Solved some questions from rheumatology block today and brushed up on lower limb anatomy. I would study anatomy everyday and still be the weakest in the subject😒. Made a good cup of hazelnut coffee. Random backstory time: My resting heart rate used to be on the higher end since my childhood. It took me a long years of aerobic exercises along with caffeine restriction to reduce them to normal. For someone who is obsessed with coffee it was very difficult cutting down on my coffee from 3 cups a day to less that one cup a week. But this definitely helped me alleviate my symptoms of anxiety. Therefore consuming a good coffee after a long time definitely hit different today🤌🏾✨

life lately is filled with lots of studying via practice questions and breaks filled with books and crafts and baking! i currently have a pleasant board exam study schedule that consists of a nice slow morning with a matcha latte and some reading, completing 160 practice questions, then relaxing the rest of the evening with the usual hobbies like reading, crocheting and knitting, cross-stitching, etc. recently i’ve read the idiot by elif batuman, berlin by bea setton, and now i’m reading either/or (sequel to the idiot) by myself and the thursday murder club by richard osman with my boyfriend. overall having a much better time studying for step 2 than for step 1!

A week full of mixed emotions. At first I contract a random viral gastroenteritis and I am left super lactose intolerant now. Found it the hard way after having a toast with cheese today👍🏽.

Finished reading the latest chapter of JJK. I was spoiled about it long before so I am not shocked or sad. But I have huge anticipation for the upcoming arcs.

After weeks of cloudy and rainy mornings, weather has been sunny for the past two days and the table roses are thriving!

Also almost done with volume 1 of NICU protocols. This textbook is very straightforward and the language is simple. I am able to cover several pages in a day even though I have been studying only an hour or two everyday.
