Random opinion I want validation or criticism on: I don't think pink kryptonite turns Kryptonians gay. If one were to see Superman as bisexual like I do anyway, pink kryptonite practically just made Superman more socially forward. Yeah I know the writer's intention and back then were trying to push some gay stereotypes too like having a better sense of fashion and interior decorating, but those can be swept away with just assuming those were his opinions anyway he just isn't vocal about them. At worst I think one could say it made him hypersexual, at best maybe pink kryptonite is just a kryptonian amphetamine.

Look I'd accept any explanation that makes Pink Kryptonite anything other than the gleaming discomfort that it actually is. So if that's your pitch, go for it. I prefer to forget it happened.

toxic but sustainable friendship is Clark going "here Bruce, the last piece of kryptonite in existence...I want you to have it, you're the only one I trust" and Bruce is like "of course, you know I'll keep it safe" and then goes and shoves it in his huge lead-lined room in the Cave full of Kryptonite he never told Clark about.

Ok so y'all've likely hear of the whole "kryptonite is hardened ectoplasm" thing (which can def make sense considering it's made from all the death having seeped into the now destroyed krypton if that one little snippet of information was telling the truth and I'm remembering it right) and I bring you:

Ghosts not only eat kryptonite but there's also a subsection species that actively lived on/visited krypton pre-nonexistence to hunt kryptonions and that's why kryptonions are so invulnerable and have all the powers that they have. Its how they evolved to withstand their predators (ghosts).

So like, imagine if Clark and Kara both get an intense prey-reaction of they ever meet Danny. And maybe Jon and Kon both get really anxious but it's less so than full kryptonions! And really Clark wouldn't know why he's so terrified of a teen that doesn't even reach his shoulders unless he asks The Fortress or Kara tells him. Maybe even Danny doesn't know and sometimes gets the urge to chase down a Super or automatically focuses on any of them when in the same room–never looking away from his prey the Super the entire time.

Idk I just think it'd be neat!

Doctor Danny Prompt

Danny Fenton is largely regarded as an ignorant slacker as a result of his schoolwork and study time consistently being interrupted by ghost attacks. Thankfully after Danny is crowned high king of the ghost zone he is able to reign the ghosts in and makes them all swear an oath not to cause trouble, they are still allowed to visit the human world of coarse, some even mask themselves as human and lead ordinary loves even while being dead.

With more time on his hands and little to no ghosts attacks Danny misses the rush he used to get. Then one day a man collapsed in front of him, Danny is able to save the man using CPR and he discovers his new affinity. Medical practice.

Danny goes to college and gets into a hospital as a resident after interning, not long after though the Amity Park hospital closes due to lack of funding and he is forced to find another hospital.

He got a good recommendation from his previous hospital to work at a hospital in Gotham, definitely far from home, but he doesn't let that stop him.

Soon after working there he finds the influx of patients to care for refreshing, he becomes widely known as a genius miracle doctor.

One day he's taking a leisurely walk when he found an injured vigilante, the Red Hood, hes not conscious and therefore unable to give consent for treatment. Danny cares for Red Hoods injuries privately away from a hospital so as to keep the vigilantes identity a secret.

Red Hood is cautious and rude at first, but slowly he learns to open up to the doctor and even get continuously treated by Danny.

Danny is just finishing a shift when he hears about Superman being shot with a kryptonite bullet. Despite using his powers occasionally to treat patients, he's been able to keep his ghost gene a secret.

However that's about to change. He arrives on the seen and pushes his way through the police using a bit of his powers discreetly to get through.

The heroes aren't sure what to do.

"My name's Daniel Fenton, I am an attending physician at Gotham General Hospital, I specialize in supernatural anatomy, Cardiology and Endocrinology"

"All due respect doctor, his skin is impenetrable, you won't be able to operate on him"

Danny kept a cool face.

"That would be true for a normal human, I can't explain right now, every moment we wait is time we could be using to save the patient"

Danny used his ghost powers to see inside Superman body.

Several heroes gasped as they witnessed the doctors eyes turn a glowing green and then his arm became transparent. Danny stick his hand on Superman chest and pulled out the bullet.

As soon as the bullet was out Superman's skin began healing and restoring itself.

Danny let out a breath of relief before letting the superheroes escort him to the hall of justice where they sat with him.

"I would like to begin with we all can't thank you enough Dr" Batman said.

"wow, Mr tall dark and broody is being nice" flash whispered.

"Yes but I'm sure you still have questions for me."

Several heads nodded.

"are you of an alien race?"

Danny chuckled.

"No, nothing like that. My parents were scientists who were obsessed with the study of the paranormal, specifically ghosts. When I was young, around the age of fourteen I would say, my friends convinced me to go inside the newly constructed portal shell that my parents had tested earlier that day."

He paused waiting for them to take in his words before continuing.

"It had failed to operate then so I went in thinking it was safe. I was wrong. My parents had unknowingly instilled the charge to start the portal on the inside of the shell. I didn't know it was even there until I tripped on some tangled exposed wire and my hand pressed it"

"did it hurt?" Flash asked. He got a few dirty looks for that question but Danny just gave him a friendly smile.

"in a word, yes. It was excruciating. I was electrocuted for a half a minute. On top of that I had accidentally started the charge to the portal shell while being inside. This caused an outside substance called ectoplasm to enter my DNA sequence permanently changing it"

"ectoplasm" Batman muttered.

"in simpler terms, I'm half ghost."

"That's not possible! You would have to be half dead to be-" Flashs words were silenced with a swift smack to the back of the head by wonder women.

"Yes, I am technically half dead. I had to battle these ghost entities for a while to make sure they didn't wreck havoc in the small town o grew up in."

"Forgive me, but of that's true why aren't you there now"

Danny chuckled as he rubbed the back of his neck a little nervous of their soon to be reactions.

"After I was forced to defeat the current ghost king and put him back onto the sarcophagus of forever sleep, the title became mine. I gained respect and control over the ghosts who were causing trouble amd was able to make them stop"

"Your a king" Batman stated.

"i don't refer to myself as such, on truth many ghosts helped imprison the old king, I received the title on a technicality."

He looked down at his hands.

"after the peace had settled in I had begun to feel as though a part of me was missing so I took up the career I have currently."

He smiled at them sweetly as he explained.

"My battle instincts help me when I'm in a crisis situation with a critical patient. With my powers I can calm them and safely restrain them if need be. As you saw today I can also better treat meta humans and alien races with these abilities as well"

"you went from being a hero to being a doctor, that's commendable"

Danny shook his head.

"Not really. I'm doing a selfless thing for selfish reasons"

The league smiled upon him. From then on he was world renowned for his worldly expertise and protected.

Should I make this into a whole fanfiction or not? Because I want to go into more detail but I want to know what you all think first.

Amity Candy Store

It turns out that having a portal to the Infinite Realms gives you resources to materials you've never seen before. Due to the recent peace treaty between Amity Parkers and ghosts they had begun to exchange products.

Some ghosts felt very nostalgic and wanted to try the food of the living again, or have access to objects not available on the dimension. Others simply wanted to show their shiny items to the liminals, after all there were so many portals on the dimension and they had a lot to trade!

One of those items was Kryptonite, ghosts were sure it was candy of some kind and told the liminals that and since ghosts and liminals could eat it without any consequences (Frostbite approved) the liminals assumed it was some kind of special candy. Like shiny rock candy.

So it is not surprising that when they opened a candy store they began to sell Kryptonite there. When the Justice League began to investigate the town's sudden silence from the outside world Clark didn't expect to feel extremely weak walking past the local candy store. Or that being around the local children would make him sick.

Munch, Munch, Munch

So a lot of people like to say that Kryptonite is Ghost Rock Candy.

And a lot of people like to say that Jason Todd (AKA Red Hood) has at least some level of liminal nature, if not full on half ghost.

Therefore, Jason eats Kryptonite.

The first time it happened, Jason was feeling Hangry while in the Batcave and, in his anger, mistook some crystals sitting out as rock candy. It's only when Tim finds him right as he's finishing off the last piece that he learn that it was, in fact, not rock candy. However, Jason keeps craving it, to the point that the Bats have to keep any Kryptonite under lock and key or else Jason will instantly consume it.

Batman eventually has to figure out why his son is craving Kryptonite and if there's anything he can do to replace it because he can't keep having his son eat his contingency plans.

DPXDC URANIUM GLASS

Danny phantom but he frequents thrift stores and auctions to inspect 'uranium glass' to figure out if it's actually just ectocontaminated bc they have the same signs. Uv fluorescence, slightly radioactive, green tint. He just has a duplicate sneak into the back of the auction house to check via vibes.

Tim drake is an avid atendee to glassware auctions, looking for kryptonite imbued glass which has all the same signs as uranium glass, Uv fluorescence, slightly radioactive, green tint. He has his brothers sneak in behind the scenes to use the special 'bat-detector' (a horrifically frankensteined geiger counter and spectrometer) to check out suspicious pieces.

Now normally they don't mind eachother, they occasionally run into eachother looking at glass behind the scenes, but tend to leave it well and truly alone because A) they were on a time limit, B) they weren't interested in the same peices and nothing ever got stolen, and C) what were you doing at the devils sacrament??

This truce stands true for several years, an unsteady agreement to not stick noses where they don't belong beside some stilted small talk. That is until, a very nice piece shows up for auction with Uranium, Kryptonite AND Ectocontamination and thus ensues a hard fought battle between the Wayne family, renowned astrophysicist Dr D Fenton, and one very avid civillian collector.

Kryptonite = Ecto-Ranium

Danny hated this green stones, they completely negated his powers and make him feel very weak. So as he finally had time to work on it in his intership in Gotham.

The reason he even found about it, was his parents playing with them and then getting Cancer from it. And started to blame ghost for it, Jazz took him after that away from them to Gotham. The stone had played on his development, he was fucking tiny because of that.

So while Jazz worked in Akrham as assistant psychologist, he took a internship in Wayne Enterprises.

This was how Tim and Kon meet him in the Lab, working on a bracelet while glaring at a Box. Then he put on the Bracelet on his wrist.

Conner had felt it on his body as Danny open the Box and Danny started to laugh in a soft joker way:"HAHAHA! You can't fucking hurt me anymore! Stupid stone!"

Tim helped Conner up after he closed the box:" Stupid Stone?"

Danny truly proud of what he was able to do:" Yes that stupid shit made me weak all the time, since my parents got it. And now i learned there are more i fixed the problem for me in the future!"

Tim and Conner looked at each other, only someone of Kryptonian blood should feel the effects of Kryptonite.

Danny ikes to collect kryptonite

So after Dannys have been crowned ghost king the ghosts of infinite realms are trying to make a good first impression (they don't want another pharia dark) and in trying to stay in his good graces they give him coronation gifts

Several of them give him some kryptonite, red kryptonite, white kryptonite and blue kryptoniglte

Danny found that the different kryptonite react to his powers in different ways and really likes the kryptonite

Danny wanted to see if there were any more so he starts to ask around if there were more

It gets around that the ghost king likes Kryptonite best and is looking for any new Kryptonite for his collection

This leads to some of the most respected and feared members of the infiner realms to go looking for it, any different version, any different shape anything

Now this wouldn't usually catch the JL's attention but during one of Superman's fights with Lex Luther a portal opened something with lots of hands came out, destroyed lex Luthers weapon and took the kryptonite and vanished back into the portal

Kryptonite is ecto-sugar

After the ghosts realized they could create food out of the ectoplasm they needed to survive, they got a little creative about it. Many ghosts began to ask those who were chef's in their lives for sugary products: desserts, more than anything.

The problem was that the Realms did not have a star as bright as the sun, and because they were in the land of the dead it was very difficult to farm. But after much persistence they managed to obtain a plant similar to sugar cane with the help of Undergrowth.

With this, many ghosts came together to help in the process and "ecto-sugar" (later called Kryptonite) was created, which they managed to alter enough for it to multiply without the help of the plant.

However, they got too excited, the quantity of sugar increased and ended up in different sizes, there were big or small pieces everywhere.

Because of that some of the final products were simply unusable and were thrown away in random places on the Realms. Somehow this ended with the ecto-sugar multiplying its amount and ending up as little crystals everywhere, buried in the floor of the floating islands.

Even some of them were discarded in natural portals. Unfortunately for the Kryptonians, the ecto-sugar fell directly onto a desolate part of their planet and began to multiply. When the first Kryptonian discovered it, he realized he was extremely weak to it, and since he thought it was originally from his planet he named it "Kryptonite".

The real reason they were so weak to it was because the ecto-sugar was made from start to finish with death, and developed in a lifeless environment without natural sun. Naturally, with Kryptonians being glorified plants, this ended being extremely harmful to them.
