Woke up at 3am and then couldn't get back to sleep because apparently this essay was needing to spill out of my brain.
An Intersection of Philosophy, Psychology, and Rik Mayall
I woke up last night at 3am to get a drink of water. As I lay back down to sleep, I began thinking about what would later become the subject of this line of inquiry and, as a result, I could not fall back asleep for three hours. I later supposed that if this was of such significance to warrant such a quantity of lost sleep, that it was worth writing an essay about. If you, dear reader, are the…

HAPPY V DAY M HOPE YOU HAVE A LOVELY AMAZING DAY <3
YOU MADE MY FUCKING DAY RAGE, ILY 🤭😍💐💚🥳💛 !!! HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY TO YOU TOO DARLING :D
Have the loveliest of days, always forever more to come to you, rage!!! Mwah mwah hugs and hugs galore <3
Also :) my day is starting off so well. I’ve pulled an all nighter and watched 2 great movies/shows in the past 24 hours + one mid movie but it was interesting heh. (The great ones: Society of the Snow is phenomenal and brutal and tragic and horrific and amazing, based off a real story of people stranded in the Andes mountain range responding to cannabalims in order to survive— I highly highly recommend if you wanna cry and also ask yourself questions about the significance of living right now; Sweet Home is also my all time favorite webcomic ever—it’s a horror/kinda sci-fi/survival story with themes of heroism & warmth amidst war & teamwork— I’ve read it like 4 times when it was still in production and I would reread it again. The webtoon was also adapted into a show on Netflix which I’ve been watching, it is more than decent too. Nothing beats the webtoon but the Netflix adaptation is incredibly hooking + they got the lovable and unique characters down well :).

Søren Kierkegaard, from Kierkegaard's Journals and Notebooks, Volume 1
Text ID: It is a question of understanding my own destiny, of seeing what the Deity really wants me to do; the thing is to find a truth which is truth for me, to find the idea for which I am willing to live and die.

Enough Self Improvement
Our world is always imploring us to improve. You need to have a better physique, create some new skills so that you don’t get left behind, improve your relationships, your spirituality, learn a new language, or manage your money better. Here is the thing; the list is endless and 90% of the investment you make reading or taking classes in self improvement is pretty much worthless. Why do we get on…

The Gish Gallop Effect: How Rapid Argumentation Distorts Perceptions and Beliefs
Beware the “Gish Gallop” effect, a common persuasive tactic where an individual rapid-fires their talking points without giving anyone a chance to respond to anything they said. This is a popular strategy used in formal debates, political discourse, and everyday arguments.

Water IS wet, a thesis
wet . adjective
Wet
consisting of, containing, covered with, or soaked with liquid (such as water)
wet . noun
: WATER
also : MOISTURE, WETNESS
wet . verb
wet or wetted; wetting
transitive verb
: to make wet
__________________________________________________
Capillary action
edit
Because water has strong cohesive and adhesive forces, it exhibits capillary action.[65] Strong cohesion from hydrogen bonding and adhesion allows trees to transport water more than 100 m upward.[64]
(Wikipedia)
See: (wet : adjective)
cohesive
adjective
co·he·sive kō-ˈhē-siv -ziv
: exhibiting or producing cohesion or coherence
COHESION
noun
co·he·sion kō-ˈhē-zhən
Synonyms of cohesion
1
: the act or state of sticking together tightly
especially : UNITY
the lack of cohesion in the Party
—The Times Literary Supplement (London)
cohesion among soldiers in a unit
2
: union between similar plant parts or organs
3
: molecular attraction by which the particles of a body are united throughout the mass
"I interject, perhaps I argue in the reference of one individual molecule senator"?
The occurrence of an individual and perceivable molecule of water in water is WROUGHT by humidity.
See: humidity
noun
hu·mid·i·ty hyü-ˈmi-də-tē yü-
pluralhumidities
Synonyms of humidity
: a moderate degree of wetness especially of the atmosphere
__________________________________________________
"Perhaps I argue in reference to the laboratory instance of one individual molecule alone and unto itself senator"
In this instance I would argue that a molecule of water can consist of itself (wet adjective). In the lack of lawful volume to define humidity, by itself it is moist (wet noun). And remains the property to induce a state of wetness (wet verb).

OH, the fact that human instincts arent only fight or flight but to dance, to tell story and befriend, or when Morpheus said "I am Hope" and Lucifer remained silent bc theres nothing that can kill hope and when the sun rises ,again, and you realize you can try again and when it gets better and and when the beauty of it all, of how we all take so much time on hit rock bottom bc we all are waiting to find something worth living for because we want to live, without realizing that -thats- enough reason to keep going and and when self-loathe is just a desperate, last attempt so somebody can show they care, when that somebody who cares is you and it always gonna be you the only person you'll need to take on the world

I think what appeals to me about Phantasy Star Online 2's worldbuilding is, like ... they basically don't distinguish between the different races.
Like yeah, part of this is out of necessity because the player could be anything, and the story-mode cutscenes are always exactly the same with the only variance occuring when you select a choice right that minute (which occasionally results in unintentional comedy when it accidentally results in complete nonsense, but still).
But in-universe, everyone's just people, y'know? Including the cyborg CAST race. There's no robot-or-cyborg-rights subplot or anything, no tension between the races, no apparent bigotry or anything aside from the Second-Biggest Asshole In The Setting going like "you freaking CAST" at one point (and the actual Biggest Asshole looks down on everyone equally), and the only surprise happened when the Deuman race got patched in and this was made to be an in-universe thing due to time travel shenanigans. Even the guys with pointy ears that are longer than their entire heads and the people with horns are "humanity." And that because they're all derived from baseline humans -- CASTs are cyborgs, again, but Newmans and Deumans are genetically engineered from humans.
And like on the gameplay side, everyone can use magic Techniques, including CASTs -- the iconic Force (spellcaster class) NPC is even a CAST! The differences in stats are eventually not really there, once you've leveled up enough? Whereas even previous games in the Phantasy Star series are like "nope, androids cannot use Techniques, full stop" or Phantasy Star Universe's "Casts can use Techniques, but they're really shit at it", which seems to be pretty much the way most settings would have done it in cases when robots/cyborgs aren't the primary character type.
Like. It would be interesting if there was some story variance. But given that basically every other fantasy and/or sci-fi setting does the "races/species are Different™" thing, PSO2's way is interesting in and of itself!
