REVERSE CRUNCH Il Crunch inverso rispetto al crunch classico si differenzia per il cambiamento del punto fisso del movimento: è il pube a muoversi verso lo sterno e non viceversa (flessione del rachide). . È un esercizio che stimola principalmente il retto dell’addome nella sua interezza e non solo nella sua fantasmagorica parte bassa come spesso si è soliti credere. . Il mito dell’addome basso stimolato in questo esercizio è dato dalla sensazione generata dall’attivazione di fibre differenti dei muscoli obliqui. Alcune fibre più basse di questi muscoli, infatti, sono disposte in maniera più favorevole per esplicare una flessione del tronco a partire da un movimento delle gambe. . ESECUZIONE Da supino, con le anche flesse a 90° circa e le ginocchia piegate, portate le ginocchia in direzione del tronco, staccando l’osso sacro dal pavimento o dalla panca, flettendo il tratto lombare della colonna. Stoppate il movimento prima che sia coinvolto nella flessione anche il tratto toracico. Il movimento va eseguito senza slanci ed è importante imparare a staccare l’osso sacro portando le gambe verso l’alto e non all’indietro, evitando di oscillare. È consigliato anche qui espirare forzatamente in fase concentrica. Riportate l’osso sacro al pavimento alla fine di ogni ripetizione e ricominciate. . Nella sua versione con panca declinata a 30° il crunch inverso è uno degli esercizi migliori per gli addominali indicati dalla letteratura scientifica per l’attivazione della muscolatura addominale (Escamilla et al, 2006). .
