When Johnny was a boy, he lived on the coast. The beach was his and his sisters’ playground; the ocean was their playmate. Granted, the water was always freezing, and Johnny’s ma would chastise him constantly, saying he’d catch a cold playing in the water. But no matter how many times he was scolded, he was always drawn back to the sea. It called to him. It felt like home.
After he enlisted, Johnny missed the ocean for a long time. He couldn’t control where he was stationed, where he was deployed. So it was always by lucky chance if he got even a glimpse of any body of water, let alone the sea. He struggled to sleep without the sound of waves crashing, over and over like the breath of a giant. When he did manage to fall asleep, Johnny dreamt of the ocean. He longed for it. Ached for it.
And then he met a man whose voice sounded like waves hitting the rocky shore and whose eyes were the exact shade of blue that haunted Johnny’s dreams. He couldn’t help but stare, which provoked a sharp response from the Lieutenant. Johnny, of course, looked away then, but he kept stealing glances, entranced by the fragments of ocean caught in the man’s eyes.
And as Johnny began to know the Lieutenant better, he began to realize more and more how like the ocean Ghost was. He could be calm and still, or tumultuous and raging. He was powerful and deadly and contained dark depths most people dared not venture into. But Johnny dared. He plunged in, not minding the cold. And he found that this man…Simon…was like the sea in other ways as well. He was playful and beautiful and so vast.
There would be high tides, where Simon would submerge Johnny with his love. Where Johnny was floating in a serene sea of caresses and soft whispers. He could sleep at night again when he shared a bed with Simon; the ebb and flow of Simon’s breath was familiar and soothing.
And there would be low tides, where Simon would pull away. Too scared of himself. Of his feelings. Of getting too attached. But no matter how far he’d recede, Simon would always come rushing back. And Johnny would dig his feet into the sand and let Simon love him however he could. Johnny was strong. He was patient. He had waited for the ocean. He had found his way back home. He found it in a man with sandy blond hair and deep blue eyes.
Johnny no longer felt that longing, that ache. He no longer had to search for the sea. He held the whole ocean in his arms.

Ghost: The i in my name can stand for "I don't give a fuck"
Soap: The j in my name can stand for "just kiss me already!"
Ghost, unfazed: I decline the offer.
Few minutes later...
Ghost, standing outside of Soap's door:

More piss kink bullying ghoap x reader pls 🙏
always up for that teehee
they're sparring with you in an almost empty gym when you tell them you gotta piss really quick - of course you shouldn't have told them. before you can even think of walking out ghost has you pinned to him, soap rubbing his hands along your thighs.
you think they're joking, squirming in ghosts grip and telling them how you really need to go, they just grin. it slowly dooms on you that they dont intend to let you go, making you struggle harder.
just when you're almost out ghost puts you in a full Nelson, giving johnny the perfect opportunity to violently rub your clit through your sweatpants while making out with ghost, whose hard on is pressing against your ass.
you moan and cry, holding back so desperately until Johnny slaps your pussy hard, making you let go and piss yourself, both men just grin with satisfaction while their bones strain against their pants <\3

Cw: idk angst, man.
Modern Warfare AU (reboot) where everything is the same but Soap is shot with a higher caliber of weapon. 141 having to pick up pieces of Soap's head so they can take him home. The image of Soap's brains and broken skull burning into the mind of his boyfriend (any ship). His partner not even having the slightest bit of hope when they see that gun go off. Just having to fight while stepping in soap's gore.... That's it. I just want to traumatize them more.

i’ve been daydreaming about this idea and istg i can never word it well so heres a ramble but thinking about soap and reader who sleep together not out of desire for each other but because they’re both so madly in love—to the point of ragged obsession—with ghost.
how you seek out each other every night, pawing hands mapping scarred bodies, trying to imagine a bulkier frame, a deeper voice; a face never seen before. you leave marks on each other’s skin, pleas dripping from your maws—“more,” he begs; “please,” you whisper and you both know the two of you are thinking about ghost.
how you fall beside each other, staring at the barrack’s ceiling, quiet, before the anecdotes drip.
soap tells you about him today. the jabs, the teasing, the way big hands clasped his wrists to help him find a better position in the firing range. he tells you about the incident in the locker room, how the two of them stepped into each other’s space, unconsciously gravitating toward each other, unaware of how close they’ve become until soap felt the drag of ghost’s denim on his thigh. he was the one who sprang away, guilt heavy on his tongue.
i thought of you, johnny said. i couldn’t do that to you.
you whimper, tucking your face on the crook of his neck, feeling his arm curl around you and pull you close.
voice wavering, you tell him about ghost’s silence. his coldness. how he met your eyes today before deliberately walking past you like you weren’t worth much, not his time nor his presence. you tell him about the way ghost was always there in your peripheral, somehow—a stalking shadow, a beast prowling, but always dismissive, always detached. you tell soap of the misery.
you never really did know why ghost hated you.
(oh but you do.
you tell yourself you don’t know as if ghost’s ire didn’t start that day when he caught you and soap slipping out of the closet. remember what he did then? he tugged soap out of your reach and flicked his eyes down on you with a warning before marching out with johnny’s wrist still clasped in his hand.
remember what the darkness was that danced in ghost’s eyes?
jealousy.
possessiveness.
ghost didn’t care about you. he never had.)

Crystalline (3)
mwIII zombies au ghoap, hurt/comfort find part 2 here ---------------------------
"Alright, Lieutenant Riley, let's see..." the nurse started, looking over the clipboard in her hand. The anticipation as a short silence settled in the room was eating away at Simon, and especially John. Poor Scot was worried more than he let on around the nurse. "From what our researchers have gathered from a sample we took off of you, these crystals seem to be a result of the infection, yet... it's not turning you into a... zombie." She paused and thought her next words out carefully, "Not that you're exactly immune, of course, you just seem to have an odd reaction to it that we haven't seen in anyone yet." Simon nodded along, understanding what she meant, but that didn't give him an idea of the future. How this was going to affect him further than it already has and if it'll, well, kill him. John seemed to get to the talking before Simon could even get his mouth open, "So what does this mean fer him? Can he still even work? Is this going to kill him? It better fuckin' no, I swear on every last one of yer goddamn scientists they better figure this shite out. I'm no letting him die on my watch." The nurse seemed to take this as calmly and professionally as she could. She let out a short breath, replying slowly, "Sergeant MacTavish, trust me they're doing everything they can to understand why he's reacted this way, but it's not easy. We barely even understand the virus itself." She sighed, glancing at her clipboard, but continued, "In the meantime, we'll have to keep him here for testing. I'm sure you understand." Even Simon himself seemed opposed to the idea of being kept in the infirmary, prodded and tested on. That much was clear from his face. He immediately protested, and so did John. They argued there was some way they could do their testing and allow Simon to stay in John's company and do his work. The nurse tried to reason, but ended up with just a compromise, knowing she won't get through to the two men. "Alright! We'll take samples and while the researchers do their tests, Riley can keep doing his work. I know you don't exactly trust us, MacTavish, so when we get results you can be here with the Lieutenant as we read them out to him." She pinched the bridge of her nose with an exasperated sigh. Gathering herself, she set the clipboard down and leaned against the table, crossing her arms and finally coming to the conclusion of this visit, "Lieutenant Riley will have to stay on bed rest as his injuries recover, the gas did some damage to his lung that need time to heal. I'll be going, but you're allowed to stay with him, Sergeant." With that she took her leave and left the two in silence. ---------------------------
I don't really like this but i needed to get something out, and sorry for being gone for so long, I was having really bad mental health issues and needed to take care of myself for a while, but here's part 3. As always, tips and suggestions are welcome. <3

Fools in the Rain
Ghost is spending the fourth night of his leave alone in his apartment, whittling mindlessly while an old sitcom plays in the background. A storm rages outside, so loud that when Ghost hears the knock at his door, he almost mistakes it for thunder. His head raises slowly as the realization dawns upon him that the sound was in fact a knock….and that he wasn’t expecting company. He’s never expecting company. He’s never even had company. Wouldn’t know what to do with company. Doesn’t enjoy company.
So something must be wrong.
He rises slowly…silently….his hand reaching for one of the many guns he keeps tucked around his apartment. Another knock, louder than the first, confirms his suspicions and spurs him to quicker movements. He dashes to the door, taking a breath before peering through the peephole.
Soap is standing on the other side, shifting his weight back and forth under the small awning as his heart races. Despite his body being drenched by the rain, he can still feel sweat creeping down his back and pooling in his palms. Sweat just has that distinctive feel.
Ghost unlocks the deadbolt and opens the door as far as the chain lock will allow. He eyes Soap as he demands over the cacophonous rain, “What’re you doing here, Soap?”
Soap’s eyes shoot up as Ghost cracks open the door. The rain, unfortunately, had not reached the confines of Soap’s mouth, leaving his tongue dry and his voice cracked. He swallows nothing and admits, “….I haven’t been able to sleep in days. Ever since we started leave…I’ve been….plagued….haunted with thoughts….they’re there when I’m awake, there when I try to sleep….”
A stone settles in the depths of Ghost’s stomach. He stares at the soaked man for what feels like an eternity, swimming in Soap’s bloodshot eyes as he searches for answers he has no idea how to find. Thankfully, Soap continues:
“I consider myself a strong man, Ghost. I’ve suffered things no person should experience. I’ve been beaten and shot, held hostage and interrogated and tortured. But this….this is a torture I cannot endure…..”
The desperation in Soap’s voice, the utter weakness in his shaking frame…it chills Ghost to his core.
“I can’t stop thinking about you. What you’re doing. Where you are. How you’re feeling. I-I keep worrying. I feel like every nerve is on fire when I’m not near you, I—”
His words die in his mouth as Ghost abruptly closes the door. Soap can’t help the tears that instantly well in his eyes. Tears that proceed to fall upon his rain-soaked cheeks as the door remains closed. In his stunned state, Soap can’t even raise a hand to wipe them away as they tickle his face, mocking him for thinking that this was ever a good idea.
Meanwhile, Ghost is on the other side of the door, his mind even more tumultuous than the storm outside. He places his gun down on whatever surface is closest. He paces as hopeful thoughts bubble up to the surface of his consciousness; he shakes his head with the rise of each one, hoping to quell them.
It doesn’t work.
Soap is frozen, tears no longer trickling. No, now they’re a steady stream. His mouth opens and closes like a fish drowning in open air. He hopes maybe he’ll be rewarded for his foolishness with a strike of lightning—something to end the pain coursing through him, leaving him breathless and yearning for death.
Ghost tears off his balaclava and tosses it aside. As he paces, he runs his hands through his hair, feeling the tremble of his fingers against his scalp. And then, before he even realizes what he’s doing, he unlocks the chain lock and yanks open the door.
The sight of the state he’s left Soap in is worse than any bullet, Ghost thinks. The two men stare at each other, stunned by the sight of the other. Ghost knows he has to move, to speak, to do something. Soap has left himself bare, disemboweled himself and placed his guts at Ghost’s doorstep. So he has to do something.
Ghost takes a step forward through the doorway. Soap takes a step back, mistaking Ghost’s intense gaze and advancement as a sign of aggression. Ghost takes another step forward, and Soap responds with another step back, leaving the shelter of the awning and walking backwards into the rain. As Ghost takes yet another step forward, he reaches out and cups Soap’s face, freezing him in place once more.
Ghost draws into Soap, bringing his other hand up to mirror the first. He brushes his thumbs over Soap’s cheeks, determined to wipe away the tears before the rain does. To somehow fix what he’s done.
Words have always been special to Ghost. He doesn’t speak much not because he doesn’t like to, but because he wants what he says to convey exactly what he means. Ghost handles his speech like a knife, knowing that with his words he carves in ways that can either create or destroy. He plans what he says carefully, steeping his thoughts like tea before pouring them from his mouth:
“I am a fool…for ever letting you feel the way you feel now…forgive me, please…”
Soap blinks the concoction of rain and tears from his eyes. He slowly raises his hands and grasps Ghost’s wrists, holding them like they’re a buoy. But for once in his life, he stays silent, much to Ghost’s distress.
“Please, Johnny…please say something….”
The sound of Ghost’s voice, as warbled and watery as the puddle drenching their feet, stirs Johnny to speak. The corners of his teary eyes crinkle as he smiles through his words, “You are a fool…but you’re my fool…isn’t that right, Simon?”
Simon chokes back a sudden sob and nods, pulling a laugh of relief from Johnny. He leans his forehead against Simon’s, tightening his grip on the man’s wrists.
Simon wrangles together his nerves and forces himself to be brave. “Can this fool kiss you?” he asks, the surprising sweetness in his voice melting Johnny like candy floss in water. He nods and Simon softly presses his lips against Johnny’s, tasting tears and rain.
