not for anything but friendly reminder that ~fandom discourse~ about where women belong (or people you perceive as women) is misogynistic as fuck. or what they're allowed to say, or what they're allowed to write about, or what they're allowed to enjoy.
next time you see someone having a tantrum and vaguing, especially if their posts from week to week completely contradict each other, perhaps analyze if the common denominator is "a gross woman said something and now i'm mad" without otherwise adhering to any actual principles.

i know that atsv and spiderverse in general is probably not including Gabe for various reasons and therefore when Mig took his alt selfs place he wasnt actually leaving anyone behind. he said something along the lines of “i found a universe where i was happy” which kinda screams that something was fucked up with his home one, i’d like to think more than usual because the other explanation is that he just left like all his family behind. Which is extremely messed up but also on the other hand a little funny
like imagine being gabe here. Imagine your older brother fucks off to another universe because of his depression and comes back with even worse depression ranting some shit about canon events. You have to be told where he went by his AI because god knows your brother has all the communication skills of a rusty spoon. Have to be told he fucking left with no intention of coming back

the best thing about going through old posts from 2012 is remembering how people on tumblr and the internet in general back then spoke EVERY other WORD in CAPS LOCK while reacting to things they vaguely liked as if oh my god. OH MY GOD. IT WAS THE GREATEST THING EVER!!!!! while PUNCTUATING THEIR SENTENCES with EXCLAMATIONS!!! but never splitting apart sentences word by word with them as we do more often now and instead

for emphasis so that you end up reading everything very dramatically with lots of PAUSES and changes in caaaaaaadence~ and an. ti. ci. PATION!!!
with quirky visual references to accompany this fanciful theater kid julliard applicant text. 2012 was the year of the theater kids and everyone including the theater kids knew it. and nowadays online we're all just lowercase derailing train of thought no punctuation no excitement just mumbling quietly to ourselves snarky hipsters and even when we get exCITED@!!! like this it's intentionally bungled so it's less of you being genuinely enthusiastic and more of you putting on a voice so that you can have the copout of being satirical about being enthusiastic. and this is due to the post-2015 mass surgence of dave strider influenced transmascs being released to mingle with the rest of society coinciding with the great cringe culture epidemic of the mid-2010s. in this essay i will

snape apologists: omg poor baby boy he never did anything wrong he’s had a rough childhood but he was always a sweetheart like hes a total victim! a victim!!! hes never done anything to warrant what he got and he deserves sm better than that absolute *insert any misogynistic term here* lily he totally didn’t deserve what SHE did to him 😢😢
canon snape, literally making whole ass spells that torture his enemies and being an overall sassy feral shit who also happens to be part of a gang of terrorists:

This'll be a weird question but I've been thinking about this since I watched a video discussing hot takes within FNAF and wanna discuss it with other people.
How do you feel about people who still cling to the idea of Roxy being a narcissistic bully because of the stuff she'd say while hunting Gregory, despite being hacked into/possessed?
Cause honestly, I think it's funny how apparently Roxy gets flack for saying some mean stuff while under the influence of a hack. At the same time, people will go to the ends of the earth to defend William Afton or Monty (if he really did kill Glamrock Bonnie I mean).
It's SO fucking stupid and I hate it 💀
And I fully agree with the last part, people out here (youtube and twitter people) treat Roxy as a full on evil bitch while defending and wanting to fuck a literal child murder and abuser. And we don't know if Monty killed Bonnie or not, but if he did, no one's gonna say anything lmao. (Even people who think he actually did kill him, they still love him and are fully riding him, but nooo RoXy StIlL bAd Bc ShE mEaN 😡😡🤬🤬)
I guarantee you that if Monty (or a "male" animatronic) was in Roxy's place, no one would say jack shit and some people will only think he's so hOT 😫😫 for it
I really don't see Roxy as a narcissist, the game clearly showed us that Roxy deals with a lot of self esteem issues, and I think she just talks to herself so she can feel better. And the whole "bullying" thing when talking to Gregory, I really believe it was just her being hacked by Vanessa/Glitchtrap to get to Gregory.
AND RUIN LITERALLY SHOWED US THAT??? Roxy clearly had a close relationship with Cassie, and there's a reason why she's Cassie's favourite. Roxy apologized for scaring her when she recognized her voice, and when she heard her again, she welcomed her back and talked to her so sweetly and was just so gentle with her?? NOT TO MENTION HER BEING THE ONLY ONE TO BE AT HER BDAY!!! AND PROTECTING HER FROM THE MIMIC DESPITE CASSIE DEACTIVATING HER AND POSSIBLY DYING FOR HER
After all of that, you're still going to tell me that she was always a narcissistic bully who cares about no one but herself??? BLOCK ME THEN /SRS

If I could describe James Wilson any way I wanted, it would be painful. He reminds me of so many different kinds of pain, I can't pick just one.
The kind of pain you don't even realize hurts. Like when you cut yourself and you don't even realize it until you've already smeared blood all over your shirt and the countertop. Like when a deer is shot, and for those brief few moments, it keeps running. It doesn't even realize it's been hit until it's too late. This type of pain creeps up on you. Like that myth that says you're supposed to put frogs in a pot of water and slowly warm it up so they don't even realize they're dying? That kind of pain. You don't even see it coming. You can't even prepare for it. One moment, you're fine, and you understand life, and then everything changes before you can even blink. Wilson is like that. He sneaks up on you, he integrates himself into your life, and he becomes everything you need. And you don't even realize it's happening until suddenly you can't exist without him. Suddenly, your whole world revolves around him, and you can't quite figure out how that happened so fast.
The second type of pain that James Wilson embodies is the kind that maschocists would die for. It's the kind of pain that hurts, but you can't pull yourself away from it. It's the most dangerous kind of pain because it's the kind that you learn to love. It feels like your lover biting your lip when you're kissing, or when your muscles ache after a night together. It's like having a puppy that playfully nips at you or a cat that kneads your legs while purring. It's the kind of bittersweet pain you feel when thinking back to fond childhood memories. You smile at them, and they warm you, but you're left with a bone deep ache. When you move out of your parents' house, and you're so excited to have your own place, but looking at your now empty childhood bedroom makes you want to cry. James Wilson is that kind of pain. He slides his way into your life and slips into your heart, and just looking at him hurts because he's so beautiful. He reels you in with the most perfect words and softest actions, and he convinces you that you are the center of the universe, if only because he said so. And when his attention inevitably wains, and you go from obsession to neglect, you can't even fully be mad at him. Because he knows you'll soak up any drop of his affection, and he'll feed you just enough that you don't starve. He strings you alone, and just when you've finally got the courage to leave, he'll look at you with those soft eyes and kiss you with those pretty lips and convince you that you've hung the stars. And it becomes a vicious cycle that you can't claw your way out of, and you're not even sure if you want to try.
James Wilson is an addiction. He hides himself through innocent smiles and sweet words and pressed clothes and a facade. He's not what he looks like. He's not safe. He will promise you that you can trust him, that he's innocent, that he's only got your best interests at heart. And you'll be tempted to believe him. But everybody lies, and nobody lies better than he does.

My favorite thing about the Sunny and Leo egg beef is that it’s so fucking real. We’ve all had that one kid that our parents or siblings expect us to be besties with but just didn’t care for them at best and couldn’t stand them at worst. Or a time when our parents’ friends are over and they brought their kid so we have to play together even though they’re unbearable. Or even a classmate that simply annoyed us by existing that we’re forced to invite because of our parents.
These definitely aren’t the kindest or the most emotional mature of thoughts but it’s the truth, especially for young child. And as someone who was once a confident, bossy, self-proclaimed princess themself, some kids were definitely off put by my presence. However, I’d say that more people annoying the fuck out of me in comparison.

Sorry about the anon hate re:Blaze, I just wanted to say that I really admired your positivity, we should definitely call out this kind of behaviour. I reported some folks in the notes.
Anyway, I hope you're having a great day! Keep doing you!
THANK YOU SO MUCH! This is what #truesolidarity looks like! Thank you for looking out for me. I couldn't say the same for my family or my wife and her family. Or my employer. Or my therapist. Or my landlord. I always count on good friends though (:
