A lil talk abt Jennifer and Fiona

Note: this was originally planned to be posted on twitter, but due limits ill do so here. Not my usual kind of post but I planned to share my views around media on this site too more so... ill start here with this aha.

A mutual of mine recently posted an amazing artwork of Fiona crying blood and... that made me re-think a lot around Haunting Ground, especially on Fiona. During these troughts i felt a lot so many ideas, like "something is missing on this game" and I think i realized what is... a moment of true anger, sadness... a moment of "THATS ENOUGHT".

Let me explain a little bit using my beloved Rule of Rose as an example: When Jennifer discover what Wendy did to Brown (especially after we saw her dealing with all the Aristocrat Club "games"), she vent and fast to having a little "rage" on the matter. She put all her negative emotions on Wendy, making the Red Princess "feel" her entire true and crude emotions about what she felt because of her "stupid little club of nobles". This moment is knowed and considerated by many the most iconic of Rule of Rose and i feel there is a good reason why, with Jennifer we experienced her pain and that "thats enought" scene was needed for her and us to go into a moment of "leave" and "move on" such horrible mess. What i learned by more than 20 years of life is we all have limits, and Wendy did managed to "wake up" Jennifer ones.

After all of this you might wonder... what about Haunting Ground? Well, thats what i feel is missing with Fiona... lets thinks about it. Like Jennifer, she losed everything (not really due she still have Hewie compared but listen) and... i kinda wished it was more explored with her parents this feelings. I do feel this game did in a way "robbed us" on not giving Fiona a moment of she processing all the hell she withness and well... reacting on a pretty negative matter about it. Im not saying all games needs to follow a specific step, simply i do feel Jennifer felt more real around the idea of "losing everything you love" over the simple fact she goes and we see it in our eyes how the world (and Wendy) were unfair to her. I truly wished something "complete" was given as well to Fiona. She have Hewie yes but idk, maybe im asking too much? Who knows.

Btw i want to be clear how i love dearly both Games. They are my favourites from the PS2 era, simply I wanted to share some lil troughts I had in my mind about something I truly wished was explored more in Haunting Ground. What you think about it?

THE MOVIE “ORPHAN” IS ABSOLUTELY FUCKING DELUSIONAL HOLY STARS / (TW death, extremely personally stuff. this is a horror movie btw) explanation << honestly just a rant of said movie:

Its about this family who lost a baby at birth, there are two kids one is mostly deaf. The father and mother want to adopt an orphan. soon Kate (the mom) finds out that this orphan is extremely dangerous to her actual children. Esther (orphan) is a crazy ass bitch who has murdered several people with families, she tries to seduce each father she was adopted into AND THANKFULLY NONE WORKED OUT. after it all didn’t work, she got pissed off and legitimately burnt their houses down to the ground after brutally murdering the father. ESTHER TURNS OUT TO BE 33 INSTEAD OF NINE AND SHE COMES FROM AN ASYLUM. SHE WAS THE MOST VIOLENT PATIENT IN THAT BUILDING this movie had me recoiling dude its so insane it drives me crazy like BRO POOR MAX (DEAF KID) SHE HAD TO EXPERIENCE ESTHER KILLING A NUN AFTER SHE WAS PUSHED IN FRONT OF THE NUNS CAR. she wasn’t hurt at all from the car thank the stars but that will sure as hell have an impact on her trauma. Max saves her mom and brother from dying but sadly saw her DUMBASS OF A DAD DIE tbh dad deserves that death idc abt him he was stupid as shit☠️. Esther held a gun right at Max’s forehead that was loaded just so she would strike even more fear into her. I HATE ESTHER!!!!!!! I HATE HER SO MUCH SHE IS JUST. UGHH SHE ENDED UP HAVING HER NECK SNAPPED AND DROWNING IN A POND I’M GLAD ESTHER DIED. NOT TO MENTION ESTHER BURNS DOWN DANIELS (THE BROTHER) TREEHOUSE WITH HIM AND THE NUNS DEATH EVIDENCE IN IT. DANIEL SURVIVES SOMEHOW BY OPENING THE TREEHOUSES WINDOW AND CLIMBING TO THE ROOF. BRO ESTHER WAS WATCHING THE WHOLE FUCKING THING WITH A SMILE ON HER FACE ‘N DANIEL ENDED UP HAVING TO GO TO THE HOSPITALLLL ESTHER ALMOST HAD KILLED HIM WITH A BOULDER BUT MAX RUSHES IN AND BARGES INTO ESTHER FUCK YOU ESTHER KYS KYS MAX IS BETTER THAN YOU AND SHE IS LIKE 7 KYS ESTHER MAX IS AMAZING AND SMART

⚠️DC vs Vampires #12 Spoilers⚠️Random ending feeling talking

So let's talk about the ending. Straight to the point, I didn't really get the purpose of the end. Barbara takes the throne and becomes the new lead, then leave humanity to what… hope? You mean Kara? Ok now it looks like you suppose to write an 800 words essay but you notice the topic after you have done 750 words already, and the topic is "Dawn of DC".

Honestly, I don't know why DC wants to make every elseworlds connected or slightly stick to the prime world. It's not officially said that DvV is connected to the main story, but the ending title "Dawn" gave me the first thought of it. And have a look at the neighbor issue <Dark Knight of Steel>, it is labeled as Earth-118 in <Dark Crisis Big Bang>. Who knows what's next on the menu?

Back to the #12 story itself. As a DickBabs fan, I can not say I didn't enjoy the bittersweet content between my two sweet potatoes. Dick Grayson looks stunning in his dramatic leather coat that we have seen several times and I still wanna thank whoever designed this for him, you did a gods job.😇 Babs on the other hand very predictable, she tricks Dick with a soft point and makes her "feed Grayson anything he never looks what he eats anyway" plans work. To me, it's quite disappointing that the story ends in a lover's way but the family's way. As I said earlier, this story begins with Batfamily. The tragedy caused by Dick's family, it will be perfect if it ends with the family (Damian). That will be the lesson you learn to go with your brain but your kidney.

We have two characters who got their one-shot issues, Harley and Damian. Harley played her character as the poison blood, very important very badass. But what does Damian do? He fights Grayson once and in the end he just… waits downstairs? Damian should be a more useful character in the final battle.

If anyone remembers there are a few interesting foreshadowing such as bringing back Bruce with Lazarus Pit and magicians trying to reverse the vampirism. I was kinda looking forward to those contents but they just snapped.🥲 (You don't even give Bruce a proper burial?? Look at his half and broken body.🥲)

Another unbearable fact, don't wanna be rude but what's wrong with all the guys in this story? Half of them were torn apart with one take, good guys are keep sacrificed for protecting the big guns. Even Superman can't stand till last. (Where the hell did you get the Kryptonite sword? Batcave? And I was hoping Supes will stand by Dick's side or something? That will be cool.)

Let's see the big guns. We got:

Barbara, Kara, Starfire, Harley Quinn, Mary, and Jayna. All girl's power, I'm not blaming anything, but Grayson are you keeping all the badass manpower to yourself but your family and… Green Arrow? What's on your mind?🤔

Let's just say, I will give 6.5/10 for the whole DC vs Vampires arc. The story is twisty, the storyline is brave, and has some not-so-good character personality writing. Mainly because it brings out too many characters at once and can't focus on the group of its skeleton. We got a very handsome (but not so smart) Dick Grayson as Vampire King and let him be taken down by his lover. Old clich but suited for the dramatic. I still kinda want Dick to win the battle. Anyway, it's a good year for Nightwing fans and DickBabs fans already. Thanks for listening to my Ted Talk.

So now that it's also a short, I guess I should explain how it came to be. Okay so back in like February me and East were talking about his skin and 3rd life and stuff, and she pointed out that his skin has always been Captain America or similar... So my brain decided to have that image pop into my brain. I made it as soon as I got home, sent it to the group, and got told to put a meme on it. Ended up being doge. And that's how we now have SolidariPecs. Oh and then we made the 2nd as well as East making a gif featuring Sausage and Scott. So we have the original, a 2nd version, a gif, and a still of the gif (tho I think that's only in our discord server). Oh and the "SFW" version
