Hello hello!! I was wondering if I could request a romantic matchup for Obey Me, if you're ok with that of course.

I'm a trans man (he/him), demisexual and bisexual, I'm an INFP-T and a Cancer sun + Virgo moon. I see most people describe me as kind and gentle, and I do my best to be a good support, sort of the "mom friend". Though I also tend to be overly critical of myself and others, though I try to keep my thoughts to myself. I'm also a bit of a perfectionist, I get burnt out of things if I'm not immediately good at them, and I like having a daily schedule I keep to.

I love drawing, sewing, crocheting, baking and sometimes reading. I like repetitive tasks with a high reward, so I really enjoy hand stitching and shiny hunting in pokemon. I also enjoy journaling out my thoughts, and in past relationships I've often written out my own short poetry and sent them to my partner when I've been thinking about them.

I get nervous around loud people and big crowds. I like staying home most of the time, as that's where I'm most comfortable. Though I do like quieter places like cafe's, libraries and walking in the woods. I struggle with anxiety and ptsd, so in a relationship I need to feel safe and seen/heard, I wouldn't do well with someone untrustworthy or emotionally cold.

I think my biggest love language is words of affirmation, though I also highly value quality time and physical touch. I'm not very big on gift giving, as I don't really see the need for it since my partner would be all I need, really. I'm not the best conversationalist, but I do my best to make sure my partner knows I'm there for them, and I want to be reassured that they're there for me as well.

Appearance wise, I'm about 5'3" in height. I have a tannish skin tone close to Mammon's, I have short curly hair which is colored dark brown, and I have medium brown eyes. I often dress in dark academia fashion.

He’s far too complicated for his own good to be matched up with him immediately, but eventually (with a little help from Asmo mostly because he was done watching you two squabble with all that potential love in the air without being recognized also everyone else was begging him to finally get his Masters together) you come together and form a new relationship that you navigate not so seamlessly, but it’s with him

You both are into a lot of the same things, especially after you introduced him to some of your favorites like Dungeons and Dragons (spoiler: explain it’s a board game to Lord Diavolo next time you try to bring it up after the last disaster and how Lucifer still isn’t over it) and general high fantasy related things, it allows Solomon to incorporate its odd methodical challenges into his experiments. He loves gifting you gemstones, but he likes to turn them into little hide and seek games with the gemstones every time he does get you one, makes it much more interesting and fun for the two of you

It’s canon: never let this man make you anything, and I mean ANYTHING. Your shady sorcery man can make purple soup without the food coloring purple. Just tell him you favorite restaurant to get said food, trust me, you will not get far in teaching this man to even use a coffee maker. The immortal being we call Solomon is not all that wise. Emotionally speaking, he’s still trying to reconnect to something he’s detached himself for anyone else other than a select few for thousands of years. So of course, he’s slow to know your emotional needs right away, but he’s not stupid to not see your obvious tells. He just didn’t know what they mean at first, so his first reaction is to poke and prod. He’s just that curious, not actively trying to make it worse, but that is unfortunately where it’ll head to first. Don’t worry though, he’ll develop and method that works for the best for many scenarios after he causes this whole fiasco. I mean, every location scenario when you’re coming down hard in the feels? He’s got at least three default plans to try so you’re not feeling so terrible anymore

Texting Series | Obey Me

As my love for Beel grows, so will my list of these chapters :)

I hadn’t played Obey Me in a really long time, but for some reason the other day I started thinking about Mammon and Solomon and now I’m madly in love with Simeon. So I decided, in spare time, why not write a new series?

I haven’t quite decided if I’m going to do every single chapter on this list or not. However, if I decide to not do a certain chapter, with time I’ll simply delete it from the list; however I plan on doing almost every single chapter as I do with the other characters.

Could We Be In A Fairy Illusion?

The following post has spoilers up to S3 of OB and Lesson 32 of NB

This theory was heavily inspired by @jackalopesao3’s theory here and @misc-obeyme’s lesson summary here!

Both these posts are great reads and absolutely worth your time!

On to the theory!

This has happened before

In S3 of OM Simeon, Satan and MC are taken under an illusionary spell where they are in the Celestial Realm. Where Satan gets some much needed closure about what his family was like when they were angels.

Something important to note is that everyone acts very much in character for their angel selves. Which is kinda odd since these fairies would have no idea how they’d act. Perhaps taking the memories of Simeon and Satan to form this world.

Satan dubbed “Sully” and MC when interacting with the brothers are told they feel like they’ve know each other before.

…Feel familiar?

Lil D’s are fairies

Taking Jackalope’s theory and flipping it a bit, what if Nightbringer is Barbatos’s spiritual counterpart?

Any demon could have a Lil D but the phenomenon is incredibly rare. The Lil D’s seem to behave and like the same things as their demon counterparts; No. 4 likes to read and was very angry, No. 6 loves to eat, No. 3 is hardly ever seen, and No. 5 has tons of self confidence.

The only one who doesn’t act too much like their counterpart is No. 2 but I’m assuming it’s because his character was created before the “Lil Ds are spiritual counterparts to demons” plot point.

And although never mentioned, it’s a safe assumption that a spiritual counterpart of a demon would share those demon’s powers.

Is Nightbringer a fairy?

I genuinely believe Nightbringer is a fairy. Not only have we’ve received the most info about fairies in NB, we’ve also been told they’re important to the overall lore of ObeyMe. Being the people who originally ruled the Devildom, having direct ties to the lore of demon royalty, and are the open secret origins of the Lil D’s. Fairies are important. I don’t think it’s a coincidence we’re suddenly getting more fairy lore in the same game where Nightbringer makes his debut.

“Nightbringer calls himself a demon, so he can’t be a fairy!”

The Lil D’s call themselves demons but they’re actually fairies. Nightbringer also calls himself a demon, and is referred to as a demon. Barbatos describes the origin of Lil D’s as an “open secret”. If a being looks like a demon and refers to themselves as a demon, you’re going to call them a demon. Hence the “Father of demons” title Nightbringer has.

If Nightbringer is a fairy that would make what Solomon says here make sense.

Why would he tell a demon they sound like a demon? Why would a demon be offended by that?

Barbatos’s own fairy counterpart

In a video call Diavolo asks Barbatos if he has a fairy counterpart and gives a non answer. Diavolo has the ability to tell if someone is lying and Barbatos is very aware of this. Given Diavolo’s reaction, he’s under the impression that Barbatos does have a fairy counterpart.

Although Lucifer calls him out for dodging Diavolo’s question for his amusement, he doesn’t imply that Barbatos is being dishonest.

Barbatos is also the one who knows the most about fairies and their “opened secret” origins. He knows where they come from and how they came into being. He’s also upset at Solomon for being 8th on a list of demons he wanted to make a pact with. If Nightbringer is Barbatos’s spiritual counterpart, he’d be the eighth spiritual counterpart we’d know.

In fact Barbatos here has similar dialogue to No. 2, who says something along the lines of “just call me No. 2 instead of Lil D”

Not in our own world

There has been plenty of evidence of things not being as straightforward as just being in the past.

The constant déjà vu everyone is feeling about MC and their room, characters who shouldn’t be around (Thirteen, Simeon and “Raphael”) and characters who shouldn’t be alive at all (Luke)*.

Nightbringer calls the past “this world” which would be an odd thing to say if we were just in the past. It would still be our world, even if we were in the past.

Very often has the cast spoken about how familiar MC is and how their room feels so comforting. It’s happened so many times that if I tried to screenshot every instance it would go over the photo limit. In fact this feeling is growing stronger.

Conclusion

I truly believe in this theory. I believe that Nightbringer is a fairy who’s Barbatos’s spiritual counterpart.

Unfortunately I can’t go into his motives or his relationship with Solomon because the game hasn’t done that either LOL

*Let me justify my Luke take because I’ve seen people go back and forth. Luke has spoken several times about how he doesn’t know why Michael still cares about the brothers after everything they’ve done, which to me implies he never knew them personally when they were angels. He also has never brought up Lilith whom he’d be very aware of if he was originally alive during the time NB takes place.

Quiet Sunday

Okay Flor @raincoffeeandfandoms, I got carried away with my Moodboard here! But rainy Sundays are my absolute favorite combination! A day with nothing to do, unless you make plans, to otherwise just enjoy a rainy day! Congrats on your 2.2k milestone!

Sunday.

Out of all the days it was the most looked forward to in the Shelby family. Your portion of it anyway, for vastly different reasons you were sure from Arthur and Linda’s household.

It was the only day that everyone had figured out, after a good tongue lashing or two for stealing Tommy from your company on a Sunday, not to disturb your family.

As you made your way down the hall, a sweatshirt and leggings making you far more decent than the way Tommy left you in bed this morning to fall back asleep and enjoy some peace and quiet, you heard…nothing.

No sound of Frances vacuuming, no video game noises and boys hollering coming from Charlie’s room.

Nothing.

Just silence.

You quickly knocked twice on Tommy’s office door before peeking your head in, loose pieces of hair falling in your face as you waited for him to look up from the papers he was holding.

He looked more relaxed than usual, feet propped on his desk, skimming something for who knows what.

“C’mon then, love.” He nodded as he spoke, messy dark hair still unkept from when he got up, and thankfully for whoever else may have been in the house (had Finn ended up staying last night?), he was dressed in some lounge pants and a tee shirt.

You grinned, letting the door click closed behind you, and he let his feet fall from the desk to give you clearance to crawl into his lap.

“It’s quiet.”

The chuckle reverberated through his chest as he tucked you under his chin, discarding the papers on the desk.

“Rare anymore.” His agreement made a nostalgic feeling stir in your chest.

Rain pattered against the windows as you shifted, trying to get comfortable. “I miss getting up and finding you and your boy out in the stables on a Sunday morning, Tom.”

He huffed, “He’s your boy too, eh? Too worried about what his uncle and his friends are doing now.”

The fire crackled as the rain hammered against the roof, playing a sweet tune with the metal of the roof.

“He went with Finn?”

“I don’t think they can manage to get up to too much on a Sunday. Pol wanted them round to help with moving some furniture.”

Two soft taps on the door had you straightening up slightly, perched on Tommy’s leg as he informed Frances she could come in.

“Mrs. Shelby, would you like breakfast this morning?”

Tommy’s fingers felt like they were going to wear a hole in your leg as he kneaded at your thigh.

“No thank you, Frances. Maybe just some coffee. No rush, I’ll be down to get it.”

It was the first of the month, which meant going over the Itinerary (which, how could you small family of three be so busy?), planning the menu, you needed to sort the bills, the bookkeeper needed last months bank statements…

“What do you say we go to that book shop you like, eh?”

His eyes glimmered at the suggestion. You knew your hair would never survive this rain, and you already had how many rooms full of books—

“Is…” you could already see his inclination to roll his eyes as you tapped your chin with your pointer finger, the light of the fire glimmering in the nothing short of obnoxious ring that he had replaced twice with something “better” than the previous one, “Thomas Shelby OBE MP, asking me on a date?”

“Hmm,” his thumb brushed along your cheek, brow quirking as you were sure he was going to use the same line he always did in response, “don’t tell me wife.”

As if on queue, Tommy’s phone started to vibrate across the table, and you couldn’t contain the laugh anymore, “I wouldn’t dare.”

Your smile was contagious, and you left Tommy with whatever was so fucking urgent for Alfie Solomons to be calling him on a Sunday while you went to the kitchen to retrieve your coffee.

I think Nightbringer might be a past version of Barbatos when he was just traveling around doing whatever. He said he’s trying to atone for what he did to Solomon and Diavolo in Tea Time with You, and in lesson 10-A, it’s clear that Nightbringer has some sort of relationship with Solomon. Idk I am almost certain it’s Barb but who knows. What if Nightbringer is just like… Barb’s cousin lol.

So, i want to share a few smaller headcanons that i have about the OB cast!

- When Beel is in a good mood and/or happy, you can hear the faint sound of fly wings going "Buzz Buzz." Beel also rubs his hands together before eating his meals just like how Flies rub their hands together.

- One rare occasions when Belphie can't sleep, he'll count cute Mc sheeps to fall asleep. He also snores similar to cartoon characters like "Honk shoo mimimi." He swats away any biting bugs/flies away with his tail if they annoy him during his naps.

- Raphael has a talent for Swallowing Swords/Knives/Speers.

- Mephistopheles likes "My Little Pony," and his favourite character is Rarity. He and Leviathan talk about MLP all the time. Mephistopheles has a strong kick, similar to how strong horses can kick someone.

- Thirteen likes calavera makeup, and every year, she dresses up as La Calavera Catrina to celebrate the "Day of the Dead" also called "Día de Muertos" ((Day of the Dead is a joyful time that helps people remember the deceased and celebrate their memory.))

- Solomon likes to watch his descendants fondly from afar even if he can't be part of their lives.

- Mc dressed up as a giant pickle once and scared Diavolo half to death (not really, but he was definitely spooked)

- After the brothers were cast out from the Celestial Realm, God created Jesus, making him the 8th brother.

- Every year around Christmas time, Satan accidentally receives "letters to Santa" from young children with dyslexia confusing the words "Santa" and "Satan," so Satan writes back letters to the children pretending to be Santa. (I wonder if Santa Claus exists in the OB universe?!). Satan, after coming to terms with his existence and his place in Devildom alongside his brothers, wanted to share his ideology and wisdom with humans. So he created a new religion that encourages hedonistic urges and desires but emphasizes heavily on keeping to yourself and not bothering or offending anyone else as you act on those desires. He called that religion "Satanism", unfortunately, humans misunderstood and painted him as evil and spreading rumours that is Satanism all about sacrificing Animals/children/virgins for selfish gain which pissed Satan off.

- Barbatos likes to be in control and puts everyone's needs before his own. He's always there for others, but he won't let anyone easily reciprocate. Because of his greed, he's afraid to lose himself in his passions/desires, so he keeps all his feelings bottled up. He fears his selfishness, consuming him whole and losing himself to the darkness. That being said, Barbatos once said, "I don't want to give myself completely to the darkness, and i won't as long as you're with me" to Mc. Basically, Mc is the "light" to his "darkness," and he would do anything in order to protect his light. There's a quote that i really like that fits perfectly. It goes like this; "Love is not blind. It sees you in the dark and chooses to be your light."

Anyway, that's it. This low-key got a little bit loooong, Ooooops.
