Honestly a bit miffed when his little bot start following you around when you're in your beast mode. Like he understands why, but that doesn't make it any better

Frustrated beyond belief when some of his bots start following your orders easier than they do his. He is fighting for his life on all fronts

The arachnomechs can't really tell the difference between themselves and you. They just saw a big crab and decided you were one of them

Shockwave is, of course, interested in studying how your anatomy and physiology differs from Cybertronians made/born on Cybertron. Any and all differences are made note of, and he's not above using the arachnomechs to gather more data

He offers to make adjustments to your own frame as more data comes in, little tweaks here and there that improve and add to what you were created with

He's fascinated with how Cybertronians created on earth all seem to take a form that is based on the local wildlife (there are two, his sample size is shit) and compares how you function compared to a standard Cybertronian

Whatever data he does collect he uses to improve the arachnomechs. He improves their recognition abilities so they're able to properly tell the difference between you and them

This changes absolutely nothing, however, and if anything they seem to spend more time around you than before

He still hasn't found out why they do this, but his leading theories are that he either accidentally programed a pack mentality of sorts (unlikely, given his perfectionism), or they developed it on their own (more likely, but still improbable)

He might start treating you like an arachnomech is some ways due to how much time you spend around them. He starts to associate the two of you with each other. He knows you're unaligned in the war, but he's still gonna try to convince you to join the Decepticons (or rather, he's trying to get you to join him and whatever it is he's up to)
