I just- wish to request forced cuddles from huggy wuggy after a chubby fem reader comes into the factory searching for answers about the factory 🥺💜

The creatures arms tighten around you as you shake and brokenly sob. You’re terrified, face pushed into the large sentient toys chest as it breathes heavily and holds you still.

“You- you can’t let them do this! Please!” You cry, at first scared for your life but now, you understand. This whole company doesn’t need to be standing, they deserve to crumble to the ground for what they’ve done.

Huggy Wuggy is one of the reasons the company should be destroyed. Alive, hurting, a monster made from twisted experiments against its will. You were both horrified yet angered beyond belief, but all you could manage was tears.

The tortured soul only hugs you closer, it’s faux fur soaking in your tears as you can’t do anything more than that. Cry. What are you supposed to do? Tear this apart yourself? And be killed by those responsible or be seen as a liar with no outside help?

It’s an impossible task. You’re absolutely helpless. Powerless. Standing in the ruins of a mad man’s desires and there’s nothing you can do.

Huggy makes a shushing noise, lifting you up with ease as he begins dragging his legs through the dimly lit rooms and halls, some toys skittering by in fear. Of whom you aren’t sure, but from what you’ve found out, you wouldn’t blame them for seeing you as the monster here.

You rub your face into his chest again, fight leaving you entirely as you breathe out in exhaustion. “They can’t keep doing this” you croak, knowing you won’t get a response. The being doesn’t say anything, just a deep rumble from its chest as it’s movements come to a halt.

The silence spoke for you. Huggy was just as helpless to stop the mayhem as you were.

The sentient stuffed giant lays down on a pile of discarded fabric and stuffing, keeping you in his embrace as you try and comprehend everything you’ve investigated thus far. You weren’t anywhere near done with your job, but could you handle even more? With the disgusting files you’ve uncovered and videos you’ve seen, you weren’t sure.

Huggy knew this. He knew you were too soft to handle what the company has done and he didn’t want anymore hurt to come to you. It’s why he chased you initially, wanting to scare you away from this place so you wouldn’t be sucked in and turned into an unholy abomination like him.

But seeing your break down, he decided he would do what he was made to do.

He’d hug you. Whether or not you wanted it didn’t matter, it was clearly something you needed.

Seeing the depravity of the human mind, anyone would need to fall apart at that. Huggy is here to soften that blow when you come falling to your knees.

I was thinking about which toys would eventually move out of the farm house, but I think that anyone who moves out is probably just to study, and then comes back as soon as it is all said and done. Partially because being a living experiment may feel alienating, but mostly because being with the big toy family is just what feels right for them. Even Bubba or Miss Delight always come back whenever they decide to study or research something, and I don't see many of the other toys getting married or having a human partner for them to want to have their own space elsewhere.

It’s Play Time!

[TWST AU]: An MC/Yuu from the Indie Horror Game, Poppy Playtime.

[Synopsis]: In this timeline, a special little toy takes on an adventure through Twisted Wonderland.

Gender Neutral MC/Yuu (They/Them)

[(A/N)]: I saw someone mentioned the game mixed with an MC/Yuu. I’m writing my own interpretation as an AU and basing some from theory videos on YouTube. Credits goes to the anon on @/twistedoverbloat’s blog.

Back in their world, MC/Yuu was one of many researchers and other scientists working for Playtime Co.’s founder/creator/CEO, Elliot Ludwig.

They had an accident at the lab, causing them to be unconscious. MC/Yuu should have be taken to the hospital, but Ludwig and everyone decided to use their body for experiments; turning into a living toy as the size of Poppy.

This pushed them off the edge and decided to escape the lab so they can turn themselves in to the police and hopefully an investigation starts and prevent more experiments.

Then one day at the factory, Experiment 1006 escaped and caused a massacre. Since then, the factory was left abandoned with haunting memories.

After decades of being trapped within the factory’s walls, PP!MC/Yuu roamed through the halls, avoiding the other experiments as they’re on the loose. (They can also recognize them as one of the people working on the toys.) Of course they missed a step and fell into the abyss.

Waking up, they found themselves trapped in a coffin until Grim blows open the lid. They both scared each other.

“Unbelievable. An actual talking cat.”

“Who ya callin’ a cat, doll-face?!”

“Hey! It’s not my fault I got stuck in this body! I never ask for it!”

Then Crowley came to find the missing students. PP!MC/Yuu and Grim hid behind the coffin, waited for “that strange bird-man” to leave.

After he leaves, the two decided to follow him.

They were led to the a room filled with people in dark cloaks.

Just as Crowley was informing the Dark Mirror about the absent student, PP!MC/Yuu decides to speaks up.

“Excuse me! I think you’re looking for either one of us.”

Everyone looks down at the living toy.

“I know what you’re thinking. It seems weird to witness a living child’s toy and to be honest, I don’t know how you will react to me standing before you.”

Dead silence. Not a word spoken until Crowley breaks the tension.

“Are you supposed to be the missing student?”

“A student? I already graduated from my university. Honestly, where am I and how I got here?”

After the dorm sorting ceremony, Crowley kept asking PP!MC/Yuu with more questions.

“You’re telling me, I’m stuck in this world filled with magic? Like real magic?”

“Well, Night Raven College is one of the most prestigious academies in Twisted Wonderland.”

“…So like H*gw*arts?”

“What?”

Then after the misunderstanding is cleared up, Crowley “promised” to find their way back home. Until then, it seems PP!MC/Yuu has to stay in the Ramshackle dorm and might as well find a way to survive attending NRC.

Bonus: PP!MC/Yuu wants to keep Grim by their side as a student too because…

PP!MC/Yuu: He has nowhere else to go. Pleeeease let him stay. *Activates big teary puppy eyes*

Crowley: *Can’t resist the eyes* Fine, fine! That raccoon will stay.

PP!MC/Yuu: Alright!

Grim: Again, I’m not a raccoon!

[Main Street]

Ace: *Laughing at PP!MC/Yuu* You’re so small!

PP!MC/Yuu: *Kicks his shin hard*

Ace: Ow! Whatcha do that for?

PP!MC/Yuu: Just because I’m small doesn’t mean I can kick shit.

[Cafeteria]

[PP!MC/Yuu was telling stories of their old life.]

PP!MC/Yuu: I was an 90s kid. I remember one toy that gave me the creeps. Her huge hyper-realism eyes and stretchy limbs. Oh god, she’s nightmare fuel. When I started working at the company’s labs, my instincts were right after seeing the living being of childhood trauma.

Grim: Are ya gonna eat that? *Points at their food*

PP!MC/Yuu: You can have it. I don’t have to eat to survive as my digestive system is wired differently.

Deuce: So you never tried leaving your workplace?

PP!MC/Yuu: I have, but they caught me every single time. The final attempt was on the day one experiment escaped. I’ll never forget the screams of the co-workers.

Ace: *Lost his appetite* Did you have to tell these stories during lunch?

PP!MC/Yuu: *Shrugs* You were curious about my life before coming here, so yeah.

[Alchemy Class]

PP!MC/Yuu: *Brews the exact potion*

Crewel: Good job, puppy. You brew the correct potion for today’s assignment.

PP!MC/Yuu: Oh, it’s nothing. I was a researcher back home so it was easy to start. Especially familiarizing herbs.

Grim: Yahoo! We did it! *His tail swished accidentally knocks them off*

PP!MC/Yuu: AHH-! *Falls into the cauldron*

Crewel: *Sighs* I will start brewing a reversal potion.

[In the hallways]

PP!MC/Yuu: Listen here you…I can’t talk like this. Can someone pick me up?

Jack: *Lifts up PP!MC/Yuu to meet Sebek’s eye level*

PP!MC/Yuu: Thank you, Jack. Now listen here, you offensive cabbage-head!

Sebek: *Offended by the nickname* EXCUSE ME?!

[P.E.]

PP!MC/Yuu: Magic broomsticks? It’s one of many things I wished for as a kid.

Epel: Hop on. I’ll show you the tricks to riding one.

PP!MC/Yuu: Okay!

[Minutes later]

Epel: *Lands back on the field* How’d like your first ride?

PP!MC/Yuu: *Clenching onto Epel’s shoulders* NEVER FLY ME UP THERE AGAIN!

Epel: HUH?!

[Mini Lore: They discovered flying on magic broomsticks is not as fun as what H*rry P*tter did back in H*gw*arts.]

[Botanical Garden]

PP!MC/Yuu: *Walking by*

[Then PP!MC/Yuu hears a sounds of a crying child. They walked faster to find the source and sees the kid sitting on a bench bawling his eyes out.]

PP!MC/Yuu: *Walks towards the child and looks up* Hey, little one. Are you okay?

Cheka: *Sniffs and looks down* Hm?

PP!MC/Yuu: ‘It seems he’s calming down.’ I’m MC/Yuu. You look very sad. Tell me why you’re crying and maybe I can help you.

Cheka: *SNIFFS* I-I got lost and can’t find Oji-tan… *Tearing up again*

PP!MC/Yuu: ‘Oji-tan?’ Oh! Don’t cry anymore, little one. I see you’re looking for someone. Could you tell me who is the person you’re supposed to be with? Like hair color, eye color, or other features.

Cheka: My Oji-tan is tall, green eyes and has dark long hair.

PP!MC/Yuu: Leona? You’re looking for him. I think I know where he is.

Cheka: *Wipes his tears* Really?

PP!MC/Yuu: Of course!

Cheka: *Grabs PP!MC/Yuu and runs off to find his Oji-tan*

PP!MC/Yuu: Whoa! Wait!

Cheka: We are coming, Oji-tan!

[An hour later]

PP!MC/Yuu: Leona! How could you leave your nephew behind?

Leona: Oh, hey.

PP!MC/Yuu: Cheka was lost around the school and I was the one who found him. I mean where are his parents or some guardian?

Leona: Cheka wanted to see me.

PP!MC/Yuu: Okay, then where’s the responsible adult?

Leona: You.

PP!MC/Yuu: What?

Leona: You found him and since you claimed to be an adult. You’re looking out for him.

PP!MC/Yuu: *Grits their teeth in anger* Leona…

Cheka: Then can I play with you?

PP!MC/Yuu: Now wait a minute-

Leona: Of course you can. After all, they’re fun to play with.

Cheka: YEAH!

PP!MC/Yuu: LEONA!!!

[Then Cheka proceeds to play with PP!MC/Yuu during his stay. PP!MC/Yuu just thinks of bashing Leona with a toy hammer.]

[Heartstabyul]

PP!MC/Yuu: Back in my time, there wasn’t any smartphones or tablets you guys have now. I had a Nokia and other pagers for my old job. Now, ever since Crowley gave me a phone when Holiday Break started, I’m still unfamiliar with the technology.

Cater: Aww. Are you asking Cay-kun for his help?

PP!MC/Yuu: Yes, please. I only know how to texts others and I need to catch up.

Cater: Of course! I’ll show you everything you need for your phone. You can ask me anything.

PP!MC/Yuu: Alright, quick question. What is “IDGAF”? Ace texted those letters in a group chat he created for the first years.

Cater: Oh! That’s a bad phrase you don’t want to know.

PP!MC/Yuu: Cater, I’m an adult trapped in a toy’s body. What is it?

Cater: I don’t give a fuck.

PP!MC/Yuu: …Well, that was rude.

Smiling Critters HCs!

( Mostly Dogday and Catnap )

I’ve gotten interested in Poppy playtime, especially with the smiling critters and me and my sister literally just came up with random hcs and scenarios for them if they had a cartoon. So now I’m sharing the ideas.

Catnap always sleeping.

Dogday and Catnap are the main characters of the show, but Dogday is the only one who is actively committing the role.

( Not to be confused with this being a thing where they are acting in the show or anything. Like, they’re literally just in the show. If that makes sense )

Catnap, in every episode, is either sleeping, observing what’s going on and not really participating that much, or not in the picture in that episode. In this is just something with every episode of the series.

He can sleep automatically, just drop to the floor and knock out. So I feel like he’d use that ability to his advantage, to get out of trouble.

Scenario: Miss Delight comes into the critter’s playroom (?) and asks if anyone ate the last of the cookies and milk without permission.

Everyone is confused, because they’re all saying they didn’t do it. So they just assume someone’s lying, and they argue about it.

Catnap’s asleep somewhere in the corner.

He was sleepy before, but he made himself look busy with napping so nobody would suspect he ate the cookies and milk.

2. Copycat ( Literally an episode name me and my sister created. We are the best brainstormers ever ).

Dogday and the rest of the smiling critters are always trying to get Catnap to play with them/participate in what they are doing.

I imagine Catnap as one of those characters in cartoons that are semi-nonverbal, and just aloof, definitely. So he doesn’t speak much. He can, just doesn’t.

This is an early episode, apart of S1 or something, when they still haven’t heard Catnap say much of anything to them. Sure he plays with them sometimes, but the instances are little to nothing.

They’re in a park for recess, the smiling critters are just playing around with each other and everything. Catnap is in a tree trying to sleep.

And like in literally every episode/day, Dogday notices that Catnap isn’t hanging out with them, so he and his friends goes up to the tree and calls for him.

They all keep calling Catnap’s name, trying to get him to join their game of tag. And little do they know Catnap is kind of tired of their sh** and noisy pestering.

“Hey Catnap, come down and play tag with us!” - Dogday.

Catnap finally turns around to acknowledge the critters, looking down at them from the tree.

“Hey Catnap, come down and play tag with us.”

He purposely mimics what Dogday says.

And Day just replies with a small ‘what?’.

The critters all look at each other, swearing they just heard Nap speak.

“What did you say, Catnap?” - Kickin Chicken.

“What did you say, Catnap?”

Now the critters are actually shocked.

“Catnap, did you just speak?!” - Bobby Bearhug.

”Catnap, did you just speak?!”

He does this enough times to confuse everyone now. And then they actually start to get weirded out and they call Miss Delight.

”Miss Delight, Catnap is acting strange!”

Then Nap walks in suddenly, staring at all of them ( Kind of creepily ), as he says,

“Miss Delight, Catnap is acting strange.”

This continues for the whole episode. Just him copying what his friends say. But ONLY if it mentions his name. Because he’s tired of them always calling his name anyway.

I don’t know how the ep might end, but the smiling critters still bother Nap after the episode his over, and as he has already stopped with the copycat game. That is also deemed as the first time in the show that Catnap has spoken. Not the last, obviously, he continues to talk whenever he needs to, but it’s still kind of seldom.

3. Dogday’s allergies.

Dogs can’t eat a lot of things, so I think Day would not be allowed to eat a lot of things like a realistic dog.

It’s an episode where the critters are enjoying themselves during a picnic, Delight isn’t really around because it’s not a school day.

Picky Piggy offers some cookies to everyone that she made herself, and everyone takes one. Except for Dogday.

His excuse is that he oddly always feels sick whenever he eats chocolate chip cookies specifically, so he doesn’t try to eat cookies much.

Picky just pulls out another cookie flavor, oatmeal chocolate chip, and gives it to Day.

Day takes it, thinking that since this isn’t chocolate chip, it wouldn’t make him feel sick!

After eating two of those cookies, he does in fact feel sick. His stomach hurts and his bones exhaust.

Miss Delight makes him feel better with some special stomachache medicine or something.

All of the critters are confused and curious about this, so they try giving Day other cookies because they think not being able to eat cookies is just devastating.

So the whole episode they all make Day taste different cookies, to see which ones make him sick and which ones don’t. Not like an experiment, just to figure out why can’t he eat cookies like the rest of them.

At the near end, Day feels terrible, and they all go to Delight this time, enlightening her about the cookie problem.

And it instantly clicks to Delight once the children tell her what kind of cookies they’ve been giving to Dogday. M&M, double chocolate, cocoa confetti, and even red velvet cookies.

“Children…. You know, dog’s can’t eat chocolate, right?” - Delight.

They all did, in fact, not know that. Miss Delight tells them about it, and they finally understand why Dogday keeps feeling sick when eating cookies.

By the time Day’s also came to the realization, he vomits, the episode ends.

The next one is probably about Day’s friends taking care of him because he’s sick.

Which leads to my next hc anyways.

4. The conclusion of Dogday that Catnap doesn’t like him.

The reason why Dogday thinks that Catnap doesn’t like him, is because it somehow always seems like Nap is trying to kill him.

One of the instances, he’s always giving Day things he can’t eat.

Literally right after the cookie accident, only two days later, and Catnap gives him a treat of chocolate chip cookies. And milk. Both things Day cannot eat.

Scenario: The smiling critters are having breakfast together, in Miss Delight’s house as she makes them pancakes, eggs, bacon accompanying with vegetables and fruits of their choice.

Nap is sitting next to Day. He has pancakes and purple grapes, he loves grapes. Day has bacon and blueberries, giving that he’s not allowed to eat pancakes ( Diary ) and blueberries being his favorite.

Nap decides to be nice, and give Day some of his food, since he heard from Delight that sharing is caring.

He gives Dogday a grape to show kindness.

And Day only looks at the grape kind of confused. He asked why Nap would give this to him, and Nap doesn’t answer.

So Day just gently placed the grape back on Nap’s plate, telling him ‘no thank you’.

Then a minute passes, Dogday looks over at one of his friends for a bit of a second, and turns back at his plate to get another blueberry.

He sees a blueberry bigger than the others that wasn’t there before. It’s actually purple and not blue.

And oh. It’s a grape.

He turns to Catnap, and sees that the cat is only happily eating his pancakes and grapes. But still gives the fruit back to Nap.

“Sorry, bud, I can’t eat this..”

Catnap looks at him, and doesn’t say anything.

Dogday still side glances at Nap for a little while, to see if he’d do anything. Nap doesn’t do anything. He looks back at his plate. And is utterly bewildered on why all of his five blueberries are gone and why they’re now five purple grapes.

He swears Catnap did not move.

He doesn’t know that Catnap just used his long tail to put the grapes there.

Now he can feel Nap’s eyes on him, and knows he’s expecting him to eat the grapes, so he’s a little nervous.

Day doesn’t eat the grapes, and just tells Miss Delight that Nap keeps trying to get him to eat grapes.

Also, after the cookie accident, Miss Delight thought it was good to teach the kids about what their kinds ( Their animal kinds ) can and cannot eats especially dogs like Day.

Catnap was not listening the whole lecture, so he really has no clue why Day didn’t take his grapes.

warning ; slight cussing, reader is hispanic coded bc ya girl is hispanic ‼️🙏🏼, based on the CARTOON versions of the smiling critters, different scenarios with each character, no children death just a lot of sillies :3

DOGDAY , MOVIE NIGHT

“are you sure the popcorn isn’t burnt?” you asked while holding up a greasy bag of popcorn, that clearly had a burnt smell to it. you were wearing your typical pajamas, a [f/c] ]f/a] themed jumper. dogday on the other hand was wearing a dog themed jumper, complete with fuzzy orange socks.

dogday nodded excitedly, taking the greasy popcorn out of your hands. “of course! everything is perfect!” he turned on the heel of his feet, turning around and walking towards the cushion fort the two of you made.

you were confused, but shook it off, putting in another bag of popcorn.

dogday caught wind of your birthday coming up, and planned a one-on-one play date with the two of you, since recently he has been more busier than usual. plus, he always love spending time with you!

fluffing up a pillow, dogday laid down, getting comfortable in his spot, his tail wagging and you made your way towards him, your own personal bag of popcorn in your hands.

“what movie would you like to watch?” he asked, grabbing the controller and looking at you, awaiting for an answer. you on the other hand, didn’t know what movie to watch. surely, there was plenty of movies to watch, but they suddenly just popped out of your head when the question was asked.

“hmm, what about [favorite movie]?” you responded finally. dogday nodded, turning towards the tv and putting on the movie, smiling as the two of you started munching on your goodies.

alas, your movie night began.

CATNAP , TEA PARTY

catnap was reluctant on the idea of a tea party, but with convincing with the help of dogday, catnap agreed.

the two of you were dressed in your sunday’s best. catnap went for a more casual look, having a pink bow tie tied around his neck, a bow being tied around the end of his tail. bobby gave him some white gloves, craftycorn gave him some necklaces to borrow.

you on the other hand, had a bow tied around your wrist, a bow being put in your hair. picky helped you style your hair, and kickin helped you become more confident.

the tea party was going to be held in his cathouse, which dogday and bubba decorated.

you and hoppy prepared tea, making some french goodies alongside it. you were excited for this little tea party, having it with one of your best of friends. it was also near the time of your birthday, so you were extra excited.

entering the cathouse, you were greeted by catnap, who was fumbling with his bow tie, seemly uncomfortable. “catnap!” you smiled, before giving him a funny look as he looked at you with a shocked expression.

“hey! uh ..can you help me?” catnap struggled, before you nodded. you didn’t want your friend to feel uncomfortable.

soon enough, the two of you were enjoying tea, snacking on chocolate chip cookies, and chatting your lives away. well, mostly you. out of the two, you were the more talkative one. catnap was the quiet one of the smiling critters, so it was surprising for the others for the two of you to become such best friends.

but, thankfully, the two of you are. cause you won’t be having this epic tea party if you didn’t!

HOPPY HOPSCOTCH , MOON CYCLES

hoppy has ever seen the moon before, you on the other hand, have. she always asked how it looked like, does it change, does it have a scent, etc.

“the moon has different cycles, like i think today it’s a full moon.” you explained, showing her a picture of the full moon today. hoppy looked amazed, her eyes widening and her eyes going up. you smiled at her, enjoying that she was finally able to be the moon.

“ah yucks, i wish i can see the moon for myself!” she responded, going back and landing on the pillow, making you giggle. you in return laid down on your stomach right next to her, the photograph still in your hand.

“it’s very beautiful! maybe i can take a videotape next time. i’ll make sure to show you.” you promised, sticking out your pinky for a pinky promise. hoppy smiled, taking out one of her fingers to establish the promise.

it made you feel bad that hoppy never seen the moon. you always seen how much she wanted to see the moon, always talking about it and learning about it.

you wished you can take her along with you, but your parents won’t allow you. also, hoppy is a 6’2ft mascot, and might make other people scared.

nevertheless, you explained the moon cycles to her, drawing pictures of them to visualize it for her. she enjoyed learning more about the cycles, and thanked you for showing her a picture of the actual moon.

hopefully, one day you can take her to the moon. the two of you can jump super high and reach the moon, planting a picture of the two of you, and come right back down. one day, you’ll make sure that dream comes true.

one day.

CRAFTYCORN , ARTWORK

the room was filled with bunch of laughter and smiles, it was of course, the art room. craftycorn was in charge of the art room, as she was the artistic one of the smiling critters.

thankfully, she had a helper, a kid named [y/n].

[y/n] was a artist from the day they were born, always making different artworks from different materials. if there was something, they could make anything out of it.

they enjoyed making art, and instantly became best friends with craftycorn, the two sharing their love for art.

“can you pass me the red?” craftycorn asked, scribbling on her paper. [y/n] nodded, getting up and walking towards the table, which contained different colored crayons. they grabbed the red one, turned around, and made their way back to where craftycorn was.

“here you go!” they said, giving them the red crayon. craftycorn smiled at them, taking the red crayon. she was drawing the two of them, using the red crayon to draw hearts all over the place.

[y/n] sat down, continuing to draw on their artwork — a drawing of all the smiling critters, them included. it was a huge project, and their hand definitely hurt. but, it was going to be worth it in the end.

soon enough, craftycorn was finished with her artwork, holding it up like it was a masterpiece. the other children caught wind of the finished art piece, and was quick to scatter towards her, wanting to see what she had created.

finally, [y/n] was finished. they smiled as they wrote their name near the bottom of the paper, holding it with such determination. they were proud of their artwork.

“that’s an amazing artwork, [y/n]!” craftycorn complimented, smiling as she realized it was her and the other smiling critters, alongside with [y/n]. she felt warmth creep its way into her heart, it was adorable.

“i hope you enjoyed it, i spent a lot of time on it.”

indeed, she and the other smiling critters enjoyed the masterpiece created by their dear [y/n].

PICKY PIGGY , BAKING

baking with picky was like a sport, it was easy!

picky had this cookbook that she liked to use. thankfully, you were able to read, so it was easy baking with picky, as she always had the ingredients on hand.

now, the two of you decided to bake cupcakes for the smiling critters, since they been craving some sweets for awhile.

“and now .. add vanilla!” picky said as you put some drops of vanilla into the cake batter mix, instantly being hit with the scent of vanilla. it smelled just like dogday.

picky read over the instructions as you poured the cake batter into the pan, making sure it was evenly distributed. it was rather a messy step, but with picky on your side, it was easy.

you were quick to put the cupcakes in the oven as picky sat on the countertop, looking at you, smiling. the two of you became friends over your love for baking, and picky’s live for eating.

you would always bake or cook for picky, as you wanted to improve on your skills. picky always gave you honest review, so you can improve better. it was a easy win for the both of you, you get better, and she gets to eat.

the two of you were in silence, looking as the cupcakes baked. it was a comfortable silence.

time was fast though, soon the cupcakes were finished. you put on your heat protective gloves, and took out the cupcakes, blowing on them to try and cool them down.

picky was jumping up and down, excited that the cupcakes were finally done. “okay, don’t touch just yet, they are still very hot.” you said as you took off your gloves. picky understood, but was still excited. she loved trying your cupcakes, something about them just make them melt in her mouth.

she loves when you bake.

BUBBA BUBBAPHANT , MATH HOMEWORK

you didn’t enjoy math.

you always stressed over it, cried over it, and also got mad over it. math was just not your brightest subject.

your best friend on the other hand, bubba, was a scholar on math. he always showed you how good his grades were on math, and always offered to help you.

but no matter how much he helped you, you never seemed to grasp on the concept of math in general.

“come on! it’s easy!” bubba groaned, looking down at the simple multiplication work on your paper. you on the other hand, was stressing out. you shook your head, to which bubba playfully rolled his eyes.

you groaned as bubba explained to you the basic of math, and how to do multiplications. you been over this plenty of times! you just can’t understand the concept of math!

“ughh .. at this point don’t even talk math to me!” that gave bubba an idea.

he quickly bought up 2 apples, “okay, there is two apples, correct?” you nodded. he bought up 3 apples, “now, there is 3 apples, right?” you nodded once again.

“now imagine each apple is 2 apples,” she pointed towards the 3 apples, “2 .. 4 ..”

“6!” bubba smiled. “correct!”

then it was like something clicked. bubba showed many other examples, and you got it right away. everything was suddenly making sense!

maybe math isn’t so bad.

BOBBY BEARHUG, VALENTINE’S DAY

valentine’s day was right around the corner, and you didn’t know what to get your best friend, bobby bearhug.

bobby’s favorite holiday was valentine’s day, she always loved the idea of love in general. in fact, that was how the two of you became friends.

you were giving out chocolates to your friends, and you had an extra heart shaped chocolate. you didn’t know who to give it to, until a certain bear came up to you, giving you a lollipop. smiling, you gave her the heart shaped chocolates, and the two of you became instant friends.

your friendship anniversary was coming up, and you were nervous. you didn’t know what to give bobby, as she basically already had everything.

but then, you had an idea, an expensive one.

2 week before valentine’s day, you were working your butt off for some cash. this was going to be an expensive gift, but it would be long lasting.

thankfully, you got some help from some of her other friends, getting some info on her favorite colors and favorite candies, everything was going to fall perfectly in place.

you made sure to give the person making the gift enough time, and made sure you tipped them accordingly. everything was perfect, and you were excited.

valentines rolled around, and bobby was trying to look for you.

“have yall seen [y/n]?” she was growing worried. today was your friendship anniversary, and she hasn’t seen you all day. she hoped you didn’t just ditch out on her, as she didn’t want to seem useless.

that was when one of the kids asked her to follow them, and as skeptical as she was, she followed nevertheless. they led her to a dark room, which scared her quite a bit. that was until the light turned on, revealing a surprising sight.

“happy valentine’s day!” you stood there, a ramo buchon in the color of her favorite color in your arms, some candies in your other. they were eternal roses, which meant they wouldn’t die out, which made it even more special. the other kids took pictures of the two of you.

this surely was going to be your favorite valentines yet.

KICKIN CHICKEN , ONE DAY

the playground was filled a lot of children, including bullies.

you hated bullies, especially since you have a few of your own. they always made fun of your hair and the way you spoke, which made you insecure about yourself.

that was until a kid named kickin chicken came to your rescue. he defended you from the bullies, and threaten to call the teachers on them.

he was like your guardian angel, and he was a chicken, so almost there.

“why didn’t you tell me?” kickin said with tears in his eyes as he patched you up. you were silent the whole time, not wanting to trauma dump on your friend.

“i didn’t want to seem weak.” you whispered, to which kickin sighed, taping your bruise. he looked at you with worried eyes, this was the 3rd time this weak you were sent to the nurse office, and kickin was always there to see you.

he gave you a hug, sighing as he heard you sniffle. you were always an emotional kid, which was probably one of the reasons they targeted you. kickin was sure to report those kids, they don’t deserve the cupcakes he’s going to bring on his birthday.

he wanted to tell you that you weren’t weak, but you would never believe him. he knew that you hated confrontation, so he never told you directly, but with his actions, he did.

“you’re a amazing friend, [y/n]. i hope you know that.” he said as the two of you hugged each other. you didn’t say anything, you didn’t want to believe what he was saying, but half of you know that he actually meant it.

you just hoped those bullies get the karma that they deserve, and that you won’t be bullied anymore.

one day, you’ll be a happy child. one day you’ll be able to smile without being scared of someone making fun of you. one day, you’ll be the best friend that kickin will always want you to be.

one day.

Bubba: "Not to worry, everyone. I can probably find a way out. Just give me a few minutes to make some calculations."

DogDay yawns. And being the leader, he tries to keep everything positive.

DogDay: "I'm sure we'll find a way out... We always do. At least CatNap is awake for this."

Bubba: "That's because he's nocturnal."

Hoppy: "He's what now?"

PickyPiggy: "Is that some sort of disease?"

Bubba: "What- no!"

KickinChicken: "Whatever it is going on, I wanna get out of here..."

Hoppy: "What, Kickin? Chicken?"

Hoppy found her joke funny while KickinChicken was a little offended. CraftyCorn notices CatNap staring at something in the dark.

CraftyCorn: "... CatNap...?"

CatNap mutters something. DogDay comes closer, feeling curious.

DogDay: "What was that, buddy?"

CatNap kept his eyes on whatever he was seeing.

CatNap, whispering: "... There's something there..."

one of my many goals in life will always be making children's horror

i dont think there has been any cartoon recently that really touches on horror topics, takes itself seriously and its directed at children, the last ones i can think of are genuinely Monster House(2006), Coraline(2009), Frankenweenie(2012) and ParaNorman(2012) and all of these are from when I was a child, the absolute DROUGHT in horror directed at children specifically is awful

there is a reason children are so attracted to horror topics and it's because children are curious of all this horrific things that happen to people and horror allows them to explore these topics in a safe way, from the safest point of view of things that never happened, fiction is the safest way to explore this kind of topics from

that's why things like fnaf, poppy playtime, rainbow friends(roblox map) and doors (also roblox) are so popular, because they can absolutely disengage from this in the blink of an eye, you can stop seeing this stuff by shutting off your electronics

you know what is the most popular thing among 7 year olds that i know??? fucking. siren. heads. why??? i have no fucking idea

and meanwhile i contribute a lot of things to the recent popularity of The Amazing Digital Circus (the animation lay offs, the fact that it has integrated audio switch for different languages and the fact that it just fucking slaps) we cannot ignore the fact that its becoming popular with the same public that fnaf was getting popular in 2014, children

do i think TADC is necessary horror? nope, it is a dark comedy, but holy shit that the concept is absolutely horrifying, it is a scary thing to happen and children would believe it could happen, like, back in 2014 i was 10 and i believed the purple guy was real and lived in my little latin american town

this and the fact that TADC looks so nice, has this amazing lovable characters, the acting is amazing and the bright colors that basically yell at you to look at it, children feel invited to watch it, even if they dont understand it

yk who of the kids i babysit liked it the most?? the six year old, she didn't understand shit and she loved it

and its because its an unlikely scenario and its safe to explore it, its safe to think about putting on a headset and end up in a game from before they were born

that's what has contributed to the rise of things like this through all this time, dark AUs of MLP, TMNT, TAWOG, etc, the idea of creepypastas, whatever the FUCK are ARGs the fact that its a safe place where you can explore horrible and scary subject from a curious stand point with nothing happening to you

TL;DR: children's horror is important because children need to satisfy their curiosity without being in danger

I watched the trailer for Poppy Playtime and made some theories. So let's go because I don't have anything important to do right now.

-> this house

As many people have mentioned, you can notice a Poppy doll statue on top of the house. Which makes us think that this would be the doll's house. but at first impression, I thought it was the place where the children slept.

because as we see later, the children's painting is in a place that looks a lot like a house. but to be honest, I believe that this house is an attempt to make children deluded, simulating a scenario with houses and trees so that they feel good, and feel as if they were outside. when in reality they are not.

but this house could also be a place focused on poppy, as she was probably recognized at daycare.

but I believe in two possibilities. The first is that this house is the same one where we have this room, with messy beds, objects thrown on the floor and a mysterious hole in the floor. The second possibility is the same as I mentioned before. The house is an attempt to simulate the outside of the factory, to give children a feeling of relief and comfort. Since drawings of trees and clouds are not enough to convince them.

but I truly believe that this house is just the resting place. because it makes more sense.

I didn't see anyone talking about it. So I decided to give my opinion on this thing.

and well, at first, I thought about the possibility of this thing being prototype 1006, as it contains several toys together. But upon closer inspection, I realized that this is just a sculpture, or a kind of temple. As a tribute, you know? And by the random way this is constructed, I believe this had been done by catnap himself, as a tribute or meeting point for 1006.

Because it's worth remembering that experiment 1006 is seen and worshiped as a god by catnap.

And I confess that this is my only guess about these dead toys. Because to me this really felt like a tribute made by catnap himself to show his adoration for 1006. But I'm not good at making theories, so forgive me if it seems weak.

ok ok, I confess that I was very moved by this scene. Because you can see this is a bigger body, more specifically a smiling critter. And if you look closely, the ears are the same as the dogday. So I started thinking about the possibility of this character being dogday.

But I believe that dogday will not be as close to a catnap as in the series, since the characters can be enemies during the game.

And I'm pretty sure it was Catnap who chained Dogday up, probably because he didn't agree with his plans, or didn't think it was right to hurt the other toys or follow the 1006.

and remember the voice saying "Catnap. The prototype is your god. And this is what he does to heretics."? The scene cuts to the smiling critter in a cage, proving that catnap traps and tortures those he considers heretics ( as is the case with dogday. And I believe that's why he's caged ).

I tried comparing some images, I noticed that these appear to be the same character.

and yes, this may seem stupid or pointless. But take a good look at his appearance. The ears are identical, the body appears to be incomplete, as it does not appear to have legs ( as can be seen in both images ). And he still has handcuffs on his wrists ( and the dogday in the first image is tied to the handcuffs ).

and well, focusing on this scene where dogday chases us through the tube, I started to wonder if he's really chasing us, or if he's actually following us after being freed from the handcuffs. But since I haven't reached a conclusion, I have three guesses.

first: dogday is chasing us, following catnap's orders to attack us. For the catnap itself threatens the smiling critters into working for him.

second: dogday is our friend, and he is following us after being freed by the player ( that is, he is on our side and will help us ). and will probably be the toy responsible for attacking and stopping Catnap at the end of the game.

third: catnap is controlling dogday, that's why he's chasing us like an animal.

and I believe in all three theories. but some people said that catnap has a cult following where all the smiling critters love the prototype, and that dogday is the only one that doesn't follow that idea. This is why naps are your enemy.

and also, there is a possibility that the red gas has a different effect on smilling critters, making them violent. and maybe that's why dogday is acting like this ( and this feeds into the theory that dogday is naturally calm ).

and this may not be important, but I noticed that this creature's hands are identical to dogday's hands in the second image.

and I believe the character in this image is dead ( and you can see the blood on his hands, as well as catnap on the floor, which would indicate that catnap killed him ).

and this makes more sense if we look at the sentence above them.

-> poppy and kissy missy

Well, from what I understand, both are on the player's side. and this is clear from the second chapter. but I confess that seeing Poppy and Kissy Missy together made me very happy. because this is proving that the two are on the same side, and perhaps following the same plans.

and looking closely at the image, you can see a kind of flashlight in Poppy's hand. and also, kissy missy seems to be holding something. perhaps her own arm is injured after struggling with a toy, or she is just holding an object.

random observation: the graphics are much prettier. especially in Poppy's appearance, as the doll seems to have more details in the hair region. and kissy missy looks different in a good and cute way

-> catnap

he walks like a real cat...that's freaking amazing and scary!!

Before this trailer was released, I imagined that Catnap would walk on two legs. but he walks like an ordinary cat, using his front and back paws. and that's not a bad thing, it's a really interesting way to show the character. mainly because he moves so calmly.

and so far we have no confirmation that catnap can talk ( and believe me, the fact that he can't talk makes the character even scarier. Because imagine that thing staring at you without saying a single word ).

and I'm not going to lie, I'm captivated by his bigger body shape. because look closely at his legs, it's as if the bones are crooked when being stretched.

and as a last guess, it would be interesting if the catnap increased in size in front of the player. because I'm sure it's not a pleasant scene, especially since he must squirm in the process.

I don't know if anyone has already talked about this. but I believe that these phrases in red are said by catnap

and an interesting detail is that the words increase in size as they appear on the screen.

TFP HORROR SCENARIOS

Transformers Prime X Poppy Playtime Crossover Potential

Based on a post I read from @sonicasura , I thought of a possible scenario where these two worlds could possibly meet.

What if one of the TFP humans had a connection to PlayCo. before the factory shut down and most of the staff mysteriously disappeared?

Specifically...June Darby.

June Darby was hired straight out of nursing school to be an onsight nurse hired by PlayCo. for its sponsored orphanage Playcare to see to the health and wellness of the children staying on sight.

While the idea of working at an orphanage based out of a toy factory seemed strange to a young June, she had a high amount of student debt and the company offered her a rather high salary despite her inexperience. So she applied and was taken in as both a nurse and caretaker for the children.

It was a comfortable position for the last few years, but still during that time June noticed things that began to unnerve her.

1. The amount of children seemingly going missing within the orphanage and the dismissive or defensive attitude the other staff and upper management gave when she gave her concerns. Stating that the children were obviously adopted out or just been assigned to another part of the orphanage😥

2. The appearance of the giant toy mascots that began to roam about the factory and the orphanage, who despite having a rather friendly attitude with the kids gave her chills at how animated they moved and spoke. Almost as if they were alive 😰

3. Than came the reports of strange creatures seen after closing and near death experiences from malfunctioning equipment, all of which the factory management ignored.

June would have left much sooner if she wasn't still trying to pay off her debts and save up for a car or house. Not only that she felt guilt over the thought of leaving the children. She promised herself she leave Playcare for good if anything major happened.

That choice was made for her though. As one day, an "incident" happened on a day she didn't show up for work . One that closed the factory forever and where June lost contact with her coworkers and the children who lived in the orphanage for years later.

With no idea what happened....until a letter arrived asking her to return to the factory if she wanted to find out what happened to everyone.

Maybe wanting answers and trying to dissuade any guilt she had for the past June decides to go, telling Jack and the others she was attending a work conference out of state. Giving a two day period of her absence. June didn't want Jack to learn this part of her past, so kept it hidden from him, leaving her son in the care of the Autobots.

Jack thought nothing of it...that is till June still hadn't returned at the agreed time period.

Unable to call her and frantic to know where she went, Jack looks around only to find the letter that June received. Determind Jack decides to travel to the old factory, with Miko demanding to go along. So reluctantly, he is joined by Miko, Raf, and Agent Fowler to try and find his mom. The bots lend their support where they can but unfortunately are too large to fully enter the factory, even Arcee could only manage to squeeze into the main lobby.

What awaits the group as they enter the factory are clues to a struggle, a chase, and to their horror clumps of blur fur and blood 😰

Additional/Potential Extra Angst:

1. Jack was born around the time June worked for PlayCo. between herself and another employee she married. And as a toddler was looked after at the Gamestation with the other staff of the children by Mommy Long-Legs. Given the same sinister test that helped the company decipher good canadit for their experiments. His assigned toy would have been Boogie Bot to keep with the TFP them, or potentially Bunzo Bunny. The day June didn't come into work, being sick at the time, his father took Jack with him for what was supposed to be an ordinary day of work and daycare.

That is till the "Hour of Joy".

By the time June heard about the incident that day and rushed over to the factory, she found Jack outside the lockdown factory with the few other children and staff who managed to get out. Catatonic and unable to speak, Jack couldn't tell her what happened and, in fact, blocked out the memory all together to save his mind from the trauma. The both of them never saw Jack's father again.

2. Jack was originally an orphanage in the factory who June was helping care for. June made the decision to steal him when she figured out Jack was chosen as a subject for the companies next upcoming experiment. Stealing him away from Playcare just before the night of the "Hour of Joy".

Poppy Worldwide AU Masterlist~!

Poppy Worldwide, also known as Save Everyone AU, is a different take on the events from Poppy Playtime. Instead of the player character/Angel simply going with the flow, they go out of their way to save not just Poppy, Kissy and Dogday, but every single toy they find. This Angel is haunted by the guilt of never being able to do anything in the 10 years since they lost their coworkers. They won't stand there and watch as more tragedy happens anymore.
