Since I know no one really pays attention to me or cares what I post on tumblr I’ll do it here until I’m comfortable with posting it on larger platforms.

How it started versus how it’s going

1 year post break up and I’m getting to where I wanna be in life.

A letter to my ex:

I love you, I always have and I always will. Even when I don't want to. Even after I've moved on. After all I have is just memories of how you used to smell, how you felt in my arms as we embraced, how your lips felt in the morning, how your laugh sounded, and how happy you made me feel when you looked into my eyes with nothing but love in yours. I don't want to feel like this, but these are the facts. I won't ever try and win you back, because unlike her, I will respect your relationship. There isn't anything you can say that will convince me I wasn't getting cheated on. And that's ok, I wasn't the best partner, I understand that. It’s the least I deserve for the pain I caused you. We are both at fault for the pain and scars we left on each other's hearts. Because of you I will never love the same way again, but that isn't your cross to bear, its mine. I just want you to know that I am sorry and that I live with everything that happened, every day.

May your life be filled with happiness and contentment. May you thrive and grow and become an amazing person, not just for yourself but for the people in your life. May you have everything you've ever dreamed of, and then some.
