblr media
Welcome to National Public School Kudlu! As we gather here on this special occasion of World Ocean Day, let us embark on a remarkable journey into the depths of the mighty blue that covers over 70% of our planet. Today, we celebrate the ocean—the life-giving force that sustains us, supports biodiversity, fuels our economy, and offers us countless adventures. Join us as we dive into the depths of knowledge and discover the significance of our magnificent oceans.
The Ocean's Purpose: Why It Matters:
Did you know that the ocean is responsible for producing at least 50% of the oxygen we breathe? That's right! Each breath we take is a gift from our vast and powerful ocean. Beyond oxygen production, the ocean also acts as a sanctuary for the Earth's remarkable biodiversity. It is home to millions of unique species, from the tiniest plankton to the majestic whales that grace our seas.
But the ocean's importance doesn't stop there. It serves as the primary source of protein for over a billion people worldwide. It nourishes our bodies and sustains coastal communities by providing an abundance of fish and seafood. Moreover, the ocean plays a significant role in our global economy. By 2030, an estimated 40 million people will be employed in ocean-based industries, contributing to the growth and prosperity of nations around the world.
Conserving the Ocean: Our Collective Responsibility:
Now that we understand the immense value of our oceans, it becomes our collective responsibility to conserve them. As members of National Public School Kudlu, we have the power to create positive change and protect the oceans for future generations. Here are some ways we can contribute:
Spread Awareness: Educate others about the importance of the ocean. Share your newfound knowledge with family, friends, and classmates. Inspire them to take action and become ocean ambassadors themselves.
Reduce Plastic Pollution: Plastic waste poses a severe threat to marine life and ecosystems. Say no to single-use plastics, recycle diligently, and participate in beach cleanup drives. Let's make a conscious effort to keep our oceans clean and free from harmful debris.
Conserve Water: The ocean and its inhabitants rely on freshwater sources. By conserving water in our daily lives, we can reduce the strain on these vital resources and ensure a healthier environment for both land and sea.
Support Sustainable Seafood: When choosing seafood, opt for sustainably sourced options. This decision helps protect ocean ecosystems and ensures the long-term viability of fish populations.
Conclusion: The Time for Action is Now!
As we celebrate World Oceans Day here at National Public School Kudlu, let us recognize the incredible role the ocean plays in our lives. From providing oxygen to sustaining biodiversity and supporting livelihoods, the ocean's significance cannot be overstated. We have a duty to preserve and protect this vast and remarkable ecosystem.
So, let's join hands, dear students, and take a pledge to conserve the ocean and keep our beaches clean. Together, we can make a difference. As we move forward, let us remember that our actions today shape the future of our oceans tomorrow.
Happy World Ocean Day! Let's dive into a brighter, bluer future!

Every year, humans produce 300 million tonnes of plastic waste, including 11 million tonnes that eventually wind up in the ocean. By 2050, there could be more plastic than fish in our seas. Most of our plastic never really disappears. Instead, it becomes smaller, with particles being swallowed by fish or farm animals and eventually consumed by humans in their food and tap water. We all have a role to play to #SaveOurOcean: refuse plastic cutlery and straws, use refillable water bottles, and bring your own coffee cups and shopping bags. 📸 Plastic bottles come out of a faucet in this sculpture installed in Lisbon, Portugal, during last week's UN Ocean Conference as part of the street art aiming to raise awareness on the need to #BeatPlasticPollution. #globalgoals #sdgs #sdg (at Alexandria, Egypt) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cf346TEsEuY/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Grass root with natural lac dye 🧡   A few years ago I came across some willow root growing underwater in a river in the UK and it got me thinking about the binding properties of root: What if we could grow our clothes from seed?   As an underwater photographer (my real job @zenaholloway ) I was looking for solutions to the problem of plastic pollution in our oceans and I found that I could sustainably grow grass seed in beeswax moulds.

Scientists predict that nearly all the coral will be gone by 2050 due to global warming 😢 so my response is to grow a sustainable coral reef from grass root.  I want to imagine a future that still has coral reefs. They support 25% of all marine life, and are some of the most spectacular places on the planet (especially if you’re an underwater photographer 😉)   I’ll be exhibiting my ‘coral’ with Material Matters from 22-25 September, top floor at the iconic Bargehouse @oxotowerwharf on London’s South Bank.
Be sure to register early for free tickets on @materialmatters.design See you there… #saveouroceans #saveourseas #coralbleaching #coral #artforchange #ecoart #bioart #fibreart #slowart #rethink #biotechnology #naturaldye #naturaldyeing #maker #contemporarycraft #makersmovement (at The Oxo Tower, Southbank) https://www.instagram.com/p/CiVbsXjoRpF/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
