Like if we were talking about the concept of Cameron being a boring character, I would argue the hell out of it. After Damian, she’s my fave and I feel like she had a lot of potential that hadn’t been utilized.

“Hmm… Let me think over it… I don’t think I will stop brushing your hair, my dear” Alastor hums out in a snarky yet dapper fashion, his transatlantic-accented voice echoey and menacing with the usual radio lace as he continues to brush your hair humming out a old-timey tune under his breath, long sharp fingers holding nice silky strands over his palm. You’re getting ready for a special party Princess Charlie Morningstar is arranging as a celebration for the first client, Sir Pentious, being redeemed. Here is Alastor behaving like you can’t doll yourself up on your own

Sometimes, you seriously think Alastor views you as an eight year old and he’s adopted you as to act like your surrogate older brother-caretaker. He’s overprotective, he shoves you away from arguments as to ‘protect your little ears’, he is quite favouritistic over you that it’s obvious, he gives you all kinds of cute gifts, he lets you touch him when nobody else can. As compared to how he treats Husk and Niffty, the overpowered Overlord treats you much more civil. He does act like a clingy loving boundary-stepping brother, it’s weird…

Even Charlie notices it but nobody really wants to point out, other than Vaggie, how weird it is to see Alastor baby and babytalk you in the Hotel Lobby, with no shame, like you’re five years old. Who would ever think a narcissistic, violent but yet charismatic demon like Alastor could express genuine affection to anybody else? Alastor, in a rather impressively fast pace, ties up your hair in a cute fluffy bun for this upcoming party. As if he’s tied up women’s hair many times over

How about himself? Will he attend this party? No but he’ll go to watch over you, that’s it. He isn’t going to participate in the event, he isn’t on the side of redemption. He’s here for his own amusement and he especially isn’t a fan of get-togethers, even if he behaves and dresses like he attends the most lavish rich parties all the time. He isn’t much of a party man and he just wants to make sure his surrogate little sister isn’t being creeped on

“Look at that, darling. Simple magnificent” You can’t help but roll your eyes at Alastor’s half-praise whilst putting in a nice pair of diamond earrings, himself readjusting your dress so it’s comfortably hugging your body. Hearing the Radio Demon speak in usual half-talking down, babying manner to you, he always does it. On his end, he was admiring how pretty you look when he finished fixing you up. You’re the most pretty girl in this shitty Hotel and he’d love to rub into Vaggie’s face, he is still very annoyed at the Hotel Manager insulting his relationship with you. However, this is too risky, getting into a fight with Vaggie at the party will cause his murderous itch bubble over

And he doesn’t want to be violent or monstrous around his little sister

I can walk to the Lobby on my own, I am not five” You’re not very good at expressing your desire for space with this demon, nobody has the confidence to tell Alastor what to do or to fuck off, and Alastor himself has absolutely no grasp on personal space so even when you spell it out for him, he just ignores it. Picking you up from your chair in front of the makeup mirror with zero effort and placing you down before him

All ready, pampered and sparkly to a degree he thought you were outshining the Hotel room’s light, Alastor’s wide sharp toothy grin almost feels less of power and dominance, and more genuine and prideful over… what? Over you?

“My dear. I can’t just let such a precious princess go out there all on her own. Allow me to escort you, as a family member. It’s the least a brother can do” Your suspicions over this Overlord’s intentions towards his brotherly-like affections to you has been confirmed. He does view you as a little sister and whilst his treatment of you, though trying his best to be affectionate and caring that comes off as belittling and bothersome, he doesn’t just view you as another soul to be exploited as to serve him and the Hotel he’s investing in

It’s kinda flattering and you just think for a bit whilst Alastor offers out his arm for you with patient silence and his grin never dying out, blood red eyes still locked on you like a proud older brother. Maybe, you’ve been a bit too harsh to this possibly really lonely deer-featured sinner. Maybe, you can just give him a chance and let this whole surrogate older brother-younger sister bond he is trying to develop with you actually blossom

Some people are probably expecting me to say some wild shit like he's the worst, he doesn't respect boundaries, he's always angry at you, doesn't listen to the safe word, ect ect.

I don't think that's true

Am I saying he's all soft and squishy? No. But Bi-Han is not a terrible dom.

Bi-Han is a perfectionist so any precautions beforehand are definitely gonna be dealt with. What he wants outta this, what you want, limits, ect.

Onto dealing with a brat though, we already know Bi-Han has a short temper so any bratty behavior would noticeably annoy him

Smth that would guarantee a punishment would be acting out in front of other Lin Kuei or just in public. It'd be discreet enough that no one would really notice what's going on, but obvious enough that he'd know you're being a brat on purpose

Questioning certain orders, doing things extremely slow, talking over him, the list could go on. Being bratty around people especially when he's supposed to be “professional” is the quickest way to get a punishment

I kinda see it as a storm. You know it's coming, you see the signs, but when it happens you still go “dammit. I can't believe it's raining like this”

Does he warn you? Yes. But he only does it once. If you keep going, he mentally writes it all down

Now Bi-Han doesn't strike me as someone who particularly likes physical touch all the time but punishments don't have to be the typical spanking or harsh fucking. He can be more creative

I feel like he enjoys punishments that have to do with humiliation. There's so much control in telling you to do something and you just follow it.

Very much a “ride my boot” type of guy

The type to make you orgasm over and over again and you don't stop until he's satisfied (obviously keeping your safety and what you can take in mind though)

Takes bratty behavior seriously. He's not making funny little jokes or nothing of the sort. He's putting you in your place

His punishments would linger. For example he'd tell you to tell him whenever you got horny and why for like, a solid week. This seems small but if you get hormonal easily, you're going up to him a lot and he's shaming you everytime.

His arms? You're that easy? How could you even survive without him?

Is also very organized. So organized I think he'd have a secret way to tell you he's actually not in the mood or too busy for you.

“Go take a walk” means “not right now”

Bratty behaviors that would bother him the most I think would be doing dumb shit. Like, below average IQ type of things.

It bothers him because you're not stupid so stop acting stupid. If he says do A, don't do B

But it's fine. You wanna play stupid? He can do that.

I know I said Bi-Han’s punishments sometimes linger but it really ain't got shit on Kuai Liang’s

If you wanna act like you don't understand basic orders because you wanna act out, then he's gonna act like he doesn't understand anything you want.

You say “I need you” but he goes to do something else. What's the problem? Clearly you were saying you needed him to do laundry that day.

You say “touch me” but he touches you everywhere except where you really need him

You could say something as clear as “please make me cum” and he'd bring you close, but would stop. Why are you upset? You didn't say what day to make you cum. You'll do it later.

Every single request you have for him turns into something you didn't want and he watches with satisfaction as it slowly drives you insane.

And doing other bratty behaviors to try and get a response outta him doesn't work because the more bratty you act, the longer he's gonna keep this up. He has the patience to do this too.

This won't stop until you're on your knees begging like a madman for him to do anything to make you feel good and promising you'll behave from now on.

Honestly, I'm interpreting that scene through the lens of Selina isn't being entirely honest in the way she talks to Jason--she's pissed at him for joining her side by pretending that he's agreeing with her, when he clearly doesn't, when he's been shit-talking her ideas the entire time, just using it as an excuse to pummel her guys instead of training them (in her eyes), and using her to get to the Joker instead of actually helping her. I read her as deliberately antagonizing him in that scene because she's sick of his shit and, if he's going to be a shit to her, she'll be a shit right back to him, by pretending to not take this seriously just because she knows it'll piss him off. I mean, I'm with you in that I think Selina being forced into this entire plan is bad writing on her behalf, SELINA IS SMARTER THAN THIS, HOW DARE YOU INSULT HER INTELLIGENCE, DC, but in that scene specifically, it worked for me, because she is soooooo annoyed with this whiny little shit, he deserves her serving up the same shit right back to him.

That is the face of a woman who has HAD ENOUGH of Jason Todd's bullshit and Selina's style has always been to dig her claws into someone by lying about what she does or doesn't care about. I think Selina does care that these people have probably killed innocent people before, but her counterpoint is: She can't do anything to bring those people back and now she's trying to stop more innocent people from being killed by offering a different path. She's taking a harm reduction path as much as she can. Yeah, they're going to make mistakes, but if she can still reduce those mistakes, isn't it worth trying? Or is one mistake enough that she should never try any other path ever again, even though it means they'll immediately go back to killing lots of innocent people? I know that path is annoyingly bad on an authorial level, we the audience can poke so many holes in it (and I think the narrative mostly agrees), but within the story, I think her reaction isn't that she doesn't care, it's that she's deliberately needling Jason because he's been getting on her nerves with his behavior and this was designed to set him off, and like. He was being kind of a little shitty to her, I say with full affection for what a hot mess he is. And she's not trying to eradicate ALL innocent people's deaths (because that's NOT POSSIBLE, it's not a feasible goal in her mind), but she's trying to bring the numbers down so at least MORE PEOPLE will live. Mistakes will happen. Sometimes innocent people will die and that hurts like hell, it shouldn't happen. But it does. She's trying to be a realist about it, there are more innocent people that will die if something isn't done, and so she'll get up and keep trying again.

of all the plots they chose to take for Jade and tsum Jade, it had to be tsum Jade massaging Leona in the garden

IT WAS FUNNY THOUGH they're just talking and then they woke up Leona and then they encounter him and then tsum Jade just ?? massages Leona ??? and manages to put him back to sleep????

can I just say though Leona still calls Jade as "Azul's henchman #1" that is actually pretty funny

it's also something really interesting because Leona obviously knows Jade's name but chooses to refer to him not by name but by something like Azul's henchman. Like, I always wondered why he calls him that ever since Halloween 2 when we see him calling Jade that for the first time, and knowing that he is a pretty smart guy, is it because he can tell a nickname like that can annoy Jade? it's food for thought yknow

SECONDLY, THE FACT THAT FLOYD WAS ASKING HOW AZUL CAN IDENTIFY THE TWEEL TSUMS AND THEN HE DOUBTS AZUL'S ANSWER TO THAT QUESTION WAS THE REAL ONE ???? LIKE, THINK ABOUT IT. THE WAY THAT AZUL BEING ABLE TO TELL THE TWEELS APART MATTERED ENOUGH FOR FLOYD TO ASK THAT

Floyd does care a lot about his individuality, you will see this in his R school uniform where Riddle compares him to Jade and he gets pretty pissy about that. so think about that. (anyway, new post idea//???? if I don't get busy??????)

anyway Azul's gonna profit off of his tsum and he even made his tsum sign a contract to work in Mostro Lounge and that has to be the most ridiculous but most Azul core thing ever

anyway honestly overall this tsum event has been tiring because I had been trying to complete all the missions because yes we are gonna speed B) but also it has been good to me, we have been getting proper FOOD

thanks 4 the blogging it has helped me realize why it’s always annoyed me when ppl pathologize normal behavior as being a result of X disorder because it creates a false dichotomy between acceptable/“normal” and aberrant behavior when 99% of the time the aberrant behavior is completely mundane and how it self-justifies (e.g. you’re [disorder] because you X -> you X because you’re [disorder] -> you can’t be taken seriously because you X because you’re [disorder] -> infinite recurring hall of mirrors) anyway thank you because now that I have the words to point this reasoning out it’s made shutting people who say annoying things to me extremely efficient i was going to blow my top about being armchair diagnosed 100 times a week now i just say that obsessively pathologizing behavior is weird and tautological and people shut up. tbf they definitely armchair diagnose me further from that statement but at least they keep quiet but anyways thanks this has improved my life

people using your resistance to diagnosis to armchair dx you is sadly real as fuck lmao and it is soooooo annoying but hey im glad you feel you have a better handle on your own position here. i too felt like i had gained a lot of clarity when i was first getting exposed to this sort of critique it really does make a huge difference <3
