tlou2 ellie williams x fem!reader. college modern au universe. word count 6.8k. proofread barely. part two here
ellie is the most known dealer on campus, and reader is a stuck up, bitchy, sorority girl. somehow ending up near each other at every party, despite constant fighting. this party is no different, at first
this is smut, 18+ only. included use of pet names, mean!ellie, mean!reader, name calling.. fingering r!receiving.. etc. its a bit filthy. i wrote when high
Honestly, you hated frat parties. The loud music, the humid air and noisy college students that all reaked of jungle juice and sweat. None of it appealed to you— you always left feeling dirty and with a headache. But being in the university’s biggest sorority meant it was sort of a needed appearance.
Even now, when you were stressed beyond belief over the three different exams on monday morning. You had still been dragged out by your sorority sisters with the promise of a great party.
It never was great though. Never.
Usually you found yourself shoo-ing off shirtless frat boys advances, cup in your hand that had a bit too much cheap vodka and too little juice. If you had to deal with these things, you may as well be tipsy enough for it.
Though, the alcohol never made you any less in control of yourself. Control was what you valued most, being able to easily keep yourself in check. Making sure your well taken care of clothes never crinkled, ensuring no piece of hair was out of place. This in turn usually meant you took the role of watching over your sorority sisters. Eyeing any boys who got too touchy when they were drunk, snapping at frat guys when they didn’t take a hint. cleaning their face of tears or sweat, reapplying their mascara or lip gloss when they couldn’t. Holding their drinks with your perfectly manicured hands when they needed to pee.
You didn’t judge them for how they acted, you knew they were just having fun. Sometimes you wish you could let go like that too, join in on their dances.. giggle loudly and flirt with boys with drunken courage. But you never did. You probably wouldn’t tonight, even when your friend Dina had taken the role of sober one of the group so you could try and have fun. You still just stood straight up and watched on.
You were untouchable, everyone knew it. You saw the way boys looked at you— like they were falling over themselves just for a chance you might talk to them. Girls whispered about you, whether it be good or bad.. you didn’t exactly care. You had been called a prissy bitch one too many times to truly give a shit what other twenty somethings had to say about your attitude. You enjoyed being something no one could reach. It made you feel powerful. You rarely gave anyone that wasn’t your friends the time of day at these things, and god did it drive people crazy.
You always positioned yourself somewhere like the drink table at every party, watching on as if it was a live show for you to consume. In some ways it was.. you were always a watcher, never involved. So looking on was usually your only source of fun at these things.
Tonight was no different— eyes steady on the large group of people dancing, more so falling over each other, in the center of the room. It was grossly humid, and the flashing lights hurt your eyes. Everyone was pressed too close together— far too big of a crowd for this tiny off campus fraternity.
You found a more open place between the scratchy and old couch and the pop up plastic table. It held half empty bottles and a punch bowl full of some concoction that made you shake your head at girls when they tried to take a cup.
You stand stiffly against the wall— refusing to sit, let alone lean against the couch next to you. You didn't even want to imagine how disgusting it was.. swearing it was a lighter shade of grey last time you were here. This choice of station however was opening yourself up to a night of pure torture from a particular presence that seemed to haunt every. fucking. frat party.
Ellie Williams. Right on cue she walked over, ignoring you as she plopped down onto the couch with a few of the frat boys. She opens a little bag and turns in to face them. Of course. Obviously the stoners would choose the couch as their designated spot for the night.
Even if she had not acknowledged you, you already were burning with annoyance. The orange lighting currently overhead painted you the same color your insides felt. A growing flame, dull and orange in the pit of your stomach.
Ellie was a usual attendee at these parties. But not with a group of friends or some sorority like a normal person. No, Ellie was the chosen dealer for most fraternities of the university.. meaning she almost always showed up to smoke and give out to stingy college students.
But god, you could not understand what made her the choice for these people. You found her utterly obnoxious. She was loud— had the mouth of a sailor, and was always making god awful jokes. She had no shame— outwardly talking to whoever she wanted however she wanted, flirting with girls no matter the situation. Because Ellie also referred to sit out on the side of the parties, it meant you unfortunately spent a lot of time around her. You heard every stupid joke, smelt every gross joint, watched every girl swoon over her atrocious flirting. It was miserable really.
And god did she love to annoy you. It was too easy. She had discovered that at the start of last spring semester, and since then, almost a year ago, had made it a fun game for her. It became routine — and you swore she did it on purpose. Found somewhere close to you, invaded your space, and made the party even worse. Ellie would never admit that though.
Tonight wasn’t different. You couldn’t avoid your eyes drifting to where she was collecting cash from a few frat guys, loudly laughing and making jokes about some Jurassic Park movie that a frat guy promised to put on the projector later.
“Nah, the second one is way better!” The frat boy, Josh from Sigma something-something (you didnt care to remember the names) argued.
Ellie quickly shook her head, and you noticed she was wearing that messy half up half down hairstyle you once told her looked dumb. “You fucking idiot, the first is way better! It's iconic and so are the dinosaurs in it!” she fights back, lightheartedly shoving Josh’s arm.
God, did she have to be so loud? It was already loud enough with the shitty music playing. You tuned out the rest of the conversation.. or attempted to. Ellie’s laugh made its way up and over the beat of the song playing. You looked over again, watching the way her head fell back. Even from here you could see the freckles on her face. The low colorful flashing lights of the room made them hard to see sometimes, though. Not that you cared.
Eventually, Josh and the three other boys got up and moved away from the couch— emptying the line of sight from you to Ellie. She caught your gaze before you could look away, and smiled that stupid cocky smile she always did.
“Need somethin’ princess?” Ellie questioned as she scooted to the seat closest to the edge you stood closest to. The name made you clench your fist tightly around the cup in your hands. She had adopted this nickname for you after commenting about 1200 times how you dressed and acted at these parties. ‘Stuck up princess’ she had called you after one particular comment. It stuck after that.
“Nope,” you popped the P, sipping at the vodka in your cup and refusing to meet her eyes again.
“You were staring.”
“Was not, you got my attention by being obnoxiously loud,” you bit back.
Ellie held her hands up in surrender, “Whatever you say.”
You scoffed, turning your nose up and looking at the center of the party again. Mentally you counted your friend group and where they all were in the crowd. One finger came to press a strand of hair back into your hairdo, and then press a hand to smooth your shirt. You just wanted to get through the next hour or two and get home to study.
You can hear the flick of a lighter next to you, and bite back a sigh. Ellie had been sitting here all of five minutes and had already resorted to smoking. Unsurprisingly.
When the smell soon invades the small space between you, and that flame of annoyance in your belly grows to a small blaze.
At first you ignore it, sniffing and rubbing your nose like it would make the smell disappear. You glance around the room, eyeing some particularly loud and annoying men who were whooping and hollering. Soon though, the smell became too much. You turned to face the couch.
“Ugh,” you make a noise of disgust, loud enough for Ellie to turn her head to you. You pair the sound with a (very dramatic) scrunched up nose. “You smell horrible.”
Ellie smiles in a lazy sort of way, legs spread comfortably on the couch and head leaned slightly to look at you. She makes it a point to blow the next puff from the joint straight at you— enjoying the way your hands come to swat away the smoke like it was poison. “S’ just weed princess.. can't hurt you.”
Your arms cross, and Ellie watches as they press against the pretty baby blue lace shirt you're wearing.. too clean, too soft for a party like this. “It can make me stink though, like I already pointed out. Some of us care about things like personal hygiene, Williams,” you argue, to which she whistles, adding a quiet, “damn, low blow..”
She sits up straighter, leaning forward to inspect you. Seeing the pretty skirt that falls to your mid thigh— Ellie doesn’t doubt even for a moment that the white fabric caught lingering stares of every horny drunk college boy in the room when you walked in with your group.
But here you were, choosing to insult her instead of entertaining a single one of them.
“What's the reason for stick up your ass tonight?” She asks, making your eyes roll.
“Oh screw you, I’m acting perfectly reasonably.”
Ellie actually laughed at that, loudly enough to make you turn your head in embarrassment. “The way you act with me is never reasonable actually, but tonight is extra bad. You look stiffer and didn’t even attempt to be civil.”
It annoyed you even more that she noticed the stress radiating off of you so easily. She always could— it made her even better at pulling on the threads of you that made you most annoyed. She knew how to get a rise out of you.
“It's absolutely none of your business, Ellie,” you snap. Maybe it was a little harsh for such a simple question, but the auburn haired girl beside you got that out of you easily.
“God, would it kill you to be a little less bitchy for one night?” her green eyes narrowed in at you and she took another puff of the joint. Your eyes followed as she tilted her head up to the ceiling to blow out the smoke.
“Fuck you,” you mumble.
“Fuck you too, princess.”
There's a moment of heavy silence between the two of you, lights flashing now between a deep blue and green. The toe of your shoe tapped into the wood of the floor, the repeated motion serving as a distraction from the annoyance that Ellie caused. Your mind falls back to the exams you have to study for tonight.
The distraction quickly ends when the voice you had come to recognize anywhere popped up again. “Can you chill out? I can hear your shoe tapping from here.”
You huff, biting the inside of your cheek. “Can you shut the hell up? Go back to your joint and leave me alone.”
Ellie just scoffs, mumbling something about you needing the smoke more than her.
You ignore it, but can't deny how your mind wanders to the comment. What would it be like to smoke? Would it take the edge off like everyone said? You had only tried once or twice before.. both at a small get together where you ended up having to sober up quickly to care for your drunken friends.
“Seriously,” Ellie says a bit louder. “Come sit and have a smoke.”
“Excuse me?” you look at her like she had suggested the two of you take your clothes off mid party. Or she had suddenly grown two heads. It would offend her, the clear disgust— if she didn’t know you so well.
“There's a huge group of drunk guys walking over right now-“ she pointed with one of her fingers to where they were passing some game of beer pong. “If you stay there you’ll just get more pissed off and strung up when they bump into you and shit.”
You eye the group, slightly annoyed that Ellie was again right about how you would react. You glance then at the couch, at the weird dark stain and uncomfortable looking material. “I'm not smoking. But if you want me to sit? Take off your sweatshirt.”
Now it was Ellie’s turn to ask, “Excuse me?”
You make a face at her, pointing to the gross couch. “I’m not sitting on that nasty couch. If you want me to sit? take off your sweatshirt and let me use that.”
You know it's a bratty request, and neither you or Ellie look away from each other for a moment, not knowing who was going to make the first move. You almost regret it, and then Ellie reaches to the bottom of her sweatshirt.
It sends some sort of shockwave through you when she pulls the material over her head. You convince yourself it's because you feel like you have won, gotten your way over the girl you hated. Definitely not because her undershirt rode up for a moment, or that her sleeve tattoo was now on display.
“You’re such a fucking bitch,” she says in a exasperated tone, but still lays the sweatshirt across the seat on next to her on the couch.
You smile sarcastically, “Mhm, thanks,” you move to the front of the couch, holding your skirt down as you sit on top of her sweater and press forward, sitting straight up so the back of your shirt doesn't hit the couch. You felt Ellie’s eyes on you, on the very large gap between you. “I can't infect you with something you know?” the auburn haired girl says a bit slowly.
“Haven’t I said it a million times? You smell bad.”
Ellie’s lip quirk into a smile and she doesn’t reply, placing the joint between her lips again and lighting it for another drag.
Just like she described, the group of college boys clambered over to the drink table, invading the corner you were just standing in to shout loudly and put the bottles wildly into cups. You cringe, shifting in your seat. You wouldn’t admit it, but you were glad Ellie had asked you to sit now.
The two of you didn’t talk, for a moment you watch Ellie’s freckled cheeks suck in slightly as she takes a drag, and watch her lips part to blow it out. Unable to tear your eyes away until a new voice comes from in front of you.
“Hey, Y/N right?” Ellie glances up for a split second before going back to looking uninterested in the boy trying to start conversation with you.
“Yep,” you answer plainly as you look at him. You recognized him in a blurry sort of way. His name started with an L… Lucas.. Leo.. La-
“Im Liam, from the last party,” he explains before you finish your train of thought. “Right, Liam.”
Liam bounces a bit on his heels, which embarrasses you. You fight the urge to curl your lip at the sight. “I was wondering if you wanted to go chill with a few of my friends and girls from your sorority upstairs? We’re gonna smoke and play games like seven minutes in heaven.”
Beside you it feels like someone has stiffened, but you ignore it. You let your face drop to look even more uninterested. “Seven minutes in heaven? Really? What are we? Fifteen?”
Liam flushes, clearing his throat to talk again. You just shake your head to stop him. “I don't smoke either so no thank you, Liam. Im good.”
The boy slumps a little. “Right. Maybe next time,” and then he turns on his heel and walks off.. looking like a dog with its tail between their legs.
Ellie chuckles, making that fire come back to your belly. You turn quickly— eyeing her. “What's funny, Williams?”
“He totally wanted to fuck you,” Ellie shrugs, watching until Liam disappears up the stairs.
You try to ignore the heat creeping up your neck, picking at your painted nails to keep the blush from reaching your cheeks. “Fuck off.”
“Trust me, I know these guys. Every party one of them tries to get in your pants, and you turn them down every single time.”
Ellie looks smug as she says it— and you want to wipe the look off her fucking face. Acting like she knew something, like she could tell you more about what was happening than you could.
“You don’t know shit Ellie,” you argue, unable to bite back the slightly misplaced anger anymore, leaning forward. “Why do you even care? Are you obsessed with me or something? Not everyone wants to fuck everything that walks.”
The words have a bite to them, bitter on your tongue. Your chest’s rise and fall is speeding up as you finish speaking. You watch as Ellie’s eyes get darker in the light, the flashing lights stop into a solid red as some song with the color name begins.
“And why do you care who I fuck? hm? Maybe you do need to get laid by one of those guy’s falling all over you. Might make you a little less of a strung up bitch,” Ellie’s voice is harder now, aiming to displease you more so than before.
It works, the flame in you spilling over to a whole fucking house fire at the comment. Your hand instinctively grips your cup, reaches forward and dumps it all over Ellie’s chest.
Silence follows, and you immediately regret it.. knowing you took it too far. This quiet is uncomfortable enough to make you squirm, pressing further away from the wet patch growing on the cushion. Ellie looks at her shirt, very slowly raising her head to look dead at you.
“Get up.” It's not a question when she says it, harsher tone than she had ever used with you.
For once, you don’t immediately bite back. “Wha-“
“Get up. You just fucking dumped your drink on me, you can help me fix it,” Ellie demands again. She puts out the joint on the table nearby, messy enough to make you cringe.
You can't tell how red her face is because of the lights.. but you are sure she is fuming. The way she is stiff and slow with her movements to stand a clue enough.
That’s why you don't fight to scramble to your feet after her when she starts walking. Your fingers grip at the sweatshirt under you, holding it in your hand as she pushes past people to get to a room nearby. You follow quickly behind— watching curious eyes follow you chasing after the other. The red lights hide the growing blush on your cheeks, the music pounding in tandem with your heart.
When she pushes open a door, you squeeze in quickly after her.
Ellie’s tattooed arm reaches to the side of you where the doorknob is, and her fingers move to lock it. You swallow at the proximity, ducking away quickly.
She doesn’t speak as she peels the now wet shirt from her frame— throwing it on the floor near the bed. Your eyes don't look away as she does so. In fact, you can’t tear them away.
Her body is toned, more so than you would have expected. Not that you thought of her shirtless before or anything. Her fingers ghost gently over her own skin, wiping any extra wetness. Your pupils follow the way the digits move.
What doesn’t surprise you however, is the sports bra that lays beneath the shirt. It's snug against her skin, and you watch as she tugs it back into the right place. You watch her breathe, heavy and unsteady, a clear sign she is not exactly calm at the moment.
“You are such a fucking brat, you know that?” Her blazing eyes meet your own— and you almost shrink. This Ellie.. She was different. You are no longer burning with the anger her face usually ignites in you. No, this fire is all different.
“Oh cat got your tongue now, princess? for once you don't have a stuck up comment to make hm?” She steps closer to you, looking down to where her sweatshirt hangs from your fingertips.
“Put my sweatshirt back on me.”
The words make your mouth go slack, finally mustering up the courage to speak. “Fuck off, Ellie.”
“Im serious,” her hair is more messy now, strands falling in front of her face as she stares at you. “You made me take it off for you, so now you can put it back on me. Fair is fair, princess.”
“You can’t be serious,” you scoff, shaking your head at the suggestion.
“You do it or I go out there, tell the frat hosting that you’re a crazy bitch who spilt her drink on me. You and your sorority sisters would get blacklisted from every party before those pretty eyelashes could even blink.”
It's a threat. A threat to your power, the social standing within your group and the general university. A threat to your ego as a whole, the thought you would be the cause of something like that. It also was a quick reminder that no matter what you said to her at these parties, she was the one with the power. You could insult and poke at her all you wanted.. but Ellie was the one with half of the people out in that room down the hallway wrapped around her finger. Her.. business determined that.
You purse your lips, meeting the green eyes staring at you again. It's another fight for power. Seeing who will crack under the tension first. You find yourself noticing the freckles that dust her face again, and a small red mark on her cheek you had not really paid attention to before. Your heart hammers against your ribcage, and you look away in defeat.
Ellie knows she won, stepping even closer to you, enough that you can feel the heat radiating off of her. It does something to you that you wouldn’t like to admit, your knees going ever so slightly weak. She pushes a fallen strand of auburn hair back behind her ear while waiting for your next move.
It comes a second later, shuffling the sweatshirt in your hand to the right position, leaning forward to push the hoodie part over Ellie’s head, fingers shaking when they brush against her bare shoulder. You can't admit to yourself that it isn’t because of some annoyance that you were reacting like this. She helps a bit when you drag the sweatshirt down her chest by pushing her arms through the sleeves.
When it's finished, you both linger for a moment, your nails still near her waistline. It only ends when she steps back, gaze still set on you.
“You gonna say sorry?” she asks, eyebrow raising expectantly.
You shake your head. “Fuck. Off.”
Ellie tsks, watching your every movement. She didn’t ignore how your eyes had been all over her tonight, how you couldn’t look away when her shirt was off. And god, what would be a better way to win whatever this was than taking what she wanted from you.
“Cmon, you know I was right about what I said,” she steps around you and then forward, smiling as you continue to back away everytime she gets closer. when the back of your leg hits the bed, you stop. “You do need to get fucked, might make you a little less miserable to be around.”
Her voice has fallen more quiet, a little something new to the way she spoke.
“But you don’t want one of those dicks outside to do it, do you?” it's accusatory when it's said, enough to make you realize where this conversation was going.
God, you would never admit it out loud. not even to yourself. Everytime you avoided a guy’s advance to instead bicker with Ellie all night. The times you insulted her about something because it made you warm all over, like a certain hairstyle or shirt. You blamed her a lot for annoying you, for those jokes she makes— for how she bothers you. But in honesty, you just hated that you couldn’t look away. Not from her face, her hands, the way she smokes, or spreads her legs open when she sits. It’s absolutely infuriating how much you think of her. But you had always kept it deep enough to not think about it until she brought it up herself.
“No, that's why you always turn them down.. why you always look at me after you do. God, you don't even realize it do you?” A shocked sort of chuckle escaped her lips, like she couldn’t believe this realization either. Her finger moves to a strand of your hair that must have fallen while you chased after her.
“You want me. You want me to fuck you, don’t you princess? That's why you are always such a little priss, isn't it. Get you so hot and bothered you just can't help but be mean?”
When you don't answer, Ellie reaches forward quickly to grab your wrist, gaining your attention. “Answer me.”
“No- I don’t fucking want you Ellie,” you choke it out, like it burned your throat to say. It was worse than a shot of whatever they had outside this door.
“If you don’t want me, then walk away right now. But this is your only chance. No more after this. You can't get one of those asshole frat guys instead. No more entertaining the little arguments you start. No more ignoring when you stare at m-“
You can't even let her finish her words before you crash forward, meeting her lips in an immediately messy kiss. She swears against your lips before dropping your wrist, arms instead moving to your hips, pressing you flush against her body. You want to pull away, regain the control you so desperately cling to— want to run off and out of the party.
But once the kiss deepens, once her tongue swipes against your lips.. you’re a goner.
You whimper when she bites your bottom lip harshly, and she swallows the sound with another burning kiss. You pull her to fall back onto the bed with you, and she immediately manhandles you further onto the bed, taking position over you and not apologizing when your head slams roughly into the headboard.
“Asshole,” you whine, she digs her fingers into your hip to shut you up as her teeth drag down to your neck, wet kisses and small bites pressing there until she finds the spot that makes you shiver, hand slapping against her arm, pretty nails pressing into the skin.
She bites harder, pulling a louder yell from you. She then sucks over the spot, soothing it with another swipe of her tongue. The throbbing feeling will no doubt result in a mark— and Ellie seems to know exactly that.
“Everyone’s gonna know,” she mumbles against your skin as she sucks another spot, controlling your hips with one hand when they try to buck up.
“All those other girls are gonna know when you wake up with these littered all over your neck tomorrow-“ another bite. “Gonna know what happened, what the perfect little sorority girl did with me.”
The comment draws another noise from you, and the heat pools between your legs, embarrassingly turned on by the thought of that humiliation sure to follow walking out of this room later. You can feel your panties going damp when she doesn’t let up the assault on your neck and collarbone.
You can smell the weed on her when her head dips closer to you again, and for once you don’t mind it. You meet her lips, shaky hand still gripping at the inked skin of her arm.
She's so controlled in her movements, enjoying how you are already a squirmy mess, enjoying how she has control. It's nothing like the Ellie she was in public, loud and joking. No, she was completely serious and calculated with every single swipe of her finger, every movement of her lips. One hand roughly goes to your chest, pushing up your shirt above your breasts, not bothering to even do the kindness of taking it off all the way.
“Mm, no bra?” Ellie questions mockingly, pulling back from your wet lips— acting like she hadn’t noticed the lack of one the moment you turned to face her at this damn party.
You shake your head, reduced to little words.
Ellie watches you carefully, at your puffy lips, at the way your perfect hair is now falling in chunks against the pillow. God, what a sight. You, untouchable and pristine.. reduced to being fucked on a stranger’s bed in a frat house. By her.
“Want me to touch you here?” she questions, fingers ghosting over your nipples.. smiling when they pebble at the softest touch. Your back arches, searching for more skin to skin as you nod quickly.
“Nuh Uh- words, princess, need you to say it.”
You glance at her, one side of you fighting against this feeling of submission you can feel yourself falling into. In an act of defiance, your hand comes up and over her larger one, pressing it down against the skin of your breast, breathing out a moan instead of answering her question.
This however was a bad idea, and she immediately pulls completely back, quick to grab your face harshly between her palm. “You fucking brat,” Ellie seeths, your lips pressing open just slightly at how hard she is pressing her hand. The roughness only makes you wetter, and you attempt to squeeze your thighs together for some sort of friction.. but Ellie is faster, slotting a knee in between your legs as she looks down at you, free arm holding herself up.
“No, you don’t get anything from me, no relief for that throbbing feeling you have im sure,” she says it so cockily that you think you may melt into the sheets beneath you. “Not till you admit you want me. Admit you want me to touch you.”
Your face burns a bright red, angry and embarrassed at the same time. You tried to avoid this admittance, ready to die on the hill to protect your already bruised ego.
But then Ellie moves her knee slightly, a shock goes straight through your core. Even the smallest movement had you trying to push down against her needily. She squeezes your face harder. “Just say it, I can make you feel so much better if you just admit it.”
The line your dignity was tiptoeing on is fraying, taken over by the bowling ball amount of weight from the desire in your stomach. The second her knee moves again, the string breaks.
“Please,” you beg, watching as Ellie’s eyes light up at the words, “Ellie I want you to touch me.”
Ellie smiles, reveling in how embarrassed you look. “Where baby?”
You suck in a breath, too far gone to keep fighting, “my pussy, please, please Ellie.. need you to.”
You’re squirming all over now, whining and feeling your throat tighten. Your lip gloss is all over your (and Ellie’s for that matter) chin, and your shirt is still just pushed over your chest. It makes Ellie shake her head. “God, you look pathetic. What happened to you hm? Where’s that put together girl you love to brag about being?”
Any words to snap back die in your throat, her mean tone is making your mind too foggy. The way you are totally at the mercy of her body, of the way she talks to you.. It’s addicting. The feeling of letting go of that control and power you hold so tightly onto.. It's almost as good as the sensation of her knee starting to move more regularly against your center.
“You look like a whore,” she laughed meanly. You are sure it’s true, your skirt is falling down, your hair has snapped out of its tie. Her hand lets go of your chin, and you move your mouth slightly at the soreness. The freedom is short- lived however, and two fingers are tapping your cheek soon after.
“Open,” Ellie says, smiling when you do so immediately. “See, it's not hard to be a good girl.”
She sinks the two fingers into your waiting mouth, one quick demand to, “Suck,” is all you need to close your mouth around them.
You aren’t careful about it, drool seeping out the corner of your mouth when she starts thrusting the fingers in and out slightly, watching in amusement as she curls her long fingers slightly, making you gag. “So fucking messy,” she mumbles.
Her pupils are just as blown out as yours when she speaks again, pulling her fingers out after deeming they were wet enough. A line of spit follows, connecting to your lips.
She wipes the excess across your face, furthering that deep embarrassment that builds in you. “‘m gonna fuck you now, princess.”
She says it as she makes you sit up with her on the bed, arm pulling to set you up how she wanted, knees tucked under your thighs on each side of her lap. You let her push and tug you around— fully dumbed out for her at this point. Desperate for some relief.
her fingers play with your skirt for a moment, and you both watch intently as they disappear under it. You push into her, earning a quick look. “Be good,” the girl demands.
You stop your movements, mumbling something Ellie can't understand. The pad of her finger slides over your clothed slit— humming at the wet feeling.
“You’re fucking soaked,” she shook her head, “All from what? Cause I was mean to you? Just from my knee, baby? How pathetic.”
Another whine rips from your throat, head falling to her shoulder. She shrugs it to force your head up again. “Want ya to look at me while I do this,” she explains— green eyes now mostly black as they meet your own. You nod, trying to please her enough for the next move.
“Atta girl..” she praises.
Your panties are pushed to the side as she sinks a singular finger into you— both of you moaning at the feeling. You’re so warm and tight around her that she gets dizzy, a warmth pooling in between her own legs. But tonight, It was about you. It was about proving who had the control here.. who could make you feel so good.
“Fuck,” you blubber, not getting a chance to savor the feeling before shes moving it in and out quickly, and then she is adding another finger.. and a minute after that, another. It's stretching you so well, so perfectly that you swear you could come right there. But you don’t, eyes set on her own— a hard look on her face as she watches your reactions. She leans closer, wanting to hear every little breath, every whimper.
“What would they think, hm?” Ellie huffs, pressing further into you. “All those frat boys who eye you up at every party,” she adds with a particularly hard thrust. “What do you think they would say if they found out it was me you got up that pretty little skirt first?” She whispers against your ear. Each word is emphasized with a press of her fingers, each rougher.. deeper, than the last.
You can feel your cheeks burning, and you blink away the tears welling in your eyes. You can't help the reaction— it's too much. She’s too much. The feeling is stealing all coherent words and thoughts from your mind— making you a teary and whining mess.
It made a fire flick in Ellie’s lower stomach— knowing she was the cause of pristine, pretty, perfect you— looking so messy. So fucked out. All from just her fingers. From her words.
“Too dumb to answer?” she teases, “too drunk on my fingers to even say anything?”
You shake your head like it isn’t true, and she slows her hand. You shake, trying to thrust yourself down onto them.
“Tell me then princess, tell me none of them could fuck you like this. No one could get you this fucking pathetic other than me.”
Fat tears are rolling down your cheeks now, lip quivering as you search for more friction. “Please, please el,” you cry, “No one else no one else, just you-“
All of your words slur together, and your nails dig into Ellie’s shoulder enough to make her hiss. The answer seems good enough, and she resumes her quick and harsh movements, fingers curling to hit that spot that made your mouth fall open, tears dripping past your lips.
“Fuck yea, only me,” she groans, your words pushing her to make you come even more now, thumb rubbing against your clit. It coaxes downright pornographic noises from you. Ones that someone had to have heard. You don’t give a fuck though, not right now.
“M’ gonna come,” you whine, face falling to Ellie’s shoulder again, pressing your nose into the crook of her neck. This time Ellie allows it— too focused on the wet sounds of her fingers moving in and out of you under the now ruined skirt.
“Alright baby, you can come,” Ellie coos— finally showing a bit of kindness to you as you clench around her fingers. “Come for me, princess.”
The cord in your stomach snaps, and you have to bite at Ellie’s neck to stop from screaming. The orgasm hits you like a fucking train, shaking harshly.
Ellie works you through it, mumbling compliments against you. “So pretty, so messy and perfect for me,” she hums. When she is sure you have calmed down enough, she slowly pulls her fingers out, and then lays you back against the bed. You sink into the mattress, cheeks red and wet with tears. She admires you, messy fingers pressing to her own lips to get a taste. The flavor of you, god Ellie thinks she may be addicted. She sucks her fingers clean and for a moment debates ringing another orgasm out of you with her tongue. But the look on your face, how tired you look.. she decides to save it for another time.
For now she stands, searching around until she finds the attached bathroom, disappearing into it.
Your eyes search for her, feeling needy. “El-“ you whimper.
“I'm just getting a rag to clean you up baby,” she explains from the open door— and you relax when she walks back out with a warm small rag.
She joined you back on the bed, coaxing your legs open as she very carefully cleans you off. The friction makes more tears drop from your eyes.
“Aw princess,” she pouts— wiping with her other hand to get the tears off of your cheek and drool off your chin. “So pathetic looking.. so pretty.”
The switch between praise and degradation makes you dizzy again, eyes closing for a second.
When shes done cleaning you up, you grab her wrist when she tries to stand. “ w’nna make you feel good el,” you beg. It takes Ellie a moment to match your whiny voice to that of the girl she knew outside of this bedroom, but when she comes back to reality— she shakes her head.
“Later baby, promise. You’re too tired, wanna get you back to your place.”
The promise to not just abandon after this makes your heart twist in your chest, that cold front that Ellie put on while fucking you straying away now.
You nod, letting Ellie help you sit up.
“Ready to walk through that door?” she asks, quirking an eyebrow.
A tired laugh bubbles in your throat just at the thought, cheeks hot all over again.
“Yea. Yea, I’ll just say we got into a fist fight.”
“Fucking brat.”

Hobie wakes up with his right arm aching, he groans from the weight slightly crushing his arm– wait what?
He opens his half asleep eyes with a confused look. Hobie cranes his neck down, he finally sees who the intruder is.
Hobie smiles to himself, Fully waking up, he remembers that he invited you over. He stares at your form, memorizing every bit of detail from how you clutched his jumper with a grip, your lips slightly parted as you exhale, the early morning sun shines at your back, bathing your form in a heavenly glow. Hobie moves you closer to him, as to not let the rays hit your face and disturb your peace.
He tries to move you both farther away from the edge of the bed, but he finds that your legs are intertwined with his, preventing him from moving.
He huffs, a lopsided smile on his lips. Hobie ghosts his thumb over your cheeks, the pattern from the knitted blanket leaves a mark on your skin. A sign that you've slept well, and in his arms no doubt. His forgotten comforter kicked to the foot of the bed.
He gets a whiff of your coconut shampoo, surely leaving its scent on his pillow.
He thinks about buying a proper toothbrush holder, so he could place his and yours together.
He really should invite you more.
Hobie's spidey senses wake him up from his daze– he clutches you closer to his body, carefully cradling your head. A wave from a moving boat rushes towards the houseboat, rocking it harshly. His busted alarm clock drops to the floor in a crash.
Hobie hisses as he sees you twitch. He curses whoever was in that boat.
"Ughh" you groan out, muffled against Hobie's chest. You grip his jumper tighter.
"Shit" his voice deeper than usual, you release his jumper and instead hug his torso. The waves get calmer, rocking you both softly.
"You alright?" He rubs your back just in case you feel sick.
You pop your head away from Hobie's chest, chin resting on his scratchy jumper, you tickle him a bit, but he won't tell you that of course. You open one eye to stare at him, yawning.
"Say that again?" You ask with a tilt of your head.
"Are you alright?" He hides his laugh by clearing his throat.
"Hmm" you grin "I like your morning voice"
He chuckles deeply, knowing what it does to you.
"Oh, you did that on purpose, you dork" you softly say.
"Yeah, bet it got you all hot and bothered for it too, huh" Hobie pokes your sides teasingly.
"Don't start" you swat away his hand, noticing his teasing mood this morning, you anticipate his tickling.
"You look pretty in the morning, you didn't wake up early and clean yourself up secretly, right?" He knows you didn't, sleep still sticking on your eyes, your hair looking disheveled.
"Nope, it's au naturel" you quip back. It earns a deep chuckle from Hobie.
He carefully rubs off the gunk from the corner of your eye, you sigh into his touch.
"You like my morning breath too?" He tries to blow air downwards but you're ready, you clasp your hand over his mouth, stopping his teasing.
You laugh victorious, that is until he licks your hand, recoiling your hand away, he laughs loudly.
"Hobie! That's it, I'm not making you breakfast"
"Alright, alright, I'll stop. For now" he grabs the back of your head pushing you back to his chest.
You move to the crooked of his neck instead, in case you're crushing him. You slyly wipe his drool from your hand on his jumper.
"I saw that" Hobie peeks downward.
"No, you didn't"
"This is vintage y'know"
"It's your own drool!" You laugh.
"Yeah! And you slobbered all over it while you used me as your personal pillow" he rubs the exposed skin on your waist, cupping the softness fondly.
"I don't slobber!" You grab his jaw downwards so you could look eye to eye.
"Tell that to my soaked jumper" he whispers, his eyes flickering down to your lips. Your heart skips a beat.
Knowing what he's gonna do next, you cover his lips over your hand, "let me brush my teeth first"
You push away from Hobie, your torso barely off the bed, he grabs you by the waist, pulling you back down. You gasp out.
"Nope" in one swift movement Hobie cups your cheek guiding you towards his lips, your lips crash against each other, you cringe when your forehead hits his a bit too loudly. Insecurity fills you when you remember that you still have morning breath.
He doesn't care though, instead he pokes your sides, making you gasp parting your lips, making him kiss you deeper.
You pull away breathlessly when you hear a rumbling noise underneath you.
"Ah, fuck" Hobie facepalms in embarrassment.
Hobie's stomach grumbles again, mocking him.
You grab his hand, peeking in "aww, my poor baby is hungry" you mockingly coo. "I'll make you breakfast, sunny side up right?" You push off him, finally noticing you're on the wrong side of the bed.
"Yes, please, love" he exhales out the embarrassment.
"How'd I end up on this side?" You point out.
"Huh, I probably dragged you with me"
You imagine what it might've looked like, you fluster. Even asleep he wants you near, you look at him adoringly, swiping away the sheen on his lips before leaving a kiss for good measure.
You leave for the bathroom, he stares at the door you entered in, a lovestruck expression on his face. Once he knows you're decent, he flips away the covers, following towards the sound of the faucet squeak open.
Hobie knocks, you hum while brushing your teeth. He opens the door, then leans against it, his arms relaxed on his sides, his sweatpants hang low on his hips.
He admires you bathe in white fluorescent light, his shirt on your form hanging loose on you. You looked out of place but at the same time fitting right in his tiny bathroom.
He thought you looked like you came out of an oil painting.
"You need to use the bathroom?" You ask as you place your toothbrush down.
"You should leave it"
"Leave what?"
"Your toothbrush, for next time" Hobie crosses his arms, a sudden shyness floods him.
"Of course" you smile, already getting what he's trying to say, "I was already planning on leaving it" you come forward, leaving a minty kiss on his cheek. "Your turn stinky" you pat his bum with a smack.
Hobie hears your laughter echo around the houseboat.
-
After washing up, Hobie opens the bathroom door, the smell of eggs and his favourite tea covers his senses. He chuckles to himself.
He could get used to this.
Hobie enters his modest kitchen, you hum along to the music from the radio, the inside of his houseboat looks a bit different than before, there's more light shining inside, fresh air wafts through the open windows, it seems that there's more life in his home.
He moves towards you, hugging you from behind. You giggle at the contact. He looks over your shoulder, he watches as you expertly flip the pancake over.
"Hello to you too" you crane your neck to look at him "I opened the windows, it's too nice outside. Hope you don't mind"
"I don't mind, we need the fresh air" he snuggles deeper on the crook of your neck. "Where'd you get pancake mix? I know that I don't have any"
"Ah, I brought it with me" you side glance at him, gauging his reaction.
"So, you were planning on making breakfast for me, hmm?"
"I did bring it, but it doesn't mean I was planning on cooking it myself" you turn off the stove, he turns you around, crowding you in between him and the stove.
"So you're making me breakfast out of the goodness of heart then?" He holds onto your hips.
"Yes, you're making the next one by the way"
"You're a cheeky one, aren't you?" He leans towards you, his lips ghosting over yours, but before sealing the deal, he grabs his mug behind you. He sips from it loudly, making eye contact over the mug.
You roll your eyes, trying to hide your disappointment. "You're a menace" you give him a plate of eggs, sunny side up just like how he requested it. "Make yourself useful, and set the table"
Hobie sees his kitchen counter slash dining table, that's not gonna cut it out for you. He looks out of the window, the rare sun shining over the river, fluffy white clouds blanket the sky.
It's a beautiful morning, a shame to waste it.
He pushes the door open, leading to his 'porch'
"Where are you going?" You ask curiously.
"You'll see" Hobie peeks back inside, a smirk on his face.
You shake your head at his shenanigans, you wonder what he's planning.
The water looks calm, the cold morning air nips at his skin, his jumper barely protecting him from the cold. Hobie sees the metal table wet with morning dew, that won't do, so he grabs a nearby cloth to wipe it dry, he carefully puts down the plate of eggs and his tea, to wipe at the mismatched chairs.
Hobie wipes the wooden chair more thoroughly, since the metal one looks more worn down, he's concerned you might poke yourself on it.
He looks at his handiwork, there seems to be something missing, Hobie roams his eyes around the boat, his eyes stop at an empty beer bottle, he places it in the middle of the table acting as a centerpiece.
Then he perches himself near the edge of his boat to pick a single daisy from a neighbouring houseboat's flower pot; he's sure they wouldn't notice one missing. Hobie gingerly puts the small flower inside the bottle.
You open the door with your foot a little too loudly, you squint at the harsh sound. Hobie quickly moves to help you carry out the plates and mug.
"Thanks, Hobie," you grin, your smile gets wider when you see his little set up. The little daisy swaying in the air. "Oh, handsome" you gasp out.
You're finished, your eyes slightly glazing over.
Hobie chuckles at his new nickname, he moves the wooden chair for you to sit, hands on its back, like a gentleman.
" C'mon then, stop gawking, I'm starving" he stares at your dumbstruck face, the cold air leaving goosebumps on your arms.
You sit down, smiling, forgetting the cold air.
"Do you want me to grab a jacket?" He asks as he rubs your arms from behind.
You grab his wrist, you bracelet around it with your fingers, "no, stay, I'm okay" you sniff, revealing your lie.
"Nah, I'm not letting you freeze to death, let me grab it real quick, alright?" Hobie runs inside, eager to come back to you.
Oh, he's absolutely whipped for you, no doubt about it.
You revel in the sun shining on you, closing your eyes, you inhale sharply. Hobie sees you like this, his breath hitches in his throat. You must look heavenly, a slight breeze makes your eyelashes flutter. Opening your eyes, you notice eyes on you, you smile at him.
He's done for.
Waking up from his stupor, he wraps the dark hoodie on your head. A feeble attempt to hide the effect you have on him
"And here I thought you were being sweet on me" you tease him, knowing that he actually is soft for you.
"I've got a reputation, y'know" he sits down with a metal creak.
Hobie notices that you're sitting a little bit too far for his taste. "What are you doing there? C'mere" he grabs your chair, pulling it towards him, the wooden legs scraping against the metal of the boat.
You laugh, despite the harsh sound coming from the scraping.
"There, much better?" He leans on the arms of his chair.
You nod, a permanent smile on your face "much better" you kiss his cheek, your cold lips a contrast to his warm skin, it melts into his skin, etching in like a tattoo.
You intertwine your arm around his, speaking softly, as to not disturb your little peaceful bubble around the both of you, " y'know I thought you would be grumpier in the morning"
"Why's that?" He leans closer.
"I don't know, you seem like the type" you whisper against his lips, "you're a night owl, so I thought you would hate waking up this early"
"Only if I don't sleep well" heat rises in your cheeks at his implication, "Lucky for me I've got my very own koala latching on to me last night"
You raise your eyebrow "Really a koala, that's the best you can do, Hobart?"
"You always resort to calling me by my government name whenever you're flustered, koala works, lovey" he cups your jaw, his thumb brushes past your lips. You close your eyes, leaning in.
Before your lips could meet, you hear a gurgling sound.
You pull away, laughing loudly. Hobie lets out a small goddamnit.
"We should eat, before your stomach starts eating you from the inside" you say in between laughs.
"Yeah, yeah" he grumpily grabs his spoon.
You hide your smile behind your mug.

Hi, my dog is really sick and he has a huge tumor, I’m going to have to put him down soon and it really sucks, your writing makes life a bit better though so thank you for that! Could I possibly request a Vox x reader with a pet dog? Like how would the two of them interact or would he claim himself as the dogs parent or stuff like that. You don’t have to of course! Please remember to take breaks
Vox X Reader [Comfort]
In which you take in a dog you found on the street without asking Vox beforehand.
Tumblr media
Vox isn't necessarily minimalist, but he is certainly a bit of a neat freak
Things should be organized, clean, not perfect! But not messy
So, animals were never his thing
I mean, the hair, the training, the scratchy nails on the floor, it just sounds like a huge hassle
Besides, he is already busy enough with the company and you, a pet would just be another thing on the list
You, on the other hand, love caring for sick animals
You've brought a smaller creature home before for the evening or taken it to a vet, but nothing for longer than a few hours
But this time was different
The dog was so messy you couldn't even tell the breed, all you knew was that someone had hurt it and it wouldn't last long on its own
So you snuck the puppy into your jacket and headed straight home
Vox comes home to the shower running and you giggling, and he's already worried about whatever strange thing you're onto this time
He sees you, splashed in soap and water, and a dog with muddied water dripping off it into the drain
And it barks at him
And he screams
Right. He is super scared of dogs and hellhounds
Not in a 'these things are scary' way, but in a 'these things are unpredictable and gross and ew.'
When you finish washing the dog and drying it the best you could in a swaddled towel, you'll find him pacing and murmuring
He is frustrated you brought that THING home without asking, but he also wont suggest you abandon it because he knows you won't
Gets a servant to grab some necessities for the dog, because lord knows you didn't plan this out
Just for a few days, right?
Except, a few days turns into a few weeks and into a few months
And slowly your tiny puppy grows into a 100-pound pride dobermann, known for being some of hells largest and most vicious dogs
Despite his size, Vox has already adopted the thing into his life, he stopped asking when you were going to give up the dog on day 15,
Part of the reason he loves it is because of how dangerous the dog looks, as sweet as it actually is, it's very protective of you and he likes that
Originally does not let you out on your own, but now its 'you can go if the dogs with you' because by good fuck that thing could kill a crowd
Expect him to dip into the pet market of devices; tracking collar, pet surveillance, automatic feeding bowls, etc...
All inspired by his want to give your dog a luxurious life
Probably got a custom collar with glowing blue spikes so he and the pup match
Would actually take a few days off work and sit in an armchair with his hands on his head if the dog ever had an emergency trip to the vet
Tumblr media
Author's Note - I saw your second ask, and its totally cool you sent this! Honestly, I always wanted to open emergency requests. Theres no shame in looking for comfort, I can't imagine your pain right no. I hope this helps in any way!

if you felt comfortable would you write the KBU au with steve and reader during/just after the birth of avery? 🥺
kisses before dinner —you and steve have a baby. mom!reader, 1.1k
Just like that, Steve's a dad.
He wonders if he's supposed to feel different, and he does in little ways. Exhausted, worried, and unbearably happy —the kind of happiness to make your ribs hurt— Steve is feeling a hundred layers of emotion right now, but it isn't his emotion that takes centre stage, it's yours.
You've been stiff with panic since your contractions started, and while that panic turned to happy tears the moment they laid her on your chest, you're looking at the baby like you're terrified of her, stiffness returned. Genuine fear.
"Come on," he says softly, leaning down to kiss your forehead. "She's not half as ugly as we worried."
She's beautiful. Steve's legs hurt after all these hours of standing by your side, and he can't bear to look away from the baby's face, her face, and it doesn't matter. You're his priority. He juggles these two things as he assumes he'll be juggling them for the rest of his life, happily if clumsily.
"Please smile, honey," he says.
You relax almost imperceptibly with his murmuring. "I am smiling."
"You're grimacing. Ten dollar word." He crouches and steps back enough for you to see his face clearly. "Are you happy? Like, truthfully?" he asks, knowing 'truthfully' isn't a word he says. Accusing the new mother of his child of lying feels a bit dick-ish, though.
"Of course I'm happy."
"It's okay if you're not happy. I'm not happy if you're not happy, I'm–"
"Steve." Your smile is sad in a way, but your eyes aren't half as scared as they were. "I am happy, I'm just worried. No more trial run… I'm a mom."
"You're a mom." He doesn't mean to say it with the world's cheesiest smile. "I didn't know they made 'em like you, I would've started chasing moms years ago."
You laugh. He's always loved your laugh because it's yours, and it couldn't come at a better time, not even when you were pushing. None of them sounded as happy as this one. "I'm a mom," you say, still laughing.
"I know." He leans in to dash a kiss against your cheek. You perk up at the attention, so he does it twice more.
“This is gonna be so fun,” you say.
His heart rears to explode. Steve puts one hand on yours under the weight of the baby and the other behind your shoulder. “Just don't let me drop her,” you say.
“My hand’s already there.”
“Okay. I love you. Are you sure?”
“Don't freak out.” He thinks so many things in that moment but the loudest is, aw, my girl. “You're good, babe, I love you. This is gonna be fun, just like you said. We're gonna love it.”
Steve sits on the side of the bed and holds you like that for a while. You relax at the support and watch the baby's little face in sleep. She has the most dainty face Steve has ever seen in person. She's so, so small. He kinda thought she'd be bigger considering the whole nine month gestation period and all your aches and pains, but she's perfect. He could fit her in two hands.
“Avery,” you say.
You picked it out together ages ago. Seeing her now cements it. “Avery,” he repeats happily, failing to resist the urge to touch her face again.
You need time to recover and thankfully, the nurses and doctors haven't rushed the process. You're clean but in pain, and Steve gets to hold the baby by himself while you change.
“Can I help?” he asks, watching you wince. You barely want to stand.
“No, just hold her.”
“She won't break if we put her down. She's safer in the bassinet anyways,” he says.
Your eyes spark with panic as he goes to stand, so he sits, and he chews his cheek raw while you struggle into fresh clothes.
A knock on the door startles you both. “Hello? Y/N? Steve?” Robin's scratchy voice echoes through the door. Her excitement is unmissable.
“Yeah, Rob!”
She opens the door carefully but enters the room less so. There's so much stuff hanging from the crooks of her elbows she can hardly carry it. “Hey! Oh my god, hey! Is that her? Of course it's her. Is she okay? She's okay, are you okay?” She turns her gaze on you. “Holy shit, do you need help?”
You've only got a couple of buttons to do and the waistband of your pants to cinch, but Robin immediately drops all of her things to help you finish.
Steve shares his first private smile with his very first daughter. “She's not always like this,” he murmurs.
“How are you feeling?” Robin asks. She sounds treacherously concerned and overwhelmingly happy.
“Maybe she is,” he adds.
“I'm okay, Robin,” you say, reaching for her hand. “It hurts worse than people say. But it's over now.”
“Thank Jesus!” Robin finishes her buttoning and ties a deft bow with your drawstrings. “Come on, mom, let's get you back to bed. Jesus, Steve, you couldn't have helped her?” She's mostly kidding.
Steve lifts Avery. “She put me on baby duty.”
Robin almost trips over her bags trying to get to him. “Steve,” she says, as though this one word should be enough for him, planting herself by his side. It's been a long time since he bothered trying to put boundaries between them, he doesn't even want them, he's proud as he can be as he lowers the baby to give his best friend ample view of her. While she looks, he lifts his gaze to you where you limp back to the bed.
“Oh,” he says, “Rob, are you ready to hold her? Meet your niece. Arms out.”
Robin stammers but holds her arms out. Steve transfers Avery in her swaddle carefully as careful can be. “Hold her head, okay? Lean back.”
“Wait, you made this look easy. Steve–”
Your eyes are wide as he stands and turns away from the bed. “Steve,” you say.
“No more saying my name in this room, it's banned,” he says, putting his hands under your arms to make sure you're steady where you stand. You stop walking, pain in the line of your mouth. “Come on, honey. Let's get you back to bed.”
Your eyes shine with tears, but you don't cry. You use his arms to push back up onto the bed and shuffle slowly into position before you put your arms out. He leans in for a hug.
“Oh, Steve,” you say with a laugh, all soft and warm, having found the only exception to his new rule, “I wanted the baby back, honey.”
“I know,” he sighs.

Kinktober Day 23 - CAMBOY with Tomura Shigaraki
Dom!reader x sub!shigaraki
~~~
The start is kinda crappy but then it gets good >:)
As you collapsed on your bed in the LOV hq, you took out your computer, knowing that tonight, Shigaraki would be streaming.
You had stumbled upon his secret streams a couple months ago, and you immediately knew who it was, even though he made sure to wear a mask each time.
And, of course, he had no idea you knew.
Since you had found out, you had made sure to be the main viewer he noticed, making little donations and sometimes, he would let you and a couple other viewers determine when he came.
While you couldn't wait to tease him about it, you had kept everything a secret from him, and you quite enjoyed his videos.
He would stream every Tuesday night, and you always got excited for those times, against your better judgement.
Today, as it started and he came into view, wearing slutty women's lingerie, he looked delectable, and you got yourself comfy to watch him.
Some days he would ride a dildo, somedays he would use vibrators, but today, he didn't have anything.
After a moment, his scratchy voice piped up. "Today, I'll let you guys decide what I should do. Any suggestions?"
As people started writing furiously in the chat with requests for pegging, or overstimulation with vibrators, you sent your specific request with a donation.
Hump a pillow for me, pretty boy.
You knew he saw it when he gulped. "I guess I'll be...humping a pillow today."
You almost giggled at how awkward he sounded, but your gaze fixed in when he tentitively grabbed a pillow.
His signature gloved hands pulled the pillow to him, and he slowly straddled it, seemingly hoping someone would make him do something else instead.
But everyone was fixed in, and he faltered for a moment before hesitantly grinding his hips along the soft fabric.
Letting out a soft 'hah', he started picking up the pace, precum already getting onto the pillow and staining the fabric.
Shigaraki seemed frustrated, like he couldn't get the exact pleasure he wanted. As he tried thrusting at different angles, he let out pants, trying desperately to feel good.
Grind nice and deep for me, you're so desperate, aren't you?
He glaced up to see what you wrote, and let out a wanton moan, nodding his head vigorously.
He made sure to thrust deeper, wringing out extra pleasure with each movement.
With the sluttiness of the act and all of the eyes upon him, he got close very soon, and moans and whimpers poured out of him.
"Can I~ please, can I cum?" His desperate voice was making you feel feral, but you wanted to see him suffer more.
Don't cum just yet. We're gonna have some fun with you.
"Fuck, no~please! I've been good, I have to~ hng"
He had to slow down in order to obey, but the despair on his face was clear as he edged himself.
Good boy. Rub those nipples for me, yeah?
"I, ah, I don't~"
He tried to protest, but it was weak, and his hands drifted up.
Hips still roving on the pillow, which had wet patches from all the leaking precum, he twisted his nipples, making them nice and puffy.
Speed up. Put on a good show and I'll let you cum.
He sped up greatly at the thought of cumming, everything was built up in him and he needed to release, but he knew he had to do what you said.
He was groaning, the delicious friction of the pillow was barely the amount he needed, and his hands on his nipples were teasing him as he built himself back up at a snails pace.
He arched his back for you, a little bit of drool slipping out of the mask, and he looked for permission, tears pooling in his eyes.
Cum for me, slut.
With a sharp cry, he let go, spoiling the pillow with his large amount of cum, still thrusting slightly to ride out his orgasm.
Once he had comd down slightly, he chanted 'thank you thank you thank you', and smiled lazily, ending the stream.
After a moment of lying there, he was about to get up to clean himself up when he heard your voice in the hallway.
"Shigarakiiiiii," you sang.
Eyes widening slightly, he focused on making his voice sound normal. "Go away. I'm busy."
You leaned next to the closed door to his room with a smirk on your face. "Yeah, busy being a whore."
Fear shot through him, but he reasoned with himself, it was probably a coincidence, you were probably just guessing. "I don't know what you're talking about."
Bringing your lips to the crack of the door, you made your voice extra playful. "Suuure you don't. Who do you think told you to hump that pillow? Now be a good boy and let me in."
Fuck. Shigaraki was screwed.
♡ just one night? | adam x reader.
A/N : first non-vox smut fic, wow. this request is great 'nonnie, i now need band Adam to fuck me 🤤 I have such a thing for cocky men it hurts.. !MINORS DNI!
Tumblr media
Being the first man, everyone loved Adam. Including you. He was so cool, so handsome, so amazing. It didn't help that he was in a band. He would play gigs in hell all the time, scratchy vocals echoing through the viewers eardrums, fingers skillfully playing his guitar. Oh how you longed to know what else those fingers could do.
"You alright babe?" Adam leaned against the back of the stage his performance was just in. He startled you, and you did end up jumping back in surprise, "Surprised you're talking to the man himself?"
"I guess," You replied anxiously. Your crush, who you thought would never utter a word to you, is now standing at your side.
"You wanna talk somewhere else?"
☆☆˚.꒦﹋ٜ۪ꥇ໋۬ ꒷꒦﹋ٜ۪ꥇ໋۬ ꒷꒦﹋ٜ۪ꥇ໋۬꒷꒦﹋ٜ۪ꥇ໋۬ ꒷꒦﹋ٜ۪ꥇ໋۬ ꒷꒦﹋ٜ۪ꥇ໋۬ ꒷꒦﹋ٜ۪ꥇ໋۬ ☆☆
"Ah, A-Adamm, p-please~!" You moaned as three of his big fingers explored your insides. Your legs were spread wide enough for Adam to watch the sight in front of him.
"Please what?" He grinned. You were in the greenroom where he rested between shows and you guys sure indeed talked.
"You- You know well what I me~ean,"  You weren't going to admit you wanted him to fuck you so easily, not when his fingers were already doing it so well. But you wanted more.
Adam wasn't going to give in so easily. "Hmm? I'm not sure what you're talking about. Use your words." He curled his fingers, making you moan his name again.
"Ugh, please," You sighed, "Please fuck me."
"Am I not doing that already with my fingers? What do you want?" You knew Adam was a bitch, but you weren't expecting him to be this mean.
"Your cock. Want your cock inside of me," You admitted. Adam took his fingers out of you and made a whole show of cleaning them up.
He finally took off his boxers and his erect dick was something to marvel. The other people he's fucked have survived a national disaster. "You happy now? I'm sure you wanted the original dick itself, didn't you?"
"Mhm," you mindlessly responded, too busy thinking of that going inside you.
Adam took your chin with his left hand, his right hand going to your hip as he pushed himself inside you, "You're tight."
Your face turned red at the comment, and then before you knew it, he started bucking his hips back and forth, letting out sweet groans of pleasure, tufts of pubic hair
Adam was making you see stars as he continued to fuck you, his left hand now resting on your stomach. More specifically, the bulge from his dick. Your eyes widened as your eyes went to him, then your stomach, and then back to him, who grinned at you in response.
"Are you close?" He asked as he went to play with your tits. You nodded feverishly. Adam didn't even bother to pull out. He just blew his load inside and tugged on your nipples until you also came.
"I have another gig tomorrow, so I gotta go. We can take a picture before I go & I'll give you an autograph, 'kay?"
"Already? Can't you stay just one night?" You frowned as you opened the camera app and gave Adam your phone.
"Yup. Sorry babe, can't stay any longer," Adam made a duck face and a peace sign. He handed you your phone, your messages app opened. A phone number.
"Bye A-" but he was already gone.
"You have GOT to be kidding me…" You grumbled, huffing a few harsh breaths, and trying again. There was something stuck under the sand, and you really wanted to see if it was worth anything. However, every time you got close to brushing enough sand from the surface to see the logo, a gust of wind would cover it back up again. Adjusting your head covering over your mouth again so you got no sand in your mouth, you also brushed off your goggles of the fine particles sticking to it. You were starting to work up a sweat, the blowing dust and sand mixed with the perspiration and was coating you in a horribly scratchy paste. Whatever was under the sand was big, and that was what you were looking for. However, you really needed to determine the make and model of the crashed ship to determine if it was worth reporting for salvage.
"Finally!" You groaned, getting the metal brushed clean. You quickly snapped a photo with your holo-tracker, the blue paint still relatively solid, enough to identify. The device spun, trying to connect to the extranet and you clicked your tongue as it took for seemingly forever.
"What?!" You swore multiple times when the device flashed, 'no results found'. Maybe you could show it to someone at the Assembly office that would know something. You already had a few pictures and coordinates of a few smaller wrecks you could report, but they probably wouldn't grant very many credits. This thing was huge though, so at least the scrap metal would be worth something. Another blast of wind nearly knocked you over as you stood back up, trying to climb out of the small crater to get back to your rover. The crappy thing about wrecks on Sierra-Vector-Tango, since the entire planet was a desert, is that they were quickly covered by sand; even if they created massive craters when they fell to the surface. However, that meant more money for finding salvage than some other planets. Bad thing? Sand worms. Their saliva got into the particles and could make it acidic, which made digging through the sand more dangerous. This, once again, caused the number of credits to be higher.
"Let’s go back for now." You jerked back with your whole body weight as you pulled the handle for the door of your rover. It finally opened and you huffed, throwing the end of your head scarf aggressively to wrap it around your neck better. Crawling up and into your rover, you rested back in the seat, trying to catch your breath.  Pressing the button to start the vehicle it roared to life and the air conditioning flared to life and you just sat in the cooling air for a few minutes.
"Water!" You gasped dramatically, grabbing your canteen from the passenger seat, and drinking so aggressively the liquid spilled out of your mouth some.
"For fuck's sake…" You groaned hard, the water mixing with the layer of sand on your skin, thickening it.
"I need a real shower, with water." Shifting the gear of the rover, you started to drive back to the main road so you could start heading to the nearest Assembly office. It would be about an hour to Drent, and a little under two for Jaron, but you really didn't like going to Drent. Not only did it have the name of some dude-bro fuck boy, but it was also full of them too. Drent had one of the biggest…adult establishments in that quadrant. Not only did they have sexy blue alien ladies dancing on tables, but it also allowed you to sleep with them. Last time you went you nearly got mugged, and the guy just wanted your underwear. No thank you. Jaron was farther away, but a much nicer place and had a very old-style diner reminiscent of Terra from the 1950s. It was cool to go somewhere that was reminiscent of a time over two-hundred years in the past. Plus, they had a hotel with real water showers instead of the air-blasting kind that was more common. It would be more expensive, but worth it.
"This time I wanna rock with you~" You sang along to the song playing over the speakers, drumming your hands on the steering wheel of your rover as you got back to the main road. Turning right to go north toward Jaron, you set the auto-pilot on and plugged in the town, sitting back to watch the view as your rover drove itself. When you could start to see the sign for the town, you shut the auto-drive off and took control again. Large vehicles like yours weren't allowed in the city proper, so when you reached the entry checkpoint, you pulled off to the side and got out. The sun was setting, nearly below the horizon, stars starting to twinkle in the night sky. Getting out of the rover, you slammed the door as hard as you could to get it to shut and went around to the back. Grabbing your big pack and smaller bag, you also had a make-shift safe that you kept smaller salvage pieces in. You let it fall to the sandy ground with a thud and jumped back out. Keying in the code on the side, the rover beeped as it locked, and you headed to the entry booth.
"How old is your rover?" The kid at the booth was at the most eighteen, and his condescending tone was completely unnecessary.
"Doesn't matter." You tried not to steer, slapping your credit chit on the counter and he slotted it into the console. He really had no room to talk, his setup was just as old if not more so than you rover. Sliding the chit back out, he grabbed a small holo-disc and let the machine stamp it with the time and date.
"Thank you." You emphasized with fake kindness, and he rolled his eyes as he let you into the town. You let the parking disc fall into your bag along with your credit chit and started to head down the road. Your 'safe' was basically a suitcase that you made more secure and added a few locks to, so you could roll it behind you. The wheels thunked over the creases of the pavement and you wondered why the town was so dead. At that time, most people would be milling about after supper and going to bars and such. As you passed a store, you saw a sign blinking on the glass advertising some kind of political rally, must be where everyone was at. At least the hotel was still being manned, though you weren't sure the old man behind the counter was even still alive.
"Hello, dearie." He smiled up at you, wrinkles so prominent his eyes nearly disappeared.
"Hello, sir. Can I get a single room for…" You thought, sucking air through the side of your mouth in thought, "how much is four nights?"
"At 250 credits a night, that would be about a thousand…If you stay one more night, I will keep it that price?"
"Sweet! Thanks!" You smiled back, digging through your bag to look for the chit once again. It was a bit pricier than you normally liked, but it was worth it to get a shower with water.
"A single bed, yes?"
"Yes, sir."
"I think we only have two-bed rooms…this one is two singles, does that work?"
"Sure!"
"Water shower?"
"Please~" You groaned, and he chuckled.
"It is quite slow today for the rally, so I do not think any restaurants are delivering…" The old man worked faster than you thought he would and when he slid the chit back to you, he included the room key. It looked like a glass playing card and had the room 24H-13 on it.
"It will be the second floor, take a right to the fourth hall, then its room thirteen." The old man smiled, and you thanked him, heading for the elevator, the wheels whirling on the tile floor. Once you got to the room and inside, you put everything in the room hastily before dashing into the bathroom. After relieving yourself, you shed the extremely sandy clothes and you noticed what looked like an old-style clothes dryer in the corner. It only had two settings, one of which was covered with a piece of tape and the handwritten words, ‘FOR SAND,' on it.
"Perfect." You shrugged and shoved all of your clothes in the drum, shutting the door, and letting it spin and get rid of the dust and grit.
"Oh~" You hummed in delight when you saw the water heating panel on the wall. You plugged in the best temperature and the water immediately came out perfect. Standing under the spray, you stood for nearly ten minutes just letting the water flow over your tired body. Glancing up at the shower head, you clicked your tongue in annoyance, it was fixed on the wall without a hose…
"Need to find a guy…" you grumbled and then proceeded to actually wash up. The soaps and cleansers all smelled of Terra fruits and you wondered what they might taste like. Getting out of the shower nearly an hour later, you wrapped a towel around yourself and your hair, heading back to the main room of the hotel. Flopping onto the bed, your stomach rumbled loudly, and you sighed dramatically. No delivery…The only place that was probably open was the diner and luckily it was right next door to the Assembly office in the strip mall. It was always open since the employees of the Assembly would eat there most of the time, but they never delivered anyway. When your skin finally no longer felt wet or sticky, you put on your set of spare clothes and grabbed your smaller bag.
"Sandy." you mumbled, going back to the bathroom, taking your now sand-free clothes out. Taking everything out of your bag and setting it on top of the machine, you put your bag in to get the sand off and while you waited, put your boots back on. As it continued, you brushed your hair out and braided it again. Looking at your face, you had a slight tan line from your goggles, but it was nearly unnoticeable thanks to your head scarf covering most of the rest of your face. The machine dinged and you retrieved the satchel, putting everything back and making sure you had your chit and keycard, you left the hotel room to go get supper. Waving to the old man at the desk, you dashed out to the street and jogged down the sidewalk. The rally was still going, you could hear the shouting and cheers in the distance. Must have been a more local election or campaign because you didn't recognize the politician on the flyer. Most of the store fronts were closed, even as you turned the corner to get to the main street. In the distance, you saw the light pouring out of the windows of the Assembly office and the diner, shining like a beacon among the darkened stores surrounding it. Like a good child, you looked both ways before you crossed the road, despite there not being anything or anyone nearby. The doors slid open when you approached the office and the guy behind the counter looked up lazily from where he was counting something at the desk.
"Can I help you?" He sounded very tired. You dug in your bag once again and pulled out your credit chit as well as your ID so he could see you were a legit scavenger, but also a freelancer. Freelancers actually tended to get more money than their own employees because they didn't have to pay benefits and all that other stuff.
"I'll let the Salvage Officer know you're here." The guy handed you your stuff back and you went to sit in the empty waiting area. Tapping your toe on the floor, you could look into the entrance of the diner through the windows and door inside the office. There was only one or two customers inside and just one waitress. There was a guy sitting in the back corner, thin glasses perched on the end of his nose as he read. A paper book? Who had physical books anymore?
"(Y/N)." Your name was called by a familiar voice, and you smiled at the owner.
"Junmyeon!" He motioned with his head, and you followed him into his personal office.
"Didn't know you were working here now." You sat in front of his desk, and he chuckled, relaxing back into his office chair.
"I just transferred. What have you found?" He took the holo-tracker from you when you handed it over and plugged it into his console.
"Most of them are small…" You dimpled the corner of your mouth, looking at the monitor the best you could from your angle. He shifted the screen so you could see better, and you pointed to different marks and gave more details.
"What one is this?" He was looking at the blue logo and you shrugged.
"I have no idea; it was huge though. Looked like a Meteor-class size ship, maybe bigger. It was totally covered and left a huge crater." You emphasized with hand motions, and he panned the picture out to get the measurements before he tapped the logo so the computer could analyze it. As it spun you dug through your bag, looking to see if you had lip balm or something. You didn't notice your business friend simply watching you, more like staring. His eyes flashed to your lips as you painted the balm on your lips with your ring finger. When the console dinged, it brought both of your attention back to the machine.
"Oh, wow." He leaned in to read the information.
"I need to make some calls, can you come back in a few hours?" He looked at you and you nodded, standing.
"I can grab something to eat in the meantime!" You waved goodbye and didn't even notice when he tried to call after you. Heading back to the front of the office, you went to the door leading to the diner and the door slid open with a ding.
"Just you, girlie?" The older waitress called from behind the counter, and you nodded, going to sit at said counter.
"What can I get for you?" she asked, sassily chewing her gum. You looked over the menu and made your choice, pulling out your holo-tracker to play a game as you waited for your food. You glanced over to the back corner over your shoulder, looking at the guy reading.
"Who is that?" you asked the waitress when she came back with your drink.
"He's been hanging around here for a few days. I'm not sure what he's doing, but I know he's waiting for something. The secretary in the office might know." She nodded back to where you had been, and you told her you would be right back. Leaving your bag on your stool to save your spot, you jogged back into the office and the guy at the desk cast you a tired glance.
"Who is that guy?" You pointed toward the back corner, leaning your elbows on the ledge of the front desk.
"He's a bounty hunter of some sort I believe. He is looking for someone for some reason, is waiting there for leads. He's offering money for any information." He shrugged and you nodded in acknowledgement and headed back to the eatery. Your food was ready by the time you got back, and the waitress chuckled at how fast you shoveled it in. When you were done, you handed her your chit and meandered on over to the guy.
"I heard you're looking for someone?" You started casually and he looked up at you over his glasses and your eyes widened. He was freaking gorgeous. His left eye was highlighted red, it seemed he had some kind of hologram-like contact in it or something. His black hair was styled half up, his bangs resting over his brow. He had a few ear piercings, his left nostril had a simple loop ring, and a matching one in the middle of his bottom lip. A chain hung around his neck with a pendant on the end that was some kind of upside-down triangle design. He simply hummed in response and put a slip of paper in his book and shut it, taking his glasses off. You sat on the end of the booth, a big gap between the two of you since he was sitting in the corner of the circular seat. He slid his holo-tracker across the table showing you a blurry image from some kind of security feed. It was a person, that was about all you could tell, and they had a hood up over their head and only the bottom part of their face was visible.
"This it?" You looked back at him, and he was sitting there stiffly, just looking at you. He was really hot, actually. He had on a tan, old-style button up with the top few buttons undone. His pants were a brown leather of some kind, and he had a belt on with an attached thigh-holster that held a pistol blaster.
"They stole some schematics. I need them back more than to find the person." He tapped the screen as he looked at it upside down and it showed a second image. The person had a cylinder with a strap hung over their back.
"It’s a set of old maps, they were stolen from the archives at the museum in the Capital." he explained and you slid your finger over the full image, zooming out to see the area.
"You a bounty hunter?" You slid the holo-tracker back to him and he put it back in his pocket.
"Not really. I'm a Ranger."
"You're a Ranger!?" You perked up and he seemed taken aback by your sudden excitement. Rangers were a small and elite group, they were essentially vigilantes, freelancers. They tended to do more things like rescues or arrests, or other odd jobs. They had a pretty strict rule of not killing.
"So, you want the maps but don't need the thief?"
"Yes. I would be nice to get both, though."
"Hm. I'll ask around and see, I travel quite a bit-"
"Scavenger?"
"Y-yeah." You chuckled nervously under his intense gaze.
"Be careful out there, if you get a lead, message me." He got his tracker back out and you scanned his with yours to save his ID.
"What's your name?" you asked.
"Wonwoo…"
"(Y/N)." You smiled and got up from the booth, going to retrieve your chit.
"I'll let you know!" You grinned and waved goodbye, heading back in. Your timing was perfect because Junmyeon was finished and he told you the first wrecks weren't worth a whole lot, but the last one was.
"Two million credits?!" You balked at the number.
"Yeah. Seems it was some kind of cargo vessel, and they think it might still have all of the packages on it still. You could get even more depending on what's inside." He smiled at your gawk, and you finally shut your mouth.
"Woah."
"I can get you the two million now-"
"Really!?"
"Yes." He chuckled and you dug your chit back out and he slid it into the console so he could transfer the credits.
"Shit…" you whispered, your hand shaking a bit as you took the chit back.
"Are…you staying in a hotel tonight?" Junmyeon asked as you scrolled on your holo-tracker, admiring the giant number registered in your account.
"Yeah! I might upgrade my room~" You giggled, and he took a breath, trying to psych himself up, but no words came out before you stood to leave.
"Thanks, Myeon! I'll make sure to come here when I can, kay?" You waved goodbye and he sighed as you dashed out of his office. As you left to head back to your hotel, you saw that Wonwoo had left his booth and you wondered why. Getting outside, you realized the rally had gotten out, floods of people now walking the streets, a big crowd heading toward the diner.
"Ew." You sneered at the globs of people and dashed back to the hotel. When you got in the lobby, you skipped up to the front counter, ready to ding the bell and call the nice old man out for assistance.
"Oh?" Someone was sitting in the lobby, a book in his hand.
"Ran away from all the people?" You spoke a bit louder so he could hear you and he glanced up over his glasses again. His face wasn't quite so cold as before, but he wasn't smiling either.
"Yes." His tone was also lighter.
"There's about to be a bunch more. The campaign team is staying here and will be back soon." The old man had come out of the office, and you sneered as he laughed.
"Are you staying here too?" you asked Wonwoo who had put his book away and was taking his glasses off.
"I hadn't checked in yet."
"We do not have any more rooms available, sir. We just had an influx of online reservations since the rally got out so late…" The old man sighed, and you hummed.
"I have a second single bed in my room…?" You suggested, not meeting his eye as he came to stand by you. He had a small duffle over his shoulder. His eyes finally met yours, and he seemed a little nervous, but you could only see it in his eyes, past that red glowing contact.
"Is that alright with you?"
"Yes? I wouldn't have offered otherwise…" You huffed and the old man hummed.
"Here, I will get you a key as well." You both waited and when Wonwoo received the clear keycard, you both scurried to elevator, people starting to enter the lobby. Neither of you said anything till you had shut the door to the hotel room.
"Are you sure this is okay?" you asked him, he was even stiffer than before.
"Y-yes." He cleared his throat, and he went further into the room, taking the bed near the window since your stuff was on the other one. He told you he was going to shower, and you nodded as he dashed past you. Sighing, you shook away some very impure thoughts, and went to your safe, rolling it over to the bench under the clothing rack and hauling it up onto it with a grunt. It took two physical keys as well as two padlocks and a dial lock. It clicked each one open and then you were able to open it. The air seal 'shunked' as you opened it, and you carefully rested the lid on the wall so it wouldn't scratch it. Looking over your objects, you had some small crystal-like artifacts that you worried were just fakes from some kind of gift shop. You also had some intact parts for ship consoles and even jewelry. There had been just a random case you found washed up on the shore of an oasis once that had gold and silver necklaces and rings inside. It was never reported missing, so you just kept them. Other bits and pieces were inside as well, and your mind went back to the image Wonwoo had showed you. The hood was what caught your eye. The person was experienced, knowing how to hide their face from all angles, so they were probably an experienced thief. Who would want ancient maps though? Especially from Terra.
"What is all that?" His deep voice startled you; you hadn't even heard the bathroom door open. Glancing up, you swallowed hard at the sight. He had put most of his clothes back on, but his shirt was still unbuttoned, allowing you to see his toned torso. He had flopped a towel onto his head to dry his hair and was putting his glasses back on. Trying to ignore how freaking sexy he was, you cleared your throat and started to point things out. When you got to the crystals, you let him put up the one that was shaped like a pyramid.
"I don’t know if they are worth anything, they might be fakes.”
"Have you shone light through them?" he asked, and you hadn't even thought of it.
"No?" He handed it back and you dug through your bag and found your flashlight, holding it to the crystal.
"Woah!" You gasped as a map of the stars shone on the ceiling as the light passed through the crystal.
"Is it worth anything?" you asked him. It was cool but could still theoretically be from a gift shop.
"The fakes have a button to turn on the light, that's the real deal. Where did you find them?" He was buttoning his shirt up, unfortunately, picking up the three other crystals and coming to sit on his bead across from you. There was a sphere, one that looked like a big diamond and an obelisk. You handed him the flashlight and he shined it through the other ones. The sphere showed a projection of a globe, but it wasn't S.V.T or even Terra.
"Mars." he muttered, and you looked closer, recognizing the small dots over the surface as the towers that held the barrier around the planet. The diamond one lit up a bright aqua blue, but that seemed to be all it did. The obelisk projected the time and date, but it seemed to be from Mars as well.
"I found them in some cave. How the heck did they get all the way out here?"
"Were these the only things in the cave?"
"Yeah…So even though they are legit, are they worth anything?
"Hm. Maybe to a collector. I can take them to the museum when I go back-" he halted, "If you're okay with it, I'll pay you back." If he wasn't a Ranger, you would be more hesitant to allow it, because he could just pocket the money. You didn't think he would though, not with the reputation of his group at stake otherwise.
"Sure." You shrugged and he took them and put them in his own pack, and you went back to your safe and locked it up.
"Thank you for letting me stay here." He called suddenly as you tried to figure out how the holo-screen worked and what channels there were.
"Sure. I'm not a fan of big groups of people and this is the best hotel in town." You smiled at him, going to hand him the remote.
"Oh, no, you can choose. I'll just read." You nodded and didn't press to continue the conversation. While it was quiet between you two, it was companionable and before you knew it, you had drifted off the sleep, listening to some show and the flipping of his book pages. When you awoke, he was gone, but it was like ten in the morning, and there was an unread message on your holo-tracker.
Sorry I left without saying goodbye. Thank you for letting me stay in your room for the night. I am heading back to the capital for now and will get your crystal projectors estimated. Please let me know if you get any leads on the map thief.  -Wonwoo
You sighed, a little disappointed he just left, but he seemed quite shy and closed off. Whatever. For the rest of the day and the next few you lazed about and did some fun things to spoil yourself after your big payout, enjoying your little vacation. Over the week afterwards you were having trouble finding anything significant and had stopped at a small tavern set up near a small oasis. You sat at the bar, laying on it dramatically. The bartender had moved the fan closer to you so it could blow straight on you as you lazily sipped from the straw in your fruity drink. You glanced casually at the entrance when another person entered, and you zeroed in on their face. They had a hood on, but that didn't mean it was for sure the person Wonwoo had been looking for. After he had gotten the money from the crystals, more than you thought but not a huge amount, he had sent you more information. It was a woman, presumably, and she was pretty tall and even always wore heeled boots. Your gaze shifted to their feet but couldn't see for sure and you couldn't even tell it was a woman. You and Wonwoo had actually been messaging some even past leads on the thief. You didn't have many friends and while he had the other rangers, he said it was nice to talk to someone new. As you sat at the bar, you watched her, pretending you weren't. You casually took out your holo-tracker and took a picture of the person as discreetly as you could, then headed out. You continued to wait and watch in your rover, ready to take a  picture of their vehicle when they left. You thought you knew which one it was, but didn't know for sure, so you waited till they came back out. They got in the one you had been eyeing, and so once they headed off, you sent the two pictures and a few more details to Wonwoo. He thanked you for the update, then asked where you were. He then told you to meet him in the next town of Falko, and since you were headed there anyway…
The town was much smaller than Jaron, so there was only one small motel, so it was easy to find where he was and get to his room. He was on the first floor in room three. You knocked and barely waited before he opened it. He was…smiling. You didn't know he could do that. You forgot how gorgeous he was.
"T-thanks." You smiled bashfully and followed him inside. It seemed he had been there awhile based on everything spread out across the room. There were a few consoles set up as well as tablets and other tech.
"What's going on in here?" You motioned around the room.
"While I'm looking for the map thief, I'm also trying to get the Ranger's new communication array set up. I'm making the program myself so it can't be hacked by outside sources." Wonwoo shrugged, moving various tablets from one of the beds so you could sit down. He sat at the small desk and turned to face you. He asked a few questions about the person you saw, and you gave him more details from the pictures. It wasn't a whole lot to go on, but if it was them, then he now had their vehicle information. Before you could talk past leads on the thief, his holo-tracker went off and he read the message. He sighed.
"What's wrong?"
"My partner is coming back. It might be better if you leave." He stood to lead you out and you grimaced.
"I-It's not…I just don't want him to meet you…" He mumbled and you wanted to press the issue. His cheeks were slightly red, and he flashed another genuine smile as you left the motel room.
"I'll let you know if the lead pans out." You nodded and before you could turn and leave, he had held something out for you.
"What's this?" You took the little holo-card.
"Um…it's my address. If you are ever in Ratalla…I won't be back home for a few more days, but I should be working from there after…" Wonwoo rubbed his hands on his pants, then shoved his hands in his pockets when you noticed.
"Thanks." You gave him your own smile, then left giddily.
Nearly another month passed before you saw him in person again, but you messaged back and forth quite a lot. There was once you were near his hometown, but he wasn't there, so you missed the chance of seeing him again.
You had been meeting with a repair man in a city called Guro; your rover hadn’t been driving straight. It seemed he would need it for a few days to even determine the issue, let alone what to do after. At least you were in a place with lots of activities. You had actually gotten another half a million credits from the giant wreck you found and had more funds than you knew what to do with. As you left the shop, looking up on the extranet for the nicest hotel, someone caught your eye. Despite the heat of the desert and the midday sun, there was someone slinking around with a hood on. You watched them, eyes glancing at their feet. Heeled boots. It was also a woman, and her height matched the parameters. There was even a cylinder vessel hung over her shoulder. It was her. The area had most warehouses, and she might have been meeting a buyer, so you decided to follow her. You sent Wonwoo a message with your coordinates to see if he could send someone by as well, or better yet, call some Guards. You trotted behind her, trying to stay out of sight and remain quiet. Hiding quickly around the corner, you watched her go into an unmarked warehouse after looking around for followers. Not well enough. The thief had gone in through a large open garage door, so it made it easy for you to follow. Crouching against the wall right near the edge of the door you peered around the corner and saw she was alone, probably waiting for someone. She glanced at her holo-tracker, then went further in, toward the garage door on the opposite side that opened to a scrap yard. Looking for another hiding place, you dashed forward and hid behind a column. When you peered around though, she was gone.
"Why are you following me?" A voice called from behind you, and you spun to see the thief, holding a pistol blaster aimed at you. Your heart fell and sweat broke out on your brow. Those maps must be really valuable if this person was willing to shoot you to prevent the interruption of the hand-off.
"I-I was just trying to figure out who-" The woman pulled back the hammer on the weapon and your stomach dropped.
"Shit!" You scrambled up and tried to at least get around the column when you saw her finger going to the trigger.
"Fuck!" You slammed your back against the column, seeing a smoking scorch mark on the ground.
"(Y/N)!" a familiar voice shouted, and you were shocked by Wonwoo's presence, distracting you.
"Stupid bitch!" The thief was back behind you, and you spun to see the gun nearly at your head. You yelped when something yanked you back and you fell into a hard body. Leaning into him, you watched in terror as the woman fell back onto the ground, a hole in her head. Then you noticed not only were you breathing hard, but so was he. He spun you around to look over you, his hands on your shoulders, one going to your jaw to adjust your head so he could look you over.
"Are you okay?" He was nearly frantic, his face and tone filled with panic.
"Y-yes." You weren't sure to be more surprised by his sudden appearance or the clear worry he had for you. It made your heart thud but for a much different reason. When he had finished looking over you and determined himself you were okay, Wonwoo pulled you into a hug. You returned the embrace, more trying to comfort him than anything.
"Fuck, I was worried." He sighed right in your ear, his deep voice rumbling through you.
"You were?" He pulled back enough so he could meet your eye and huffed.
"Of course. You didn't reply when I messaged you to stay away…" His hand went back to your jaw, his thumb brushing over the skin of your cheek, which was rapidly getting warm and red. When you met his eyes again your widened, he got close again and pressed a soft kiss to your forehead.
"Are you okay?" You chuckled a bit, kind of worried. He had never shown this level of emotion before.
"Yeah." Wonwoo pulled way, petting your hair then went to the body of the woman. You tried to avoid looking at her as he took the map holder from her and soon the Guard showed up. It was another good hour or maybe two before you both were finally allowed to leave after giving statements and answering questions.
"Do you have a place to stay tonight?" he asked you as you left the warehouse district.
"Not yet. I was just about to find a hotel when I saw her…" You drifted off, pointing with your thumb in the general direction of where you just were.
"I got a crap ton of money from a wreck I found so I was going to go somewhere fancy." You smiled wide and he gave you a smaller one. Wonwoo took a step closer, looking a bit nervous, his voice had a slight waver when he spoke.
"Wanna get a room together?"
From everything after he asked that question, till your back hit the door of your hotel room, it was a blur. As soon as the door closed, he had you pressed against it, his lips swallowing yours. His big hand was at the back of your head, making sure it didn't hit the wood of the door. You had gotten one of the deluxe suites of the nice hotel, so the bedroom was separate from the living area, and there was a small kitchen even. When your lungs started to burn for more air, he finally pulled his mouth from yours. As you caught your breath, just looking at each other, Wonwoo leaned into whisper in your ear, "I'm going to fuck you on every surface in this place." He promised. Your head swam at the statement and whined.
"Please~" As soon as he got permission, he grabbed turned you around, your front pressed to the door and his nose nuzzled behind your ear. You let him do as he wished, running his hands under your thin top, starting to suck on the skin in the crook of your neck. You were a bit worried about him having to stoop over so far since he was so much taller, but if he wasn't complaining, neither would you. You could tell he was marking your skin as he licked, sucked, and nibbled over your neck and shoulders. His hands quickly got your shirt off and as his hands danced over the skin of your stomach, you toed your boots off, shoving them to the side. Before he completely removed it, Wonwoo slipped his hands under your breast band, palming the flesh, making you shiver. Undoing the latch, he took the wrap off and it fell to the floor as well. Not turning around to see for sure, you heard more fabric rustling and assumed he was removing his own top. You sighed when his arms wrapped around you, holding your back to his bare chest, the right hand cupping your left breast, and his other hand skating over your stomach. He smiled at the whining moan you let out when his hand finally went into your pants, long fingers stroking the wet patch on your panties.
"So wet, pretty girl." He kissed behind your ear, fingers tweaking your nipple.
"Wonwoo~" You whimpered when his bare fingers finally met your folds and he groaned.
"Let's see how tight you are." Every time he rumbled words in your ear, it made your whole body shiver. Sighing when his finger slid inside, he huffed, his hips twitching as your gummy walls sucked his finger in. You could feel his hardening cock through his pants, pressing into your back side. When Wonwoo added a second finger, crooking them up and pressing hard into your back wall, your legs buckled, and the only reason you didn't fall was his arms around you.
"Need to get your pussy ready for me, pretty." He smiled against your neck when your groan faded into a whine.
"Fuck~" You practically cried as his palm dug into your clit and you were already close.
"No!" You gasped when his fingers left right as you were getting to the edge.
"Wonwoo?" He had pulled away entirely, you only knew he was still behind you because his hands were on the waist band of your pants. He pulled them along with your underwear down and kneeled behind you, helping you get them off without falling over.
"Hold on, pretty girl." While you weren’t sure what he was about to do, your fingers dug futilely into the wood of the door. Your breath escaped you when he, without real warning, shoved his tongue into your cunt, his thumb flicking your clit. Your legs immediately began to shake, a mewl escaping with each rapid breath. You were done for when his lips sealed around your clit, barely flicking with his tongue, and your nails dug into the wood as you released on his tongue. He chuckled, your cunt dripping release onto the floor.
"Gonna have to clean this place good…" You joked, breathless and he laughed harder. Wonwoo hummed, standing back up. There was more shuffling as you rested against the door panting. You sighed when his arms came back to you, pulling you back into his now completely naked body. His cock was wedged in the crook of your ass, and you swore under your breath, why was he so freaking big? He was tall and his shoulders were broad, and apparently had to have a fat cock as well.
"Fuck!" You groaned when the head of his cock went to the entrance of your core. One of his arms wrapped around your ribs, the hand resting under your breast, and the other was at your hip.
"Ready?" His tone had shifted, it was playful and cocky, a slight laugh accompanied the word.
"Please!" You gasped as he started to push in, your legs shook as his dick stretched you open. You hadn't been fucked in a long time, and longer still fucked good. You panted out little whines as he kept filling you, and it seemed like he was going to end up in your throat. Your whole body was trembling when he finally bottomed out, his strong hips pressed against your ass.
"God, your cunt feels so good, princess." His groan rumbled through both of you. You couldn't see, but his head was thrown back, adam's apple bobbing as he tried to get used to how tight you were. When he realized you were on your tip toes trying to compensate for the height difference, he shifted to ease the strain. He backed up so you could lean forward more, and he angled his hips down. Your feet were no longer burning, and his new angle seemed to get him even deeper somehow. Your cunt was burning too, trying to accommodate his size, slick walls fluttering from the stimulation. He had still barely moved, letting you adjust, but you were growing close again.
"Move…" Your request was so quiet. You were trying not to moan like a bitch in heat even though that was exactly how you felt.
"Slow? Fast?"
"Fuck- Wonwoo, just-" He pulled out about halfway and thrust back in, the head of his cock kissing your cervix. You both moaned, his hands left their original positions to grip the flesh of your ass and he chuckled when you nearly sobbed as he started. Only pulling out part of the way, he would fuck back into you hard, grinding his pubic bone into you each time.
"Fucking hell, Wonwoo~" You ended up back on your toes just from the pleasure and you hoped they wouldn't fine you too bad for the scratches your nails were carving into the wood. All your breath got fucked out of you when he finally gave a full thrust, your orgasm slamming into you.
"Shit-" Wonwoo grunted when your already tight cunt squeezed him even more, he had to slow down just to keep himself from cumming as well. He smirked, watching your fingers twitch as you clawed the door, your head flopped forward between your shoulders.
"No, no, no!" You babbled as he pulled out all the way, huffing in amusement at your whining.
"Come here, pretty." Wonwoo easily lifted you, somewhere between like a sack of potatoes and a princess. Your head was still swimming from your orgasm, so the move to the next location was a bit blurry. You shivered and mewled when he set you on the counter that was in the mini kitchen of the suite, the marble very cold on your bare thighs and pussy. He laughed at your yelp when he pulled you, so your butt was right at the end of the counter, and didn't hesitate to bury himself back into you. The thrust was harsher and faster than the first and your hands flew to his shoulders to steady yourself as he restarted the brutal rhythm that he was fucking you against the door with. The man groaned when your nails dug into his skin instead of the wood, so he decided to mark you himself.
"Wonwoo~" Your voice wavered, eyes starting to tear up at the feeling of him fucking your brains out. His mouth went to your own shoulder, at the base of your neck. He started with open mouth kisses, then sucked the skin before lightly sinking his teeth in. He could feel your whimper against your throat, and you felt his responding hum from his lips. Wonwoo tightened his grip as well, wanting to leave bruises shaped like his hands on your skin. He was struggling to hold you upright enough, so you didn't bang your head against the counter, and his knees kept knocking into the cabinet.
"Hold on…" He grunted, and you squeaked when, without withdrawing, picked you up, holding your legs around his waist. Not going far, one hand held your butt and the other went to hitch your leg over his elbow as he pinned you to the wall. Luckily the paint on the wall wasn't textured, your back rubbing over the surface as you bounced on his cock. Wonwoo looked even more gorgeous than normal like that, naked, sweat covering his brow, pupils blown wide. The red, dancing hologram of his eye contact contracted and spun, and you wondered what it did, if anything. With hazy thoughts, you glanced down at his body, whining at the sight of his abs, clenched to work his hips and hold you up.
"Fuck, pretty girl-" He exhaled harshly, his thrusts getting less regular as he grew closer to his orgasm.
"Inside, please, fuck!" You pleaded and he had no desire to argue. His forehead landed on your shoulder, and he moaned higher than you thought he could go as he pumped his cum into you. In the silence, cutting through both of your panting breaths, your combined release dripped onto the tile floor. Your head was so empty you nearly didn't realize you had came again as well. You tried hard not to slump like a rag doll since he was completely holding you up, but you had nearly no strength.
"Let's get to the bed." Wonwoo stood up straight, staying inside, his cock still rock-hard and he carried you to the separate bedroom of the suite. While he meant to set you down on the bed gently, you flopped onto it, letting yourself finally go boneless, your muscles and mind were mush. You weren't sure if you could go any longer, but despite a bit of sweat on him, he was unaffected.
"I've been waiting to fuck you since you came to my motel room in Falko." He admitted, shifting you higher on the bed, following suit, his hard cock covered in both of yours cum resting between the folds of your cunt. You barely registered the confession before your back arched, his cock finding its home inside of you again. It was hard to fully catch your breath, he was battering his cock into your dripping cunt without any mercy. As he rolled his hips just right to hit every single good spot inside of you, his hands gripped your thighs, maneuvering your weakly shaking thighs so they were pressed to your chest, knees at your ears.
"D-daddy, go slower!" You keened and his hips immediately stopped. You were too far gone to feel anything but a bit of respite, head flopping so your cheek rested on the pillow.
"Fucking hell, princess." Somehow his voice had gotten deeper, and he started the brutal pace back up, snapping his hips even harder than before. If you had the strength to scream you would, but your throat was hoarse, so you just mewled and squeaked, drool pooling from the corners of your mouth, tears down your cheeks.
"You love daddy's cock ruining your sweet little cunt, huh?" He huffed when your glassy eyes met his. The red hologram spun and danced, and while you couldn't see, through the lens he had a much different view. Little numbers and labels shown in the air around your body, telling him how and where your brain was firing, your heart rate, body temperature, blood pressure. He could even highlight where blood pooled to the bruises his hands had made.
"Yes~!" You gasped as his thrusts slowed down, but just as hard, he barely pulled out before grinding down into you. Different sensors from his lens flashed on and he could tell you were getting close already. Even without it, he could feel your walls pulsing, more of your wet dripping from where your bodies met.
"You wanna cum, pretty?" You nodded rapidly, whimpering positively.
"Cum for daddy, then." And with one more thrust you fell over the edge. Not just from his words, but also the rough friction of his pelvic bone meeting your clit. Wonwoo chuckled as he felt your pussy spasm, more of your cum squirting from your quivering folds, coating his skin as well. He had a feeling you were spent even though he knew he could keep going. He had stilled inside of you, so he didn't overstimulate you too much, and he wasn't for sure you were still conscious. Your eyes were closed, arms resting on the bed up by your head. He smiled warmly, cooing at your fucked out state, letting your legs go so they could rest onto the bed as well. When he pulled out you shuddered, a long shaky keen floating from your parted lips. He was shocked at the globs of thick, white cum that dripped out of your swollen cunt and he was still unfortunately still very hard. After feeling your core milk him dry, he wasn't sure even a cold shower would calm him down. Though, seeing you laying there, he felt a little bad he had caused you to become so worn out and didn't want to be selfish.
"Oh, princess." Wonwoo leaned back over you, kissing your cheek, the corner of your mouth, then softly pressed his lips to yours. You sighed and it made him grin, you were at least conscious.
"You're still hard." Your voice was quiet, higher than normal, almost whiny.
"It's okay, pretty, you're tired." Wonwoo nuzzled the side of your neck under your ear, lightly sucking on your ear lobe. If he wasn't careful, he would not be able to resist sliding back inside you. With the little strength you had return to you, you pushed him back just enough that you could flop over onto your stomach.
"(Y/N), we don't-" You didn't let him finish, grabbing a pillow to shove under your hips, lifting your butt a bit higher.
"Please, daddy~" You looked at him with shining eyes over your shoulder, and who was he to resist?
"Oh, fuck, princess. If you insist…"
a/n: i got a spark of inspiration late last night and stayed up 'til 5 in the morning writing this, read it today and realized it was pretty much incomprehensible so rewrote it
You were bringing him lunch.
He'd forgotten his lunch today, why?
Well because you hadn't waken him up this morning, like you do every morning. Must've slipped your mind.
Nearly late for work, dashing out the door, one arm in his coat, trying to get the other on while grabbing his keys and shoving his feet into his shoes. Barking at you to bring him lunch today.
Shouting at you all the while.
After all, it was your fault. For failing your duty of being a human alarm clock for him the past however many years it'd been since you'd married him.
But it was okay.
You should've waken him up. It was your fault.
So you brought him a lunch.
A coffee you'd picked up just before and a turkey sandwich.
With tomatoes and lettuce and mayonnaise and no cheese because he's picky and only likes cheese in his ham sandwiches.
Cucumbers and just a dash of mustard-just the way he likes it.
Expecting to find him as usual, in his office. Working hard and earning money to pay for the life you had.
He certainly was working at something. Not at his work, but his dutiful little assistant.
Bent her over the desk, the thing rocking and creaking from the force. Holding her by the throat, her moans coming out scratchy as he groaned into her neck, whispering in her hair.
God, if only your own sex life could be that enthusiastic with him.
The things you've had to endure all by yourself due to his poor skills in the area. The nights you'd had to take care of yourself because he surely couldn't.
And this is what you got?
Sigh.
This is what you got for marrying a rich, semi-attractive man. An arranged marriage on both ends but you at least thought that he would stay faithful.
The divorce settlement will pay well at least, you think, pulling out your phone and taking a few pictures.
To show your lawyer, of course.
Thank heavens, they're both being so loud, they didn't even realize you came in, his desk perfectly situated that their direct line of view isn't at the door where you stand.
Snap a few more and close the door quietly behind you.
You'll have to leave his lunch at the front desk with his secretary. His particularly adorable secretary.
His nametag just slightly crooked on his button-up, reading Jisung. Looking down, distracted at something on his computer screen.
You clear your throat, admiring the way his teeth tug at his lip, intently staring at whatever's on the screen.
His eyes flash up at you, widening, body jolting as he frantically clicks at his mouse.
He tries to put on a smile and recollect himself but impulsively reaches up to readjust his glasses nervously, fighting back the blooming blush coating his cheeks.
"H-hi, Mrs. L-Y/N!" He squeaks, remembering the many times you've clicked your tongue at him and told him to call you by your first name.
"Hello Hannie! How are you today?" You smile at him,
His heart skips a beat at the nickname you'd fondly gifted him and he nods. "I'm good, better that you're here now! I've missed seeing you around!"
"Aww," you glance towards your husbands office, still seeing the blinds shut. Then your attention is back on Han, fully and wholly. "I've missed you too, I've just been so busy with everything, you understand."
He adjusts his glasses again, a bright smile lighting up his face. "Ah, yes. Been there, done that. I completely understand."
He doesn't understand, has not the foggiest idea but the way you're looking at him.
It shouldn't have him feeling this way.
You're his boss's wife. He could get fired and lose this job he really needs.
But...you're you.
And oh, he really just wants to impress you.
And your small laugh makes his heart flutter. "Oh of course you do, it's too bad that someone can never seem to." You gesture over to the door. "Y'know, that always one of the things that I've loved about you Hannie, how you get me in ways that he's never have."
Perhaps he's being delusional.
Perhaps it's that he can't read the signs right but the bitterness in your tone when you speak of him, the way your lips twist in distaste compared to the way you say his name.
Hannie.
With such warmth and a fond look in your eye. A fond look that maybe suggests...
He adjusts his glasses but this time you grab his wrist, stopping him. "Stop that won't you, darling? It's so distracting."
His skin tingles where you touch him and he's sure he couldn't be redder, he can feel his skin hot and can't help but stare helplessly where your hand is wrapped around him.
"I-uh, u-um,"
Just as quick as you'd grabbed him, you were letting him go. "Well anyway, I'm sorry Hannie, but I'm afraid that I can't stay for long. I'm just here to drop off some lunch for the boss. And I can see that he's a bit...busy right now, you'll be a good little pet for me and give it to him once he...finishes up, won't you?"
His breath hitches at it. Frozen in place, staring, blinking hard, trying desperately not to do something embarrassing...or fireable...or both.
But he inevitably fails as he reaches to grab the brown paper bag and coffee set on the desk in front of you, instead, his still slightly shaking, slightly trembling hand, knocking the coffee onto the floor and all over you.
"Fuck!" You hiss, more from the feeling of the still-hot liquid pouring onto your skin than from the fabric being ruined itself.
Han squeaks, wide-eyed before he stands up quickly, the first immediate reaction he's been able to have since you've arrived and rushes to the other side of the desk, "Shit, shit, god I'm so sorry-are you okay?"
He scrambles to grab a tissue box, trying to sop up the mess but ultimately proving himself to not be very good at it. "I'm fine. I'm fine. It's okay."
"I'm sorry, I really didn't mean-"
"-I know, I know you didn't. But it's okay. Give me the tissues." You pull the from his frantic hands. "Try to clean up the mess on the floor. I can do this."
He apologizes again, before taking the tissue box, not the best device but it'll work for now and starts trying to do just that.
You try to soak up more of the coffee from your clothes but there's really nothing else you can do, it's not that big a deal anyway.
You could always just get it replaced or professionally washed.
Especially with that settlement money, and you wouldn't have your husband up your ass telling you to control your spending like it was an allowance or something.
"Here. Let me help." You sigh, leaning down to try to help.
He shakes his head insistently, pulling the tissue box away from you. "No. This is my fault I'm gonna clean it all up."
You sigh at his stubborness. Simply giving him a look and holding out your hand. "Jisung."
The boy in question shakes his head again, and you lift your eyebrows. He pouts. "N-"
You curl your finger under his chin, forcing him to look up, cup in hand, dirty tissues in the other and you realize the position you've put yourself in.
Him crouched down, all too close in front of you, looking up, his normally adorably wide eyes giving a much different perspective than it has before.
He's realized too. "U-um, M-miss-"
"-Y/N."
He breathes heavily, his body slouching in on itself, his tilting his head more up to make up for the lost height. "I, I..."
"It's okay, use your words." You encourage, leaning down the rest of the way, coming face to face.
But he's already forgotten what he was going to say, had he even had something to say in the first place., he doesn't really remember if he did with your hand now on his cheek and the other taking the empty cup out of his hand reaching up and setting it on the desk again.
"F-fine. But I'm going to do most of the work okay? I-i can show you to the storage closet so we can get cleaning supplies?" It comes out more like a question but either way you don't question it.
Instead you stand up, pulling him up along with you. "Okay. Good, so where is the storage closet?"
--
Honestly, you'd never been in a real storage closet but you'd think it would be bigger than this.
It was tiny, filled with shelves of cleaning supplies and a broom, mop, and a few extras tucked into the corner.
All in all, there was absolutely no way it could fit more than three people and even two was a very tight squeeze as you followed him inside.
He struggles to find the light as you close the door, leaving the room in darkness.
"Where's the lightswitch?" You whisper.
He makes a noise of frustration. "I dunno, open the door again so I can-wait there it is," He reaches over your shoulder but stumbles, shoving you back into the door with a loud thud.
The light switches on and there he is.
Really, really close. His nose practically pressed against yours, glasses slid down halfway. "H-hi." His breath smells like gum, not the minty kind but the actual bubblegum kind, sweet and hot against your face.
"Hi."
The light isn't very bright, flickering and hanging swaying on the ceiling it's barely enough to illuminate the small room.
He swallows and you can hear it from how close he is.
He should move but he can't quite bring himself to. You smell so good. He can't even begin to put his finger on what it is but it certainly making his head spin and the way you're looking at him-the way you're looking at him-
The next thought is scrambled in his mind as you take his glasses and push them up his nose, fixing them for him. "There you go."
"Y-you can't just do that?" He whispers weakly, trying to ignore the proximity of your bodies now.
Your leg is practically pressed up to his crotch with how close the two of you are and fuck, if it isn't driving him insane.
"What? What am I doing?"
Everything.
You breath is fanning across his face. Your hand is resting, hovering right over the side of his face from when you moved his glasses. He's pretty sure you just inched your leg farther between his legs, pressed your thing against him more.
His eyes slip shut but even so, he still knows you're still looking at him, can practically feel your gaze burning into him.
Maybe if he closes his eyes he can forget about everything else.
Forget about the less than romantic setting around him. The bottle of cleaning spray on the shelf right beside his head reeking of chemicals that are making his head spin.
Well he doesn't actually know if it's the chemicals making it spin or you.
"Y-you're to-touching me."
“You're the one pressing me against the door Hannie." You tease.
He knows you're right. Knows you're trying to tease him. Knows that he doesn't want to move at all.
"B-but,"
"Does it have an effect on you?” He can feel as you shift, however that was made possible, closer to him.
“A-nd if I told you that it does?" He can't bring himself to open his eyes. "What about my boss? Your husband? This can ruin you. I can get fired."
He can feel your hands sliding over him. Both starting at his shoulders before trailing down. You scoff "Bastard did it first." Then, "He doesn't matter anyway. I'm leaving him."
You squeeze at his hips as a test, hearing the way he holds back a muffled moan and tuck that away for later.
He finally looks at you. "Y-you are?"
You lick a stripe up his neck and he finally moans. "Mhmm, going to see my lawyer tomorrow to file for divorce."
Nibbling at his ear, hands exploring lower, finally reaching his pants and moving back to graze over his ass. You squeeze and he gasps loudly, rolling his hips in a way that begs for more.
"S-so he ch-cheated on you then?" You brush a finger lower, over his hole and he tugs at his lip with his teeth, muffling a whine.
You pull back entirely, leaving him cold all while lifting an eyebrow. "Curious thing, aren't you Hannie?" He nods senselessly, not caring what you say so much as you would touch him again. "I think that they're more things you should be curious about."
Finally, finally, your fingers hover over his belt. "Can I?"
"Please~"
You stop and he groans with impatience. "What now?" He whines in a way that would be almost cute if it wasn't so bratty.
Huh, you'd never peg Han as a brat.
"Don't talk to me like that. I'm the one making you feel good here, so shut up and take it." You hiss.
He pouts but his eyes are alight in amusement. "I'd shut up if you were actually doing something..." He leans in with a newfound confidence you'd never expect from him. "So in other words...make me."
"Oh Hannie," You take his glasses off and wipe them of the condensation built up, full intentions of clouding them up all over again.
You click your tongue disapprovingly before resting back on his nose. "Just remember, you asked for this."
"Yes Miss."
He nods along, swiping his tongue over his lips and you smile, nearly cooing at how cute he looks as you pull his belt undone, placing your lips next to his ear. "And don't lie to me. Tell me everything you feel and let me hear every noise you make."
Then your hands are slipping down into his pants, making his head spin and his toes curl in his shoes.
"S-shit, ah!" His eyes flutter closed. "Don't stop. Please, don't stop."
As your one hand thumbs over his slit, the other pulls his pants down the rest of the way, dropping both his pants and his boxers down around his ankles.
The next thing Han knows, he's being pushed into the wall, the smell of the cleaning spray strong in his head making him feel desperately dizzy. Or maybe that was from you, looking at him all dark and mean standing there over him.
Or maybe your hand wrapped around his cock, he's so hard and you feel so good. Fuck, he doesn't understand how it could all feel so good.
Or maybe it's your other hand, wandering up his chest and landing on his nipple, leaving him gasping, begging you to stop, begging you to continue. His back arching off the wall into you and a choked moan before he's pawing at your wrists.
"D-don't," but he's non-committal, fingers weakly tugging at your hand nowhere near as forceful if actually wanted you to stop. "I-i'll cum right away if you do that." He cries.
You ignore him and continue. The time a little harder. Pinching it and slightly tugging as he sobs in pleasure.
"I don't know why you think you're in charge here honey," watching him swallow heavily, throat bobbing. "but you're not. And if I wanna play with you, I'm going to." A cry of pleasure is ripped from somewhere deep inside of him, body convulsing. "Gonna wind you up like a little toy until I'm satisfied."
Every nerve set aflame. Every piece of himself free for you to play with. Every little part of his brain sent into overdrive as his hips work automatically, messy and sloppy into your loose grip. Chest pushed farther into your hand although he still begs weakly for you to stop.
"'M your toy. Yes, your toy for you!"
He's shaking, body nearly limp. From what? A few touches to his cock and his nipples? Maybe he's just sensitive. Or maybe it's something else.
"Have you done this before?" You murmur, already knowing your answer but desperate for the confirmation.
"U-um, a-a few times-"
You stop, keeping your hand wrapped around him but still but taking your other hand entirely out of his shirt, taking his face in your hand.
He whines, pawing at your arms needily, forcefully enough that you can tell he's really trying. "No lying, Hannie. I thought I told you that."
His hips move of their own accord, fucking his cock into your fist as much as you'll allow before you pull away completely, ripping a cry from him.
"N-no, don't stop," He tries to bring his own hands down, tries to tip himself over the edge before it's gone but you don't let him.
You grip his wrists, reminding him of when you did it earlier at his desk. He whines again and you think you can see a tear slip down his adorable cheeks "Please no, please don't stop."
He can hardly believe that not even an hour ago you'd dropped off your husbands lunch.
You purse your lips, even in the dark of the room able to see the his eyes from the sheen of the gloss spread over them, only slightly hidden by the fogged up glasses that have slipped down lower to perch on his nose. "What did I tell you? About lying?"
His hiccupy gasps are so cute. "D-don't lie."
"Good." He shivers, your hand finally loosely wrapping around him again. "Then why did you lie to me, Jisung?"
He mewls as you speed up, trying to respond over the fog in his head. "'M sorry miss! M' sorry I lied, I've never done this before!" He gasps, "you're the first, you're the only!"
A moan spills out of his pretty pink lips and you claim them with your own, swallowing the next and the next after that.
Pulling away just slightly to whisper against his lips. "Good boy, Hannie. Such a good boy for me aren't you?"
"Y-yes, yes Miss, 'm a good boy."
Your lips curl up and your hand ventures to his hip, rubbing the area you'd pegged as sensitive and what a surprise, you're right.
His eyes flutter shut with a high keen. "And you know what?"
A meek, "what?" comes from him despite how dazed he is.
"Good boys get rewards."
Your hand moves quicker and he swears he can see stars exploding behind his eyes.
And then your hand's digging so hard into his hip, he's pretty sure-no he's positive it'll leave a mark there.
"God," His glasses are so fogged that he can barely see a thing even if his eyes weren't already in the back of his skull.
"I'm no god pretty thing. But I can sure make you feel like heaven." You whisper and he shudders, legs shaking under him so hard he doesn't think he could hold his weight up if it weren't for the wall behind him.
Breathless and beautiful and feeling bone-achingly high with pleasure he can barely choke out the words. "F-faster, pl-please, please...." He gasps. "I-i'm s-so, please I'm so cl-close."
You can't help but coo. "Cum whenever you need to baby, been such a good boy."
And he does.
Mouth hanging open, tears stained on the apple of his cheek which are such a pretty shade of pink. His glasses so fogged you can't even see what his eyes are doing.
Face entirely blissed out as his orgasm hits him head on like a fucking train, cute little gasps and small mewls falling from his open lips.
And quite suddenly, you're all too aware that only a thin door separates you from the entirety of the rest of the office.
And Han is still moaning loudly, sniffling and gasping. Looking and sounding like the main lead in a cheap porn movie.
In other words, loud as fuck.
You're pretty sure the damage is already done. People have already heard. But you cover his mouth with your hand anyway, muffling the noises.
His eyes widen, the touch bringing him slightly back and his eyes shoot to the door, making the same revelation that you did.
"You gotta be quiet baby" You whisper, looking around for paper towel, perhaps a clean rag that you can clean him up with, but then you look back to his pretty face.
And slowly pull your hand away. "You gotta clean up your mess baby." His eyes widen as you bring your cum-covered hand to his lips. "Wanna clean it up?"
His breath hitches. He nods frantically and begins to eagerly lap at your hand, moaning and wrapping his lips around your fingers.
You watch, entranced, pupils blown wide, watching him hungrily and when he's cleaned that up and your hand is slick with his saliva you scoop up the mess he's left all over his abdomen, bringing it to his lips once more.
He's so far gone he doesn't even realize when it's done, still pulling your fingers into his mouth, sucking on them and laving attention around each and every finger.
He can't even hear you as you brush back his hair, "You okay Hannie?"
Doesn't hear until your fingers thread through his hair, providing a grip to tug his head back, focusing his attention back on you with a moan.
"You good?"
He nods quickly, but doesn't look like he's telling the truth, still staring at you hand, tongue still peeking out from his mouth.
"Are you sure? Don't lie."
That has him snapping out of it, shaking him head with a forceful kind of clearing it before leaning down to pull up his pants. "Y-yeah. I'm good."
He's a mess. Messy hair and foggy glasses, red face and sweat still dripping down his neck.
He looks like someone who's just been properly fucked.
Voices outside talk about lunch, where they're going and you know you're husband's looking for his lunch right about now.
You quickly pick up a mop. "Okay. Um, pass me the spray behind your head?" He does, slightly shaky and a little slow still. "So, I'm gonna go and start cleaning the coffee up. You're gonna leave a few minutes after I do, head to the bathroom. Clean yourself up a bit, okay?"
Nodding animately, your hand grips the doornob.
"Wait!"
You turn back.
He looks almost like a puppy, all wide-eyed and begging. "What does this mean for us?" His heart thumps wildly. "Because I like you. I really do Mi-Y/N and I don't know if you like me or if maybe I'm just here for a stress relief or what?"
You don't know.
With your husband and the lawyer you're going to see about him tomorrow, it's really now a good idea to get into something like this.
It couldn't go well for you. But he looks so hopeful and he's so adorable and sweet and maybe you could envision something with him.
He wasn't just a stress-relief and that was for sure but what else could he possibly be right now?
Now is really not a good time to figure it out
"Do you have your phone on you?"
He shakes his head no, so you glance over and grab a sharpie off the shelf. "Here then." You lift his sleeve and begin to write on his forearm.
You finish and pull away, throwing the marker back where you found it. He scrutinizes the ink on his skin. "What's this?"
"My number. I like you too, Jisung. But now is not a really good time, call me later and we can meet up somewhere and talk, okay?" You try to sound as gentle as possible but you can tell that he's not very satisfied with that answer.
"Fine. We'll talk later."
You smile gently at him, making his heart do somersaults in his chest before you're opening the door and stepping out.
Part Two
Words: 2,490
Tumblr media
The fan blades incessantly spun above you, cutting out the only source of light in the room, plunging you into total darkness before bathing you in blinding light over and over again, moving at a speed that your eyes could never fully adjust to the light or the darkness.
It was proving to slowly drive you insane. A way to keep your senses constantly disoriented.
You'd lost track of how long you'd been stuck here, sometimes unsure if you were even still alive or if even the grim reaper had forgotten to come collect you.
The only indicator you had that you were even still a person was the cool metal of the chair you were tied to, and the grounding pain of the rope tied too tight biting into your raw wrists.
Pain, constant pain of some kind was all you could even feel.
It wasn't supposed to be like this, it was a simple recon mission, supposed to have been an in and out thing, but everything had gone horribly wrong, bad mission intel, and trusted the wrong sources.
And when push came to shove you were left behind to save the rest of the team, a necessary loss.
The sound of footsteps approaching didn't elicit fear in you like it had once, it was nothing but the announcement of more pain.
It didn't matter anymore, eventually you'd die from the beatings, the dehydration, the starvation, the rats were placing bets on which would come first so they could nibble on your corpse, waste not want not.
A tingling sensation ran up your spine at the sound of the heavy metal door creaking open, two men walking in.
"C'mon lass, chin up. Don't give them the satisfaction of ye giving up." A familiar phantom of a voice rang in your ears, but he wasn't here. Not really. Still, the echo of falsities gave you strength. The desperation to truly hear that voice again.
"Not dead yet, are we?" A forceful grip grabbed your chin, tilting your head up. The sudden movement puts spots in your vision, the taste of blood strong in your throat and mouth. "Hand me that rag." Your captor spoke to his companion, who quickly supplied the rag.
"Here you go sir." You didn't recognize this man, he was younger, probably new, fresh out of whatever training a terrorist group like this gives their soldiers.
"Let's get you cleaned up, your soft face is being obstructed by all this blood of yours." Your captor spit on the rag and got to work roughly wiping under your broken nose, making you wince. "Hush, I'm taking good care of you, if you handle this well maybe I'll even reset your nose properly."
You didn't say anything, you didn't have anything to say. You knew the routine, he'd come in here, beat you within an inch of your life, leave you for a few days then come back acting sweet, just to clean you up in the roughest way possible.
"Sir, why do we even keep them?" The new guy asked a bit meekly, blinking his eyes weirdly, clearly getting annoyed by the fan blades too.
"Just what the higher ups want, they think they have intel. So don't question it." He hissed at the younger boy, rubbing with the scratchy dirty rag at a cut on your cheek, somewhere the skin had split open from one of his punches. The bone was probably fractured, it definitely needed stitches or butterfly bandages.
You had to fight yourself from blacking out, the pain almost blinding with the way he was assaulting already searing wounds. "Stay wi' me." John urged, his voice nothing short of a command, spoken in his harsh captain voice.
"This is your own fault, remember that. If you hadn't tried to escape, things would be better for you right now." Your captor taunted you, holding your cheek and rubbing your cut with his calloused thumb, picking away any remaining scabbing the rag didn't remove to keep you bleeding.
Keep the wound from healing and closing.
Truthfully it was foolish to try and escape, the echoes of the memory replaying in your mind like a drum, the patter of your bare feet running on the cold harsh ground of the hallways, not knowing where to even run, which way was the exit, relying solely on the voice of John guiding you.
"No' that way." He'd warned, the strange shadow of him blocking the way down a hallway. "Go that way." He'd pointed another way, and you'd followed, listened.
Each step you took sent another wave of pain through you, but you'd persisted. "Stop." John spoke directly into your ear, making you halt, hearing a set of footsteps you previously hadn't before.
They were coming your way, you couldn't turn around. You were out of options. "Run, go. Noo." And you'd listened, putting every ounce of yourself into your shaky sore legs, running like mad in the way you'd hoped was the exit.
And it was.
You'd made it an entirety of five steps out and away before being tackled and dragged back inside, you'd screamed your vocal cords to shreds, screamed until you'd tasted iron in your lungs. But the pain in your throat didn't compare to the punishment you'd gotten for your attempt of escape.
"Where did you think you'd go? I mean really. Your team left you a long time ago, remember? They abandoned you, saw you as less than and tried to save themselves. They aren't ever going to come back for you. You're going to die here." Your captor reminded you, patting your head, snapping you back to the present.
Maybe he was right, you were going to die here. They weren't coming back for you. You were never going to make it out of here. You knew that from the beginning.
But yet you kept pushing, being told to hold on, being called back from the brink of death by the only ounce of hope you had left, your Johnny. He'd shown up at some point after your capture, probably the result of one too many punches to your fragile face.
"We'll be back later, try and think real hard about what we want from you, if you just tell us what we want, I promise to make your end painless, no more of this. You won't have to see my face again." Your captor pulled away, proposing the idea of death as a tender mercy. Maybe it would be. "Remember who left you here, loyalty means nothing when they're the reason you're here."
He made a point, but even still. You wouldn't talk, because they never really left you. John- Johnny, was still here with you.
Dozing off events from your early capture would replay in your mind, the bumpy blind rides you'd been on with a sack over your head, being moved locations several times before ending up in what your captor liked to call your 'tomb'.
You didn't know how long it was waiting for your captor to come back, hours, maybe days. He liked to leave you in anticipation.
But he never came back.
The sounds of gunfire and explosions sounded like nothing but another distant memory.
The sound of the heavy metal door creaking open would always bring a chill up your spine, something trained and beaten into you, to fear that sound.
You didn't care to look up, too much exhaustion and dehydration weighing your head down, you knew who it was. He'd move your head for you to force you to look at him. "I've been looking fur ye."
The sound of his voice, his actual voice, brought your bloodshot eyes to wander up to the door, landing on your captain who was already directly in front of you, kneeling to cut your binds around your feet.
Your eyes desperately raked over him, the scar on his cheek, the curve of his nose, the stubble on his face, his ears you liked to nibble on in secret, his Adam's apple, his broad shoulders.
Back up to his blue eyes, the blue eyes you'd looked into so often you'd memorized each fleck of lighter blues against darker blues, something so beautiful that you'd never been able to put them into words. You drank all of him in.
"Are you real?" Your voice croaked out, sounding hoarse and shaky, it was barely recognizable as your voice, but the pain that accompanied it proved to you that it was indeed your voice who asked.
"Aye, aye lassie, I'm real." The state of you made him take pause, pressing his forehead to yours, gently holding the nape of your neck to bring you closer to him. He needed to acknowledge for just a moment you were alive before he moved behind you to cut the rest of your binds.
The ropes holding you to the chair were all that were keeping you up, when they were cut you were released, he had to rush to catch you before you could hit the floor. "Easy. I got ye. I won't let anything happen to ye." Holding your shoulders he moved around you to face you again, pulling his canteen out for you. He brought it to your cracked, dry lips to give you some water, careful not to drown you all at once. "I'm getting ye out o' here."
Once he was satisfied with the small amount you drank he grabbed you by the arm, hauling you over his shoulder to carry you out.
Everything was a bit hazy, the whole way out, you could identify the sounds of your other teammates voices, the sounds of the helicopter, a prick in your arm, and coolness spreading in your veins, but nothing was clear. Nothing but the fact you were safe.
Things didn't become clear until you were opening your eyes, hearing an irritable beeping sound, a steady rhythm. Looking down at yourself your wrists were bandaged, two IV's in your right arm, one in your hand, the other on the inside of your elbow.
"Yer awake." A hand came to gently touch your head, coming in gentle contact with one of the bandages there.
Despite the fluids being brought back into you through the IV's your throat still ached with dryness, your captain seemed to take notice of it, quickly moving to bring you some water, gently holding a straw to your lips so you could drink.
The coolness of the water worked to both soothe your throat and highlight the pain there. You Pulled away but John didn't seem quite satisfied yet. "Just a wee bit more." He urged, and you complied.
After that some nurses and doctors came in to check on you, completing their rounds and making sure all was well with you and that you were comfortable, well, as comfortable as you could be.
John stayed the whole time, and after the nurses and doctors left he remained, a silence between you two.
He ran his hand over his mohawk, it was cut recently, a little shorter than the last time you saw it, a testament of just how long you really have been gone.
"I'm sorry, I never meant tae leave ye." His voice sounded a bit pained, trying to clear his guilty conscience.
"You never left. I always heard you, shadows all around me, prickles on the back of my neck. Your voice pushing me. Picking me up. When all the colors were black, you're the reason I'm still alive." It hurt to speak still, but you needed to get it out, it did little to comfort him, if anything making him look more worried.
"Love, I'm sorry. It shouldn't have been ye. Anyone but ye. Me. It should have been me. Not ye." He slipped from his chair, kneeling beside you, clutching your left hand with desperation, but gentle enough not to hurt you. He kissed your hand, over and over, each knuckle, each little mark, scar, bandaged blister, callous, everything.
It hurts to move your right arm with the IV's, not to mention the overwhelming weight of your bones. But you needed to, bringing your hand to gently rub his head, feeling his short hair, running along the slightly longer mohawk, grounding both of you with the sensation.
"It's not your fault. Everyone would have died if you stayed, it was a necessary sacrifice. A call I would have told you to make." Your hand slipped from his head, feeling too exhausted to be able to keep it there.
"I spent so many nights desperately searching fur ye. The only thing- the only thing that kept me going wis the thought of finding ye. I needed tae find you." Hearing his voice, really hearing his voice was something so grounding and comforting to you.
The familiar rumble and fluctuations, the Scottish accent that's mellowed out over the years of service, adjusting with hearing other's accents for so long, a lot of his slang being replaced by slang in the areas he spent time, his accent becoming a shell of what it used to be, changed so he could be easily understood. But ever present.
"You did, you found me. I'm okay. I'll be okay now." You had to say it out loud to reassure yourself that you weren't still tied to that cool metal chair, the fan blades spinning overhead, always waiting for the next dose of pain to bring you closer to the edge of blackness. Death.
Recovery sounded almost impossible, you were sure you'd never fully get over what happened to you, that the psychological as well as physical scars would always remain.
Taunt you with each flickering of light, the sound of metal, the taste of iron, each time you closed your eyes you were sure you'd see your captor, his interrogations and questions would always repeat like a broken record in your head.
But you yourself weren't broken, you made it through.
"I swear I'll never let ye go again, I'll take care of ye. Till my very last breath. I'll spend the rest of my life atoning for the pain I put ye through by leaving ye there." His words were spoken with absoluteness, a testimony more than a promise.
"Just never stop speaking to me and I'll be alright, as long as your voice is here to ground me I'll make it through." His blue eyes bore into you, they were soft, filled with longing.
It was so stupid to fall for your captain, not to mention against so many rules, even more stupid for him to fall for you too. There was only one way this could end, you were lucky this time. But who's to say you will be next time?
You shook the thought from your head, pulling him weakly with your left hand up to you, kissing him softly. He was hesitant at first, scared of hurting you, but he melted into it. Relishing having you back safe.
All things end and all things change.
written for @patchworkgargoyle for the server gift exchange! 🥰 this is also a fill for @thefreakandthehair's winter challenge
Summary:
When Eddie took over Robin's room, Steve made a promise to himself that he wouldn't scare Eddie off, that he wouldn't do anything to let him know that he’s still carrying a torch for him this many years later—because Steve feels like Eddie had to have known in college.
He had to have seen it every time Steve looked at him for a beat too long, every time he looked to Eddie first when told a joke, every time he wore his feelings so loudly because he’s never had to reign them in before.
And now he’s doomed to spend more than a week letting Eddie show him glimpses of his life that he’s never seen before, parts of him that he’s kept to himself up until now.
Steve feels like the more he gets to know Eddie, the more ingrained these feelings for him become.
But, you know, other than all of that, what could possibly go wrong?
Or, Steve was planning to spend the holidays alone, but there's no way Eddie's going to let that happen.
excerpt under the cut!
Tumblr media
“Hey, are you going to be in town for New Year’s Eve?” Eddie asks as Steve walks out of his room, bleary eyed and barely awake. “I told you I’m visiting my uncle Wayne for Christmas, but I can be back in time for New Year’s Eve if you’ll be here.”
“I’ll, uh, I’ll be here,” Steve says, his voice still scratchy from sleep.
“What are your plans for Christmas now that Birdie’s gone home with Chrissy?” Eddie asks, dropping the curious act and getting to what he really wants to know.
It’s too early for this.
Eddie knows he has less of a filter when he’s just woken up, so this is a targeted attack.
He’s been avoiding answering the question when Eddie’s asked what his plans were before, but Christmas is in a few days and it looks like his hemming and hawing around an answer—‘I might go with Robin and Chrissy,’ and ‘I’m not sure yet’—won't suffice anymore.
Robin left yesterday with Chrissy to spend Christmas and New Year’s Eve with her family, her first time taking Chrissy home to her parents, and Steve obviously didn't go with them.
He hums and takes the cup of coffee Eddie pushes into his hands when he takes a seat at their kitchen table. He takes a sip, trying to formulate a way to not say outright that he’s staying here alone.
He shrugs his shoulders and says, "I’m not doing much. I’ll be in town for New Year’s Eve though,” because his brain is still mostly offline and he’s hoping Eddie will leave it alone. (He knows that he won't, but it’s a nice thought.)
Eddie asks, “How are you getting to your parents’ place? Or are they coming to town?”
Eddie knows Steve isn’t super close with his parents just like he knows that he hasn't spent Christmas with them since he graduated college—he and Robin have spent it together since she and her parents aren't big on Christmas as a whole.
They did visit Robin’s parents the first year after college and spent the holidays there, but since then, they’ve just had Christmases at their apartment, getting each other a couple gag gifts and a couple real ones and opening them in front of their comically small Christmas tree. The only reason they aren't spending it together this year is because Robin’s parents want to finally meet Chrissy.
He gulps down more coffee before saying, “I’m not going to Hawkins.”
“Steve, work with me here. Are you or are you not spending Christmas with your parents?” Eddie asks, leaving no room for ambiguity or ‘misinterpretations’ of his question.
So he just sighs and comes clean.
“My parents are in France for Christmas, so I’m just hanging out here for the holidays,” he says, not looking Eddie in the eyes. His parents did invite him to come along, but his passport is expired and he didn't want to stress about getting it renewed in time for the trip.
“Hanging out here alone?” Eddie asks.
Steve nods, still not looking at him, fiddling with the handle of his coffee mug.
“And how’d you get Robin to leave without you?” Eddie asks, suspicion in his voice.
“What do you mean?” Steve asks, playing dumb.
“I mean there’s no fucking way she’d let you spend the holidays alone, first Christmas taking her girlfriend home or not. So what did you tell her you were doing for the holidays?”
Steve sighs, so worn out all of a sudden. He wishes they weren't having this conversation at 8 in the morning—well, he wishes they weren't having it at all, wishes Eddie’s ADHD would have let him forget to ask what his plans were before he left for his uncle’s place.
“I may have said I was spending the holidays with you,” he says sheepishly, finally looking up at Eddie.
Eddie levels him an unimpressed look and then, in an even voice, he says, “Okay. So you’re coming home with me.”
“No,” Steve says. “No. I swear I’ll be fine. It’ll be nice even. Relaxing, having some time to myself.” It sounds weak even to his own ears, so he’s not surprised when Eddie doesn't let up.
“Uh huh, sure. You come sit by me when I’m doing my virtual D&D sessions even though you don’t play because you hate being alone for that many hours, but you want me to believe you’ll be alright being alone for more than a week over the holidays?”
God, it's so not fair bringing up how needy Steve is right now. Steve only pretty recently realized how codependent he and Robin were. They spent almost all of their free time together before she started dating Chrissy and when she moved in with Chrissy and Eddie took her bedroom in their apartment, he had to actively stop himself from monopolizing all of Eddie's time because he doesn't deal well with being alone.
He keeps finding himself almost meandering into Eddie’s room first thing in the morning because spending any amount of time without someone’s voice filling his ears is unbearable to him. Even just having someone in his presence, even if they weren't talking, is better than being alone.
He tries to save face by saying, “I swear I’m fine being alone—“
“Nope, you’re coming home with me,” Eddie says, cutting Steve off, his voice final. “It’ll be a tight squeeze since my uncle’s place is pretty small, but he’ll be glad to have someone to talk sports with, so—you’re coming.”
And this is why Steve has been trying to avoid this conversation so hard for weeks now, skirting around the truth with half-answers and changing the subject because he knew Eddie wasn't going to drop it once he knew.
He really has no choice but to accept or else Eddie won't shut up about it. Or worse, he’ll tell Robin and she’s definitely not going to drop it. And she’ll be disappointed that he lied and she’ll make him drive to her parents’ house and threaten to come get him if he refuses and it’ll spoil her Christmas with Chrissy and her parents. And he doesn't want that, obviously.
This is the first time Robin’s been serious about someone and all he wants is for her to spend her Christmas in love and happy and not worrying about him.
So he says, “Fine. Fine, I’ll go home with you.”
As much as he doesn't want to insert himself into someone else’s holiday plans, he doubly doesn't want to ruin Robin’s Christmas.
“Great. We leave tomorrow afternoon.”
The triumphant smile on Eddie’s face doesn't lessen the growing guilt and unease in stomach.
He really was going to be fine, spending the holidays alone. It would have been quiet and he would have hated every second of the silence, but he could have handled it.
His parents were never super into the Christmas spirit part of Christmas anyway. They never had traditions or decorated the house or anything. Growing up, Christmas was mostly about the gifts—not that he was complaining. He always had the newest toys or video game consoles, so for the most part, he was happy enough to skip the rest of it.
It was only when he was dating Nancy and saw how her family gathered for the holidays and spent time together that he realized that his Christmases were always kind of lonely even when his parents were around.
So after college, when he and Robin moved in together, they started to make their own traditions for the holidays, decorating their apartment and wearing matching pajamas and FaceTiming Robin’s parents on Christmas morning.
This would have been the first Christmas since he started having actual Christmas traditions that he’d be spending it alone. So yeah, it would have sucked, but it would have been worth it if it meant Robin got to have her Hallmark Christmas movie moment.
And now he’s apparently going to the Munson’s for Christmas.
At least now Robin won't actually kill him when she gets back and finds out what he did for the holidays.
My dad passed away a few hours after I left the hospital.
I really didn't want him to be alone when it happened. I figured we had at least another week before the toxins built up in his system. But he had congestive heart failure along with renal failure and I think he would have passed tonight whether he stopped dialysis or not. I'm so glad we didn't attempt that amputation. He would have gone through that and died a few days later regardless.
When I left he was in a very deep sleep. So at least I was there for his last moments of consciousness. The last thing he saw was a loved one. I still wish I had stayed tonight. They even asked me if I'd like to spend the night and I had this feeling like maybe I should. But my back was on fire and I was very sleepy. And I wanted to make sure I was able to meet his visitors in the morning. So I went home to get some rest.
I know people will comfort me and say it's okay, but my mom died all alone in the ICU. She couldn't even have visitors. And I just didn't want that for my dad. I wanted to be by his side holding his hand.
In any case, they called around 12:40 am. I barely held it together until I hung up the phone. I called my brother to let him know. Then I woke up Katrina to hear a comforting voice to calm me down. I wish she could have hugged me, but the power of her hugging spirit is so profound you can almost feel it through the phone.
I let her get back to sleep and I went back to the hospital at about 1 am. I had to enter through the ER and an armed security guard escorted me to the elevators. I went up to the 4th floor to the hospice suite (aka a regular hospital room with string lights). I met with my dad's night nurse--a lovely Haitian gentleman named Kennedy.
He escorted me into my father's room. He had prepared it to try and make me more comfortable. He made sure the room had enough light, but not overwhelmingly so. The room was spotless so I guess they must have cleaned it. They packed up my father's belongings and placed them in the corner. Kennedy had the TV set to some sort of relaxation channel. It had images of beaches, mellow music, and sounds of the ocean. Though it made it hard to hear him and I wish he had just left the TV off. Ocean sounds were not going to make seeing my dad any more pleasant. But I guess I appreciate the effort.
My dad was still in his hospital bed. They adjusted it to be perfectly flat and they covered him with the soft, fuzzy microfiber blanket I brought to help my dad be more comfortable. Hospital blankets were scratchy to his sensitive skin. His eyes were closed but his mouth was wide open. I'm wondering if they were unable to close it. My eyes kept playing tricks on me because I kept thinking I saw his chest rise and fall. Maybe my brain just wanted to believe he was just sleeping.
The nurse had me sign a document and gave me some privacy to say goodbye. Once he left I quickly turned off those damn ocean sounds. They were really distracting.
I don't really believe you can talk to the dead. So I just grabbed his belongings, pulled his fuzzy blanket off and left the room.
I guess next up is the service. I am going to try to write a eulogy tomorrow. Hopefully I can find the words to honor my dad's life.
Thank you all for helping support me through this. All of your messages and thoughts really did help make this more tolerable. And thank you for putting up with all of my bored hospital thoughts.
I guess I am going to try and get a few more hours of sleep before I start calling people in the morning. I'll have to let my dad's friends know they can't visit him.
Goodnight everyone.
Mini post about Gallagher because @pix3lplays and I were talking about him... Like we always do with these Star Rail men... Man-
We're so Normal about him I swear-
Here's a bunch of ideas and headcanons in no particular order because I cannot scrape together enough sense after seeing that official art of him to make this coherent:
Writing under the cut (dw it's SFW I just started doing this for convenience):
Leaks suggested he had a bunch of scarring on his arms and if you look closely at his hands in the official art, he has some on his hands and juuuust under some of the bandages. Imagine kissing his scars... Auuuu-
I said it before and I'll say it again he's a big ol' puppy. Big scruffy scary dog puppy man. The way he's so attentive with you and concerned for your health, safety, and wellbeing at all times. I actually don't think he'd be the biggest on PDA. However- That doesn't stop what happens when he's protective. You'd be in a crowd and in order to shield you from the hustle and bustle, he'd pull you in close with an arm wrapped around you.
He totally rubs his cheek against yours like a fuckin cat as like an affection thing but also sometimes to mess with you because it's scratchy.
Definitely has a Chair. It's His Chair. By the fireplace. But he, of course, let's you sit in it whenever he isn't sitting there. And if he is? Pats his leg to you can come sit in his lap. You two often take naps there, cuddled up with one another.
Those buttons of his are fighting for their LIVES but you aren't complaining. He jolts a little before smirking at you when you slip a hand between said buttons to feel the exposed skin there as well as plenty of what the shirt does cover.
Pix and I like to think that he's naturally warm. Whether this is because he is a fire pathstrider is up to interpretation.
Also please tell me he's another guy who just straight says run them hands his hands are his weapon-
(I wonder if we're getting a character in HSR who just straight up throws hands like "time for some fisticuffs". Because I didn't even think about it, but Stelle in the new trailer didn't have her bat or lance she was gonna like Stellaron punch someone??? Bro gimme the "run them hands" strat right NOW Hoyo- Going back to Gallagher... Like yeah I wanna watch him straight up punch someone, lolllll- And look at his left glove!!! It has those little metal thingies on the knuckles like come ON-)
Speaking of him being a big ol puppy for you... I should write about him being a cute puppo boy... ANYWAYS-
Pix talked about kissing his scruffy chin and my immediate thought was:
"Leaning up to kiss his chin because of height difference and jwefoi he just thinks it's cute and you see the way his eyes soften weoigj- I feel like he'd lean down for you only to move so he can kiss you properly at the last second. And then he would give you lil eskimo kisses and gently murmur against your lips the softest lil "my wife..." as if it's his favorite thing to say as if it's him reminding himself and being happy about it all over again weoigjwe-"
(Yes that thought was a bit more catered to me as a certified Wife, okay??? Leave me alone- OTL)
ALSO PIX WITH THEIR HUGE WRINKLY BRAIN BROUGHT UP THE IDEA OF DANCING IN THE KITCHEN WITH HIM???
So ofc I had to write a bit about it:
It's late at night and you two just finished dinner together as a sort of stay at home date. You've already cleaned the dishes together and put everything away, relishing silently in the domestic feeling of doing those tasks together.
And then suddenly he's wrapped his arms around you, nose buried in your hair as he kisses your head. Slowly, he turns you around.
One kiss... Two kisses... "Dance with me?" "I don't know how." "I'll teach you."
Tugs you forward so you can stand on his feet as the two of you sway and dance in the kitchen, the only music being the sound of your hearts that now beat in sync.
aaAAAAAAA HELP-
Anyways more about this absolute Husband of a man again at a later time goodbye iewjgo-
Savanaclaw: in Ailment
just a cutesy probably ooc leona sickfic text in italics and bold is text messages. text only in italics is thoughts.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Won't be able to make it to our breakfast date. Sorry Leona </3 will make it up to u promise! <333
Leona stares at the text with furrowed brows, his tail twisting behind him. Every little move it does speaks volumes about his confusion and worry, but no anger; he knows his darling isn't the type to cancel their dates randomly for no reason, especially one he knows you'd been really looking forward to. It had taken a while of him nagging you for you to admit you really, really wanted to try a particularly expensive but beautiful and highly-praised spot.
Expensive for you, but quite cheap for Leona. Leona, who hadn't wasted much time before he'd reserved a spot. So for you to now text him this…. It is concerning.
And then he gets another text before he can ask you why.
Sick :( don't wanna make u sick 2 :(((
Leona huffs, raising an eyebrow. Idiot. His favourite idiot, but still an idiot. If you thought he'd just simply let you be, you were sorely mistaken.
I'll swing by the doctors. Do you need any specific medicine?
(You'd laughed once, about how his formal training as a Prince shines through his texts. He always, according to you, used right spellings and punctuations.)
Noooooo!!!! stay home nd nap i can brave thru this!!!!
No, you really can't and shouldn't. Leona snorts at his own thoughts, finally pocketing his phone without answering. He's in his room already, so all he has to do is pick up a bag that contains a gift for you and then, just like he'd said he'd do, swing by the doctors to pick up some common cold and fever medicine, and then he leaves the palace.
He doesn't go to your home right away, though. He stops by a shop, picks out several ingredients all fresh and new for a chicken broth, and then he finally goes to your house; it's in a quiet neighbourhood, though your place is quite visible simply because you like having a colourful garden and vines with blooming flowers that crawl up your walls. Some of them were luminescent, so they glowed soothing shades in the night, perfect for sleeping under in your back garden.
But now isn't the time to think about that.
Leona doesn't need to knock; he has a copy of your house key, and uses that to enter your home. In the quietude and the closed drapes that leave the house dim, the only thing he can make out right away is your soothing scent, stifled by your sickness.
And then he hears your coughs, broken only by your sneeze, and he knows he has to act fast.
Chicken broth doesn't take much time to cook, so he gets working on that while simultaneously cleaning around your house… which is already clean, so he knows you'd either already done it and made yourself feel worse, or was so sick you couldn't leave your bed in the first place.
Leona sets the broth to simmer, picks up his gift bag, and climbs up the stairs to your room. “Darling? It's me, Leona.” he calls, hearing your rustling and moving in your bed before he reaches your room and sees you.
“Leona?” voice scratchy, your head pops up from the blanket you'd cocooned yourself in. Your hair was flying up in every way, and your eyes were droopy, barely awake. But you're aware enough to pout frown. “Didn't… didn't I say not to come here?”
“No.” Leona easily replies, putting his hand on your forehead. Too hot, and yet you were still shivering…. Which wasn't that much of a surprise when he sees you're only wearing a tank top and some shorts. In winter. But chiding your right now would just make you feel worse.
“Leonaaa…” You whine quietly, closing your eyes. Shivers go down your body, and you try to bury yourself more in the blanket. “So cold, so tired, so sick…”
“I know, doll,” he sighs, taking the blanket off you even when you whine again. “Come on, let's change you into something warmer and take you out of this room. The air is stale here.”
And here is where he pulls his gift out; a lion onesie, thick and fluffy and worlds warmer than your current clothes, and faintly smelling like him. Leona helps you change into it, feeling you lean against him.
“Warm,” Your whisper is soft, wiggling your toes in the onesie while Leona fixes your bedhead so tangled hair doesn't irritate you. “And soft. Comfy.”
“Good.” he replies, finished and setting the brush down. Winding his arms under your back and thighs, Leona carries you downstairs to the living room, to the couch. “When was the last time you ate?”
“Dunno… not hungry.” You sigh when he places you down, curling up immediately in his arms before he can leave to bring you the soup. “So… tired. Should've dressed warmer when I went out a few days ago.”
Leona wraps his arms around you, pulling you to rest on top of him. The house is warm now, the smell of chicken broth curling in the air and your body safe and sound in his embrace, shivers subsiding and your eyes blinking slower and slower.
“Sleep, doll.” he whispers against you, kissing her temple. His lips linger on your skin, hands massaging down your back. His magic wraps a blanket around you, freshly tumbled and dried, and he feels you melt even more against him.
 “I'll take care of you, I promise. Always.”
(Sorry my English isn’t good)💗
Thank you for the lovely request, angel! Hope you like it ❤️
Pairing: Hobie Brown x fem! Reader/ Spider-Punk x fem! Reader
Tags: no use of Y/N, no specific physical description of the reader, wrote with a female reader in mind but no pronouns used. Fluff.
ʕ·ᴥ·ʔ
Hobie comes home tired, in one piece but absolutely knackered. He feels his muscles are about to fall out of his bones from the amount of swinging he did throughout the evening. Unfortunately he also had to patrol into the early hours, thanks to the vulture who decided committing crime at dawn is the perfect time to do that. The sun already rose, bathing Spider-Man in its glow.
He finally reaches the houseboat, opening the living room's window, Hobie finds you curled on his lumpy settee, the entire place clean and free from stray mechanical parts. He's incredibly thankful for your help, but he can't help his guilt eat at him. He only wishes that he could've helped, or at least told you it wasn't necessary, but knowing you, you would've had a way in making him give in, especially when it comes to taking care of him.
Just the sight of you makes his heart swell ten fold. Hobie has missed you dearly, he's been so busy with his responsibilities that you haven't seen each other for an entire week, only having a few minutes in the day to talk, which isn't enough for the both of you. That's probably why you've waited for him to get home, ending up sleeping on his couch tired from cleaning and waiting for him.
Hobie sighs, he's already thinking of a way to thank you and make up for lost time. Walking closer, he blinks wide awake at your outfit. Or his outfit for that matter, you're wearing his old band shirt, its color fading. His boxers reveal your legs, skin on full display.
Curled like a shrimp, you groan awake at the sudden presence. Feeling you stir, Hobie takes his mask off to not scare your half asleep brain. Silently, he sits down on the floor, facing your sleepy face. You slowly open your eyes, smile spreading over your lips once your bleary eyes adjust.
"Hi" you say softly like you're trying not to wake up the rest of the city. Feeling for his gloved hand, your hand blindly reaches for him.
"Love," Hobie helps you halfway, bringing his hand over to yours, you relax once more when he cups his palm atop your own. "You look bloody fit right now"
You snort, "even if I drooled all over your pillows?"
He brings his free hand over to your upper thigh, absentmindedly rubbing your skin. Chuckling, Hobie squeezes it for good measure. "I was talking 'bout your little outfit, did you go shopping in my wardrobe?"
You wake up immediately, insecurity filling you, sitting up, you grab the blanket you've kicked off in the middle of the night to tuck your legs under it. "Sorry, should've asked first"
Hobie's brows furrowed, "you don't have to, oi" he notices your downturned gaze, "what's wrong?"
"Nothing, how's the patrol? You didn't get hurt, right?" You play with the frayed edges of the knitted blanket.
"'m fine, just tired" he takes your hand again, softly, he interlocks his fingers with yours. "Love, what's wrong? You suddenly flipped"
"I'm– it's nothing, just realized I have morning breath"
"You know for a fact I don't care 'bout that. I woke up to that a hundred times before, kissed you in the morning a hundred more. You can talk to me." he ducks to meet your gaze. His mind rushes through several thoughts, nothing good out of all of them.
You make yourself smaller on the couch. He waits while you collect your thoughts. "I-I've got stretch marks on my thighs, sorry" hiding your legs under the blanket. Maybe you should've stayed in your long trousers.
Hobie sighs in relief, cupping your thigh over the scratchy fabric. "Lovey" he says softly, staring deep into your eyes. "It's a part of you, even if you've got scales under there I'll still love every inch of you"
"This?" He squeezes your thighs for extra emphasis "there's nothing wrong with it or you, and anybody who says otherwise can kiss my arse"
You laugh, music to his ears. "Thank you, I needed to hear that"
"I've got stretch marks too. Nothin' to be ashamed of, yeah?"
"Yeah" you nod, smiling softly, laying your head atop his shoulder. Hands splayed over his back in an embrace. He reciprocates immediately, rubbing softly over your tensed muscles.
Hobie lifts you up in one swift movement, you gasp at the sudden increase in height. "Let's get you properly tucked in bed"
"Will you join me?" You say into his neck.
"Of course, after a quick shower. I reek"
"I don't care, you smell great to me"
He laughs, "sure, whatever you say, gorgeous" Hobie slaps your butt cheek for good measure.
Tumblr media
as a member of the globally renowned k-pop girl group, le sserafim, you were constantly under pressure to perform at your best.
you had always been a hard worker, but lately, you had been pushing yourself to the brink of exhaustion.
despite your friends and groupmates' concerns, you couldn't seem to slow down. you were determined to be the best you could be, no matter what the cost.
one day, after a grueling solo practice session, you collapsed on the floor, exhausted. you couldn't remember the last time you had slept properly, or even eaten a decent meal.
you were so consumed by your work that everything else had fallen by the wayside.
it wasn't until you woke up hours later that you realized where you were. you were lying on a bench in the practice room, surrounded by empty water bottles and crumpled papers.
you felt a pang of guilt as you looked around at the mess you had made. you had been so focused on your work that you hadn't even bothered to clean up after yourself.
you tried to sit up, but your body was too weak. you slumped back down onto the bench, feeling defeated.
that's when you heard a familiar voice. "hey, are you okay?"
you looked up to see yunjin, one of your bandmates, standing in front of you. she looked worried, her brow furrowed with concern.
you tried to say something, but your throat was dry and scratchy. you coughed weakly, and yunjin reached for a water bottle and handed it to you.
"here," she said. "drink this."
you took a few sips of water, feeling it soothe your parched throat. "thanks," you managed to croak out.
yunjin sat down next to you on the bench, her expression softening. "you've been overworking yourself," she said gently. "we're all worried about you. the girls are still up at home, wondering where you are."
you felt a wave of shame wash over you. you knew yunjin was right. you had been pushing yourself too hard, and it was starting to show, worrying your fellow members in the process.
"i'm sorry," you said, tears prickling at the corners of your eyes. "i just...i wanted to be enough for you guys. be able to stand on stage proudly next to all of you.."
yunjin put a hand on your shoulder, squeezing it gently. "you’re more than enough" she said firmly. "but you need to take care of yourself, y/n. you can't keep pushing yourself like this."
you nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over you. you had been so caught up in your own work that you hadn't realized how much you needed someone to take care of you.
yunjin helped you to your feet, her arm around your waist for support. "come on," she said. "let's get you out of here."
as you walked towards the door, you felt your legs wobbling beneath you. you leaned on yunjin for support, feeling embarrassed and weak.
but yunjin didn't seem to mind. she wrapped an arm around your waist, holding you up as you stumbled towards her car.
once you were safely in the passenger seat, yunjin turned to you. "do you want to go home?" she asked.
you shook your head. "not yet," you said. "i don't think i can face everyone right now. can we just...drive around for a bit?"
yunjin nodded, starting the car and pulling out of the parking lot. you watched as the buildings whizzed by, feeling a sense of calm wash over you. yunjin's presence was soothing, and you were grateful to have her by your side.
as you drove around aimlessly, you felt yourself drifting off to sleep. the exhaustion was catching up to you , and soon you were sound asleep again, your head resting against the window.
Tumblr media
yunjin glanced over at you, her heart swelling with affection. she couldn't help but feel protective of you, knowing how hard you worked and how much pressure you put on yourself.
as the car continued to move, yunjin’s thoughts turned to the future. she knew that she couldn't always be there to catch you when you fell.
you needed to learn to take care of yourself, to find balance and rest when you needed it.
but for now, she was content to drive around with you, letting you sleep and offering her support when you needed it most.
after a while, yunjin pulled into a quiet park and turned off the engine. she turned to you, gently shaking your shoulder. "hey," she said softly. "we're here."
you blinked blearily, looking around at the peaceful surroundings. "where are we?" you asked, still feeling a little groggy.
"it's a park," yunjin said. "i used to come here when i needed some peace and quiet."
you nodded, feeling a sense of gratitude towards yunjin for bringing you here. you stepped out of the car and followed her towards a nearby bench, where you sat down and leaned back against the cool metal.
for a while, you two sat in comfortable silence, watching as the world went by. the sun was starting to set, casting long shadows across the grass. the air was cool and refreshing, a welcome change from the stuffy practice room
as the darkness started to descend, yunjin turned to you. "are you feeling better?" she asked.
you nodded, feeling a sense of peace settling over you. "yeah," you said. "thank you, yunjin. i don't know what I would do without you."
yunjin smiled, her eyes crinkling at the corners. "you don't have to thank me," she said. "i'm just doing what good friends do."
you smiled back, feeling grateful for the bond you shared with yunjin.
Tumblr media
as the night deepened and the stars twinkled overhead, you and yunjin continued to talk, sharing stories and memories.
you talked about your childhood, your dreams, and your hopes for the future. you opened up to yunjin in a way that you didn't often do with others, feeling a sense of comfort and trust that you didn't feel with many people.
yunjin listened intently, her gaze fixed on you as you spoke. she felt a sense of pride and admiration for you, knowing how hard you worked and how much you sacrificed for your passion.
she couldn't imagine what it must be like to be in your shoes, to have the weight of the world on your shoulders every day.
as the conversation started to wind down, yunjin suddenly turned to you, her face flushed and her eyes darting nervously. gone was her cool, hot girl persona.
"hey, can I tell you something?" she asked, her voice cracking a little.
you looked at her with concern, wondering what was on her mind. "of course, what is it?" you asked, trying to sound reassuring.
yunjin took a deep breath, her hands fidgeting nervously in her lap. "um, well, you know how we've been spending a lot of time together lately?" she asked, her voice trailing off uncertainly.
you nodded, wondering where this was going. "yes, we have. what's on your mind, yunjin?" you prompted gently.
yunjin looked up at you, her cheeks turning a bright shade of red. "i just wanted to say that, um, i really like you. like, a lot. and i know it might be weird, since we're both in the same group and all, but i just had to tell you," she said, her voice growing more confident with each word.
you couldn't help but smile at her nervousness, feeling a sense of fondness for your dorky, yet thoughtful bandmate.
"yunjin, that's really sweet of you," you said, reaching over to squeeze her hand. "and i like you too, you know. like you as more than a friend."
yunjin’s face lit up at your words, and she let a serene smile grace her face. yunjin took initiative and intertwined her hands with yours, a comfortable silence washing over the two of you again.
that is, until yunjin breaks it. "i want you to promise me something," she said, her gaze resting on yours..
you looked at her, sensing the gravity of her words. "what is it?" you asked.
"i want you to promise me that you'll take care of yourself," yunjin said. "that you won't push yourself too hard, or sacrifice your health for your dreams."
you felt a lump form in your throat, touched by yunjin's concern. "i promise," you said, your voice barely above a whisper.
yunjin smiled, a relieved expression crossing her features. "good," she said. "because I don't want to see you burn out. you're too important to me, to the group, and to your fans."
you nodded, feeling a sense of gratitude towards yunjin for caring so much about you. how did you ever manage to get so lucky?
you knew that she was right, that you needed to find a balance between your passion and your health.
as you and yunjin headed back to the car, you felt a sense of peace settling over you. you knew that there would be more hard days and long nights, but you also knew that you had yunjin by your side, ready to catch you when you fell.
Tumblr media
as the car pulled up to the dorm, yunjin turned to you, her eyes full of warmth and affection. "i'm proud of you," she said. "for everything that you've accomplished, and for everything that you will accomplish in the future."
you felt a lump form in your throat for the third time that night, touched by her words. "thank you, yunjin," you said. "i couldn't have done any of this without you."
yunjin smiled, her eyes crinkling at the corners. "you could have," she said. "you’re just that amazing.”
you both laughed, feeling a sense of lightness and joy in the air. you watch as the moonlight highlights yunjin’s beautiful features, her eyes shining even in the dead of night.
feeling captivated by her, you start to lean in.
*bzzt*
you feel a buzz in the pocket of your hoodie, a familiar ringtone playing soon after.
you huff in frustration as yunjin giggles softly. you take your phone out of your hoodie pocket, revealing 4 missed messages and 1 missed call from chaewon, your groups leader.
you call her back, chaewon’s high pitched voice frighteningly deeper than usual.
“where are you two?” chaewon interreogated.
“we’re outside, we’re just about to come in.” you reply back, feeling a little scared as to what was to come for you and yunjin after heading inside.
you hear chaewon sigh on the other side of the, with sakura’s faint voice behind her. “hurry up then, it’s 12 am, curfew’s at 11. you should both know this by now.”
with that, chaewon hung up on you.
you turn to yunjin, who had an amused grin on her face. you stared at her while she stared right back at you.
yunjin leaned in, kissing your forehead. “let’s head back inside?”
your face brightened after her kiss, “yeah, let’s go.”
Coughs racked your whole body, something rough and abrasive scratching your face as your body jerked with each wheeze.
"Hey, lady." An unfamiliar voice called.
You groaned, your eyes screwing shut as a bright light nearly blinded you.
You managed to lift your head as your eyes peeled open, squinting in the harsh sunlight. A dull ache became present near the back of your skull as you glanced around, taking in your surroundings. You quickly came to the realization that you were on a beach, but you weren't sure how you got there.
"Lady?"
There's that voice again.
A pair of scuffed, black leather boots were planted in the sand nearby. Your eyes followed up the person's body to their face. A man was standing over you, his thick brows knit together as he stared down at you.
"Thank goodness. Are you alright?" He asked.
"I..." You trailed off. "I think so."
Your throat burned, the words scratching your windpipe like broken shells. Your hair was frizzy and stuck together, the tangled strands hanging in your face as you stared off in the distance. Your skin felt sticky and gross. Grains of sand were stuck all over you, including on your clothes which were rubbing harshly against your flesh whenever you moved.
"What's going on over there?" A new voice called, catching your attention.
A tall, slim man walked over, his long coat flapping behind him as he approached.
"I found this girl passed out here." The man answered.
The tall one glanced down at you before crouching in the sand.
"What's your name?" He asked, his caring and gentle, brown eyes gazing at you with concern.
"Y/n." You answered, wincing when you felt a burning sensation in your throat.
"Do you know how you got here?"
You shook your head.
"Are you hurt anywhere?"
The man's voice was deep, but his tone was so incredibly warm and comforting. It gave you a sense of trust, even though you didn't know him.
"I don't think so, but my head hurts." You internally cringed at the sound of your own voice. It sounded so weak and scratchy.
"Let me see. Can you sit up?"
You nodded, pushing yourself into a sitting position and allowing the man to examine your head.
"Oh."
That doesn't sound good.
"You've got a pretty big bump on the back of your head. Do you remember what happened?"
"No. I don't."
"Well, that's common for people with head injuries."
"Captain." The man who found you spoke up. "What do we do?"
"We're going to bring her with us. We can't just leave her here."
The man previously referred to as captain, turned to you with those same gentle eyes.
"Will you come with us?"
You nodded your head. Seeing as you didn't know any places to go, this seemed like the best option.
"Come on, then. I'll help you up."
The man placed his hands under your arms and hoisted you to your feet.
"My name is Mingi, by the way. Captain Mingi."
"Are you a pirate?" is what you wanted to ask but thanks to your voice giving out slightly, it came out like, "You pirate?"
"I am. You should keep the talking to a minimum until we get back on the ship. Sounds like your throat is pretty dry."
Mingi and his crew mate helped get you onto the ship where you were taken to the sick bay.
"This is Yeonjun. He's the doctor on the ship."
The young male gave a friendly smile.
"She's got a bump on her head. I need you to take care of that and get her cleaned up." Mingi told him.
"Yes, captain."
"Oh, and get her some water."
"Will do, captain."
"Yeonjun will take good care of you. I'll be back later to check in. Will you be alright?"
You trusted the kind captain, nodding your head in understanding. The doctor led you to a small cot, guiding you to sit down.
"Let me get you that water." He moved over to a cabinet, retrieving a large bottle and a small bowl, pouring some of the bottled contents into it.
"Here you go. Drink that."
You took the bowl from him, sniffing the liquid.
"It's water. There's a little rum and lime in it to keep it fresh. It'll hydrate you."
You took a couple small sips, allowing the liquid to slide down your dry throat and refresh it. After that, you downed the rest of it, setting the empty bowl aside.
"Do you feel better?" Yeonjun questioned.
You nodded.
"Good. Now, let me check out your head."
You allowed him to move your hair around and feel over your scalp.
"Oh. That's quite a bump. It seems like you cut your head as well."
"It hurts."
"I know." He frowned. "But you'll be alright. I just need to clean the wound."
Your eyes followed him as he moved busily around the small room, gathering bottles of liquids and pieces of cloth. He set the items aside and opened up one of the bottles, getting some of the clear liquid on a cloth.
"This is alcohol. It should disinfect the wound. I should warn you, though. It might hurt."
You nodded, sitting still as he pressed the cloth against the back of your head. A hiss immediately left your mouth as the alcohol-soaked rag made contact with your injury.
"I'm so sorry. Just hang in there." Yeonjun apologized.
You bit your lip, trying to bear the pain, just waiting for it to be over.
"What's your name?" He asked, trying to distract you.
"Y/n."
"Ah. Y/n. That's a nice name."
"Thank you." You said through gritted teeth.
"You're lucky captain found you. He's a very compassionate person."
"He seems like it."
The burning on the back of your head lasted for a few seconds before subsiding.
"Alright. Done." Yeonjun announced. "You did really good."
He grabbed a jar of an unknown substance and a small square of white fabric, as well as some sort of wrapping. You sat still as he got to work, opening the jar.
"This is a healing ointment I made with herbs. It should heal that cut in a few days." Yeonjun told you as he applied the ointment.
He grabbed the square of fabric and placed it on the back of your head before wrapping a strip of linen around your head.
"Sorry if that's uncomfortable. I have to do that so pressure is applied to that cut."
"It's okay. I trust that you know what you're doing."
Yeonjun gave you a warm smile. "I'm glad you feel that way."
Your eyes followed him as he carried the bottles of liquid and other medicines back to the cabinet they came from.
"I'll need to monitor you for 3 hours and make sure you don't have any other symptoms." He mentioned.
Mingi returned to the sick bay a short time later to check on you.
"Feeling better?"
You nodded. "Yeonjun took good care of me."
"Good."
"I'm gonna need to keep a check on her for 3 hours. Make sure she doesn't fall asleep." Yeonjun told the captain.
"Will do." He then turned to you. "Would you like to go out on the deck and walk around for a little while?"
You nodded, getting to your feet. Yeonjun stood close by to make sure you didn't wobble or fall over as you stood up and made your way to Mingi.
"I got it from here." He assured the medic.
Your bare feet hit the wooden deck that had been warmed by the midday sun. It felt pleasant, unlike that unbearably hot sand you woke up on. Just then, a scruffy-looking three-legged dog ran past you, causing you to let out a yelp.
"Beast!" You shrieked leaping into Mingi's arms.
The pirate captain did his best to catch you, confused by your reaction.
"Beast?" He repeated with furrowed brows.
Yeonjun, who was walking by, chuckled at your reaction.
"That's just Lucky." He mentioned. "He won't hurt you."
"Lucky?" You questioned.
"He's our dog." Mingi added. "There's nothing to worry about. He's just a pet."
"A pet?" You inquired softly as you got back on your feet.
"Yeah. An animal you keep for company."
"So, he's not dangerous?" You asked.
"No. Look." He crouched down and held his hand out to the animal.
You watched warily as the dog approached him, giving his hand a couple licks. Mingi then started petting the dog's head, scratching behind his ears a few times.
"You try." He urged you, gently.
You hesitantly crouched down, reaching your hand out to the dog, allowing him to sniff it. You then started running your hand over the top of the animal's head, continuing for a few moments before pulling away.
"See? He's friendly." Mingi smiled, his eyes crinkling.
You returned the smile, nodding.
"Come on. Let me show you to your room." Mingi beckoned.
You followed him into the ship and down a hallway lined with many doors. He stopped at one of them, twisting the knob. Inside was a bed and some small pieces of furniture. The room was compact, but cozy.
"Thank you." You told Mingi.
"Of course. You're welcome to spend some time in here if you ever get bored hanging out on the deck all day, though I think that's impossible. Me and my crew are rather entertaining." He grinned. "You can even take a nap if you want to, but not for 3 hours. I have to get the okay from Yeonjun before you can go to sleep."
"Right." You nodded.
"In the meantime, I can give you a tour of the ship."
"I'd like that."
"Alright. Follow me."
You maneuvered out of the sleeping quarters and down a set of steps, moving further into the ship. Once at the bottom of the stairs, you were met with a vast room full of tables and chairs.
"This is the galley. We have all our meals here."
"What do you eat?"
"Different things. It all depends on what we got from the towns we docked at. Usually we eat fish and some type of bread if we have it or soup. If we're lucky, we get meat. That's our favorite. Fruit is another common thing we get, but we have to eat it quickly or else it goes bad. Same goes for vegetables."
"How many meals to you eat a day?"
"Three, but some of us come in here to snack, if we have enough rations, of course."
On the way to the next room, you passed by the sick bay where you were first taken to.
"You've already seen the sick bay." Mingi commented.
"Do you have to use it very often?"
"Not often, but if someone ends up getting sick or injured, we do. I think me and my crew are lucky. Everyone has managed to stay in decent health and keep themselves safe during any battles."
"Battles?"
He nodded. "Sometimes we have enemy ships that come and attack us."
You frowned slightly at that.
Mingi seemed so nice. How could anyone want to hurt him or attack his ship?
The captain seemed to notice your expression. He smiled, lightly resting his hand on top of your head, careful not to hurt you.
"Don't look so sad. It's not often that we get attacked." He assured you.
"Why?"
"Why?" He repeated.
"Why do other people attack you?"
"Because they can. That's how piracy works. Sometimes pirates steal from pirates if they can't get the things they need from pillaging towns. Me and my crew try to barter and trade with merchants and fisherman when we dock. I try not to steal from people unless they deserve it."
"How do you determine if someone deserves to be stolen from?" You inquired.
"Lots of things. If they're cruel to the less fortunate, greedy with their money, or just bad people in general."
You found that admirable and maybe even a little heroic. Giving bad people what they deserve.
The next place Mingi took you to was the cargo hold. He explained that's where nonperishable or long-lasting items are kept, including weapons, rope, or other supplies that might be needed on the ship. You were surprised at how well-stocked it was, wondering how many stops it took to accumulate this much stuff.
After Mingi showed you around, you were taken back onto the main deck of the ship where his crew was hard at work, bustling about the deck.
"What do you use these for?" You asked, pointing to a stack of black spheres.
"Those are cannonballs. We put them into the cannons and shoot them at enemy ships."
You thought back to what Mingi said about sometimes being attacked.
"Don't they just end up at the bottom of the ocean?"
"Ah." He paused for a moment. "They do. I never really thought about that."
There was a brief silence before Mingi spoke up again.
"Hey, you wanna see the view from the forecastle deck?"
You nodded, excitedly, allowing the captain to lead you across the expanse of wooden boards and up a shallow set of steps that led to a slightly higher deck, a steering wheel situated right in the middle.
Mingi approached the helm, standing in front of it as he cast his eyes upon the horizon, the bright midday sun reflecting off the water's surface.
"This is my view." He smiled to himself. "Come here. I want to show you something."
He moved to the furthest point of the forecastle deck, right at the head of the ship. You rested your hands on the rails, leaning forward and peering over the edge to watch the bow of the ship cut through the waters. The salty smell of the ocean was comforting and the feeling of the strong sea breeze blowing through your hair was refreshing and invigorating. You were glad you ended up on this ship. If Mingi hadn't found you, you weren't sure what would have happened.
"Captain."
Mingi turned to see who'd called for him, spotting his cook standing at the top of the steps.
"Yes?"
"It's nearing the evening. Should I start preparing dinner?" The man asked.
"That's a good idea. Our guest Y/n hasn't had anything to eat since coming onto the ship. Make sure you prepare something delicious."
"Yes, captain." He gave a nod, turning on his heel and moving back down the stairs.
"I hope you're hungry." Mingi faced you.
"I am."
"I'm glad to hear that. You know, not every ship is lucky enough to have a cook like ours. He's good at what he does."
"His cooking isn't bad, I presume?"
"Not in the slightest. The food served on pirate ships is usually satisfactory, but the food served here is on another level."
Later that day, the dinner bell rang, beckoning the crew to the galley.
Mingi excitedly pulled you into the large room, helping to fix your plate as he spoke quietly to himself about how hungry he was and how amazing the soup looked.
He led you over to a table, pulling a chair out for you before sitting down next to you.
"This smells amazing." He commented before digging in.
You grabbed the small piece of bread that was served with the soup and took a few bites. It was really good. You hadn't realized how hungry you were until that moment.
You glanced down at the utensils next to your bowl of soup, your thoughts muddled and jumbled. Blinking a few times, you tried to remember how to use them, your mind going blank. Your eyes moved around the room at the other pirates, scanning over to Mingi who had one of the utensils in his hand, his cheeks stuffed with bread. He gave you a cute smile, his eyes crinkled in the most adorable way.
You returned the smile, moving to pick up the utensil he had, using it to spoon some of the soup out of the bowl, pausing to look down at it, wondering if you were doing it correctly.
"Don't worry." Mingi assured you. "It's not as bad as you think it is. Remember I told you our cook is really good at what he does."
You nodded, thinking back on what he said earlier.
Mingi watched as you daintily slurped the soup from the spoon, finding it utterly endearing. His heart did front flips in his chest any time you did, well, anything. You were so undeniably adorable and he wanted nothing more than to keep you safe and happy.
The sun was soon replaced by the pearly crescent moon as night took the place of day. After getting a decent meal on your stomach, you'd begun to feel drowsy, opting to sit on the deck and rest against one of the crates sitting around. Mingi made sure to linger nearby, walking around the deck, checking on his crew while also keeping an eye on you.
Yeonjun was headed back to the sick bay when the captain stopped him.
"Have you checked on Y/n?" He asked.
The medic paused, glancing across the deck to where you sat.
"I've been watching her throughout the day. She's alright."
"Can you check on her one more time? It looks like she's getting tired." Mingi mentioned, seeming worried.
"She's had a rough day. I'm sure she's ready to go to bed, but I'll go check on her."
Yeonjun headed across the deck, crouching down beside you.
"How are you feeling?"
"Not bad. My head is a little sore where I bumped it, but besides that I'm feeling alright."
"That's good to hear. You seem sleepy."
"I am." You nodded, letting out a yawn. "It's been a long day."
"Well, you're free to rest whenever you want."
"That's great news." You smiled, sleepily.
"If you get to feeling bad, come get me."
You nodded, your eyelids drooping further.
The medic stood up and went to deliver the news to Mingi who was immensely relieved.
"I should probably get her to bed."
"That's a good idea. She said it's been a long day." Yeonjun mentioned.
You were beginning to doze off, your body starting to slump over as you slipped closer to sleep. Before you could tip any further, Mingi caught you, startling you awake.
"Hey."
"Hi." You murmured.
"You should probably go to bed."
You nodded with closed eyes as he pulled you to your feet, escorting you down into the ship where the crew's sleeping quarters was located.
Mingi had a brief internal battle with himself as he accompanied you to your bedroom, not wanting to leave you alone. He wanted to keep you close so he could watch over you, but he pushed that need away, opening the door.
You blinked sleepily as you shuffled towards your bed, which Mingi helped you in, pulling the thin covers up over you.
The pirate hesitated for a moment, standing by the bed, gazing down at you as you nuzzled your face into the pillow. A few moments passed before Mingi slowly began to step away, pausing as he stood in the doorway for a second to get one last look at you before he finally closed the door.
It had been four days since you first boarded the ship and you were feeling a bit useless just wandering around with Mingi and following him like a lost puppy, so you offered to help out. If you were going to be staying on this ship, you wanted to be of some assistance. Mingi gave you small, easy tasks here and there to keep you occupied, which you appreciated greatly. It was nice to feel like you were doing something. He would ask you to grab maps for him, bring an extra candle over to his desk, and even fetch him a cup of tea or a glass of water from the galley when he was up late writing in his journals.
It was a quiet day on the ship and you were spending it on the forecastle deck, leaned over the railing watching the water below as the giant sea vessel sailed forward.
"Y/n?" Mingi called.
You lifted your head, glancing over your shoulder. "Yes?"
He jerked his head, gesturing for you to come over. You listened, walking over to the captain.
"Would you like to steer?" He offered.
"Me?"
"Yes."
Your eyes moved to the massive wheel as you chewed the inside of your cheek in thought.
"There's no need to worry. You have the whole ocean to yourself." He gestured to the vast expanse of water before you. "Plus, I'll be right here."
It was then that you nodded your head, ultimately agreeing to steer the ship for a few moments.
"Put your hands here like this." Mingi showed you what he was doing before stepping away so you could do the same.
Stepping forward, you placed your hands on the wheel just as he did, your fingers immediately gripping the wood once you felt the slight force of the wheel trying to turn on its own.
"It's okay." Mingi assured you, coming to stand behind you, his hands hovering over your own, ready to step in. "Just keep it steady."
You nodded, readjusting your footing and tightening your arms, making sure to keep a firm grip on the wheel.
"Good." Mingi praised, making sure to continue standing behind you in case he needed to step in and assist.
At some point, your arms began to get a bit shaky thanks to you not having much energy. That's when Mingi placed his hands on yours, his fingers curling around your own as his chest pressed against your back. The feeling sent a rush of heat to your cheeks.
"It's okay. I got it." He assured you, his voice low, breath fanning your ear as he spoke.
You suppressed the shiver that threatened to go down your spine in an attempt to ground yourself.
"Just keep it steady." He instructed, his voice once again so close to your ear.
Your fingers tightened around the wheel in response to him practically whispering in your ear.
You cleared your throat, pulling your hands away from the wheel, causing Mingi to back off.
"That was fun." You gave him a smile, trying to hide the fact that you were flustered beyond belief, stepping off to the side so Mingi could steer the ship on his own again.
Just then, Yeonjun stepped onto the forecastle deck, letting out an "Ah!" when he spotted you, pausing to greet his captain.
"Afternoon."
Mingi gave a nod in response.
"Y/n, I was looking for you." Yeonjun stepped forward. "It's been a few days since you were brought here. I was just wondering if your memories have come back yet."
You shook your head, giving him a half smile.
"Well, I'm sure they'll come back soon enough. In some cases, amnesia can last weeks. Sometimes months."
Your eyebrows creased with worry upon hearing that, to which Yeonjun hurried to console you, backpedaling.
"There's no need to worry." He assured you. "The chances of your amnesia lasting a month or more is very slim."
"Stop freaking her out, Yeonjun." Mingi said sternly. "She has enough going on."
"Apologies, captain. I didn't mean to."
"So, when do you think they'll return?" You question, anxiously tugging at the sleeves of your shirt.
"There's really no way to tell, but I would assume within the next week."
You nodded. "I hope so."
The medic gave you a small smile, patting your shoulder before exiting the area.
Mingi was watching from the helm, noticing the way you became flooded with anxiety, your arms wrapping around your form as you stared off, your eyes wide with worry. Seeing you like that made his insides twist uncomfortably. Not having your memories was stressful enough, the last thing you needed was to worry about them not returning for an extended period of time. He needed to provide a distraction.
Luck was on his side because right at that moment, an opportunity made itself available as the pirate captain spotted something in the water.
"Y/n, look!" Mingi pointed, leaning over the railing at the side of the ship, so much so that it looked like he was about to go overboard.
You followed his finger, spotting a small pod of dolphins swimming close to the water's surface, popping above the waves ever so often.
"Dolphins." You beamed.
"Aren't they amazing?" Mingi marveled.
"They are."
The most adorable giggles escaped the pirate's beautiful lips as he watched the aquatic creatures below. The sound makes your heart leap in your chest, a warm feeling bubbling up inside you.
"I'm usually busy steering the ship or doing other things, so it's a rare occurrence for me to see dolphins." He mentioned. "Oh! I've been practicing my dolphin impression. Would you like to hear it?"
You nodded, enthusiastically.
He cleared his throat, straightening his posture before placing one of his fingers on his ear and letting out a high-pitched noise that only vaguely resembled the nautical mammal.
Laughter erupted from you, shaking your body and making you clutch your stomach. You watched as the dolphins moved fluidly through the water, not paying attention to his lackluster, but funny, impersonation.
"Let me try!" You hopped excitedly in place.
You proceeded to do your best impersonation of the dolphins, making high-pitched noises akin to his, but higher, accompanied with clicking sounds. You watched as a few of them jumped gracefully out of the water in response, a few clicks resounding in the air.
Mingi turned to you with wide, childlike eyes glimmering in astonishment and adoration.
"Wow! You're really good!" He beamed.
You rubbed the back of your neck, feeling a bit shy at his praises.
You didn't even realize all your worries had dissipated, your mind now more focused on the bubbly and charming dolphins, watching them until they descended deeper into the water where you couldn't see them anymore.
Mingi couldn't help but smile seeing the way your face lit up with exuberance.
"You know, dolphins aren't the only aquatic creatures I've come across while sailing this ship." He mentioned.
"Really?"
"Of course. I've seen sea turtles, manta rays, and sharks, just to name a few."
You let out a quiet gasp. "Sharks?"
He nodded.
"It's amazing how you can see so many wonderful sea creatures. It must be fun sailing the seas and living life however you want." You commented.
"It is. I'd much rather be at sea than be on land. I wouldn't trade this life for anything."
As he spoke, you could see the way his eyes gleamed with both excitement and admiration. Not only did he enjoy being a pirate, but you could tell he belonged here at sea, on this ship with his crew.
The moonlight streamed in through the small porthole in your room, the beam so bright it illuminated the compact space of your sleeping quarters. You were restless and unable to go to sleep, too busy thinking about, well, everything. Your memories, or lack thereof, Mingi, not knowing what happened to you or how you ended up on the beach. It was driving you mad.
Did you wreck on a ship? Were you a prisoner tossed overboard? Or did you make a daring escape by jumping into the water? Were you a bad person? There were so many possibilities, so many scenarios swirling around in your mind.
Abruptly sitting up in bed, you swung your legs off the side, your bare feet hitting the floor as you stood up and silently exited your sleeping quarters, slipping down the corridor.
The ship was eerily quiet, only the soft creaking of the vessel could be heard as you tiptoed up the steps and out onto the deck, the cool night air greeting you by caressing your face and blowing gently through your hair.
The luminous stars glimmered above you as you sat on the forecastle deck, your legs resting comfortably between the wooden posts as your feet dangled over the side of the ship. The half moon shone down on the dark waters, reflecting off the surface and highlighting the shallow crests of the waves. Your eyes moved to the incandescent stars above as you hummed a tune to yourself, looking for patterns in the space above, sometimes being able to spot a line of stars.
The soft shuffling of boots against the deck caught your attention, putting your humming to an abrupt stop. When you turned around you saw Mingi with a distant look on his face.
"Mingi? What are you doing up?"
He blinked a couple times, glancing over at you. "I was sorting maps. What are you doing up?"
"Couldn't sleep."
"Me either. That's why I was sorting maps. I figured if I wasn't able to sleep, why not be productive?"
You chuckled lightly. "Would you like to join me?"
"I'd love to. I could use a break."
He walked over, grunting as he took a seat beside you, leaning back to rest on his elbows.
"The stars are pretty tonight."
You hummed in response.
"The sky is nice and clear." He added, waiting for you to comment.
When he didn't receive one, he turned to look at you for a moment, noticing the way you were staring distantly at the dark waters, your muddled mind drifting far away.
"You feeling alright?" He asked, cutting through the silence.
You blinked out of your daze before answering. "Yeah, I'm fine. I just have a lot on my mind."
Mingi nodded knowingly.
"It's driving me crazy not knowing what happened to me." You continued.
"Can I make a suggestion?"
"I'll take any advice or suggestions you can give."
"Take it one day at a time and try to stop thinking so hard about all this. The more you think about it, the more you'll stress and that's the last thing you need."
The way he spoke to you made your heart swell. He said it with such sincerity and emotion.
"You really care for me, don't you?"
Mingi's brows raised, the expression on his face dropping in surprise.
"Well..." He chuckled nervously. "Yes. I just don't like seeing you so wound up and tense. It's bad enough what happened to you, there's no need for any more stress. I want you to enjoy your time here on my ship and take it easy."
Hearing that somehow took a weight off your shoulders you didn't know you were carrying. It was reassuring and something you needed to hear. He was right. Why keep worrying when you can just have a good time and let everything happen when it happens?
Mingi sat up and turned to look at you, his usually sharp and narrow eyes were round and soft, sparkling in the moonlight, looking almost childlike. The endearing sight made your heart thump a bit faster. Your gaze moved down to his narrow nose that came to a delicate point that you could see when he was facing the side, then down to his lips that were full and plump, begging you to kiss them and drawing you in.
His eyes were trained on you as well, taking in every detail of your face. You were beautiful, so alluring but so innocent and sweet. Before he could catch himself, he was leaning in, slowly moving closer to you, the space between your lips diminishing until you could feel his breath fanning against your face. Your eyelids began to flutter as you prepared for the kiss only for Mingi to place his lips on your forehead.
"You should probably go try to get some sleep." He murmured.
Though you would have preferred a kiss on the lips, one on the forehead was enough to set your cheeks aflame. All you could do was nod, your mind having been turned to mush by a simple forehead kiss.
Standing up, you blinked a few times, murmuring a goodnight to Mingi as you went back to your sleeping quarters, your mind reeling.
The awkward tension lingering in the atmosphere was thick the following day, that kiss still hanging over your mind like a thick fog. You could hardly look Mingi in the eye without getting flustered. However, you did your best to push all that aside, making an attempt to go on with your day like normal.
Said captain was trying to do the same, unable to wipe the image of himself kissing your forehead from his mind.
I shouldn't have done that. He thought to himself.
In the moment, he though it was a good idea, but now that he's thinking back on it, replaying the scene over and over, regret is washing over him in waves. He shouldn't have done anything at all.
The aim was to kiss you on the lips, but he changed his mind at the last second after it dawned on him that you could possibly have a boyfriend and not remember. Mingi wanted so desperately to place his lips on yours, but he couldn't. He couldn't allow himself to be selfish like that. Forcing himself to stop thinking about himself and his own needs, he tried to cover up his flub by placing a kiss on your forehead.
Your reaction continued to flash in his mind, making his heart clench and his stomach twist.  You were surprised, your eyes wide, clearly not expecting him to do that. It was hard for him to tell if his actions weirded you out or not.
You'd been awkward all morning, but to be fair, so was he.
You were petting Lucky when you saw Mingi approach the railing of the ship, feeling around his coat pocket for his telescope. This made you stand up and walk over.
"There's a storm coming." He stated as he gazed out at the expanse of dark clouds looming over the ocean.
"Scary." You mumbled, watching the ominous mass of bleak clouds.
"It can be, but I've got a ruthless crew who knows what to do during storms like these. I've ridden out many storms on this ship, so there's nothing to worry about."
You nodded, hoping he was right.
Your nerves began to build as the clouds got thicker and darker, the ship seemingly moving closer to them. You knew the best thing to do was to look away and focus on something else, but your gaze kept drifting to the stormy cluster of baleful clouds, an uneasy feeling settling in the pit of your stomach.
"Alright, men!" Mingi called out. "We're gonna do what we always do, keep to the the right side of the storm if we can. If not, I'll need all hands on deck. We've been through this before, so I know you all are aware of what has to be done if that were to happen."
"Yes, captain!" They chorused.
You had never seen him so serious before. His tone was stern, his voice deep and commanding, echoing across the deck. His usual soft and gentle eyes were sharp and laser focused, ensuring his crew was doing everything to prepare for this storm.
The pirate crew moved expeditiously around the expanse of the ship adjusting the sails and tying things down hastily. All you could do was watch, your nerves building. Based on the way your body was reacting to this impending weather, you assumed you had a fear of storms. Of course, you didn't know that for a fact.
It wasn't long before the winds picked up, howling as they whipped viciously around you. You knew immediately that the storm was going to escalate at a rapid rate, which only heightened your uneasiness. Raindrops started pitter-pattering on the deck, the drizzle only lasting for a few brief moments before they started to fall at a faster rate, multiplying quickly and hitting you like sharp bullets
"Hurry!" Mingi shouted over the roar of the rain, hurrying to the helm to steer the ship away from the storm. "Quickly, quickly!"
The ship lurched, creaking loudly each time the tumultuous waters pushed it, rocking it from side to side. The unsteady flooring beneath your feet caused you to wobble, grabbing onto the nearest object which just so happened to be the main mast. Inexplicable fear rushed through your veins making your whole body run cold, the feeling of being caught in a bad storm feeling all too familiar.
You blinked, brief flashes of memories making themselves known as you watched the violent waves and the sheets of rain that pounded the deck.
Your body being tossed around under the waves as you flailed your arms wildly, trying to fight back against the forceful waters that even you weren't strong enough to swim through.
Your hand unconsciously came up to touch the back of your head where the healing gash was, a phantom ache present.
You were feeling disoriented, unable to focus as your memories resurface, rushing in like a tidal wave and leaving you in a daze.
In these ephemeral flashes of memories you saw a deep blue tail in the turbulent waters. Your tail.
A horrified gasp escaped you, your hands trembling as they clamped over your mouth, your eyes darting rapidly around. You unconsciously started to back up, wanting to run away and hide somewhere.
You shouldn't be here.
In the midst of your freak out, Mingi grabs you and pulls you in to his quarters, startling you out of your stupor.
You don't even hear him say, "Come on. What are you doing out here?"
It was when he sat you down on his bed that you let out a shrill scream, scrambling away from him in a panic.
"Hey. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." He apologized profusely, holding his hands up in a placating manner. "I didn't mean to startle you."
Your eyes began to water as you curled in on yourself, these memories flooding in and making you realize how dire your situation is.
"You're safe." He assured you. "It's just a storm. Nothing to worry about."
Your body was trembling. Mingi, who was ignorant to the fact that your memories had returned, merely thought you were acting this way because of the storm.
"Come here." He beckoned softly, holding his hand out as he took a seat on the bed.
You were slowly starting to get your bearings, calming down from your little panic spell.
Mingi is safe. You reminded yourself.
He's been nothing but kind to you since the day you met him. Pirate or not, there's no reason to be afraid of him.
Once he saw your guard was let down, Mingi neared you, taking your hand and pulling you closer. You allowed him to do so as he brought you to him, drawing you into his embrace. Your body relaxed immediately as you allowed your body to go slack, letting Mingi hold you, rubbing soothing circles on your back.
"It's okay." He cooed, his deep voice rumbling in his chest when he spoke. "It'll be over soon."
Your fingers wrapped around the collar of his coat, your eyes squeezing shut as you recalled the events prior to your accident.
You were a siren, one that was swimming too close to the shore when a bad storm hit. Your body was thrust around under the waves, being tossed around like a rag doll. The undertow mixed with the winds making the waters more violent, you ended up bumping your head on a rock that essentially knocked you unconscious. That's the last thing you remembered before waking up on the shore, and in clothes, no less.
You weren't sure how that happened, but whatever siren magic was at work, you were thankful for.
You remembered being with Mingi on the forecastle deck the previous night. You were humming when he came to you and he had that distant and dazed look on his face.
A new wave of horror washed over you as you realized you could have put him in danger.
You couldn't stay here.
"Mingi." You spoke up, your voice almost being drowned out by the racket from the storm outside.
"Yes?"
You weren't sure what it was that made you comfortable enough to tell him this, but you did.
"I got my memories back." Your voice trembled when you spoke, causing Mingi to be confused.
"That's great news. Shouldn't you be happy?"
"I remember what I am."
His head tilted, waiting for you to elaborate.
"I'm a siren."
Mingi's jaw goes slack, his eyes widening.
"I got caught in a storm and hit my head. That's how I ended up on the beach. This weather must have triggered my memories." You continued.
It all made sense to him. You weren't scared of the storm, you were overwhelmed by the rush of your memories returning all at once. Well, and the fact that you're a siren on a ship full of pirates.
You were on the verge of tears, feeling scared of your fate, but even more so what Mingi would think. It didn't help that he hadn't uttered a word since your confession.
"I..." You trailed off, unsure if you could even speak the words. "I need to go."
"No." Mingi stopped you immediately, speaking up so abruptly it made you flinch. "I want you here."
What?
You couldn't believe what he was saying. Was he insane?
"I don't belong here." You told him. "It's dangerous. Plus, I'm sure your crew won't take kindly to a siren being aboard the ship."
"The crew isn't in charge, are they?"
He made a valid point.
You paused in thought, considering the options available to you.
"If I stay, I want you to tell them the truth." You finally spoke.
"Deal."
The following day, Mingi gathered his entire crew on the main deck to address them.
"You brought a siren onto the ship?!" One of the crew mates exploded upon hearing the news.
"I didn't know!" Mingi defended.
"You put the whole crew in danger!"
"Not on purpose. I would never do that."
You chewed the inside of your cheek nervously as you looked around, taking in the mix of expressions on everyone's faces. Your gaze landed on Yeonjun who seemed uneasy. It was obvious he was trying to figure out how he felt about this situation.
"I know some, if not most of you, are upset about this, but it's not her fault. She lost her memories temporarily due to her injury. She only just got them back yesterday."
"She's still a siren." The same disgruntled crew mate spoke up.
"Does she appear to be a threat?" Mingi countered, pointing to you and your trembling frame.
"She's in a disguise!" The man argued. "How do you not see her for what she truly is."
"I do. It's you who doesn't see her for who she truly is."
The crew mate had had enough. There was no getting through to his captain. He knew he needed to do something.
"There's only one way to fix this." He reached for his weapon.
All you did was blink and Mingi had a pistol pressed against the man's head, his actions so fast you couldn't even process them. The usually bright and sometimes childlike captain's eyes darkened, their usual soft shape now taking on a much sharper and narrow one as he stared into the panicked eyes of his crew mate.
"Don't touch her." He demanded threateningly, cocking the gun. "That's an order."
The crew mate gulped, his hands held up in surrender.
"If you can't respect your captain, you'll be swimming with the sharks."
"Sorry, captain." The man spoke so quietly you could hardly hear him.
When Mingi withdrew his weapon, the crew mate scrambled back, his eyes lingering on the gun.
The atmosphere became eerily quiet, everyone clearly on edge after what just happened.
"I think she should be able to stay." Yeonjun spoke up, stepping forward.
You were surprised at this, not expecting him to take your side.
"If she wants to." He added, quietly.
"I do." You nodded.
"I want her to stay as well." Mingi spoke up. "If none of you agree with that, I'll be more than happy to drop you off at the nearest port."
His crew shared glances before they all nodded, ultimately agreeing to you staying on board.
"We're under attack!" The ship's battle master shouted.
"Load the cannons!" Mingi ordered sternly. "I want all hands on deck!"
"Yes, captain!" The crew chorused.
The men in charge of the cannons began loading them and pouring gunpowder inside. Without warning, a loud boom resounded in the air as a cannonball was propelled into the air, landing near the stern of the approaching enemy ship.
"Keep going!" Mingi urged.
He needed to slow the ship down and perhaps even sink it before it could get too close.
The cannonballs were only able to hold off the oncoming vessel for so long. If this ship got close enough, the crew over there could invade and start attacking.
"Captain, they're closing in!" The lookout up in the crow's nest called.
"We don't have any other choice." Mingi muttered to himself. "Y/n! Come on out!"
The men on board dug around in their pockets, retrieving the earplugs they fashioned, shoving them into their ears as you stepped out onto the deck.
This was the first time you'd be doing this in battle and to say you were nervous would be an understatement. Despite your fears, your drive to help Mingi and his crew was much stronger, pushing you to do the best you could.
Once Mingi gave you the okay, you started singing a haunting melody that caught the attention of the opposing crew.
They were close enough for you to see that they had stopped moving about the deck, being stuck in place.
Mingi gave a signal to the men at the cannons. They moved quickly, loading them up with gunpowder and cannonballs, firing them at the enemy ship. Some of the men were startled out of their daze, unable to do much as their ship began to sink.
Mingi gave a signal to the crew, indicating that it was time to hightail it out of there.
Once the ship had safely retreated, the crew was able to take a breather.
"You're incredible." Mingi beamed, pulling you in for a hug.
"It's nothing, really." You grinned shyly.
"I'm serious." He cupped your cheek.
Your eyes moved down to his lips momentarily, which he took notice of.
His thumb ran gently over your bottom lip as he closed the space between your faces.
When his lips made contact with yours, fireworks exploded. His embrace was warm and his kisses were full of passion. It was nothing like you've ever experienced.
"Captain's kissing Y/n again." One of the crew mates commented, causing a few others to groan.
Mingi pulled away long enough to scold his crew, telling them to let him have his moment.
A month had passed since it was agreed that you would stay on the ship. During that time, you and Mingi started dating. He thought you two were the coolest couple in the seven seas. A siren and a pirate.
Honestly, life couldn't be any better for you. Looking back, you were glad Mingi asked you to stay on the ship. If you had let your panic and fear control you and jumped ship like a coward, you wouldn't be here right now with the man you love.
"This calls for a celebration!" Mingi shouted. "How about I have the chef cook up something special for us tonight?"
The crew cheered in response.
"And how about you, my love?" He turned to you with a grin.
"Sounds like a perfect way to celebrate."
Note 2.0: I wanted to put “siren!fem reader” in the pairing but couldn’t because I wanted to keep it a surprise. Though I think it was pretty obvious about halfway through 😅
