Unfortunately I've put this one on the back burner lately so I don't have much written, but I do have the continuation of this snippet :)

“Who says she’s even into women?” Rex coughs on a laugh and sputters, the sound seemingly ripped from her in shock. Cody just stares at her with narrowed eyes until she gathers herself, meeting Cody’s eyes with a look of genuine confusion. “You’re serious?” Cody huffs. “Yes?” “Um. Are you stupid?” Cody blinks before turning away, fighting the heat rising in her cheeks. “If you’re just going to mock me— ” “I’m not, I swear— but Cody. Seriously? The woman with the butch haircut and the leather jacket, who almost exclusively hangs out with other queer people? You think she’s straight?” Cody purses her lips. Perhaps Rex does have a point. She sighs, and goes back to hammering. What’s really irritating her is that she knows Rex is right about the whole thing. She’s dated here and there, sure, as well as a few hookups from her short stint on Hinge, but nothing lasting. It’s unlike her to be so fixated on a woman she’s never spoken a word to. She doesn’t even know her name, just that she’s unbearably handsome, rides a gorgeous motorbike, and frequents the cafe across from her shop. It’s pathetic, really. And yet she can’t help but sneak another glance through the window beside her. Cody’s timing is both terrible and perfect— the woman currently has her head thrown back in laughter, so joyous that she’s shaking with it, and Cody’s heart thuds loud in her ears. Somehow, she manages to look away. She shakes her head, sets the hammer down, and stalks off towards the back office. “Finish hanging up those prints,” she tells Rex as she walks past her, pointedly ignoring the way Rex laughs and snorts in response. Cody just knows if she keeps trying to hammer those nails herself while that woman is still sitting across the street, being so unfairly attractive by simply existing, she really is going to break her fucking thumb.

An epic timetravel fic as Din travels back into the Clone Wars and his younger self. He's force sensitive and has really strong visions so he becomes Obi-Wan's padawan. He also gets adopted by the 212th and he adopts a squad in return. And the timeline may not seem as linear as first thought.

To this day this is my longest fic and I'm so proud of it. It features my favourite tropes and it has a convoluted plot lol. I love the interactions between Din and the 212th especially Cody and his squad

And I am planning to return to it as soon as I get back into Star Wars

Welcome to Order 63

Welcome to the official blog for Order 63, a new Codywan event! Inspired by great content from other fandom fests, this is an event specifically geared toward Codywan content in which Obi and Cody would describe themselves as Sapphic or WLW. It is (as far as we know) the first of its kind! Here’s some basic info about the event...

What kind of content can I create?

Anything you want! Fic, art, playlists, videos, podfic (though please don’t make podfic without the consent of the original author, if that isn’t you), or anything else you can think of. The sky’s the limit.

What do you mean by Sapphic or WLW?

We mean this in the broadest sense possible. First off, this is an explicitly trans-inclusive event. Trans WLW are valid and incredibly welcome here. Secondly, there are people of all genders who consider themselves part of the Sapphic or WLW experience, though certainly no one should feel obligated to claim that label if it doesn’t speak to them! Essentially, if there’s a story you feel inspired to tell by the theme of this event, then you should tell it. If you want Cody and Obi to be non-binary people, he/him lesbians, genderqueer or genderfluid, intersex, or anything else, that’s all welcome - at the end of the day, if you think your story belongs here, then it does. All we ask is that you be thoughtful and respectful, and do your due diligence, particularly if creating a work about a lived experience that isn’t your own.

What is the format of the event?

This will be a five-day event where each day has a set of 2-3 prompts. Participants create content for any or all of those prompts, and post the content on the day that prompt is assigned to. You can post on tumblr (directly or in the form of a link to another hosting site) or AO3 (there will be a collection to post works to).

What is the timeline?

We will open a survey for prompts on September 1st! Final prompts will be publicized October 1st. The posting week will be December 12th-16th.

What if I don’t like rule 63 content/this isn’t my cup of tea/I have constructive feedback about the way you’ve conceived the event?

If one of the first two: please feel free not to follow, or even to block! We won’t take it personally. This is an event for people who think the concept sounds like fun. If that’s not you, please don’t feel obligated to engage. All of the posts from this account will be tagged “rule 63″ and “order 63″, so you can mute those tags if you’d like.

If you have constructive feedback on the event, we would be thrilled to take it into account! Asks are 100% open.

The Mando'a on Cody's denim jacket says 'fuck cops' and the patch on her shoulder says 'PRO FUCKING CHOICE' :)) The pose is based off of the many, many pictures of Bruce Springsteen and Clarence Clemmons kissing on stage, and I was going for a sort of Springsteen-but-make-it-even-Dykier vibe for Cody's outfit. Obi-Wan's is supposed to be a bit more British punk.

2024 Fanfic goals

A sad-ish Caduceus Clay fic. The ramifications of being Melora's favorite child. Also the occasional trials in protecting a temple worshiping a goddess banned in the kingdom next door.

A sapphic genderbent/rule 63 modern codywan mafia au. Where Cody is the heir apparent to Jango's enterprise and Obi-Wan's a bartender working at one of his clubs with her own problems. (And bodies in the closet. Metaphorically of course). Love, murder, and chaos ensue.

A fic that's kinda tied to the You're not flawed darling verse, or what else jedi padawan's in the facial analysis and dialogue inspection classes get up to. Really just an excuse to imagine all the cool classes Jedi might offer cause I'm a nerd. (Also they bring down a crime syndicate. For fun, extra credit, and as a birthday present.)

I made a 212th chief medical officer for a fic I haven't posted yet & now I'm attached to him & the whole medbay.

A stewjoni are succubus au that came from me rewatching the first few eps of Lost Girl with my mom. Way less about sex & more about logistics, medical problems, and cuddling. Featuring Qui-Gon being an excellent master, codywan, aromantic Quinlan Vos, Obi-Wan using he/they/she pronouns, and plenty of costume changes.

A star wars/magnus archives fusion where the Jedi Code is especially important to follow when you are tied to fear entities. Web!Obi-Wan, Slaughter!Anakin, Hunt!Ahsoka, Corruption!Qui-Gon, & so on.

Unless stated otherwise, Lady Wan is a l w a y s Mullet Wan. To me. From my own fics, she wouldn't have the mullet in the Hobbit/LoTR fusion probably, and I think I drew her with a ponytail in the Star Trek AU, but in my heart, Lady Wan rocks the Big Jedi Mullet 25/8

Speaking of the Star Trek AU, I like to think that they promoted Obi-Wan into the officership in an attempt to distance her from sciency stuff she could inadvisably touch as much as because she's just a good leader. She gives Cody even more migraines than having to try to contain her curls does

Part of why I love writing sapphic Codywan so much is because they just lend themselves to the hypercompetent-useless-lesbian trope so well, and as someone who is completely and helplessly in love with Gorls myself, I can relate haha

It's been too long since I've thought about She Plays Bass!! My thoughts for you today on that is that Cody's 1000% favorite place for Obi-Wan to sit is on her face, and Obi-Wan is rightfully obsessed with Cody's thighs and singlehandedly becomes the reason that Cody can't wear any kind of shorts/skirts on stage. Also, the mental image of them kissing on stage a la Bruce Springsteen and Clarence Clemmons lives rent free in my head.

She Plays Bass thoughts part two--Obi-Wan and Fox are probably fucking obnoxious together on tour. Just constantly bickering and taking the piss out of each other just because they can and they're happy to have a worthy verbal sparring partner. Everyone hates them. They will not shut up.
