quinn: choke by i don't know how but they found me

onto a much less romantic one, i feel like this song represents quinn while the lyrics represent darlin? like the instrumental is so happy-go-lucky and doesn't take itself very seriously, just like quinn doesn't take darlin very seriously, he just sees them as a fun little plaything. and then the lyrics are darlin resenting quinn and their anger towards him for being such a p.o.s yknow? very much a deep dive but yes this is their song

adam: chandelier by will paquin

the reason i chose this song mainly rests on the lyrics 'i might be the enemy, but nothing quite hits like you'. like?? quintessentially adam and lovely tbh? the song feels restless and chaotic, just like adam does to me

so I just went to ao3 to filter it by hits which I’ve never done before. and. extremely humiliated to say it’s this fic I wrote for wonder woman (2017). hell. (this is also strange bc it doesn’t have that many comments)

I have a couple bc one thing about me... also there’s one (tentatively) which I haven��t started yet that’s basically a 5+1 with pennymav. they’re such an underrated ship and inspiration struck me one day so yeah that’s in the works too

this is funny because bruises of our failures is (mostly) mav pov but I love writing ice. idk he’s so repressed and constipated and awkward and hiding all that beneath indifference and apathy. *twirling hair* he just like me fr

I feel like this is pretty obvious in the way I write but the one thing I love about him is that he isn’t just being reckless for reckless’ sake. like you’re not gonna see him pull off dangerous moves in the air if there’s no end goal, he does everything for a reason! it’s just that the way he goes about doing it is perhaps a little riskier than some might like but it’s for a reason. and this isn’t something that only developed in the sequel, it’s obvious in the first movie too- the narrative just put a much deeper focus on his recklessness. (this is why I’m a bit 👀 when people write mav just being.... reckless for no reason.... just doing shit bc he can.... because really?? really???)

and bc this was a pretty ordinary headcanon I’m gonna give you another one LMFJDJJD my second headcanon is much more dumb and it’s basically. mav likes romcoms. he fucking loves them. so sue him he’s a romantic at heart and he kinda likes it when they run towards each other in the end and kiss in the rain. I feel like after a day of dealing with idiots and flying in the air and nearly dying a total of ten times he’d want to watch people fall in love and sometimes goose joins him too.

Thotty Thursday: Part 2

The second installment of Thotty Thursday is upon us. Rejoice, heathens!

Now, let me just say that I’m picking dudes at random while trying to keep things balanced between old shows and new ones but ... y’all really bout to notice some patterns the more we do this so I’m just gonna wait for someone to call me out tbh. 😰

FYI, I like to think of myself as an equal opportunist thirster and if a dude is hot then he’s hot. I’m not one to question this shit. But when you get right down to it I have like four types: high IQ smarty pants, dummy thicc, dad and bad boy bastard. Our next snack belongs in the last category, without question.

Full disclosure, I started reading Magi: Labyrinth of Magic before the anime aired and his name was originally translated as Judal so that’s what he’s always going to be in my mind. The official translation is Judar, and I respect that, but at the end of the day I do not know her

Can I also just take a moment to point out that gloriously long, thick braid he’s sporting tho

This man has hair for days and there’s just something I find incredibly attractive about that

I want to take it all down and carefully comb through it, play with it and style it again

Now, the setting alone had my interest PIQUED right out the gate because I love Middle Eastern inspired aesthetics and I truly don’t think it’s utilized as a setting half as much as it deserves to be. It’s very beautiful imo and the anime team did a pretty good job of capturing that vibe but if I’m being honest I think the manga was better (up to a point)

However there ain’t nothing quite like seeing your man move on screen or hearing his voice with your own two ears and when I say Judal put on a show each time he showed up ... 🥵

I think I can safely say my pussy clenched whenever I got so much as a whiff of him possibly making an appearance, PHEW

Again, I like the challenge he represents

But also I just like a man who can make me cry 🤷‍♀️

And I don’t doubt he absolutely would. Tears probably turn him on tbh and I’m positive he’s got a bit of a yandere streak too

When he was still a (too precious for words) child, he was abducted by an evil cult so that they could manipulate him and use his powers to influence shit in a bad way. The exact details of what they did to him are hazy, but based on the snippets we did get it seems like they basically put Judal on a pedestal and raised him as if he were some kind of god or a king

I’m talking waiting on him hand and foot, giving him whatever he wanted, essentially worshiping him and using persuasive mind control magic to convince him that he’s the best thing to happen since sliced bread

And it worked

Can you tell exactly how fucked up this kid is right now

Keep in mind here that I’m not saying his screwed up personality isn’t the result of some seriously bad mojo

Magi are supposed to be what tips the scales of fate in this setting which, generally, means for the betterment of the world and this whack ass cult pointedly steered him down a path he otherwise would not have gone

But it’s this tragic past of his that really brings the whole package together

He could be a mean pretty boy for no other reason than because he wants to and I’d still drop into a split on his cock

I like mean for the sake of mean too

It’s just that knowing what made him the way he is gives us the perfect amount of insight to truly feel sympathetic despite all the bad shit he has done and will continue to do

Personally, it makes me want to be the one to show him genuine, tender affection no matter how much he’s initially appalled by the mere suggestion so in a lot of ways it’s similar to how I feel towards Hiei

But that doesn’t mean I want him to change and start being n - 🤢 start being nice - 🤮

He’s perfect just the way he is and there’s just something about big, confident egos that gets me going like little else

And Judal seems to truly believe he’s the greatest gift the world has ever received and he’s not wrong about that imo so yeah he definitely has an attitude problem

But that also means he’s a spoiled brat tho and he’s definitely one of those dudes who needs to be dommed on occasion to really get the full experience 👀

I am not too shy to pin him down and milk his cock for all it’s worth, that is all I’m saying fam

And can I just point out how breathtakingly gorgeous he’d look all flushed and sweaty, whimpering like a needy little bitch in heat while having his prostate relentlessly teased for hours on end?

The royal family for the most part treats him like one of their own despite not being related in any way, if that tells you exactly how much clout he pulls in this setting, and even tho they’re essentially using him for their own gain Judal doesn’t seem to mind it one bit

He likes being at the top and having the freedom to do whatever he wants so if that means doing a little dirty work for the Kou Empire then so be it

And I’d be lying if I said I wouldn’t be a ride or die on these little errands

Like, just imagine this pretty boy pulling up to you on his flying carpet (that’s not a joke or something I just pulled out of my ass btw) and asking if you want to come back to his crib for some fun

You say yes, because you might be a thirsty slut but you’re certainly not STUPID

Okay so hear me out because I’m gonna drop everything right now -

I am so, so lonely nowadays and tbh I don’t like living where I am now. I have a beautiful girlfriend I’ve been with for more than a year but she lives in the US and we haven’t seen each other fr yet except for the occasional Skype video call and I am just really... struggling. I want to be there or for her to be here and I don’t know what to do at this point because if it were easy to fly to the US, guys, I would’ve done so in a heartbeat! But here’s my problem, to get a US VISA as a Filipino these are the results I got through months and months of research:

1. A travel VISA - which is already nearly impossible to get unless you’ve gone to a large number of countries already (which I haven’t), and it requires a helluva lot of money that I don’t have (I’m poor), both to pay for the VISA application fee AS WELL as the plane ticket ON TOP OF the fact that, prior to that, I’d have to afford flights and VISA’s to OTHER COUNTRIES in order to even be eligible - AAND even with that, there’s still a possibility that I may get denied. Not to mention, even if I do get a travel VISA, it’s not a permanent fix - I’ll still have to go home before my VISA expires, and then apply for a new one, which - YES - needs another VISA application fee to be paid, another expensive plain ticket, and another “hello-and-goodbye” because a travel VISA, again, isn’t permanent. 2. A business VISA - probably one of the more straightforward methods in theory but hARD to acquire in reality. Why? I’ll need to be employed by someone in the US who is willing to endorse me and have me move to the US, and where do I even go about finding employers like that? Which employer would choose to hire someone they need to spend money on when they have a multitude of people already in the country to hire? Look, I’m not special. I work as a customer service representative (solely email because anxiety prevents me from doing phone work). That’s all I’ve ever done. Why would an employer bother to spend money getting a potential employee to the US when they already have a ton of eligible people already there? 3. Last but not the least, a fiancé VISA. This method is the closest to a guarantee of getting me to the US to be with her but I would NEVER, EVER force my girlfriend to marry me so early for the sake of it. I don’t want to force her into anything neither of us are ready for. I don’t want to force her into anything she might not even want to do. 4. Let me just say it. As a Filipino, I’ve found that it’s really hard to go to the US because of limitations, social biases, as well as a lot of issues with the system itself.

I’ve already saved up enough to afford the very costly, expensive VISA application fee (it’s almost 9000 PHP and that’s a LOT of money here) but now I don’t know where to go or what to do and god damn, call me sensitive idc but I’ve woken up too many times in the morning crying because I’d give anything to wake up next to her for once. It feels heavy. It feels draining. I know it’s been draining her too. We’ve gone through some rough patches because of it, because of this distance, but still we try to find ways around it but personally I just,,, I don’t know what to do.

God, I’m already so willing to drop everything here and move to another country for her, I know I’m ready for that, but the question is how. How. Every where I turn, I feel like I’m hitting a brick wall and I just want to bang my head against it over and over again. I feel so helpless and so hopeless because all I want in the world is to be with her - every shooting star, every dandelion, every birthday candle is spent wishing for that same thing - but I’m unlucky enough to be thrown into a country that’s already so hard to escape from, much less when the destination is a country that’s equally as hard to escape to.

Help me out here, Tumblr. I don’t want to lose her. She’s my best friend and my lover, my partner and my girlfriend and all that I could ever want in the world, she’s my sunshine and the thought of losing her is just so crushing to me. I know this is hard on her too and I don’t want her struggling or hurting anymore but I don’t know what to do anymore. I need help. I need hope. If anybody out there knows a way, any way, please let me know.

do you wear contacts and/or glasses: glasses. i literally CANNOT see without them. i mean like 2 inches from my glasses-less face is so blurry its unbelievable. i get super triggered by eye stuff tho so contacts are a no go ALSO i look weird w/o glasses anyway.

would you like to get married: honestly. marriage as an institution? angers me. i dont like a lot of things about it. BUT. part of the reason i hate it is honestly if ur in a long long term relationship with someone ur better off married than not in terms of the benefits so. id happily get married if the other person wanted and/or we felt like it was the right thing to do, i just dont really care about being married or having a wedding tbh.

do you want kids? how many if so: no. hard pass. i might adopt if im long-term with someone who SUPER wants kids but that likely wont happen because i dont want to get into a long-term relationship with someone so desperate for kids since i dont have that same enthusiasm. sorry. ill be ur uncle gabe but im not having my own children im just not well equipped to literally have a full time job of making sure little idiots (meant affectionately) who dont know fuck from shit dont just straight up die. i can barely do that for myself.

what was your scariest dream: hmmmm. when i was a kid i had these recurring dreams where i worked at this like. “zoo” where these MASSIVE, i mean ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE string rays that were also pancakes were like. hooked up to make electricity? anyway i hated the job because we all abused the rays super bad to make them generate the power and it sucked and it was all dystopian. there was stuff where like we had to kill the baby rays and stuff. anyway one day it went all planet of the apes and they broke out somehow and could fly and they killed loads of people and i had to go into hiding because they were super clever and could id who had worked at the zoo plant and wanted revenge. its super weird ik but this is pretty tame for my dreams they go HARD and BIZARRE and this one always made me wake up feeling super sick and scared idk. ur welcome.

Turbulence in Chicago

okay so im gonna put everything i can remember from the show in here because omg so much happened

since jb’s birthday was a few weeks ago, we started the show by singing him happy birthday

bambam dabbing for a minute straight (used both arms and his leg at one point?? he was rubbing his neck afterwards from dabbing too hard lmao)

jackson getting jb to say “netflix and chill”

if they weren't idols, yugyeom would be a dancer (HIT THE STAGE), bambam would be a youtuber (”SUBSCRIBE”), youngjae would be studying to be a music therapist :’), jb would be going to college and hanging out with his friends more (??? then jackson brought up netflix and chill and made it dirty but it sounded like jb had no idea what netflix and chill was and the translator was shook), mark would be in college (bambam said he would work at in-n-out jffgksdfjk), jinyoung would be an ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHER (jackson got on his knees in front of him and jinyoung patted his head omg), and jackson would be an athlete because “i have the thighs for it” (HE SAID THAT)

jinyoung’s first question (he pulled two and convinced danny lim to let him do both) was for jb and asked “why are you so handsome”

jb said that he didnt know

so jackson shouts “YOU’RE GORGEOUS HONEY.... I LOVE YOUR NOSE” (me too tbh)

jackson said that his craziest concert experience was when they were doing hard carry at an award show and it was cold af, so when he was turning, his snot was flying out of his nose!! he said it almost hit youngjae but it missed him

if yugyeom was an animal, he’d be a golden retriever (jackson played fetch with him on stage??? and he started barking???)

mark’s ideal type is cute and shorter than him (so daniel lim basically)

bambam said that they’re the only group who ships themselves and then jackson starting yeling markbam and jackjae, bambam went over to gyeom and was basically like “ok but yugbam tho”

youngjae really loves chicago style pizza it was so cute when he talked about it

apparently the bed sheets in their hotel were super soft because they all started talking about it

they get so competitive omfg their rock paper scissors match plus yelling their names in the mic so danny would pick them to say the answer

punishment #1 was doing 5 squats while flapping their arms like ahgase (youngjae did so many squats i was #blessed and jb started to bboy when he did his squats)

punishment #2 was doing that one aegyo song (i cannot remember whats its actually called but you all know what im talking about)

yugyeom won both games (with just the guys + the one with the fans)

when bambam’s partner was walking to the backstage thing, bambam was like “hurry up ive been waiting for u all my life”

jackson also said something similar but i dont remember

they were lowkey rushing because none of the girls introduced themselves???

so danny was like “whats your team name” and bambam was like “it’s lit” and then he turns to his partner and goes “wait whats your name?”

jackson shouted into his mic “YOUVE BEEN WAITING FOR HER YOUR WHOLE LIFE AND YOU DONT KNOW HER NAME???”

THE GIRL SITTING DIRECTLY NEXT TO US GOT PICKED TO BE MARK’S PARTNER AND I WAS SHOOK

youngjae’s vocals slayed as always and again i was Shook like fr stop sleeping on his talent he is an incredible singer (he started singing boomx3 a capella and it was AMAZING)

EAAAAASSSYYYYYY and SO AMAZING

for ending speeches, jackson said he always asks himself if he’s happy with what he’s doing and went “the answer is always yes” and then he talked about wanting igot7s to be respected and that he doesnt want other group’s fans to look down on us

jinyoung KILLED ME WITH HIS ENGLISH HE’S WORKING SO HARD IM SO HAPPY FOR HIM. anyway, he said that we should stay healthy and he was like “we know it was really cold outside” (it was cold af i couldnt feel my hands for like 20 minutes when we were in line) and talked about how he’s happy to get love from american fans

mark talked about how chicago is the only town they’ve come to for 3 years in a row (see: my longest yea boi ever) and he also said that we should stay warm in the chicago weather (i zoned out during his speech bc i was looking at youngjae im sorry)

jb said that he’s grateful for all the fans’ love and appreciation for the past three years (again i was too captivated by youngjae to remember more)

youngjae said he really appreciated the passion that the chicago fans had and actually stopped for a minute because he couldnt think of what to say sdkjfdsh my baby

bambam said that chicago has this energy that got7 is drawn to and that he vibes off of the fans’ passion so he’s happy that we give them so much love

also bambam said that we aren’t allowed to look at other boys because igot7s are only for got7,,,,,,,, im not crying you are

instead of talking, yugyeom showed us his feelings by doing a sexy dance to prove it,,,,,,,, i watched kim yugyeom hump the floor and it was incredible

in the encore, jb kept throwing sweat towels into the crowd and being extra af about it

youngjae was standing on the pit barrier and it looked like he almost got pulled down into the fans but he got out of it before it could happen

they were all taking phones from fans to film videos and it was super cute

barely an hour after the show ended, they were on vlive from backstage at the theater

in conclusion, this was an incredible night and i’d give anything to live it again fgjfgdkgjfd
