How did I save water yesterday?

Yesterday was a wonderful day, I went to the beach with my family and cousins. We spent all day swimming at the sea and enjoying the food so we save water at home because no one used it for showers or washing the dishes or cooking, so apart from getting fun at the beach, we save water.

English Project: "Preserving the Flow: A Water Conservation Crusade"

It was 2046 when all the news around the world brought up an alert of water scarcity. 

“The rivers are dry, the oceans are just a memory and humanity gets by for survival" ,said my lab partner Mel worried.

“This was going to happen, I knew it long time ago, so what if we developed a machine capable of open a portal at any time?, and we get the best team to take on a crucial mission to the past, to 2020, to save the water?”, I said to Mel and she just agreed.

Therefore, that's how we put together the best people for this mission. The team consisted of Karla, a talented engineer; Malena, a brilliant scientist; Cristhian, an astute strategist; Gabriela, a technology expert; Daniela, a passionate biologist; and Alejandro, a skilled communicator. In addition, giving them a specific task to carry out before entering the portal.

Moreover, drew up a simple goal: to convince the people of 2020 to keep up water safety. But making sure not to alter the past in a big way as any small change could affect our present catastrophically. Cautiously, we infiltrated the society of 2020, looking for ways to look forward to the importance of water.

Thus, Karla uses her knowledge to improve water filtration and purification systems, showing 2020 scientists how to make technologies more efficient. Malena educates students about the water crisis, inspiring future generations. Cristhian and Gabriela hack databases to find irrefutable evidence of the devastating impact that lack of water will have in the future. Daniela creates sustainable gardens, demonstrating how every drop counts, while Alejandro uses his gift of the spoken word to mobilize entire communities.

In this way, working together, we brought about a change in people's mentality. The citizens of 2020 find out to appreciate water differently, understanding it as a finite and valuable resource.

Finally, we returned to 2046. Mel welcomed us.

“They did it! You saved our world, you did an incredible job in unity and determination”, she said, smiling. I nodded, feeling a deep satisfaction for our shared victory.

“In short, our world has changed. Brought about, the rivers are flowing again, the oceans are overflowing with life, and humanity is learning to live in harmony with nature. Thanks to you, getting over the water scarcity.”, I said with shining eyes and in gratitude for their hard work.

Renato, a young man living in the year 2047, was struggling to survive in a world where the water was contaminated by a venom/toxin created by an evil factory. In addition, the toxin turned humans into feral monsters, and Renato had lost his family to it. Due to this, He was determined to find a way to save humanity from extinction.

-Renato: Everything is lost, my water supply will end next week, There's nothing I can do. If only I could find a way to revert things...

When he stumbled upon a time machine called “Timecochet X” that worked with contra particles, he decided to travel back in time to stop the facility from being founded. After that, he met Pokey inside a Café which was in ruins, Pokey was from an alternate future who had come back in time to help him, he was some kind of vigilante in his timeline.

They were the same person, however they were really different in personality, Renato had to change due to the toxin, but Pokey was someone who never gave up and motivated Renato in order to save the world, because he was unable to save his own from this apocalypse.

As soon as they arrived in the year 2025, they discovered that the factory was about to be founded in the city of Guayaquil, Ecuador. They knew that they had to stop it at all costs.

They ingressed the facility and discovered that it was being run by a group of depraved businessmen who were only interested in making money. They were using the venom as a way to control the population and make them dependent on their products, little they knew what this toxin could do.

Despite the security measures and sentinels equipped with the best technology, they fought their way through the factory and managed to destroy it before it could be founded. They returned to their own time and found out that the water had been purified and humanity had been saved from a total eradication.

As a result, Renato realized that he had been given a second chance to make things right. Because of this, he decided to dedicate his life to helping others and making sure that nothing like this ever happened again. At the end, Renato and Pokey enjoyed some coffee at the café where they first met.

Mainly, I save by not using the shower too much, since I usually use it for about 2 hours or more, but more than that I use the water from the washing machine where the dirty clothes are washed to water the plants and to clean the shoes and in that way I save a little bit of water usage.

I started to create a system of water recirculation in my house. Every drop of water that is not directed to use for human consumption, like when you are brushing your teeths, taking a shower or cleaning the dishes. All that water that I didn't use for anything more, I try to redirected for cleaning my car and watering the plants. Therefore, I save water. My system is perfoming in low quantities at the time, not all the water is being "recycled" but I hope in the future is gonna be the whole pie.
