let's rate red hood costumes

if i forgot smth lo siento. just let me know, there are so many of these and i am one creature

this is just for fun btw. nothing serious here! <3

now these are all comic canon red hoods (except maybe two? we'll get to them). no alt universes. maybe one day.

now on to the costumes

Hush Jason. Maybe not technically Red Hood but like. c'mon. close enough

i'm giving the rating 6/10

I know the trench coat was probably more for mr. hush himself, but i enjoy it. i'm also a filthy pouch lover so they do get points. also in red! cute. the boots are also neat. the negatives are that ugly robin dress/tunic thing. kinda silly. still it was good for giving bruce a spook.

2. the classic. the og. red hood utrh version!

9/10, easy. the casual outfit paired with the sleek red helmet. *mwuah* wonderful! nothing bad to say. it's recognizable. comfortable. stylish. great job all around

3. titans tower. ah.

-10/10. i would give props for running around in the scalies BUT THE UGLY ASS YELLOW TIGHTS. disgusting. bare his legs to the world you cowards. i'm mad. this could get at least 7/10 for sheer moxy if it weren't for those hideous target brand pantyhose

4. brothers in blood.

he's literally just copying dick, but being unhinged as hell about it.

5.5/10. he looks good. who doesn't in nightwing's fit? though he is copying, he does get points for obsessive weirdness of it all.

bonus?

???/10 i don't know how i feel. i've never known how i feel about this.

5. final crisis

i think he had a helmet in this arc and it broke but dont quote me!!!! pay me to read final crisis again if you have an issue.

he spends most of his time in jeans + leather jacket + just the domino

this is probably the most boring but i give it a 10/10 my boring ass loves it. no dressups just a guy in a shitty little mask. clapping. bravo. there's something ~thematic~ bout it

6. final crisis pt 2

1/10 i hate the red robin suit i hate it i hate it. we finally got tim out of the damn thing even though it came at too high a cost (he's trapped in robin purgatory). it does look okay in wfa, but usually in dc reg comics it looks like ass.

regardless jason looks bad in it too. very sweet of murdery bruce to give it to him but ugh. at least could've given him some ears on that mask. then it couldve been bumped a point

7. batman

the first time jason decided to wear a muzzle. hm.

6/10. there's nothing wrong with it. it's just a bit generically 'what would gun batman look like'. the face part is my favorite, with the weird grater muzzle, pointy ears, and red glowing eyes. it's fun

8. batman&robin

i need to get my first thought out. the little symbol on his chest reminds me of homestuck. i can't really unsee it. i know like theres no connection. but it looks like it could belong on a homestuck human

anyway. 3.5/10. he was willing to try something totally new, so i'm giving points. i enjoy the white. is the red hood goofy af? yes. yes it is. iconic, though? sometimes the upper black part is drawn lower, i've noticed. it doesn't change much for me.

i like the thigh highs going on here. the red guns are sexy!. he looks bad but there are good things here!!!

there is this version, which ditches the thigh highs, gives back the classic helmet, removes the cape for a jacket, and adds belts.

6/10 i think it fixes a lot about the prev costume, though it's really just like they threw utrh's costume and his previous batman&robin costume in the blender lmfao

wow flashpoint. father todd is not a red hood, so we progress.

9. nu52

an update on the og look. i do like the contrasting brown jacket, the prominant thigh straps. sometimes his helmet is drawn suctioned to his face so -2 for any of that cause it's so weird

8/10 not a bad update to the classic.

10. red hood/arsenal

i dont remember when he changed into this actually. in my head it's rh/a but i could be wrong.

i see no one talking about this abomination. his new fit? yah. this one? no?

4/10 the bottom of this is fine. i HATE the jacket. sorry it's just. ugly. his arm bands are also clunky. the matching between arsenal and red hood is nice though. so it didnt get too low. roy pulls it off better :(

hm. i didnt read this. this makes me not want too akdsfhsl

0/10. ugly. looks like a villain in some scifi thing in the 90s. like power rangers. sentai villain looking ass. boring grey, ugly lines and shapes, the goofiest helmet on earth......

ig willis is burdened with this curse now

12. 3 jokers (dubiously canon. i dont consider it so but since dc left it in the air we add it)

he has a helmet for a bit. this one is interesting bc i could actually see it as a futhering of his costume had he lived. sans helmet ofc. it's hard bc i don't not like this, i just feel it doesnt fit his aesthetic in the present day. 5/10. if jason had lived and not become red hood id rank it higher but then we wouldnt be here, would we?

13. batman's gift

i debated putting this, but it's different enough from the nu52 vers

very fun. body armor all over. i like the red arm guards here unlike w/ the prev one that had these (less bulky ?). i like the leg stripes.

it doesn't really do much to change his look, but there are differences

14. task force z

it's like the above but more just body-armored. really all he's done is remove the jacket and get shoulder pads. 6/10. the negative point is for the lost jacket :(

7/10 i did say if he ditched the tights i'd rank it higher (twas all a dream through lmao)

controversial of me, but i think. i think it's fine.

now i do agree his little hoodie is.........well it's not that great. my least favorite part tbh.

the new brown pants nicely contrast, though i have seen this costume with grey pants too?

here we are. The red bandages are fun, i think if they were white i'd hate 'em but the red is interesting. i also like when bits of them are sticking out. idk. cute detail.

i like the muzzle mask as well. that with the hood has given us delightful in shadow!jason where only his eyes glow out. i also like when artists put his white hair tuft out. adorable. probably not what he's going for but that's what the creature no face look is for

really the hoodie is the one thing i'm ??? on. it looks silly in a bad way. there are ways to keep a red hood while giving a better jacket/vest. future state's was much nicer.

this wasn't in the ratings but i do prefer any weapon beyond the crowbar sigh. it starts showing up through a lot of them so i decided to just not do anything about the score.

assortment of headcanons about what they're doing on social media

anne maria uses twitter where she just posts about her day to day life and gets into celebrity drama on there. like shes caught liking hate posts about other people and it becomes a thing but most people like her so she has a fanbase rallying behind her. she retweets her fans thirst edits

jo is an instagram user where she just makes workout videos and shares advice. shes tried to move on from TD but she keeps getting tagged in fanart and just blocks them

brick stays off social media because now the whole world knows his embarrassing secrets and doesnt like getting reminded of them. but i think hed use pinterest for fashion inspiration and things like that.

lightning uses instagram and twitter. he probably watches edits of himself smh.

sam is a twitch streamer. his fanbase is pretty chill and hes pretty popular. he interacts with chats and makes a living off of sponsors and superchats. his streams r fun, he plays videogames. sometimes dakota makes a cameo appearance.

yeah dawn doesnt rlly use social media :( she sells stuff on craigslist but thats the most she'll do. maybe she collabs with charity organizations but only on their accounts. she doesnt have her own. i think she'd be anti social media

zoey has a tumblr blog.... just posting indie aesthetic stuff. people send her asks about the show and she happily answers. she likes interacting with people. she has a few fandom sideblogs too lol

now when zoey is older and a 30 year old millennial she has a tiktok and SHES SO CRINGEY AND WEIRD AND EMBARRASSING (i mean that in the most affectionate loving way possible). shes the worst millennial imaginable. shes the 30 year old pick me. i hate her (affectionate). shes like that woman who made the "and my mom thank you to my mom 😝" sound. i love her for that

mike isnt much of a social media guy. the most he do is mental health awareness stuff and interviews about his life with DID

i really dont know about cameron honestly???? i think in the future he gets rlly buff so when the cast reunites his voice hasnt dropped at all and his head is still the same size but hes 9 feet tall and giant and rlly buff. its scary. maybe he does workout progress stuff.

Fionna and Cake finale spoilers

That finale was amazing. I liked how it ended. Prismo has a friend now. Simon is getting therapy, and he’s adventuring now. Fionna and Cake’s world has a mix of magic and normalcy. Simon got closure with Betty and learned to move on, which I wasn’t expecting but was a really good story decision. We got to see Shermy and Beth again which REALLY hyped me up. Kinda weird that Marceline didn’t show up for the ending montage to comfort Simon, but other than that it was really really really good…

I NEED MORE! I NEED TO SEE SIMON ADVENTURE WITH FINN AND MARCELINE! I NEED TO SEE HIS THERAPY WITH MINERVA! I NEED TO SEE HOW JAKE DIED! I NEED TO SEE PRINCESS BUBBLEGUM AND MARCELINE GET MARRIED! I NEED FINN AND HUNTRESS WIZARD! Oh and maybe seeing the characters the miniseries was named after again would be pretty neat…AND NEPTR WHERE WAS NEPTR I NEED NEPTR! I WILL NEVER BE SATISFIED! 7. Aahh has anyone suggested making the which waystone notify you when you have completed pursuits to pick up?? I swear halfway through every goddamn month I remember that pursuits actually exist and then promptly forget again after picking them up. I use the waystone daily for the exact purpose it was added for: to not fucking forget about shit. I rely on it a bit too much actually so please just put pursuits in there I'm begging. I want to save up those stupid achievement coins for when they add new stuff to the shop but I'm so slow doing it because I keep forgetting aaahhhhhh

You woke up at 8am to the sound of pans banging in the kitchen, immediately you smiled, knowing your mom had gotten up early to start baking.

A look over to your left would remind you taehyung fell asleep in your bedroom last night....you couldn't help but feel bad, he was so crammed up against the wall, and he definitely would be complaining of back pain later on.

You shifted slightly, allowing room to pull the covers back and plant your feet on the ground. You slept, but not for long.

You were still feeling a bit off after having an episode last night, but the startling realization that came soon after only further prevented you from getting the 8 hours of sleep you so desperately needed.

Your feet clashed against the cold tiles of your bathroom as you slowly shut the door and turned the light on. Your phone was still sitting on the counter near the sink, exactly where Taehyung had left in last night.

You brushed your teeth and contemplated whether you should quickly text them back to clear things up. You promised Taehyung no phone, but this situation was becoming much more serious.

Your eyes gazed to your reflection, sighing.

theres no way....right?

you've been late before, it wasn't some odd occurrence to your body. you grew up playing soccer, dancing and doing track, your teenage athletic self always had weird period dates

But then again, that was a while ago.

You felt guilty for many reasons, 1 being the fact that if you are what you think you are, how could you have been so careless with what you did?

You always used some form of contraception, you even planned to get an IUD implanted when you see your doctor in a few weeks, just so you didn't have any scares.

you also felt guilty for if you were pregnant...

You knew you couldn't be a mom, hell, you could barley take care of Yeontan or yourself.

You also knew Taehyung on the other hand, would absolutely love this, which breaks your heart.

"I don't know, I think it would be fun" taehyung said, reaching into the bowl to grab more popcorn

"It doesn't sound or look fun, taehyung, babies are menaces" You scoffed, looking at him

"oh well I dont think so....I know when I get older someday I think I'll have some...only one or two, depends on what my future spouse wants" he shrugged

"you do realize babies need attention and care, its not like a dog where you put the food in a bowl and leave it to fend for themselves..?" you joked, watching your friend contemplate parenthood at the ripe age of 20.

"Its fun to think about" he smiled softly, looking over at tannie who sat with his tail wagging. He sure was easy to care for, what more work is a human baby?

oh was he naive.

You washed your face and brushed your hair, trying to get out a knot from sleeping with a ponytail in, when taehyung awoke and began to knock on the door.

"baby..." he whispered, seeing the light on, "you in there?"

You smiled and walked over, unlocking the door and pulling him in happily.

"happy birthday!" he whisper yelled, immediately attacking you with kisses and pulling your smaller frame into a hug, "I love you!"

You giggled and kissed him back, hands wrapping over his shoulders, "thank you....I love you too, even if you slept in my bed last night" you smirked

"hey, you told me to!" he added, pulling away

"shh!" you put a hand over his mouth, his deep voice echoing through the room, "I was in a state of weakness, and I really hope my mom didn't see you in here"

He shrugged and moved to hug your from behind, both of you facing the mirror and looking at your reflection, it was sweet.

"so was I the first person to say it?"

you raised an eyebrow and and tilted your head as you applied moisturizer

"happy birthday, did I beat your mom to it?" he giggled, making you smile and nod, "yes, tae you did, you won"

"oh really? what do i win" he smirked and pushed you against him, his face finding the crook of your neck too easily.

"ah-" you tensed and pulled back, knowing if he continued you would have gave in right then in there. "nothing until we get back to Busan"

He frowned, trying to get you to change your mind, "baby."

"taehyung! we are not fucking in my mothers house, let alone my childhood bedroom!" you whispered loudly, making him explode in laughter.

"hey, I was just gonna ask for a massage, I didnt say anything about sex, but now that you mention-"

"no"

"damnit"

You smiled at his antics as he returned his head to your shoulder, humming softly, "you look better, you feeling good, too?"

You nodded, "yeah, I guess...still a bit iffy but mentally im better"

"good" he kissed your cheek and looked at your phone, taking it silently and sliding it into his pocket, making you frown.

As afraid to admit as you were, things were slightly coming together now....in a light you wish was dimmed.

When you came downstairs your mother surprised you with a huge birthday breakfast, something you expected hence the fact she does it every year- but what you had not expected was you trying to fight the urge to vomit all over the plate at the scent of the scrambled eggs.

You swore up and down to both your mother and tae that you were okay, just still feeling the effects from last nights situation, but the moment you were alone in your room for the first time since youve been here, you began to break.

"What if's" filling your head as you cried silently against the shut door, deep deep down you believed you would possibly laugh about this later on, like "oh remember how I was so dramatic and thought I was pregnant? what a funny time!"

"Y/N?" your mother called, knocking on the door, "we are leaving for lunch in 15, almost ready?"

you sighed, feeling bad for your bad mood against your mom who was just happy to have you in her presence. "yes, almost..."

She had thrown together a small reservation for the 3 of you at a local wine and dine restaurant, you were feeling a bit more hungry now and were grateful for that.

Putting on a black tank top and jeans, you curled your hair and put some makeup on, all while that silly little voice in your head kept nagging at you that something bad was happening.

You tried to calm yourself, even going as far as saying that even if you had gotten pregnant, you would figure out a way to deal when you got back to Busan...you just wanted to enjoy your vacation.

All of you had made it out the house on time, taehyung offering to drive to the place while you and your mother sat in the back seat. You gazed at every passing store, seeking out any type of pharmacy available. You wished you could use your phone map, but you know....

"you will love this place, My friend took me here after one of my doctor appointments last week, the food is to die for!" your mother patted your back on the way into the small yet lavish building, the spring flowers making your nose itch.

"oh thats nice, was it stacey who took you? or Linna?" you responded

She giggled softly as you waited in line to check in for your reservation, "no, actually he is a new worker, his name is Ji-Tae"

Your eyes widened, turning to taehyung behind you, who was making a smug face, mouthing the word "he?"

You pouted, "I see..."

you were skeptical. You always want your mom to be happy, and for sure you understand how lonely she is living alone with such a big house filled with things your dad had built for her before fleeing your family to be in a different one.

The food was good, and you ate a lot of it.

Your mother insisted to buy you a drink to go with your pasta, making you hesitant, so the glass sat full in front of you.

"is it not good?" she would ask, making you race to come up with some excuse that wasnt related to the possible fact you could be pregnant.

"Oh I took a sip" you lied, "its good but I dont think I should be drinking right now"

She beamed up, seeming happy "oh? how come?" she smiled knowingly

Taehyung took a sip of his wine and raised his eyebrows, confused.

You panicked quickly, "because I am still not one hundred precent, health wise, so you know-"

"I'll drink it!" he smiled and took a sip, face scrunching at the mixture of his alcohol.

"dont mix, its not good to-" your mom began

"and we dont want you to get drunk" you gently rubbed his back, giving him a knowing glare, he nodded.

You nervously continued to pick at your lunch scraps

"hey we should get coffee or something after this, theres a store plaza down the street" your mom insisted, offering to drive you both

"that sounds fun" he looked at you, smiling

"yes, im down"

It fell silent, not in a weird way, it was peaceful...the wind coming in from the window near you had your hair flowing like you were in a covergirl commercial, and the sun only made your skin look shiny and tan.

Taehyung couldn't keep his eyes off you

Even sitting here eating, doing nothing particularly interesting, you were the only thing that had his attention, you've always been so effortlessly beautiful in his eyes.

"you are glowing, y/n" your mom smiled, taking her eyes off her phone to look at you, "dont you think, taehyung?"

"I agree" he hummed, making you blush.

Your mother began to ramble about something to do with her job while he got lost in thought, something hes done a lot the past 24 hours.

He couldn't help his mind racing back to the first time he felt this feeling, this feeling of admiration and love when he realized he saw you differently...

"You cant, your- you aree a cheater!!" you slurred, tripping over yourself as you walked to the living room again

He giggled, putting his wine down and pulling you to sit next to him, "just because I know how to play the game, doesnt mean I cheated"

It was almost 3am, he had finished working in his office around 11pm and promised to spend time with you as you both had fallen into a habit doing.

you would cook, prepare wine and entertainment, and he would get to destress and spend time away from his laptop.

Obviously, one look at the both of you right now, you can tell who handles their alcohol better...

"Fool" you scoffed and sat down with a thump, leaning against him in the dark room.

"be nice" he teased, his hand poking into your side.

He had to admit, spending so much time with you was nice, he realized you had matured a lot emotionally since hes met you, and you both had grown into semi-adults with real lives and things to talk about, it was an odd but fascinating thing for him.

He also had to admit, that for the first time in his life, seeing you against him with your hair sprawled out and your shirt scrunched up, revealing a bit of your soft stomach, made his heart somersault.

You also had grown into him in a way you never saw coming, he was so easy to just be next to, so easy to talk to, so easy to know and love, and that is why it led to what it did....

He gently cupped your face, titling you up so your eyes met his

"so pretty" he blushed and whispered, making you giggle in even your drunk state

"I know you are but what am I?" you raised an eyebrow, trying not to laugh as he pushed your hair back, brushing it with his long fingers softly.

"Y/n.....?" he spoke after a moment, the room filled with tension- and no longer from the card game you had just fought over.

"yeah?" your face froze, eyes scanning over him,

he gently took your hand and placed it onto his chest

"your heart is beating reallyyy fast" you smiled

"yea, i know"

You watched his eyes draw to your lips before going back up, making you smirk.

"you wanna kiss me?" you teased, watching him blush even more, he was practically a tomato right now.

"I- uh,"

"you can if you want" your hand slid up over his shoulder, relaxing at his nape as you sat closer, nudging his nose with yours.

He swallowed harshly, feeling sick a bit, and was unable to identify if it was the rush of emotions or the drinks.

"dont overthink...its just a kiss" you whispered

and with that he pressed his lips to yours, softly swiping his tongue into your mouth.

It was just a kiss.

yeah, it was a kiss the next day too, after he finished work, you sat waiting for him, sober this time.

You ate then made out for a few hours before falling asleep- he was content, knowing you not only liked it too, but continued to want him.

thats how it was for a few days, things were normal until 11pm, then anyone onlooking would consider you both in love...and he loved that

He was a sensitive person, still is, when he feels something he feels it deeply and quick, He was only growing more in love with you by the day, and was convinced you felt the same.

that was, until it was about a week and a half into this escapade

"I want you" you panted, his lips sucking just under your clavicle as your hands gripped his hair.

You both were sprawled out on the couch, completely sober as you passionately made out, the puzzle that had been started was no longer interesting to either of you.

He sat back a bit, looking at you, "what?"

suddenly you felt embarrassed, "we dont have to do anything" you covered

He sat looking at you, it only made you feel self conscious, so you sat up and wrapped your arms over your bra, hiding your chest.

He wasnt mad, or shocked, he just couldnt believe you were asking to...to take things to this level, to be intimate with him.

You both have only been doing this for a little while, but he felt like its been forever-perhaps its due to the fact you both grew up together, he knows you, you know him, it felt safe...and right.

He didnt want to rush anything, but his heart was beating so damn hard right now, "y-yeah? you want to?"

You blushed, "yeah..." you watched his face light up, a small shy smile on his lips "its just sex..ya know? it doesn't hurt anyone"

He nodded, trying to figure out what to say or do now

"so is it okay?"

"of course, y/n, yeah..." he smiled again, feeling so glad in knowing you trusted him.

You laid back again, pulling him down and kissing him, "no strings?" you asked

oh.

Of course you dont want this to be a serious thing, it wasnt who you were, he should have known that....but yet he was still hurt.

"yeah....n-no strings"

and thats how that came to be.

He snapped out of his head and took a sip of his drink, smiling at you, your eyes met his and you blushed a bit, mouthing "what?"

He shook his head, "nothing"

Things might be different now between you both, but one thing that hasnt left or changed is the admiration he saves for just you.

"this is so cute, huh?" your mom turns to you, showing a mannequin with a summer dress on it

"aww it is" you walked over and felt it

"i'll buy it" she smiles, "birthday gift"

"ah! you dont have to eomma-"

"i want to, shush" she giggled and grabbed a medium off the rack, putting it into her shopping basket, you kissed her cheek, thanking her and linking arms while you walked.

"wheres taehyung?" she asked

just as she finished speaking:

"guys look" he ran up to both of you, he had disappeared about 14 minuets ago to go explore the market.

"what is that?" you smiled, looking at the container in his hand.

"there is a little store across the way, there was pets and stuff.....I bought a fishy" he grinned like a child, presenting the item in front of him.

"Taehyung how are we gonna bring a fish home?" you laughed at his cuteness, looking into the small water container to see a tiny fish swimming around happily.

"oh...I didnt think of that" he frowns, looking down, "I also bought a tank for him too"

"that you did" You nodded, looking at all of his bags.

"you guys are fish parents now" your mom laughed and patted his shoulder

You swallowed and nodded, yeahh fish parents

"we can discuss names at a later time, lets go show the lil dude the market" he spoke proudly, holding it up and talking to it as he passed cool stores, as if it could understand. It was kind of adorable.

You smiled happily as you all walked around a bit more, stopping at a cafe to get coffee and tea.

"iced with oatmilk please" you call out to your mom as she nods, getting into line while you and taehyung sit at a table outside.

"hes so cute" he laid his head in his palm, admiring the fish.

"we should name him spongebob"

Taehyung laughed, "but spongebob isnt a fish..."

"but hes yellow!"

"hmm...how about 해 (hae- sun in korean)

You smile and nod..."thats cute, actually"

"Then Hae it is"

You giggled and looked around, your eyes fell on a store a few blocks from where you were sitting- a pharmacy.

It was like a reminder of the possible issue at hand, everywhere you turned, the universe wouldnt let you rest.

The fish baby, the pharmacy, the pregnant woman who complimented you in the restaurant, It was haunting.

"hey, uhm, im gonna go run down the street really quick, i should be back before my mom comes, line is long"

He looked up at you "where you going?"

"just the pharmacy"

"can I come?"

You widened your eyes "no!...uhm i need....tampons." you nodded

"alright, do you have cash?"

You looked in your bag and had about $11

How much was a pregnancy test?

"here, just in case.." he smiled and gave you $10

"thank you honey" you kiss his head and take the money, assuring you will return asap.

You felt bad lying and taking his cash, but you needed to find out what was going on already, and so when you walked into the store with your head down, you made a straight line right to the feminine care isle.

You decided on buying tampons anyway, just so he wouldnt be suspicious.

"okay ...okay" you took a breath and walked over to the pregnancy area, which was beyond weird. You had passed by similar isles at other stores, looking out of pure curiosity, never believing you would be in this position of the buyer.

You scoffed to yourself, looking at all the tests, "which one do I buy? whats the difference?" you whispered to yourself, looking over each box, remembering you had to be quick. You decided to go with HCG test strips since they were the cheapest, you put them in your basket and ran to go pay before tae or your mom decided to come check on you.

The lady checking out gave you a knowing look, "how old are you?" she asked, eyeing the tampons and pregnancy tests.

You felt insulted, not because she assumed you were young-which you were- but because she was just asking and felt it was okay to do so.

"old enough, lets hurry this up"

You paid and grabbed the bag, making a sprint back to the coffee shop where your mom was just sitting down with taehyung- you made it.

"heres your drink" she smiled, "thanks mom"

you sat down next to taehyung, your heart was in your throat.

"I told her you ran to get concealer" he whispered in your ear, an attempt to save you some embarrassment

"oh, thanks" you grinned, brushing your foot against his.

A few hours later, the sun had started to set as you all returned home- your mother went to her home office to finish a quick work call as you and taehyung hung in the kitchen.

"im glad you can enjoy it now" he smiled, scooping another bite last nights cake onto a fork and feeding it to you

"yeah me too" you hummed, eating it before he kissed you quickly

"my moms in the other room" You scolded playfully, licking the frosting off the fork.

"so? we arent doing anything" he frowned, hugging you, "we cant do anything anyways-you got your period" he giggled

Oh yeah

"oh right" you laughed, taking another bite

His hands rested on your lower stomach, massaging gently. It was an act of cuteness but when you knew more than he did, it made you nervous.

"are you hurting?" he asked, kissing your shoulder

"no..." you blushed

maybe.....it wouldnt be the worst thing to parent with taehyung. He is so affectionate and caring, you know he would be the best partner and dad.....

You shook your head, trying to get rid of your current thoughts as you put the fork down.

You needed to end this now

"im...gonna shower ok?" you whispered, kissing his jaw

"want me to come?" he asked genuinely

"no no its okay, im gonna use my apple soap that you says burns your nose anyways" you giggle, walking away

"it does!!"

"mmhm"

You locked the bathroom door, placing the bag on the sink as you rummaged through.

"how the fuck does this work?" you whisper, looking over the box of the tests, "hm" you frowned and pulled one out, unwrapping it discreetly and going to use the toilet.

After you peed on the stick, your hand grew sweaty- it was becoming more real as the minuets when on.

While you waited, you took an actual shower to pass the time, fighting the urge to cry based on whatever result was on the stick just outside the shower.

You washed your hair and took your time before you wrapped up in a towel, shutting the water off.

it would be negative, right? you couldnt be pregnant, these types of things dont happen to you, these things happen to other but not you, you are probably worried about nothing...right?

Your mind raced as you sat near the sink, water still dripping from the towel.

"lets go y/n, whatever it is.....we are ok" you consoled yourself, rubbing your arm before moving to grab the test, your hands shaking furiously.

Suddenly everything youve ever done was questioned.

every choice youve ever made was doubted

Your confidence fell down the drain, and perhaps the years spent working and educating yourself are pointless.....maybe it wont matter after all....because theres two lines on the test.

You are pregnant.

You broke down sobbing, leaning against the wall as you slid to your knees, there wasnt anything to say, there wasnt anything to do. You were gonna have a baby and there was nothing you could do about it, nothing you say would erase the problem.

Your mother and taehyung sat downstairs, completely unaware of the anxiety attack you were dealing with just one floor above them.

"no no...no..." your hand fell to your stomach, gently caressing it.

You werent mad at the baby, you were mad at yourself. You suddenly felt responsible for the life growing inside you, but felt guilty over knowing you would never succeed at being a mom.

"im sorry.....im sorry im so sorry" you rubbed your stomach once more, whispering and apologizing in advance for the failure you would bring to this childs life. you havent even finished school, you graduate next year and now you are gonna have to drop out because paying for a newborn and tuition wont work, you will have to sell your car and old clothes

you will have to move somewhere cheaper, or grow small and confess to your mother that you cant get your shit together, and need to have a baby in her house for a few years until you are financially stable.

In your own mind, you were still a kid. You were a baby in the eyes of the world, and now everyone will shame you for what youve done, knowing you arent ready, but still expect you to carry on and raise another human being.

and taehyung.....hes gonna be happy....hes gonna love this, and you cant deal with it.

About an hour later, you had forced yourself to calm down as you made your way to his room, opening the door to see him laying on his bed.

"hi angel" he smiled, urging you to come over to him.

"hi" you spoke quietly, walking over to the bed and climbing in, hiding your face into his neck as you laid on him.

"everything alright?" he asked, rubbing your back.

tell him, tell him now before you back out, you wont ever do it if you dont tell him.

"we have to talk later" was all you mumbled, falling asleep next to him.

It blew your mind in a way, he had no clue about the fact he was a dad right now, yet here you were, falling apart by the seams. You wish you didnt know. You wish you were him, you wish this never happened in the first place.

From someone who knows basically nothing about Baldurs Gate......

Imma give my UNSOLICITED OPINIONS.

Karlach is the most consistent with her style. She looks great in everything. Shes also the hottest overall (no pun intended). Her personality is one of the cutest and the fact she doesnt seem to get that good of an ending is UH... CRIMINAL.

Best ship- ...//covers face and mumbles... I really like her relationship with the player... this is so unfortunate... but its so cute. I love her. (I know theres a couple endings where you can kill her. Those dont exist or Im calling the cops.)

Base model MEH, Camp model VERY cute, Panties.... ITS A CHOICE BUT ONE I BUY THAT HE'D MAKE FROM WHAT I KNOW ABOUT HIM. Also I dont believe for a MINUTE this man got a six pack why are you lying directly to my face... He reminds me of Dr Frank, I love his voice, I would never be able to deny him anything because hes really funny and I just wanna see him go crazy.

I couldnt even get through Dream Daddys.... and I love that game.

THEYRE BASED ON A REAL FAMILY (and the whole family has "im easily overstimulated" hair cuts, its so relatable)

It's cheesy. full of stuff you know is meant for kids and that corporate made them do. but I really liked it. I know the whole bit is that the family is weird. I don't really like that they used the word weird instead of autistic but i can kinda understand why they had to do it. i found myself relating the characters constantly. The way they run away when things get overwhelming, communicate through their interests, stim when they have big feelings (they all have their own, and most of them have a couple they do) and the way the situation their in affects them. It is not perfect representation but it did a good enough job for me.

10/10 for the fact once she showed up the show stopped treating kyouka like a possible ship for atsushi. 3/10 for the fact they gave her braces but when they needed her to be attractive they got rid of them ??? her design is 7/10, i like all her colors and shes very distinct, but she has the same issue as kunikida does with those big flyaway spikes that ernd up changing the entire hairstyle? just braids would have been fine. 9/10 for that incredibly cool but confusing power, also I just love her so much overall imma give her an 8/10

Nathaniel Hawthorne

im totally biased bc I liked the scarlett letter except for how much this man loved commas ANYWAYS this guys power is 10/10 freaking SICK I LOVE IT. 6/10 for the design its not bad but its very uhh .. monochromatic?? still cool and i get it might be because the red stands out but like give him one more red piece on his person. 10/10 for secretly being hoplessly in love with margaret?? I love it??? it reminds me so much of the book because of how hester and whatever his name was are super comfortable and sweet with one another in the forest and no one knows about them its peaceful and its fantastic ily nate overall 8/10 he seems like the kind of priest who would give free hugs at a pride parade

I'm watching star trek voyager so I'm gonna put my thoughts below & keep adding onto it (yes I'm going from tng -> voy & skipping ds9 for now at least even though I feel like I'm missing out on context bc trekkies seem to hold ds9 as like the gold standard of star trek but I watched a couple episodes & I just couldnt dig it)

the relationship of kes & neelix is so bewildering to me like what does she see in him like hes not even a bad person but he's just a lot dumber than her & has that "where's my hug" type guy energy also he's like so old not even in a sugar daddy way just in a boomer way like doesn't kes's species only live 9 years

I hope tom paris goes through some character development because as of right now he's soooooo annoying like referring to chakotay as an "indian" all the time......ugh one would hope we wouldn't still be doing that in the 25th century also I knew from seeing online discourse that chakotay's writing is stereotypical in a well intentioned but still badly-aged way & it's not ruining the show for me but whenever he closes his eyes & the panflute music kicks in I just sigh deeply

but now I'm rewatching the first couple episodes of because I honestly had no idea what was going on (I didn't even realize the doctor was a hologram until like halfway through season 1 & I didn't realize tuvok was spying on the maquis until like season 3) & one thing I have noticed is that NEELIX WAS SO FUCKING UNHINGED IN THE FIRST EPISODE LIKE HE COMES OFF LIKE HEATH LEDGER AS THE JOKER IN THAT SCENE WHERE HE VIDEOCALLS VOYAGER & STRUTTING AROUND THE TRANSPORT ROOM IN HIS PIMP COAT & ALL THE WATER STUFF LIKE WHO IS THIS MAN also belanna's makeup was so bad I'm sorry <\\\3

Taehyung and you had continued to watch movies throughout the evening, eventually moving back into your room to lay down, because you were complaining of back pain from leaning against the couch.

“Go refill this” You laughed and shoved the popcorn bowl into taehyungs chest. “God you are so aggressive, remind me why I decided to be your roommate?” He spoke louder as his footsteps led him into the kitchen. “Because I’m adorable, now shut up and be quick, I’m gonna pick my own choice of movie” you spoke, throwing the blankets over you and turning the lights off.

When taehyung had entered the room again he stood at the doorway and peered over at you, you looked so cute under a mountain of blankets, bangs hanging messily over your forehead as you appeared to be extremely invested in whatever was on tv. “What?” You spoke, looking at him as he walked over, he laughed and shook his head. “Why are we sitting in pitch black? Did we forget to pay the electric bill?” Taehyung sneered as you pulled him into the bed. “Aww are you scared of the dark tae?” He scoffed and sat down, pulling his body under the covers as well. “Don’t worry I’ll protect you” you joked and wrapped your body against his, leaning into his side. His breath hitched, silently cursing himself for feeling so awkward around you. He felt like he was the one making it weird.

A few minutes had past when he felt your eyes staring at him. “Are you not paying attention?” He asked, without looking down at you. “Oh, I’m paying attention....” you mumbled, finger picked up to drag along his jaw and across his nose, an action that you always did with him, but haven’t done for a while....for, well, obvious reasons. “Y/n” he spoke sternly, shifting uncomfortably, he couldn’t be the only one seeing the wrongness in this. He was laying in bed with someone else’s girlfriend, a girl he was IN LOVE WITH. You sighed deeply, hot air brushing against his neck as you pushed yourself up to his ear. “this movie is boring...let’s do something” You nearly whispered, tae wanted to punch himself for how fast he got hard. This was definitely wrong, no denying it. “Y/n...” he turned his head to you, and that’s when your lips met his. Taehyung would be lying to say he pushed away, how could he? You were the one in a relationship, technically he was doing nothing wrong!

Tae looked at the clock, it was 11:50, he only had a little over an hour to get ready. “Okay, let me know if you need help with anything” he spoke cheeringly as he left the kitchen, leaving you at the counter with Yeontan by your feet, attempting to catch droplets of food.

Taehyung showered and shaved, brushing gel through his hair after blow drying it. Now, he knows it’s weird to say he’s dressing to impress kaito, but that’s exactly what he’s doing, just not for the reason you’re thinking. He wants to basically show him up in typical taehyung fashion, perhaps make him jealous?

He rummaged through his closet before deciding on a blue Hawaiian shirt paired with black jeans.

Across the hall, you were panicking in the bathroom as you tried to straighten your hair but it only ended up looking flat and weird. “Stop being so....UGLY!” You whisper yell to yourself as you point to your reflection in the mirror. You ultimately decide to wet your hair so it can curl up again, opting for it to just be natural and messy. After throwing on makeup (you indeed did not just “throw on” makeup, you spent 20 minutes on eyeliner) you put on a white long sleeved shirt and put black overalls ontop, you looked cute you supposed, but you couldn’t help but wonder what you’d look like in taehyungs eyes. Was it wrong to want to be seen as prettier to him when your literal boyfriend was on his way over.

You walked out to the kitchen when you saw taehyung grabbing a beer out of the fridge, your mouth grew dry just seeing him. He looked like walking sex. “Thanks bubs” you smile, grabbing a water to cool your nerves down, at this point you couldn’t even pin point why you were nervous in the first place. “Are you ok?” You asked, eyes drawing to the fidgety boy in front of you. He shrugged and looked down, the guilt was eating him alive, “y/n, can we talk later?” He sighed.

You tilted your head, confused but willing. “Yeah? Are you ok th-“ you were interrupted by the doorbell, both you and your roommate sharing a frightful look.

You ran to open the door, adjusting your hair as taehyung stood behind you. “Hi!” You said sweetly as the door opened, your friends and boyfriend present with foods and drinks in their arms. “Hi baby” kaito spoke, walking in to press a quick kiss to your lips. Taehyung clenched his jaw and noticed how much taller he was compared to him. Not to be an asshole and make everything about masculinity, but he hated seeing his height. Kaitos eyes looked behind you to meet taehyungs, his body halting as taehyung just raised his eyebrows teasingly, a look that read “go on, say something”. You looked between both of them before speaking up, “kaito this is taehyung, my roommate and best friend, tae, this is kaito” you cheer, wrapping an arm around your boyfriend. “ I think we’ve met” kaito bit, “really?? When?” You peered up. “Oh somewhere at the coffee shop, I think” taehyung spoke, biting back a giggle as he walked away to meet your other friends.

“You look so good” You spoke, playing with kaitos hair as he kissed your forehead. “Thanks baby” he led with you into the kitchen.

He couldn’t even return the compliment to you? This only left you feeling insecure, checking your appearance in every reflection available.

“You have such a cute apartment you guys!” Your friend chaeyoung cheered, looking around at all the decorations. “I was gonna say, it’s perfect” dahyun added, moving to the wall of photos and smiling. “What are these?” She asked, you pulled away from kaito to walk over and look. “Oh this is from last summer when taehyung and I went on this Europe trip for his work, it was so fun and we even got to go to Paris for a night” you pointed at the picture of you and taehyung by the Eiffel Tower.

Taehyung stood in the kitchen, smiling to himself as he thought of how fun that trip was, it was just you two alone. Kaito looked and scrunched his face up, opening his beer before looking at taehyung. Would it be wrong for taehyung to say he found joy in how much your boyfriend seemed to despise him? Because he now had the urge to pull every string.

About an hour later, all of you had eaten, and now were sitting in the living room eating desserts and drinking wine, lost in random conversations. Taehyung impatiently tapped his foot against the other, waiting for you to come back out of your room you had fled to randomly 15 mins ago. “Where’s y/n?” Chaeyoung asked, frowning as she opened up the cinnamon bread, “she is gonna be back and hate me because this is gonna be gone” she pointed down at the dessert, earning a laugh from dahyun. “Just be patient” she pushed her, the two girls giggling as taehyung sat up and walked over to your door. Kaito watched him from the couch, scanning over him and paying attention to his actions.

Carefully, he knocked against your door, whispering into the frame. “Y/n, it’s me, can I come in?”

There was a moment of silence before you walked over and whispered, “yeah”. You stood back and watched the boy come in, him completely unaware your boyfriend was watching the whole thing as he shut the door behind him. Taehyung was taken back when he saw you “Why are you crying?” He asked softly, cupping your face and wiping your tears. You shrugged and sniffled, “it’s stupid” you sigh and look away. “Obviously not if it’s bothering you. You never cry” he pointed out. You bit the inside of your lip as you looked down at your feet next to his, he was right. You never cried, maybe it wouldn’t hurt to confide in him.

“Do you think I’m pretty?” Your voice spoke shakily. Taehyung scanned over your face, unsure how to approach this. “I don’t feel pretty” you shrugged, tears welling up. He couldn’t help but smile a little, “see! It’s stupid! You are laughing at me” You whined before he grasped your hand. “I’m laughing because how could such a beautiful girl say that about herself?” He spoke meaningfully. Your eyes looked up at his so softly he could have melted into the floor at that moment. “Do you actually think I’m beautiful?” You whispered. “Absolutely” he nodded and brushed your hair back, squeezing your hand as you leaned forward to hug him tightly, making him rock a bit before catching his footing. He wrapped his long arms around you and rubbed your back, head resting on top of yours.

“Can I come in?” Suddenly the two of you broke apart at the sound of kaitos voice by the door. You wiped your tears and looked over. “Are you ok?” He asked, eyes darting to Taehyung. “I am, let’s go have dessert” you grab his hand and lead him out of your room. Taehyung stayed in there for a moment to catch his breath, mentally preparing himself to go back into the living room.

If taehyung hadn’t known any better, he would say dahyun was flirting with him. “Honestly your skin is so fucking smooth, how do you do your routine?? Or- wait! I bet your one of those guys who just naturally have nice ass skin even though they wash their face with like a fucking bar of soap or some shit!” She laughed, moving practically into his lap as she examined every pore on his face. He beamed over at you, across at the other couch and sent a very telling ‘help me NOW’ look, you simply giggled, knowing dahyun pretty much did this everytime she was within 5 feet of a male. She’s always been boy crazy, but you still kept an eye on her while she was conversing next to taehyung. You knew in the back of your mind that the reason taehyung skin is so nice is well, because of YOU. You lend him all your products and even have occasional skincare nights, though, he would never admit it to dahyun. “Genetics” he shrugs.

As the next hour went on, more drinks were ingested and you all sat on the floor around the living room table. “Baby, did you know chaeyoung’s roommate moved out?” Kaito turned to you, hopeful eyes as he rubbed your lower back. “Really??” You turned your head to your friend, “yeah, she had to go back home and she actually dropped out I think” chae nodded. “Aww” you respond, kaito grabbing your attention. “You should move in with her! Wouldn’t that be fun!” He pokes you with his elbow.

This conversation grabbed taehyungs attention, looking away from dahyun’s phone where she was showing him pictures from her own trip to Europe. “Wha- why, why would she need to move out?” He panicked slightly, feeling anger at his sudden attempt to pull you away from him. Kaitos eyebrows raised as he looked at the boy across from him. “Because they’re friends?” He stated. “Ok? Y/N and I are friends too? We have been since we were 12. I think we are content living together” he laughed at the end of his words. You looked at taehyung sympathetically, appreciating his effort of defense but also warning him to not pick a fight like he tends to do everywhere he goes. “Plus chaeyoung is welcome over here anytime if she wants to” tae nodded. “Yeah sure, you’re friends, but it’s different” kaito adds.

“How so?” Taehyung chucked, “please enlighten me!!” He sat up.

“Tae” you warned, his eyes ignoring yours. “I’m just saying, I think she would be more comfortable with a female roommate” kaito sipped his drink as chaeyoung and dahyun watched with awkwardness. “First of all, you can’t speak for her. Second of all...Why? You don’t trust me? It’s not like we have sex” he casually said, your face turning to a red fire as you pounded your fist onto the table. “Stop taehyung!” You were in shock of his behavior, what the fuck was up his ass. Kaito looked taken back as well, watching the boy in front of him seem to lose his mind. “Or maybe it’s some excuse so you can have her all to yourself, here’s a little tip buddy, if you wanna keep a girlfriend maybe you should stop trying to be a control freak, also compliment her once in a while, it’s nothing off your back, you self centered asshole”

You stood up at his words, embarrassed that he would mention the reason of your tears earlier. You couldn’t tell if you were more ashamed of taehyungs actions, or the fact taehyung himself saw how unperfect you and Kaito actually were compared to what you’ve been telling him. “Enough!!!” You spoke shakily, tears brimming your eyes as you walked off, turning around to speak. “I’m sorry to end tonight like this, but please go home.” You sadly spoke, pushing taehyung and kaito away when they both approached you. “Get away from me!! Both of you!!” You shout, tears falling down your cheek in embarrassment. “You” your finger pointed at taehyung. “You are so much better than this!” He looked down in shame, he hurt you and he didn’t even realize it, he was being selfish. “And you” you pointed to your boyfriend. “Why would you even bring that conversation up? I’m quite happy living here, you just started a whole issue!!” You wipe your tears in frustration and turn to your room, everyone looking around as chaeyoung awkwardly walks out, followed by an angry kaito.

Dahyun grabs her purse and walks up to taehyung, who had been hiding and pushing down his tears. “It’s ok” she whispered, rubbing his arm. “Dahyun please, I’m sure you are a nice gi-“

“You love her.” She simply interrupted.

“What??” He was taken back, watching the girl in front of him speak. “You love y/n. And that’s ok” she comforted. “Go apologize to her, she’ll....come around” a soft smile and weak hug left her grabbing her coat and heading out, taehyung standing in confusion once the door shut. His eyes darting to the locked bedroom door that you were in, contemplating his entrance.

You paced your room, skin red and hot as you wiped your makeup off with a single wipe. You changed out of your days outfit and put on a shirt, that happened to be taehyungs, and sweatpants. You climbed into bed, sniffling as you laid against your pillow. Your phone rang with notifications from kaito, some messages asking wtf just happened, and others asking when he can see you again, this time without the others. You scoffed and threw your phone across the room.

You looked up at the ceiling before turning to your side, grasping one of your pillows and spilling tears into it. Your fingers ran delicate patterns on the side of the pillow, you wanted to pretend it was taehyung you were holding, inhaling deeply and pressing your head against the top of it. You felt guilty. For two things, actually. One, for yelling at taehyung. You knew he was a hot head and started getting angry and defensive when he was uncomfortable, you couldn’t blame him, the tension in the room could be cut in 4’s. The other was, well, the fact you currently wished to be cuddling next to someone who isn’t your boyfriend. Sure, you lied to taehyung about how great you and kaito were, but you didn’t want him to think you just picked the first boy who gave you attention. As the weeks have gone by, perhaps you realize you did just that. Maybe you weren’t ready for a relationship, maybe you pushed yourself into the dating world just to get taehyung out of your mind. You sigh deeply and sit up, looking at your appearance in a mirror across, hanging on the wall. You were a fucking mess, physically and mentally. You were going to just head back to bed but it’s then when you remembered how taehyung asked to talk with you this morning. You knew he probably wasn’t up for it anymore, but you didn’t want to leave him with a full chest to sleep on when he had an opportunity to talk with you. You peeled the covers back and tiptoe over to the door, opening it quietly.

He wasn’t in the kitchen or living room so you assumed he was in his own room.

You quietly walk over and knock on his door, when there is no response you worry, opting to creek the door a little and find him already passed out in bed. You looked down and shut the door. He never sleeps this early. Oh you felt bad....real bad. Making your way into the kitchen for a cup of water, you found a small sticky note attached to the edge of the counter. You picked it up and held it close, reading it.

“I’m sorry :(“

You let out an audible “aw”, sighing and beginning to feel emotional for some reason. You didn’t mean to hurt him, he’s probably sleeping with the assumption you hate him now. You made a mental note to speak with him first thing in the morning to clear things out, tucking the sticky note into your pocket and going back to bed.

Throughout the night, your mind raced of only taehyung. It was wrong to think of him like this....right?

Maybe you were the one in the wrong here. You clutched your head in confusion, you thought you were doing yourself a favor pushing taehyung out of the picture to focus on a relationship, but the truth is that you should’ve said something to him. You should’ve told him how you felt. You really can’t predict how he would have reacted, maybe he felt the same for you. You regret this with your entire body, You loved taehyung, and you hated yourself for it.

Perhaps it was kaito you needed to talk to instead.
