Vampire!Sabo x gn!Reader

Words: 2000 CW: SFW / Modern World AU / Books / Talks / Fangs / No Snacks Please

You were in the library to exchange books. As you looked over the massive choices you had, your appearance caught the interest of a blond gentleman.

The little bell above the door chimed as you entered the library with three books in your arms. As you placed them on the counter to give them back, the librarian came running to you.

“Finally, I didn’t think you would make it today. Welcome!” she said as she started scanning your books with a smile on her face.

“Hey Koala! My lecturer asked me to help him with some stuff and since that took a solid 60 minutes, I was caught in the Rush Hour afterwards. I really hate the traffic in this city!” you sighed as you hang your coat by the door.

“I’m glad you made it. Some new books arrived this week and I already reserved two of them for you. I’m sure you’ll like them.”

You thanked her and made your way towards your favorite section. You’ve already read 90% of the books they have, but you always check if one of the other 10% is available. Most of the time, you were lucky.

As you walked slowly through the aisles, your fingers glided slowly over the backs of the books. The library was your retreat after a stressful week at the campus. You loved the smell of old paper and parchment, of ink and antique leather. Aisles full of books from floor to ceiling, so that you need these movable mounted ladders to grab books from the top shelves. Moreover, you especially liked this library, since Koala pours her heart and soul into it. She has a good eye for decorations, arranged some cozy reading nooks all over the place and added a well-equipped workspace in the middle. And if you crave for a certain book which is not added to the library’s collection yet, just ask her. She will go out of her way to get you the missing piece. There is no better library in the whole world, which is more alluring to you, than this one.

A rather old looking book picked your interest and you took it from the shelf. As you read over the worn-out leather cover, you see that it’s from 1887. Impressive. You read the blurb and the story seemed really appealing so you decided to give it a try and stored it in your arms as you searched the massive collection for more germs. Half an hour later you had a total of five books with you, as you went over to your favorite reading nook. On the upper level was a round window seat right next to a beautiful monstera. The view was breathtaking and it never failed to calm your mind. You can overview the colorful garden and the mighty fountain in the middle of the small lake. The golden glow of the setting sun was working magic on the already autumn-colored leaves and you couldn’t take your eyes of this bewitching sight.

You managed to break to spell of the view, when Koala handed you the two books she saved you and you finally started reading. You were really sucked into another world that you didn’t notice the man across from you. He was at a table across the room and flipped randomly through the pages of the few books on his table. It was clear to see that he was just acting busy, since all he really does was to sneak glances of you. You tried to ignore him and just keep reading, but it was no use. His gaze was shamelessly fixed on you and sent small shivers down your spine everytime you looked back at him over your book. Annoyed, you closed the book and go on the counterattack. It must be possible for him to stop staring at you somehow. You decide to withstand his gaze until he finally looks away. Big mistake. He seamed pleased that you noticed him and smiled. You were disarmed. His smile hit you unprepared and your cheeks grew hot and red and this most beautiful smile on his pretty face radiated at you. You hid yourself behind your book to escape the embarrassing situation but your plan failed as soon as you heard footsteps approaching you.

“Good choice.” The blonde said as he came to a halt just an armlength away and you slowly lifted your head to look at him. He had blonde, wavy hair which covered half of his face, no facial hair and a pair of eyes which were a deep shade of blue. He was really handsome and obviously waiting for a response. You cleared your throat and answered him in you best confident demeanour.

“We'll see. I just started with it, but someone kept distracting me.”

“I never meant to interrupt you, I'm sorry. Let me tell you something. If you really want to know, if the book is to your liking, then I recommend taking a glimpse on page 10. There the action starts.”

You gave him a scrutinizing look but did as he told you. Just three sentences were enough for you to like the book. You sighed and admitted defeat.

“Okay, yeah you we’re right. I like that book. Did you read the book too?”

“Yes, but it gets even better. I met the author in person, he was hilarious.”

As you were about to ask him, what he meant, Koala called from the ground level. “Sabo!”

“If you would excuse me, please. I‘ll take my leave for now.”

He bowed and your eyes followed his figure. He surely was muscular and the tailored fit of his jacket suited him. The way he walked was like royalty, the grace and confidence that evaporated off him with every step left you speechless. You just realized you were gawking at him with your mouth hung open when he was out of sight. A slight blush crept onto your face and you closed your eyes to collect yourself. This man was something special. Like a good book he caught you with his cover and left you wanting more with the blurb. He said he knew the author in person… Even though he was not joking, you just didn’t know how. You decided to ask him about that later. And if he had already left by then, you were sure to see him another time or ask Koala for his information, since she seemed to know him. You sighed as you grabbed another book from your stack and continued your reading session.

Night fell and as you were done with the books you decided to take the one Sabo recommended and one of Koala’s suggestions with you and save the other ones for later. You were back down between the endless aisles putting the other books away, when Sabo approached you again. He appeared right behind you as you were struggling with putting a book back on the higher shelf, his fingers pushing it effortlessly into the right position. You were surprised and nearly crashed into his chest as you turned around. He eyed you with a smirk, trapping you between the shelf and his self. As your eyes met his you were captivated. Those round eyes, accentuated by a scar which you didn’t notice before, enchanting you with these big blue orbs. Your lips parted involuntarily and Sabo lifted your chin with his gloved hand. You were frozen with anticipation what will happen next. His lips parted... Wait? Are these fangs? A shiver went down your spine, but you weren’t afraid. You wondered what other mysteries you might unfold about this man and how good these fangs would feel on your skin. His lips were just an inch away, when…

BONK!

“Sabo! I told you just how many times?! No snacks in the library!” Koala scolded the now whining man, holding his head.

You shook your head as your cheeks got beet red. Never in your whole life were you that carried away. You lowered your head deeply embarrassed about what just happened. If a hole would swallow you right now, that would be too good to be true. But you weren’t that lucky.

“Ah, I’m sorry Koala!” Sabo said, but Koala glared at him with an evil expression.

“(Y/N) is my friend! Don’t you dare use them for your filthy blood lust.”

“But take a look at those eyes! They are gorgeous!” Sabo said in his defense and a massive blush crept onto his face as they both realized that you were still right beside them. “I’m sorry. It’s really out of character for me to neither introduce myself properly, not take you onto a date first. Please forgive me my rudeness.”

You were blinking fast, your blush darked as Sabo bowed his head and Koala giggled.

“(Y/N)? Are you alright? It was never my intention to scare you or cross boundaries.” Sabo investigated you with concern as he lightly touched your arm.

All kind of thought kept spiraling in your head. Did he say date? And had Koala just mentioned blood lust? Is it April the 1st and you just seemed to miss it all day? You were highly confused until Sabo’s gloved hand touched your arm and though the thick leather of the glove and the thin fabric of your longsleeve separated your skin from his, you could feel warmth seep into you and the hurricane of thoughts came to a stop. You shook off your trance. “No! I mean yes! I…” you took a deep breath and sorted your thoughts before you spoke. “It’s alright. I’m fine.”

“I’m relieved you are.” Sabo gently took your one hand, which wasn’t holding on tight onto your books, in his. “As I said, I never introduced myself properly. My name is Sabo and I’m a 376 year old vampire. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” He said and pressed a tender kiss to the back of your palm.

You were touched by the kiss, but one word really hit you hard. “Vampire?!”

“Yes, I…” Sabo looked down shyly. Was he afraid?

“Wow! So those fangs are not just a kind of costume?” you were amazed but still you had doubts. Just mere minutes ago all this was just a fantasy to you, but Sabo told you so and Koala seems to know about him. So, he must be telling the truth.

“I’m afraid they are real. Do they…” Sabo admitted and a hint of worry crossed his face until he heard your answer.

“So cool!” you interrupted him and your eyes twinkled in amazement. Sabo blushed and looked at the floor sheepishly.

“So, I was about to close for today…” Koala tossed in from the back and headed towards the upper floor to tidy up and close the doors and windows.

“Yeah, well. (Y/N), would you like to go on a date with me?” Sabo asked insecure.

“Yeah, I would love to.” You said and smiled. Sabo’s whole face lit up at your words and he looked a little bit like a puppy who just got treated.

“I know a nice restaurant just two streets away or we can pick another time and place, if your day was exhausting enough.” He offered like the true gentleman he was.

“First you give me your blurb and now you offer me a cliff hanger! No, thank you. I’d like to take your offer for today.” You said as you shouldered your bag and walked to the counter to check out your books yourself.

Sabo chuckled and hooked your arm with his as you were ready.

“Have fun you two!” Koala waved from the stairs. “And no biting until the second date Sabo!”

“Will do, thanks Koala.” Sabo said and opened the door for you.

“Have a good night, Koala!” you said and as you looked over to her, she made a gesture, that you should call her. You winked and left the bookstore with a smile.

Who would have thought that you would leave the library today with not just two books, but a walking, priceless antiquity today.

one piece x inuyasha au bc I'm insane and wrote this during my break today

luffy is a human kid* sent to the great demon era (I'm great at naming <3) where demons rule the lands after he falls through a cursed well in the forest where he and sabo and Ace grew up. he seeks to collect all the pieces of the shikon jewel and put them back together into....one piece. (loud booing) listen,

in this era, the wielder of the shikon jewel becomes the most powerful demon that rules over all the others. luffy does not care that he's human. he wants that damn jewel

zoro is still a swordsman. not much changes. people think he's a demon, but he's actually just a really strong human who can use techniques like asura. he was a demon hunter for spare change after he got lost leaving his home village. not much changes there, either

nami is a petty thief and navigator who used to work for the demon arlong. she starts to awaken some priestess powers with usopp's help and the staff he gives her, though she doesn't really follow any other priestess rules. she learns other magic, too, still messing with the weather and wielding a variety of attacks without a care for whether they're sacred or demonic

usopp's following in the footsteps of his father- a priest turned adventurer killing wayward demons along the way. his weapon of choice in this au is a bow and arrow which sometimes he and Nami will work together to bless the arrows!

sanji is a travelling cook who's secretly the son of a daiyoukai. due to his mother's intervention, he's a hanyou, but he passes as human and his crew doesnt know he is one.

chopper is a little reindeer demon who's learning medicine and priesthood under the care of lady kureha, joining luffy's crew after they defeat the demon wapol

robin is a demon from ohara who works under the demon warlord Crocodile for a little while, fulfilling a role similar to kaguya. she deserts him after luffy and crew save vivi and the alabasta region from his reign, but she's still wanted by the world at large for being a "dangerous type of demon" with knowledge of the old world and the creation of the shikon jewel passed down in her clan.

franky is a human/zombie/demon hybrid who survived an explosion after his mentor, a demon named tom, was attacked. he put himself back together with human and demon parts alike, similarly to how sesshomaru and naraku would absorb spare body parts in the og show. he's a blacksmith!

Brook is a revived man much like kikyo was brought back by demonic methods. he has to consume souls to keep living, but he only steals the souls of their enemies. he's also pretty bad at it. he's still a musician, though his instruments are a bit more traditional

jinbei is a whale shark yokai, so a fish yokai from the same clan as Arlong...but not evil lmao. he used to be a warlord too, but decided he didn't like the whole feudal part. he's the crew's cultural guide and diplomat of sorts, attempting to keep peace between demon territories and human villages they visit alike from freaking out when a rag tag group of thieves, demons, priests, and fighters show up on their doorstep. he and robin discuss history and archeology often, and in theory robin has a lot of the same knowledge jinbei does, but jinbei has better....people skills.

the setting would be the inuyasha universe, feudal / yokai infested Japan. however, the world government is an issue in luffy's time (1500's fictional goa kingdom) that secretly has ties to accessing the demon world. I haven't thought out the logistics fully, yet. but you can bet your ass luffy's mentor shanks, who is often gone on long "journeys," was actually traveling back and forth from the feudal era and the goa kingdom this whole time.

* I haven't gotten ro gear 5 yet myself but I imagine luffy is secretly the reincarnation of the demon "joy boy", which will. aid the whole shikon jewel thing. and is also why he is able to traverse the cursed well.

though, humans like shanks seek out the jewel too, for the power it can hold in controlling demons or perhaps (myth?) giving them the power of one.

his dark materials fusion thoughts

so, I'm gunna give everybody a quick rundown of how daemons work, without getting into Dust and all that shit: physical manifestation of your soul but carried+protected outside the body by a shapeshifting creature that has a personality that reflects or mirrors or compliments yours, the shapeshifting usually "settles" around/during puberty into one shape, the creature usually presents as the binary opposite to your gender (which has interesting implications for trans and NB people) and only very very very rarely can be the same gender as the human, any pain inflicted on you or on your daemon is felt by both of you (and physical touch to your daemon is both painful unless under apparently very specific circumstances and considered majorly taboo unless between parent and very young child or between the most emotionally intimate/emotionally close people) (it also just feels generally wrong/disgusting for people to touch other people's daemons unless under those circumstances) (daemons touching other daemons seems to be fine, on par with a human touching another human, but still rare and usually done in greeting or more often between close friends). Humans require close physical proximity to their daemons at all times (usually between physically touching and maybe 3 meters or 10 feet). Being too far away from your daemon causes extreme distress and pain for both parties until reunited. Daemons and humans can be "separated"-a state in which a human and daemon can have any amount of physical distance between them whenever they like for however long they like. The circumstances of separation seem to be: a ritual in which a daemon cannot cross a barrier but the human can which leads to the bond 'stretching', or extreme trauma of some kind (mental, emotional, physical, a combination, etc). Separation is also seen as unnatural/strange/taboo and a sign of magic or some sinister characteristic of the human involved.

I like to think that One Piece's devil fruit interact very weirdly with people's Daemons and the consumption of a devil fruit causes separation. For the purposes of my personal AU-every devil fruit user is separated from their daemon. This, I think, should be because the daemon DOES NOT share the ability of whatever devil fruit their human consumed-to protect their human's soul, the daemon stretches the bond so that the fruit does not touch the soul and potentially corrupt it in some way. This is part of the price of eating the devil fruit-you can't swim, you can't touch seastone, and your daemon now removes themself from you (in however minor a way, separation doesn't seem to really mean a whole lot in terms of how the relationship between human and daemon continues to work).

and now onto my personal Whitebeard Pirates daemon headcanons

Marco has a secretary bird named Halatraea (Hala for short), classy lady with a very stern, no nonsense, very precise and obsessive-for-details personality. Her voice is Marco's inner critic and logic, hers is the part of him that makes him plan out every possible bad what-if scenario so he can be prepared to do anything and everything at the drop of a hat. They've both stomped people and deamons to death. She likes to stay out on deck regardless of the time of day (hard to stretch her wings indoors, 2m wide) and roosts near the helm. People get paranoid that she's always watching the crew work (she is) and that she's tattling about every minor infraction to Marco (she is). Hala has been known to tolerate touch from Pops and, once their relationship develops, Ace (and possibly Sabo too if the MAS route).

Whitebeard has a massive grizzly bear, Tulip, with a grayed muzzle from age. She shares most of her personality traits with Edward, a jovial and thoughtful old woman who loves to hug and cuddle with other daemons. She tends to act like an unseparated daemon, sticking close to Edward as much as possible. When she isn't sitting pensively with Pops or pacing around the space where he is at the time, she's usually napping closeby. She's very tolerant of touch and welcomes the Commanders as well as former commanders/close friends of Whitebeard to pat her head (Big Mom in the distant past, Roger a few times, Whitey, Shanks got to pat her head exactly once as a kid)

Ace has Kotetsu, who is unsettled thanks to all the shit that happened to him as a kid (sabo, luffy, blue jam, all the shit with roger), but generally prefers the shape of a lynx. Kotetsu is less talkative than Ace and very watchful but is just as brash and reckless, showcased very prominently when they go into fights. He hates being touched, even by other daemons, and badly tolerates it from Tulip and very rarely Hala (and Luffy+Sabo's daemons, but their touch is the exception and not the rule). Unlike every other devil fruit user listed, Ace and Kotetsu were separated before Ace ate the mera mera no mi (due to the previously mentioned shit that also resulted in Kotetsu being unsettled even into adulthood).

Thatch has a Capuchin monkey delicately named Hina. She's very excitable and joyful, always chattering, and is Thatch's assistant in the kitchen. She doesn't actually care much about cooking, but she's very eager to help with anything Thatch is doing and has packed away the same knowledge as her human even if she doesn't employ it like he does. She prefers not to be touched, but will tolerate it from Pops and Izou.

Izou's daemon is a bamboo viper named Fuwa (fluff/fluffy). They both knew from a young age that the name would be ironic. Fuwa is fairly sedate and relaxed in personality and generally lives wrapped around Izou's neck, arms, or dozing curled up in the belt pouch of Izou's kimonos. They're not very chatty, but they do actively listen to their surroundings and will comment here and there. Fuwa does not like to be touched and tolerates, badly, it from Thatch and Pops.

Whitey Bay's daemon is a fox named Snixam. He is a reclusive, introverted, anxious little bastard who really prefers not to be seen. He and Whitey are separated despite Whitey not having a devil fruit specifically because Snixam is so shy and anxious. He rarely leaves Whitey's quarters (the only time he actively chooses to leave is during combat, all other circumstances are forced/coerced). He hates being touched, by anyone, and will badly tolerate affection from Tulip only.

Mala (OC, first officer of the first division, marco's right hand within the first division) has Zafus, a stoat. Excitable, distractable, and loves to leave little feety prints on the paperwork. Zafus also enjoys bugging/annoying larger daemons of those around them and playing with Mala's glasses chain.

Darla (OC, first officer of the 3rd division, Jozu's right hand) has Bishop, a large orangutan. Much like his human, he's a calm and steady presence who is not afraid to beat the fuck out of people. While he and Darla are not separated, they do have a bit of a looser leash than most people do and prefers to hang around and swing in the rigging above Darla. Any time they're on shore leave or Darla is running from place to place, he will ride around on her back like a giant backpack. During a fight he's right beside her and he's fucking up anyone who gets close by. Very tolerant of touch (specifically so he can kick ass with Darla) but generally prefers to be left alone.

This soul eater au gives me life, can we get some fun facts about the other characters?

Coby snuck out of the student evacuation with Helmeppo at the marineford attack, it was a whole thing he saw Luffy sneak away and into the frey and the little Luffy in his head was like 'You Should Defend Your Home and Your Friends!' and then he was. So traumatized.

Shanks is a Kishin hunter, he runs his own crew and does some business with the DWMA so he can sell the souls

Shanks is a meister, he lost his arm protecting an overzealous little Luffy from a tainted soul, his crew still makes fun of him for it

Garp has no idea about Sabo's parents, Sabo just showed up one day and Garp asked if he had anyone waiting for him and Sabo said no.

Garp stayed home whenever he could, but he had to ship out for months at a time. During which, Dadan - an old buddy of his who needed a job after getting out of prison - would take care of them

Usopp has a pet toad named Pesto that Sanji found behind his dad's resturaunt and gave him

Luffy finds little hats for Pesto

💗 One Piece men and how they would realize they have a big fat crush on you (PART 4 - Wano edition)

author's note: aaand we're back with part 4! really excited for it because wano is really giving us so many new cool dilfs characters to swoon over! all fluff as usual, except King which is a little suggestive (are we even surprised). part 5 is already in the drafts too, hehe. enjoy!

King

King would wake up in his ruffled linen sheets, shirt off, his long white hair with the messy braid falling into his gorgeous face that was kissed by the first rays of sunshine through the open window

he would stretch, greeting the new day and look to his left... where you were sleeping peacefully

again.

he reminisced last night, where the two of you met for the third time late at night, no strings attached, just a pair of souls eating each other up with hungry kisses, moaned names in open mouths, nails digging into flesh and some whimpering, hissing, groaning, trembling…

you name it. just the usual.

except that he couldn't shake this feeling off his broad chest that this might be... a little more than that

that he was really, really excited to see you, to feel you, kiss you, devour you. setting your heart on fire, with love maybe.

Yamato

the old playground down at the river, the one that was covered in moss and had trees as old as time. that was your favorite spot ever since both of you were kids

Yamato and you would meet there often at night, sitting on the swings and just talk about life and its absurdities, knowing the other one was the only constant when everything else crumbles

sometimes you were just sitting there, drawing circles with your feet on the ground; sometimes swinging to see who could reach higher to the sky; and on some days Yamato would push you on the swing, loving how your laughter filled the lonely night

tonight was no exception and with every push Yamato‘s hands would feel almost electrified whenever he touched your back, propelling you closer to the half moon

which is when he would realise that he’d rather pull you close instead of giving you a push

he would abruptly stop the swings, making you almost fall over. but he would catch you, blurting out his raw feelings the same moment and looking you deep in the eyes…

Denjiro

okay, so you napped together peacefully at that one banquet while everyone around you was having a blast. no big deal.

except… now his naps didn’t feel the same as before. something… someone was missing. his shoulder and that spot on his chest were now cold and it kept him from falling asleep.

Denjiro could usually nap anywhere, anytime. that was taken away from him - just like his heart (but he was still in denial about that)

poor man would show up sleep-deprived with a pillow at your door, demanding to be let in (like a cat that was forgotten in the rain, looking at you with taunting eyes)

he would command you to lay down besides him, pulling you close to his chest, no space for you to wiggle out of his arms which is why you just surrender…

and sink into a world of warmth and safety, where he would never ever let go of you again

you're the one he looks forward to meet, awake and in his dreams (though nothing was sweeter than reality ever since you fell asleep on him the first time)

Who’s-Who

just like a stray cat, Who’s-Who found himself drawn to you whenever you were near

maybe you were reading outside, maybe you found shelter under a roof when you got surprised by the rain, maybe you were shopping late at night, humming to the tune of the music playing softly in the background... Who’s-Who would accidentally run into you, keeping you company

he loved his loner life, but would realise that it was also nice to have someone around who would give him the attention he didn’t know he craved

when you compliment his fluffy, pink hair or his long legs he would find himself almost blushing, thankful for the mask covering half of his face

one night, when he walked you home after meeting you again at the supermarket (where he took most of the bags from your hands without asking), he would feel the overwhelming urge to just…

“can i kiss you?”

you would need to make a second run to the supermarket because the watermelon you just bought shattered on the ground when you both dropped the shopping bags to the ground; him pressing you against the next wall and kissing you hungrily, your hands resting on his tattooed chest, both your hearts sighing because this stray cat just found its forever home

Monkey D. Luffy

Luffy loves you like an adventure. Everything is new and always fun to try with him, and no matter what happens, you don’t ever regret it, because you’re doing it with him.

He’s persistent in staying with you everywhere, he wants to do everything with you. He tends to invite you ( by pulling your hand ) to do crazy things with him and away from the others so you’re alone.

He’s always showing off his skills and stupidity in order to make you laugh, because your smile is the best thing he’s ever seen and giggles are the beautiful sound he treasures.

His actions are genuine when he holds your hand and pulls you to his side all the time, with the warmest, loving grin.

Zoro loves you like you’re his one and only. No one has priority over you, ( except maybe Luffy ), and you will always be his, if you’ll let him.

Zoro is not a man of many words when it comes to his own emotions and feelings, so he shows it through his actions.

He always has an eye on you, so wherever you are is where he ‘sleeps’ so he can keep you close, his swords at his side to protect you from danger, ( but he knows you can handle yourself. )

Zoro is the perfect person to lend a comforting shoulder and ear. He will listen to every single one of your problems intently and if he can, will offer the best advice you’ll hear, even if it’s a bit harshly. However, whatever got you so down, Zoro will bring you back up.

Zoro is always reminding you that you are strong, no matter how tough things get.

“Oi, come take a nap with me. I could use a body pillow.”

Portgas D. Ace

Ace loves you like a gentleman, respecting boundaries, bowing to the elderly you pass by together and always ready to pick you up for your date at seven, bouquet of flowers in hand.

If Ace is good at anything, it’s knowing how to distract you with a good time. He knows the best way to bring a beautiful smile to your lips and can easily make sure to avoid the thoughts that brought you down in the first place.

He’ll share stories that will make you die of laughter or feel so wholesome that you literally melt at how sweet it is.

The few times he expresses and shares his insecurities to you, something he hides within him because he trusts you enough to do so. He loves your understanding and comfort for him.

Ace always reminds you that you’ll be okay, even at the worst times.

Chief of Staff Sabo

Sabo loves you like a prince. He holds the door for you, takes your hand so you don’t fall, has the most charismatic smile on his face and is just so charming.

Sabo will remember the littlest things, the smallest details that you yourself don’t even know until he reminds you, and because of this, you are often gifted the most memorable and cherishing gifts, like the scarf you two bought for your perfect snowman, to the necklace you were staring a little too longingly at on display.

He’s always busy, but he doesn’t hesitate to drop whatever he has just for you. He will run through fire if it means you’ll stop crying or if you’ll be happy to see him. You are his lifeline, his soul, his love.

He may not know how to properly cheer you up like his brothers can, but he knows that he wants the best for you. If you need space, you got it. You need some tender loving cuddles and buckets of ice cream while watching Disney movies? Vanilla or chocolate ice cream?

Sabo reminds you that you deserve happiness and peace.

Trafalgar D. Water Law

Law loves you like you’re his savior, someone who’s always there during his time of need and insecurities, by his side when he needs you most.

He’s a little blunt and straightforward occasionally, but he’s honest somewhat. He won’t ever tell you his feelings until he deems it the right time, but you can tell he has feelings by the change in treatment.

He’ll keep you closer to him, making excuses by saying that he needs you to help him with the supply run, or that he needs your assistance with a particular menial task.

He’s awkward and shy about it at first but he cares and that’s all you need to know. Especially once you catch him during one of his weaker times, the anniversary of a particular someone rolling around, where he’s locked in his room. He needs you beside him, so please don’t leave him when he needs you.

Law reminds you that you are human, that it’s okay to be vulnerable.

“Just stay here with me.”

Vinsmoke Sanji

Sanji loves you like a god/goddess. He will treat you with the utmost respect and care and offers you everything you could possibly want or need, just say the word.

His genuine, endless daily compliments are given to you with pure love and passion, his daily refreshments and snacks to keep you energized and hydrated keeps an eye out for your health.

He makes sure you know the true meaning of flattery, chivalry and love, because that is all he can show you.

However, under that chivalrous exterior, is his calmer, understanding loving self, where he shows his true self and when he finally shares this side with you, where he holds his insecurities, it’s the true honor and love you can receive. And it’s even better, when you become the one who loves for him in return during this time.

Sanji reminds you that you deserve to be and are loved.

“You are my world, my everything.”

Marco The Phoenix

Marco loves you like a married couple who grew old together, still playing jokes and having fun to life’s fullest, no matter your age.

He’s constantly lecturing you for the smallest things repeatedly, since you always seem to forget. His lectures lack any annoyance or malice though, he’s just kind of done with you sometimes.

Nonetheless, he’s taking care of you more than you think, always the first one there whenever you need help. He’s always prepared for whatever you need so you don’t have to look for it and get worried.

He’s stern at times but he loves you more than you could ever know, often questioning himself whenever he’s beside you. He half-lidded eyes watching you with warmth and admiration because you always look so determined.

Marco always reminds you that you are free. To live life to its fullest and however you wish.

“Let me fly you to the moon.”

Donquixote Rosinante

Rosinante loves you like a husband, he treats you like his wife, either you or him welcoming each other home after being gone for so long and greeting each other with a loving kiss each time.

He knows just how tough things can be and as much as he tries to make things right, he knows how bad situations really are and no matter how much he wants to cry or get angry, he always holds a smile, in front of you. To assure you that things will be okay.

He gives the warmest hugs, and knows that, so whenever you’re angry or sad, or just randomly at times, Rosi envelops you into a large hug, waddling you back and forth a few times, you feel instant relief and content, which makes him smile.

His priority will always be you, even if he’s hundreds of thousands miles away, he will find his way back home to you. He surprises you with the littlest gifts; being flowers, jewelry, candles, or more.

Rosi will always remind you to smile, even during the hardest times.

Eustass Kid

Kid loves you like a game, it’s unexpected, unpredictable of what will happen and it’s exciting and thrilling. For you both, one wrong move, and the other is gone for good, but perhaps, second chances/rematches are available.

He can be brash and a bit much, but Kid has high respect for anyone who actually makes it onto his crew and can actually tolerate him, you included.

He’s loud and wild but that only makes it part of the fun. With such a short fuse, as long as you play your cards right and pick your moments to bite back, it’s kind of fun knowing how dangerous it can be with a guy like Kid, and he also loves it equally, because your feistiness is attractive.

Being a bad bitch that doesn’t play by the rules is so incredibly attractive and Kid knows how to reward and punish so tread carefully. ;) however, he has his down moments and as annoying he can be, he does appreciate the effort you give if you try to comfort him. He’ll be harsh about it but eventually, he just wants you to be with him in the end.

Kid reminds you to rebel, take risks and enjoy the thrill of getting in dangerous situation every once in a while, breaking a few rules doesn’t hurt anybody. Most of the time.

Dracule Mihawk

Mihawk loves you like you’re an empress, only the finest and highest quality for you, nothing else can compare.

Mihawk will buy you the most expensive dress that suits you, with an equally expensive matching jewelry to go with. Not to mention the heels, and, tch, how could he forget the roses you require? Despicable.

As much as he loves to show you off, he despises the stares of awe and admiration you receive whenever you go out, so his possessiveness takes over and he has an arm around your waist at all times, successfully showing you’re taken and to back off if they don’t wish to be cut into oblivion.

He trains you to handle yourself, obviously, you should know at least some basic skills. He’s not too hard on you but does push you to keep going until you truly wish to stop. It’s only because he’s worried that one day, he won’t be there and won’t be able to protect you.

Mihawk reminds you that you are a queen/king, a strong person who shall hold your ground and never back down from fear and show your bravery.

Red Haired Shanks

Shanks loves you like you’re his future. It’s an unknown journey, but he’s there for the ride and whatever may happen, he’s there staying and won’t be going anywhere, unless it’s with you.

The red head is a goofball, he drinks, parties and messes around but he is an incredible captain and genuine to a fault. So when he expresses kindness, it is purely from his heart and not out of manners.

He is extremely playful and yet when down to business, he is calm, collected, and cool. He knows just what to say in tough situations and great comforting advice, so he’s the one to go to when you’re feeling down. And as laid back as he is, disrespect to those he loves is the one shit he won’t take.

He’ll hold you close and with his signature grin, compliment you and tell you how much he appreciates you and as soon as someone lays a finger on you, his hand is on the hilt of the sword and he waits three seconds for an explanation before he cuts them down. No one messes with his beloved.

Shanks reminds you of loyalty. To always protect and care for those close to you, and keep that built up trust and bond you created with them.

Charlotte Katakuri

Katakuri loves you like you’re glass, he’s careful, protective, cautious and treats you like you’re fragile, because he’s afraid of hurting you.

He’s larger than most, he’s aware of that, so he always takes the precautions to be aware of his surroundings, especially when you are around. He wants you safe and he will be devastated if he is the cause of your pain.

His large stature is a blessing to you though, because cuddling is so comfortable and comforting, it’s amazing. You can curl up and relax and just be at ease with him, because he’s so protective of you, even from his family members. He often keeps you away from Cracker and Perospero, in the slightest chance that they try to take you away from him.

He’ll be extremely heartbroken if Big Mom doesn’t approve of you, but his love for you is stronger, so he’ll keep it a secret if he has to but eventually, he’ll pray and wish for her blessing, asking the help of his siblings to convince her.

Katakuri reminds you of family, that even friends or crewmates are family and love you all the same.

Captain Koby

Koby loves you like a typical high school crush. He’s all shy and blushy, and evidently embarrassed when the pretty one at school is talking to him, ( that’s you. ).

He’s like the wallflower type, who tries to blend in but somehow, he sticks out in a way that lures you to him, like he’s hit the jackpot.

He is incredibly sweet, and his shyness is so adorable. You can’t help but coo whenever you see his red cheeks and soft smile of care he offers.

Always helps you with everything, will take the blame whenever you get in trouble, takes the suffering and pain when guys try to mess with you, and no matter how tough things get, he’s holding a brave face for you.

Koby reminds you of kindness, treat everyone with care and kindness, and it goes a long way.

16th Division Commander Izo

Izo loves you like you’re a painting, he thinks you are true beauty, inside and out, you are a work of art, a true Mother Nature masterpiece born. One to be admired.

The type to be there. He’ll hold your hair while you vomit, rubbing soothing circles on your back while you cry, painting your nails while you complain about Ace, assure your perfection when you’re feeling insecure.

Best advice giver, holds no judgements at all. He’ll help with anything, because you need him. Romantic advice, friendship, sexual advice ;), he will help you any way he can.

He truly admires you, not because of your beauty, but your strength to be able to cry. Crying doesn’t mean weakness but rather, strength to be able to move forward even in the worst of times.

Izo reminds you that you are beautiful, no matter what anyone thinks or says.

Cavendish Of The White Horse

Cavendish loves you like you’re a princess, and he is your handsome Prince Charming.

Every thing he does it like from a fairytale, if it involved a rather.. bit of a narcissistic Prince Charming. But he means well, because he still treats you like a real princess.

He gives you daily horseback rides, teaching you with his strong arms wrapped around yours and his black fancy hat on top of your head, as you two ride around and share laughs and memories.

And even through his big ego, he still makes sure to compliment you, tell you how proud he is of you and how much he truly admires you for your strong will and determination, because he really does love you. More than you know.

smoker fights for justice, not absolute per say, but the justice that he knows, he fights for whats right in a world so wrong- and then when he found his s/o he found another thing to fight for. he hoped that he could make the world better for you. unfortunately every justice has a price, and smoker is forced to be away from you for months at a time. when he lays in the cold bed in the haunting darkness, his stomach growling in pain as the insomnia catches up to him dragging his soul down and burning the wounds -fresh and bandaged or old and scarred- the only thing he can think of is whether you're sleeping or not, if you're warm, do you need a blanket? are you safe? do you miss him? but it's all worth it, when he eventually falls asleep at the first light of daybreak, to the knowing thought that he's doing all of this to make the world a bit safer, for you, so you won't have to worry when he's gone.

thought up another AU the other day, here it is copy+pasted from twitter so it’s pretty disjointed haha

o yeah kinda had another AU idea bubbling in my head where luffy is like... weird god/guardian deity of some kind who escapes his domain (dawn island) to go on an adventure since he had been stagnating in the mountains. his strength grows the more people know/believe in him

garp's family watched over his shrine, and as a spirit he played with ace and sabo in the mountains. nobody outside dawn island knows that he is supernatural in origin, and assume his promises to fulfill dreams is just as a human and not as a god lol

When Shanks first visits Dawn Island, Makino recommends that he go visit the shrine (it's a lovely place and it's just polite to pay respects to the island's local deity), and it's there he meets Luffy, a strange little boy with eyes that seem to see just a little Too Much.

Shanks, at first, assumes Luffy is a village boy playing in the mountains and treats him as such even after Luffy demands him to tell him stories of his travels because he was bored. It's not until he goes back to the bar and tells Makino about Luffy that he finds out the truth

Shanks is the one who plants the idea in Luffy's head that if he was bored, he should try leaving the island, something that had never seemed possible to him before. He's a forest god, he doesn't belong on the sea, but the first time in a long time, he desires an impossibility

The gum gum fruit and straw hat are 2 offerings/gifts from Shanks to Luffy. Shanks doesn't fully understand the significance of such things to Luffy, only giving Luffy the hat as a promise to one day meet him on the ocean.

The fruit he at least knows is a proper gift for a god that he can, amazingly, call a friend. His crew calls him mad for giving it away to some backwater shrine, but Shanks can feel it in his bones that this is the best use for the fruit he could ever hope to find.

to Luffy, these were powerful offerings, one a rare fruit and the other a hat steeped in great history. These were the kind of things that let gods grow and could give him the strength he'd need to break free of the island's confines.

i think luffy would leave with ace when he turns 17... maybe some timeline tweaking where they can still gather all the strawhat crew along with ace's haha

Luffy's blessing grants protection in forests. Those blessed will never lose their way in woods, and will always be able be able to find shelter, water, and food with ease. Forest creatures won't attack unless fully provoked either.

Luffy meets Ace and Sabo much earlier in their lives. Ace, who was raised in the mountains, has always been aware of Luffy's presence but doesn't meet him proper until he's around 5 and thrown into the mountains alone by Garp for training.

Luffy's appearance is that of a 10 year old boy, so in this AU he could be considered Ace's older brother, but his spirit is perpetually childish and he doesn't age (simply changes his appearance as needed) so Ace kinda becomes the older brother in spirit lol

Tho Ace was aware of something not exactly human living in the mountains, and had heard Garp telling him about the shrine his family took care of, and expected Ace to help with (which he refused), he does not connect that being with Luffy for quite a while.

Like Shanks had, Ace assumes Luffy is a village boy too encroaching on his mountain home. Ace also asks Luffy The Question - what does he think of Gold Roger having a kid. To which Luffy replied, Who's Roger? Ace isn't sure how to respond to that. Did this kid live under a rock?

Ace tries to explain he's the Pirate King and considered the Devil by most people, but Luffy just frowns and says HE'S never heard of a devil named Gold Roger before, so he must not be much of a devil. Ace is confused and dumbfounded by Luffy's replies

what the hell does Luffy know about devils? Luffy responds far too casually that he's met and talked to a decent amount of them throughout his life. Ace ends up exploding and yelling if he knew so much about devils, then how could he not tell Ace was the son of one.

Luffy grows very quiet at this question and walks close to Ace, and stares him down with a look that freezes Ace's soul. The moment seems to stretch for an eternity and he has never felt smaller in his entire life.

The moment passes when Luffy breaks eye contact and hums as he says that nope, Ace was definitely human like everyone else around. Not a speck of a devil in him. Luffy has no proof, but the way he says it tells Ace that it is the truth, and the comfort it brings is indescribable.

Luffy grows weaker the longer he is out at sea or forced to stay somewhere without trees. Though it had not been Nami's intent to help him with her mikan trees, the grove becomes a source power for him and the only thing balancing out the ocean sapping away his strength

Luffy manages to escape the island with Ace's help by having Ace carve a small portable shrine for him. It becomes a new tether for him and so long as Ace can keep it safe, Luffy can stay by his side. Luffy becomes much weaker away from his central shrine however.

Luffy adopts the name Monkey D. Luffy because it is Garp and Dragon's name. Luffy does not have the Will of D, but he doesn't exactly need it as a divine being.

ASL Reaction to S/O’s Gen Z Personality: Fluff/Comedy Headcanons. Ace, Sabo, Luffy react to their significant other who has a type of a Gen Z personality. They basically have dark humor to cope with life.

Comfort on the Bad Days: Comfort Headcanons. Noticing their partner is having one of their bad days, these are how the males ( Ace, Law, Marco, Shanks) would try and cheer them

Female Straw Hat Reader Crushing Headcanons: Fluff headcanons. A female Straw Hat Reader who has a big crush on (Marco, Law, and Zoro) and confesses to them!

First Times: Nsft/Spicy Headcanons. Ace, Kid, and Zoro have sex with their virgin!significant other. How they react to their s/o bleeding.

Getting Jealous: Fluff/Jealous headcanons. How these males (Crocodile, Kuzan, Mihawk) get jealous of men getting close to their female partner.

Monster Trio: Crush Hugs Them: Fluff Headcanons with a hint of spice. The Monster Trio receive a hug from their crush but she pushes their face into her chest. (Hence the spice)

Monster Trio Helping Reader from a Nightmare: Comfort headcanons. Reader wakes up from a nightmare in the middle of the night, but the monster trio comforts them in their own way!

Monster Trio Reacting to Holding Their Crush’s Hand: Fluff headcanons. The Monster Trio (Luffy, Sanji, and Zoro) and how they would react to holding their crush’s hand when their crush is scared!

Reacting to their overprotective partner: Hancock, Robin, and Vivi react to their Male Significant Other being overprotective of them

Reacting to their pregnant significant other: Crocodile, Doflamingo, Shanks react to their female significant other being pregnant.

Rejection: Angst. Kid and Law reject a female crewmate’s confession.

Scenarios:

Confessions: Fluff Scenarios. Female Reader confesses her feelings to her crush. (Benn, Crocodile, Smoker)

Confessions: Fluff scenarios. Shanks and Whitebeard confess to female reader but not in the way they want.

Falling in Love for the First Time: These characters (Crocodile, Doflamingo, Mihawk) have a moment of realization when they realize they are in love for the first time with Reader.

Jealous: The characters (Kid, Luffy, Law) get jealous when someone else gives their girlfriend too much attention

Love at First Sight: Fluff scenarios on how these three males (Crocodile, Doflamingo, and Marco) would react to falling in love at first sight with Reader.

Reacting to their crush/future significant other who has scars: Slight Angst and Fluff scenarios with bonus headcanons. Katakuri and Law react to their crush/future significant other who has a John Marston scar (A Red Dead Redemption character) and other scars on their body.

Receiving a Hug from Their Crush: Fluffy scenarios | Slightly suggestive. Killer, Kuzan, and Lucci receive an unexpected hug from the person they have a crush on. How are they going to react?

Characters:

Boa Hancock:

General/Poly Headcanons: Just some headcanons on Boa Hancock.

Jealous Hancock: Jealous/Fluff scenario. Boa Hancock is in love with Luffy who is in love with the Reader. Through jealousy, she realizes something about the couple.

Brook:

Soulful Thinking: Slightly angsty scenario. Brook is feeling sad remembering the past and Reader comforts him.

Charlotte Katakuri:

Katakuri’s Reaction to His Female S/O Gaining a Little Weight: Reaction Headcanons. Female Reader has a “slender/curvy body” but has been gaining weight due to eating and messing up her workout schedule. How would Katakuri notice or react to it i?

Crocodile:

Denial: Angst One Shot with bonus headcanons. Crocodile’s wife (Reader) gets kidnapped.Nothing good comes out of it for the two as he begins to lose the only person who makes him sane.

Trafalgar Law:

Chapter 2

(photos and descriptions of characters at the end)

After a long 15-hour-long flight, you are surprised by the scene on the drop out gate, your grandfathers are there, and also some of the 'Straw hat' group, your father attracts really weird people, all his friends are just crazy.

"TORAO! IT'S BEEN SO LONG!!" Luffy, a black haired young man that it's using a straw hat, jumps up and down, being held back by his friends.

"LUFFY! WAIT UNTIL THEY ARE HERE, WE ARE GOING TO GET KICKED OUT IF YOU DON'T STOP!!" Usopp a man with long curly black hair and a very long nose, and Sanji a man with a weird curled brow and short blond hair, tries to hold him back.

"Oh, okay" when Luffy stops fighting against them, the 3 off them fall backwards, causing the troublemaker to laugh.

"Knock it off Luffy!" Nami, a beautiful woman, with long bright orange hair and very big breasts, punched his face which gave him a black eye instantly.

You chuckled at the scene, as you, your father and the gang finally gets to them, the first thing you do is jump super high, so you are able to hug grandpa Roci, who is REALLY tall. "GRANDPA! I MISSED YOU!"

He smiles and hugs you back "I missed you too Dondon-chan, you are so bigger than the last time..."

"Of course I'm bigger! The last time you saw me I was 8 years old!!"

"I'M SORRY! I WANTED TO VISIT YOU AGAIN BUT I COULDN'T!" and... he starts to cry... a lot, while hugging you tighter.

"DAD! HELP! Grandpa is crushing me again!"

"Room" you are now hugging you father, you look at him surprised and then looks back at your grandfather, only to see him and Luffy hugging each other and crying.

. . .

"DID SHE JUST CALLED YOU DAD!?" shouted the straw hat crew.

"Yes you dumbasses! She's my daughter, introduce yourself" he parts the hug and pushes you lightly in their direction.

You blush heavily at the attention you were getting, you bow and smile to them "Nice to meet you all, I'm Trafalgar Donquixote Y/n, but my friends call me Dondon, it's a pleasure to finally meet you all"

"DONQUIXOTE!? SO YOU ARE DAUGHTER OF THAT MONSTER!?" Usopp screams panicking.

"You know my mom?" You tilt your head.

"Don't call her mother a monster!!" Usopp also gets a black eye from Nami.

"We fought against her some years back, I can't believe that you married her Torao" Zoro, a man with green hair and a scar across his left eye said.

"I was obligated, if I didn't marry her he would vanish with my crew..." Law said while pointing at your second grandfather, your least favorite one.

"How cruel! You hugged only Corazón, but didn't hug me!? Come here and" he licked is lips "Give your grandpa Doffy a hug" he opened his arms in your direction.

Your father put you behind him and grandpa Roci got in front of your father, the Straw hat group looked ready to fight.

"Why are you all worried?" Doffy frowned "We are family, I would never do anything to her"

You take a deep breath of courage and goes around your father and grandpa Roci, you extend your arms to Doffy, and he gives you a big smile. "How sweet of you! I wished that the others would be like you" he picks you up and hugs you.

(For those who don't know, Doffy and Roci are 3 m 5 cm and 2 m 93 cm height)

"Let her go Mingo!" Luffy shouts and gets closer to Doffy "Put her down!"

"Or what?" Doffy chuckles.

"Or I'm gonna punch your face" Luffy glares at him.

With a snob smile Doffy puts you down, next to your father. "Let's not start a fight here, there are too many eyes, I wouldn't like to get in the hero's bad side" he pets your head and takes a box from inside his enormous pink feathery coat "Here sweetie, happy late birthday" you take the present and bow to him.

"Thank you" you give him a wobbly smile and keeps the box to your chest.

"I have to go, I'm a busy man after all" he looks at each one of the people there "See you another day" with his signature smile he waves and goes his merry way.

Your father sigh relived "Let's go home"

Grandpa Roci takes out a cigarette and put in his mouth, but only lights it when he's outside the airport.

You watch your parents giving his goodbyes to his friends, when one of the Straw Hat comes to your side. "Hi, I'm Robin, you will be having your classed with me" her long black hair is just as stunning as her breasts.

You have a difficult time focusing on her eyes, but nods and give her a small smile "I will be in your hands"

"May I ask why is your nickname Dondon?" She fixes her purse on her shoulder.

"Oh! It's because of my last name! When I was 4 years old I couldn't say any of my last names, so the other kids called me Dondon, and it just stayed like that" you shrug.

She smiles and pats your back "You can change it if you don't like it, no one's going to notice, new place new life"

You shake your head "I like being called Dondon, it's cute" you give her a big smile.

She chuckles and nods "You will train with Nami first, then you will be put with the trio ASL"

"Trio ASL?" You tilt your head.

"Ace, Sabo and Luffy" Robin says as she points at Luffy "They are the best to teach you how to fight, they do it since they were around 5 years old"

"Dad told me that Luffy's grandfather would throw him in the middle of the forest and tell him to survive"

Robin laughs "Yes, he did that, it was the reason why Luffy was put on an orphanage, where he meet Sabo and Ace."

"WHAT!? I thought that they were blood brothers! The stories my dad told me, says that they are inseparable!" You look at her shocked by that discovery.

She chuckles and nods "They are brothers, they were adopted together by Whitebeard after all"

"Oh! Changing the subject!!! How is the marriage life? I saw your wedding's photos!! They were so beautiful!!!" You see your father approaching

Robin looks at what you were looking and smiles "We will continue this chat later, you and your father need some rest" she waves at Law and goes back to her friends.

Your father nods at her and looks at your grandfather who is catching fire "Roci-ya you are burning" Law gets closer to grandpa and pats his shoulder that was on fire. "Still have two left feet I see"

Roci smiles at him and pats the other's shoulder "Let's go home, you two must be tired" he took you, and your father to his car.

You get inside the big and spacious car, feeling small.

"It will take a while to get there, I live in the center of the city, my house isn't as big as your pent house was, and you two will have to share a bathroom, but I hope you two feel at home" he extends a hand to the back seat where you are and pets you thigh "get some rest, your father and I have some grown up stuff to talk about"

You nod and put on your headphone, turning your music up and lay down on the back seat, closing your eyes.

Roci snaps his fingers and activates his quirk "Silence"

Law visibly relaxes pm his seat. "She took everything..."

As Roci drives he looks at Law from time to time "Not everything, you still have your daughter, and both your licensees, it will be hard from now on, but you are not alone, never were"

Law thinks about it for a while and nods "I know... thank you Dad"

Roci smiles, "your welcome son" and as he keeps driving, now both his son and his granddaughter end up sleeping, he deactivates his quirk and put some light jazz on the car.

My Sworn Brothers [Luffy x Crossover!Sister!Reader x Ace x Sabo]

A/N: Hey, so I want to write a High School AU of the many, many anime I have watched/ read. Bleach, Blue Exorcist, Devil is a Part-Timer, Durarara, Fairy Tail, Fullmetal Alchemist, High School of the Dead, InuYasha, Kill La Kill, Magi, My Hero Academia, Noragami, One Piece, Ouran High School Host Club, Pokemon, Saiki K, Sailor Moon, Seven Deadly Sins, Soul Eater, Sword Art Online, Vampire Knight, Your Lie in April, and Yu Gi-Oh. And I was wondering who would you like to be apart of your friend? And would you like to have a relation to any of the characters of the world.

Summary: [Y/N] is the oldest sworn sister to Luffy, Ace, and Sabo. And after finding Ace and Sabo aboard Luffy’s ship, the Thousand Sunny, she explains to them who she is, her other sworn brothers and sisters, embarrasses the three of them (a regular Tuesday for her), and threatens them with a chalkboard for interrupting her. Multiple times. In this story, most of the anime I am into is in the same world (Bleach, Blue Exorcist, Fairy Tail, Fullmetal Alchemist, InuYasha, Magi, My Hero Academia, Naruto, Noragami, Seven Deadly Sins, and Sword Art Online. I might do a part 2.

Warnings: spoilers for the above mangas and animes, also, even though this is along the timeline of after the time skip (at some point), I took the creative liberty to have Ace alive during this meeting for a quad family reunion, might be language

“How the hell am I suppose to believe that my three idiotic brothers would be in the same place at the exact same time I’m trying to find them?” the girl with [H/C] hair, old enough to be Luffy’s age, maybe a year younger or a year older than him.

“[Y/N]!!” the rubber boy flung himself at her in a hug.

She fell down on her butt from the impact of the hug. She groaned before pushing the boy off of her and standing up, dusting herself off. “Geez, Lu. I was on a job, just finished, and I heard something about a Straw Hat, a Fire Fist, and a blonde with a top hat that put the mad hatter to shame. I just came to see if the rumors are true.”

“What job did you have, sis?” Sabo said as he sipped a smoothie created from Vinsmoke Sanji.

“Well, you see. In the ten years I’ve been gone, I’ve been busy. Both with being lazy and being diligent.” the girl explained. “I am a member of Fairy Tail. Dragon Slayer Magic, particularly fire, water, earth, air, and plant. Requip the Knight. Some space jumping there and vortex opening here.”

“You got the two mixed up, kid.” Ace said from his spot next to Sabo.

The girl grinned an evil grin. “Oh, did I, Ace of Clubs?”

The raven haired pirate groaned at the nickname while Luffy’s crew members wondered after the nickname. Ace kept giving her the don’t-tell-them-anything look with a cut-it-out motion. She, like most people she knew, did not listen to reason.

“Well, when we were younger, I attempted to teach the pour unfortunate souls that you call Luffy, Sabo, and Ace golf. And we played mini-gold. First hole we went to, the club flew out of Ace’s hand and crashed into the window where the pour lady working the club stand was clonked on the head and fell unconscious. Another fun fact: I’m overly competitive and therefore master of mini gold. Luffy on the other hand... beat my bowling high score of just a little over four hundred points.” [Y/N] explained.

“THAT’S NOT HOW YOU PLAY GOLF, YOU IDIOT!” Usopp shouted at his captain.

“Ace was a lot worse. However, on the eighteenth hole, got a hole in one. Although with team sports, I always sided with Luffy ‘cuz he was the baby of the family.” she explained.

“Never play Volleyball with her unless you’re Luffy.” Sabo warned the Straw Hat Pirates.

“Could you... possibly.... explain who you are?” asked Nami.

“That’s an easy and excellent question, m’lady. I am [Y/N] [L/N], the daughter of the Demon King from the Demon Clan, Niece of Solomon, adoptive daughter of the great dragon, The Curse of Depravity, a mage of S-Class ranking, the best older sister anyone can have, a Shinigami, and the Pirate Fairy.” [Y/N] said with her hands on her hips like wonder woman.

“You’re not wonder woman, dumbass.” Ace muttered.

She scowled at the boy (who was now physically older than her). “I know that, asshole.” Ace shrugged his shoulders at that. “Anyways, I should get going. I’m here with my teammates. And Salamander will have a cow if he finds out I’m on a Pirate Ship. Which may or may not include Natsu asking you all to fight him at once for his sister.” [Y/N] shrugged.

“SISTER?!” Luffy screeched.

“YOU ALREADY REPLACED US?!” Ace and Sabo said in unison.

“This is why I never took you to Amusement parks or sat next to you on a ride.” she clenched at her swollen ears. “No, I was merely saying that I have something called [Y/N]’s Council of Brothers. They’re basically a band of boys I feel need my protection, wisdom, and power to embarrass them until they’re six feet under and rotting.”

“She’s dark.” Nami said. “But can you explain this whole Council of Brothers thing. Because I’m not sure they,” the ginger pointed to the three brothers, “understand.”

“Alright! I will go over a lesson here!” and suddenly a white board appeared by her side with writing already on it.

“Where did you get the white board?” asked Luffy.

“That’s not important right now.” she scowled. “Yes, Sabo.”

“Was that Whiteboard always there and we just never noticed it?” the blonde asked.

“No. Ace if this is a question about the white board, I will smack you with the same gold club that flew through that window. All questions about the stupid whiteboard will be answered after I explained everything. Got it?”

The three brothers grumbled out a, “Yes.”

“Good. Anyways, to start it off I have two half-brothers. Meliodas and Zeldris.” she slapped a pointer stick against the whiteboard.

“Did she always have that?” Ace asked, whispering it to his two brothers.

“I don’t know. I’m just glad someone noticed it besides me.” Sabo murmured back.

“SILENCE, YOU INSOLENCE FOOLS!” and she threw a frying pan which hit Ace in the head.

Why does she have a frying pan in her requips? Sabo wondered in his head, not wanting to get hit in the head with anything else she might have to throw at them.

“Anyways, Meliodas and Zeldris are my half-brothers. Zeldris is the captain of the Demon Clan’s ten Commandments while Meliodas is the captain of Liones’s Seven Deadly Sins of which I am co-captain and the Phoenix Sin of Darkness. To be fair, I look more like my mother and I think the only thing me, Meliodas, and Zeldris share is our dumbassery we inherited from our father. Second off, my cousin is Magi Aladdin since my mother is his father, Solomon,’s sister. Now, that’s enough of my actual biological family. Now, I won’t go into detail about those three. Because you already seem well-acquainted with one another. Anyways, onto the next one. The next one on my list of brothers is a half-demon named Rin who is the son of Satan along with his younger brother, Yukio, but he doesn’t really need protection. next is Kazuto Kirigaya also known as Kirito. I prefer to call him that. He got stuck in a game where if you die there, you die in real life, but he defeated them. next, we have Satan himself, a king of demons, Sadou Maou. He works as a part-timer for a fast food chain which is sad to be honest. Next, we have Alibaba Saluja, a prince and a king’s candidate, also my cousin’s best friend. He wields the fire djinn, Amon. Also, he’s trying to be a gladiator while figuring out his feelings for Fanalis and former slave Morgiana. Next, we have actual God Yato who is a former god of calamity and a current god of war. I think. I’m not quite sure. But he and his two regalia, Yukine and a Nora named Kazuma, but also Kazune under Yato, must be protected by me at all cost. Then, we have Edward Elric, a alchemist missing both a leg and an arm because he wanted to see his mom’s smile again which kicks me in the heartstrings whenever I hear it. His brother, Alphonse, is an honorary member of the Council of Brothers. And he used to be entirely a soul attached to a suit of armor. No joke.”

“Does no one else notice that they are mostly raven haired or blonde?” Nico Robin commented.

The Straw Hat Pirates turned to the three sworn brothers who just shrugged their shoulders at that. “I admit I am guilty for that. But my actual brothers are raven headed and blonde, so that may be the reason. Anyways, off to the next people. Now, this person could make Luffy look like a genius. Sometimes. Natsu Dragneel, a salmon haired fire dragon slayer, is the brother of Zeref Dragneel, the black wizard, and also simultaneously END, the most powerful demon of the book of zeref which makes him one of the top fifteen most powerful demons. Next, we have strawberry boi, Ichigo Kurosaki, a shinigami who I’ve been helping train. He could see the dead and then he discovered his spiritual power, stole the shinigami powers of Rukia Kuchiki, and started to exorcist hollows and send souls to the soul society. Then, we have my favorite band of brothers since they could literally be in a band. Broccoli Boi, Izuku Midoriya, kinda has a power augmentation quirk, best way to describe it without giving too much away, Porcupine Katsuki Bakugo who can blow things up with help from his sweat. Zuko Wannabe Shoto Todoroki who can wield fire and ice. Also, his brother Touya may or may not be Dabi. Then, Pikachu Kaminari Denki who can utilize elctricity, but too much and he makes Luffy look like a genius. No joke. Well… maybe… I don’t really know. Anyways, then we have speedster Tenya Iida. Oh, there’s sharkboy Eijiro Kirishima. He can make himself go as hard as rock, but he has limitations. Then, we have spidertape Hanta Sero that can shoot tape out of his elbows. Then, half-demon InuYAsha who is the son of a dog demon and a mortal woman. There’s also Shippo who is an adorable little kitsune. And I think I got everyone.” the girl looked at her board before smacking it again as she noticed Luffy had begun to doze off while Ace had totally fallen asleep.

The action alerted the two boys to wake up at once and glare at their older sister. And then, a silver haired undead man with a flying blue cat landed on the floor of the ship. “Thank goodness we found you. C’mon. We got a mission and you and your ‘Team Natsu’ have a job request from the old man and a princess.”

“So Hisui and Bartra both agree to have us do something, but what is this so-called mission?” asked [Y/N].

Ban smirked. “We’re fighting slave-trading pirates.”

“I want in!” Luffy cheered.

One does not after all, stop a volcano from erupting once it starts.

It's hard to get her angry. Melvina often gets annoyed and yells yes, but angry? Oh no. That's always been slow and thick and covers everything around her, scalding those who tried to keep hurting her. (She's 9 the first time, power lashing out and rolling over the fake bandits and pirates who burn her home to the ground. When she regains herself it was to the sight of her sister in her arms; dead, twin link severed and aching like a lost limb and a crowd of dead marines playing bandit.)

(Her mother had always said she got her father's temper. Her father, a man who was as steady and grounded as a mountain, would always laugh at her confusion. Would mess with her hair and quietly say that yes, he did get mad but it took a lot to set him off. That's what mama meant, sweetheart.)

After that night it takes a long time for her to get angry again. She has more control and has more important things to do then burn and boil in anger for people she doesn't trust. Let them burn themselves out against the rocky slopes she hides behind. It was, after all, going to take time to find the traitor and she would burn, slow and thick then.

Except, someone finds a weakness without even trying. Barges in to her mountainous hold like he owns the place and ends up dragging her out with the tide. There she gets attached again. There she takes a look at the motley crew and see's all the same broken damage she feels everyday. How this man, this captain, took them all the same and said MINE to the rest of the world. She's dragged into pranks, and chased around the ship by two painfully young cabin boys. (Twelve years old and she feels 30 to their seven, broken and hollow and alone.) There, with this Captain and the cabin boys and even the First Mate and Doctor she whispers it quietly. Mine.

(Rayleigh was unsure of her, a far to young girl with far to old eyes. She's quiet for so long before finally pranking the brats back that he fears she's far to broken for once. That his Captain finally found one he liked but couldn't save. Doc called her a menace and nothing but trouble the moment he saw her, catching the sight of how she carefully looks everyone over and pulling her into the apprentice position.)

That's how it started. The quiet bubbling and simmering as she gained new precious people who won't ever replace her old ones but they help her not feel alone. It grew with everyday spent with them, the depth of her anger and rage. Fierce protective anger gets poured into the hollow in her soul when she looks at those two cabin boys and quietly whispers brothers to herself. Every slight against them adds another cup.

Determined searing rage was sprinkled in the few times her Captain was insulted. It seeps into cracks in the rocks and mostly settles on the bottom. Her Captain can handle his own after all. (It seeps out in little steaming vents when she finds ways to make the Marines, who survive meeting Captain, life interesting.)

Small hurts and betrayals, slights that were never meant but get said anyway, barely even float on the surface before they burn off in the face of her real anger.

No, what adds to it are the things she hates. Things that burn and ache and leave her nearly drowning in pain.

Doc's death, who fought and fought and fought so she could run with Shanks and Buggy back to Captain. Because of fucking people who claim to be gods and wanted Shanks for his hair and Buggy for his fruit and her for her eyes.

Her Captains capture and following death. Even if he was dying and neither she nor her new mentor, Crocus, could do anything about it. (She at least gets his consent about gathering what data she can while helping him. Even if Captain dies before she can find something, Captain knows she lives by holding her pain close and shouting to the world NO ONE ELSE HURTS!)

Then the good byes to Oden, a man she had watched with wary eyes for longer than the crew did. Who only finally trusted him when he told her begged to come to Wano and show off her Ninja and chakra skills to his friend when the boarders opened. (She waits and worries even when years later she finally manages to deliver a letter to Whitebeard from Oden.)

The crew disbanded and she was left adrift with two grieving teenagers and forced to stuff her own grief deep within to keep them alive. (A possible true betrayal sits on the back of her tongue like a rotten fish but she can't stop and try to contact someone, anyone, for help because Captain's enemies are many and they are only three.)

When she was forced to make a choice and drives away the last one chasing them while the boys run to one of the few surviving members of her blood kin. When that action separated them and she does not know how or where to find them but knows the boys were safe and alive.

All of those add to her soul and fill her rage up but it still doesn't boil over. It simmers and bubbles and burns while she keeps going. New people are added to her circle, some by chance and because their just far to cute.

(Ace from Dadan, who gives him over far more reluctantly then she would ever admit to but with the words you have no connection to him, he'll be safer on her lips. Because the Marines never caught her face, because Captain wasn't a fool like everyone though and apprentice and cabin boys where jealously hidden from view.)

(Luffy from Dragon, who nearly lingers to long to see his son one last time before they had to part. Who heard whispers and rumors about who to go to if you wanted a child protected and there maybe few Sondovel's left but Melvina is just as fierce and protective as her family name implies.)

(Sabo from a garbage heap, that gives him up nearly reluctantly when two boys wander off their mother's ship. A mother who had returned to Dawn to get the truth because her eldest kept falling asleep and finds them later standing their ground against pirates with the boy.)

And some because she sees the same broken and daring soul staring back at her.

(Two former Marines who each brake the law in someway for children who are not their own. A baby mink who just wanted his brother. The minks attackers who know no other way of life but are willing to try anyway. A blacksmith who smashed the head of a marine captain who tried to touch and lay with her two apprentices. And even Melvina's own brothers, who she finds and they find her in return.)

She gains a family and crew for a third time and this time she vows to not let them burn. Not to let them die. So her rage remains dormant, bubbling and simmering as she sails and it's always there. More is added as her boys grow and she has to let them go. (She hopes she did them better then she was even done.)

It bubbles up a few times, against a Shark Fishman who thinks to take over an island that holds her youngest's friend. She doesn't hold back and nearly grinds him into the ground when she arrives. Against a Madman who was brothers to a tripping hazard, who would kill and burn such bonds just because he couldn't stand to see family be different. He lives only because the little brother he now hated asked her if she could try. Nearly against her still living mentor when she goes to him and he refuses her. She only stops because her son's are there.

Until it finally it builds and builds and burns when the news paper comes out. When her eldest is labeled the Pirate Kings son and her brother sits next to him on the executioners platform. When the Marines finally cross a line she naively thought they wouldn't, naively hoped they wouldn't.

When war starts and the prize is her son and brother. When Whitebeard's sons try to send her away, but not the old man. The old man see's what his sons miss, knows the power of parents rage and lets her and her crew be.

Then the shot that nearly kills Buggy and Akainu's fist nearly impales Ace and it explodes. It burns and runs, hot and thick over everything. She uses every last ounce of her chakra and knowledge to fight back against the world. Her Snakes and Spiders come at her call and she burns and buries anyone trying to stop her. It doesn't stop when she feels her family now safely behind her on the sea. One does not after all, stop a volcano from erupting once it starts and she will bury every last enemy there, will burn them in her rage and anger and fear before she loses anyone else.

5 Years Later

Law just wanted a monster. He was exhausted. Another stretch of sleepless nights plagued him. Every couple of weeks Law would get caught up in the what-could-have-been. What he could have had if he had done things a little different. If he had listened to Luffy all those years ago.

At this point, it was likely that he’d never get to see Luffy again, at least not in person. Law saw Luffy in social media all the time, he kept tabs on him. How could he not? The Strawhats were doing better than ever. It wasn’t hard to keep an eye on him.

Luffy was happy, at least he seemed happy. And that was enough for Law. Law had been aware for years, that Luffy was the love of his life, but it really hit him last year. Last year, when he got another mark. The entire situation only helped Law realize how much he wanted to be with Luffy.

Law made his way down the sidewalk. The streets were busy with people, which worked out in Law’s favor. He walked to the mini-mart, just a few blocks from his motel room, wearing a hoodie and sunglasses. He had his hood pulled up, of course, sunglasses on. Law found the little corner store and headed inside. Here there weren’t many people. The first thing I did was look around at the people that were none were Tashigi or Smoker, and none of them looked like cops. Still, I kept my head down, got what I needed and got out.

It seemed, in Law’s short time spent in the store, more people were out. Law had learned, over the last five years to walk with his head down, to make himself seem smaller. People saw what they wanted to see, and no one wanted to see a man wanted for murder walking next to them. Law was halfway back when he heard it. A laugh he would never forget.

Luffy.

Law looked up and around, searching for his mark. That was his first mistake. He found Luffy ahead of him. Walking towards him actually. Luffy wasn’t alone either. He was with Robin, Brook, and a child. A little blonde boy that couldn’t have been more than 5 years old. What were the chances? Surely, Law must be seeing things. Seriously. what were the fucking odds that he’s run into Luffy now? Then again, what were the odds that Law would walk into an internet-famous influence like Luffy, to begin with? Memories of their last night together surface in Law’s mind.

The half-drunk, somewhat experimental sex, the next morning that Law hated so much. If the alcohol hadn’t made that night foggy, time sure had. The memories were a different time, almost another life, maybe even from a different person entirely.

Luffy hadn’t seen Law yet, he was too occupied laughing with the boy who could only be Koala and Sabo’s son. Luffy and Robin both held Ace’s hand, swinging him in the air every few steps. Ace definately looked more like his mom than his dad. Sure he had Sabo’s wavy blond hair, but that was Koala’s smile.

Luffy was happy, at least he was right now. Law just hoped he had spent the majority of the last few years just as happy.

Law’s mark pulsed. He had felt almost nothing from it. It’s like it had a mind of its own. It knew Luffy was near and it wouldn’t take no for an answer. Law saw Luffy look down at his wrist and frown. He was only a few paces from Law now. Luffy looked up and looked around. Law looked down at the ground and didn’t dare look up. He watched his feet.

As much as he wanted to see Luffy, to talk to him…to hold him. He knew it was better that he didn’t.

Smoker and Tashigi were watching Luffy. They had been in the same town as Luffy, always. Stussy had tried to get Luffy and Law a place to meet, but every time she got close to Luffy, one of them was there. It wasn’t safe.

At least that’s what she had told him. And Law had learned to trust Stussy. It’s not like he had much of a choice now anyway. His heart pounded in his chest. He could hear Luffy talking to Ace as they got closer.

Law bumped shoulders with someone.

“Sorry,” He muttered, walking faster and trying to get away from Luffy. Away from Robin. If Luffy did notice him, Robin sure would. Law heard their voices behind him.

It hurt to be that close to Luffy and not be allowed to even look at him. He wanted so bad, for Luffy to notice him, for Luffy to follow him so they could be together. Even just for a few minutes. He missed Luffy so damned much. His smile and laugh, his stubbornness and his voice. His lips and his touch. The way he ran his fingers through Law’s hair.

But he heard Luffy’s voice fade into the crowd as more distance was put between them. And he knew it was better this way. Law knew it was better that Luffy stays with his friends. Seeing Luffy meant getting caught. With Tashigi and Smoker being right behind him all the time meant Law needed to be cautious now. If Luffy didn’t notice him, Smoker or Tashigi just might.

Law walked with a purpose now, making his way back to his hotel room. Often, he felt the urge to look behind him, that would make him look suspicious. So Law just walked. His mark throbbed some more. It almost hurt. Like it was lashing out for Law not getting Luffy’s attention. It was unfair, and Law felt childish for thinking that. Law wanted. more than anything to be able to have a life with Luffy.

He made it back to his motel room and dug into his pocket for his room key. When he didn’t find it in that pocket, so he dug into the other one, switching his bag into his other hand too. Then Law patted down his jeans for the key. He found it in his back pocket. What an odd place for it. Law unlocked the door and tried not to think about Luffy. Tried not to think about the life he could have had with him. It’s not like he could do anything to fix the choices he made now. Law really did wish he had listened to Luffy when they argued over Stussy’s offer.

Law got the door open and someone grabbed him. Holy shit, had Smoker found me?

Law swung at whoever touched him. It was instinctual, he hadn’t even looked at who it might be.

Luffy ducked under Law’s swing -wait.

Luffy ducked. Luffy grabbed Law’s arm and pushed him into the wall. Law was too stunned to do anything. Luffy pulled Law’s glasses off.

“I knew it,” He said. Luffy grabbed the edges of Law’s hood and pulled him closer. Luffy’s lips were soft, softer than Law remembered but just as breathtaking. Of course, Law kissed Luffy back, not doing so would go against Law’s very existence. Luffy let go of Law’s hood and wrapped his arms around Law’s neck and bit Law’s lower lip and all of time seemed to be made up in that kiss.

Law was livid for it. The lack of closure made it all that more meaningful. It was like they were back in Flevance all over again. Law wrapped his arms around Luffy and pulled him closer. There was plenty they should talk about, plenty they really should work out, but… It could wait.

The two parted, looking into each other’s eyes with heavy breaths. Both unable to find words to speak. What could they possibly say to each other? Luffy had every right to be angry at Law, every right to yell and scream at him over the way Law left him. And Law had so much to apologize for, so much he wanted to say to Luffy.

So much time had passed, it was almost ridiculous to hang on to such things. The black marks were the only concrete things between them.

Law almost couldn’t bare Luffy’s big brown eyes staring into his very soul. Law leaned in, hesitantly at first, then all at once. He kissed Luffy again, wrapping both arms around him and hugging Luffy close to him.

Law pushed his hotel room door open and pulled Luffy inside. Once they were in Law pushed Luffy against the door, effectively closing it. It had been far too long since they were in each other’s arms. Luffy pulled Law’s hoodie into his fists.

It was several moments before Law finally came to his senses. He pulled away from Luffy and pushed him away.

“You shouldn’t have followed me.” Law couldn’t even look Luffy in the eyes as he spoke.

“That’s what you have to say after five years?” Luffy sounded disappointed and annoyed all at once.

“You could have just put both of us in danger,” Law muttered, still not looking up at Luffy.

“I don’t care,” Luffy decided.

“That’s bullshit,” Law retorted.

“What’s bullshit is you leaving and only leaving me a fucking note, which was also full of bullshit.” Law had nothing to say to that.

“I’m so mad at you but I miss you so much,” Luffy admitted. He frowned. “Why didn’t you talk to me?”

“I-I didn’t want to put you in the position of choosing between me and your life,” Law said. “With everything that you had going on, I couldn’t do that to you.”

“So you decided to give me no choice at all?” Luffy asked. “You just made a decision that changed my whole life without even telling me!”

“Luf-”

“No!” Luffy snapped. “It’s no fucking fair!” Luffy stepped back and clenched his fists. “You’re everything to me and you just left. Do you have any idea how I felt when I woke up hungover and you were gone? I didn’t even see you’re damned note until the next day.” Luffy’s eyes teared up.

“And when I showed up in Flevance without you. You should have seen Fai’s face because her first thought was that you were dead.

"And the fucking cops and detectives that wouldn’t leave me the fuck alone. They still come to talk to me every few months.”

“Love, I’m sorry,” Law said. Law stepped closer to Luffy and cupped Luffy’s face in his hands.

“I really am, so sorry for the way I left,” Law said quietly, looking into Luffy’s puffy eyes. “I wish I would have listened to you… I hate that I had to leave at all. But I don’t think there’s any way I would have changed it.”

“Torao-”

“If I told you, you would have come with me, wouldn’t you?”

“…yeah…”

“That’s what I thought.” Law brushed his thumb against Luffy cheek. “I love you, okay? There’s nothing that will change that. I love you so much, and I can’t let you give up what you have for me, not your friends, not your family, and not your career. If you left with me, you’d have to put your whole life on hold and I’m not okay with that.”

Luffy’s lip trembled.

“I love you too,” Luffy said. He kissed Law. Luffy pushed Law back, stumbling over his feet as Law fell onto the bed that was behind him. Law caught himself on the mattress, to keep Luffy from falling on top of him altogether as Luffy plopped down and straddled Law’s lap. Did Luffy intend on sleeping with Law?

Fuck, Luffy didn’t know, but he wouldn’t try and keep it from happening. He wanted Law so bad, he wanted Law to pull on his hair and kiss his neck, to run his fingers through Luffy’s hair and down his spine. Luffy wanted to lay on Law’s chest and follow the lines of Law’s tattoos with his fingertips. He wasn’t sure if Law wanted. He didn’t have the same feel for Law’s boundaries as he used to. Luffy pulled away, playing with the zipper of Law’s hoodie.

“Can I?” Luffy asked, meeting Law’s eyes. Law nodded. Luffy pulled Law’s hood down and gently kissed Law. He unzipped Law’s hoodie and pushed it off Law’s shoulders. The sweater came off and Law wrapped his arms around Luffy and kissed him.

Luffy ran his hands through Law’s hair, he missed how soft it was.

Law slid his hands underneath Luffy’ shirt, Luffy couldn’t take it anymore. He wanted Law. Wanted his touch and his lips all over Luffy’s body. Law’s cool hands on his sides were a tease compared to what Luffy was longing for. Luffy pulled away and Law started to kiss his neck. Luffy couldn’t help the small hum that left him at the feeling of Law’s lips on his skin.

“Torao?” Luffy asked

“Hm?”

“I want you a lot right now.” Law hugged Luffy a little closer, making their bodies completely pressed together. Law kept kissing Luffy’s neck and brought a hand down to Luffy’s thigh.

Law pulled back.

“Glad I’m not the only one,” Law murmured. He kissed Luffy’s neck again and bit his skin. Law’s hands found their way back under Luffy’s shirt, this time pulling it up and over Luffy’s head. Law trailed his fingers down the scar on Luffy’s chest. It had become smaller over the years, not by much, but Law could tell. Luffy closed the gap between them and kissed Law hooking his arms around his neck and rocking his hips against Law’s. Almost instantly, Law became hard for Luffy.

Luffy tugged on Law’s shirt, hating the clothing for keeping them apart. They parted as the shirt came over Laws head for a mere instant before they were kissing again. Their movements became more feverish at every passing second. An awful mixture of wanting to cherish every moment. the two shared and desperately craving the other’s touch.

Law dragged his fingertips down the middle of Luffy’s back and he moaned against Law’s lips. Law’s hands wandered to Luffy’s ass. Luffy gasped when Law squeezed him, and his persistent grinding came to a halt.

Law wrapped an arm around Luffy’s back and laid Luffy onto the bed. He kissed Luffy’s neck down to his collar bone, at the same time, undoing Luffy shorts and pushing them off him. Luffy kicked his sandals off to help Law out.

Luffy took his sweet ass time freeing Law of his pants. Law pressed his thigh against Luffy’s hard dick and kissed Luffy. Not forgetting how much Luffy liked his hair being pulled. Luffy moaned.

“I don’t have lube,” Law said. Luffy honestly didn’t expect Law to have any anyway.

“I don’t care,” Luffy sighed, Luffy took Law’s hand and brought Law’s finger to his lips and started to suck them. Luffy moaned with Law’s finger in his mouth and moved his body against Law’s.

“Damn, you are so hot right now,” Law said. Luffy hummed and pulled Law’s fingers from his mouth. Law quickly kissed down Luffy’s chest, over the scar, and down his stomach.

“Ahh, Traffy,” Luffy moaned when Law took the length of Luffy’s dick into his mouth. Law spread Luffy’s legs a little further apart and pushed a finger into Luffy’s ass.

Luffy tangled his fingers into Law’s hair.

Law added another finger, then another and stretched Luffy out while bobbing his head. The noises that came from Luffy made the hairs on Law’s arms stand. The only real downside was that Law couldn’t see the expressions Luffy made when he moaned.

Luffy pulled the blanket into his fists, given different circumstances, Luffy would have absolutely loved this. But right now, all Luffy really wanted was Law to be close to him, and this did not feel close enough.

Law pulled his finger out of Luffy and pulled away from Luffy’s dick.

Law pressed his own hard cock into Luffy’s ass. Luffy moaned and dropped his head back onto the mattress and wrapped his legs around Law’s hips.

“You alright, Love?” Law asked leaning over Luffy. Luffy wrapped his arms around Law’s neck and pulled him down to kiss him.

Law complied but pinned Luffy’s hand’s to the mattress and interlocked their fingers. Law started to move, thrusting into Luffy slowly. Luffy moaned into their broken up kisses. His eyes started to water and his breathing got heavier.

Law picked up his pace and those waves of pleasure he knew were only from the marks they shared rushed through him. Law hummed and moaned with Luffy. Law squeezed Luffy’s throbbing dick and stroking it, moving his hand over Luffy’s dick to match Law’s thrusting.

“Fuck, Torao!” Luffy moaned and panted. The waves from their marks grew more intense than Law remembered them ever being.

And it really was bliss that came from their marks. Luffy moaned, nearly screaming really. Law pulled away panting just as hard as Luffy was.

He pulled out of Luffy both of them moaning with the movement. They moved to a more cuddle friendly position on the bed.

Luffy pulled the cover from under them and Luffy laid on Law’s chest with Law in his embrace and Law wrapped his arms around Luffy. Neither of them spoke until their breathing had long since evened out.

Luffy played with Law’s hand, drawing nameless shapes into the back of it and occasionally leaving a kiss or two there. The complete comfort with Lw was lulling him to sleep.

“Torao, don’t let me fall asleep, ‘kay?” Luffy mumbled.

“Guess you’d better not let me fall asleep either, huh?” Law said. He had been drawing his own shaped on Luffy’s arms, following Luffy’s toned muscles.

“Deal.” Luffy’s yawned. He turned Law’s hand over and traced the lines in Law’s palm, following one down to Law’s wrist, down to his marks.

Oh, there was a mark next to Luffy’s. A black one.

“When did this happen?” Luffy asked, dragging his finger over the mark.

“Hm?” Law hummed looking down to see what Luffy was talking about.“Oh, last year.” Luffy stared at it for a moment, wanting to ask another question, but not sure he really wanted to know the answer.

“Are you with them?” Luffy asked quietly. It had been five years, it wasn’t absurd to think Law was with someone else. That didn’t mean it didn’t hurt…

“Tch, what kind of person do you think I am? I wouldn’t have had sex with you if that were the case,” Law scoffed.

“Good,” Luffy muttered still tracing over the mark. He hated it. This was his Torao and no one else’s. “Who?”

“A waitress from Mock Town,” Law said, pausing as Luffy spread Law’s fingers apart.

“She was pretty and could probably eat just as much as you.”

“Did anything happen with you guys?” Luffy murmured. Law smiled at the thought of Luffy being jealous.

“Aside from some unintentional flirting, no,” Law said. “I don’t think I could be with anyone but you, Love.” Luffy smiled and kissed Law’s hand.

“You say that because I’m the only mark you’ve had a relationship with,” Luffy said, looking up at Law. Law turned his head and kissed Luffy’s forehead.

“I say that because I’m in love with you,” Law corrected and kissed Luffy’s lips. Luffy was quiet for a minute.

“Torao, I don’t want to go back to not seeing you, I don’t like it,” Luffy said, looking back down at Law’s hand.

“Babe, you know it has to be that way, at least until I can figure out a way to get the detectives off my ass.”

“We’re together now without a problem…”

“Love, you’ve been being followed by Smoker or Tashigi constantly, they’ve been keeping an eye on you, and Fai, and my friends. We were lucky he wasn’t watching you when you followed me back here,” Law explained.

“I just want to be with you…” Luffy mumbled.

“I know, Love, I know.” Law tilted Luffy’s chin up and kissed him. “Me too, but we’re together now so let’s just focus on that, okay?” Luffy nodded and kissed Law.

The two laid in silence for another short stretch of time. Leaving kisses on foreheads, hands, and shoulders. Only to be interrupted when Luffy’s phone rang. “Where?” Luffy searched the covers for the phone.

“Probably where our clothes are,” Law said. Luffy crawled to the end of the bed, giving Law a great view of his bare ass. Luffy retrieved his phone and sat back next to Law.

“Hi, Nami,” Luffy said. Law pressed his hand against Luffy’s lower back and rubbed circles into it.

“Where are you?” Nami asked. Luffy glanced at Law.

“Can I tell her?” Luffy whispered with the phone away from his face.

“Better not to, at least not over the phone.”

“Can’t say!”

“What the hell does that even mean?” Nami asked. “Get your ass back here.” Law sat up and wrapped his arms around Luffy and bit his earlobe.

“I can’t,” Luffy said.

“Because you’re mine,” Law whispered into Luffy’s ear.

“I’ll tell you when I get back.” Law pushed his hand up Luffy’s chest.

“I dunno.”

“Luffy!”

“Relax, I’m not getting into trouble,” Luffy promised.

“I don’t know about that,” Law muttered.

“Fine, you better not be,” Nami said.“Will you at least be back by tomorrow?”

“No promises,” Luffy said.

“Luffy…”

“You’ll understand later,” Luffy said. “I’m going now.” Luffy hung up the phone and left it on the bedside table.

“Do you have to go?” Law asked, pressing his forehead to the back of Luffy’s neck.

“Nope, you’re stuck with me a little longer.”

“Good.” Law pressed his lips to Luffy’s skin. “Come lay with me.” Law leaned back into bed and Luffy got comfortable on Law’s chest. Law yawned and wrapped an arm around of Luffy.

“Hey, you’re not falling asleep on me, are you?”

“Never,” Law promised. Luffy shifted onto his stomach and looked up at Law.

“Traffy, do you ever think about what could'a happened if you didn’t have to leave?” Luffy asked.

“I know it’s kinda dumb and point-”

“All the time.” Luffy smiled.

“Like what?”

“The places around Flevance I still want to show you,” Law admitted.

“What else?”

“Several anniversary dates we’ve missed.”

“Uhuh.” Luffy smiled.

“Little things like waking up next to you and making you breakfast, kissing you goodbye at the airport.”

“Shishishi.”

“And bigger things like getting married,” Law spoke quietly now. “Maybe even raising a family.” “Like kids?” Luffy tilted his head

“Maybe,” Law said.

Five years ago Luffy would have hated that idea. Kids seemed like a responsibility Luffy didn’t want.

But after spending time with Ace…

After watching Koala and Sabo raise Ace, Luffy didn’t think it was so bad.

“That would be really cool,” Luffy said.

“You think so?”

“Yup!” Luffy kissed Law and moved back onto his side.

“I’m going to figure out a way around this,” Law said. “I don’t know how yet, but I will, I promise. Even if I have to turn myself in.”

“No!” Luffy Looked up at Law. “I don’t care how long it takes, but don’t turn yourself in, I don’t want you anywhere near Impel Down.”

“I’m responsible for Dellinger’s and Doflamingo’s death,” Law said.

“You helped kill Mingo,” Luff spoke slowly. “You did it because he was threatening me and my friends because he was using me to control you because he wanted you to kill Koala.”

“How did you know about that?”

“Sabo told me.” Luffy continued, “You helped Stussy because it was the only way you saw out. With Dellinger, it was worse, what he did to you…” Luffy touched the scars that were still all over Law’s arm. “You did it to protect me and Fai, to protect Zoro and yourself. You don’t deserve to be in Impel Down for that.” Law kissed Luffy’s forehead.

“Thank you, Love,” Law murmured.

Law was so warm with Luffy next to him. It was pulling him into sleep. Luffy wasn’t doing a great job as staying awake either. The couple murmured absolute nonsense to each other. Until they fell asleep. They slept through the rest of the afternoon and into the evening.

Law woke to the feeling of Luffy tracing over his tattoos. They moved slowly over Law’s chest in that half heart shape. Law didn’t want to move for fear of this being some vivid dreamscape. Luffy’s hand moved over Law’s shoulder and Luffy pressed his hand over the scar on Law shoulder.

“Morning, Love.” Law doubted it was morning but that didn’t matter. Time was relative anyway. Luffy looked up at Law.

“Morning,” Luffy said with a smile. He kissed Law.

“So much for keeping each other awake, huh?” Law asked, running his hand down Luffy’s back.

“That’s okay,” Luffy smiled and pressed his forehead to Law’s chest. “Did you sleep okay?”

“Yeah.” Law buried his face into Luffy’s hair. Still, he didn’t feel close enough. "I always sleep better with you.“

"Good,” Luffy hugged Law. “Neh, Torao, when you figure this all out, let’s get married.” Law was quiet. He stilled moved his fingers up and down Luffy’s back. Again, Luffy didn’t think he would have entertained the idea without seeing Sabo and Koala.

“Okay,” Law agreed. The next afternoon, Luffy went back to his hotel room with the rest of the Strawhats. And Ace. His hair was still damp from the shower he and Torao took. When they got out, Stussy was there. She scolded both of them but it was obvious she wasn’t very upset with them.

“Welcome back, Luffy,” Robin greeted.

“Luffy!” A small voice shouted, running up to Luffy. Luffy scooped up his nephew in his arms and hugged him.

“Hi!” Luffy smiled.

“There you are!” Nami said, coming out of her room. “Where were you?”

“I’m a bit curious too, you did just take off yesterday without saying anything,” Robin said. “I was with Torao,” Luffy said. There was a moment of silence.

“Oh?”

“What?”

“He passed us while we were walking yesterday, so I followed him.”

“How is he?” Robin asked.

“He’s alright, he’s tired of being on the run and all.”

“He and Stussy haven’t figured anything out yet?” Luffy shook his head.

“Who’s Torao?” Ace asked.

“He’s my mark, see,” Luffy showed Ace his wrist.

“What are those?” Ace pointed to the scars on Luffy’s wrist.

“Those are scars,” Luffy said. Ace ran his thumbs over Luffy’s wrist, holding it close to his face and studying the marks there.

“What time is the flight?” Luffy asked. “That’s today, right?”

“It’s in two hours, you should make sure his stuff is all together,” Nami said.

“Is your suitcase packed?” Luffy asked Ace. Ace shook his head, his blonde hair bouncing as he did.

“Let’s go get it packed, your dad is going to be here soon.”

“Stussy-ya,” Law said, watching the door close behind Luffy. “How often does your boss make deals?”

“Usually only when there’s something he really wants from you,” Stussy said. Law nodded. There were a few things he had to offer concerning Flevance and the white lead. There were also a few skills Law was practiced at that could be useful to the government. Sure it had been a while, but Law wasn’t any less sharp in the subject. There was a sickening feeling in his stomach. He didn’t want to do this. He wanted there to be another way but it wasn’t worth it anymore.

“Could you take me to him?”

“A-are you sure?” Stussy asked.

“Yeah.”

“I can get us over there by the end of the week.” Law knew it’d cost him. He knew he’d hate it. But if it meant he could be back in Flevance, with Luffy and Fai, it was worth it. Law didn’t expect to get his entire life back, It had been too long for that.

But to at least have the people back in his life…

Battle for the Ocean’s Hearts

A/N: Okay my lovelies to celebrate this beautiful day I wanna update chapter 2 of Battle for the Ocean’s hearts as well as explain to you guys why I haven’t been updating.

Okay here goes, somewhere along the line between my birthday and now I lost my love and passion for writing. I literally would rush and force myself to write something anything and I would hate what I had out and didn’t want to tell you guys because I am not use to sharing my feelings and I thought it was better to tell you guys I am almost done with the stories or that I will have them out soon etc. and that was wrong of me to do so and I am sorry.

However, after taking some time off social meida and watching One Piece, My Hero Academia, and Demon Slayer as well as finding a new job and realizing my worth I began to slowly find my passion for writing again, and on this special day I got back my love for writing of course I had to rewrite all my work because like I said I rushed everything and was not happy with it now I am back and I am going to keep my word on the days that I will update my stories ^^ welp that enough of my babbling on with the show ^^ and once again thank you all so much for sticking by me and hope you continue to do so ^^

Chapter 2: A mother’s concerns

Ace, Sabo, and Luffy looked at their bags, making sure they had everything they needed, Dadan watched her boys pack their things with gloomy expressions, she didn’t want her boys to leave, more importantly she didn’t want them to give up their dreams of being pirates.

She understood where Garp was coming from, wanting to protect the boys, but still…didn’t he realized that by bringing them to the Marines he was basically leading the lambs to the slaughter?

Sure they promised him to not hurt the boys so long as they followed orders and stayed on the side of the Marines, but Luffy, Sabo, and Ace were meant for the sea. They were meant to rebel against society and to cause as much chaos and mischief as they could.

Garp probably did understand that and maybe that’s why he was sending them to Marinford so that they are somewhat protected and aren’t hunted down because of their blood.

While in the beginning she hated them, she slowly began to love them as a mother would. These boys lost everything and only had each other and her.

She realized how close she came to losing them when Sabo almost died, when she saw he was alive and well she thanked Shanks and begged for forgiveness from Ace, she slowly realized that Ace felt lonely because of his blood and her distain for him didn’t help.

After Ace forgave her the four became close, and when Shanks offered to take them she was reluctant but agreed, they were no longer safe here with Sabo’s parents trying to find him the next time could be worse.

Of course, that’s when Garp showed up and told her he was taken the boys with him.

“Dadan,” the bandit turned to see Garp looking at her, she couldn’t help but feel that Garp was hiding something from them. Something that he didn’t want anyone to know especially the boys. Of course, she was probably reaching, and it might be her motherly instincts trying to protect her boys and their dreams but still she couldn’t help but feel that there where holes in his stories.

Like how exactly did the Marines find out about Ace and his parentage? Also, the timing seemed off, them finding out about Ace being Gol D. Roger’s son around the same time Luffy found out about Shanks being his father as well as Shanks informing both her and Makino that he will be taking the boys with them.

It just seemed weird to her that once Shanks announced that he will be taking the boys away Garp comes out of the blue and telling them and the boys that the Marines found out the truth about Ace and that they would be spared if Ace joined them?

Something just didn’t seem right and while Dadan did want to question him she knew that if she did he would probably call her crazy or worse he’ll probably give her a fist of love and tell her to mind her own business.

Which now that she thinks about it when it comes to the safety of her boys…it is her business! Still she had to make sure that her boys were safe and that this wasn’t another ploy of Garp’s to get the boys to become Marines.

“What?”

“I want to thank you for all that you’ve done, and just know that whatever you need I would be happy to pay you back for everything you’ve done,”

She looked at him before she took a deep calming breath.

“Garp…I want to ask one thing and one thing only,”

“What’s that?”

“Will the boys be safe with you?”

Garp stared at his life long friend…the woman he bribed to take care of Ace and Luffy, she raised Ace and took care of Luffy and while Sabo wasn’t part of the deal she still took him and risked her life to save him all because he meant something to Ace and Luffy.

Taking a deep breath he looked at her, he knew she cared for them even if she acted like she didn’t, still he knew that if he told her the truth Dadan would take the boys and contact Shanks the minute she could.

She cared for them, hell she even supported their dreams of being pirates so he had to make sure that whatever he said next did not give her a hint that he was not only lying to the boys but to her as well.

“Yes, they will be safe. So long as they stay Marines and follow protocol then nothing bad will happen to them,”

The look that she was giving him made him feel a little unnerved, it was like she knew he was lying to her but she was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt if it meant ignoring everything inside her that was telling her to take the boys away and run as fast as she can.

Garp…owed her a lot…and holding out information from her was another thing he will have to owe her.

Dadan took a deep breath before she walked over to the boys and grabbed each of them by the scruff of their necks.

“You brats better behave got it?”

The three boys looked at the woman who took them in, fed them, and risked her life to save Sabo and them.

They owed her a lot…and if doing this little favor for her then they would do it.

“We will,” Sabo said.

“Whatever,” Ace grumbled.

“Okay,” Luffy said.

Dadan tried not to cry at seeing the boys’ disappointed expressions, she knew how badly they wanted to be pirates, sadly they had to give up their dreams.

Well Ace did, but she knew deep in her heart and soul that neither Sabo nor Luffy would be able to live with themselves if they had to fight Ace and harm him that doesn’t involve training.

She also knew that Ace would rather die then arrest his brothers or bring them any harm so if giving up their dreams meant protecting each other and saving one another from the heartache of bringing harm to one another they would gladly do it.

The bandit turned them around and wrapped them in her arms and held them as tight as she could.

“Watch over one another, protect each other,”

The boys didn’t say anything, they just held onto the woman who took care of them…the woman who became a mother to them.

“We will,” they said together.

Dadan then looked to Garp.

“Take care of them or else,”

Garp nodded his head and stepped outside letting the small family enjoy their moment.

After their good-byes the boys and Garp boarded his ship and set sail.

He turned to look at the boys who were torn between looking excited at being in the open sea or disappointed that they were at sea and headed towards becoming Marines and not following their dreams.

Garp decided that this was the perfect time to turn those frowns upside down by telling them some stories about his time as a Marine and maybe just maybe this will bring them some joy into becoming Marines.

“Okay brats gather around, I wanna tell you guys about my time as a Marine,”

“Aren’t you still one old man?”

Garp shook his head,

“I mean, when I was young,”

The three looked at each other before shrugging their shoulders not really caring if they were being honest.

Garp took it as a yes abd began to tell them tales of when he was younger and the dangers he faced.

If they were being honest Ace and Sabo were a tiny bit interested, okay maybe a lot but only because they like the idea of kicking someone’s ass, other than that they didn’t care about Marine life.

Luffy on the other hand,

“Sounds boring,”

Garp looked at his biological grandson.

“What? What do you mean boring? The life a Marine is much better than that of a pirate’s,”

“You always follow the rules, my dad said being a pirate means about being free and getting to do whatever you want,”

Garp took a deep breath and silently cursed Shanks for wanting to become a pirate.

“Luffy, being a law-abiding person is better than being a criminal,”

“What’s wrong with wanting to be free?”

Garp glared at his grandson.

“Being free is just a fancy term for people who want to do whatever they want and hurt whoever they want,”

“That’s not what my dad told me,”

“Did your dad also told you he’s one of the most dangerous pirates to sail the sea? And a celestial Dragon? Or that he used to be in Roger’s crew?”

Garp knew that if he brought up Roger that would set Ace off and mentioning that he was a celestial dragon would piss Sabo off since he hated nobles and celestial dragons.

Luffy loved his brothers and he would listen to them without hesitation at least he hoped that was true since Dadan mentioned how ever since Ace, Luffy, and Sabo met the three have balanced each other out in different ways.

And sure, enough he was right, Ace looked at Garp with eyes full of curiosity and anger.

“Shanks…was in Roger’s crew?”

“Shanks is a celestial dragon” Sabo asked.

“Yes, he’s dangerous and not someone to be taken lightly,”

Looking at Luffy he saw that his grandson was close to tears.

“No…my daddy isn’t a dangerous man…he’s just a pirate who wants to be free…”

“He’s killed innocent lives Luffy, that’s what pirates do, they kill and take and destroy lives, why do you think that your other father never send you to him? He didn’t trust him and was scared that you would get hurt with him,”

Another lie, Dragon didn’t tell Shanks about Luffy because Dragon didn’t want Shanks to know as well as give up his life of being a pirate, hell Dragon even admitted to Garp that if Garp didn’t take Luffy in then he would find Shanks and hand the brat over to him knowing full well that he would not hesitate to take him in and do whatever he can to protect Luffy.

Garp could see in Luffy’s eyes that he was trying to cling onto the image of Shanks that he had in his head, that he didn’t want to believe what his grandfather’s words and that Shanks wasn’t a celestial dragon, the very same people that tried to take Sabo away from him or that he killed innocent people but Luffy wasn’t the sharpest tool in the shed, and so long as he didn’t question nor asked why Shanks left the Celestial Dragons then Garp should be fine.

As for Ace and Sabo…mentioning that Shanks was once in Roger’s crew would surly piss off Ace and stop him from defending Shanks since the man saved Luffy from a sea king and if Ace was angry then Sabo’s protective side over Ace would take over, stopping him from asking the right questions.

These next few days Garp would have to play his cards very, very carefully if he wants the boys to give up their dreams of being pirates and become law abiding citizens.

He looked at Luffy who was trying hard not to cry but was losing the battle, Garp took him in his arms and allowed the boy to cry. He looked at Sabo and Ace who did not hesitate in joining the hug. Garp wrapped his arms around all three of them, silently asking for forgiveness for all the lies he was feeding them.

“Its to protect them, I need to do whatever I can to protect them…”

Somehow that was slowly getting harder to believe.
