Our 4th house is how we act after we get comfortable with someone.. it's ruler, where it is and it's degree (of both of your IC and of that planets which is the ruler of you IC both) will give you more insights into it as well... For eg. I have gemini IC at 1° and it's ruler mercury is in Aquarius 12th house at 8°, And when I get comfortable with someone, I talk a lot, and I talk about things which they may or may not aware of that and it's existence (Simply out of the box stuff) and sometimes it feels to them as like it's something Utopia but the intensity I have when I talk with them make people believe it (Idk maybe they just accept it in front of me?😅🤪) And I also tend to talk with them about sprituality and stuff like that.. no matter if they believe it or not, I make them question their beliefs somehow I noticed it.

Moon in Aquarius 12th house feels like that your emotions are just out of this world and others literally can't understand your emotional vocabulary and just give you the tag of being an alien LoL 🤣

But moon in 12th house people have a hard time with others, because people can't seem to understand what they're really feeling, Idk why.. and if they try to make it in words it doesn't feel like emotions anymore and it creates a huge problem Idk, (TBH I feel drained after I tell someone about how I'm feeling so I just avoid to tell others about my emotions in general, or just use some simple words like sad, nostalgic etc..) but it's real that "Words can't describe how I'm feeling:)

And these people also tend to suffer in silence so much and when they get something as a reward for it , other's can't quite get it, because they don't know what happened behind the scenes LoL.

Let's talk about Virgo moons. I seen these people tend to be so much like so much in their heads.. and one second they feel like that they deserve things, and on the other side, there left brain start to tell them that "It's your ego" (Even tho they really deserve it! But they still think that everything is out of ego idk?) You deserve that care, love, and help as you give others.. Cancers we're the biggest and the most important people for my life! I like it so much that they won't hesitate to show their emotions, maybe towards you or someone else, or it's just their mood swings, they never hesitate to tell you what's wrong, and I also seen like mostly cancers say like "'It is what it is' like Idgaf" and yes you don't 😂 I'm an Aquarius moon, but I have Neptune conjunct moon and my moon is in at 12th house and even at 12° so I just understand them what they're tryin to say or something.. Sagittarius moons are just a big no no for me TBH 😅 especially sag moon men..because they consciously put on a mask for you and when you get to know them a little deeper, it's all their inner demons coming out, out of nowhere? Like I didn't done anything (And because I didn't do anything they probably get bored and left me like LoL?) They don't take things seriously, is one more thing I seen.. like it's great at one point, but it's not good for always and people like me😅 who have Pluto in 11th along with mars? I take friendships super seriously, it's all or nothing with me TBH, 😅 that's why.

I also seen that Sag moon men crave attention a lot, as we tend to think of Leo's, imo it's more like a sag moon men crave it, I seen Leo moons who don't even mind if I didn't call them for days, they'll still talk with me as we done before, but sag moons just will make you feel like you did the most bad thing just because you didn't give them attention.🤦🏻‍♀️

I like sag moon females tho. They're the most honest, caring, and kind individual I seen. And they also want honesty in return. You can be your real self in front of them. And if something comes up they'll communicate about that gently they don't start to blame about it, or just complain about that.

Leo moons are my love honestly ❤️😂 they're the most bubbly people I seen, like if they like you, they'll never make you feel like an outsider fr! They'll make sure that you're always with them. And I seen that they always hold hands with people they're walking with😂😂❤️ (SO CUTE!!) And yes Dumb jokes is our thing😂

Going into the final two episodes of Witch from Mercury, I have some questions and observations

1. If the GUND technology was necessary for survival in space, then how did the Spacians survive without it in the 21 years since the Vanadis incident? It seems like the Spacians we saw are in more or less good health.

2. The plight of the Earthians has been reduced to a setpiece in the political drama of the Benerit Group/Space Assembly League.

3. Related to 2, the Dawn of Fold basically disappeared after Guel's episode on Earth. Also, the lack of context on Sophie and Norea made it difficult to care about them more.

4. Speaking of Guel, I think the writing did him dirty as his development after his experience on Earth was mostly walked back on. I expected he would care more about the Earthians or the terrible effect of war especially after he tried to save Seethia but nope. This just reinforced my observation that the Earthians' plight is nothing more than a setpiece in this show.

5. Shaddiq has been shown to be someone who planned things meticulously and can adapt on the fly but he suddenly made this all-or-nothing gamble when he attacked Guel in space resulting in him losing everything. Take note this was the same guy who thought of making out the Jeturk company as the fall guy for the attack at Plant Quetta to simultaneously remove them from the political game and deflect suspicion. It was as if the writers just wanted to clear the chessboard.

6. Elan Prime. Will he ever do something or be someone significant in this show? Speaking of Elans, thank goodness they remembered Elan 4 if only to give closure to Suletta. Also goodbye Pharact, everyone forgot about you.

7. Miorine's stagnant role for 3 episodes like the writers did not know what to do with her until she and Suletta have reconciled. I get she was traumatized by what happened but it would have been helpful to get a glimpse of her reaction to, say, the second attack at Asticassia.

8. The episodes after episode 17 have been weirdly paced. It was very rushed (like the results of the election and Quiet Zero already up and running) and at the same time the characters, like Guel and Miorine seemed to stagnate or rather, they were waiting for the set events, like Suletta's return, to happen before they can act.

It was also a waste to have Nika locked up for most of cour 2. At least Elan 5 and Norea got to know each other better but Nika was just a static spectator. Yes, her asking did lead to Elan 5 revealing Peil Technologies' best kept secret but other than that, it seemed like she was locked in there because the writers did not know what else to do with her until it was time for Earth House to reconcile. All in all, it did feel like there were these set events that the show had to go through and sometimes, when those events aren't happening yet, the writers seemed not to know what to do with certain characters hence the weird narrative choices like locking them up or having them so inert--like they were just waiting for the beats.

9. Miorine and Suletta--they sorely needed the little moments to build up their relationship. They had a lot of big moments, yes, but they also needed little moments as well. There's the Japan tour, audio drama, and light novel but the TV series needed these moments as well.

10. I still have a question about Delling's significance to the plot, like why was he still kept alive to be in a coma for most of cour 2 but I guess we'll find out soon enough. Also, hopefully Nortrette is still going to be more significant than her message in the tomato; after all, QZ was her idea. If not resolved properly, then Delling's comatose state would seem like another case of point 8, i.e., the writers not knowing what to do with him until the plot needs him.

I'm not sure if most of these can be addressed in the last two episodes of this cour. Maybe it would help if there was another cour but I'm not too sure if we're getting it since the show has been in a rush to tie up many--but not all (and I'm not too sure if they intended it that way or if they just overshot themselves)--of the loose ends. I read somewhere someone saying that characters are just tools to move the narrative along and while I would contest that characters can be more than tools and that they themselves can be the focus and the main driver of the story, in WFM cour 2--especially the 2nd half--the characters did feel like they were just tools.

Anyway, let's see. I'll be watching the final two episodes together two weeks from now. Hopefully, Witch from Mercury sticks its landing. 🤞

"Alright! Alright! I get it!" Kara groaned "Sorry for the wait guys. We had to... well... wait for the Black K to wear off before continuing. And considering how I am with Black K once I'm on it? It is kinda tough to get it all off me and then give me enough time to 'detox'. With earings, a necklace, the nipple piercings, the butt plug, the-"

"I think they get it. I think they get it." Karen groaned "And that's another thing before we go into detail today. Kryptonite's effects are temperoary, but take time to wear off. Longer the exposure, longer it takes to wear off."

"Now, on to the sexy fun!" Supergirl cheered "What's the first Kryptonite today?"

"White Kryptonite." Power Girl commented as she suddenly held up her hand, showing off the glowing white stone

Several members of the audience screamed and hid away

"Oh, don't worry. It's harmelss." Power Girl waved dismissively "But it's also time to clear something up I think wasn't too clear the first time. Only Green K's causes pain of any kind to Kryptonian's they effect."

"Now, as for what White K does." Supergirl continued "It kills plant life. That's... Kinda it. It's bad for plants and bacteria. Superman, our cousin Clark, actually has a White K laser up at the Fortress of Solitude that acts as a sanatiser. Has destroyed multiple parasitic life forms."

"So, arguably, this is the best type of Kryptonite. It is actually useful." Power Girl nodded as she put the white rock away

"And we have no pic for it!" Supergirl called dramatically

"Silver K is exclusive to Smallville and looks just like mercury." Karen sighed, shuddering in fear at the idea of said fear "Even a tiny bit enters the blood steam and it makes Kryptonian super paranoid. To a scary level."

"Indeed." Kara nodded before grinning "You know, I think we are in luck. We haven't had one weird Kryptonite yet."

"Yeah, you're right." Karen realised "And we only have two types left. I wonder what the next one is."

Suddenly a pink glow washed over both heroines, making them gasp out and cover their heads

"Pink K, of course." Kara mumbled as she blushed, looking at Karen... And getting lost in her breasts, unable to look away from her counterparts chest

"Pink Kryptonite... It is a bit of a meme, as some of you may know." Power Girl mumbled as she tried not to look at Supergirl. Mumbling under her breath as she bit her lip, small words like 'why is she so cute?' coming out under her breath "It... It makes Kryptonian's gay."

"Yeah." Supergirl nodded as she tried to look away from the other attractive blonde "Not-Not much has been explored about this. Like how it effects bi Kryptonian's, how 'real' it is, and things like that. It's mostly up to writers interpretation."

"But it only ever appeared as a throw away background joke in one Super Girl comic." Power Girl further explained "At least until it got a.... Revamp in recently years."

"In a-In Justice League Action, a newer Justice League cartoon for kids, it did gender swapping instead. Turning Superman into a Superwoman." Kara laughed nervously "So I guess it depends on what kinks you and your RP partner are into."

"Remember. Always ask before doing such a thing." Karen nodded, blushing "And also remember, suddenly being lesbian or gay doesn't mean you're automatically all over your partner. It changes what-what you're attracted to, not who you are or how horny you are."

What happened to Korean animation???

I can not stress this enough, but what is it with the Korean animation on most Burbank-made cartoons produced after 2015 looking so… slow and stiff???

There're LOTS more on 2s animation timing... and less inbetweening, while characters, props and effects are not as loosely drawn as they used to be before 2016.

Look at this example below of what a modern cartoon looks like when animated in Korea:

That episode of Craig of the Creek, "Creature Feature", was made in 2020; it was animated by Rough Draft Korea Co., Ltd. — an animation studio founded by Gregg Vanzo as a cheaper means for quality animation on none other than The Ren & Stimpy Show (Don't believe me? Thad Komorowski will tell you).

He's moving too slow. This shot is all on 2s. His arms move stiffly, and his head bobs up and down just a little bit. It doesn't sell the specific emotions he's expressing as richly as they could... compared to something like classic Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon shows of the past. The overseas animators should listen to the audio track, the recorded dialogue. That's what they did on on Ren & Stimpy!

Now let's go back 10 years before Rough Draft animated that episode of Craig of the Creek... to the Sym-Bionic Titan episode "The Phantom Ninja":

LOOK HOW LOOSE AND SMOOTH THIS LITTLE BIT OF ANIMATION IS!

This level of Korean animation quality was normal for TV cartoons back in the 2010s.

This one shot has a healthy balance of on 2s animation and on 1s animation.

It's just Ilana Lunis and Octus doing a bit of a... I don't know... a shrug... giving Lance a certain look. Not even talking in this shot, nor is it an action sequence, and this little bit of acting looks far better than Craig of the Creek ever animated in general.

Rough Draft also animates on Spongebob and they're struggling but usually excelling on the animation quality overseas.

This applies to cartoons made and aired before 2016 where post-2105 episode/content are the same quality as most post-2015 cartoons shows these days that're animated in Korea; examples are Uncle Grandpa, Samurai Jack Season 5, The Venture Bros. Season 6 onward, We Bare Bears Season 2 onward, and even later Disney TVA shows as Amphibia Season 3 and Hailey's On It!, though mostly it involves Warner Bros. Discovery-owned properties (Turner ones namely).

May be that Korean animators just need a break. The Phillippines can deliver better animation (a bit roughly but still better than Korea for the most part)! Perhaps the Korean overseas facilities need more money... more direction... more communication (as if we could actually afford that with today's gas prices?)

Why not animate domestically here in America? In Burbank? What about rigging (puppetry in 2 dimensions)?

The future of quality TV/non-theatrical 2D animation may be in the hands of Canada's and Ireland's finest riggers. Mercury Filmworks, Boulder Media, Lighthouse Studios, Snipple Animation, and Jam Filled Entertainment can deliver better animation through rigging than Korea can do for most hand-drawn shows!

That is unless it's the Spongebob Squarepants franchise of course... that and Scooby-Doo and Guess Who? and... pretty much anything animated by Yearim or Yeson (most of which are adult cartoon sitcoms with rather restricted animation so as not to distract from their comedic wordplay, since those shows are more script-driven anyway).

I asked some people about the current condition of Korean animation to see what they think about that. Maxwell Atoms had a good bit to say...

The What's in My Head? podcast interview with Randy Myers largely benefited from a question I suggested about the animation quality differences classic Powerpuff Girls and 2016-2019 PPG episodes.

Ariel Vracin-Harrell tweeted that overseas animators often follow the storyboards "religiously", and tiny little micro-poses in storyboards can result in the animation looking "laggy and odd". (Perhaps those Korean animators view the storyboard animatics as key animation?)

Lauren Faust says that you shouldn't animate you storyboards.

That's so fair, I have a friend who is also very normal about Gale (he constantly tells me about his need to relentlessly bully him <affectionate> + I am genuinely surprised how much he grew on me too)

thank you once again for being interested in my strange tiefling, by the way!! I love getting the chance to talk about Mercury

I wrote more than I intended so everything's under a read more!

For some background context: Mercury didn't do relationships of any kind before the events of BG3. They maybe held some people close when they were younger, but after a rather striking betrayal they suffered from, they cut people out. As a young rogue who was quickly getting used to underhanded tactics, this was easy for them to maintain, especially since things were much easier to do while fully anonymous (masked + cloaked) and solo. This habit carried over post-tadpole and it took several days once the full group of companions were gathered in camp for any single one of them to even know Mercury's name, which Mercury only offered up because they had previously made a deal with Shadowheart whenever they met again on the beach post crash. (I do have more context for this I can share sometime)

Mercury's isolationist attitude and well-guarded nature played a huge part in their early dynamics with everyone in camp. They kept to themself and humored the people they were traveling with (choosing to help them with their problems) only because they were smart enough to realize dealing with a mindflayer tadpole alone would be tantamount to death. It was well into late late act 1/ early act 2 before Mercury came around to actually caring about anyone in camp, and even though they had people who would freely call them "friend" by that point, they still kept their distance and mostly sat alone from the rest. (The isolated overlook in the camp at the mountain pass was a favorite spot of theirs) At this point, I think they spent a lot of nights reflecting on how they got tangled up in being involved with people again and being just generally upset that they actually care to have a stake in these people's lives and issues. It was difficult to grapple with the idea of accepting vulnerability in the form of caring about others and being cared about in return, especially because the main reason Mercury stayed away from interpersonal relationships was because relationships are messy and complicated and they invite the possibility in of being hurt. Trusting is not something that comes easy to Mercury, but they learn to exercise it.

So, Wyll, Karlach, and Gale were the largest contributing factors to getting Mercury to that point. I don't think any of them realized the effect they were having on Mercury (at least not the extent of it), especially since early on Mercury never spoke more than they had to and didn't even join the group at large around the fire whenever dinner was made more than half the time. They have darkvision - they're perfectly content to eat alone somewhere the fire isn't shining on them. Gale (resident camp cook) was never going to let them go without eating, though, so I imagine he tried to keep an eye on them whenever they did not join the group for food

And in general, it was little touches and nudges like that that softened Mercury. It's something that happened so gradually they didn't even consciously clock it as happening, otherwise they would've reinforced their walls and made more of an effort to keep others out. On an individual level, Wyll, Karlach, and Gale each offered something different that Mercury - ever the mirror they are, albeit one shattered and stained in crimson along the broken edges - ended up reflecting back.

Wyll struck a particular first impression with Mercury as they met him while he was play sparring with a tiefling child in an effort to teach him something of self-defense. Mercury encouraged the kid and treated Wyll with respect - not suspicion or coldness - pretty much immediately out the gate. They were more reluctant to hear him out about his father since they have a complicated history with the city and definitely had a harder time giving him the time of day about some of his heroic tales, but it never really stopped Wyll from treating Mercury as an equal or even favorably, and the turning point of their relationship (which could've definitely broken the tentative trust forever) was whenever Wyll confronted Karlach. Wyll chose to stand up for his principles - helping those in need, protecting those who are vulnerable - even in the face of losing his soul for it, and that left quite the impression on Mercury in the long run, especially because Wyll faced Mizora for a tiefling who clearly wasn't what she had been made out to be. Mercury needed a good role model like Wyll a lot sooner, honestly, but seeing that someone out there was still willing to fight for what they believe to be worth protecting in the world directly challenged Mercury's apathy toward others and set them down the path of wondering if things could be different than how their life had ended up becoming, if they just tried again

Karlach's influence is a lot easier and more straightforward. She didn't really do any one thing per se - she just was. She's loud and friendly and cares so much! All the time! She took one look at Mercury, asked, "Is someone going to be their friend?", and didn't wait for an answer. Their dynamic definitely feels like an older, tired cat (Mercury) begrudgingly putting up with an energetic kitten (Karlach). Her sincerity and the way that she lives completely differently than Mercury (to the fullest vs barely living at all, especially when you know the further context that Mercury absolutely didn't even want to be alive anymore during the first two and a half acts) wore down Mercury's defenses over time. She became one of Mercury's traveling companions at first out of necessity (between two rogues and a wizard, someone had to be the brawn), but she's as radiant as the sun itself and definitely made the trips more enjoyable. She definitely pushed boundaries the hardest, I feel, because she constantly tried to keep Mercury included, and her constant pressure to rope them back into group activities and mindlessly including them in conversation is 100% the reason they eventually started coming around willingly. It's like when you introduce a new cat to a household and have to have them sniff the other cats through a door, except with a strangle little tiefling who for some reason kept eating alone in the dark and is really good at pissing off gods.

This next part about Gale might be needlessly long and I'm so sorry about that, but he is, bizarrely, the catalyst of what finally broke down Mercury's resistance to being actually involved with anyone, and honestly he came to be who Mercury would consider their first friend of the group. (Friend in the sense Mercury returned the sentiment; Karlach's friendship was one-sided until Mercury finally warmed up to her fully and Astarion doesn't count because he + Mercury decided they just. couldn't be normal with each other for so long)

What sets Gale apart in particular is that he is extremely earnest. Mercury was off-put by him for a long time for a variety of reasons (found him in a rock, he speaks so much and is So weird about it, he is direct and honest) and to be completely honest, he was the companion Mercury trusted the least due to the fact he was so open and honest about things. Early on, Gale was by far the person who was the most talkative with Mercury and was the first to ever directly approach them for something, even if it was to cryptically tell them that he desperately needed to absorb magic from artefacts they find. Mercury obliged, tried not to ask too many questions, and somehow hours later they found themself still in conversation with Gale about one thing or another. I'm only slightly exaggerating - a lot of their early dynamic was Gale deciding he absolutely needed to tell Mercury something immediately and Mercury stood there listening to him speak, wondering why they're still listening and why he's telling them about how he fucked a goddess (which they think was a horrible idea + situation), and wishing he'd stop telling them about any new random topic of conversation that popped into his head. They thought he was so strange (as if Mercury isn't) and they didn't understand why he was so insistent to tell them virtually everything about himself, but yet they did always end up listening to him about it. This coupled with Mercury's distrust toward him for how earnestly he spoke about matters and his own feelings meant Mercury especially kept him at a distance - they humored him because it was easier than avoiding him, but they absolutely did not want to be dragged into his whole mess. And yet-

So, at this rate, in the transition of going into act 2 (the mountain pass/the underdark), not only had the party started to get along and grow closer with each other, but all the little influences of Gale actively seeking Mercury out as a conversation partner, Karlach making sure Mercury was included and treated with the same warmness and kindness as she did any of the others with no hesitation to the matter, Wyll providing insight to a way of living for others Mercury had never humored, Astarion starting to just barely come out of his shell (causing Mercury to start to realize he's genuinely really fun), and the others (Lae'zel/Shadowheart) starting to relax, too, in this group dynamic that is so foreign to them, had set Mercury firmly in the position of being comfortable. And they hadn't realized that, yet. That realization came later, when the first major crisis posed to one of Mercury's party members presented itself in the form of a wizened, old wizard: Elminster.

This is why Gale became the catalyst of Mercury realizing they had let themself become comfortable and start caring. Elminster showed up to send Gale a message from the goddess of magic herself - the very same goddess Mercury can't help but think has always taken advantage of Gale, regardless of if he does or even can see it that way - that said "you will be forgiven if you kill yourself for me." Mercury has always had an issue with the gods (for reasons I haven't quite pinpointed yet), and it genuinely upset them that a goddess would offer a convenient 'solution' to multiple issues she could solve herself if she really cared to, all the while masking punishment behind forgiveness, and Gale just accepting it like it's not only normal but the correct thing to do. It was the first time Mercury had felt protective over someone in a long time, which is something they didn't even know they had it in them to feel anymore, especially after years and years of survival instinct dictating that they must care about themself above all else. This, coupled with Karlach leveling with Mercury she's not so sure she'll make it because her engine has been actively getting worse, as well as Mercury realizing their previous discomfort over learning what Astarion's scars said didn't make them uncomfortable just because it read like an infernal pact, but rather because they actually personally cared about the position it put Astarion in, leads to Mercury having a looooong couple of days where they have to grapple with the fact they've gotten themself way in over their head and there's just no turning back now. At least they had plenty wine to keep them company.

I hope this sufficiently answers your question! I uh. didn't mean to write a whole essay, but I think about my character's motivations and growth over the story constantly and I'm always more than happy to ramble to anyone who wants to hear it!

Also as a bonus because you are normal about Gale, the awkwardness of Mercury not knowing how to deal with Gale early on (act 1 - early act 2) was only intensified later when Mercury realized Gale had fallen in love with them at some point? They had to sit down with him and level with him 1) that they would never be with someone romantically (that wasn't a lie at the time, they were genuinely blindsided by falling in love with Astarion) 2) please find someone who deserves you 3) have better taste and I think about that constantly because there's something so funny to me about Gale looking at Mercury, who is an absolute disaster of a person who can barely function socially, and deciding "yeah I'm into that"

previous anon here! perhaps it was a misinterpretation but idk there's something very off about how men are written in rwby which is weird because the show is written by mostly guys.

The 'very off' thing is that the show's blatantly misogynistic and this ends up showing through in the male characters as much as the female ones. Misogyny tends to do that.

When thinking of RWBY and misogyny, most people can pick up on the obvious ones--Jaune and Weiss, Ozpin and Salem, etc. But it's not all licking male characters' boots and giving them constant spotlight: misogyny, especially when dealing with male writers, can and will often manifest as an overage of interest and sympathy in female characters while treating the male ones as dirt--see also, every male writer ever who's handed a redemption to a female villain who didn't deserve one and was honestly cooler as a villainess (in this show's case, Emerald). After all, why waste energy on anything with a penis? That'd just be weird.

Adam vs. Ilia: Adam is made into an irredeemable monster and killed off, while Ilia's not-as-bad-but-certainly-still-noticeable crimes are forgiven. Meanwhile, Fennec is also killed off, despite the fact that he was probably the less overtly villainous of the Albain brothers and was acting on orders he disagreed with.

Mercury vs. Emerald (by far the most visible example): Emerald has her very significant crimes, which include killing innocent people and laughing about it, waved away so that she can join the heroes. Meanwhile, Mercury is allowed to be blatantly evil and enjoy being a villain, despite the fact that his backstory is just as unfortunate if not moreso than Emerald's and his involves far more abuse.

Cinder vs. Watts and Tyrian: Tyrian and Watts get to be monsters, while Cinder is just as much of a monster yet has to be supplied a tragic backstory, just so the viewer knows it's not her fault she's evil (it is, actually, her fault).

Please note that this often crosses over with racism, too, especially in examples like Adam (regarding his spontaneous mutation into a wifebeater) and Sienna Khan (regarding her skin color and impalement). And you definitely don't need me to tell you it happens with the gay characters, too. LGBT women in this show include a redeemed major character, background cast who are allowed to be happy and healthy, and two of the main characters. LGBT men in this show include the Plant Gays, Dead Gay #1 (Pilot Boi), Dead Gay #2 (Clover Ebi), and that one dude with red hair that Miles hates so much he refuses to allow him to be in the show at all (Scarlet David). Because why waste time involving gay dudes in the story when gay women are so much hotter and make for better jackoff material?

SSSN is a prime example of what probably boils down to misogynistic writers just not bothering with anything that's too much penis and not enough tits. I mean, what do you expect them to do with an all-male team?

I like horror genre [movies, books, analogue horror and etc], watching movies, listening to true crime, reading books and listening to music. I love indie and alternative rock, gothic novels, Victorian and vampire goth aesthetic, grunge aesthetic. Researching and learning more about myself. I love reading greek mythology and Japanese urban legends, reading about horror/supernatural creatures such as vampires, sirens, wendigos and etc. I'm interested in psychology and prehistory [especially prehistoric religions even though I'm not really religious person myself]. gundam: the witch from mercury cour 2 ep 1/ep 13, spoilers ahead!

i said i was going to write out my thoughts for each episode, so i'm doing it now before i watch ep 3!! by the end of season 1, SO much happened, in particular there was the big moment where suletta murders and feels no remorse for it. we are starting to see her sense of morality and personhood dictated by solely her mother who is the big schemer begin to unwind. guel has just... experienced too much character development and it left me very curious as what he would be doing next, where that leaves his brother (who I am assuming will be next acting CEO, he has got to be only 15/16 though if suletta is a second year! poor kid :(...)

the earth students barely survived and it was all thanks to NIKA who has got to be my favourite character. the dynamic she has with the whole earth house, but especially chu and martin fill me with a lot of dread about what's to come. at this point, i've already seen ep 1 so i know that her info has been leaked. martin already suspects her, but i am just dreading for when she and chu have to come face to face about it. clearly the whole earth house is traumatized by the reality of GUNDAMS and other technology being used for killing.

the ep opens w suletta fighting all of her backed up duels during their time at plant quetta, she still has a mostly positive attitude about being at school, it hasn't really hit her that they have experienced terrorism, not like it has for the earthians. i'll do a separate post about the OP and ending i think... there's so much to look at lol. i think most people would have been terrified in that situations, but we know how closely earthians experience conflict, even those who are more well off. i also love that they all have different responses too. chuchu is enraged, nino continues to be despondent, martin and nika who are expected to have it together are filled with a lot of mental turmoil. Shaddiq is leading the presentation on the aftermath of the plant quetta incident and oh no! guel's baby brother, lauda, is acting head of the company. rly not prepared for what he's going to go through to further guel's character or the fact that he has had no time to grieve...but also anticipating lauda and guel meeting again after they are *changed by the narrative*...

gosh there is so much happening here... with shaddiq's schemes and also suletta's mom as the underlying mastermind for everything...it's always that damn masked character!!! weirdly enough, i think shaddiq and nika are still my favourite characters, there's so much build up in what roles they will play and i think their character arcs will be really captivating... but i am also a sucker for side characters!! i'm still dying to know what nika's relationship with her "father" figure is like since i am assuming she is also a war orphan. it doesn't seem like she has a relationship with the earth witches aside from socio-political faction. also the worn out and ripped toys that sophie calls her "family" 🥺 i'm fine and normal about these kids i swear...

mostly i am like... SO worried about the earth kids... nika, martin, chuchu...............pls SURVIVE like i just know that shit is gonna start going down, the first season was to build up the school life vibe and let the students experience joy while the drama builds up. the politics and anti-war themes were just sprinkled around, but never made it to the main plot you know? but now it's getting serious ahhh nika pls SURVIVE

Types 2/7/9 cope with an adverse situation by shifting away from it, reframing it into sth positive, habitually searching for silver linings, &c. Thus, they sublimate.

to præcipitate (← Latin præcipitō “throw down, hurl down, throw headlong”)

(alchemy & chemistry) to cause vapour to condense and fall or deposit; to separate a substance out of a liquid solution or suspension into solid form

(common usage) to bring about a certain condition, especially abruptly, sudddenly, and quickly; to fall headlong or act with violent or unwise speed

Types 4/6/8 have an immediate, intense, flaring response or even an outburst to an adverse situation. Thus, they præcipitate.

to dissolve (← Latin dissolvō “to loosen up, break apart”)

(alchemy & chemistry) to disintegrate into a solution by immersion into a liquid or gas

(obsolete usage) to solve; to resolve; to clear up

Types 1/3/5 tend to cope by finding rational, logical solutions. Verbs solve, dissolve, & resolve share the same root. The image that comes to mind is this: analysing the situation at hand (i.e., dissolution) and coming up with the most suitable course of action to deal therewith (i.e., (re)solution).

Constructing an overall symbol (ligature) for each Enneagram type

It is possible to construct a cumulative symbol for each type by combining their respective triadic glyphs into one ligature.

Thus, the Hornevian Triad glyphs for each type would become the base to which the rest of the glyphs would be adjoined.

Then, for hexad types, one would append the respective Object Relation Triad glyph (sulphur for 2/5/8 or mercury for 1/4/7) on top of the base; for triangle types, the salt glyph (for 3/6/9) would instead go underneath.

As for the respective Harmonic Triad glyphs, those would go below everything: the dissolution glyph (for 1/3/5) would be inverted for the purposes of visual congruity; the glyphs for sublimation (for 2/7/9) & præcipation (for 4/6/8) would be used as they are.

Instinctual variants

It is also possible to represent the dominant instinct by adding one of the following to the overall symbol for any Enneagram type:

My Review:

I somehow missed the “official prequel to the blockbuster video game” on the cover of this. As I haven’t played the game, I think I am missing key details that would make me care more about the events within the book. Additionally, I haven’t seen the Guardians of the Galaxy and related Marvel movies (just the trailers) — which means I’m missing a LOT of key details and most importantly, the characters’ canon personalities and interactions. I requested this solely because I have loved everything MK England has written and I assumed I would love this as well, despite not being familiar with the franchise. I have read other books and fanfictions of franchises I am unfamiliar with and loved them in the past. However this… missed the mark for me. I liked the plot all right, but I didn’t really care about any of the characters. Additionally, it was confusing with the way it was structured. It is divided into sections that alternate between the present and the past, 12 years earlier. I listened to the audio, which made it very difficult to flip back and check whether I was in the present or the past. I think the confusion stemmed mostly mostly from the fact that both feature Peter getting into scrapes, fighting for his life, etc but with a different set of crewmates each time. The characters weren’t distinct enough for me to easily tell which scenario I was in sometimes, especially with similar battle scenes and running from the enemy scenes in each. Also they were all — especially Peter AKA Star Lord — a little annoying. He was very much a bumbling fool who is eternally optimistic and somehow always comes out on top while everything and everyone around him falls to pieces and I’m not really a fan of that character type. I was into it, but not really, I guess? Like I cared enough to keep listening, but not enough to choose to listen over doing/reading other things. I actually listened to half of this and then put it down for eight months and by the time I decided to give it a second chance, I’d forgotten enough details that I had to start over from the beginning. This should have made it easier to tell whether I was in the present or past in any given scene, but they still blurred together for me. I realized eventually that I was having trouble distinguishing between Gamora (present) and Ko-Rel (past) in their interactions with Peter. At 80% in I can’t really tell you the point of it all. Things keep happening but they don’t make any impact on me. I’m in the midst of the plot twist / confrontation with the enemy and I think I’m going to put it down again because I have other things to read that will hopefully hold my attention more. I think this would go over well with fans of the movies and games franchises as well as those who like an emphasis on space action/battle scenes and not so much character development. The narrator was fairly good and did a decent job giving the characters different voices (except for some of his female voices which were difficult to tell apart, possibly contributing to my confusion.) I found his voice a bit on the annoying side, though I don’t know how much of it was his voice and how much of it was his voicing of Peter as the POV character (who I also found annoying). He also tended toward the dramatic, but that’s understandable given the amount of battles and narrow escapes and arguments between the (very dysfunctional) characters. *Thanks to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media (Marvel) for providing an audio arc for review.

We mean waaaay out there in our solar system – where the forecast might not be quite what you think.  Let’s look at the mean temperature of the Sun, and the planets in our solar system. The mean temperature is the average temperature over the surface of the rocky planets: Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars. Dwarf planet Pluto also has a solid surface. But temperatures on the Sun also are a bit puzzling.  An image of the Sun taken Oct. 30, 2023, by NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory. NASA/SDO The hottest part of the Sun is its core, where temperatures top 27 million°F (15 million°C). The part of the Sun we call its surface – the photosphere – is a relatively cool 10,000° F (5,500°C). In one of the Sun’s biggest mysteries, the Sun’s outer atmosphere, the corona, gets hotter the farther it stretches from the surface. The corona reaches up to 3.5 million°F (2 million°C) – much, much hotter than the photosphere. So some temperatures on the Sun are a bit upside down. How about the planets? Surely things are cooler on the planets that are farther from the Sun.  Well, mostly. But then there’s Venus.  As it sped away from Venus, NASA’s Mariner 10 spacecraft captured this seemingly peaceful view of a planet the size of Earth, wrapped in a dense, global cloud layer. But, contrary to its serene appearance, the clouded globe of Venus is a world of intense heat, crushing atmospheric pressure and clouds of corrosive acid. NASA/JPL-Caltech Venus is the second closest planet to the Sun after Mercury, with an average distance from the Sun of about 67 million miles (108 million kilometers). It takes sunlight about six minutes to travel to Venus.  Venus also is Earth’s closest neighbor and is similar in size. It has even been called Earth’s twin. But Venus is shrouded in clouds and has a dense atmosphere that acts as a greenhouse and heats the surface to above the melting point of lead. It has a mean surface temperature of 867°F (464°C).  So Venus – not Mercury – is the hottest planet in our solar system. Save that bit of info for any future trivia contests. Maybe Venus is hotter, but Mercury is the closest planet to the Sun. Surely it gets hot, too?  Mercury as seen from NASA’s MESSENGER, the first spacecraft to orbit Mercury. NASA/Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory/Carnegie Institution of Washington Mercury is about 36 million miles (57 million kilometers) from the Sun. From this distance, it takes sunlight about three minutes to travel to Mercury. Even though it’s sitting right next to the Sun – relatively speaking – Mercury gets extremely cold at night. It has a mean surface temperature of 333°F (167°C). Daytime temperatures get much hotter than the mean, and can reach highs of 800°F (430°C). But without an atmosphere thick enough to hold in the heat at night, temperatures can dip as low as -290°F (-180°C).  Ahhh, Earth. We know about the weather here, right? NASA Earth is an average of 93 million miles (150 million kilometers) from the Sun. It takes about eight minutes for light from the Sun to reach our planet. Our homeworld is a dynamic and stormy planet with everything from clear, sunny days, to brief rain showers, to tornados, to raging hurricanes, to blizzards, and dust storms. But in spite of its wide variety of storms – Earth generally has very hospitable temperatures compared to the other planets. The mean surface temperature on Earth is 59°F (15°C). But Earth days have some extreme temperatures. According to NOAA, Death Valley holds the record for the world’s highest surface air temperature ever recorded on Earth: 134°F (56.7°C) observed at Furnace Creek (Greenland Ranch), California, on July 10, 1913. Earth’s lowest recorded temperature was -128.6°F (89.2°C) at Vostok Station, Antarctica, on July 21, 1983, according to the World Meteorological Organization.  NASA missions have found lots of evidence that Mars was much wetter and warmer, with a thicker atmosphere, billions of years ago. How about now?  Side-by-side animated images show how a 2018 global dust storm enveloped the Red Planet. The images were taken by NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO). NASA/JPL-Caltech/MSSS Mars is an average distance of 142 million miles (228 million kilometers) from the Sun. From this distance, it takes about 13 minutes for light to travel from the Sun to Mars. The median surface temperature on Mars is -85°F (-65°C). Because the atmosphere is so thin, heat from the Sun easily escapes Mars. Temperatures on the Red Planet range from the 70s°F (20s°C) to -225°F (-153°C). Occasionally, winds on Mars are strong enough to create dust storms that cover much of the planet. After such storms, it can be months before all of the dust settles. Two NASA rovers on Mars have weather stations. You can check the daily temps at their locations: Mars Weather Report From Perseverance Curiosity Daily Weather Report The ground temperature around the Perseverance rover ranges from about -136°F to 62°F (-93°C to 17°C). The air temperature near the surface ranges from about  -118°F to 8°F (-83°C to -13°C). As planets move farther away from the Sun, it really cools down fast! Since gas giants Jupiter and Saturn don’t have a solid surface, temperatures are taken from a level in the atmosphere equal in pressure to sea level on Earth. The same goes for the ice giants Uranus and Neptune. NASA’s Juno spacecraft took this image during a flyby of Jupiter. The mean temperature on Jupiter is -166°F (-110°C).  Jupiter is an average distance of 484 million miles (778 million kilometers) from the Sun. From this distance, it takes sunlight 43 minutes to travel from the Sun to Jupiter. Jupiter has the shortest day in the solar system. One day on Jupiter takes only about 10 hours (the time it takes for Jupiter to rotate or spin around once), and Jupiter makes a complete orbit around the Sun (a year in Jovian time) in about 12 Earth years (4,333 Earth days). Jupiter’s equator is tilted with respect to its orbital path around the Sun by just 3 degrees. This means the giant planet spins nearly upright and does not have seasons as extreme as other planets do. As we keep moving out into the solar system, we come to Saturn – the sixth planet from the Sun and the second largest planet in our solar system. Saturn orbits the Sun from an average distance of 886 million miles (1.4 billion kilometers). It takes sunlight 80 minutes to travel from the Sun to Saturn. The mean temperature is -220°F (-140°C).  In addition to the bone-chilling cold, the winds in the upper atmosphere of Saturn reach 1,600 feet per second (500 meters per second) in the equatorial region. In contrast, the strongest hurricane-force winds on Earth top out at about 360 feet per second (110 meters per second). And the pressure – the same kind you feel when you dive deep underwater – is so powerful it squeezes gas into a liquid. This hexagon-shaped pattern was first noticed in images from the Voyager I spacecraft and was more closely observed by the Cassini spacecraft. Uranus rotates at a nearly 90-degree angle from the plane of its orbit. This unique tilt makes Uranus appear to spin sideways, orbiting the Sun like a rolling ball. And like Saturn, Uranus has rings. The ice giant is surrounded by 13 faint rings and 27 small moons.  Now we move on to the last major planet in our solar system – Neptune. What’s the weather like there? Well you would definitely need a windbreaker if you went for a visit. Dark, cold, and whipped by supersonic winds, giant Neptune is the eighth and most distant major planet orbiting our Sun. The mean temperature on Neptune is -330°F (-200°C).  And not to be outdone by Jupiter and its Great Red Spot, Neptune has the Great Dark Spot – and Scooter. In 2011, Neptune completed its first 165-year orbit of the Sun since its discovery.  That wraps up forecasting for the major planets. But there is one more place we need to check out. Beyond Neptune is a small world, with a big heart – dwarf planet Pluto. New Horizons scientists use enhanced color images to detect differences in the composition and texture of Pluto’s surface. NASA/JHUAPL/SwRI With a mean surface temperature of -375°F (-225°C), Pluto is considered too cold to sustain life. Pluto’s interior is warmer, however, and some think there may be an ocean deep inside. From an average distance of 3.7 billion miles (5.9 billion kilometers) away from the Sun, it takes sunlight 5.5 hours to travel to Pluto. If you were to stand on the surface of Pluto at noon, the Sun would be 1/900 the brightness it is here on Earth. There is a moment each day near sunset here on Earth when the light is the same brightness as midday on Pluto. "I-ahahahaha...." Kara laughed nervously as the Supergirl flouted in the air, rubbing the back of her head awkwardly "So we kinda... well... got a bit over the top there at the end, huh?"

"A bit?!" Karen frowned, the Power Girl resting her hands on her hips "If I described all the shit we did to each other under Black K, the reader's would be reading a fanfiction instead of out informative blog piece!"

"Alright! Alright! I get it!" Kara groaned "Sorry for the wait guys. We had to... well... wait for the Black K to wear off before continuing. And considering how I am with Black K once I'm on it? It is kinda tough to get it all off me and then give me enough time to 'detox'. With earings, a necklace, the nipple piercings, the butt plug, the-"

"I think they get it. I think they get it." Karen groaned "And that's another thing before we go into detail today. Kryptonite's effects are temperoary, but take time to wear off. Longer the exposure, longer it takes to wear off."

"Now, on to the sexy fun!" Supergirl cheered "What's the first Kryptonite today?"

"White Kryptonite." Power Girl commented as she suddenly held up her hand, showing off the glowing white stone

"Oh, don't worry. It's harmelss." Power Girl waved dismissively "But it's also time to clear something up I think wasn't too clear the first time. Only Green K's causes pain of any kind to Kryptonian's they effect."

"Now, as for what White K does." Supergirl continued "It kills plant life. That's... Kinda it. It's bad for plants and bacteria. Superman, our cousin Clark, actually has a White K laser up at the Fortress of Solitude that acts as a sanatiser. Has destroyed multiple parasitic life forms."

"So, arguably, this is the best type of Kryptonite. It is actually useful." Power Girl nodded as she put the white rock away

"Platinum Kryptonite is next." Supergirl said as she held up a near identical rock, only a bit closer to silver in colour "As you can see above, this gives Kryptonian powers. To any humanoid being."

"So humans, Tameranians, Thanagarians, Martians, all of them automatically become as powerful as Kryptonian's." Power Girl nodded ... "Well, Martians where already like that, but there are only so many commonly known DC alien species."

"And yes, fan boys. Give this to Goku, he gets Superman's powers." Supergirl rolled her eyes "So.... What's next?"

"Next is another white/silver Kryptonite.... Silver Kryponite." Karen explained

"And we have no pic for it!" Supergirl called dramatically

"Silver K is exclusive to Smallville and looks just like mercury." Karen sighed, shuddering in fear at the idea of said fear "Even a tiny bit enters the blood steam and it makes Kryptonian super paranoid. To a scary level."

"Indeed." Kara nodded before grinning "You know, I think we are in luck. We haven't had one weird Kryptonite yet."

"Yeah, you're right." Karen realised "And we only have two types left. I wonder what the next one is."

Suddenly a pink glow washed over both heroines, making them gasp out and cover their heads

"Pink K, of course." Kara mumbled as she blushed, looking at Karen... And getting lost in her breasts, unable to look away from her counterparts chest

"Pink Kryptonite... It is a bit of a meme, as some of you may know." Power Girl mumbled as she tried not to look at Supergirl. Mumbling under her breath as she bit her lip, small words like 'why is she so cute?' coming out under her breath "It... It makes Kryptonian's gay."

"Yeah." Supergirl nodded as she tried to look away from the other attractive blonde "Not-Not much has been explored about this. Like how it effects bi Kryptonian's, how 'real' it is, and things like that. It's mostly up to writers interpretation."

"But it only ever appeared as a throw away background joke in one Super Girl comic." Power Girl further explained "At least until it got a.... Revamp in recently years."

"In a-In Justice League Action, a newer Justice League cartoon for kids, it did gender swapping instead. Turning Superman into a Superwoman." Kara laughed nervously "So I guess it depends on what kinks you and your RP partner are into."

"Remember. Always ask before doing such a thing." Karen nodded, blushing "And also remember, suddenly being lesbian or gay doesn't mean you're automatically all over your partner. It changes what-what you're attracted to, not who you are or how horny you are."

"Yeah, what she said." Kara nodded before a second light covered them, a purple glow.....

"Purple K, as-as you've guessed makes-fuck! Horny! Horny! Makes us horny!" Supergirl moaned deeply, a hand under her skirt pumping "This is-isn't real! It is-is made up for this blog! Fuck! Karen! I need!"

"Coming! I'm coming!" The other blonde panted, crawling towards her counterpart. Almost drooling as she approached her

"I-I need to be cumming soon or I'm gonna go insane!" The younger counterpart moaned, her blonde hair flowing around her like a halo as she threw her head back

"You lot..." Power Girl panted "Fuck off! We're gonna be busy!" And with that she pounced, pulling Kara into a deep kiss

The two moaning as they wrapped their arms around each other and began to make out, their hands gliding across each others bodies
