Rowan inspired me. I cleaned and reorganized the ole’ altar last night. Swapped in the shell offering dishes for summer, put out the two new antler sheds I found last season.

Your cards cannot think for you your teachers cannot think for you spirits cannot think for you your gods cannot think for you. YOU have to think for you. Do not outsource your thinking onto other figures, because there are and will be people looking to fill that void and tell you where to go and what to do and how to spend your money, and you will cede all control if someone speaks it cleverly enough.

We were living in seleucis on the tigris river during the same span of summers... do you rememver a red ibis bird with beautiful plumes? Yeah U were a sort of dull brown goat that didn't train and dint make milk or kids. Yeah? No? Eventually the Zoroastrian homesteaders who owned you started feeding you contaminated barley to try and kill you lol. Maybe you remember the ergotism? Anyway. also I want one of these 🫵stupid little breads in the case

hello, would you have recommendations on resources for fylgjur? :0 i'd like to learn more about them.
I believe you've made a post about this before, but what are norse animal spirits called? I remember seeing a post on, like, nature or animal spirits from you. I can't find it for the life of me. :(
You might be thinking of the fylgjur! Although they are not spirit animals per say, at least not in the sense we first associate with the term. They're rather considered to be family guardians, generally female, who might take the shape of an animal when appearing in dreams! They're quite the interesting topic to look into. However, we unfortunately know very little of the way they were perceived in pre-Christian Scandinavia. I believe this is the post you were talking about! It's not very extensive I'm afraid, so if you're curious about this topic, I highly recommend you look into the fylgjur! They're a true joy to learn about and to work with. Otherwise, you might have been thinking about the landvættir, land spirits. Here is the post I made on the topic!
Have a good day my friend!

the silent | the thunder | the change
the cards indicate that you're going to be going through (or have already gone through) a huge change in your life, perhaps a disaster, and you may be pressured to act. it's an understandable urge, because we naturally want to help what is being turned upside down! however, despite the urge, the cards say "don't rush into action quite yet" - they want you to take a breath, and to take a step back. think through your options with a calm, rational mind - don't let panic convince you that you MUST do something immediately.
from taking time to pause, the best answer to this catastrophe will become more clear - and right now, that is what the cards indicate that you need.
breathe in, and out. it will be okay.

For Maundy Thursday/Holy Thursday I wanted to share the footwashing series by Jess Bond. A lot of these images have made people very uncomfortable. I know one of the ones I put up here really makes me uncomfortable. Anyway, I'm using today to think about how I judge and look down on other people and ask myself why.
