To all the people in the fandom who forgot: Buck grown ass man who has no problems with asking people call him Buck not Evan if he wants them. He told 118 when he was super anxious about first day and they pranked him right before it, he told Maddie, he told HIS PARENTS. If I'm not mistaken he corrected A*by too. So you really think if he would be not ok with being called Evan by Tommy he would say nothing? He would ask to be called Buck. But he DIDN'T. Because he LOVES Tommy calling him Evan
Tommy is not toxic or transphobic to call Buck by his given name and not choosen name as he never was corrected

Was thinking about how if you were doing a modern au that yeah keeping Shadowhearts name the same would be a little weird, but then I remembered that I have a buddy I still call by his gamertag. Like Ive known him for years and I know his real name and everything, but he introduced himself as it so that's just what he is now real name be damned

Kind of feel bad for people who head into the books after having already engaged- even passively- with the aftg fandom. like there are so many things that are meant to surprise you. the 'oh's. The looking at everything with neil's pov and only after completing the series realizing what a fucking idiot he was at times. The kisses. Those reveals. The thunderclap of "Doesn't mean I wouldn't-***". Somehow, those guys already know all this. They know at the end there's gonna be a pairing, and that kinda takes away the beauty and surprise of it. They know about a game, the deaths, the characters. It's kinda sad they're never gonna enjoy it the way we did

Since it appears I'm not the only one currently obsessed with Inspector Gadget, I would like to inform you all that Gadget's real canonical government birth name is "Augustin Tamare."

am i just insane and paranoid or is it horrible that so many websites need you to sign up to use their stuff now? especially with so many websites asking for not just your email but phone number too?? some get even more personal than that?? i don't want to give that information to random websites just to use something, but for some reason this is just normal now and everyone treats it like an okay thing to do.

The dramatic irony of everything happening with Jojo Siwa is so fucking hilarious
First she exploits a disabled child -not hilarious- repeats the cycle of abuse that she was subjected to on dance moms with her own show, allegedly cheats on her girlfriend, etc, etc. then she goes through her “switch” and goes through her 14 year old emo phase at 20.
Tell me why this kid has the audacity to sing a song called Karma.
She tries so hard. She’s trying so hard to make it seem like she’s making the most dramatic change of her generation, she’s completely changed, no more rainbow glitter dance moms now we have emo sparkle darkness revenge fairy. She wants people to think she wrote Karma. She talks about her writing process, and she says how brilliant she is for thinking it up, but she also says that it was pitched to her a few times so we can’t accuse her of lying.
I think on paper this plan was probably a great idea, a chance to break out of her reputation for bows and glitter, but the execution is nothing but a disappointment. I think instead of going emo and taking inspiration from things she doesn't understand and being genuine, the switch honestly could've been welcomed with open arms but she's not genuine and she doesn't want to make a natural switch. She wants to be risky because she thinks it'll make her look cool or someone higher up decided for her and she went along with it because that's what'd make more money or maybe her mom made her.
Once it came out that Jojo didn't only not write the song herself, she wasn't even the first one to record it, that's when the irony of the situation kicks in. I know absolutely nothing about Brit Smith but she's and icon and I love her with my whole heart.
Brit Smith releasing her version of Karma and it doing better than Jojos is my favorite form of dramatic irony because of course this all happened to a song named Karma.

A few years ago at a con I met an Enjolras cosplayer. When I went over to talk to him he was fully in character. He called me "citizen", shook my hand, thanked me for supporting the revolution and invited me to the next Amis meeting.
Considering the real Enjolras personally invited me to a meeting I think it is safe to say I am basically an official member.

Do people actually think ccs call each other by their real names off camera/irl? Unless they knew each other irl first (ie Impulse and Skizz) these guys are 100% calling each other by their gamertags. If you guys met ur online friends irl would u start calling them their real names??
