PROTECTORS AU PART 1: THE MAIN 5

TLDR: Basically it’s when the team formed early after the events of Heroes Day AND after Mayura made he first appearance (so no S3 and beyond). While the villain Papillon gained a new ally, the duo gained 3 new teammates, alongside the foreign friends (more later). Because of this, the adventures grow bigger as more things change, but they do stay the same.

And so, here’s our the heroes changed in this new timeline:

Ladybug

-You know her name and know her stories, so she’s basically the same

-despite the fact that she kind of went behind Fu’s back and made more heroes without his permission (blame chat noir for that)

-anxious about the concequences, but Star tells her that that’ll come later. Now’s the time to have fun

-Helps teach the foreigners about what the Miraculouses are and their limits

Chat Noir

-The trusty partner to everyone’s favorite spotty heroine

-More of a talker then her partner

-Was the one that made Alya, Nino, and Chloe full time and talked Marinette into letting it happen

-filled with hope and possitivity

-more vocal about his father’s behavior

-does not like being called “cat noir”

Rena Rouge

-The first of the new heroes

-People thought she was gonna disrupt the dynamic, but made it better

-Won’t have time for anyone’s behavior, and will be blunt

-Ladybug’s best friend

Carapace

-The second of the new heroes

-Has zero merch, which upsets him

-AmazIng taste in music and will use it to cheer people up

-Great with tech, but not as great as Wukong (later)

-Chat Noir’s best friend

Queen Bee

-Third and last of the new heroes

-Everyone knows she’s Chloe Bourgeois, the nasty daughter of the mayor, but is working on being less nasty to everyone

-Is a hero to save herself and save everyone along the way

-People slowly accept she’s trying to change and does support her

-has a social media following, which works in the heroes favor due to her influential words of cheering people up

-Pollen, Steven, Sabrina, and Mabel (missing) are 4 of the most important people of her road to redemption

-Apologizes to the people she badmouthed one by one, faces some punishment from them but is forgiven.

-Her main villain is Mayura

So yea, this is the main 5 Miraculous Heroes of the Protectors. All 5 knows who eachother is, and so is the 7 foreigners that help make up the Protectors

You know that moment that happens very often in reveal fics, where Adrien is like: Wow, I can’t believe the two girls I love are the same person?!?!

Well I think that this trope would also fit it well for fics where Gabriel finds out their identities. I think it could go something along the lines of:

Gabriel: Wow the two teenaged girls I hate with a passion turned out to be the same person?!?!

The messy reveal after season 5

After the universe being remade by the wish in season 5, we're probably bound to get a reveal next season.

If that so, then it's not going to be a happy one.

Think about it.

Season 6 will be in a new universe where people think Gabriel Agreste died a hero against Monarch and has a statue and everything.

Adrien got altered memories of his father being decent instead of the abusive, cold, distant, manipulative bastard that he's been for the first 5 seasons.

Marinette knows all of this and choose to not tell him to keep him happy and respect Gabriel's last wish.

Except if Ladybug and Chat Noir decide to tell each other who they finally are, well it's not gonna go the way Marinette thought at all.

She'll realise her partner as been the boy she loved the entire time, while also being the son of of Gabriel, aka Monarch, who died by remaking the universe in exchange to bring Émilie and Nathalie back.

Her whole world will crash down.

How can she reveal herself to him knowing how much she keeps him in the dark, secrets that should be his and that she doesn't want him to know to "protect" him and keep him happy.

How can she reveals herself to him knowing she's keeping him in a happy fantasy dream lie of his life?

How could she be honest with him about all of that? After all of that?

She probably won't be able to.

Especially when he asks what really happened in her finale battle against Monarch. After all as the son of Gabriel and also her partner who's been chosen to fight Hawk Moth since the very beginning alongside her he would have every right to ask about the details and the truth.

And Marinette could probably not give it to him because she's afraid of how it will break him, and if he'll end up hating her for it and her lying to him once more.

I honestly doubt she could even look him in the eye after this, let alone date him.

So she would probably break up with him right there.

Bonus points if Adrien reveal himself to her first which makes her unable to reveal herself to him in return because of the reality of the situation all crashing down on her drowning her in her lies and secrets. Like in Ephemeral in the beginning, except this time she really doesn't want to tell him, ever.

It's gonna be messy as hell.

I, for one, am looking forward to see how it will be handled.

Forget the love square drama, this is going to be the next biggest drama on the show, the love square drama will be put to shame against all the angst and drama the reveal would look like after season 5.

They lay on a rooftop, gazing at the stars on a warm summer night, when he rolled over.

"What if you're madly in love with me in my civilian form?" Chat Noir grinned his signature mischievous grin.

Ladybug glared at him. "Not this again," she warned.

"But you can't know I'm not the boy you like already," he insisted.

Her cheeks turned ever so pink. "Yes I can, Chaton," she sighed with exasperation.

Chat Noir pouted, but felt a small glow in the pit of his stomach that she used her pet name for him to soften her annoyed tone.

"You dont know what I'm like out of costume," he grumbled. "I could be the man of your dreams."

Looking back, Ladybug couldn't tell you why she lost it right then. A combination of irritation, embarrassment, and protectiveness for the rosy image of her beloved boiled over as she snapped back, "You and Adrien Agreste are nothing alike!"

A thick curtain of silence dropped upon the rooftop.

"Y-You're in love with Adrien Agreste?" Chat Noir said quietly, after a moment.

Ladybug was frozen, a million thoughts and strategies swarming her head at once. Should she try to play it off like a joke? Insist he misheard her? Run away and never speak of this again, throw her earrings in the Seine, and leave Paris to Hawkmoth?

Chat Noir scratched the back of his head awkwardly. "What, like, as a fan, or something? I always thought you'd be more into, I dunno...some guy next door, or whatever."

"I'm not just a fan!" Ladybug knew she should keep her mouth shut, but a prideful little voice egged her on. She couldn't let anyone believe she'd be so commonly shallow. "I _know_ him. He's...he's different. I thought he was an arrogant jerk, at first, but he just didn't know how to act at school, and..and..."

Oh, God, now she'd done it.

"You go to the same school?" Ladybug could see gears turning in Chat Noir's head. That rare sight was never good news.

"Forget I told you that. Please, you know how important it is for us to keep our identities secret." She was so mad at herself, she was close to tears. "I'm sorry I said anything. You don't want to hear this, I don't want to talk about it. He's in love with someone else, but I can't help how I feel, so please, let's not say any more about it."

Chat Noir grasped her hands in his.

"Promise me, Ladybug," he said, staring intensely into her eyes, "Promise me that you will tell him you love him as soon as possible. Tomorrow. Tonight, if you can."

Ladybug gaped. "Wh--"

Chat Noir smiled, with a glint of mischief in his eyes again, she thought. "I wish only for your happiness, Milady. You must trust me."

"Okay..." Ladybug didn't understand. Did he want her to be rejected so that he would have a chance? Did he really just want her to be happy, even with someone else?

"And now, it's getting late, Buguinette. Even we alley cats have our limits. Good night." Before she could reply, he had jumped off the rooftop.

She must have imagined the small whoop that she heard on his way down, into the ashy gray and yellow city night.

I’ve decided how I want the reveal to go. Bc as much as I love angst, I need the reveal to be THEIR choice and I want it to be a happy scene.

So we get through the whole story. They defeat Hawkmoth. The city is finally safe for good. They’re on the rooftop looking out at the Eiffel Tower at sunset. They turn to face each other. There’s no more reason to hide their identities. They love each other so much, as friends as partners as soulmates, that they don’t want to hold anything back anymore.

They agree to detransform at the same time. Eyes closed, they’re so nervous.

“Tiktok” “Plagg” “Spots off” “Claws in”

Their eyes are peeking, fluttering open in surprise. Then their both are smiling so hard, tears in their eyes.

Adrien speaks first.

“My lady, do you want to go to the movies with me?”

Marinette laughs and she says it for the first time. “I love you, mon chaton”

And then they’re kissing and hugging. And as the camera pulls away, they’re laughing and talking over one another. Two best friends. Two lovers. Two soulmates

The last thing we hear is they’re gonna get a hamster together. They say the name simultaneously. The scene closes

This might sound odd but I keep a Miraculous episode list in my camera roll depending on the season. And the one I have right now for season 5 is one that shows the episodes SAMG animation (the animation company that did strike back and risk) are doing. I think I got it from a YouTube video. If you know the video it’s from please tell me so I can credit them.

As you can see the two episodes marked are Action (the PSA episode) and revelation. SAMG animation only does the important episodes such as season finales. Which Action is for a project I think so I can understand why they would do that one but Revelation is in the middle of the season. And if you search up revelation meaning.

It is basically the same meaning as reveal.

So in conclusion. I think that Revelation will be the reveal episode.
