Hey guys, I know she’s really beautiful, but don’t forget SHE IS A REAL BEAUTIFUL HUMAN behind her tumblr account, so treat her like one. R-E-S-P-E-C-T her as a person because she is one. Don’t be creepy and nasty and weird. Let her enjoy her tumblr experience in peace. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

Character Designer Issue 1 (2003) Guilty Gear concept art + Daisuke commentary
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Theres a nice amount of undocumented stuff! A few of these have been shown off elsewhere, but theyre still pretty obscure. Some of the sketches have fun things like beta character names (i enjoy “frederick mercurius” for sol and “blackmore” for testament.) and little notes that are… mostly illegible, but theres still a ton of commentary here. Also includes an interview with daisuke.

Today, March 8th, is International Women’s Day. I wrote this poem last year to honour women and today I post it as a spoken word. Honour all women, whether they are your wives, girlfriends, sisters, friends, daughters, mothers, grandmothers or aunts. Honour even women you don’t know. Today I especially dedicate this piece to the women and girls who are being held in captivity and being abused by a terror organisation. I honour the women who were brutally ravaged on Oct. 7, 2023 and for whom the rest of the world still remain silent. They are, and were, ALL our wives, mothers, daughters, sisters, friends.

it's been pointed out on here before that a lot of terf arguments are actually rooted in sexist idealology that feminists fought and died to unnormalise decades ago and that's its own kettle of fish but one thing i also find very frustrating about this so called 'radical' feminism is that it's so... defeatist? like the moment you categorically label an entire section of society as Bad and Inherently Evil then there's also the implication that nothing can be done about it, and it completely takes all accountability away. saying all men are evil is just another way of saying boys will be boys. he raped her because he's a man. he hit her because he's a man. he didn't listen because he's a man - it's almost offensively oversimplified. there's no point trying to fix this issue in society because men are just Like That, okay! so now what? it's not like they're going anywhere, so you just accept that 50% of the population are evil and will forever treat you terribly and there's nothing to be done about it bc they're biologically predisposed to it? like is that fr the argument here? you're soooo radical for that
#this is coming from someone who used to very genuinely be a misandrist#ironically it was only when i started actually analysing my own feminism that i got MORE confrontational with men#and started respecting my boundaries a lot better BECAUSE i started holding them accountable again#like when men treat me like shit nowadays i dont just write it off as 'what did you expect? he's a man' i get MAD about it#because i EXPECT BETTER FROM THEM even if it's just tiny shit women have to deal with daily#i hold them to just as high a standard as im held to and i make them take accountability when they dont meet that#and whether you realise it or not even on a subconscious level the MOMENT you black-and-white blanket statement all men as bad#you stop holding them accountable.#like it is literally just boys will be boys. do terfs seriously not realise they're sending feminism BACKWARDS#like if a girl came to me with her trauma and people - other girls no less - tried to comfort her with 'yeah all men are evil'#id be fucking furious. like no he did that because he was a piece of shit that had it normalised to him that women arent to be respected#dont you dare let him off the hook with something as simple and uncritical as 'he's a man'#i promise you men like that will MUCH prefer a blanket statement such as 'all men are as bad as each other'#than actually being point blank told they're an abuser or a rapist. because being lumped together is comfortable and even empowering#wheras isolating their behaviour with words that are Bad and Ugly (LIKE 'rapist') is not comfortable at all and has heavy connotations#idk i dont think radical feminism is always bad on its own it can be v liberating. just terfs and misandrists that i have a problem with#dropping this post in a piranha tank and closing tumblr knowing im gonna have some thirty year old karen yelling at me within 5 mins#i probably wont respond to any terf comments bc they literally mentally exhaust me with their stupidity#but that also depends on my mood and ability to keep my mouth shut LMFAO we shall see

i don't understand how a lot of y'all can be all "protect and believe black women" but when it comes time to do it, you invalidate her and call her a liar and question her femininity...
i know that defending her online isn't the end all but she sees that stuff. she sees people in her comments and she sees the people on twitter calling her a liar and derogatory names. she sees that and it breaks her.
for the most part, black women are defending and believing her because usually the only people that REALLY have black women's back is black women. even then, there's animosity a lot of the time.
black men need to defend us too. they need to have our back the way they expect us to have theirs. how can they expect us to be at their beck and call and defend them even when they're in the absolute wrong but not bat an eyelash when somebody does us wrong? how can they get mad when we don't defend their wrongdoings but call us liars and bitches when something happens to us.
this shit is sick and the fact that megan has shared her suicidal thoughts over this entire situation is incredibly heartbreaking. she wished she would have fucking died than have to deal with everything these people are putting her through.
the very LEAST we could do (especially within the black community) is support and uplift her online. lift her spirits even the slightest, but people chose to berate her and push her down even further.
we don't deserve megan thee stallion and she deserves so much more. my heart is crying for her and i really pray she gets the closure she deserves.

not for anything but friendly reminder that ~fandom discourse~ about where women belong (or people you perceive as women) is misogynistic as fuck. or what they're allowed to say, or what they're allowed to write about, or what they're allowed to enjoy.
next time you see someone having a tantrum and vaguing, especially if their posts from week to week completely contradict each other, perhaps analyze if the common denominator is "a gross woman said something and now i'm mad" without otherwise adhering to any actual principles.

At some point I wonder if Black people get tired of consistently having egg on their face. Y’all love to defend other groups, but they rarely ever do the same for us as Black people.
Black people like to defend Latinos and they get a bunch of lightskinned and mixed Latinos saying the Ni**er to their faces because of their general ignorance of race vs ethnicity.
Black people like to defend indigenous people and they those same indigenous peoples(this really only applies to the ones in the south like the Cherokee, Seminole, Creek, and Chickasaw, and Choctaw) rarely ever acknowledge the fact they were oppressors to Black people. Or when’s someone brings it up, it’s “but they were kinder than the white people!” Like please-
Black people defend Asians, especially South East Asians, and we get them calling us slurs in their own language, extreme colorism, extreme texturism, and generational prejudice and biases about black people.
Black people defend biracials and their “blackness” and instead we get them replacing and erasing us in our own shows, other media, and praising the white features that they inherited from their white parent. Meanwhile, darkskinned women from Africa are called Eurocentric because they’re beautiful and have different features(despite black people saying we come in all shades and colors and features. Black people don’t like it when those different features aren’t on a mixed or biracial girl)
Black people defend the lgbt community and we get their community members saying we as black women aren’t women because of white supremacy.
Like are we not tired! Are you not tired of constantly being laughed at and being made the joke of the world?! Are you not tired your people are considered the front line warriors who will defend everyone if they don’t deserve it?! Would it kill the black community, especially the black girls and women, to focus on ourselves and our image that’s slowly disappearing. When will we learn to say it’s not our fight.

Without the woman, there would be no man. They should not only be loved but made to feel they are loved. Wives, mothers, daughters, girlfriends, sisters, grandmothers. Respect, honour and cherish them. Happy International Women’s Day.

Gotta be honest the constant objectification of women's bodies is a bit tiring sometimes.

You can’t put a tag on someone’s hugs and kisses who truly loves you. They’re priceless. If you love her give her affection, respect and your time. And always vice versa of course.
