#lesbophobia mention
why are people so weird about ppl that hc julia lesbian😐😐😐lmfaooo. like the lesbophobia i see is kiiinda weird! i dont even think people that hc her as bi and ppl that hc her lesbian need to coexist and hold hands but i see absolute shit thrown at lesbian julia hcs and even mkulia to a certain degree for being like.... wlw lol. saw someone unprompted say not everyone needs to be a lesbian refering to them hcing julia as bi😭. like hooollly shit no one likes you dude. ill be the first person to block people over headcanons i dont like but going out of your way to say that is loser ass behavior and hm quite lesbophobic
and the excuse that its "stereotypical" and bad representation to hc her lesbian bc shes a bitchy character actually makes me want to mald. like you do realize another lesbian stereotype is that we're all perfect and nice. cottagecore is an epidemic. anyways hcing characters that just so happen to fit stereotypes isnt fucking bad if youre even an ounce of respectful, and by saying it is youre implying 0 lesbians on the face of the planet are mean which is disgusting amounts of one dimensional. and anyways being honest, lesbians are the ones that are gonna be hcing characters as lesbian bc no one else likes us lol. i swear to god ive been on this tirade more than once in this fandom and people listen exactly 0 times. fun!

sometimes when new people join fandoms for podcasts that ended years ago they end up dragging with them the worst discourse seen by man
inspired by seeing a post that argued, "hcing this woman as a lesbian is fetishistic, instead you should ship her with the man that killed her"

Hi lavender! If ur comfortable can u help and explain some of your experiences or tips on how to know if you’re attracted to a gender or not?
sure!
in my experience it's been pretty straightforward, from a young age I found myself just not attracted to and often confused by my peers' attraction to men. I was only ever attracted to non-men.
I had to keep myself closeted for a long time, and tried to force attraction, mostly from my own internalised lesbophobia. but doing this only strengthened what I already knew, I didn't like men.
I do not recommend forcing yourself to be attracted to people, it hurts and is bad for your mental health.
the best way I can put it is my attraction to non-men feels natural, and correct. and I think whatever attraction to a gender feels natural and correct is generally what you like.
of course, having no attraction at all is also completely natural, asexuality is valid.
it's really something you should think about, something that doesn't feel forced. look into and research sexualities or attractions to find ones that resonate with you personally, and keep in mind this can change, which is also normal and okay.
no matter what though just keep yourself safe, and take as much time as you need.
this stuff is a spectrum, there's a lot of terms for sexualities and romantic attractions, as well a spectrum of being aromantic or asexual.
just take your time and don't be afraid to change your label if it doesn't fit anymore.

I do think it’s a bit... weird that when lesbians use the terms WLW or NBLW and vice-versa, they can get people in their notes / comments saying that those terms are ‘TERFy’ because ‘Lesbians can be attracted to men too’, I’m not here to argue about that claim, Gender and sexuality is a complicated thing that’s different for everyone, however I never see this happen for gay men. If Lesbians can be attracted to men then by that logic gay men can be attracted to woman too, right? So why is it not ‘TERFy’ when gay men use the term MLM or NBLM?
It just appears like....It’s a little Lesbophobic....Perhaps...

James Somerton is a misogynist piece of shit, but the way he speaks about lesbians is an infuriating betrayal of the queer community.
Legally, lesbians were and are treated on the same level of bad as gay men. Gay panic doesn't and has never excluded them, same as convertion therapy, same as anti-sodomy laws, same as police brutality, and many more I could mention.
And socially? Women as a whole are already persecuted, so add homophobia to the mix, and I doubt that'd lead to less discrimination than what gay men suffer from. And that's not even getting into how shittily trans lesbians are treated
But frankly, we all know why he said that. The section where he misgenders Nate Stevenson and Rebecca Sugar and throws them under the bus really says it all: it's because, in his fucked up mind twisted by misogyny, there was more "lesbian representation" in media.
The kind of representation where they're demonized, dehumanized, and erased, where their deaths and hardships are treated shallowly and without a hundredth of the compassion spared for their straight leads, where they're fetishized and objectified for the sole eyes of straight men, sometimes all of the above at the same time.
Fuck this guy.

“stop policing queer people and their identities!!” “stop acting like a cop men can be lesbians”
you know lesbians are one of the biggest victims of violence from cops right. Especially POC lesbians and ESPECIALLY black lesbians and ESPECIALLY ESPECIALLY trans lesbians. Right.

Being interested in stuff like Murder Drones, Doom, Watch Dogs/ generally all sci-fi or cyber-related stuff as a femme is SO HARD
Like, I’ll see merch for something I like, get excited about it - then realize I don’t want to wear it because it’s either only suited for more masculine styles OR just straight up does not fit with the rest of my clothing.
And I hate it so much because I want to buy things from the stuff I like, BUT I ALSO WANT TO BE A FEMME. Soft earth tones and frills do not go with ill-fitted, clearly made for men in their 40s, toxic sludge green T-shirts with a print that’s way too big.

The wild part about tr*ns*ndrophobia is how happy and quick people were to latch onto a term coined by a guy with a lesbian correctional r*pe fantasy who also loved the idea of r*ping butches into being trans men. Not to mention all of the perpetuators of tr*ns*ndrophobia all support Saint as well.
Like I dunno, maybe these guys do not have both lesbian's and women’s best interests at heart.

I find the whole "gay teachers telling their students they're gay is grooming🤬😡" crowd funny because I remember in second grade when my teacher explained she would no longer want to be called "ms." because she'll be a "mrs." after she married her long-term boyfriend. Or when I saw teacher after teacher getting pregnant and after they came back from maternity leave, they showed pictures of their new family and they expressed their happiness and how much they missed us. Our class - made of eight-year-olds - understood that this is just what happens in teachers' lives. We weren't scarred for life, and we especially weren't groomed to be one way or the other (if that were the case, this blog wouldn't exist because I'd be cishet). That isn't how this works, y'all.
Heterosexuality is seen as inherently non-sexual no matter what, so it is acceptable in all circumstances. Queerness is seen as inherently sexual, however, even if it is a teacher saying he has a boyfriend or a woman embracing her girlfriend, or a person changing their name - it is deviancy in these peoples' minds

It’s comments like these that make me want to kill myself.
All I did was talk about my pride in being a lesbian and other lesbians’ pride in the label and how expecting us to fuck men isn’t offering us freedom of choice, it’s punishment, but the lesbophobes who say this shit to us don’t realize it because they can’t conceive of anyone not loving men the way they do or how constricting being available to men would be for us lesbians. And ofc I get called a terf for it.
Y’all really showing your true colors by accusing lesbians of being terfs for literally just being lesbians. Especially since nowhere did I mention trans women(though obviously they are included by default when I talk about women and lesbians) or use any form of terf rhetoric.
Or is my lack of attraction to men all the terf rhetoric you need?
Hmmm… 🤔

I feel like the reason people don't like man-eater as much anymore is because you made her a lot more evil in a very grimy way, like if flight rising had no rules you would make her a full-on rapist and sex trafficker or worse. and the people who liked for being Fun Evil don't like that. like past Maneater was just rude to ballpit vomit, a child. current man-eater would kill her and use her blood a. its not a bad thing, but its a thing.
tell me exactly why you'd think my masculine lesbian OC would be a rapist! quickly!
(also I desperately hope you're not associated with ballpitvomit's owner because it's pretty fucking scummy to drag someone else's character into hate about all this shit you just made up about MY character right now. get a fucking life you piece of shit lesbophobe)
