Okay serious question about norse mythology and norse culture... Is it OK to eat some or all of an offering you've given to a god you are worshipping?

Does anyone else have this?
I work with 3 deities, Pluto, Loki and Beelzebub, and 2 of them seem to have latched onto unexpected candle scents. Pluto loves the apple pie ones and Beelzebub likes the sticky toffee pudding ones. For some reason, it's LOKI who likes a scent that is actually typically associated with him.
And then there's the time when Loki first came to me and went to get some sort of food/drink offering for him and Pluto. Pluto made it very clear that he wanted elderflower cordial and when we went over to the fizzy drinks for Loki, he was adamant that, and I quote him, "we aint getting that sugar free shit"
so yeah, for anyone who's looking for good offerings to these deities.
Pluto loves anything even remotely resembling apple pie and elderflower cordial, along with an apple pie candle.
Loki is an absolute sucker for anything sweet and/or chocolatey, but don't even think about sugar free anything.
Beelzebub likes a sticky toffee pudding candle, but since we only met recently I'm still trying to find stuff to offer them.
Any suggestions?

Tyr Deity Guide
Tumblr media
Who is Tyr?
Tyr, or Týr, is a Norse god and member of the Aesir associated with justice, the law, and the formalities of war. He is also the guardian of oaths, treaties, and contracts. In interpretatio romana he is equated to the Roman god of war, Mars. His most well-known role is in the story Gylfaginning where he loses his arm. To some, it is this story that has earned Tyr the title of the bravest Norse god.
Parents and Siblings
Hymir (according to the poetic edda)
Hrod
Odin (according to Sturluson)
If he’s the son of Odin then his siblings (half-siblings) include:
Thor
Baldur
Váli
Vidarr
Heimdall
Hermod
Bragi
Hodr
Lovers or Partners
There is reference of a wife in Lokesenna but no name given.
Children
There is reference of a son in Lokesenna but no name given.
Epithets
The one-handed/armed god
Thingsus (*Þingsaz 'thing-god')
Feeder of the wolf/Fosterer of the Wolf
Notes
Tyr’s most popular story, Gylfaginning, tells of the deal he makes with Fenrir. Only Tyr was brave enough to approach Fenrir in order to feed him. This created a kinship between the two.
The gods tricked Fenrir by telling him that the various chains presented were testaments to his strength, and they congratulated him with cheers when he broke through them. Eventually, they presented the impossible chains made by the dwarves. Suspecting trickery, Fenrir demanded that, as a sign of good faith, one of the gods place their hand in his mouth as the chains were placed on him. Tyr stepped up to this task. As soon as Fenrir’s suspicions were verified and he realized he couldn’t break free, he bit off Tyr’s arm.
It was said that the gods laughed at the trapped wolf, except for Tyr.
Tuesday comes from Týsdagr, or “Týr’s Day”.
The name “Tyr” comes from Old Norse Týr which means “a god” or “the god”. Old Norse  Týr, Old English Tiw, Old High German *Ziu, Gothic Tyz, Proto-Germanic *Tiwaz, “god” (Orel, Vladimir. 2003. A Handbook of Germanic Etymology. p. 408.)
Tyr is not the only god involved in war, Thor and Odin are also known as gods of war, though they reigned over three different aspects of war. Tyr is the law and justice, Odin is wisdom, and Thor is more brute force.
Tyr’s name is the namesake for the Tiwaz rune, ᛏ, representing “t”.
During Ragnarök, Tyr’s death was supposed to be caused by the wolf Garmr whom he would kill at the same time.
Tyr may be linked to the Proto-Indo-European deity *Dyeus the god of the daytime sky as well as a deity of justice, though nothing links Tyr to the sky in mythology.
Tyr is said to have a grandmother with nine hundred heads.

I’ve been wondering something for a few days, and I figured I might find some answers here. This is a rather niche question, so any sort of help is appreciated.
Sometimes when I’m out and about, I find bits of metal that have somewhat rusted. An abandoned screw, a random piece of metal, that sort of thing. A few times I’ve gotten this urge of sorts to put what I’ve found on my altar. It’s never happened with anything else I’ve found, just the random bits of rusted metal.
Recently I’ve begun studying Fenrir, and asking to work with him- but I can’t tell if the metal is for Fenrir or for a different deity. My current altar setup is essentially “This is for Fenrir, but I’m also open to whoever else wants to join me”- for lack of a better term.
I was thinking maybe possibly Ares for some reason, but I’m not 100% certain as I haven’t seen mention about offering metal. Is there any way for me to ask who is reaching out? Or does anyone know of a deity that asks for rusted metal?

Vanir
Tumblr media
The Vanir are a tribe of Norse gods known for their magical prowess. Their skill matched the martial prowess of the Aesir. The Vanir went to war with the Aesir at one point and it was a draw. To end the war the Aesir and Vanir exchanged hostages. The Vanir sent Njordr, Freyr, and Freyja.
Njordr. Njordr is the father of Freyr and Freyja by an unknown sister (some say Nerthus who was not a Norse goddess) His home was called Noatun, on the coast. He was once married to the Jotun, Skadi. Njordr is a god of seafaring, ocean harvests, wind, wealth,
Freyja. (Freya, Freja) Freyja is the sister of Freyr and daughter of Njordr. She is a warrior and Seidkona, skilled in magic. Her hall is Sessrumnir in Folkvangr and she has a falcon cloak often borrowed often by Loki. Her husband is Odr and she had a lover, Ottar, who she rode as boar called Hildisvini. He daughters are Gersemi and Hnoss. Freyja taught Odin Seidr, has her pick of the battle dead and leads the Valkerie. She has a necklace called Brisingamen. Her actual name is unknown. Freyja is a goddess of war, magic, fertility, love poetry, gold,
Freyr. (Frey, Ing, Ingve Frey, Yngve, Fro) Freyr is the brother of Freyja and son of Njordr. His real name is unknown. Freyr was given Alfheim were he rules the Alfar. He's married? to the jotun, Gerdr. His servants are Skirnir, Byggvir, and Beyla. He has dwarf made treasures, Gullenbursti, a golden bristled boar, and Skidbladnir, a foldible ship. He will be killed by Surtr at Ragnarok. Many Swedish royals trace their geneaogy to him. He's a god of peace, fertility, kingship, pleasure, good weather, good harvest, horses
Tumblr media
Honorable mentions
Nerthus. Nerthus is theorized by some to be Njordr's sister/wife by some. She is a goddess attested to by Tacitus in Germainia. She was said to live in a veiled statue in a sacred grove on an island. Humans were sacrificed the her. The names Nerthus and Njordr are aparently related, with Nerthus being an early form of Njordr.
Skirnir. Skirnir is the messenger of Freyr who presured Gerdr into meeting his boss. I'm not sure if he's a Vanir or just works for one.
Byggvir. Byggvir is another servant of Freyr who may or may not be Vanir. He's the husband of Beyla. He may have been connected to barley processing.
Beyla. Beyla is the wife of Byggvir and a servant of Freyr. May or may not be Vanir. She may be connected to cows, bees, or beans.

OPEN COMMISSIONS
Tumblr media
Be prepared to teach me about your Deity, at least enough to where I can appropriately represent them the way you view them and all their grace and glory.
Open to all pantheons, as well as those obscure/lesser known deities who seem to be unobtainable on Etsy and Pinterest.
Consultations are free, just shoot me a message and we’ll set up a time. I would appreciate ongoing communication throughout the process, not instantaneous responses (I understand you have a life), but do expect updates and check-ins from me as I craft your piece. Slower responses equals a longer crafting process.
Open for Art Trades as well.
Price does not include shipping. I’m offering a $10 Domestic (USA) shipping fee only (for now, at least).
Please be at least 16 if you are going to be commissioning me.
My booking fee is $20, no matter the final cost of the piece, and it will, of course, go towards the final cost. (So if I’m doing a $30 piece, you’ll pay $20 before I begin burning, and then an additional $10 when I finish. Then add shipping, an additional $10 for a total of $40). The booking fee is NOT REFUNDABLE.
OPEN COMMISSIONS
I look forward to working with you!
Sincerely,
Sonny Sunshine

A few years ago, I used to put a rabbit figure on Freyja's altar and didn't get why she looked so irritated. After some little time, the rabbit broke (in a very dramatic way)…. now that I got access to some historical books about her, I get why lol she was not associated with them. My intuition just felt how mad and annoyed she was with that.
...aaaand that's why you should not study with internet posts

The Death Card
UPRIGHT:
Change comes for all, in many forms and passings, comings and goings. Death is simply one form of transformative change in our lives, though the emotions that can tie to this passing are what can make it feel overwhelming.
When faced with the Death Card, one must ponder what they need to release and no longer cling to. The passing has or will occur, making whatever peace you can for oneself is the best course of action, also understanding the emotions will still need to be moved through.
Let go, remember what you need to of the time, person, occurrence, item, and leave the rest to recycle in Terra Firma.
New times need room to bud, and space uninhibited by the past. Make that space for oneself in all things also, you deserve to grow and bloom.
INVERTED:
Transformations fought will be hard to process and can prove incredibly painful across all fronts and efforts. STOP struggling against the river, one is not stronger than the forces of Nature and the Universe.
Take heed one doesn't let indecision become decay in a bog of stagnation for the mind and body. All efforts forward are PROGRESS.

Note
I have a sort of astrial projection norse deity story.
There have been a few times where I've focused on communication, and I ended up in a space around a fire sitting with Odin and Loki. Odin has a great sense of humor when he's able to be slightly casual. I almost got hit by lightning in this space, and all three of us laughed about it.
That's completely believable. Odin isn't always serious and dour. Loki isn't always making jokes. Unexpected things happen in journey space.
