Plot twist, the fake CEO was actually the Janitor
The hero was gasping for air.
The fight with the corrupt CEO took everything he had to win. The office on the top floor of the Allcorp building was a mess. It was finally over.
The hero moved his bruised body to the office chair that the CEO had been sitting just before their clash, it had miraculously survived the fight.
He ended up stumbling and falling on the floor, right next to the beaten a bloody pulp of the CEO.
He took a couple of gasps of air as he made his arms push upward, right as he heard the ding of an elevator.
The hero turned his head, wondering if he had another foe to face, but to his relief, it was just the janitor. The one that had pointed him towards the elevator earlier in his ascent to face the boss.
“Quite a mess.” The Janitor spoke.
The hero managed to stand.
“Sorry about that… Though I think you can probably clock out for the day.” The hero joked.
The Janitor approached while leaving his sanitation cart in the elevator.
“You really did a number on him.” He said as he looked at the body.
“He didn’t make it easy… Hope you don’t mind your boss is gone.”
“Oh him? He isn’t my boss.” He said amused.
“That’s a relief, are you contracted to clean the building by another company?”
The hero noticed the Janitor had moved to sit in the CEO’s chair.
“Not that, this is actually my building.”
The hero chuckled.
“I guess it is now, since the boss is gone and everyone else is taken down or fled.”
The Janitor turned the chair away from the hero who was struggling to stay standing.
“You are quite the hero. Fighting your way up here, risking life and limb to stop what you deem as evil. I really respect your hard work.”
The hero felt a bit confused by the Janitor’s tone, it seemed to have shifted. Though it could be the damage from earlier that’s messing with his head.
“I’m just doing what heroes do.” He said as he held his head up.
“Of course, how Idealistic. I remember thinking like that once. But that’s in the past.”
“Um… What do you mean by that?”
The janitor turned, now out of his uniform and wearing what appears to be an expensive Suit. His messy hair that obscured his eyes was styled back. His eyes red as the blood on the floor, his smile like a serpent that has eaten his meal.
“Wait… you…”
Bang
The hero looked at his stomach, a bullet hole spilling blood had appeared. The shock kicked in and he fell to his knees.
“I didn’t expect you would actually get this far. But I didn’t get to where I am today by not setting up a contingency.”
“…Who…”
“Oh him? Just a body double I injected with enough experimental steroids to bench press a building. Which makes it all the more impressive you managed to kill him.”
He got up from the chair, raising the gun to the hero’s forehead.
“Since I’m a gentleman, I’ll let you have your last words, be sure to make them memorable.”
“You… you won’t get away with this, someone will rise up and stop you!”
The true CEO sighed.
“34.”
Bang
The hero dropped dead to the floor.
The CEO went back to his chair, rolling it back to his desk. He opens a drawer and pulls out a black book. He opens it and turns to a page with the line that the hero said before he died. He puts a tally mark next to the others.
“Oh, my mistake, 32.”

Gabriel's 'love' is an entitled possessive type.
Ladybug/Marinette's love is reciprocal and slightly dumb.
Chat/Adrien's is just a Ladybug emoji bouncing around acting as his only braincell.
Do you think
Every time Chat Noir dies
And Ladybug brings him back
Gabriel gets a little angrier
Because
She’ll bring him back
She gets to save her love
And that’s not breaking the rules
But he
He
Saving Emilie is “too far”
Why does Ladybug get for free what he has to kill for

Remember
Remember
“Don’t look away,” Growled Ganondorf, “you-”
“You don’t remember.” Said the Hylian, Link, frowning at Ganondorf.
“What?” Sneered Ganondorf, livid at being interrupted.
“You don’t remember.” Repeated Link, sighing with the Sages staring at him in confusion, “We’ve been through this time and time and time again. Since the dawn of the world and across the timelines. We know each other, more than you think.”
“I don’t know what your blathering about.” Snarled Ganondorf, as Link quietly pulled a spring from a Zonai capsule.
Link sighed, “Okay, let’s see what you do remember, because I don’t want to fight someone who doesn’t know why he’s the biggest prick in the world.”
Ganondorf went to grab his sword, when the ‘sword of legend’ flashed.
“Calm down, Fi, we’re still going to kill him.” Dismissed Link, frowning at Ganondorf, “You’re still going to die, do you remember being stabbed in the head by a child in green?”
Ganondorf stared at Link, getting another sigh, “Obviously not, how about nearly being disembowelled by an angsty looking wolf?”
Ganondorf just unsheathed his sword.
“Alright, how about drawing your sword from your servant’s chest and vanishing into another plane?” Said Link, drawing the Master Sword.
Ganondorf froze, suddenly finding himself in a throne room launching an orb of energy at a young man in green, while a princess hung in a pink crystal suspended above them. He then felt a searing pain in his chest, the man in green looked different, vastly different, but he could tell it was the same person.
“You’re starting to remember,” Mused Link, readying for the impending battle, “good.”
Ganondorf felt himself getting up from the ground, the man in green different once again, glaring up at him. He glanced at his hand, freezing at the sight of a triangle on the back of it. He shook his head and snarled at Link, “Get out of my head, you welp!”
Link dodged the swing, parrying the blade away from him.
Ganondorf was at the top of a castle, water pouring down around him, fighting two children, a princess aiming a bow at him, while a boy in green launched himself into the hair and ramming his sword in his forehead.
Ganondorf yelled, throwing himself at Link and the Sages.
R
“Link?” Asked Riju, looking at him as they examined Ganondorf’s lifeless body, “Two questions, how did he turn back? I thought the dragon-ifying thing was permanent, and what were you talking about back there?”
“Just some old history Rij.” Dismissed Link, looking at the back of Ganondorf’s right hand, “Things between him and I just span more than one lifetime.”
Zelda prodded Ganondorf’s eye with a stick.
“Zel, I’m waving his hand around, I’m sure he’s dead.” Protested Link, as he accidentally nudged the hilt of a broken sword. Ganondorf’s body twitched, getting a scream from some of the assembled crowd and an arrow to the eye from Tulin.
“For the love of Din, he’s already dead!” Groaned Link, as Tulin looked at him.
“He twitched.”
“He twi- Of course he twitched,” Yelled Link, grabbing the hilt of the broken sword, “He’s got a sword embedded in his nervous system!”
Ganondorf’s body twitched with each movement of the sword.

Fall of Order 1
Fall of Order 1
Order 66
Marinette twitched as her master spoke with the Mandalorians in front of them. The butterfly symbol of Clan Agreste glared down at them.
“Do you think the General’s going to be able to come up with a plan if those Mando’s keep glaring at him?” Whispered Commander Frost, leaning close to Marinette.
“I hope so,” responded the Padawan, “Jedi and Mandalorians don’t have the best history with each other.”
“You can say that again.” Grumbled Sneak, frowning behind his helmet.
“Count Agreste,” Said Master Fu, sighing, “I will inform you as soon as I’ve finished surveying the field, there is no need to stand over me and watch.”
Gabriel only glared and folded his arms. Marinette heard Frost’s comm start beeping, which stopped when the Clone answered it.
“Commander Frost,” Came the Voice of Chancellor Palpatine, “Execute Order 66.”
Marinette felt the force go cold, before a stabbing pain reached her. Marinette was so overcome by it; she didn’t notice the Clones aiming at her and her Master.
“Marinette!” Yelled Fu, his lightsaber springing to life as he deflected the first few shots.
Marinette shook her head and regained her senses, her blue blade joining her master’s green. Shots soared over their shoulders as the Mandalorians opened fire on the Clones. A shot suddenly hit her master in the shoulder, another hitting him in the middle of his chest and a final one hit his head, sending the Jedi master to the floor, dead.
Marinette saw red and summoned her master’s lightsaber and launched herself at the remaining Clones. Commander Frost’s head fell from his shoulders and Sneak’s arm hit the floor as the two blades pierced his chest. Marinette looked around; the remains of the clones lied scattered across the room. Marinette turned to her master’s corpse and fell to her knees.
“Traitorous lab experiments.” Snarled one of the Mandalorians, while the countess crossed the room and grabbed Marinette’s arm before hauling her to her feet.
“You can’t stay here,” Said Emilie, as Marinette struggled, “You yourself said that you only brought a small group with you.”
Marinette stopped struggling, allowing Emilie to pull her out of the room and towards a speeder. Soon, the Mandalorians and the Padawan were leaving the area as fast as they could.
“Clan Tsurugi should be waiting at the rendezvous,” Said Gabriel, frowning at a data pad, “I remember them saying that they had something called the ‘Padawan Pack’ with them.”
Marinette vaguely registered what he said, Nino and Alya were part of the Pack, Luka and Zoe were out scouting with a couple clones. The speeder came to a stop, Marinette was guided out of the speeder. A couple Mandalorians glanced at her, before pointing Emilie in the direction of a tent. Alya tackled Marinette as soon as she saw her, Nino was nursing a blaster wound on his arm and Luka and Zoe’s remains were under a sheet in the back of the tent.
“They just started shooting at us.” Whispered Alya, tightly gripping Marinette, “They killed Luka and Zoe when they came back from patrol. I don’t understand, they were our allies.”
Marinette didn’t say anything as three Mandalorian teens listened in on the conversation.
“I heard the Chancellor tell them to execute order 66.” Said Marinette, breaking her silence.
“What’s that?” Asked Nino, summoning his lightsabre to him.
“I don’t know,” Answered Marinette, “but the Clones know, we can try with them.”
“Provided they don’t try and shoot us first.” Mused Alya, “We’d need to capture a scout, lure it out and probe it’s mind.”
Marinette folded her arms, before glancing around, “Do you know where they are?”
“No.” Said Nino, “Even if we did, we have no way of containing them.”
“You could just ask.” Said a voice, making Marinette spin around and ignite her lightsaber.
The Mandalorian stared at Marinette through his helmet. There were two girls flanking him, before Marinette extinguished her lightsaber.
“Okay, where can we find them?” Asked Marinette, placing her hands on her hips.
“They’re camped out in a valley a couple of klicks from here.” Said the Mandalorian, “But, they have some force user with them.”
Marinette frowned, before she made to leave the tent. The Mandalorian stopped her, “It’s not safe.”
Marinette glared at him, before flinging her arms out and using the force to throw him and his friends back. One of the Mandalorian girls helmet came off. Kagami glared at the Jedi, before aiming one of her blasters at her back and firing.
Marinette deflected the shot back at them, with Nino intercepting it and sending it to the ground. Alya took off after Marinette, while Nino set about helping the Mandalorians to their feet.
“What was that?” Asked the boy, taking his helmet off.
“When a Padawan loses their master, they’re prone to fits of irrational behaviour,” Explained Nino, “In Marinette’s case, a desire for revenge.”
The Mandalorian’s eyes narrowed, “What does that mean?”
“It means Marinette need time to calm down.” Responded Nino, “Marinette’s been training longer than any of us, she’ll be able to handle herself.”
FOO
Marinette ducked behind a tree, immediately spotting the clones, as well as the ‘force user’ the Mandalorians had spotted. She’d managed to give Alya the slip before coming here. Marinette absently reached for her master’s lightsaber, only for her hand to grab empty air. She quickly looked around her, hoping to spot the weapon, only to find nothing.
Marinette bit back a groan, before the force gave her a warning to duck. A red lightsaber sailed over her, narrowly missing her head. The blade returned to the force user’s hand. A black mask covering her face.
“Hey.” Waved Marinette, silently cursing herself for not noticing them approach.
The force user didn’t respond, they only swung the blade at Marinette again. Marinette ducked and ignited her saber, blocking the blow and striking back at them. Marinette quickly noticed another lightsaber on the force user’s belt. Steeling herself, Marinette summoned the lightsaber, before using the force to knock down all the trees surrounding them.
The force user was knocked back and Marinette grabbed the force user’s lightsaber and fled into the night.
The Inquisitor cursed, she’d hoped to get the drop on Dupain-Cheng, not have her legs crushed. The Twelfth Sister lifted the tree from her legs, before dragging herself back to the camp, livid that she didn’t think to attach a tracking device to the lightsaber or Jedi.
FOO
Alya nervously sat in a tent full of Mandalorians.
“So…” Alya glanced to the Mandalorian boy, “what are we going to do? Are we just gonna wait for Marinette to come back or…”
Kagami glared at the Jedi, Adrien giving her a warning look to prevent her from lashing out, “I suppose.”
Nino suddenly rocked forwards, before a lump impacted the side of the tent.
“That was quick.” Remarked Adrien, before Marinette wriggled under side of the tent.
“You okay, M?” Asked Alya, before noticing the two extra lightsabers, “Where’d you get those?”
“A force user with the Clones.” Responded Marinette, looking at the Mandalorians.
“Are they dead?” Asked Gabriel, glaring at the girl.
“No, but their legs were crushed,” Replied Marinette, “you may want to plant some more trees to replace the ones I knocked down.”
Marinette was fiddling with the Lightsaber with the strange hand guard, when it suddenly snapped into a full circle. Marinette frowned, before igniting the lightsaber, the red blades illuminating her face. Completely oblivious to the shocked looks around her, she pressed another button and made the blades spin around the circle surrounding the hilt.
Marinette shut the lightsaber off and tossed it to the side.
“Okay, I’ll say it,” Said Adrien, staring at Marinette with wide eyes, “that was cool.”
FOO
Marinette stared down at the braid in her hand, before dropping it in a box next to the lightsabers. The Mandalorians had decided to keep Marinette, Alya and Nino with them, if only to get the drop on the Empire. The three Mandalorian teens that’d spoken to them had introduced themselves to them. The blond boy with green eyes was Adrien, Marinette didn’t like how her heart fluttered slightly, the girl with black hair and amber eyes was Kagami, who introduced herself as Adrien’s betrothed, and the last one, after removing her helmet, had blonde hair and blue eyes and had given her name as Chloe. Marinette found a resemblance to Zoe in her features.
“So,” Said Adrien, making Marinette look at him, “We’re going to take the long way home, to try and lose any followers.”
Marinette nodded, before snapping the lid of the box shut and handing it to Adrien.
“Since your father will probably want them.”
Adrien nodded and put the box behind him, “I’m sorry about Kagami.”
“Are you speaking as her friend or her husband?”
Adrien choked on his own breath, “As her friend, I, I don’t actually see her as anything else, really.”
“Then why didn’t you correct her, or are you afraid of her reaction?” Marinette quirked an eyebrow.
“I don’t want to hurt her.” Justified Adrien, “Besides, neither of us have a say in the matter.”
“Hmm.”
Marinette picked up a small bag, “I’m surprised your parents want to keep Jetii near him, even if it’s just for the element of surprise.”
“I don’t understand it either,” Confessed Adrien, “but where’d you go if he hadn’t?”
“Probably to Coruscant and getting myself killed in the process.”
Adrien and Marinette stood in an awkward silence, before Adrien coughed and cleared his throat, “W-we should probably go to the others, um, you know, if we’re done here.”
Marinette nodded and followed after him, casting a last look at the comm-link she was leaving behind.
Outside the tent, Kagami glared at the fabric, unsure if she should be angry at Adrien or the Jetii. Shoving her helmet on, Kagami went to join the others.
FOO
Nathalie frowned, before ducking out of the way of a Clone patrol. She’d managed to escape the Jedi Temple thanks to a collapsing walkway, which allowed her and a few others to escape. Nathalie looked over at Caline, the Jedi Knight had already taken it upon herself to modify all their looks, so they wouldn’t be recognisable. Alix and Lila had quietly agreed to put a pause on their ‘rivalry’ until they were somewhere safe.
“We’ll need to be careful,” Muttered D’Argencourt, “The Clones don’t appear to be actively looking for us.”
The three Jedi and two apprentices quickly and quietly made their way to a transport and smuggled themselves on.
“Remember, we’re heading to Mandalore.” Murmured Nathalie, looking at the other Jedi, “May the Force be with you.”

The Truth 4
[1 The Truth] [2 Soul] [3 Through a Shattered Mirror] [4 Healing]
Healing
“Why are you asking me over again?” Asked Luka, following Marinette.
“It’ll be easier to explain when we get there.” Answered Marinette, waving a hand behind her. Luka chose not to ask about the red markings that were supposed to be gone.
“Does this have anything to do with the Guardians?”
“No, this is completely different.”
Luka frowned, stopping, “So, this hasn’t got anything to do with the alternate world you, Adrien, Alya and Nino got pulled into?”
Marinette froze, “Well, it does, but none of the guardians are involved.”
“Okay, what am I walking into?”
Marinette sighed, before looking around, “Okay, I may or may not have kidnapped my abused double, she’s going by Bridgette now by the way, we’ve managed to get her to talk about her world and, from what she told us, you were the one good factor before you left.”
Luka blinked, “Oh-kay, that wasn’t what I expected.”
“What were you expecting?”
“Anything that wasn’t you kidnapping your double? Something a bit normal!”
“Do you want to help or not?”
“Right, yep, Lead the way.”
H
Bridgette watched Odette conducted a trial for a Collector doll Marinette had made.
“And for the crime of being ugly,” Said Odette, grabbing a pair of scissors, “You are being eggs-et-cuted!”
The dolls head fell to the floor, the fluff spilling out of the hole on the head and body.
Bridgette reached out and grabbed a needle and some thread, just as Marinette popped up through the hatch and spotted the Collector’s decapitated state, “Seriously?!”
“I’m going to fix it.” Mumbled Bridgette, as Marinette entered the room fully, followed by Luka.
“Actually,” Said Marinette, gently taking the needle and thread, “I thought you’d like to hang out with Luka for a bit.”
Bridgette stared up at Luka, her heart fluttering slightly, “O-okay.”
“Great!” Grinned Marinette, grabbing Odette and exiting the room.
H
Adrien watched at the other him stared at a book in front of him, unlike Adrien, the other him had regressed to the age of a toddler like the other amoks.
“Maybe they created him a few weeks before Hawkmoth’s first attack.” Suggested Nino, as Shelly and Bubba wandered around the room.
“We’ve started calling him Aiden,” Said Adrien, frowning, “He’s taken to it well, but he’s a bit hard of hearing for some reason.”
“Have you had his hearing checked?” Asked Alya, looking up from her phone, “Oh, Mari’s on her way with Ode, she said something about leaving Bridge with Luka.”
Adrien frowned, ever since those Guardians had blown Luka off, he’d been distant, “Tikki did say something about the Luka of that world being remembered more fondly than the others.”
Something collided with Adrien’s leg, before a sharp pain emanated from his knee, “Agh!”
Bridgette ran away, giggling, as Adrien sat down and rubbed his knee, “Why does she do that?”
“I told her cats bite to show affection.” Said Marinette, dropping into a seat, “I’m meeting Su Han later, I’m going to ask him about manipulating Monarch’s wish again, try and get Bridgette and Aiden secured to this world.”
“Are you going to talk to him about those markings?” Asked Adrien, frowning.
“I’ll bring it up, it might be a permanent side effect of saving me from Monarch’s wish.” Murmured Marinette, looking up at the ceiling.
Adrien quietly wrapped an arm around her shoulders, while Odette dragged Aiden over to Bubba and Shelly.
H
Ladybug watched at the gloves and arms of her suit vanished, revealing the black swirls and lines that covered her skin.
“I’ve told anyone who’s seen them that they’re temporary tattoos.” Said Ladybug, as Su Han frowned at the markings.
“They’ll go away in time.” Said Su Han, “But, you may want to sit out of a few fights with this new Hawk Moth, just to be safe.”
Ladybug nodded, “What about Bridgette and Aiden?”
“Since the portal they came through was made by you,” Said Su Han, after a moment, “they would already be tethered to this world.”
Ladybug let out a small laugh, looking up at the Guardian, “That’s great. I was worried they’d be forced to go back.”
“They won’t and they can’t.” Responded Su Han, “Tikki and Plagg destroyed their world, as I am sure you are aware.”
Ladybug winced, before nodding.
“It is unusual for Kwami’s from one reality to destroy the Kwami’s of another.” Commented Su Han, looking over Paris, “We will continue to search the city for Hawkmoth, we will find them and reclaim the butterfly.”
Ladybug nodded, as Su Han vanished, before she launched her yoyo and swung away.
H
Marinette looked up as Bridgette and Odette played a game of snap, Felix and Kagami were performing magic tricks for the other toddlers, producing a toy rabbit, which quickly found it’s way to Aiden. Adrien was talking quietly with Nathalie, no doubt trying to find a way of forging two more birth certificates.
“Eh, things are gonna be fine.” Plagg made Marinette jump as he flew out of her shoulder, “Sugarcube’s already working on it.”
“That’s…” Marinette pause, “reassuring.”
“That other me was a nightmare.” Said Plagg, settling on Marinette’s shoulder, “He knew everything that was going on and did nothing. Half the crap the child went through was a nightmare.”
“What happened to the other Tikki?” Asked Marinette, looking down at her sleeping Kwami, “She hasn’t told me anything about what she saw.”
“She hasn’t told anyone.” Stated Plagg, “For all we know, she could’ve slapped the other her, or blew her up. No one will ever know.”
“What happened to the other people, the ones that were innocent?”
“Oh, they were transported over here and merged with their counterparts here.” Dismissed Plagg, as Luka dropped down next to Bridgette, the girl leaning into him as he pressed a kiss to her temple.
‘Yeah,’ Thought Marinette, shifting as Adrien sat down next to her, ‘Everything’s going to be alright.’

The Truth 3
[1 The Truth] [2 Soul] [3 Through a Shattered Mirror] [4 Healing]
Through a shattered mirror
As soon as the red flash of light dissipated, Marinette found herself at the bottom of a pile in the gym, with Nino, Alya and Adrien on top of her with someone’s hand being somewhere it shouldn’t.
“Okay, who’s hand is that?” Asked Marinette, wincing as someone’s knee dug into her spleen.
“Oh, sorry.” Said Adrien, as they all got to their feet.
“It’s fine, it’s fine,” Marinette brushed him off, “how did we get in here anyway?”
There was a shutter sound, making them all look towards an assembled crowd. Alya gaped at the double of her gaping back.
“What the fuck?” Said both Alya’s, as Marinette got up and dusted herself off.
“What year is it?” Asked Marinette, getting no answer.
“An Akuma sent you here?” Asked the second Alya.
“Yeah.” Said the first Alya.
“What year is it?” Marinette asked again.
“Why are you still with her?” Asked the second Alya, jerking her head towards Marinette.
“Ya- what now?” Asked Marinette, confused.
“After everything she’s done?” Continued the second Alya, ignoring Marinette.
“What’s she done that’s so bad?” Asked the first Alya, as confused as Marinette.
“She stole, bullied, stalked and even harassed Adrien!” Exclaimed the second Alya, “And that’s not even starting on what she did to poor Lila.”
Marinette rolled her eyes and looked around, quietly searching the crowd. Marinette spotted a scowling Lila and a scared looking Adrien.
“Mari’s never done any of those things. Who told you all that?” Asked the first Alya, putting her hands on her hips.
“Lila saw her doing all those things.” Said the second Alya, triumphantly.
“Did you check those with other people?” asked the first Alya, frowning.
“Are you saying I’m a liar?” Demanded Lila, pretending to be upset.
“Yes.” Was the first Alya’s response.
“What’s wrong with you?”
“How could you think that!”
“Not cool!”
“I think you should apologise to Lila.”
The four travellers just gaped at the class. Marinette finally spotted her double, before walking towards her. This Marinette was skittish and jumpy, she had bruises forming on her face and neck. This Marinette didn’t have the earrings.
“Girl, do you think you’ll be able to get us back?” Asked the first Alya, making everyone go silent.
“It’ll take me a little bit.” Dismissed Marinette, slowly pushing into her double’s mind. She caught some glimpses of how Lila tore her life apart, how Lila managed to turn her own parents against her, how she became a verbal and physical punching bag for her former friends and parents, how Chat Noir changed, he began to distance himself, and how Tikki later abandoned her for another. Marinette withdrew from her double’s mind, before flinging her arm out and opening a portal back home.
“Alright, let’s go.” Said Marinette, grabbing her double’s arm and guiding her through the portal. Adrien, Nino and her Alya followed them, before the portal collapsed, leaving the other group in a stunned silence.
The other Alya looked at her phone. She typed something into her search engine, before she paled and rounded on Lila.
“WHAT THE HELL!” Screamed Alya, glaring at Lila.
TASM
Marinette looked at her double, who was dragging her by the arm to her, their, parent’s bakery. Her double pushed open the door and pulled her behind the counter.
“Maman, I need to talk to you.” Said her double, as she approached her, their, mother.
“Marinette, we’ve talked about this,” Sighed Sabine, folding some dough over, “just because you were hit by a moped doesn’t mean you can have a pet.”
“Maman, I’d take good care of it.” Protested her doubled, before shaking her head, “Besides, I was talking about this.”
Sabine sighed and turned, before freezing at the sight of the bruised Marinette, “What the fuck?”
Both Marinettes stared at her.
“Go put a euro in the jar.” Commanded the unbruised Marinette, while Sabine stared at her.
“What happened this time? Another cloning incident or did you just kidnap someone who looks like you?” Demanded Sabine, looking at the unbruised Marinette.
“Akuma sent me and some friends to another universe and this version of me was abused so I liberated her.” Responded Marinette, proudly.
“You…kidnapped…an alternate version of yourself?” Asked Sabine, incredulously, “Why?”
“She was being abused?” Responded Marinette, as her bruised counterpart frantically looked around.
Sabine sighed through her nose, “Alright, take her upstairs. Your father’s making lunch and Ode is trying to ‘help’.”
Marinette beamed and grabbed her double by the arm and dragged her upstairs. Marinette halted at the sight of her father trying to calm a bawling Odette. Marinette had suggested Bridgette for the liberated Sentimonster, but she’d taken a shine to Swan Lake and wanted to be named after the princess. Odette had started, for the lack of a better term, aging backwards, until she physically appeared to be two-three years old.
“What…happened?” Asked Marinette, as her double tried to hide behind her.
“Odette accidentally dropped a bowl,” Answered Tom, as Odette bawled, “she’s now under the impression that she’s ruined lunch.”
Marinette frowned, before walking over to a cupboard and pulling out a bowl, “Ode, look.”
Odette looked up and spotted the bowl in Marinette’s hand and the cupboard full of bowls beside her, “What’s that?”
“It’s a cupboard, it’s where we keep the bowls.” Responded Marinette, before quickly pointing at a corner, “Oh, that’s a double from another universe that I liberated, and thought could live with us!”
Tom and Odette both looked at a bruised Marinette, before Odette bounded over to her, “Are you my new sister?!”
Bruised Marinette stared at the sentimonster, looking like an excited puppy. Meanwhile Tom looked at Marinette.
“You ‘liberated’ her?” Asked Tom, raising an eyebrow.
“She was being abused.” Said Marinette in response.
Tom sighed, getting an extra bowl out and put it on the table. After carefully filling the bowls and coaxing the new Marinette out of her corner, Sabine joined them.
“That Italian girl came by again.”
“What’d she want now?” Wondered Tom, as Ode watched the steam in awe as it floated upwards.
Marinette looked at her unbruised double, just as she knocked her glass over.
“Ah, fuck.” She froze, before looking at Ode.
“Fuck?” Parroted Ode, getting a groan from Tom and Sabine.
The bruised Marinette’s eyes darted around the room, she knew that groan. Her parents always made that noise whenever they punished her. Before she could restrain herself, she launched herself from her seat and scrambled to the smallest opening she could find.
Marinette looked at her abused double, lost for words. Sabine gently knelt down in front of the opening where her daughter’s double had squeezed herself into. The girl trembled and flinched as Sabine moved closer to her.
“Marinette?” Murmured Sabine, addressing her daughter’s double, while her daughter crouched behind her.
The double whimpered, as the rings around Marinette’s irises glowed red. She tilted her head, as she sifted through her doubles mind. She’d seen what she’d been put through by her classmates doubles, and everyone she knew, but she never saw what her parents doubles had done.
She soon regretted looking through those memories. Verbal, emotional, psychological, physical. Any form of abuse her double had received, her parents had given. Marinette’s stomach turned, Tikki and Fu both held her double responsible for the abuse she’d received.
Marinette frowned, before looking at her bag, she felt Tikki press into her mind. Tikki silently raged. Marinette winced, knowing what Tikki would convince Plagg to do. Ode crawled past Marinette and Sabine, before squeezing into the crawl space with the bruised Marinette.
“Hi!” Said Ode, waving a cookie, “Cookie?”
The bruised Marinette stared at the senti-monster, before cautiously taking the cookie from her.

Alya seethed, thinking about Lila’s lies, how Agreste knew and said nothing, how they forced her to turn on Marinette. But first, she needed to get her back and keep her safe from those monsters that took her. Adrien had tried to use Marinette as an excuse, Lila ‘harassing’ him. Alya scoffed, men couldn’t be harassed, they couldn’t be victims. Adrien was a spinless, weak, pathetic loser that didn’t deserve any friends.
Alya felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned and saw her double glaring at her, “This is going to hurt.”
Then her double punched her, knocking her to the ground.
“Als, we need to go.” Said someone, Alya was too busy holding her broken face to see Nino guiding Adrien through a portal.
Alya only removed her hands when the world started to dissolve around her. Soon, Alya found herself in a massive, empty space. No sound, no touch, no taste and no light, no movement. Alya tried to scream, only for her mouth to not make a sound.
Unknown to her, everyone in their class and immediate circles were scattered across this void. Some thought of it as hell. Others were demanding to know why they were being punished.
None of them seeing the two Kwami looking down on them.

The Truth 2
[1 The Truth] [2 Soul] [3 Through a Shattered Mirror] [4 Healing]
Soul
“You want me to do what?!” Demanded Felix, glaring at Ladybug.
“I want you to hand over you amok, so I can extract the feather.” Answered Ladybug, “I found a thing in the miraculous spell book that could turn amok feathers into souls.”
“That sounds safe.” Snarked Kagami, folding her arms and looking down at Ladybug and Felix, “What’ll happen if it goes wrong?”
“I dunno, it didn’t say.” Answered Ladybug, practically vibrating on the spot.
“Why me? Why not one of the other Amoks hanging around?” Demanded Felix, as Ladybug looked towards the corner, where Mayura’s Ladybug sentimonster sat teaching herself to read.
“Because they have the minds and attitudes of small children.” Answered Ladybug, “that, and I like you the least.”
Felix and Kagami stared at Ladybug.
“That’s nice.”
“You have no idea what you’re doing, do you, Marinette?”
“Nope.”
Felix glanced at Kagami, before handing his ring over to Ladybug. The heroine almost immediately took the ring and started talking a mile-a-minute. Felix felt a burst of energy and had a tingly sensation run through him, as Ladybug curled the fingers of the hand not holding the ring and made and almost pulling motion. A dazed flash of light and a white Amok feather floated in the air. Ladybug wiggled her fingers and the feather turned into a ball of light, before Ladybug gently pushed the glowing ball into Felix’s chest. Felix felt the light lodge itself somewhere inside him, before the strange tingling had vanished.
“Hey, it worked!” Celebrated Ladybug, grinning.
“How do you know that?” Demanded Felix, before Ladybug pricked him, “Ow!”
Felix glared down at his hand, a small bead of blood welling on the finger tip.
“Amok’s don’t bleed.” Said Ladybug, before looking at Kagami, “You’re next.”
Kagami looked hesitant, before handing her ring over. Ladybug repeated the process, before planting the orb from Kagami’s ring into her chest. Kagami took the pin from Ladybug before she could prick her.
“I can do it myself.” Said Kagami jamming the pin deep into her finger, “Mother fuck-!”

Felix and Kagami watched Marinette try and wrangle the newly humanised senti’s ran around. Bubbler, now just called Bubba, ran around with Senti-Nino, while Senti-Bug kept trying to put stuff in her mouth.
“Guys, a little help?” Asked Marinette, getting a laugh from Kagami, “Seriously, I’m used to one or two, three at the most, but seriously!”
“I thought you planned on making them toddlers.” Remarked Felix, as Senti-Bug wandered up to Marinette, holding a Swan Lake DVD.
“Hmm, what is it?” Asked Marinette, wincing as she rubbed the middle of her chest, as the toddler pointed at the Princess and then to herself, “Huh?”
“Me.” Said Senti-Bug, looking up at Marinette.
“You want to be called Princess?” Asked Marinette, frowning when Senti-Bug shook her head, “Swan? Lake?”
Senti-Bug kept shaking her head, making Marinette sigh, “Odette?”
The toddler nodded, before clambering up Marinette’s leg, making Marinette scoop her into her arms. Odette sighed and curled into Marinette, as Bubba tripped and fell onto Senti-Nino, who then fell onto Senti-Alec, now simply called Al, who fell on Senti-Gabriel, now called Gabe, who hit his head on a chair. Soon, the four toddlers were bawling.
“Oh, great.” Groaned Marinette, as Odette looked at them and said “Fuck.”
S
Adrien stared at the toddlers, watching Gabe trying to eat a tie, he turned and looked at Felix, Kagami and Marinette, with Odette trying to fit a large piece of cantaloupe into her mouth.
“This happened because Marinette felt bad?” Asked Adrien, fiddling with the Graham de Vanily rings.
“In all honesty, I’m not sure why they’re toddlers.” Shrugged Felix, as Kagami bounced Bubba on her knee.
Adrien bent down and picked Gabe up and frowned, “When were they created?”
Marinette frowned, “Mayura created Ode a year and a half ago, and Gabe, Al, Ni and Bubba were made a year or less ago.”
The four all stared at the toddlers, before the penny dropped.
“Holy shit.”
S
Marinette winced as her parents looked at Odette, Sabine was giving Marinette a quizzical look, while Ode pulled on Tom’s moustache.
“So, you were…cloned and you thought we’d adopt her?” Asked Sabine, as Marinette winced.
“Okay, I know that it sounds weird,” Said Marinette, “but I didn’t get pregnant, hide it from you and had a baby, without anyone knowing because that’d be impossible.”
“I think it’d be a bit more believable that a botched cloning incident.” Said Sabine, frowning, “But, if that’s what you want to tell us.”
“Maman, she’s a year and a half old, I was fourteen-fifteen then,” Argued Marinette, folding her arms, “I wouldn’t’ve been able to hide something like that from you.”
Sabine hummed, before looking at Odette, “There isn’t a birth certificate is there?”
“No, but Adrien said he’d look into it, since, er, Ode wasn’t the only one made.”
“Marinette,” Asked Sabine, slowly, “how many are there?”
“Including Ode?” Responded Marinette, “Five?”
S
Marinette watched Nino interact with Bubba and Shelly, the former Nino senti-monster. The rest of the class were milling around the room, while Al and Gabe were playing with some building blocks.
“It’s amazing that they have their own individual personalities.” Said Adrien, as Marinette fiddled with the tome.
“Maybe it’s because they’re now free, independent beings.” Suggested Marinette, flipping a page, “Ooh, Tòuguò pòsuì de jìngzi. That sounds promising.”
No one noticed the light red haze around Marinette and Adrien.
“What does?” Asked Alya, as she and Nino walked over to them, letting Bubba and Shelly play with the others.
“Tòuguò pòsuì de jìngzi.” Said Adrien, as the haze enveloped Nino and Alya, “It’s a spell in the tome.”
“Are you sure you should be using magic, girl?” Asked Alya, “Since the state Monarch left you in.”
“Su Han’s already checked, all the damage is practically gone.” Said Marinette, just before the haze flashed and the four vanished.
