Aww yes, Ritsu would absolutely hate to hear that! He doesn't really like his brother all that much and he especially doesn't like being compared to him like that. He really hoped that he could become your favorite, wishing that you would have reassured him that you prefer him over his brother.

The smile on his face instantly drops and he's just scowling now, visibly upset. How had Rei managed to worm his way into your heart like that? He really isn't happy about this in the slightest and your cheerful tone of voice just made him even more upset. It's like you were blind to his misery!

He thought you liked him more than anyone else, but now you say that you like Rei just the same?

You better make it up to Ritsu by letting him cling on to you even more than usual. He needs to feel like he still has a place in your heart

Yes omg the events we plan for! A to z is a great example of that! They need some experience in dating and being in love so won't you help them out by going on a date with them? It's purely for educational purposes of course! And everyone else is just sulking shdhdhd

But you know what event immediately came to mind as soon as I read this ask? Ring a bell.

For those that only play the eng version or don't know what this event is about :

If I remember correctly, she needs idols to star in like a wedding promotional event thingy. At the start of the story, Mao and Midori see Anzu looking at wedding pamphlets and magazines and they freak out because they think the producer is getting married. They immediately run and stumble on Leo, who also flips as soon as he finds out about this, yelling that he can't let you get married yet!

In the event, Eichi knows that you're actually just trying to gather some knowledge on wedding events for the job but doesn't tell the other three because he thinks it's really funny how they freak out about this entire thing, thinking that the producer is getting married. Keito is just standing there sighing at the other's antics and generally suffering

It all ends in a sequence where Anzu explains that it's only for a job. And for this job they have to try and make a sincere confession on camera ( I think that's what it was like? It's honestly been quite a while since that event came out so my mind is a little fuzzy on the details)

Sooo.... you know what I'm trying to get at, right?

You're in the enstars world, just trying to do your job, while absolutely everyone collectively loses their mind at the thought of you getting married to someone else. Just who could that lucky person be? How did they get close to you without any of them noticing? How could they possibly think they were worthy of you?

They're trying anything they can to prevent this "wedding" from happening. Honestly you've never seen them *this* hysterical before. It's absolute chaos all around and you're not getting any rest.

Obviously there are more level-headed/smarter people like Eichi, Keito, Tatsumi,,.... that realize you're not actually getting married and are just trying to do your job, but their mood definitely soured for a bit at the thought of it actually happening one day.

Things will calm down a considerable amount once you explain to everyone that you're *not* getting married anytime soon and that there's no reason to try and order a hitman on an anonymous person.

When you've chosen the idols for the job you may notice that the person they're describing in their "confession" is strangely similar to you. They also sound so natural while professing their love to this imaginary person too, how strange!

Also yes, you can definitely send in your own aus! I can't guarantee that I'll necessarily always have a lot to say about it but I'd love to read more of your ideas ^^

Thank you so much 🥹❤️ they are so fun to make, and it’s been really helping me stay motivated with my stories, too.

I use LiveCollage for my 3x3 grid— they have lots of other options as well. The 3x3 is just my favourite. I get my pictures from Pinterest and sometimes from aesthetic blogs on tumblr. As for how I generally construct and organise them, I focus on the main beats of the story/the main characteristics of the character I’m playing with; make sure my pictures follow a general colour palette of 2-3 colours (for instance, the fantasy wesper one is teal green and an amber shade of orange); and I try to have them radiate out from the centre. The most important point is usually in the centre, but there are some exceptions. A lot of it just comes down to if it looks balanced/good.

The fantasy au wesper story is actually based on world building of an original fantasy world I started when I was 18 (omg almost a decade ago 🫠). It centers around a small hamlet built up on a ridge, just barely scraping above a deeply enchanted woodland that is supposedly full of big bad creatures— the hamlet is able to become a kingdom of huge influence through the export of the minerals in the ridge that they mine/export through the use of the tunnel system/the river under the ridge. It is extremely taboo to enter the forest without economically sound and governmentally sanctioned reason. The old superstitions of the beasts in the woods are still strong over the people.

Naturally, there is a huge illegal demand to smuggle people and goods in and out of the wood to the wider world on the other side of the mountains. It's a great place for clandestine things, meeting forbidden lovers, or doing illegal things.

Enter, Kaz Brekker and his Crows.

They are well known by anyone that needs to know as the best gang for anything having to do with the woodland— they've become almost as mythologised as the beasts and magic of the woods. And there are, naturally, warrants out for their arrest by order of King Jan. There always has been, it seems. They've become symbols of freedom and the breaking of the superstition that keeps everyone on the ridge. Jesper is one of the best at living in and getting through the woods— what he doesn't know is that this is because he's half sprite. After his sprite mother was hunted and murdered, his father went to a witch when Jesper was small and repressed his magic and his memories. He was trying to protect him from the prejudice against the woodland creatures/sprites like his mother.

But, things like that can’t stay repressed forever. They find a way out— for Jesper, they come out in his uncanny ability to navigate the forest, his immaculate aim, and… and strange dreams of a young man that he just doesn’t understand. All Jesper knows is that he’s the most beautiful thing he’s ever seen.

Enter Wylan.

Prince Wylan Van Eck was sequestered away from the public when he was a small child after his mother “died”, to be hidden away in shame for his defect of being an illiterate invalid.

He lives a life of luxury, but it's a prison. and the world of royalty knows him only as The Ghost Prince of Ketterdam. A young Prince hidden away until a mysterious “curse” could be lifted from him. King Jan has been subjecting his son to all sorts of "cures" since he was young. Torturing him. And, for a long time, he’s been sending knights out on illegal poaching missions to steal woodland sprites/magical objects from the enchanted woods, hoping to find something that will fix him. Wylan, though, shows no sign of improvement. He does have a very active imagination, though— he has the most incredible dreams. Of the most beautiful man.

That’s the basics of it! It’s not currently in the works, really, just an idea that I love in a world that I’m really proud to have built. And now it’s a world where I get to play with my blorbos! There’s other stories taking priority now, but eventually, I’ll at least write out a few oneshots/chapters for the fantasy au!

I briefly took a break from the community in the second quarter of 2022 (I think I hit 1000 followers that time) as I needed to focus on myself and sort all my things out. I barely opened tumblr. I did sometimes but I wouldn't post anything. The break I took in 2022 was really good and I enjoyed it very much. I was silently active in the bts community. Just because I didn't post anything, doesn't mean I didn't know what was going on 🤣. Well last year was a roller-coaster for the bts armys and my personal life as well. So much happened lol!

I will post regularly now. Yes anon, more jikook moments posts are coming. Actually I'm in the midst of editing one moment ask so that will be out really soon!

I have actually seen a few misconceptions about me in a few asks that I received recently. FYI (to all my new followers) I have been here since 2021 and I'm a jikook and BTS based blog. It's actually the very first story (very first story, but tbh it's more of a prologue to the entire series) I ever posted on here when I started this blog back in may and i'm planning on it being my magnum opus heheheh

I'm gonna give some continuation into Stripper!Wakatoshi heheheheheh. This is sort of canon Wakatoshi?? He played volleyball in highschool and college but never went on to play professionally in this.

So, Wakatoshi... who has been asked by you if he wants to work at your establishment

And he's never really thought about it before.

But he knows he needs an actual job and rent is due soon.

And roommate Mattsun who has his fancy corporate job in marketing doesn't mind helping out and covering Wakatoshi's part of the rent at all, but Wakatoshi still feels bad because the townhome they share is definitely far from cheap.

But Wakatoshi doesn't even know if this is a good decision.

Nevertheless, he still takes your card when you give it to him. You tell him no pressure, he can take his time to think about it, but you'd be happy to have him if he accepts.

Tendou thinks it's a good idea, of course.

He won't shut up about it the whole time on the walk back from the restaurant.

"You'd be so good at it!" Tendou is telling him, "You're all big and strong! Ahhh, you'd have everybody swooning over you!"

"I can't dance though..." Wakatoshi tells him, "I can't dance regularly so I don't think I could even dance like the way I needed to for that."

"Ehhh, I'm sure they'll be lenient with you." Tendou shrugs before patting him on the back, "It's worth a shot though, isn't it? You could make a lot of money!"

"I guess..." Wakatoshi sighs when they reach the entrance to his townhome.

Tendou stands in front of him and puts his hand on his shoulder, a much more serious tone in his voice now, "You can do it, Miracle Boy. You can do anything you set your mind to. I hope you know that."

And Wakatoshi, for the first time in the conversation on this walk home, smiles.

His best friend always has his back no matter what. It's always been that way.

When Wakatoshi enters his home, he isn't expecting Mattsun to be there in the kitchen. It's late, and Mattsun usually has to put in longer hours at the office this time of year, but there he is, making a snack.

"Was wondering where you went off to. You left your gym bag so I figured it wasn't there..." Mattsun laughs.

"Drinks with Tendou." Wakatoshi answers, walking over to the glasses cabinet and pulling out one of their larger ones. If he wants to work out in the morning, he needs to stay hydrated so he isn't hung over in the morning.

"Ah? Did you have fun?"

"Somebody offered me a job."

Mattsun stops slicing the salami for his mini charcuterie board

"Oh?"

Wakatoshi nods and pulls your card out of his back pocket, wordlessly handing it over to Mattsun.

Mattsun knows exactly the place as soon as he reads the card.

"Oh, the girls at the office go to this place all the time! I've gone there for a few of their bachelorette parties," Mattsun's face lights up, "It's really nice too. Did someone try to recruit you?"

"The owner."

Mattsun is speechless.

"The owner, huh?"

Wakatoshi nods again before he takes a sip of his water.

"Weird," Mattsun's forehead creases, "I hear she's kind of elusive. I never saw here when I went there."

"There was some creep hitting on her at the restaurant so I had to step in."

Mattsun smirks, "Look at you being all Prince Charming."

Wakatoshi just continues to sip his water.

"So are you gonna take it?"

Wakatoshi shrugs, "Tendou thinks I should, but I don't know if it's a good idea."

Mattsun sighs. He knows Wakatoshi like the back of his hand after living with him for a few years, so he sees that Wakatoshi is nervous right now instead of indifferent to the entire thing.

"I think... that it wouldn't hurt to stop by there. See the place for yourself. Maybe introduce yourself to some of the other people who work there." Mattsun suggests as he hands him back the card.

Wakatoshi takes the card, examining it again.

There's the name of the club - Loveluxe - in white letters and it stands out from the deep blue-ish purple of the rest of the card on one side, with the address and phone number on the other side.

And your first name and personal phone number scribbled hastily in an empty spot in sparkly gel pen.

Mattsun asks if he wants to stay up and watch a movie he's been holding off on watching with him, but Wakaotshi declines.

Wakatoshi thinks about you as he's getting ready for bed.

He thinks about the way you looked so cute as you told him a little bit about the club you owned - he can't remember anything you said though - he was too distracted by the way your lips moved. The way the lace of your black bra was still playing peek-a-boo under your shirt and it took everything in him to not look down and offend you.

He thinks about the way you had smiled at him when you told him no rush to get back to you.

But he doesn't want to wait.

If Tendou and Mattsun think it's a good idea - he trusts them with his life - then it probably is.

Wakaotshi sits down on his bed and flips the card over and over in his hands again before he picks up the phone and dials your number.

A few rings into it and he's wondering if maybe he's making a mistake

He doesn't have any time to hang up though.

"Hello? Who am I speaking to?"

Your voice. It makes his heart do somersaults.

"This is Wakatoshi." He answers obediently.

"Ohhhh! Hi!" You say, and he can picture your perfect smile in his head as you say it, "What can I do for y--- OHMYGOD, PUT THAT DOWN, YOU TWO. I'M GONNA TAKE IT OUT OF YOUR PAYCHECK IF YOU BREAK ANOTHER LAMP!"

Wakatoshi pulls away the phone from his ear

"Sorry," You apologize, "I'm not usually like this. Some of the men that work for me are... chaotic." You sigh.

"It's fine," He smiles, "Um. I was wondering... if it would be alright if I stopped by? Maybe tomorrow morning?"

"Oh, yeah! We have our weekly meeting tomorrow morning too so you can meet everybody!"

Oh. He wasn't prepared for this type of answer.

"So is this a yes to my offer then?" You ask, and he can still see your smile.

"I think so?" He says hesitantly, "Maybe?"

You laugh and his cock twitches in his sleep pants.

so basically getting a book published looks like this:

write the book

have the book beta read by multiple people

edit and polish manuscript

send out queries to agents (basically a letter plus the first 10 pages of the book)

wait for an agent to ask to see the full manuscript & send it

wait for the agent to say they want to represent you

edit and polish manuscript more

agent sends submissions to editors of publishing companies

editor likes it and submits it to their acquisitions board

acquisitions board approves the sale

sign contracts

edits and revisions

book is printed and put on shelves

now, this is not like an exact thing. i’m not an expert, this is just what i’ve learned in the last month or so of exploring the publishing world.

i have to finish writing the book. i think I could probably be done by october. writing the book is the easiest part of the process. getting an agent could take months. i’ve seen some of their monthly stats. they get like 300 something queries and only ask to see 5 or 6 full manuscripts. they turn down plenty of authors after that. getting an agent is fucking hard. then your agent could find an editor who is interested but the acquisitions board says no. people generally say it can take anywhere from 6 months to 2 years for steps 10-13.

so… yeah. this is probably not going to be like you guys have the book in your hands anytime soon.

i mean the good thing is romance sells. queer romance is pretty popular right now, so you know hopefully that ticks boxes in my favor.

This is my weekend post I was too lazy to post about until today. Ill start it with a quick drawing I did in procreate. I can't draw while out of the house. Its just not my safespace but heres a drawing just to keep my blog somewhat art themed.

So I lived in Savannah all during my entirety of my social media hiatus. Quit doing art at that time. Now I kinda regret it. But since I've been away for 3ish years..omg I'm so jealous everything has grown sooo muuuch. So I get adverts all the time for the brand Vuori and last year maybe? we drove to Montgomery Al to explore since we live vaguely close and I had no idea that Vuori sold in real life locations and there they were at this one shop in Montgomery! I thought that was just some sort of internet brand (very expensive too btw) but I love the few items I got from there and I had been thinking about buying some of the same items but in different colors. Since I knew I was going to visit Savannah I had small hopes that maybe it was a bougie enough town to maybe have a boutique that also sold Vuori...sounded like that was too specific too happen. Thought maybe I'd drag by husband around river street while he complained I was taking too long looking for a specific brand that I'd never find..I also kinda wanted to try the OnCloud brand shoes too..I thought Onclouds would be more readily available for shopping purposes..anywho, we go to see a movie and afterwards since we were in the area my hubby was like "oh I wanna show you this store at the tanger outlets I saw the last time I was here" and lobehold!!! it was a store that sold both Vuori and Onclouds..in one store..I just about died..I don't want to tell you how much money I spent on 2 pairs of shorts, pants and a pair of shoes. Then we ran over to hottopic so I can buy another lougefly I dont need.

movie we saw btw was the Buzz Lightyear movie and I absolutely loved it. It was a great movie.

Then the next day we went and had brunch at the cutest little french inspired place called The Emporium. I'd never been before but I loved it.

Then we went to the art stores. Also hit up a super kroger which I miss tremendously and wish I had one nearby. I bought so much junk food to bring back with me. I am a bloated sugar bomb right now.

I did go check out the Sailor Moon Vans but didn't actually buy any.

Then we visited St Augustine Florida. We've gone on many trips where we were like "oh we should have brought the dog" and this time I was adamant we brought the dog. This was probably the time I really shouldn't have brought the dog. I was asking for parking tips on facebook because I get anxious about trying to find parking in new places and the local facebook let me have it about being a bad pet owner and taking my dog to walk on the beach when its hot outside. I ignored the haters because my dog has booties and a backpack! but it did shake me up 8( ngl. I did feel horrible for her. It was really hot outside but it wasn't the heat that got to her it was the fact that we went to the pirate museum and they had pretend canon fire and just within the past 2 years my dogs decided loud noises were going to scare her. The fake canon fire absolutely freaked her out. She didn't do anything, she just looked petrified the rest of the day. So we cut our day short. We did get to go on a tour which she looked like she had fun and we walked around the fort. But as soon as we did that one museum, any noise had her shaking and glued unable to move. Wasn't anticipating that. So anyway..it was overall a fairly good weekend.

You stare at him in complete horror. Surely...surely, he was just playing some sort of cruel joke on you...right?

"Are you really that surprised? Did you actually expect me to fall in love?" He scoffs.

"I—" You begin but get cut off by him as tears well up in your eyes.

"I was fucking created by a psycho god! My existence is not even human if you think about it. Feelings? Love? Yeah right! You really are naive aren't you? I still can not believe I was made to put up with someone as pathetic as you. The Tsaritsa sure had her fun making me act the part of the loving boyfriend." He sighs in pure frustration.

You choke on the sob you were trying your hardest to control and your knees give out from under you. So, you were just a puppet in the fatui's masterplan, and he was just sent in to do his job. You didn't mean shit to him. And he told you as such. Deciding to remain silent as the stream of endless tears roll down your face, your gaze shifts as you watch him leave, he just gives you one last cold exprionless look and turns around leaving you crying on the floor, because he really couldn't care less now that his job was done.

That is what he wants himself and you to think, but he finds himself digging the knife that was meant to kill you into the the skin of his own arm after making sure you were out of sight. He couldn't finish his job in the end, after all he put you and himslelf through.

Yae Miko

She chuckles in amusement watching you make a fool of yourself, trying to reason with her after your entire world came crashing down when those words left her pretty lips– the ones you loved to kiss, the ones that always made you smile, the ones now causing your torment.

"Now that I'm finally done with you, I can rest easy. Being with you was like having to force myself to breathe." She flashes you a close eyed smile.

You wanted to be angry with her. You wanted to scream at her to explain herself– to ask her why you? If you were so insufferable why did she stay with you for so long? Why did she lead you on for a whole year? Was she really that good an actress?

You didn't want to believe her. But she was making it painfully hard to not, she was so convincing. It didn't seem as though she changed or she was lying but she didn't sound genuine either. But then again, that is how she always sounds. Even her smile was the same as ever, there really was no figuring her out.

A mess of emotions, you try to muster the courage to look at her without breaking, but as soon as her unchanged calm and mischivious violet hues meet your own gaze for the nth time, you start bawling like a fool. Blubbering out incomprehensible speech, you can't put up a show in front of her, even if that was all she ever did.

Her eyes turn cold at the sight of you crying. She refuses to explain herself. All you know is that you were used. All you knew is that she never loved you. All you know is that she was throwing you away.

"You always did look better weeping, it makes you appear the way you truly are. Utterly pitiful." Her tone was laced with bitterness as she watched you, her stare transfixed on your glistening cheeks.

"I-is..th-that...all you...needed t-to say?" You stutter out between sobs, trying to pull yourself together.

"Yes." She replies without hesitance. Already starting to make her exit.

In your mind you curse yourself for letting that be the last thing you chose to say, as all your memories together flash across.

And just like that it was all over.

Yae closes the door behind in a quick motion before covering her mouth hurriedly and running away. She can not be seen like this. Especially by you. Not anymore.

She apologizes to you in her head, but she can't stick around to be your girlfriend anymore.

Kirishima sometimes sneezes so hard his whole body hardens by accident- like he’ll just poof up like a pufferfish. Sometimes he doesn’t even realise he’s hardened 💀 it’s adorable to watch the both of you jump confusion when he tries to lie back down but he ends up poking you

todoroki juggles with the ice he can make. There’ll be days where he is watching or listening to something and suddenly his right hand turns blue and there’s three small ice balls between tossed between his hands. someone started a competition to guess how long he could do it for and so far, Shoji is in the lead

iida has a habit of shushing you in his sleep. like maybe you’d wake up before him and be on your phone, he’d roll over all bleary-eyed and you’d know he was basically still asleep because his normal I’ve-just-woken-up-and-you’re-the-first-thing-I-saw smile isn’t there. he’d brush his fingers against your mouth all ‘mmfhm shhh don’t worryyy don’t worry i'll t-ake..care’ because even in his sleep he wants to make sure you’re okay at all times. his role as class rep really is perfect for him 😩

denki is so energetic. and so clingy. sometimes a bit too much but just tell him and he’ll bound off and give you your space. anyway because of his energy, he sometimes struggles to sleep and rest. before he could never find peace with it and sleep, so he started to ask you to take a long walk with him before bed. you’d go around the area around the dorms and the woods area and talk about literally anything and everything. sometimes you’d walk past houses and try to guess the names of the house owners.

shoji always wanted to help you. ALWAYS. if you were doing something that needed a bunch of tools like your makeup, or cooking, or building something like a new dresser after you told aizawa your old one broke, shoji would come RUNNING. ‘hey y/n can I help you?’ and the way he helps is he holds everything you need for you, and hands it over as soon as you need it.

sero absolutely loves using his tape to drag you to him. if you’re across the room from him he’ll  loosely wrap it around your waist, and then pull you in towards his body with a smirk on his face. his favourite time to do this is when he’s in his hammock and you’re standing across his room, he’ll just pull you along no matter what you were doing or holding so he could hold you. another thing he’d do is pull you in for a hug and then suddenly tightly  wrapping his tape around the both of you like a snake, only smiling cheekily when you give him a questioning look.

midoriya is so cute oh my lord. he's absolutely adorable. we all know he loves his note-taking and if you don't know, he also takes invisible notes when he doesn't have his books. once he got close to you, you became his new notebook. kind of. if you're dating midoriya you need to be able to handle his chattering. he'd do the boy thing and lean into your face so his breath is brushing your cheeks and not realise that he's making you flustered. 'hey y/n did you see the way mount lady did that? she runs and makes sure she has space to not step on anyway y/n what if she ever stepped on anyone what would the hero handbook say can you imagine??'

tokoyami would fluff his feathers omg i'm just imagining it and its the cutest thing ever holy shit. and he normally only does it when he lays down in your lap. he'd fall asleep resting on your thighs and then get up, just to stretch out his legs and back, change positions, oh and shake his head to fluff out his feathers. the first time you saw him doing that you literally stopped breathing in surprise, it was so cute. nobody else knew he did that until denki walked in on tokoyami curled in on your lap and your boyfriend chose that exact time to do his little birdy wiggle. best believe denki ran out gleaming to share the new information

shinsou takes you on a walk, to one place specifically. and this one place is a little secluded area in the park literally filled with cats of all sizes and shapes. according to shinsou all of these cats have names and favourite foods and favourite ways to be petted and their favourite person is shinsou himself! okay that changes a bit when you get involved too, but shinsou isn’t a jealous person especially when it comes to cats obviously. these are your favourite moments with him because as i’ve said before, shinsou values privacy so this is where he lets himself relax in public. when he’s comfortable he pulls you onto his lap or tucks you onto his side or lays his head on you. he’ll litter kisses on your neck whilst you stroke the kittens as per his instructions of what they like. he even picks up each kitten and says hi, pecking them on the nose when you two arrive, god my heart that’s so cute. when you leave the kittens would all meow briefly before teetering away, as you make shinsou promise to bring you back

Oh my goodness, Overhaul- I was SO obsessed with him this time last year ! He was the reason I made this blog and he got me into writing dead dove: do not eat myself - he's just that special 🥺 He's just so pretty and terrible, I want him to piss on me 💖

I have an Overhaul piss wip that just needs a proper beginning where he IS absolutely disgusting and I want to get it out so bad because it's all abuse with no love 😌

And I agree! Even though he has germo- and mysophobia, he'd be one of the filthiest. The thing is - a lot of people write him as some medical... semi-professional and I have more than two cents to say about that haha (not in a bad way, I LOVE everyone's Kai takes on here, I just have some of my own). I'm in dental- close-ish to residency, actually - and I was squeamish before starting dental school. Nothing close to a phobia, of course, but definitely shy around any type of bodily fluid. I clearly remember when we skinned our body donor and how dead her eyes were, how I scraped out three-year-old feces out of her. I fainted during my first tumor resection and then again during my first big teeth extraction (4 premolars on a 14 yo. Poor dude, I was more scared than he was omfg). I've had patients urinate in the seats. I've done fillings and root canals on very young patients with abysmal dental hygiene and absolutely rotten teeth, I've had a lot of pre- and post-radiatio patients, we've had more MRONJ patients than I'd like-- thing is, medical is absolutely disgusting.

But once I have my gloves on, it's me and that nitrile against the world. By the end of the body donor course we touched them without any protection, and now the smell of a working bone saw is at least bearable. I get blood everywhere and it is what it is. If you follow protocol, it becomes just another routine for you. And it's pretty much fanon that he's into all sorts of weird medical shit - so it'd definitely become routine for him as well. Not that he'd take the gloves off, no. But I can totally see him getting into more unsavory stuff over time - piss being one of them.

And the catheter and fear wetting is SO juicy. Up until now I pegged him as the "piss punishment" type - golden showers to humiliate you, forced urophagia while physically abusing you, stuff like that. But him fucking you up so bad that you develop some form of incontinence is so hot?? It'd make you even more dependent on him, both out of shame and necessity - because you're even more rotten now. 🥴

God, I can really see it.

Also- I hate hate hate catheters. Oh my god that'd be SO terrible. How disgraceful, oof 😳 To be 'babied' in that very special Overhaul-way, oh goodness. Like- he wouldn't even need to shame me for that one, I'd be mortified even without his snark (but of course he'd have to needle you about that constantly- all under the guise of check-ups.) So good-

I think about him a lot, but clearly not often enough about him being disgustingly dark (more soft-ish dark, but I need to change that. Definitely have to re-read the OH arc again soon, the catheter stuff is just- god-tier)

I've written dentist Overhaul (could you imagine? He'd scream at you in the chair because your dental hygiene is god awful and he'd refuse local anesthesia while doing fillings so you learn your lesson, heh. Also instead of two annual check-ups, he orders you in four times a year... Poor you. Also: Think about those nitrile gloves in your mouth. Just think about it. And then think about them fingering you (different set, of course.) He wouldn't even want to kiss you, you're just so disgusting to him 🤭), I've written dentist reader and creepy Kai as a character study (because he'd be obsessed with the cleanliness that comes with the job), medical student Overhaul who is basically a poor little thing not able to stomach the anatomy practical (you know the one where you cut up body donors) and reader as his senior basically laughing at him and I am obsessed with him as this awful yandere with a chubby darling (he's just staring all the time. ALL the time. And of course he'd be weird about it, too.) Most of these are for my vanilla blog though- and rn I don't have the muse to finish them (except for that yan OH, that NEEDS to be out some day.)

You’re a bit shy, and Kuroo totally respects that! He doesn’t want you to feel forced into anything you’re not comfortable with, so after a quick kiss goodnight, the two of you settle in to sleep completely separate 

(after chattering for a bit before you drift off)

Then he wakes up in the middle of the night, and he’s really confused for a second. There’s something sort of… clinging onto him, and in his half-asleep state he has no clue what’s going on

He pushes the pillows he’s sleeping between aside, and sees none other than you, your arms wrapped tight around his middle with handfuls of his t-shirt clutched in your hands

He bites his lip to hold back the huge grin that’s creeping onto his face

Abandoning his pillows, he shifts just a little so that he’s in a more comfortable position for you, and you unconsciously scoot just a little closer

He wraps his arm loosely around your middle and happily falls back asleep just like that - you’re so soft and warm against him, it isn’t difficult

In the morning, you wake up still cuddled together, and after you get over your slight embarrassment you gladly let him pepper your face with kisses

From now on, cuddling will probably come a little easier

KAGEYAMA

He’s a bit shy on affection himself, so beyond holding hands and super light cuddling, the two of you haven’t done much else involving contact - you’re both fine with taking things super slow

However when you end up spending the night at his place, neither of you is willing to let the other sleep on the floor, so you have to compromise and share the bed

When Kageyama wakes up and realizes what’s happening, you can bet he’s beet red immediately, but when he calms down a little he realizes that it’s actually really, REALLY nice

He feels almost guilty doing so, but he snuggles right back against you, enjoying the way you smell and the way your skin feels against his and wondering why he never got the guts to do this before

The next morning, it’s your turn to be red and to apologize profusely, but he grabs your hands and makes you stop

“What’re you apologizing for?”

You think for a little, then shrug, then you hesitantly bury your face in the crook of his neck - he doesn’t mind this either

AKAASHI

He’s not super touchy-feely himself, so he’s more than content to let you take things slow in that regard! The last thing he wants is for you to be uncomfortable and he constantly assures you that it’s okay to go at your own pace - that’s what relationships are all about

When it comes down to sharing a bed, you’re the one who suggests it, and he is of course all for it. He lets you take the lead in how closely you lay, and will definitely play with your hair until you fall asleep

In the middle of the night, he wakes up and he’s THIRSTY. But when he moves to get out of bed he realizes that he’s kinda… stuck. When he sees your face pressed against him, he instantly gets so soft

You’re hugging his arm and it might be the cutest thing he’s ever seen - it’s a good thing you’re asleep because he does not want you to see the goofy smile that’s on his face

The next morning, you end up having a full on cuddle session because after waking up curled against him like that, you suddenly don’t feel quite so nervous anymore

BOKUTO

He is so excited to be having a sleepover with you, and he’s more than happy to just lay in bed, nose to nose, talking and laughing (even though you try to be quiet) - he doesn’t need anything more

He doesn’t even really realize he fell asleep until he wakes up and feels your legs tangled together with his. Your arms are reaching halfway around his middle and you’re so soft and warm

His heart busts a phat uwu (I’m sorry but if there was a better way to describe it I would have used it)

He literally cannot get over how cute you are in this moment, your sleeping face is so peaceful and you reach for him whenever he moves a bit

When morning comes, he’s already grinning at you when you wake up, and to his surprise, even when you’re awake you scoot a little closer - it’s even more adorable when you hide your face in his chest

OIKAWA

Oikawa is very attuned to you, and always makes sure not to do anything that you might find uncomfortable - he reads your reactions very carefully

When you have to share a bed, he just holds your hand, brushing his thumbs across the back of it and talking softly with you until you’re both drowsy enough to fall asleep

In the middle of the night when he wakes up to find you cuddled up to him, he thinks he must be dreaming at first

Soon he realizes he’s not, and with you actually snuggled up to him, he feels instantly peaceful and content - you just have that effect on him. He wraps his arms around you and can’t resist pressing one small kiss to your forehead before drifting back off

And the next morning, he’ll be brushing the hair out of your face with the most adoring look in his eyes. It takes you a little to realize that you’re still snuggled up against him, but when you figure it out you don’t bother to move away. Instead, you hold on a little tighter, and that’s all it takes for him to press kisses all over your face

I’m really sorry this took so long to answer I have been having the hardest time with executive dysfunction lately (ironically) and I procrastinated answering.

Hackning your executive dysfunction ✨

+Study edition📚📝

#1 Learn your triggers and how to spot executive dysfunction🧠

A lot of times I can tell that certain circumstances makes my executive dysfunction worse. And recognising these ”triggers” can help you become more aware of your behaviors. Knowing what contributes to your executive dysfunction will help you work towards creating strategies to overcome it.

A few examples of my triggers:

Not getting dressed in the morning

Skipping meals🍳

Working from home 🏡

Not washing my face in the morning🧼

Not using my calendar 🗓

Skipping workouts 🏋️‍♀️

Not brushing my teeth

Now a lot of these are tied to my physical health and hygiene and sometimes these are things that my exectutive dysfunction keep me from doing. But I try to look at them as medicine. I have to eat and brush my teeth and workout because it makes my brain and body happy. It’s hard but with practice you’ll get there.

By avoiding your triggers you’re at least setting yourself up for succsess. As silly as it sounds. Getting dressed in the morning can make the difference between lying on the couch all say and having anxiety because I haven’t gotten anything done and actually being productive and beating my executive dysfunction.

#2 Plan everything and write it down🗓✏️

I have a lot of issues with working memory. It’s just not there a lot of days. I forget everything. When I’m trying not to forget things, I’m spending a lot more energy than non ADHD people just trying to remember. Now this is a lot of energy that you can save by simply writing it down. Use a planner or a to do list or fifty of them if you have to.

I use a very simple system for this. I take a piece of paper and write ”to do” then I make 2 seperate colums. Above the first I write ”overall” or something like it. There I write down literally everything I can think of. ”Study” ”shower” ”laundry” ”make to do list” ” ”put away dirty socks” ”think about what to make for dinner” whatever, big or small.

Once that list is finished, I write above the second column ”today” and I pick from the first list what things I need/want to have finished on the same day. Try not to go overboard with this one. Think baby steps. It’s easy to become excited and think that you’re going to do everything because you often will get a burst of energy from planning stuff but stick to maybe 4-5 things a day at first.

Now the hardest part is to keep doing it. Usually you do really good for 2 weeks and then forget about it. Especially when the benefits are starting to show, you tend to forget your system because things are doing so good and then you stop and end up right where you started.

The way I (sort of) solved this was to make weekly ”evaluations”. What I do is I sit down and evaluate how much I planned this week and how much of what I planned I actually acomplished. By doing this I held myself accountable.

#3 ”The one thing” strategy

Now if all else fails despite your best efforts and you have no energy or motivation to do any of the things you want/have to, this is a good strategy to get yourself into a more productive mindset or at least check one thing of your to-do list.

It’s pretty much self-explanatory. You pick one thing and one thing only, even if you have a mountain of things that has to get done. Ignore them. All of them. They don’t exist anymore, they’re poofed out out existance for now.

Instead put your energy into doing one productive thing. After you finished the one thing you’re done. 100% done. No more doing stuff for you. You get to throw yourself back in bed if you like, or get a snack, whatever.

What usually happens however is that you’ll feel more energized and motivated by having completed a task and you’ll feel like continuing. If that’s the case, GREAT, if not you at least got 1 thing done instead of nothing.

#4 Find a studying technique that actually works for you🔑

I’m going to be brutally honest with you. This right here☝🏻☝🏻☝🏻is what made the difference between passing and not passing my exams this year.

I struggled for a really long time with my studies, No matter if I spent 5 hours reading a text book it just. Didn’t. Stick. And I used to get so upset because I was trying sooooo hard and everyone else could do it so why not me? It really lowered my motivation because no matter how hard I tried I always failed.

I watched hundreds of ”how to study” and ”study tips” videos on youtube and read tumblr posts but I still never really understood why I was having such a hard time until I tried using flashcards and it changed my whole view on studying.

It turned out I wasn’t stupid or lazy. I could understand everything on the page but as soon as I had read it, it was gone. I couldn’t remember any of it so it didn’t matter that I actually understood the subject quite well because I could never remember the contents.

What changed the game for me entirely was switching entirely over to flash cards and memory based studying. I went from failing entirely to actually getting really good results.

(A lot of people with ADHD struggle with memory so I would suggest always incorporating a lot of ”memory based” studying even if your best study technique is based on a different strategy)

The moral of the story is that sometimes we struggle without knowing why and it’s only by trying new things that we find out that maybe we weren’t lacking the ability as much as we thought, we just needed the right key to unlock it.
