Maybe a Teer drabble?
[Teer's bio: Vulture of Sorrow.]
---
"Mira, this is Teer, kwami of Sorrow, and they will be your kwami as you set off on your journey."
Teer opened her eyes as she was summoned into the world, peering at the one who held her Miraculous– her new holder.
"Your training has impressed many within the Order," Teer's eyes shifted from the holder to the Guardian that was speaking. She recognized him as the current Guardian on her Miracle Box, though she didn't know much about him. Guardians trained by the Order had never been social with the kwamis.
Besides, he would be dead in a few decades anyways, there was not a point in getting to know him.
"But most of all you have impressed me, which is why I am not only trusting you with a kwami from my box, but with an aspect of Emotion," the Guardian continued. "These powers are not to be taken lightly, or used outside of the threat you are facing. Unlike many abilities, those born from Emotion can affect many people, and you are not responsible for making sure Sorrow only touches those who threaten the world."
The Guardian seemed to be done with his speech, Mira bowing respectfully to him. "Don't worry, Master, your trust in me will not be misplaced." She then took the black handkerchief in her hand, the Miraculous of the Vulture, tying it around her wrist. Mira then looked at Teer, giving her a warm smile. "It's nice to meet you, I'm glad that I'll get the opportunity to work with you"
"It is not a thing to be glad about," Teer replied, drifting over to stand by her new holder's side. "If I am fortunate you will be a good holder who is truly a hero, but then I will only know you for a few years. If luck frowns on me then you will become corrupted and misuse these powers, tearing me from safety for decades to come. Either way this encounter will not end happy."
"Teer," her Guardian snapped. "You do not insinuate that a holder I have picked will turn against the Order!"
Mira on the other hand did not seem upset. "Well, I hope I can prove to you, Teer, that I will be a good partner."
Teer did not see how a good partner would be a good thing. Maybe many years ago it would have been, back when holders were lifelong companions, but those days were now painful memories since she had fallen into the Order's hands. Mira did not understand what being a good holder meant to a kwami, how they would only get a few years of the kindness and the thrill, before the Miraculous would be taken from them again, holder and kwami to no longer meet.
Life was a tragedy as a kwami of the Order.
-
Mira was a good holder.
She fought for good, fearlessly facing the threats the Order of the Guardians guided her to. She was good when it came to battle, defeating those who stood in her way. She was a good person, always kind to Teer, letting her roam within her home, and always having onions on hand for her to feast on.
Mira was a not only a good holder, but also a good friend.
Teer silently cried herself to sleep the night she realized that, tucked in the nook of Mira's neck. Teer had found a kind and valiant holder, and she would not be hers to keep. The Guardians would only let her hold a Miraculous for as long she were young and able to fight, which would not be for much longer. Mira was already a few decades old, and would only have a few more decades left of fighting years at most. And even if this limit wasn't set by the Guardians, humans did not even live for a century. It was a cruel fate, to have such a wonderful species to only lived for such a short moment.
Teer wiped her tears away as she laid there, carefully using her wings to comb at Mira's long black hair. Here she had a wonderful holder, but half of her life she'd spend sleeping like this. Now was a time they could have been together, more moments they could use to just be with one another, but this mortal form did not allow humans to do so.
She was going to lose Mira. To death, to the Order, or to battle. It did not matter how it would happen, this would all painfully end one day, and Teer hated it.
She loved this holder.
-
"I'm pregnant."
Teer looked at her holder, blinking, taking in this news. She was very aware that humans did carry their young inside them, but it had been a long time since she had encountered it in a holder, and she did not quite remember how she was supposed to react to this.
"So there is a young human inside of you?" Teer asked peering at her stomach, finding this so strange. Unifying with a holder or fellow kwami during transformation made sense, but being literally inside other being? How bizarre.
"Yes," Mira said, hesitating. "I haven't told the Guardian yet, and I probably can hide it for just a bit longer, but soon it will be obvious that I'm expecting. After that... I'm going to have to give up my Miraculous."
Teer had gone from curious moments before, to absolutely horrified with just those few words. Wide eyes stared up at her holder, tears forming as she processed what she was saying.
This couldn't be happening. Not now. Mira was a good holder, a strong fighter, she was supposed to have a Miraculous for many more years!
"The Order only allows childless women to be holders," Mira explained softly as Teer grabbed at her dress. "We must have no other duties to serve with the Order. Once they find out I will be ordered to give you back... and for that I'm sorry, Teer, I'm so sorry."
"No!" Teer cried, tears falling down her face. "No, no, no! You're not supposed to leave, not yet! The fight is still happening, you're supposed to be my holder still!"
Teer had been preparing for this day to happen, she had always known it was coming, but now... so soon... she thought she had longer!
"It's not yet," Mira said, scooping her out of the air, thumbs wiping across her face as tears fell. Mira was now crying as well, cradling Teer close. "A few more months."
A few months at most. Teer may not remember everything about young humans, but she knew they grew within their mothers quickly. She did not know how long Mira had been carrying this young one, but she knew it would grow, and it would show.
"Are you... okay ?" Teer asked, looking up at Mira. She could barely make out her holder's expression, tears blurring her sight. She could sense the Sorrow within the human, but she knew that humans felt many emotions at once.
"I'm excited for the child," Mira said softly. "But not for what I must do because of this. I... I do not wish to lose you Teer."
Teer clutched her human tightly, her chest feeling heavy. She had been prepared to lose this holder one day... but not like this. As for the young one growing within her, Teer did not know what to feel. It would be risky to feel anything for them, as she would never get to know this young human. She knew they existed... but like all other humans in her life, they would be taken from her before she could even meet them.
"Maybe one day my child will be your holder," Mira said softly, as if reading Teer's mind.
A possibility, yes, the Order often looked at families of past holders for those to pick in the future, but the possibility of such paths crossing was not worth putting stock in. To place hope into something only for it not to happen was just pain waiting to happen.
If Teer knew a way to make sure this child could be her holder, then perhaps she would hope. If she knew that she could see Mira again after this, then maybe she could find it in her heart to celebrate this child– but Teer could not. All she felt was this aching pain, potent and churning.
What was the point of having so much in her life if she was only going to lose it all?
Teer's wings tightened around Mira, eyes snapping open, and for a moment Teer's tears were dry. She sat there, clinging to her holder, a determination setting in.
She did not want to lose Mira yet.
"We could run," Teer whispered, looking up at her.
"What?" Mira stammered.
"We could run away from the Order," Teer said softly. "Then they could not take the Miraculous away. You would still be my holder, and one day your child could do the same."
A rare giddy feeling was bubbling up in Teer, the sudden hope flaring bright. Running from the Order would mean so much... it would mean departing from her Miracle Box, but it would also mean being with Mira for the rest of her life. It would mean being with this child for their whole life.
A holder from birth until death... a potential good hundred years with one she could love. It would end painfully, perhaps more so than with other holders... but a hundred years with a holder...
"The Order would not forgive us," Mira said softly. "They would hunt us down."
"Other kwamis have done it before."
"Is... is that what you want?" Mira asked quietly. "To come with me, to be away from the Order."
Teer felt their eyes grow wet, tears of joy forming. "More than anything."

Not a Soul
Not a Soul
Ladybug froze when the Akuma held her face is a vice-grip.
“Now,” Said Soul Stealer, Ladybug had giggled about their name when she first heard it, “let’s see what you taste like.”
Then the Akuma breathed in deeply and Ladybug felt her world go dark for a second. Then everything came rushing back and her face curled into a snarl. She threw a punch at the Akuma, and then another, the next thing she knew, she was kneeling over an unconscious and bleeding Sabrina and the Akuma was trying to fly away.
Ladybug heaved deep breaths, before throwing her yoyo out and catching the Akuma and purifying it. Ladybug looked down at herself, her suit had changed slightly, but otherwise she felt…empty. No feelings, not concerns, no emotions. She thought nothing of it and decided to go home.
The next day Marinette and her friends found Mirelle crying in the bathroom, and everyone expected Marinette to rattle off one of her weirdly wise and thought-provoking conflict resolution thoughts.
“I have no idea what the fuck to say, but I’m sure if you both sit down and talk it out something will come of it.” Marinette’s voice had been void of all emotion since the incident with Soul Consumer and Sabrina hadn’t been found.
The routine continued for weeks on end, until Adrien and Lila returned from their journey and Adrien practically jumped at Nino and Alya.
“Civilised and intelligent company, how I’ve missed you!” Cried Adrien, getting shocked looks from the rest of the class.
“It’s great to see you too, buddy.” Said Nino, before noticing that Marinette was still sitting at her desk and not bothering to interact with anyone, “Marinette’s been acting a bit weird since you guys left.”
“Yeah, she’d been emotionless, lacking in every form of empathy and, to cap it all off, she got into a physical fight with Chloe and nearly killed her.” Murmured Alya, as Marinette idly picked at her nails.
“Is Chloe alright?” Asked Adrien, making everyone tense.
“Yeah, the thing is everyone saw Chloe reach out to an Akuma and then Marinette lost it.” Said Nathaniel, “Chloe’s going to be questioned when she wakes up.”
“When did that happen?” Asked Lila, frowning as she tried to think up a way to spin Marinette in a bad light.
“About a month ago.” Said Alix, as Marinette flicked a nail fragment away from her.
“Jesus.” Muttered Lila, as Marinette finally noticed Adrien’s presence.
“Hi.” Said Marinette, giving a half-wave with her hand.
“Okay, not what I expected.” Said Adrien after a moment, “How long’s she been like this?”
Plagg scratched at Adrien’s chest through his shirt.
“A few months now, about the same length of time that Sabrina’s been missing.” Replied Alya, as Marinette started attacking the table with a pair of scissors.
Adrien frowned, before excusing himself so he could speak to Plagg.

Chat Noir nervously waited on top of the Eiffel Tower, waiting for Su Han to turn up.
“I was surprised when I got your message.” Said the Guardian, making Chat jump.
“I know that usually Ladybug deals with contacting you,” Started Chat, nervously, “but one of my friends is acting strange. She isn’t displaying any emotions, doesn’t appear to register pain, she isn’t eating and, from what I’ve heard, isn’t sleeping.”
“I’ve noticed something similar with Ladybug,” Admitted Su Han, as two more Guardian’s landed behind him, “This friend of yours, what’s her name?”
“Marinette Dupain-Cheng.” Said Chat, getting a snort from one of the other Guardians.
“Then we’re speaking of the same person.” Revealed Su Han, “I’m aware that she didn’t want for either of you to reveal your identities to each other, but I fear that the situation has called for it.”
Chat quickly shook off his shock, “What do you mean?”
“We’ve been unable to trace Ladybug for some time now, we have no idea on how to find her.” Said Su Han, as Chat froze.
NAS
Marinette scowled as Nathalie skidded along the floor, “How did you find out?”
“I made sure to follow you.” Sneered Nathalie, as Marinette slammed her foot down on the woman’s arm.
“So, I’d be right in assuming you’re Mayura?” Questioned Marinette, “Or, at least, you were, before Gabriel didn’t find you useful anymore.”
Nathalie made a lunge for the earrings, only for Marinette to grab her forehead.
“You know, I made lots of discoveries since Soul Consumer,” Informed Marinette, “I can create literally anything, it doesn’t even need to be a lucky charm!”
Nathalie gazed up at Marinette in fear.
“For example, I can literally turn your insides to fire and do this!” Nathalie screamed as fire burst from her eyes and mouth. Marinette released her grip and Nathalie’s corpse fell to the ground.
Marinette carefully readjusted her clothes and waved her hand, a portal appeared in front of her, and she walked through. Marinette looked at the building in front of her, before stalking up to the front door.
Felix and his mother were having lunch when the front doors suddenly flew off. One of the servants started walking over to the door, only for fire to burst from their mouth and eyes. Slowly, the same thing happened to the others, leaving only Felix and his mother alive. Felix nervously gripped the peacock, while Duusuu froze and then scowled.
“Oh, Felix?” Called a familiar voice, Felix froze as he felt fear tear into him. Ladybug came for payback, “Where are you, you little bitch?”
Felix didn’t say anything as one of Adrien’s friends rounded the corner. Felix recognised her as the one that sent Adrien a video message saying she loved him. Marinette paused, before grinning, “Hello, thief.”
“I don’t know who you are-” Amelie was cut off as she was flung against a wall.
“So, where are they?” Asked Marinette, as silver, foot-long dagger appearing in her hand.
Felix swallowed, before Duusuu flew out and gasped.
“Tikki, what have you done?!” Demanded the Kwami, as Marinette tilted her head.
“Tikki hasn’t done anything, in fact she hasn’t done anything for the past four months!” Snarled Marinette, “Now, where are the rest of the Miraculous?!”
“I-I don’t have them!” Spluttered Felix, as Marinette tilted her head.
“Then where are they?” Asked Marinette, the tip of her blade resting under Felix’s chin.
“They’re in Paris!” Answered Felix, making Marinette scowl.
The girl waved her hand and Amelie found herself forced to her knees and dragged over to next to Felix.
“Tell me the truth, or mummy dearest will get a whole new perspective on how the world looks.” Threatened Marinette, moving the blade from under Felix’s chin to just above Amelie’s eyes.
“They are in Paris!” Felix begged, “They’re with my uncle, I gave them to him to take the Peacock from him!”
Marinette paused, before frowning, “Okay.”
Marinette slowly started turning away, before whipping back around and slashing the knife across Felix’s face, “There, now they’ll be able to tell you and your cousin apart.”
Felix held his bleeding face, while his mother screamed and tried to stop the bleeding. In the chaos, Marinette left through a portal.
NAS
Chat stared down at Nathalie’s body, while Su Han cast a spell to follow Marinette, “I don’t understand, why would Marinette do this?”
“Whatever’s effecting her is obviously greater that we all thought.” Said Ming Hua, kneeling next to the corpse, “Normally, this is only possible with someone who’s used the Ladybug Miraculous for a great number of years.”
The third Guardian, Li Cheng, frowned at the corpse.
“What’s so special about this woman that Fresh Bread had to kill her?” Asked Li, making the other three look at him.
“She’s my father’s secretary, I thought that she and he were a thing, but my father quickly stomped that thought out of existence.” Said Chat, as Su Han completed the spell.
Chat followed the three guardians, before freezing, “This is my cousin’s house.”
Ming Hua frowned and twisted her head so one of her ears was closer to the house. The woman quickly broke in to a run, with the three men following her. Chat heard his aunt screaming. Chat froze as Su Han and Cheng dragged his aunt away from Felix, who had his face slashed open. Ming Hua’s palm was glowing as she healed most of the wound. A long, red scar went from Felix’s jawline, through his right eyebrow and into his hair.
“What happened?” Demanded Chat, glaring down at Felix.
“Ladybug happened.” Coughed Felix, as Chat hauled him to his feet.
“Well, after what you did, I’m not surprised!” Snarled Chat, glaring at Felix.
“She wanted to know what I did with the other Miraculous and I told her I gave them to my uncle.” Answered Felix, making Chat snarl.
“Why?” Demanded Chat, his voice hissing as he spoke.
“Because he’s Hawkmoth.” Said Felix, making Chat freeze.
The ring flash a couple of times before Adrien unexpectedly detransformed. Felix stared at his cousin’s shocked face before Adrien drew his arm back and slammed it into Felix’s nose.
“What was that for?!” Yelled Felix, holding his now broken nose.
“DO YOU WANT A FUCKING LIST?!” Roared Adrien, as Plagg looked around.
“Wow, not even I would kill the staff.” Making Adrien freeze.
Looking around, Adrien saw more corpses that had been killed exactly the same was as Nathalie. Duusuu flew up to Plagg.
“That girl didn’t have a soul.” Said the Kwami, making everyone freeze.
“What?” Asked Su Han, looking at the Kwami.
“That girl, who came in here and killed everyone, she didn’t have a soul.” Reaffirmed Duusuu, looking around, “I’m not sure what Tikki did, but that girl was wielding her power like a god.”
“Goddess.” Corrected Adrien, blushing as everyone looked at him, “She’s female, so the correct term would be goddess.”
“WHAT IS HAPPENING?!” Screamed Amelie, making everyone freeze.
“That’s a long story.” Supplied Adrien, as Amelie gripped her head.
NAS
Marinette skipped though the halls of the Agreste Mansion, whistling to herself, she’d sent Adrien’s bodyguard through a wall, fused their chef to the floor and burnt Gabriel’s new secretary. Now, she just had to find Gabriel and the Miraculous.
Marinette sauntered into Gabriel’s office and grinned when she saw the Miraculous all laying out in the open. She ducked when she heard something cutting through the air behind her.
“Hello, Gabriel.” Greeted Marinette, dodging two more swipes and catching a third. Hawkmoth snarled as Marinette tightened her grip on his cane, his snarl morphed into a look of terror as cracks started to form along its length. Gabriel hit the wall as his weapon exploded and Marinette tore the butterfly from his chest.
“Whoo! That was fun!” Exclaimed Marinette, dropping the butterfly into her bag and collecting the rest of the Miraculous, “Since you have absolutely nothing to live for, I guess I should make this quick.”
Marinette placed her hand on Gabriel’s forehead, before retracting it, “Nah, I guess I can get my hands dirty.”
Marinette buried her fist into Gabriel’s face, starting slowly, before he was on the floor and Marinette was pummelling him.
Gabriel struggled to breath as Marinette applied pressure to his neck, when a black blur hit Marinette and restrained her as she struggled to get free. Chat Noir had his arms wrapped around Marinette, Ladybug, while Su Han removed the earrings and flicked them.
The earrings glowed, before Tikki shot out and crash landed onto the desk.
“…ow.” Muttered Tikki, before sitting up, “Oh no, Marinette!”
The Kwami frantically glanced around, looking for her chosen and spotting her being restrained by Chat Noir and having a Guardian bury their arm up to their elbow in Marinette abdomen.
“I’ve gotten a look at what her soul should look like.” Said Ming Hua, retracting her arm and looking at Gabriel, “Where do you keep the insects?”
Gabriel refused to say anything, before Su Han flicked the Butterfly Miraculous. Nooroo shot out and landed next to Tikki.
“Nooroo, where are the Akuma’s kept?” Demanded Su Han, making the Kwami point at the floor.
“He has a secret elevator that goes down into a basement, he has a garden and a lair for growing and creating Akuma’s.” Said Nooroo, as Li Cheng held a staff against Gabriel’s neck.
Su Han gestured for Cheng to bring Gabriel to him. Gabriel glared at the Guardian, until Su Han placed a finger on his forehead and the man collapsed.
Su Han then walked over to the painting of Adrien’s mother and pressed an area on the painting and made the floor open up. Su Han and Ming Hua both vanished for a couple of hours, when they returned, Ming Hua was holding a bright ball of light and Marinette’s struggling increased.
Chat continued to hold her, until Ming Hua forced the ball into Marinette’s chest.
Marinette stiffened, her mouth and eyes open in a silent scream, before her eyes rolled into the back of her head and she fainted.
NAS
Felix tried not to shift uncomfortably as they sat in the Agreste Mansion’s living room. His mother had been livid when the entire situation had been explained to her and had both herself and Felix accompany Adrien and the ‘Guardians’ back to Paris, where they found Marinette, as Adrien identified her, beating Gabriel to a pulp.
Adrien had taken Marinette and placed her in one of the guest rooms, before helping the Guardian’s check over the Miraculous. Gabriel tried to say something, he was ignored by Adrien and Amelie walked up to the fashion designer, picked up his glasses and broke them.
Gabriel dissolved into purple bubbles, leaving a purple feather on the floor. Felix’s stomach dropped, if Gabriel had been a sentimonster and his mother had destroyed him without an issue, would she do the same to him and Adrien?
Amelie walked back over to Felix.
“Gabriel died in a car crash when Adrien was three,” Said Amelie, while Adrien stared at the feather, “Emile was beside herself, wouldn’t sleep of eat, she’d already lost Joshua and she couldn’t bear the thought of Adrien losing a parent, so she created Facsimile.”
“Who the fuck is Joshua?” Demanded Felix, getting a glare from Amelie.
“Joshua Agreste was Gabriel’s older brother, Emilie’s first husband and…” Amelie paused, before continuing, “Adrien’s father. He was killed during a home invasion while Emile was still pregnant.”
Adrien collapsed into a chair, “My father has been dead since I was three, wasn’t my actual father and you were just sitting on that nugget of information for how long?!”
“Amoks do have a tendency to go mad if their creator dies, especially ones that are made with more complex minds.” Said Ming Hua, rubbing the Tiger Miraculous, “Remember what Goliath did after Tai died?”
“We’re still finding broken walls.” Muttered Li Cheng, as he carefully placed the Ox into the egg-like Miracle Box.
There was a thud, followed by a bout muffled swearing, then Marinette appeared in the doorway looking as if she just woke up.
“This isn’t my room.” Mumbled Marinette, blearily looking around, “This isn’t my home. Where am I?”
Marinette took a step forward and fell forwards in another dead faint.
Ming Hua stared at Marinette, “She’s probably going to be hungry when she wakes up.”
NAS
Adrien watched in amazement as Marinette devoured her fifteenth sandwich in a row. The girl took a big swig of water and started on another sandwich. After finishing her last sandwich, Marinette swallowed and leaned back in her seat.
“So, I had my soul stolen, went several months without it, found Felix and the Peacock and tried to kill Hawkmoth, who was Gabriel Agreste, and I can’t remember any of this.” Said Marinette, before looking at the Miraculous on the table, “Where’s Nathalie?”
Adrien paused, before Felix decided to speak, “You killed her, like you killed my home’s staff.”
Marinette jumped and her gaze snapped to Felix, “What the fuck happened to your face?”
Felix glared at her, before Amelie clapped the back of his head.
“You made the decision to aid a terrorist, regardless of your justifications,” Snapped Amelie, glaring at her son, “you knew Gabriel was Shadowmoth and you chose to keep that to yourself, when you could’ve informed the police.”
Felix looked slightly ashamed, “But she killed the Amoks.”
“Because they were destroying the city.” Snapped Marinette, glaring at Felix, “Besides, if you had a problem with the plan, you could’ve said, and we would’ve adapted. The only time you could’ve taken the yoyo is just after I gave you Barkk, which was before the plan. You’re just like Hawkmoth, you keep trying to make yourself sympathetic, but it just makes you intolerable.”
Su Han immediately clapped a hand on Marinette should, making her freeze and look confused.
“Why am I standing?” Asked Marinette, looking around.
“Since your soul was torn out, it’s going to ‘come loose’ every so often,” Said Ming Hua, before carefully placing a necklace on Marinette, “this talisman should keep your soul in place until we can find a way of fixing it to you. But you cannot take this off, under any circumstances, understood?”
Marinette nodded, before looking around again, “So, what’s needed for the ritual?”
NAS
“Okay,” Said Alya, dropping a pile of items in the table in front of her, Marinette, Adrien and the Guardians, “we have; Madagascan Vanilla, taken directly from Madagascar, One French Coffee Press, no coffee included, Coffee Beans harvested and roasted in Colombia, Marinette’s birth certificate, two drops of her blood, her favourite food, and two strands of hair from her parents.”
“Is that everything?” Asked Adrien, as Marinette fiddled with her pendent.
“It should be,” Said Ming Hua, before gesturing Marinette to lie down, “This may hurt a bit.”
Marinette shrugged, before lying on the floor. Ming Hua started chanting, making an intricate circle appear on the floor. The circle glowed a bright blue, before flashing red and turning gold. Marinette gasped and let out a small scream.
“Fucking ow.” Said Marinette, rolling onto her side and looking at her arms.
Red markings decorated her forearms, “What’s this?”
Li Cheng looked at the markings, before sighing, “Your soul almost didn’t take root because it couldn’t understand the actions your body took in its absence. These marks are your soul trying to purge the acts from you.”
Marinette nervously breathed in through her nose, “W-what would’ve happened if my soul didn’t ‘take root’?”
“That would’ve only happened if your body had done something completely heinous, like killing a parent.” Explained Li, as the marks started to fade, “They’ll behave like scars, so unless you tan, they’ll never show up again.”
Marinette nodded, that had almost been a reality, when Lila had tried to steal the pendent that kept her soul tethered to her. Thankfully, her Maman hadn’t been hurt but Marinette was terrified that, if Adrien hadn’t stopped her, she would’ve done something inexcusable.
“So, it’s fixed in place now, right?” Asked Marinette, nervously fingering the pendent around her neck.
“It’s in place,” Assured Li, “You don’t need to worry about it anymore.”
Marinette nodded, before Adrien guided her out of the room. Amelie and Felix had moved to Paris, following Gabriel’s arrest and Felix’s involvement with him coming to light. Felix was currently serving community service, along with Lila and Chloe. Chloe had gone to the tasks voluntarily, while Felix and Lila had to be tracked down and fitted with ankle monitors. Marinette thought it was a little bit of growth on Chloe’s part, but she didn’t rule out the possibility that it was to help the mayor’s election campaign.
“So, where are we going to?” Asked Marinette, as Adrien guided her to the cinema.
“To see the new superhero movie Alya’s been going on about.”
“Will there be food?”
“Yes.”
“Okay, lead the way.”
